My hair felt a little unhealthy after using this product. But that’s because I come from using fully natural conditioners, my hair probably isn’t happy having to go back to other types. It does smell quite nice though.

If you have thicker hair like myself and need more moisture, do NOT use it as a rinse out like recommended. Using it as a leave-in was the only way for me!.

I thought this shampoo would do wonders for my curly hair since I use their gel and was so excited to try this out but it left me disappointed. Every time I go to use it I have to actually open it to get the amount of product I need and I find it doesn’t spread/clean very well even if I double shampoo.

No lather and I never know if I get it all out.

This shampoo is ok, nothing special didn’t enhance my curls. There was a slight bit of shine and softness to my hair. For the price point it’s a nice shampoo, I loved the smell brought back child hood memories.

A friend gifted me this product and it’s my new favorite! At first I really liked the way it smells… the. I tried it and I was in love on the way it helps controlling frizz and defines curls without weighting my hair Down, or leaving my hair crunchy or looking wet.

The ingredient list is also nice so that’s a plus.

I recently purchased this product at Shoppers Drug mart to help me tame my curly hair and I absolutely love it! For years I have struggled with loving my hair and would purposely straighten my hair every day to avoid fluffy curly hair.

This product smells great, it is affordable and it works! I would say the only down side is that it is slightly sticky, but it does really help tame the curls! I would definitely recommend.

I am a huge fan of all the girls with curls products! I have struggled with finding good quality products for curly hair my whole life. It smells of coconut, but not too much. It’s a nice tint to the smell, and I love it. Most sulfate-free shampoos do not lather up well, but this one did a great job of lathering my hair and leaving it feeling clean afterward.

The texture of the shampoo was nice. It wasn’t too runny and it wasn’t too thick. This product is a perfect mash-up along with its conditioner. I would recommend this to anyone with curly hair who loves animals and taking care of their hair.

The only issue I had with it was that the cap didn’t close correctly the first time I used it. “.

I tried this for a week hoping my curls would love it but for some reason it really dried out my hair. It smells lovely and is inexpensive but I think that curls need moisture to look shiny and bouncy and this needs more of that.

The matching conditioner did not help either! Did not finish it because life is too short for bad hair days.

I love how this has tamed my frizzy, dry hair. It not only has a nice scent to it but it is also sulfate free! This helps so much with hydrating your hair and revamping those curls. I definitely would recommend if you have a sensitive scalp and need some extra conditioning for your hair.

The ONLY two things I love about this conditioner are the scent and softness of how my hair becomes after. That’s why I only gave it 2 stars. If you have carpal tunnel or arthritis, skip this product and go for something else.

This bottle was horribly invented for this amazing conditioner. It’s EXTREMELY hard to squeeze the conditioner out and you can’t even take the cover off to make it easier. Also, you have to hold the bottle then swing it hard in order for the conditioner to get off the bottom to the top, then squeeze it real hard.

To me, it’s not worth it. It only makes my carpal tunnel worse.

This is the best product for my crazy hair. I have frizzy hair, a little wavy and thin at the scalp. It is color treated and dry at the ends. I normally use ogx Brazilian conditioner but not crazy for the scent.

I was just attracted to Maui smell and color. It wasnt very expensive, so decided to try. So glad I did. My hair has truly transformed into a healthy, soft, shiny and bouncy texture. I absolutely love it! I use Royal oils H&s for shampoo because I had dandruff, that helped and it’s been over a year I’ve used and got rid of it.

I love Carol’s Daughter products. This Hair Milk Curl Defining Butter is one of my favorite products. It gives my hair a beautiful shine and it leaves my hair full of bouncy curls. This product smells awesome.

What I like about this product, in its formulation, its actually a hydrating styling ‘WAX’ not an actual ‘butter’ oil product. This give curls a light hold thats better than gel products. Don’t change this please.

I have been using this product for about a month. At first it did smell good and I really like the dry shampoo because it is the only one that works for me so I decided to give the shampoo and conditioner a try.

The smell lasts as long as the shower itself. I have very little fine curly hair and I have to use 5-7 pumps to be able to get a decent (and not overly done) lather/clean, whereas with other brands I only have to use a nickel sized amount of product.

These bottle have lasted one month and I am already half way done with it, I usually take about 3 months to finish a bottle of the same size. As time went on with my only legitimate complaint being the amount of product I need to use, I am noticing my scalp is now DRY.

I have never had a dry scalp, I never had dandruff, I dont use harsh hair products after showering and I rarely use the dry shampoo at that. Now I am too embarrassed to step out of the house as I wear scrubs for work and our scrubs are to be black, and now with my scalp being so dry that I now have dandruff to just fall and be seen on not only my curls, but to be seen on my black scrubs is horrible.

I have fine hair and already am self conscious about my scalp already being seen in general and now all the dandruff is also being seen without having to look hard to see it. It was good while it lasted, I probably would not recommend this product to other people.

Dry shampoo I still swear by, not the actual shampoo and conditioner.

I live by the beach. Even with a water softener attachment on my shower head, my hair is still so dry because the water is so hard. I have fine, medium density, high porosity, naturally blond but highlighted hair that I wear either straight or in my 2b/c waves.

Since moving here, I’ve doubled down on moisturizing hair products that would have weighed my hair down terribly when I lived inland in the city. I used to purchase light, volumizing products only but those simply don’t work anymore.

It’s always me vs. broom hair round here. This shampoo and conditioner combo makes my hair into the same easy wash and go situation that it was before I lived with hard water. If you have fine hair like me and you don’t live with hard water, you probably don’t want this shampoo because it will weigh your hair down and make it seem oilier.

However, dry hair of any variety, curly or not, will love this stuff. It’s a hard water hero for me. Also, curly girl approved :).

This conditioner is excellent at delivering moisture deep into the hair, and washes away without any sticky/gummy residue like some conditioners do. It has fantastic slip and I would bet that anyone with straight, wavy, or curly (up to 3b-c) hair would enjoy this conditioner.

It may not be moisturizing enough for coilies though, I’m not sure. I really like the smell and the value is good. The only down side is the pump- it SUCKS! Once you get the pump working, don’t try to touch it (or god forbid drop it in the shower), or it just won’t work.

The nozzle won’t push down to dispense the product. But it’s curly girl method friendly, smells great, conditions the hair beautifully, and is good value. For reference I have very fine, long 2c hair.

I received the product for free from Influenster and Zotos Professional. I have been using the Quenched Cream Conditioner by All About Curls for the past few weeks. I have 2B curls, but over the past year my curls have been slowly falling out.

While my curls haven’t started to come back, which would have been a miracle in my mind, I have tried to use the products I was provided with an open mind. My hair is extremely dry and the Quenched Cream Conditioner states that it is made for extremely thirsty hair.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find that to be the case at all. I used only this conditioner over the past few weeks and right now my hair is as dry as can be and tangles so easily I’m afraid it’s going to hurt my hair more than the last year already has.

This conditioner does have a nice slip, prior to being rinsed out and a pleasant scent. It’s just too drying for my hair.

I have pretty thick curly hair but my curls haven’t had the definition they used to. This shampoo combined with the other products in the system gave me the curls I have been wanting! The smell of the shampoo at first was very strong, not bad smelling just strong.

It took me a min to get used to it but after I used it , I was ok with the smell. I like that its sulfate and paraben free. I can tell that this shampoo was different than a regular shampoo because it didnt foam up as much.

At first it felt weird but the after results speak for themselves. I will be using from here on out as part of my regular curly hair routine. Sold!.

My hair has been struggling with dried ends. Because of this, my hair knots up very easily. Deep conditioning has been a staple for me while I wait for next hair appointment. This product came out at the perfect time! It was so hydrating on my curls and so easy to detangle my knots with.

My first love will always be the hydrocreme soothing mask but, this will definitely be my second favorite. The consistency is slightly thicker, so it’ll work great for intense deep conditioning treatments.

It left my curls soft and frizz free and was very gentle on my curls.

Hair background: I have medium to high density hair. My hair is medium porosity type 4a natural hair. Product: This conditioner has a thick consistency. it is white and has a very pleasent scent. in terms of the packaging I wish it was bigger because you tend to use more conditioner than shampoo as a curly girl.

so I would change the packaging to be bigger and also an upside down packaging to help with product flow. Product on natural hair: Not sure if it is safe for color treated hair. However it worked well on my un-color treated hair.

This conditioner is not as conditioning as other conditioners which is the main reason why I rated it as I did. it absorbs very well into my dehydrated hair but it didnt condition it well. It also did not have alot of slip and I found detangling my hair with flowing water easier than detangling my hair with this conditioner.

it is an overall ok conditioner for natural hair but it needs a follow up leave in conditioner. I have attached a photo of my hair after I washed it to see. On my wigs this worked great. it wasn’t to heavy and it conditioned them well.

I tried the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream so my review is for all 3 together. First of all, the scent!! It is the most amazing tropical coconutty scent that really lasts on your hair. The shampoo is Curly Girl approved but the other products are not, unfortunately.

This line is designed for thick curly hair but I have thin slightly wavy hair, so understand that my review is coming from that perspective. The shampoo lathered up really nicely but didn’t feel like it was stripping my hair.

It’s sulfate free so I’m not sure where the lather was coming from but I loved it! The conditioner and curl cream had really good slip and helped me form great clumps. Because my hairs are thin, I chose to put the cream on soaking wet hair and scrunched most of it out (I believe the directions say to use it on towel dried hair).

I finished off with mousse and was left with a great cast that scrunched out beautifully. While I’m a little concerned about the non curly girl approved ingredients, overall this is an awesome line and such a steal!! Very happy!.

I was excited to try a new curl enhancing product. I have curl type 2a that usually takes well to a lighter product. This product felt heavy and oily. Once I rinsed it out throughly it still felt as if there was a heaviness and oiliness left in my hair.

The fragrance was a very strong coconut smell. Though it didn’t smell bad, it was completely overpowering and sweet smelling. As I continued to add to my hair from this line of product, the fragrance only got stronger, and the product only felt heavier and greasier.

I would say if you love a heavily fragranced product and have a curlier curl type (maybe coarser hair and more of a ringlet curl) this product may work well for you. For me with fine hair and a more “delicate” curl type, this product weighed down my hair and wasn’t very effective.

That with the overpowering fragrance I will be sticking with my current line of product. For now, I’ll be walking around smelling like Malibu Barbie until my next wash day.

I really wanted to LOVE THIS but something was off for me. I used this for a full month before reviewing. The smell is the best thing about this smoothie. When first applied it feels like a leave in conditioner and it smells great.

I usually air dry my curls and after putting mouse or oil they will curl naturally on their own into “romantic style†curls. HOWEVER with this smoothie the hair becomes limp heavy wavy and the product is essentially very waxy rather than moisturizing after drying.

I have no curls after using it just a frizzy mess after using this and even by twisting the smoothie into each strand as per the instructions to create curls it does not facilitate curls… the hair needs to be fully washed by the next day.

Additionally this broke me out so so badly. I couldn’t even keep my face on the pillow after using this product. My hair needed to be washed out the next day. Horrible breakouts on my face and back after using this and then they stopped once I stopped using it / stopped sleeping on my hair after putting this smoothie in.

You get a lot of product which is nice but it’s almost causing me more hassle by weighting down my hair and causing the need to wash more frequently and I have to avoid my hair touching my body while using it due to the thick clogging waxiness of it.

Smells great though. Like Piña colada’s.

The first photo of my hair just shows the amazing curls I achieved after washing my hair, and then applying a dime size amount. Hair is semi dry here. I love it! Directions: apply to wet soaked hair , add product in sections, brush with a wet brush, and then scrunch scrunch scrunch….

There is a cast in my hair that I’ve never achieved with any other hair cream products … and I’ve used MANY. I’m so excited to see the result, I will let you guys know as soon as my hair dries. One thing I’d like to mention is this product is THICK!!! I used one tablespoon amount and it was too thick for my hair, so I used my wet brush to evenly distribute the product.

I have a hair condition so that is why my hair is a bit thin. Hair type : wavy 2c\2b UPDATE: so as I suspected as the coconut product line is a bit too THICK and greasy for my hair type. It made my hair very very greasy and oily.

I may try to use a smaller amount and see what happens. This product is more suitable for thick hair types (or Afro hair i would assume as well). It does , however, define my curls. I think I will continue using this.

I may apply it in my hair whilst in the shower. Extra wet soaked hair would do well with this product. I will leave a final update when I try this again in the future. UPDATE: just used the shampoo and conditioner.

Way too heavy for my hair. Rinsed it off and applied L’Oréal conditioner and shampoo. Made hair less heavy. But anyways , if you’re going to use these two condition and shampoo, u need this curl cream to give it that slip.

Cus the conditioner doesn’t have any slip! I used a finger tip amount and I think it isn’t heavy at all. I applied while I was in the shower. It is quite nice. It does leave curls. Everyone’s hair will react differently.

This can be used on thinner hair, but use a fingertip amount … Out of all three products I have received, this one is the best and reminds me of the brand sheamoisture. This formula, however, is much thicker … so use extremely sparingly for amazing , non weighed hair with lovely curls that look like I only took a shower.

This is my first influenster box and I’m so excited that I received one!! Nonetheless I am not going to be biased. When I used the shampoo it made my hair feel pretty rough and somewhat tangly after I washed the soap through.

It wasn’t a great feeling tbh. I used the conditioner, leaving it on for a few minutes which did help my hair feel a lot more softer. Honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of the smell from the shampoo or conditioner.

I used the curling cream which is AMAZING. The smell reminds me of the white Ferrero Rocher (which is my absolute favvv:)) I let my hair air dry and honestly it feels really soft I’m quite content!! I don’t know if the Olaplex helped with that or not I think overall I’d give this set a 4/5 stars.

The shampoo could do some working as it made my hair feel pretty rough before applying conditioner on.

It is a great product to define my curls, and it smells delicious. Compared to other alternatives, it is a little bit thicker and heavy so, it can be messy if used too much. It can be improved by making the product less heavy, or maybe it is for a different type of hair.

I’m Buying This Product For Numerous Friends and Family Members, for gifts! They Want The Magic Product, that made my hair go from frizzy to being healthy hair.

This has been a staple in my collection for the last couple of years. I used this for ponytails instead of gel and it worked very well. Idk if it is me or if the ingredients have changed but I feel like the product is different from the last time I used it.

It used to be really thick and seems to be less thick than before. I still would try it but this review is based off of previous experience.

So when I first received this box. I was excited for hair care product but when I opened it and saw how thick the leave in conditioner was and I was a little bit worried that it might weigh my hair down or make it look extra greasy even though I don’t have thin hair or ever have that issue.

I have wavy hair. It’s like 2c maybe 2b on some days and it’s very thick, dry and breaks a lot. I am constantly looking for products to strengthen my hair without overdoing it on the chemicals. my hair needs very little before it will start to get greasy so I try to keep my products as minimal as possible.

I decided to try this right away and have actually been using it for about 3 weeks now and that’s because I fell in love with it. I had been using Mark Anthony’s grow long shampoo and conditioner line and up until then I had been using The hask line and also spend some time using Cantu. I spend tons of time on my hair. I thought I had found the best product out there with Mark Anthony’s, but after using Maui I went out and purchased another set of the Maui wowie shampoo and conditioner along with the leaving conditioner because my hair has never ever felt better.

I’m not just talking about smoothness, but it is also shiny; it feels tougher and doesn’t seem to be breaking as much it’s not as frizzy overall. I am very happy with this leave in conditioner+ the shampoo/conditioner.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Maui Moisture in exchange for my honest review. The whole collection (shampoo, conditioner, and curl milk) smell amazing. They have a coconut scent that makes you feel like you’re in the tropics.

The packaging for the products is very nice and looks like something you’d receive at a luxurious spa. None of the products are tested on animals, which is always great! The curl milk wasn’t good for my 4a/4b natural hair.

I followed the instructions to put the product on towel-dried hair. A lot of curly hair products go on easily and produce a nice, bouncy curl. This curl milk was so thick, like lotion, and didn’t blend into my hair easily.

I really had to rub it in a lot before the white product disappeared. It was hard to apply to my hair and it didn’t produce any nice curls. If anything, it took away the lovely curls I had after using the Maui Moisture shampoo and conditioner.

I opted to not take a picture of the results because of how dull and dry my curls looked. Although this smelled great, I likely won’t use the curl milk again.

If you like using conditioners that you can still smell on your hair into the next day, then you will definitely want to give this one a try! The bottle design looks very premium and professional, and has lots of information on the back telling you about the natural ingredients they use, and how sustainable the packaging materials are.

It also gives clear instructions on how best to use the conditioner. The conditioner inside is a lovely thick viscosity, which when added to wet hair, easily spreads and coats each strand. You only have to use a little at a time, as it a little goes a long way.

The texture to the conditioner just feels so luxurious, and you know it’s going to do your hair a world of good! The fragrance of the conditioner is incredible. It has warm orange citrus notes with hints of vanilla and coconut.

Once in your hair, it doesn’t leave for a long time! I put it in one morning, and by the next morning I could still smell it on me! It left my hair feeling so soft and rehydrated. If you’re like me and you use a lot of styling products in your hair then it’s often left feeling dry and lifeless.

This conditioner will fix that and leave your hair feeling repaired and nourished. Even after a few days, it still felt so soft and healthy! If you’re in the market for a new conditioner, and you’re similar to me in that you want something that smells great and leaves your hair feeling repaired, then you should definitely go out and try this one!.

This is the 2nd product I use in a trio of haircare from Rhyme & Reason. I use this more on a regular basis because after the shampoo has done an amazing job at cleaning and stripping away any build up of oils or other products in my hair , I need something to help nourish and moisturise my hair as these products really work together and give great results together.

The bottle is 100% recyclable which is amazing for the environment and I’ve never known such until seeing this on the bottle. There’s all the information you’ll ever need written on the bottle and as mentioned this brand are trying to make a difference in the environment and they clearly give that message on the bottle which I’m in full support of.

The fragrance that this leaves in your hair is really nice and isn’t too dissimilar to the shampoo but the smell really lasts and lasts. My hair is always left feeling silky and smooth but not oily at all, just left light and smooth helping me create that perfect natural look that I’m after.

A little product really does go a long way with this but it takes a couple of uses to get the right amount which is normal with all products I’ve used. I like what this brand is doing and where they are heading and I’d be happy to continue using these products as long as they are available.

The bottle is also a slightly different colour to help you quickly see the difference between shampoo and conditioner great idea if you ask me.

Right off the bat, I was pretty surprised that the Rhyme & Reason products didn’t come with a pump. The squeezy bottle works well for the shampoo. In terms of scent, I actually quite like how the shampoo and conditioner smell.

It’s sweet – almost like pear drops – but not at all sickly. It definitely smells stronger coming straight out of the bottle than it actually does on your hair! The shampoo, has a tendency to make my hair feel a little dry.

It also doesn’t lather very well which means I end up overusing product in an effort to really clean my hair. On the plus side, this range does seem to give my hair a bit of body (once it’s dried). And I’ve noticed that it takes longer for my hair to get greasy too.

While I really appreciate Rhyme & Reason’s values, I’m not 100% sure this product is for me. I loved the shampoo and did feel that it was really nourishing. Bit after few uses, my hair started to get pretty dry (especially at the root).

Though this did give it an extra bit of volume, it also meant that it was getting a bit more tangled than usual. I also found that because the shampoo didn’t lather very well, it felt like I wasn’t able to properly work the product into my hair.

Overall, I still think these are good products and would probably work for other hair types. They just weren’t suited to me. If you’re looking to make an eco-friendly switch, I’d definitely look into the brand and maybe try out one of their other ranges.
