20 Best Non Slip Bath Mat For Baby (2023 Updated)

Our shower floor is super slippery and we needed something to help toddler shower safely. I wanted something that wouldn’t collect mold like the stick-ons sometimes do. This mat is perfect! Good cushion to stand on and toddler does not slip around when standing on it.

The grooves and holes help water drain from it. I hang to dry everyday, which has helped to keep it clean.

Best bath mat I’ve ever purchased. I didn’t even realise it had a built in hanger when I bought it and that’s probably my favourite feature. I just liked it originally because it was neutral. Really well designed product.

Out of the packaging, I was not impressed. The mat would not flatten or suction to the bathtub. I let it lay flat that day, and tried it even though it wasn’t completely flat at bath time. The warm water worked like a charm! It flattened and suctioned great! I have had issues with other mats slipping, this one doesn’t at all, even with me using the tub! It covers the perfect amount of the tub so my 1 year old can move around safety.

It seems to be high quality compared to other brands I’ve tried. I like the hanging feature to get it out of the way if needed. I’ve purchased I think 5 different kinds of mats and this is by far the best.

Great mat to stop the bath being slippery. Hangs well on the shower or towel rack to allow it to dry out and not get mouldy. Can hang with the use of just one end, or can hang folded in half using the hooks both ends.

I have tried several bath mats for our 20-month old and nothing seems to work very well, including this mat. The material was a thick, hard plastic material. The suction cups on the bottom were also very hard and would not stick to the smooth surfaces of the tub.

Our tub does have a little bit of texture on the bottom and the cups would not stick to these parts (which I knew going into this purchase). I thought the mat would be large enough to reach the tub end-to-end, which would mean the suctions cups would be on the smoothe parts of the tub.

Unfortunately, the mat was not long enough for the length of the tub, nor did it stick very well to the smooth parts. I really wanted to love this mat based on the reviews, but sadly it had to be returned.

Live in a mobile home, the tub had ridges and I was scared but it has really good suction cups. I’ve had it for a year and it works well. I really like that it can hang to dry. It’s not too heavy. Just enough.

This mat is very useful. It has a lot of suction cups on the bottom so minimal to no risk of it sliding or becoming unstuck while your child plays. The colours are a great idea for children as well. The only thing that I wish it did have was a reinforced hole to hang it up to dry and store.

We take it out every time our daughter is not using it (to keep it chemical free for our baby. i. e. the scum from our shampoos, shaving cream, face wash products etc. that aren’t safe for babies), so having a better storing option would be nice.

I bought this mat 5 years ago. I liked it, but with time the circles lifted up and water got underneath, creating mold. Pulled off the circles as they came loose. We removed mat to let dry after every use.

Now looking to replace with different style.

I like this bath mat for the size and suction. Like others have mentioned, it needs to be removed to dry after baths as it will start to grow mold and gets slimy. I give it a good scrub every time I clean the tub.

The dots are pulled off over time, I think we have half the dots left so I finally tossed it. It does have a smell in the beginning, but after a year or so it’s now gone.

This bath mat is adorable and it adheres well to our tub; HOWEVER, it never stopped being smelly. I put it outside for a week when I first took it out of the package, because the outgassing smell was so pungent, but MONTHS later with frequent use, this thing still smells.

I smell it every time I walk into the bathroom. The smell isn’t as bad if I leave it suctioned to the tub (rather than hanging it up to dry), but it doesn’t seem to dry unless we pop it up after using it.

I feel like it could have more grip. :/ my son fell last time and he’s 1. he slipped back in the shower and almost hit his head on the thick, hard shower tiles we have. it’s fairly textured and so I think maybe that’s the problem.

needs more grip and the suction cups at the bottom don’t stick that great, the whole mat either comes off of starts sliding. have tried it out on shower and tub. both the same result.

These three rugs are extremely comfortable. So soft. The colors are vibrant, so beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I will be getting more for gifts as these rugs will be a sure favorite for the people getting these gifts.

Just like my title says, this is a great quality mat. We have kids and preventing accidents from slipping while in the tub is critical. The suction cups stick really well and the mat seems quite durable.

I am very happy with this non slip bath mat. My elderly mother lives with me and I had been using anti slip strips in her tub. This is so much better and safer. It easily adhered to tub and I feel very confident with it and as it is definitely more pleasing to the eye.

I bought this bath mat yesterday at a Bed Bath and Beyond store after reading all the reviews of all the mats available. I bought the mat in white to blend in with my white bathtub. And I took a bath today to test the mat out.

As other reviews said, the mat stays firm on the bottom of my bathtub. It does not float up at all. It is also very comfortable to sit and stand on as I take baths and not showers. After my bath I removed the bath mat to dry by hanging it over a pole which I had installed over my bathtub.

And I did immediately removed the mat while the water was draining to keep the mat clean and not filled up with hair. The mat dried fast and is still pristine white again. It was also very easy to remove the mat from the bottom of my tub even with water on top of it.

I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this mat above all the others being shown.

Overall I like this mat. I didn’t find it uncomfortable to stand or sit on, although I know some reviewers said they did. I guess we all have different sensibilities. Also I have an older porcelain white tub and it did not leave any stains on the tub.

My problem was that the mat itself picked up dirt like stains or smudges (from dirty feet I guess) that I couldn’t clean away. Also after less than 18 months of usage a piece on the middle edge just seemed to disintegrate.

I haven’t the slightest idea why. I haven’t used any harsh cleaning or bathing chemicals on it. I use mostly natural products. Nor did it happen after a cleaning. I just noticed it kinda out of the blue one day.

Overall this item lasted me a little less than 18 months. Honestly I was expecting a longer life and easier clean. But I’m off to buy it again, since its so reasonably priced and I mostly liked it, I’m going to try it again.

This mat has suction cups to prevent slippage, works great! This one instance this item looks like it fits a bathtub, it has no opening for shower drain.

When I ordered this I was expecting to receive a bath/shower mat that would keep me from slipping and falling in the shower. Once this mat is wet it is slicker than what my shower floor is. I don’t recommend this to use in any bathtub or shower at all it’s worthless! It is an accident waiting to happen.

Bathtime is such a fun, magical time of bonding for Jax and I. I always look forward to the end of the day when I put him in the tub and just watch him play. I remember all too well the transition from infant tub to big boy bath and how often he would slip and fall.

It’s a scary place to fall and I want to do everything I can to protect him. I did buy a bath mat to put in the tub but it was really gross! The bottom didn’t stick well and the water would collect and get moldy underneath.

While it might have been protecting him from slipping and falling, it was definitely exposing him to other dangers. When looking at new bath mats, the thing I liked about the Anti-Slip Mat from Dreambaby was that it had a double layer of protection! I used this one time and will not use it again. I felt like I was on a skating rink and would fall at any moment. The bubbles on this mat are very slippery like bubble wrap. I feel like this is made of the wrong material and should have some rough texture to the top of it.

I had a shorter bath mat that I had used for a long time and like very much but wanted to get a new and longer one so I ordered this one. Very disappointed with this mat. Went back to the old one I had.

I like the WalterDrake White Non Slip Bath Mat. It’s a little pricey, but it seems to be of good quality and I hang it up on the bathroom tile by just pressing it against the tile wall and because of the suction cups, it stays.

That limits the possibility of mold. It provides the safety protection I was looking for.

I am 72 years old and was very afraid of falling in the tub. I had other bath mats but used a shampoo that made them very slippery after using the shampoo. I used the shampoo with this bath mat but there still were no slippery spots on it.

Bought this mat for our onyx shower with textured shower floor because the textured floor doesn’t do a very good job of preventing slipping while showering. There is a warning that this mat isn’t for our type of shower floor (most mats have this warning) but we bought this mat anyway because of the number of suction cups it has.

Much to our surprise and relief the mat firmly attached to our shower floor and it has been perfect for my safety, showering after my hip replacement surgery. I don’t know if the shower mat would work on all textured shower floors but if you’re having the same problem as we had with our shower floor, it’s definitely worth trying.

I have been looking for a mat for my whirlpool tub for a while now. I was happy to see that BJ’s carries this mat and was certain that it would be of good quality. I immediately put it to use. It’s padded, comfortable, and the perfect length.

A big plus is that it will not slip because of the suction cups on the bottom. I would buy this mat again and again.

The Medline Bath Math is comfortable on bottom of my feet, no slippery feeling, the mat has a great suction to the shower floor.

This is not a bad mat at all for shower use. It does come with instructions to make sure to wet the shower or tub before use so that the suction cups on the mat will adhere better to the floor during use, and when you do, it sticks very well, and is easy to pull up after use to hang to dry.

It’s fairly comfortable to stand on, although you can definitely feel the suction cups under your feet. It is easy to clean, and doesn’t hold water like some mats can. Just be sure to hang the mat with the suction cups facing up for easier and more thorough drying ability.

It also looks nice, and is easy to see any soap suds that may need rinsing off as it is a clear gray.
