its really good. it has a really nice tang to it that’s not overwhelming like of sauces have. its thick enough so you dont have to put a whole lot to get the flavor. cooking with it is good too. if you’re going to make chicken tacos i recommend using it that way you can bake in the flavor.

i wouldn’t use it to marinade though.

I’m obsessed with using this in my ground beef. I love that it’s a paste, it seems to make a huge difference in the decadence of the flavor. Definitely adds more moisture into the beef! I’ve tried making my ground beef without it and just using dry spices, but this makes a noticeable difference.

I’ve been trying to locate gluten-free taco seasoning/sauce for 10 months now, and my search ended when I discovered the Frontera brand of products. This sauce is nothing short of outstanding, due to the blend of flavors and the texture.

I love that it calls for a bit of sautéed onion (I use shallots, onions create problem with digestion), and then you add the sauce. Since it is just for me, I use a portion of the packet and store the rest in fridge for another day (can use to flavor mini turkey/chicken meatballs — very flavorful).

IDK why people keep complaining, saying this is not the same as the sauce in the quesadillas. Duh, of course it’s not. This is the Chipotle Sauce thats on the Quesarito’s and the Spicy Potato Burritos.

NOT the Jalapeño Sauce thats on the quesadillas. They are two different sauces. I always preferred this one personally. I don’t like the Jalapeño Sauce and have always ordered the quesadillas without it, when the Chipotle Sauce came out with the Quesaritos and I tried one I fell in love and I started asking for them to swap it for the other on the quesadillas and having it either added to stuff or ordering sides of it to spread around.

This does taste just like what comes on the Quesaritos, right down to the hint of a smokey flavor. We absolutely LOVE it! We haven’t been this happy since the Fire Sauce came out in bottles lol.

Do you really think people are going to pay $16. 49 for a bottle of Taco Bell Avocado Ranch sauce? I could literally get a double steak grilled burrito, two steak Chalupa Supremes, and a box of 12 soft taco Supremes for what you’re charging for this.

This is my husband’s favorite sauce. He uses it with so many foods. Pizza rolls, burritos, taquitos (misspelled), basically any greasy food that goes in the microwave. He will by 2-3 containers worth eveytime we go to Walmart because he doesn’t want it to run out or take the chance of it being sold out when he does run out.

I love shrimp and buy it at least once a week. This is my go to cocktail sauce. It’s a little bit spicy but definitely not overpoweringly spicy. I love it!

With this on hand, you can make burritos at home that taste just like Taco Bell or. maybe better? Start with a high quality tortilla, warm refried beans, chopped onions, if you like them, and really good cheese.

Then pour this on and microwave it for 30-45 seconds. After warming it up, you can add your own sour cream and/or shredded lettuce. You won’t miss getting in the car to drive to a Taco Bell in person.

But where’s the heat?! This sauce is not “HOT” at all. I appreciate the nostalgia of the Taco Bell flavor and its certainly addicting, however, I find myself pouring something legitimately spicy on top of this sauce.

This is absolutely the best sauce out there. It’s great on tacos and burritos, yes but what about other foods? I enjoy adding this to my breakfast. A little cheese and mild sauce on my eggs please. In my omelets.

I’m surprised this is marked mild and not medium, it has a pretty good kick too it but in a great way. Its delicious for som many things, I’ve used it to flavor and cook shrimp with for shrimp tacos.

I’ve used it as is for a topping to tacos of all types as show in the picture, I’ve also used it mixed with greek yogurt (or use sour cream) to make a creamy lime cilantro sauce for topping dishes as well.

Much better than expected. Tons of flavor. Thicker in consistency and carries a bit of a spicy kick to it which I dont mind, and I’m a “mild” hotness person all the way. Would definitely buy again. I’m eating it on the Saporro Ichiban Ramen now.

Love this stuff! Goes on anything. I eat a lot of mixed steamed veggies, a few squirts and this changes the whole flavor of them without adding much of anything else. But I like to add a twist of lime.

Also use it on breakfast tacos, chicken fajitas, grilled pork loins and on and on.

This is wonderful sauce for tacos. It’s not too hot and it has the perfect blind of spices. My mother bought only this brand when I was growing up. I don’t live in KC or outside KC anymore, but when I go back for a visit, I load up on this taco sauce and the spices.

Hmmm, not for me. Some of you might like it, but to me it tastes too much like a watery ketchup. I definitely won’t be ordering it again. 1 of the jars I ordered smashed open in shipping. My box stunk with a rotted hole in the bottom by the time it arrived because of this.

Spanish Gardens is the best taco sauce. Been buying it or having people ship it to me for over 50 years. If you like best then get the very hot. If you don’t like hot at all get the mild. We do use the mild or hot for nachos and taco salad.

The hot isn’t that hot to us but works great on tacos if you can’t get very hot. We live in California and have tried many other brands but this has the best flavor. My husband thought I was nuts using sauce from Kansas City, he’s a native Californian, until he tried it and got hooked.

We love Ortega Taco Sauce. Have not been able to purchase it for a couple of years. However, when I checked the Walmart web site, there it was. Ordered 8 glass bottles. Luckily all arrived without even one being broken, which was a miracle.

All 8 each 16oz glass bottles were thrown into a really flimsy box with about 4 inflatable small green bags. The bottles were clunking around together when I picked it up off the porch. God must have been watching over my taco sauce, otherwise I don’t understand how the box made it here in one piece.

Your warehouse people should be taught how to mail glass bottles. Can you imagine what a mess it would have made if they would have broken. At least they should have been put into a sectioned box like the kind used for wine bottles.

Ortega is my favorite brand. This taco sauce contains green chili powder, plus a tomato base with vinegar and paprika. It does resemble ketchup with hot paprika, but it is very tasty. Another name-brand does not contain any chili-pepper ingredients whatsoever, but only “spices.

” This Ortega is hot, but not burning hot. Nevertheless, a little goes a long ways.

Only purchase what you can readily use. I purchased a three pack of this sauce to be delivered. The expiration date is in July, 2023, so it was good for long term storage. I used up one bottle. When I went to open the second bottle, I discovered the cap seal had been broken.

The product had seeped out around the bottle opening, and was black under the cap. I opened the third bottle to find the same condition. It is unreturnable since it is past the 90 day return window. I virtually paid for three bottles and could only use one.

I used La Tortilla Factory Sauce Starter last night when I made tacos. My tacos are a mixture of pork and beef and I usually add my own spices; however, this time I used this convenient sauce starter for my spice mixture.

You squeeze the contents directly into your pan, right on top of the meet. I added water to the plastic envelope it was in and shook it around to get ever bit of the spices. I did this two times because we like ‘wet’ taco meat.

The results were outstanding. My husband said this was literally the best tacos he ever had. I don’t know if he was trying to get on my good side, but I do know the entire family ate everything I prepared.
