Best Park In Disney World For Adults (2024 Updated)

It has some brilliant info on going to Disney World that’s useful, even for seasoned fans like us. My only complaint would be that it’s written with Americans in mind instead of us British visitors. Otherwise, love it.

A very useful guide packed with snippets of information. It could however use more illustrations, photographs etc hence the four-star rating. A great book, ideal for anyone travelling to Walt Disney World.

I have not finished reading through this book, but, I already know it is chocked full of very useful information. Things only people who have been there before and those who know behinds the scenes recommendations.

What a find!.

This book is full of negative opinions on the parks and not a lot of practical advice. As a Disney fanatic, I was disappointed that I didn’t get more inside scoop.

First, whoever the Target warehouse worker was that triple boxed this item so it would arrive in a flawless Funko Collectible box. well done. It’s not often that a Funko Pop from a big box store arrives in mint condition.

This one did. Which was awesome. And makes this next part of the review so cringe. This Funko is obscene. It’s almost like the folks At Funko Corporate up in Washington had a bunch of extra boxes and said “Hey, how big is the castle and Mickey again? Oh, they are only half the size of the boxes we already have in-stock and paid for? Whatever, just put them in those boxes and get ’em out the door”.

There is a 2″ air gap at the bottom of the packaging and a 3″ air gap at the top of the packaging. The overall box for the castle and Mickey is the equivalent of 8 (EIGHT!!!) standard size Funko Pop’s in a rectangular arrangement.

You know the Funko Pop’s in the “Rides” lineup that feature a vehicle and a character? Yeah, this one is 2x the size of those. Literally, DOUBLE the size of those already-large “Rides” Pops. So, yeah, if you are a collector that displays in-box.

good luck leasing an extra room for this one. Bottomline: way bigger than you think it is. I shoulda read the dimensions but didn’t, assumed it would be like every other Funko, and was jarred when it showed up in a cardboard box that took up half my front patio.

I have purchased this castle pop 3 times trying to get one that is in good shape but so far 3 strikes I’m out. The tower on all three are bent and not able to make it straight. On one the top front window was so disfigured it looked like a funhouse mirror, twited and squashed.

With all the good reviews I guess others aren’t having these issues, not sure how I’m so unlucky. The idea is great , just wish Funko quality control was better on this one.

I cannot begin to describe my confusion or disappointment. It’s literally Sleeping Beauty’s Castle from Disneyland. It’s packaged in Disney World 50th packaging, and is labeled as such on the receipt- but the model is 100% NOT Cinderella Castle from Disney World.

We carried this book around in the parks last week! Our 11 year old loved reading it and flagging it with post it notes, making lists of things she wanted to be sure to do. It was current and engaging.

As we traveled to the parks she played the “Guess who?” games with us from the book. It was presented in large enough print with lots of pictures to keep the interest of young and older readers alike.

The parks are changing a lot right now, so we were pleased that this book was pretty up-to-date. Well worth the money. A great “souvenir” to keep as a memoir of our trip, as well.

Such a great book for my child, it generated a lot of excitement leading up to the trip!

This was a present for my Grandson!! According to my daughter, he carries it around with him all the time. They are headed to Disney next year.

This makes a great book for any Disney fan. But it’s more than a book – it has trivia, fun games and all sorts of fun. Nice large print swelling.

Easy read fun facts. Love it. Loved the puzzle and how each land has hidden Mickey

I haven’t opened but anything Disney is good in my book. We’ve been waiting over 2 years to go so this will help build some excitement

Parks is a wonderful gaming experience. The artwork is gorgeous, the game is well designed, and everything from the fantastic box inlay to the custom wooden log counter storage containers has been made with care and attention.

The game is simple to learn – you move your hikers along the trail (always forward, never backwards), collecting the game’s resources (water, trees, mountains and sunshine) as you go. Each trail location performs a different action (such as providing a resource, taking a photo or swapping resources from one type to another), and your goal is to collect the resources required to visit one of the four available national parks.

Once a park is visited, it is replaced with a new one, and different parks score varying numbers of points depending on how difficult it is to obtain the required resources. The game is split into four rounds (matching the four seasons), and gear cards and canteen can be obtained during your hikes to grant you extra abilities.

At the end of each round, a new trail location is added to the existing ones which are mixed, meaning that the order is different each time. The game perfectly balances its serene artwork with an ever-so-slightly tense game, where you have to carefully select each move you make, as you only have so many in the game.

The game has a relatively small footprint on the table, and really is a joy from start to finish. Easy enough for most people to pick up and play, but with enough depth for seasoned gamers to enjoy. Highly recommended.

This is a fun, easy to learn game where you get to go hiking and visit the national parks even when you can’t go anywhere because of the pandemic. All of the components of the game are nicely done, the artwork, the little wooden tokens, the earthy color tones, and a compact compartmentalized box to store everything in.

The most common negative comment I’ve read about this game before I purchased it was that the instructions were not well written, hard to follow, or confusing. I didn’t let that deter me from buying it.

And I actually found the instructions to be well organized and easy to follow. You do have to take the time to read it though. I would further recommend that you do not watch YouTube videos to learn how to play it.

I’ve seen some of those videos and, in some of them, they weren’t following all the rules correctly, which I know only because I read the rule book. This is a very family friendly game. There are no scary monsters, and no fighting involved.

Everyone is just enjoying their hike, taking pictures, and trying to visit as many national parks as they can. It also has a great solo mode. So you can still get a game in even if you’re by yourself practicing social distancing from everyone else.

But don’t worry. In this game, you play as two hikers, so you’ll have some company as you hike. lol Just buy it.

Great game for my wife and myself to play. We typically stick to cooperative or less competitive games and I think this one hits the mark perfectly balancing both a casual stroll through the game board while also needing to constantly adapt your strategy to take in to account where other players are exploring at any given time.

The art is absolutely gorgeous and we found ourselves flipping through the parks at the end of our game just admiring the diversity. Another huge plus for us is easy setup/teardown and wonderful gametrayz that were engineered to fit in the box perfectly.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a game that is as much eye candy as it is fun to play. With 2 people once you know how to play I see this being a 30-45minute game.

Beautiful book and a quality product. Brings back memories of the park Walt and his team built. And teaches the unfamiliar a good overview of its history and design.

This book has it all -colorful photos, great content and will bring a smile!

This book is educational and well made. The images throughout are in high resolution. The historical and personal stories are wonderful. The book is thick and large, making it worth the price. Loaded with lots of interesting information from finding and purchasing the WDW property to the 50th anniversary celebration, it is filled with the timeline of Walt’s vision, including how he helped sell the park before it was ever constructed and his vision for the future of the park.

Great buy!.

Very good size castle and an affordable model. But unfortunately its not super accurate to Sleeping Beautys castle in Disneyland. The product was mostly grey with barely any pink visible. The actual castle has two shades of pink on the stucco and much a much darker sparkly blue on the roof tiles.

They also missed much of the gold detailing.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves Disney and Mickey Mouse. I am sure hes going to love it.

This is the best book I’ve found about hidden stuff at Disney. My family and I take it every time we go. Some things I haven’t been able to find but, when I do find one, it is so exciting. I have been to Disney World numerous times and this book is one of the things that keeps it so exciting.

I bought this book looking for a little insider info on the Disney Parks, and this book really delivers! I have enjoyed every minute of reading this book. It is so interesting! It includes tidbits of information and details that probably most everyone fails to notice when visiting the Parks.

If you love Disney, this book is for you!.

It is a helpful book even for those who have been to Disney a number of times. I just recommend getting the newest publication of this book, as Disney changes year to year

Received this along with a few other funkos. Wow. Just wow. The way they packaged all the Funkos is SUPERB. I wondering why the box was super big/spacious for a 6″ model. THEY WRAP THE DISPLAY BOX IN SUPER CUSHION-Y BUBBLE MAILER to protect the actual Funko.

I love they thought of this. No bent corners on the box: perfect condition when they all arrived. 5/5 Stars.

Another great edition to any Disney park lover. Especially when we cant get to the parks due to travel restrictions.

The mini disney castle was definitely worth it! It was so fun to build and the colours looked absolutely fabulous! There is lots of fine details within the castle walls but they are covered so its hard to see.

I personally believe that the age recommendation for this build is definitely set way to high is was rather easy to construct and could be done by someone younger. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND RATHER A GOOD TIME CONSUMER WHEN BORED;).

This is a great item to have for a Disney Lover. What is nice is that it is mini size compared to the HUGE one Lego has had on the market for some time that is also the castle. The larger one was just too much size wise and price range but this mini one is just perfect.

What a perfect buy! The mini disney castle is such a good piece to build and have around the house. Still very detailed for a small version of the disney castle.

Great book for anyone that is going to Disney world for the first time or a regular. Information is great when booking dining or attractions. Picture quality is outstanding and reviews are very helpful while planning and prioritizing.

You won’t be disappointed after purchasing this book. Light weight so very easy to travel with, doesn’t take up a lot of room so it is a must take when you go or if you just like reading about Disney and dream this is a great book to read and flip through.

Birnbaum’s travel guides are always the best; Walt Disney World is no exception. The book covers everything. Plus adds information you may not have known. We go about every two years to WDW and always buy and read Birnbaum’s book first.

Another great Disney movie. It is especially meaning full if you are very familiar with the ride of the same name at DisneyLand. They did a very good job relating to the ride. It is a very entertaining film with an all star cast.

It is full of action and adventure. I would recommend this to anyone that is a fan of action movies. It is a fantastic presentation in 4K Ultra HD. This case sleeve is also very well designed and full of great artwork.

This is a great movie for casual fans and movie collectors alike.

This movie is one you will watch many times. I do not say that lightly, I have many movies in my collection and this one is impressive. Story line, graphics, and you feel like you are on the trip with the characters.

Just an FYI, yes I love Jason Bourne, Bond movies, but this is a light hearted fun to watch movie with a lot of intrigue and a interesting science ending on the solution. Easy to watch with younger children.

Poor attempt by Disney to capture the magic in Pirates of the Caribbean. The Problem: No Charisma, Humor or Good Chemistry. just CGI special effects. I love Emily Blunt, but she cannot carry this movie all by herself.

Needs far better script and supporting cast. Give it three stars for average movie with special effects.

When the Magic Keys (replacement for annual passes) went on sale this year, I decided I’d save a bit of money by using discounted gift cards. By using the Target Red Card, I was able to purchase the Disney gift cards with a 5% discount.

Because $500 is the largest denomination one can purchase, I needed to buy several cards in various amounts to get what I needed to cover the cost of the pass. The trick is to register all of your gift cards on the Disney Gift Card site and then combine them, because Disney will only accept a single gift card when you purchase your pass online.

You also need to write down the full card number from the Target gift card page, because the Disney Gift Card page doesn’t show the full number for security reasons. So, don’t delete those Target emails with the links to your gift card, because you may find yourself having to go back and get the card account number before you make the purchase.

These cards were so convenient for our recent Disney vacation! Disney is expensive, so any bit of money you can save is great–5% off with RedCard is a good deal! I bought a few physical Disney giftcards in store before we went to Florida, and when we used them up quite quickly, I ordered digital versions and transferred them to the physical cards we had.

I knocked off a star for two reasons–couldn’t buy these on the go through the Target app because you’re required to retype your RedCard number when making a gift card purchase. This wouldn’t be such a big deal normally, but it was slightly annoying when I’d be in the parks trying to top up on my gift card balance; I was only carrying gift cards and my ID and didn’t have my RedCard on me.

The other challenge was that delivery of the virtual gift card usually took a few hours, so I’d end up only being able to purchase cards at the hotel and then would have to wait until the next morning to transfer balances.

I am still so happy I used these cards but I wish I’d known beforehand. 🙂 Transferring balances is also incredibly easy, so in the end we were all good!.

Disney Parks are amazing for all ages!! I bought $1000 gift cards (max) for our family. You must go to one website to combine 2 or more gift card amounts before buying Disney tickets with one combined card amount on final gift card.

You need to present all the gift cards at the gate & credit card you bought them with, so 2-$500 was easier, but savings from 8 could have been done with bit more time spent entering the codes. Walt Disney site accepts one gift card amt (after you move them to one card) plus if necessary one credit or debit card.

Buy early, so you can get them by mail from Sam’s and get your Fast Track rides set up 30-60 days before you go. (Avatar rides fill up first at Animal Kingdom). You can choose Fast Track picks for shows or rides 60 days in advance if staying at Disney accommodations and 30 days in advance if staying elsewhere.

We loved our trip to Disney World! However, looking back, we should have used Fast Track to shorten ride lines, the shows have thousands of seats available. But, don’t miss the shows, they are fabulous too.

Walt Disney is a first class act & worth the money spent on tickets to the parks! ($109 per day for 2 day/2 parks). Two tips: 1) Note your parking spot lane number written on pavement at end of aisle or it’s tough to find it at night or when you return from a nap!) 2) If you go in August, you can meet a lot of people from the UK, that’s their vacation month!.

This is fun, basic game that puts you in Disneyland. At the time of this review Disneyland has been closed for a year now due to virus. So if you love Disneyland and want go there, this is an alternative due to the current crisis.

It has mini games that are associated with the park rides and a firework mini game that you usually see at night before the park closes in real life.

Get this one while you can! I wish it was also on PS4 or Switch at least but this is. Must have for any Disneyland lover of any age. Running around the park doing quests for characters, take photos with or of the characters, HUG PLUTO, it’s the best! Especially when the parks were closed down, this was a great filler running around Disney in a game world!.

This is a really cute games for Disney lovers and those who love just simple gaming. You roam Disneyland working on tasks given by characters. You’re awarded points and compete with characters or yourself.

You can also ride the rides at Disney. There’s families walking through the park like real life and you’ll see them standing in line waiting for a turn. You get past the line though. I’ve enjoyed watching my kids play for some low key gaming.

They’re used to playing Destiny 2 so this is a great game for kids to settle down to. Great for adults as well!.
