20 Best Sandals For Toddler Boy (2023 Updated)

The shoes are very cute and seems pretty sturdy. Plus, big positive, my toddler can put them on himself. With that being said, only one shoe lights up. We’ve had this issue with Carter’s shoes in the past, which is disappointing.

We still would’ve chosen these shoes, even if they didn’t light up, but if the light up soles are a deciding factor for you, just be warned the Carter’s light up shoes aren’t always super reliable.

Bought them because they are so cute and my son really liked them. I got them for a little over 30$ online they’re much cheaper !! Not only that but my son used them one time for a couple hours (2-3) and when we Took the shoe he had lines all over from the shoe.

His foot is normal sized. They are very stiff. The light starts twitching after a while.

We bought these as replacement sandals after another type of sandal we’d purchased had very slippery soles that caused our little guy to take a few spills. Happy to report that these look very similar, are half the price, still have lights (no lights is a deal-breaker, haha!), and have traction! Hooray! No complaints.

I bought these for my niece back in June, and she literally just stopped wearing them only because the weather got colder. As soon as she put them on back when I bought them with her, she exclaimed, “Oh these are soooo comfy!” and wore them out of the store.

She’s 6 years old and at the time we bought a Youth size 2, though she’s now a 3. They held up extremely well for her wearing them throughout the entire summer; unfortunately, that’s probably all the wear they’ll get since she’ll likely have outgrown them by the time the weather is warm again! I’ll buy her another pair earlier in the spring so she can wear them longer.

Super lightweight, easy to clean and cute designs available! My daughter loves them. Easy to put on and adjust. I hope DSW gets them in toddler sizes as well. I bought some for myself as well! They are also made out of recycled material!.

I bought these for my 2 year old daughter to replace the Carter’s light up sandals she outgrew. They’re definitely better quality but they are a little narrower than I was expecting and the sole is a little thinner too.

Overall, they look like they will hold up to a summer of use and abuse but the Kids’ Teva Toddler Hurricane XLT 2 Sandals I also bought her (which are technically boys’) are a little wider and the soles are a lot thicker, so I wish these were more I like those but hey, that’s what you get when you buy sandals in season online!.

Absolutely love these shoes. I wasn’t sure about spending so much on shoes, when his feet grow so fast. But these are 100% worth it. Easy to put on as the top folds down. Easy to clean, you can just run them under the tap.

Comfortable to wear & cover the toes. Perfect for the beach; daycare, or just everyday use. I will be buying these each year now as his summer sandles. You womt regret it!.

The sandal for toddlers of parents who hate all other sandals for toddlers. These are great shoes that are comfy for running, climbing and playing in sand whilst still looking good. Providing great protection for the toes, enough support whilst still playing and easy to clean under the tap for anything that gets caught in between.

Buy a pair and buy a second pair in the next size up! You won’t regret it.

Love these sandals. Excellent quality, rugged sandals. I especially like the rubber toe and rubber sole for kids. These are a great all around sandal for the beach, riding bikes, and playground. I’ve tried another good quality brand when these sandals didn’t work out for the toddler with the wider foot, but they did not hold up like the other child’s Keen sandals.

This is our 3rd year purchasing the kids Keens for the summer. Would recommend and will buy again and again.

Keens are just the best summer shoe. I bought these for my 11yo daughter about a month ago and they have been fabulous. Keen sandals are always both durable and comfortable for my family. They are perfect shoes for water sports and dry activities alike.

They’re easy for even little kids to put on, but the style is such that even older kids can wear them without feeling like they are “kid shoes” These turquoise ones are great, and I am sure they will last long enough for my other two children to use as well.

A bonus is that all the Keen sandals we’ve ever owned have been super simple to care for. We always throw them in the machine and then air dry. So easy.

I bought keen’s sea camp for my 6 and 10 year old girls. I get them a pair every year – great for camp, biking, and hikes. The sea camp is especially light, and my girls prefer it over other styles. Their feet width is regular – not narrow and not especially wide.

The sandal washes well, and keeps its shape. My girls say the sandals are very comfortable, and they used them for long walks. No blisters. It’s a bit harder for my 6 year old to to put the sandals on by herself.

My 10 is picky and sensitive, and loves this style. As far as size goes, size up. For a reference my 6 years old is 13 is Skechers and 1 in keen big kids. My 10 year old is 4 in Skechers and 5 in keen big kids.

I was really excited to get my 5 year old a pair of Keens. Unfortunately upon arrival they absolutely wreaked of some extremely strong chemical odor. Left them on the porch to off gas and after two weeks it still gives me a headache when I get within 2 feet of them.

Not a regular headache, a tingling sensation throughout my whole head – clearly not something that should be inhaled and yet they were meant for my 5 year old. Keen told me it was a harmless primer and suggested I use Febreeze… to cover the smell, I suppose since that’s what that product does.

Nothing could cover this odor. I actually washed them in the washing machine and they still wreak of chemical odor. Made my washing machine smell of it as well. Really concerned what chemical could leave such a strong odor and when we get too near and get a whiff feel an awful sensation in my head.

It’s so concerning that Keen isn’t concerned why this pair smells so horrifically. I may get them tested by lab.

These shoes are awesome! My wife and I wanted to purchase a pair of water shoes for our daughter, so that her feet would be off the floor when going to the outdoor pool this summer. They are a great fit and true to size.

Keen has a sizing guide that you can print and then have the child’s foot placed on the paper to see the measurement. They are the perfect width, as Keen is known to be wider than other brands. There are spaces on the side to allow for water drainage, and they dry fairly quickly all things considered.

Definitely plan on purchasing additional pairs as our daughter grows. Love these shoes for the summer!.

I have learned my lesson now, but maybe i am missing something! we love these water shoes and used them as regular sandals too, and we just got our new pairs of jelly sandals that my girls are obsessed with, but they have the same feature that is the one drawback.

the top front of the sandals around the ankle, at the front there is a little tab that the velcro strap is threaded through, and despite trying different sizes and trying to bend the flap back away from the ankle, it of course is meant to lay flat towards the ankle.

This inevitably leads to the tab digging into their ankle after a while (and they have pretty thin ankles!). It doesn’t initially bother them but when walking or running around for a while they start getting uncomfortable.

otherwise they would be perfect!! i am just going to be aware now that this particular style isnt the best fit for my kids.

I bought this same shoe (different design) last year for my daughter and liked them so much I bought a bigger size for this summer. These are so cute and provide just the right amount of stability for little feet.

These are very well constructed at this price point. They offer good tread for water or dry land. The best part is they dried overnight after a day of water play.

I live in a warm climate, so I use them for pretty much everything: Beach, inside slippers, outside for groceries. They do their job and run true to size. In terms of comfort, they’re pretty typical slides IMO – they have minor grooves that mold to your feet, but nothing excessive.

The inside surface was really slippery the first day, but it goes away quickly after a few wears. I like that they’re easy to clean and don’t appear to have been damaged yet from all the use I’ve done.

Look on 5: 4 Comfort on 5: 3 (simply because they don’t have boost or better grooves for your foot, but, they aren’t uncomfortable either). Versatility on 5: 4 Easyness to clean on 5: 4 Not including pics because nobody wants to see my feet – they appear as is in the photos.

I bought the Big Kid’s size 5 which fits the same as my usual women’s size 7. I love these shoes because of the great toe and heal protection I get when traversing over rocky terrain to get to the Colorado River.

I live in Henderson, Nevada and there are so many cool beaches at Lake Mead and along the Colorado, but most of them are extremely rocky and you have to park a ways away from the shoreline. I looked for an adult pair that was not as flashy or colorful as the kid’s Newport H2, but unless I’m mistaken, Keen doesn’t make an adult pair of water sandals with a covered heal.

Boy am I glad I bought these. I felt rocks against my heals in and out of the water. It was so comforting to be waring these great shoes when I could see some folks hobbling around in the water. It’s crazy, but these shoes have made me want to get out more.

Very happy with this purchase.

Purchased these in white for my 3yr old daughter for an upcoming vacation. Love that they are versatile and can be paired with many outfits. My baby girl has wide foot and finds most shoes/sandals uncomfortable.

These fit her perfectly and the buckle gives me the ability to give her extra room if needed. She’ll be comfy and stylish all summer!.

I love that these sandals look like little Birks. They seem super comfortable for my toddler, since he’s able to play in them all day with no complaining and it’s just a plus that they match with everything.

We had a dark brown pair before we bought this tan pair, and they barely looked worn even though we totally got LOTS of use out of them. Bought the new tan ones because our son grew out of the old brown ones.

It’s an added plus that they have Velcro in the back which makes it easy for the little to put them on himself. LOVE these sandals!.

I had trouble finding sandals for my narrow-footed child and these solved the issue. They are pretty, durable and comfortable. You can dress up or dress down. I’ve been buying these for a few years now; Started with the Olive color then these.

But now we need a size 12 and that’s not available 😭. PLEASE MAKE THESE IN BIGGER SIZES, I BEG!.
