Like everything from ordering, shipping and style, but toe box is uncomfortable. Outside of my big toes still rub causing intense pain after a while. Thicker socks help but they are going to cause blister/bunion if I’m not careful.
This is a second try after I returned my last order. I got a wider set of them but still does help and there is no wider width. Bummer.
These are great light weight shoes to cut grass in. Safety composite toe is a must. I have great traction on hill side & I walk about 12 miles daily just cutting grass. So my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day.

They are roomy for my feet, I can flex my toes while wearing them. The only drawback, and it’s a minor one, is that they are very heavy. I wear them everyday while working and would recommend them.
I bought a pair of these 6 years ago. i work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. When Im off, I still wear them everywhere I go. They are still in good shape and will probably last a couple more years. Im worried they are going to quit making them so Im ordering another pair to be on the safe side.

I have been wearing these shoes at work, 8 to 12 hours a day, for the past 8 months. Let me tell you, they were absolutely wonderful for the first 5-ish months. After month 6, I HAD to find insoles due to the inner lining of the shoe losing all of the shape.
We’re officially on the market for new work shoes all together. The leg, knee, hip, and feet fatigue is too much to handle. For the price they were ($74. 99) I was hoping they could keep up with long days.
They are very water resistant and slip resistant, so that’s a perk. I love that they’re slip on style because I’m always on the go. Overall, they’re good short term shoes. Not at all for the long haul.
I work on my feet minimum 8 hrs a day. I have extremely wide feet due to genetic deformities and dead tendons behind 4 of my 10 toes, making them very prone to cramping especially if the fit/material of the shoe is too restrictive.
The mesh wraps perfectly around my feet and the sole keeps the heels of my feet plush throughout my shifts. You may want to buy a waterproof spray if there’s a chance of spillage to your shoes. Mesh is extremely breathable making for comfy feet when it gets too hot, but water seeps right in as quickly as water seeps into socks.

Shoes were quite pricey and we had to return the first pair due to being too large in length. The replacement pair has not yet arrived so we are not sure how it will fit once we receive it. The shoe was a good looking shoe and the composite toe makes a differnce in the weight of the shoe.

Very snug at first a lot of cushion. Feels pretty athletic, and very comfortable after a few times wearing them. The top of the back heel is the only small discomfort but mainly because of the cushioning.
Don’t let the comfort and convenience of these slip-on work shoes fool you. They’re as tough as your job site demands, with composite safety toes, electrical hazard protection, a lightweight HoverSpring foam midsole, and a comfortable stretch lacing system that locks your feet in place.
It’s alittle larger (length-wise) than size, but still fits well. comfortable for all day wear and very stylish. compliments left and right. catches my heel if i wear short socks, but i have plenty longs so it’s not bad.
I returned the shoes for a exchange (size 13 to size 14) and have not received my exchanged pair of shoes yet. Tracking#: 1Z18897E9053233276 Reference#1: 501194735 UPS Store Novi, Michigan Tracking#1ZY604910336259181.

So far so good. I’ve been struggling with foot pain for more than year. Since I’ve started wearing my Carhartt work shoes, it’s been much better. Note: I’m 74 years old and retired, these are now my every day shoes.
They are light weight, water resistant, and breath well. I figured that shoes sold by Carhartt had to be well built/designed. Also, I live in a rural area and appreciate the unique inner shoe design that keeps weeds and gravel from entering my shoes when working outdoors.
Wore once, the elastic around the ankles is a no go. Can’t get them tight enough to stop sliding around causing blisters at the back of the heel. Should have drove an hour to the nearest store to try on, would not have purchased due to the construction.
Sad because I like the look, just not practical ??.
I have only wore this shoe a few times, but so far it has met my expectations. I feels like it is made of quality materials that will hold up for some time. The wide size shoe gives me less pressure around the sides of my feet.
Only downside is there is less cushioning in the insole than I was expecting.
Work without Limits. Working without limits. Doing your job with pride. Going all in. That’s why modern work requires a modern shoe. Introducing Invader from Cat Footwear. If the name sounds like it could conquer all, that’s because it probably could.
This is Cat comfort and style at its best. Cat toughness with a steel toe. Cat Footwear’s iconic Intruder revamped. The tough, chunky, hiker-style silhouette that inspired a generation. Now ready to inspire what’s next.
Not comfortable at all. The steel toe hurt the side of my foot even with me ordering wide. I wore them to work 3 times. I even gave a few days between wearing to let feet recover. Each time they hurt more.
I called trying exchanging them for something else and they said that because I wore them, they won’t take them back. Very disappointed that they don’t back up there products. $120 down the toilet! Buyers beware!.
For being steel toes, they feel like casual shoes. But they grip the ground better than any shoes I own. Unfortunately, this leads to them picking up a lot of the pebbles that my work uses by the door, so I spend some time picking little rocks out of the tread multiple times a day.
The only mild downside it that they don’t seem to breathe much, so my feet are a fragrant force to be reckoned with, when I get home, but when mixed with my teenage son forgetting to put on deodorant today, I totally understand why no females want to live with us.
I’ve ordered boots from ya’ll and was excited to try some new ones. Fit was right on, I would have preferred a wider option but it wasn’t available. Took about a week or two to break in and they’ve been running fine.
Only down side was a strip of stitched leather began coming undone after a couple weeks. I stitched it back in and pretty confident it was for cosmetic anyways. Overall I would recommend buying these.

Someone wrote “easy to clean” in a review. That’s GOT to be a fake review. These shoes are comfortable and are great for my aching feet since I’m on them all day, but after a couple hours of wearing, they are no longer non-slip.
They are the opposite; they are extremely slippery and dangerous. I’m only surprised there are no lawsuits pending on these. If you’re on a boat deck, these are perfect. If you’re in a restaurant kitchen and you step on food, the deep and narrow tread sucks the food up like a sponge.
also any pebbles you step on outside. Grass, dirt, etc. Once the narrow and deep treads are full of muck and/or pebbles and dirt, the shoes are so slippery they’re dangerous. I’ve tried power-spraying, brushing with a stiff brush.
those treads hold stuff tightly like you wouldn’t believe. The only way to clean the treads is by scraping the muck out with a tiny screwdriver. Annoying and disgusting is putting it very mildly. I will never buy these shoes again, and I will look much more carefully at the tread on “non-slip” shoes in the future.

This review is based on me going into the store, trying on a bunch of safety shoes and ultimately picking these. The Timberland Pro Radius in all black. While I was biased on Timberland, I was totally open to something else that was 1.
Affordable and 2. Comfortable. I was initially interested in the Timberland Powertrain model because they were cheaper. But after trying them on I noticed the insole in the back was too narrow and I felt it digging into the side of my heel.
I don’t have an overly wide heels or anything like that it’s just that the insole didn’t ride up on the sides as high as it should. You can change the insoles (which I thought about) but why add the extra cost.
This model, the Radius is amazing. If you can go into a store I would recommend doing that rather than buying online. Best to get the feel on your feet and walk around for a bit. I also want to mention that the staff were great and didn’t mind we walking around trying on a bunch of shoes.
The Radius are super comfortable and very light for a safety shoe. Not light like a regular pair of runners but light for a safety shoe. They are a bit more bulky in person compared to the pictures on the website.
No issue with that but this is why I say it’s best to go into a store. Also check for availability on the site to make sure they have your size in stock. I’m going to talk about cost because yes these are mid tier price but believe me, you get what you pay for.
I barely had enough money for these but I’m glad I went with them over a cheaper pair. I tried on the few $90 shoes and they do not compare in both comfort and build quality. Sizing: I am a 10 usually but sometimes a 10.
5. If you’re in the same boat, get a 10. They fit true. Same as the Powertrain model. They fit very nice. I do have to get used to not being able to stretch my toes like I am able to with my runners.
There’s a little bit of wiggle room. As with the other pairs I tried on. In terms of durability, they look like the can take a beating but obviously that will depend on what you’re doing while they’re on.
In conclusion: 1 – these are great, 2 – if you can, go into Mark’s and try them on for yourself. If you are only able to buy online, I assure you, these are your best bet. As far as the review above me RE Helly Hanson next time.
I tried a few HH on as well. They felt great but we’re more expensive. Also, the styling on the HH was not as nice as these. Hope this helps!.
I am not a fan of buying shoes (especially for work) without trying them on first. I have a wide foot and typically cannot find much flr wide shoes in regular retail stores. I liked the looks of these and decided to give these a go as they are a “wide” width.
Right out of the box, i am amazed at the all day comfort they provide. Its been years since i could wear work shoes/ boots without replacing the insole immediately and so far i havent had to change these.
Will have to wait and see how they stand up to the test of time. If you have a fat foot, id say definitely give these a good.
Comfortable ,lightweight, good for walking. Very fragile and not water resistant. The sole cracked after one month, my socks are soaked at the end of every work day. Wet grass or the smallest puddle mean wet feet for rest of day.
I suppose they’d be ok for indoor use. Worst and most expensive work shoes I’ve owned over past 20 years. Only good thing is my company reimbursed me for the waste of money I spent.
This great looking Avenger pull-on shoe is as comfortable as it is good looking. The Full Grain Crazy Horse leather is durable and easy to maintain. A light weight composite safety toe and Pillow Cushion Insole make this a shoe that you will want to wear all day.
And this shoe is metal free, so it will not scratch surfaces and will allow easy pass through metal detectors. The composite safety toe meets or exceeds the ASTM F2413 standard for Impact & Compression as well as the electrical hazard rating.
A slip Resistant outsole has a Mark II Slip Resistant test results of SR/Wet / 0. 46, SR Oily / 0. 4, and SR Oily Wet / 0. 35. Convenient, comfortable and safe – buy your pair of Avenger safety slip-on work shoes today.
I recommend these shoes if you need comfortable composite toe protection. I spend 12 to 16 hours on my feet and these shoes have alleviated a lot of foot and leg pain. They are much easier to walk and work in compared to my old composite toe boots, plus they are lighter.
They are true to size and the insole that comes with these shoes is hard to beat. I put in some fancy (expensive) Dr. Scholls inserts and they aren’t as comfortable as the ones that came with the shoe.
They look pretty nice for a work shoe and they have great traction in slippery conditions. I can’t say enough good things about this shoe!.
I love these composite shoes. They feel comfortable and true to size. They look semi casual so it dresses up jeans nicely. I feel more professional and not overly casual. I’ve received a few compliments on them.
They are sturdy and have good traction on concrete floor. So much easier to slip on these than laced up shoes or boots. Love love!.
I bought it last month and has been wearing it on the jobsite. I used to have hip pain due to the shoes that I wore. It was hard and it hurts my feet so I have to walk a little awkward to compensate where it hurts.
Now my feet does not hurt anymore and hip pain is gone. Truly, when your feet hurts it does not affect only the feet but it affects other parts of your lower body because all the nerves are interconnected.

Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They’ve been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch.
I’ve ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

Very comfy and stable work shoe. I work 12 hr shifts and these shoes feel great. Bought a pr of 115 dollar reeboks that weren’t even close to these in comfort and stability. These soldiers are worth every penny and I plan on getting the scouts to try out for a pair to just wear around they feel that good on the feet.
I paid for rush shipping and ordered on a Saturday and received on a Tuesday. Verry satisfied with this shoe purchase.
I bought these shoes cause I wanted shoes instead of boots. Cause I can wear shorts to work. Plus I got the blue colored cameo ones cause they match the colors of my work. Fixing to buy a pair of defenders for the wife.
Building on the success of CAT’s Outline boot, the Threshold steel toe boot continues to offer comfort at a great price. A slip resistant outsole keeps you sure footed, while the waterproof construction keeps your feet dry in wet conditions.
A leather upper for durability and a soft removable insole for comfort finish off this boot.
I work in a warehouse and put 8-10 miles on these boots every workday. I’ve had them for 11 months and can’t believe how well they’re holding up! Still look like new! Even the laces are tough as nails! BEST boots I’ve ever bough! Comfortable, durable, good looking, etc.
I walk so much that I need to swap out the insoles every 30 days but the boot soles show almost ZERO wear! I’ve blown through several heels in my socks but the boots are rock-solid! Crazy! Worth every penny!.
Nice enough boots, just didn’t realize I purchased steel toes. They fit well, but weren’t what I wanted and I ended up taking them to my local F&F. They returned them without issue and I ended up getting Men’s Outline Soft Toe Boots.
They didn’t fit as nice (not as wide at the ball of my foot) and weren’t waterproof, but they were the only ones at a price range that they had in my size. I got some beeswax to seal them up a bit. I got them for stomping about in the snow/wet instead of sneakers I typically wear.
I wore them for 3-4 hours this weekend and walked 4-5 miles in them. They weren’t too bad. Good ankle support, good grip and even after stomping through snow, my feet stayed dry and warm enough. It was only 40F out, so not overly cold and I was moving most of the time.
So far, so GOOD! Very comfortable. They are light weight and breathable. I purchased these for my summer motorcycle commute where I stop at the gym several times on the way home. I carried my gym shoes in my backpack and rode with my riding boots.
I try to wear safe gear and was looking for a riding shoe (if there even was a thing) and came across these. Although not necessarily intended for motorcycle riding, there are several components of these shoes that, in my opinion, offer safety benefits.
Would be a great market if they did some R&D on motorcycle riding footwear. I think they are pretty close here!.
Kool boots. I cut tread in the soles with my die grinder. Needed little more traction. Tried to drill another hole for shoe laces, but rubber/composite/Kevlar was impenetrable. But that was impressive.
Light wieght, dries quickly. Kool look. Cons: wish the ankle mesh was tighter around ankle. I work with chainsaws, and the chips fall between sock and boot. And, sawdust builds up between mesh and composite on top of boot.
Pros: i probably will buy some regular casual shoes from Calceus. Would be nice to have more varieties/colors. We will have to see if the sole comes apart at toe or toe mesh rips from my abuse. Otherwise so far so good!.
These work shoes have been great for hot weather. Didn’t have sore feet after wearing them all day ! The only thing I dislike about the shoes is that it says “Fashion” on the backs of them in big letters.
Which can be a major problem on a jobsite filled with workers ready to make fun of you haha! They provide great ankle support while working on a sloped roof. The grips on the bottom need to be cleaned of dirt or you will slide around, so be careful! Overall I like the shoe it’s very comfy to work in.
The most comfortable steel toe cap safety work shoes and boots paired with kevlar mid-sole protection. Featuring lightweight, breathable, waterproof construction, durable, non-slip (slip-resistant) function.
Inspired by sneakers and tennis shoe design with industrial standard. Suitable for men and women, construction crews, work trainers, roofing, lawn moving, warehouse worker. The best alternative of invincible unbreakable shoes, Carhartt, Caterpillar, Blundstone, Timberland Pro, Danner, Dr Martens, Golden Fox, Harley Davidson, Maelstrom, Wolverine, Ever Boots, Ariat, Hi-Tec, Irish Setter, Justin Original, Under Armour, Thorogood, Chippewa, Keen Utility, Dexter.
Unfortunately I don’t have a video to share. I bought these shoes for my husband because he is a machinist. He needs a good steel toed shoe but in Kansas it gets so hot during the summer and these bulky 10 lb boots that they sell here are so uncomfortable after a few weeks even! They don’t breathe and they are like wearing a pair of ankle boots while you’re already on your feet for 12 hours a day.
Ever since I bought him these indestructible shoes after doing some research online it has everything he needs to work in a machine shop oh, they have the skid proof puncture-resistant steel-toed blah blah blah but also they breathe! His shoes actually breathe so during the summer he’s not going to sweat through the socks into the shoes and making them disgusting.
His feet stay relatively cool and he’s coming home at the end of the day saying his feet don’t hurt as much. They’re always going to hurt because he’s always on his feet but the shoes have made a definite Improvement.
My husband is coming home in a better mood! And shipping was also extremely fast I was expecting them to take weeks because of covid relief here less than a week after I was informed of shipping. I got on to check the update and discovered that they had been delivered!.
I have this Ares and two pairs of the J3 style shoes. I find I like the styling of the J3 pairs better. The soles of the shoe appear different when compared to J3 style but I can really tell if there is a difference in comfort.
The shoe is flexible and breathable. They are comfortable to walk in for extended periods of time and I feel secure that my toes are protected since the shoes is reinforced but so is the J3 style which I like the looks of better.
It makes it hard for me to find use for the Ares over the J3 style because they seem to have the same strengths in my opinion and experience as well as the same weakness. I need a pair of Indestructible shoes suitable for hiking as I don’t think the Ares or the J3 styles are it.
The fabric like materials will make them difficult to clean and they may get really unsightly if I take them on the nature trails. I still love the Ares since as I’ve mentioned, they have all what I like about the J3 style but without the looks.
I will have to find a specific use case for it, perhaps only use it for work or something.
Once again, I’m very pleased with the Indestructible Shoe line. The Ares pair in black are great aestheticly & fit well. I was disappointed though in that the inner soles were detached & pretty much appeared to be just poorly shoved into the shoes.
They fit back in but the confort, in my opinion compared to my other JB’s, these are a little less comfortable and not as excitable to wear just due to the insole. Other than that they look good and I like them.
I just prefer to wear my red JB pair instead because they are so much more comfortable. I’m sure I can probably work something out with purchasing some special insole or something but I must admit, I was so stoked after the first pair, the red JB’s, that this pair of Aries, very respectable looking shoes in their own right, I’ve been discouraged and wearing due to the loose-fitting inner soul.
Overall I think these shoes are great in general, but the most recent pair’s a little bit of a “bubble burster”. The little discrepancy mentioned probably doesn’t require a degree in rocket science to figure out & turn them into an awesome experience like 1st pair, but it’s disappointing just the same.
I appreciate your following up with me. Sincerely, Anthony D Sellon. PS: I’m open to suggestions re: the handling the issue with the ill fitting, loose inner soles issue. Such a bummer with a stylish pair of shoes like these.
Some factors that should be considered when choosing safety shoes for walking on concrete include the thickness and hardness of the soles, the amount of padding in the shoes, and the type of tread on the bottom of the shoes.
