The day after installing this RokForm mount on my 2019 Harley Road King, I rode 721 miles from central Arizona to the Rocky Mountains. Two days later I rode 785 miles back. The mount kept my iPhone in view with no vibration the entire way out and back (I have a external battery back in my windshield bag).

I had zero issues. The mount is frigging solid and performed better than I imagined it would.

I mounted this on my 2013 Harley Davidson softail slim and it works great! I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I bought the case for this mount also and its all just perfect. I never worry about losing the phone, it snaps in tight, the magnet is very strong! I did not bother putting the lanyard on but I like that it is included for just in case times.

The phone does not shake or anything while riding. It is fully adjustable left, right, backwards and forwards. It is mounted clutch side and can still reach all the controls when vertical. It is a bit tight reaching the high beams but is well worth it!.

I purchased this based on reviews and was I ever pleasantly surprised. First, they supply some tape to go around your handlebars to protect the finish, nice touch. Then a sleeve that goes over that for more protection and provide a stable platform for the mount.

Then the mount which itself is extremely well made. Heavy, yet solid, and very flexible to your desired riding position. The directions were very clear and the whole assembly took about 10 mins. (It would have been 5 mins but it’s been hot here in Nevada and I was sure I heard an ice cold MGD calling me from the fridge).

When installed I took it for a test ride. Not using the optional straps, I hit 85 mph on the freeway and the mount didn’t move a bit! In short, this is the mount you need. Take my word for it, you can thank me later!.

I recently decided to put a phone mount on my Sportster. I looked at the various phone mounts out there, and Tackform’s design stood out as the simplest and most compact design. When I received my mount, I was impressed with the quality construction.

It is really built to last, yet the cost was comparable or less than their competitors, and some of those other designs were downright ugly. The phone clamp gets a very good grip on my iPhone SE (the little 1st-gen) and it feels like the extra rubber straps are not necessary (although I like the extra assurance).

When the phone is off the mount, the mount doesn’t draw much attention. I really like the design and I can’t think of any way they could improve it. It wasn’t cheap but I think the price is reasonable for such quality and good design.

I don’t even use the supplied rubber security net on the reverse side and it’s rock solid! I will highly recommend this to my friends and family! My brother just ordered one for his new streetglide as well.

Disclaimer: I have only owned this product for a couple months so this review is of my initial thoughts, as well as the first handful of uses. So far, I am very pleased with this product. I was drawn to Rokform because of the smaller design profile.

I ride a street fighter (Triumph Speed Triple) so I didn’t want to crowd the bars too much. I was able to setup the mount in the exact configuration I wanted to keep the low profile look on my handlebars (setup so the phone is horizontal, directly above the ignition).

For the way it looks, it meets the expectations I had before buying. In terms of performance, it seems to be manufactured quite well. In the short amount of time I’ve had it, it doesn’t show any signs of deterioration or design flaws that would shorten its life.

I hope to update this review after a full season of riding to confirm this. When actually mating the phone to the mount, the magnet makes it a bit tricky because of its strength; the magnet engages before I can properly seat the locking mechanism in place.

After some time, I don’t see this as something that will remain an issue as I will likely figure out whatever trick is needed to seamlessly mount the phone. I have not adjusted the mount at all since installing it and the regular vibrations from riding have not loosened any of the fasteners so far.

The phone itself does not move at all when it is attached to the mount (I used the lanyard included with the mount for the first few rides, but ultimately decided it was not necessary). Overall, this product is something I would be willing to vouch for to someone I know personally.

The magnets on this thing. WOW. So I bought the handlebar mount for my motorcycle because Rockform was THE recommended phone mount for motorcycles. I see why. The handlebar mount itself is simple but sturdy, and comes with 3 different sized sleeves to enable a secure fit on pretty much all standard diameter handlebars.

But the mount isn’t what I love most about my purchase. I bought the Rockform case for my S21 Ultra to use the mount, and that is the BEST phone case I have ever bought. At first I thought it was a little over priced but I have been pleasantly surprised with my purchase.

First of all, having a case built to lock into a phone mount is BRILLIANT and I’m surprised I don’t see this kind of mount/case design more frequently. Second, as I mentioned before; THE MAGNETS. The case itself has 2 magnets, one towards the bottom which is ULTRA STRONG and the other is built into the popout piece for the mount lock around center back of the phone.

Not as strong as the permanent magnet bottom, but still a VERY STRONG magnet. When I pop it out to use my mount I stick it on my refridgerator and never lose the thing. When I’m working in the kitchen, I often will throw some Netflix on my phone and stick that hulky 6.

9″ diagonal screen with the 5,000 mAh battery up on the side of my stainless steel fridge and that bulky phone just STAYS. Doesn’t slide around or anything. I’ve used the magnets to put my phone places I would have never thought to place it and it is by far my favorite feature.

You can seriously just put your phone anywhere that has magnetized metal on it. The ONLY downside to these magnets: Your S Pen won’t work with the case on. That’s right; if you’re a sad fan of the note line (RIP) like me and decided to grab that new S Pen this year when you switched to the Only Galaxy That Will Allow It, be prepared to take the case off whenever you’re taking notes or drawing or using air commands.

The magnets on the case are probably thousands of times stronger than the magnet that makes your S pen work. But that’s a pretty small sacrifice for all the amazing places I’ve been able to just stick my phone.

The lanyard is nice also, and provides an extra layer of security but it honestly isn’t necessary and I mostly skip using mine altogether unless I’m planning to be riding for a long distance. Worth every penny in my opinion.

I had this attached to the handlebar of my 2016 HD Breakout FXSB motorcycle for nearly a year and a half. I have never had any problems with it keeping my phone in place. This is extremely easy to mount to the handlebar and easy to attach as well as remove your phone.

I also have the crystal Rokform case for my Samsung Galaxy S20 plus. On Oct 20 of 2021 I was in an accident on my motorcycle which totaled my back. The front end of my motorcycle sustained all of the damage.

I was shown pictures of my motorcycle that were taken at the accident site. This was still attached to my handlebar with my phone still in place!!! I was amazed. I MOST DEFINITELY recommend Rokform phone mount systems and cases.

I don’t care about the price because they are worth every penny.

These little babies are just amazing!! I don’t use my top vents, because I can’t stand it blowing in my face. I put it on the vent to the right of my steering wheel and it is perfect! My phone has never fallen off, the clip has never came off.

I have a galaxy S20 Ultra and combined with the Rugged Case (magnet is very heavy), the weight is too much for the dash mount. The magnet in the case is extremely useful. Also due to the size of the phone, I can accidentally create enough torque to twist the dash mount off the dash while trying to lock the phone to the mount.

(The double sided tape remains attached to the dash, but separates from the mount). The design of the mount is good (+4 stars), just my phone is too big for it (-1 star). Might need to design a mount with a larger contact surface for larger phones.

This is the fourth Roklock Dash Mount that I have purchased. These are great. They don’t move and the only reason I have replaced them is because I had changed vehicles and they are very hard to remove.

I have not had any problem with them coming loose from the dash. They are a great quality and show no wear after years of use.

The V-shaped grooves in the inner sides of the holder prevent the phone from pivoting in the mount, as it did in a similar lower-cost design with flat inner sides, that I previously owned. Also the rubber inserts in the V-grooves are gentle on the phone sides and very grippy.

The metal part of the side clamps does not touch the sides of the phone even under the strong pressure from the springs. The springs and the metal rods, which are the most important part for a secure clamping, are much thicker than the regular car/selfie stick holders; no problem on the motorcycle handlebars with vibration or sliding.

I found the rubber sling unnecessary. I like that the V-grooves are spaced sufficiently away from the bottom of the clamp as to accommodate my thick phone case, plus a thin waterproof pouch. However, a universal adapter from SP-connect, fitted on the back of the case, or the SP-connect universal waterproof case will not fit in this clamp.

I tried, as I own now both clamps, and I was trying to find the best waterproofing solution. The springs are so strong that you need a very firm grip of the phone if you insert / extract it with one hand.

No signs of damage to the phone, though. The 1-inch ball is rubber coated, and mine came with a slight oval shape (not a perfect sphere). However, the fit in the RAM socket is nearly perfect, no problem here.

The rubber is a bit harder than the original RAM ball rubber compound, however very grippy. Similar machined alu balls (uncoated) from other manufacturers were sliding in the alu RAM sockets. The mount is very discreet if left on the bars.

Unlike my previously owned RAM X-grip, RAM QuickGrip XL, GIVI waterproof universal XL. Overall, very pleased. Expensive, but currently the only clamp of this sort with such quality and security.

Tackform motorcycle mount is on point. This is a cleaner looking and stronger mount compared my old RAM Xgrip. There are no rubber pieces to come loose that hold your phone in place and it can hold any phone with ease that i put in there.

I’ll recommend this mount to anyone who is looking for a quality mount. Also service all around is outstanding too!!!! Keep it up Tackform.

I have been using X brand for several years now and it worked great then I upgraded motorcycles. After having to catch my phone midair as it flew out of the mount twice, I hate the inconvenience of the four cornered rubber band.

I had to do something different! The Tacform is very different. My phone goes in with one hand and is gripped very securely! It to comes with the rubber band but have not found a circumstance yet when it was necessary on the new Triumph 900 Tiger.

I like it so I ordered another for my Harley Ultra Classic Limited.

This mount is super-strong and sturdy and that is what you pay for. It stays where you place it and is rock solid. I have two of these mounts. The first one I have had for maybe two years. Recently it has fallen off twice when the windscreen was very hot in the sun.

I was able to reattach it with no problem. A design feature I would like to see changed is the turn knob for attaching. When the bracket is close to the dash it can be very difficult to get your hand in to turn it.

I have had to position the bracket higher than I would have liked because of this.

RAM MOUNTS smart phone mounts are definitely more expensive, however when you consider the quality os what you get they are a bargain and a worthwhile investment. I have a larger iPhone 6plus in a thick Otterbox Defender case.

I need the protection of the case which made finding a compatible suction cup mount nearly impossible. The RAM MOUNT X-Grip holder seemed to be my only option which initially disappointed me as it was much more expensive than most other mounts.

When I unboxed I quickly realized it was a bargain. First the X mount securely grips larger smartphones or smaller tablets either by themselves or in a thick case such as mine. The X-grip mechanism securely holds my phone plus it is not dedicated to the dimensions of a single model.

When I upgrade I will not need a new mount. Most importantly every component of this mount is built like a tank. The suction mechanism grips and releases easily and hold the windshield tight with no fuss.

The center strut that screws tight around the adjustable ball mounts is solid cast metal, it will not wear out or warp for a very very long time. The plastic components are made of a very solid high density plastic, nothing feels cheap about it.

Assembly was quick and easy, just screwing the mount to the suction cup mechanism and using the adhesive provided to glue the rubber X-mount tips on (I assume to allow the user to adjust them if necessary).

Taking it on and off is as simple as flicking a switch on the suction cup mount. I cannot imaging as better designed or sturdier built mount for a larger smartphone.

The RAM products are exceptional quality. I have had a mount for my iPad for some time (we travel using HEMA Explorer to track where we’ve been and to navigate) and it has been fantastic. Now I have bought the phone holder which is similarly hassle free.

I do find the X mount a tiny bit cumbersome to use, hence the 4 rather than 5 star rating, but my phone is, for the first time, truly securely mounted. Highly recommended.

Wow I’ve been though at least 4 cheaper phone mounts but I should have just bought this Ram twist lock phone mount and not worried a sec longer. It’s so strong and easy to use. My S10 5G ain’t no dainty phone so I don’t want it to go flying out the window or into a Pass ages when I am on a twisty road.

This suits me just fine and is worth every cent. So don’t skimp and get this one first and save yourself a lot of headaches replacing phone holders that fail over time.

I always try multiple car phone holders and they always are made out of plastic or some chip material that never last and never stay still or hold my devices, and I was sick of wasting money. !!! NOT ANYMORE !!! Bulletpoint is the solution and a very good one.

Nicely done, Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions (BMS)! This is the cellphone mount to get! It frees up my cup holders and don’t even bother mentioning those cheap holders that squeeze into your heat and a/c vents (garbage).

This mount rocks, BMS! I found a YouTube video on its installation and followed that to a T. I must admit, I believe I got ‘lucky’ with finding the mounting/screw holes once it was on my dash, but I did.

The 3M tape, the quality of all the hardware – all grade A. I did decide to upgrade to a 10cm mounting arm, but other than that, this is a one-time purchase! Unless it gets stolen, this one’s going to last you for a looong time.

***UPDATE*** After posting my review I received multiple inquiries from Offroam. They gave the standard advice as expected and offered to replace it. It wasn’t this that impressed me, it was the expediency that they reached out.

That made me feel like they took my critique seriously as well as the product they make. I put my mount back on, and drove my pickup down a dirt road to camp. The road I was on was in extremely poor condition and I thought if this falls off, this would be the road to make it happen on.

Six miles of four wheel drive later and it was still on. Six miles out and it was still on. When I came back to the real world I had another email from offroam asking how the product was doing. They have a solid customer service team and they very clearly are interested in making sure their products meet the customer expectation.

Upgrading this to five stars. —-Original Post—- When I received the phone mount kit, I installed it and it was very easy. After about two weeks though it fell off. So I reinstalled it and after driving for about fifteen minutes it fell off again.

I reinstalled it a third time and before I could even leave the garage it fell off again. I want to like the concept and idea of the mount and its easy non-intrusive/non-destructive install. But the mount doesn’t even hold up to normal driving, so I can’t imagine how it could hold up to any four wheel driving.

The phone clamp seems sturdy enough and works great. The mounting mechanism, not so much.

Update (+1 star!): I received the updated holder (the part that actually clamps to your phone) from the kind folks at Offroam, and it is night and day compared to the original version. Way easier for one hand operation, but still feels very secure.

Since the mount to the air vent is so solid, this is a very satisfying to quickly and easily slip your phone onto. With this improvement, I don’t think you can get a better phone mount that installs so cleanly and easily! Original: Attractive and secure; easy to install; very much worth the purchase.

I’ve been using this for about 6mo and am very happy with it. Holds the phone securely enough that I can insert a USB cable into the phone without it budging. I agree with a previous reviewer that the only ding is the tightness of the sliding clip which seems very much geared towards rough roads; and in those conditions, this is a strength.

I’ve gotten used to cheaper (quality), plastic phone holders in the past that allow me to easily secure and remove my phone with one hand. The provided clip in the Offroam requires two hands to safely remove your phone.

I inadvertently removed my phone single-handed a few times and I applied enough force to open the clip that the whole unit slipped off the vent — I do not recommend this. I have not tried the newer, softer sprung clip, so my comments might be outdated here.

Overall, very happy with this purchase and I would recommend to any Tacoma owner.

This holder works great! I previously had a Amazon high rated holder made by iOttie that sat on the top of my dash and used a suction cup to attach. Where the suction attached to the plastic mount piece they use a spring I guess to compress the suction cup when you push the lever down to hold it in place.

This is a weak connection and my phone would bounce up and down when I would ride on a somewhat rough surface. NOT ANYMORE! With this ProClip holder and mounting system there is NO MORE phone bouncing and I LOVE IT! That problem was really driving me nuts and it is fixed all because of ProClip.

I was so looking forward to installing this newest ProClips cell phone Mount in my new 2022 C8 Corvette as I had installed similar ProClip mounts in my previous four C7 Corvettes and loved them. I am not disappointed.

The new C8 mount is easy peasy to install (I am mechanically challenged yet I DID IT!) and one of the only lack-of-great-design issues the C8 has is FIXED! No longer is my iPhone unreachable while driving (stuck in clutches of the inaccessible to humans “holder” behind center console).

I have had my share of cell phone holders in my vehicles, the main problem was none were sturdy. Some rattled, some vibrated, some took up one of my cupholders, the one thing they all had in common was none of them were perfect.

I stumbled on ProClip on day on the internet and found out that they were vehicle Specific which intrigued me. So I read about the different designs and decided on the console mount for my Silverado, and ordered it.

It’s sturdy, it doesn’t vibrate, it doesn’t rattle, and I have 2 cup holders again which makes the wife happy! A little difficult to install, patience is the only tool required. They offer several different mounting configurations that would just about cover all preferences.

Most reliable phone holder for my car I saw when researching car holders for purchase which seems to be the case once it arrived. When paired with the Center Dash Mount (reviewed 5 Stars elsewhere) it is the best option I saw for mounting my iPhone 12 Pro Max in my 2012 Mini Countryman S.

Easy to adjust. Obviously sturdily constructed. I would say the hardest part of installation was putting on the Center Dash Mount where the insertion paddle needs to be used to pry two dash plastic surfaces apart to hook the mounting portion of the Dash Mount into that crack.

Once there this produces a very sturdy mounting platform for this Phone Holder.

This is the most convenient, best quality, most ergonomic, and best looking option available. I have tried 3 other phone holders in truck and they were all way less stable and forced me to reach way over to use the phone.

They were all mostly plastic and bounced around when going over bumps. This is insanely well made, installs brilliantly, and does not interfere with the vent. I also like it being in front of the vent as it can be cooled by the ac in the summer and it allows a full view of the head deck screen.

This literally could not be designed better. I can install and Remove my iPhone 13 pro max with one hand and I would have to roll the truck for it to pop out of the holder. Great job on this design and build from a finicky customer.

This is the best phone mount and holder I have ever purchased. I have purchased low($15)and mid($40) cost level ones in the past and while they do work, they also break or rattle while driving done a normal road.

Yes, this is a custom mount that is built to last. The phone holder is easy to put your phone in and out with one hand. There is no plastic parts on this product. Yes, the cost is $85 shipped, but it is totally worth the extra money.

You will never have to buy another mount or holder for that vehicle ever again. Unless it’s another one for your wife’s side of the vehicle. Just wish you made a custom one for my wife’s 2018 Nissan Rogue.

I bought this Ram mount system for a trip out to the east coast with the specific purpose of using this mount to hold my phone so I could use my GPS navigator. It mounted to my Roadking bars without any issues and I was pleasantly surprised at the spring tension built into the unit.

The clamping force was fantastic and it held by device securely in place without any doubts that I had made the right purchase. This mounting system combined with a waterproof hard case worked well beyond my expectations.

Construction zones, pot holes and rough terrain were no match for this mounting system. If I had to speak of any negative aspect of this mounting system, it would be that I wished the folks at Ram made a clip on sun shield of some sort to cast a shadow over the mount.

My phone screen was hard to see at times due to sun reflections but that was expected. Final statement is this, it’s not very often a product over exceeds your expectations but this one did and I don’t regret buying it.

Bravo Ram for making a product that doesn’t disappoint.

Good quality cell/GPS mount as you can expect from RAM. The base and the horns support are made from plastic, the rest is metal. The balls are rubber to absorb the vibrations. The product came with no RAM box or packaging.

In the fortune box were just 3 plastic bags: one the RAM Quick-Grip, another with the screws/bolts and L shape horns, and a third one with the support arm and the U shape bolts to attach it to the motorcycle handlebar.

The instructions are useless and it came with a RAM brochure/advertising of their other products. I’ve watched a video on YouTube in order to put it together. The mount is solid and robust. It looks easy to put and remove the phone from the mount with one hand.

It has the flexibility to put the L shape side horns where you want so they do not interfere with the phone buttons. There are 6 places to put the 4 horns the mount comes with. It seems that it will be ok for my iPhone XR with the case.

That’s why I’ve bought the XL RAM Quick-Grip. The support with the ball came with the paint scratched. I don’t know if it is a previously returned product. You can see the close-up in one of the photos.

I didn’t put the U shape mount on the handlebar yet. I’m thinking about putting some kind of cloth to protect the handlebar chrome. I will update this review once I start using it.

I have been looking for a phone mount that you do not have to screw in tape on suction cup, magnet etc. and I came across someone who had the pro clip mount on their Toyota Corolla hatchback. I just bought a brand new 2022 Corolla Cross and want everything to look clean and professional.

I occasionally use the vehicle for Uber and Lyft so needed to be able to see the phone maps and apps easily. Pro clip together screwed together within minutes and after a quick adjustment I was able to put my iPhone 13 Pro securely to the left of my 8 inch video display.

It is in perfect view as to not interfere with anything else and utilize the small space there perfectly. I can’t imagine having a better mount for my application thanks.

This mount is the one to go with. I have a 2020 Toyota Tundra and mounting options are challenging to say the least. Wasnt happy with cup holder mounts, the magnets didnt stick and vent holders block much needed airflow in the Florida heat.

That left me trying ProClip and WOW! This is ideal. As long as you like the mounting location(Up higher in driving view), then you will love it. Its incredibly sturdy, holds phone perfectly in both landscape and vertical.

Does what it says and was super easy to install. Overall, incredibly happy with my choice and will go with them again on all future vehicles.

Another excellent product from Rokform. The Belt Clip integrates perfectly with the exceptional Rokform phone cases, and is obviously constructed with the finest materials in accordance with its genius design.

It is very easy to attach to a belt, backpack, or anything else you wanted to attach to your mobile phone for carrying purposes. Undoubtedly, the steel belt clip is an outstanding product that will far outlive the phone it is attached to, and it fully satisfies its design purpose.

When you first pick up the new Sport Belt Clip for your Rokform case, you will realize from the weight and feel alone that it is a sturdy, solid belt clip that eclipses a huge percentage of more generic, plastic belt clips on the market.

This is truly something that will never break nor bend easily under even stressful conditions. Add to that the typically solid grip of the RokLok design, and the only way you’ll lose your phone will be if your belt splits first.

Aesthetically, a very handsome, polished design with thoughtful features like a removable RokLok for replacement, a very handy built-in folding stand for propping up your phone in portrait or landscape, a hole for attaching wrist lanyards, and even a bottle opener in one corner (!) for emergency beer purposes.

The wealth of features and build quality makes this a worthwhile purchase justifying its price. Highly recommended by a very pleased buyer.

Fits perfect !!! I’ve used the cheap phone holders that attach to the vents for years … I’ve also had to deal with broken vents or trying to catch it or find it on my floorboard when a pothole knocks it lose … ProClipUSA are geniuses!! Lol … got some numbers, built things to custom fit without causing damage … and it looks nice.

They even sent me 2 on accident … I called to have one sent back. and they said “Just keep it, give it to a friend”. Great product, great customer service.

My only complaint with ProClip is the price; in my opinion, such a simple device just feels a bit overpriced. One must purchase both the dash mount and the individual holder for the device itself, which together sets one back roughly $100.

However, there is truly no competition; this is by far the most capable and resilient phone mounting solution on the market. Extremely sturdy and sharp-looking, without the need for any complex or permanent installation (which was ideal for my leased vehicle).

As far as the product itself, I have no complaints.

I have purchased so many different types of phone holders for my car over the years, but none of them have ever been quite right. They blocked the vent, or didn’t hold the phone steady enough, or did not hold the phone in the best position for viewing.

Wasted money! The ProClip may be more expensive, but when I think of how much I’ve spent on others combined, this is a bargain compared to that! Also, I have a pop socket on my phone, and this holder has enough room to accommodate it! It holds my phone securely, and in the perfect viewing position! Time to stop thinking about it and just get it!.

The instillation is straight forward and relativly easy. The cellphone holder, keeps the phone secure and easy to see with out distraction while driving. I was concerned when I purchaced it that it may block my air conditioning vents, in which case I whoud have returned it.

However I positioned the mount in the middle of my dashboard between the two vents, thereby alowing full air flow. This is my second purchase from ProClip, I also have a mount for my phone in my Corvette which I am very pleased with.

I enjoy that they fit as if they came in the cars from the factory.

The adjustable IPhone Holder for my Iphone 13 Plus. is incredible. It is very well built and strong and hold the phone in place with ease. I have never had a holder this quality. The design for the F150 truck is a perfect fit and for the first time ever.

my phone is not blocking the air vent and that is important when you live the extreme heat of Texas. Wow, what a product. If it breaks one day, I will buy another immediatley, but, i doubt it will ever break.
