My family is happy with the Scott Standard Bathroom Tissue 80 rolls (506 sheets per roll) two-ply. I’m especially happy with it!! I was a little scared about purchasing, thinking it would not be right for me, it would not be like the Scott 36 Individually Wraped Rolls (1100 sheets per roll).

It is a smidge smaller round. There is a distinct difference but I’m very happy and grateful to have the Scott product. The paper is thicker and harder, you can feel it on your fingertips and visually right away that it is different.

but it is my beloved Scott. “DO NOT flush this paper”. Keep a waste basket close by and just tell your guests PLEASE DO NOT flush the toilet paper. This is my first time using this kind of Scott and it won’t be my last.

I got into the habit of buying in bulk since the pandemic. I had used another brand which I’d ordered from here during that time, but since they didn’t have it this time, I chose to try Scott in bulk.

Furthermore, I have used this brand before, so I wasn’t completely new to it. All I can say is, it’s the best decision I have made thus far. It’s great value for money and certainly meets my needs. Get it.

Received this item on Jan 6 2021 My family size is 3 with occasion family guest some weekends. A roll would last about 2 1/2 days we’re rolling (lol) into the 3rd month and we legit have 45 rolls left with a roll currently on the tissue holder.

Like I said previously, the tissue only last for 2 days compared to a roll lasting us a whole 4 days. I’m still not complaining 80 rolls of quality tissue for $50 is such a bargain. My experience this tissue is Septic Tank Safe.

It’s 2 ply not to soft and not to thick. I would recommend this product. My opinion this is a great product. Yous be the judge and give it a shot. Heck it’s definitely worse out there.

I used to really dislike Angel Soft. However when it changed maybe a year or so ago, I really liked it! (The back is flat, it’s a tad thicker and usually softer now. The packs began saying our thickest ever.

) I’ve seen many reviews of people not liking the change but I definitely do. The issue I have is the packs are inconsistent in quality. Sometimes the plies don’t line up and it messes up half the roll.

Sometimes the side with the design is rough and not soft! You can take 2 rolls and compare them and one will be soft and one rough. Toilet paper is expensive! Especially when you have several kids and go through a lot of paper.

Our plumber recommended this brand or Scott to help with plumbing issues. Now Angel Soft can you please read all your reviews about the plies not lining up and your paper being rough. Clearly with this many people/reviews stating this you have quality control issues.

As a long time user of more basic TP from Kirkland, this is much nicer in a lot of areas. Marginally stronger but a lot softer, and a generously-sized sheet, which makes for a huge roll, in width and depth.

It did fit on all our regular free-hanging hook holders without issue, but was a tight fit on the fixed, spring-loaded style. This is delivered in an enormous box, and you get 6 packs of 6 rolls each.

It is ‘only’ 2 ply but I really can’t see how 3 ply could offer any performance improvement, and just adds more paper waste to the environment. However, one trade-off for all that softness is that there’s only 320 sheets per roll, my normal roll has 380.

I’m pleased to see this is sustainably sourced, but that’s a standard offering these days. Proving that you get what you pay for, this is certainly more expensive on a per-roll basis than our regular rolls but that quality difference is noticeable, even the embossed pattern is sharper.

It’s a minor point but the sheets tear off very cleanly and the two plies don’t drift apart, which can be annoying. One unexpected benefit is fewer blocked toilets, so on that basis alone this would be worth the additional cost if you have a similar issue.

I’m sorry but the person or focus group who thought scalloped edges on toilet paper sheets was a good idea for toilet paper isn’t living in the real world! I do not think for one minute they tried to tear a sheet off for themselves bc it does not happen.

It’s a huge fail. The sheets do not make a clean tear to where you end up with this beautiful scalloped edge. No, no! The sheets are a mess when you try to tear it. And forget about it if you’re in a hurry because you end up having to find a new place tear off a sheet because the scallop never works.

It may sound like a good idea in theory but who pays attention to that? And my housekeeper always folds the ends in a point when she is finished cleaning the bathroom. Charmin is my one and only go-to bathroom paper but if this scallop thing continues it is a big enough problem that I would change brands.

No one wants to fight with a piece of paper when you’re on the toilet and ultimately that’s what happens. Please go back to the original straight edge. I’m not one to write reviews but it is that important to me that I needed to voice my concerns here.

What happened Charmin? My family has used Charmin toilet paper for years, the ultra soft and the ultra strong. They were both soft and durable. After the pandemic shortage the prices went way up and continue to do so, I bought it constantly as to not run out, before and after the pandemic.

Once I ran out of my back stock and had to use the newer (NOW) Charmin toilet paper THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY. I think the new product might have less sheets, and weighs less, I think the size of each sheet is smaller, and it is way thinner making it rough, scratchy, and all with almost no durability.

AND YET WE ARE PAYING MORE FOR LESS. EVERYTHING! After so many years of swearing by this product, I am confident in my decision to switch, and make sure everyone I know checks their products as well.

I sadly, no longer recommend this product. Beware of SKRINKFLATION AND SKIMPFLATION.

Charmin Ultra Strong has been my go to for a few years. I admit I am quite particular about having soft toilet paper, but also wants it too hold up for the job intended. This used to be the perfect product.

The last two packages I have purchased, I honestly thought there had been some mistake. The toilet paper is rough and scratchy, more the texture of off brand paper towels. It’s honestly uncomfortable to use at this point.

What happened Charmin? The product isn’t cheaper, so why has it gone from the previously luxurious feel to something that reminds me of the gas station bathroom? After several years as a loyal customer I won’t be buying this again, or any other Charmin product.

If they downgraded this one so drastically I can’t imagine how disappointing their other product changes will become.

It is the best, I strongly recommend. It is great for septic tanks if you live out in the country, and I am sure in the city it would also be great!! I like it because each roll is wrapped and I am able to store a lot of these tissues.

Matter of fact I had a lot of this tissue before the pandemic and I am so glad I did. The feel of the tissue is strong. I have been using this brand of tissue for years and prefer it to other brands of tissue.

Once you purchase this Scott 1100 brand of tissue you will also like it as well.

Its great stuff. I enjoy throwing it away. Every day Ill flush a little bit down the toilet & before you know it, I need more. All in all I dont believe I would get the same enjoyment throwing out a cheap product, just wish it came color coded to match the surrounding like it used to.

I can still remember the enjoyment it used to give throwing away color coordinated product. Ohhhh, the good old days! PS: they used to give you twice as much to throw out in the old days also, double the product double the fun.

I highly Recommend tis tissue for homes with Septic Systems! I have Septic and I have seen my Neighbors pump their septic systems 2 and 3 times in past 12 years since I been here in this home. I only use SCOTT 1 Ply and I am quite certain this is why my Septic system has not needed pumped out and reworked for so many years!.

Following the pandemic toilet paper shortage when we finally got Scott Toilet Paper back in stock, I immediately noticed a marked difference in quality. It was very thin, not as wide, and the texture was rough.

I wasn’t happy, but figured the change was made to expedite manufacturing to alleviate the toilet paper supply shortage. I am 68 years old and a lifelong user so, I figured I’d hang in with my brand loyalty to you till we got past the supply shortage issue.

During that time I had to buy whatever brand was available, but now that supplies have returned to normal I can always find Scott Toilet Paper in stock. However, I noticed the quality has seriously deteriorated.

It is still way too thin, not as wide, and very rough. Additionally, it crumbles leaving behind remnants and it is very, very irritating such that I thought I had developed an allergic reaction till I read almost unanimously negative reviews on Amazon complaining of the very same thing.

Reading reviews here, you keep responding that no recent changes have occurred which is really quite a foolish thing to keep saying when so many customers are even providing photographic proof that there is indeed a change to your quality.

If as a corporation you’ve not made changes as you repeatedly insist, then something shady is happening at your manufacturing plants and you really need to figure it out instead of denying that changes have been made.

I am in search of another brand because I cannot use your brand any longer for the reasons cited above.

I have to use 1-ply toilet paper because the plumbing is very bad in my apartment building. For several years I have only used Scott brand because it was available both in my grocery stores and through Amazon on line.

I am currently disabled and unable to shop in stores for myself. The last 5 times I bought the 32 pack of 4X8 rolls they have arrived in cartons that are purposely open on top and bottom to show what is inside.

SO the exposed areas with wimpy plastic open to the elements let the rolls get damp, squashed, dirty, etc. Moreover the rolls NOT exposed are covered in loose plastic wrapping and more often than not look partially discolored and dirty! WHY is Scott using such stupid cartons? And what has happened to the quality control? Amazon will not provide the former Amazon boxes that enclosed the Scott packages.

In fact now I can’t find the 32 roll packs on Amazon at all. What they DO provide is incredibly expensive and mostly not the same Scott rolls. So now I have to search for other sources or switch to another brand.

It’s very hard to find single ply rolls in bulk—and seemingly impossible to get them at a reasonable price. I am terribly disgusted by all of this. After being a loyal Scott customer for 8-9 years I may be forced to use another brand.

I personally bought Scotts toilet paper since I started shopping in 1959 that is 62 years, my parents bought Scotts many years during my growing up & Im sure before I was born. Scotts “definitely” changed over the last several years & I keep going back n forth buying Scotts toilet paper.

The last time I was in Costco it was the only brand still left on their shelves , I bought the large pack hoping for better results with it than the previous times of late. I always bought Scott & favored it over any other brands that came out over the years, it “was always good quality”.

As I said however that quality has changed in the last several years , the paper is very, very thin, seems to dissolve in ones hand as soon as it gets wet. Im very disappointed with it. The packaging claims that 1 roll will last a week, that is not true.

The amount I have to use is double or triple what one normally would need to use. My son & his family were visiting & they even made comment on how thin it is & asked what kind I was now buying. Unless this product gets back to the quality it once was this last large package I bought will be my last.

As I said previously I was a long term customer but when the quality went down I switched & periodically would go back in hopes Scotts had improved back to its usual quality, only to be disappointed.

I don’t know what the company’s reasoning for the drop in quality is, but I’m not buying 7th generation toilet paper anymore. It used to be a brand I trusted for it’s balance of eco- consciousness and quality.

The 2-ply separates if you breathe on it wrong I swear, and it’s just trial and error to get the ends correct so it can unroll properly during use. I asked my adult son if he brought in some other cheap brand and put it on my toilet paper roller.

He said No, I thought you did. like from the dollar store? So that makes 2 more folks complaining in the reviews about the disappointing change.

Looking at it on the store shelves – it is a darker color, and you can see the texture on the 4 double rolls – which they claim equals 10 regular rolls. It’s darker because it’s unbleached, which saves water, energy, and trees.

It’s 100% recycled. They state that it’s hypoallergenic. The texture is effective in doing its job – and even though it looks different overall, it is certainly first rate. It works comfortably and thoroughly.

The price can be a little daunting, but I bought it on sale, and am so happy that I did. No trees were sacrificed – what a wondrous gift to our planet, the eco-sysytem, and for generations to come. I highly recommend it, and am deeply grateful for their efforts dedicated towards natural, environmental excellence.

For a couple of years now, Ive been getting regular shipments of a brand of recycled toilet paper where each roll is individually wrapped in a colorful designed wrapper, each with something clever to say about toilets and toilet paper.

However, recently with an increase in our household and at our business, 48 rolls have not been enough! I questioned whether this brand would be as good, since it is two-ply, but it actually is almost the same as our 3 ply.

I really appreciate being able to purchase this recycled paper. And, Im happy to have found a second source for a good product.

I gotta give this TP a 5 star rating because I am more than impressed with how good it is with how little it costs. It says it’s 2ply, but it looks like 1ply to me, however it’s single ply is like twice as thick as any other brands 2 or 3ply TP and it’s so perfectly absorbent! It’s made in such a way that when you wipe it doesn’t soak up the whole TP and make your fingers feels gross and it doesn’t fall apart anywhere close to as easy as other brands multi ply.

I literally am able to use 2/3 the amount of tissue with Great Value Ultra Strong than any other brands “strong” TP and yet it’s still so thick and so strong it does the job right! And because of how strong it is it doesn’t leave very many pieces behind, and when I say not many, I mean almost none at all.

And when you tear it off the roll it doesn’t give so much TP dust poofing in your face either. The closest other brand to compare this one to would be Charmin Ultra Strong, but this one is still thicker and stronger.

A word of warning, if you go with Great Value TP, I would ONLY recommend the Ultra Strong one. Don’t try the Soft and Strong (that one sucks) or any of the others. The other Great Value ones are exactly what you would expect of cheap TP, so don’t even try them.

Just stick with the Ultra Strong. It’s by far and surprising the best TP I’ve tried and the only one I want to buy unless it’s out of stock.

This is the ONLY toilet paper I buy. I have used several different brands, angel soft, charmin, quilted northern and this Walmart brand beats all of them. The price is much lower than others since it’s store brand, the quality is wonderful.

It doesn’t rip, roll up if you use too much force and it flushes without backing up the toilet. I have 2 others in my household with me and a roll lasts us about 4 days because you don’t need a ton to take care of business.

It doesn’t fit in my toilet paper holder at the bottom of the roll in use which is more of an issue with my holder than this TP. If you have a lot of people or find yourself going through a ton of TP- give this a try.

My honest review. I’ve bought this brand for years but now, Buyer Beware! Changes have recently been made to Great Value toilet paper. It is NO LONGER strong. It is much thinner and pieces of the toilet paper break off when you’re trying to unroll the paper leaving you with “bits and pieces” in your hand.

Also, wanted to make you aware that this paper will come apart when it hits your “damp area” so you will be wearing “bits and pieces” of toilet paper in your underneath area.

Very good toilet paper for a real good price. Compared to buying a multi-pack of toilet paper at the grocery store, or even a discount outlet like Costco or Sam’s Club, this is definitely less expensive.

You get 96 rolls with 500 2-ply sheets per roll which comes to about 0. 36 per roll. It’s not the super thick deluxe type of paper, but does the job quite nicely. And who wants to pay a huge amount of money for something that is just going to be flushed down the toilet? Plus, this type of paper is better environmentally, as it breaks down well and is also better if your home has it’s own septic system.

I would definitely recommend this toilet paper to anyone who wants to save money.

I was first going to buy the big box of Scott but decided on this instead. I am very pleased. Like another reviewer mentioned (a very long comparison I might add but worth the read) I noticed the roll was wider.

This made me glad because I have noticed rolls have gotten smaller over the years. Manufacturers seemed to think consumers would not notice but it was the first thing I saw when the rolls got smaller.

I am happy these are “regular sized” and the quality is pretty good. I would definitely buy again. Hopefully, they do not follow the popular route and downsize their rolls!.

Best value. Ignore any reviewer that disagrees – their math is bad. This is the cheapest toilet paper, period. The only thing coming close is Kirkland. The primary maker for Costco is Clearwater / Shannon Meyers.

According to Fox Business, Kirkland toilet paper is one of their top 5 selling items, making $400 million a year. Thus, Costco likely uses other 3rd party manufacturers, meaning it can vary slightly from week to week, if you can find it (often out).

On the other hand, Boardwalk is owned by Procter and Gamble. Remember, these two toilet paper options are the only ones that’s full sized (4. 5 inches wide). Kirkland is 4 inches long (this is 3 inches).

But, this (at $38 for a larger carton) is cheaper per square foot (even if bought at Costco). This paper seems made for hotels. Most is only 3. 7 inches wide (Scott, etc). Finally, ALL “Mega” rolls cost 2-4 times more.

The math is not hard. Do it for yourself. I had thought I was going crazy. Is my toilet paper getting smaller — when they claim to be getting bigger? Yes! “Mega” rolls are only 3. 9 inches wide (by 3.

9). They are smaller, not larger. You’re more likely to make a mess. Turns out our toilet paper has been shrinking since the turn of the century. Many are now as narrow as 3. 7 inches (Scott being first).

Boardwalk is 22% wider! It literally chaps my hide! While the average American behind continues to widen, toilet paper only continues to narrow. For years, consumers bought a 1,000-sheet roll of Scott’s toilet tissue with each of those tiny little square sheets measuring 4.

5 inches by 4. 5 inches. The paper trimmed off the sides means that a four roll pack has 42 square feet less of paper. I want it back! Size matters. Why do they do it? Most people do not notice the shrinkage.

Quilted Northern used to make 4. 5 inch “Extra Wide,” but nobody noticed. Now gone. Might not fit in today’s holders, now designed for only 4 inches. Here is where it gets complicated. While the Charmin Ultra (Strong or Soft – Soft’s better) Mega Rolls are 3.

92 inches by 3. 95, the Ultra “Super” Mega Rolls are 4. 27 inches by 3. 72 (wider and shorter) – less than 3% larger for over a third more $$$. Total and complete scam. Thank goodness this exists. Costco’s decision to trim its Kirkland Signature packs from 36 to 30 rolls was similarly explained to Consumer Reports as a less-is-more approach.

A rep claimed the company took out the six rolls to provide a better product. How can they tell us, with a straight face, that less is more? I am not happy. “Full sized” Boardwalk (not Mega) at 4. 5 inches (by 3 inches) with 500 sheets is $37.

97 for 96 rolls, or only $. 006 per square inch. Mega is four times more. My box came pathetically damaged (as pointed out by another reviewer) but none of the toilet paper was damaged (squished a bit but not torn).

And, it is rated higher than Kirkland by others — and I agree. This is my only brand. at least for the many years it will take me to ever use this huuge carton. LOL.

First off, the mega roll does not fit in a regular toilet paper holder because it’s so huge. I have one that is inset in the wall and after some pushing it went in but then we couldn’t roll it hahaha! So typically for the first day of use we keep it on the bathroom counter until it gets small enough to fit comfortably and we can roll it without individual sheets tearing off.

So if you have a toilet paper holder like mine, don’t get the mega roll. Now, onto the toilet paper itself. Our family is used to using single-ply so it was an interesting change to Cottonelle. Will we run through a roll quickly by using more sheets than necessary as we habitually do with the single-ply? I’d say that because Cottonelle is so thick we actually use less per use and one roll lasts about as long as our old brand.

It’s very absorbent but after weeks of use find it’s a bit rough on the skin. Not sure if the ripples really make a difference but it does make it feel like it’s thicker. It leaves behind lint (very important!) and it does tear occasionally during more intense wiping, especially if the ripples are held horizontally, they act like a tear point.

Overall, it’s okay but we prefer something softer and not linty. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I started using Cottonelle Ultra CleanCare toilet paper during the pandemic. When the shelves were bare and you had to buy whatever toilet paper you could find, no matter what brand it was. These mega rolls are nice and big.

I love how soft this toilet paper is. I like that it isn’t thin and it didn’t tear into pieces while using it. It’s very absorbent and thick. It uses strong cleaning ripple texture that helps get the job done.

You use less, making the rolls last even longer than other brands. This is the softest most effective toilet paper I’ve ever tried that I won’t buy any other brand. I can’t believe I didn’t try this sooner.

I definitely recommend Cottonelle to others. Besides being 3 × stronger and 2 × more absorbent, it’s septic safe and won’t clog up your septic tank. This toilet paper is biodegradable and made with water and renewable plant-based fibers.

They source materials that meet strict standards to protect forests and animals. Great product for sensitive skin.

I gave this product a 5 star rating b/c of it’s value and quality. I was surprised when it arrived. I had to purchase it online due to my nearest Walmart not carrying in their store. I have a family of 3.

We use quite a bit of toilet paper at times. One roll lasts us one day. Sometimes we use two rolls. Panda toilet paper is just like Charmin. I doesn’t stick to you and it doesn’t clog the toilet. like other brand have.

It’s also soft and thick. I will definitely purchase this product again.

12 mega rolls for my bathroom they’re soft and strong (don’t irritate). Has a fluffy side. Try it! I recommend this product. Costco.

I was a little hesitant about buying this since i’m not familiar with the brand, but it was cheaper than what i normally buy, and my husband likes the “rough” cheap toilet paper anyways. but when i got it I was actually really surprised at how soft it is! and it’s really durable.

I have used Kirkland toilet paper for years but it was getting hard to find for awhile and they were constantly changing the product due to supply shortages. Then, I found this at Target! It might be even better.

I don’t care for the “soft and strong” or “ultra soft” toilet papers that leave lint EVERYWHERE. This one is still absorbent and strong without being too thin or too fluffy, and I find I use less of it than some other brands.

One roll lasts awhile. Oh, and it’s not too big to fit on the toilet paper holder either.

i refuse to use any other brand. i’ve tried several different types, as a person who has an overactive stomach, and i always come back to target’s soft & strong. it’s soft enough that you can use it several wipes in a row without chaffing.

it’s strong enough that you don’t need a big wad of paper at once. even the cardboard tube that comes inside the toilet paper is great (we let our pup rip it up or use it as a treat hider)!.
