Best No Limit 2 Tune (2024 Updated)

Overall I am satisfied with this tuner. I like the fact that is does have a screen to see real time info and changing the tune is relatively easy. Installation was a little cumbersome but it was easy.

For performance gains it’s not mind blowing but it is fun. You can tell a difference when changing the tunes. The only issue I have is that not all the options it says it can do work on all vehicles.

They say that is the case on their website but you do not know until you have it installed.

It’s a hassle to get setup, when parts used are cheap, you need to pretty much use your own stuff to hook up. USB to SD mini don’t work, need to have one or get one. The fuse clip will not fit in fuse panel.

New vehicles don’t like it when you tap into it either. If your on rough road or offloading, don’t expect it to stay connected to the holder provided. Should come with a way to install it in the piller.

Cost extra.

I am very happy with the ease of use and the power gains. I haven’t used the product for a long enough period of time to determine if there is any improvement in fuel economy. I drive a four wheel drive 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500.

I had to remove a few more fuses in the engine compartment than I thought I would (Onstar, factory radio, both headlights, both taillights), because I kept getting error 85 (I think), but once I figured that out, it was easy to program my truck.

Prior to programming my truck, I had to use 92 octane fuel to prevent pinging. So, I had to program my truck for Regular Fuel Performance Tune and continue to use 92 Octane fuel to prevent pinging, but even so, the power gains are very noticeable.

Once I get the pinging issue resolved while my truck is tuned back to stock, I will try the Premium Fuel Performance tune again and I would expect a really good power gain. If I get an improvement in fuel economy, I would give an even better review of the product.

I bout this mostly on the recomindations of this site. I have used other brands in the past with success of varying degrees. I just say that for the price this unit is very cheaply made. Although easy to use it dosent have the options that were advertised, only cookie cutter tunes.

Over all I should have went with another brand. Returned.

I installed this power programmer on a 1999 camaro ls1. I had wanted the premium fuel program, lower the cooling fan temperature and raised the top speed limiter. We use apple computer products here at my shop so, I had a friend bring his windows computer to the shop for the downloads.

We followed directions , made a quick call to hypertech and no problem. The programmer worked great. The camaro has a shift kit so, I did not change the transmission yet. Given time and a dyno run , the programmer can do much more for the car.

I chose Hypertech because they have a great reputation and many years experience with my 1999 camaro ls1.

Save your money. If you think you are gonna plug this thing in and turn your truck into a super car, think again. There is no noticeable change in power, fuel economy or anything else. Does not come ready to use.

have to download software to get started. Comes with a useless CD. Sure you can use it to calibrate new tires sizes, change shift points and rev limiters. but on a stock truck none of that matters much.

I got it to turn off the AFM, hoping maybe to get a little more. If you make other mods and then add this maybe you would notice some performance improvements. If you tune a stock truck hoping for a rocketship.

This is a great tuner. As always it works best on diesel trucks, however, I own a 2007 f150 and it suprised me in it’s performance. I expected to not feel or see anything yet as I am installing the air intake, headers and 3 inch exhaust tomorrow.

But as my truck is raised 6 inches and on 35 inch tires, it doesn’t get the best gas milage. I would say if I baby it I can get about 12 to 13 mpg. After installing the hyper tech max energy tuner I was getting between 17 and 19 mpg when I drove the same way (babying it).

Still that is amazing. The entire goal of my spending 2k on the truck was so I could get at least 20 mpg on my truck as it is my daily driver. However, I am starting to think after I install the rest of these parts I may end up getting closer to 25! Yes that is unreal to say, but if you calculated mpg using miles driven against gallons of gas filled at the pump and came back with 19 mpg I think you would become a believer as well.

I plan on doing even more to get better mpg by only changing out the parts that help that aspect of it. Next thing I think I will change is going to be a coil pack for the starter, spark plug wires, larger oil pan, I am wrapping my long tube headers as well, and will be looking into cam shafts and valve springs also to find out how they may affect mpg.

I think if I can do all the little things that most people do not think matters then the hyper tech tuner will bring all of these elements into play and let me drive my truck without feeling like a grandma going 20 on the highway in a lambo.

While this tuner is easy to use once you download the proper software/drivers to your pc. The process of getting the proper software/drivers was a pain in the butt. Why the tuner wouldn’t be able to use the most up to date software is beyond me.

Maybe it was the software developers issue. Anyway, once the unit was updated it was pretty straight forward to make any adjustments you want. Took about 10 minutes once I decided on the details of the tuning.

Haven’t noticed any fuel economy gains yet.

IšverstiShow in original languageSeems to function as advertised so far. Price seems a little high and I do not like the red lighting it emits while ignition on and operating. I hope it saves me from replacing labor intensive lifter/cam replacement until I get the truck paid of.

After that it’s time to perform total AFM delete. I think Summit offers a kit with all the necessary parts to do so. I gave four stars because I haven’t had it long enough to really find fault.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis was a refurbished product. Easy install and removal ( thank you ) but did not work to good. 2014 4. 3 silverado. Did not last for 50 miles. Ran about 30 miles and turned corner started to accelerate and the engine died was unable to start till removal.

five min. later it started and ran good enough to get me to work I mean it was not bad running but it was not standard running by any mean ( slow sluggish ). After getting to work I disconnected battery for eight hours and hope it would come back to what it was , and it did same old slow to respond and shaking at speed when the fuel management system kicked in.

Hope the full price one are better but I don’t know. Time to trade to a older foreign trk like toyota or nessan.

IšverstiShow in original languageI put this on my ’15 Silverado and immediately took it out for a drive. It is like a different truck. Gone is the mushy starts from red lights. It responds better underfoot on the highway and I don’t get that buzzy weird feeling going down the road when it’d shift to the 4 cylinder mode.

there’ll be no more of that. It seems to have helped the hunting and picking for a gear at lower speeds. I’m not sure about the gas mileage, but that is not why I bought it. It does what they say it’ll do.

I’m very happy with it. It is amazing that something that takes literally seconds to install can make that much difference.

My truck setup is 2013 Ram 1500 with a Pro Comp 6” lift and 35/12. 50r20 tires. I had a difficult time with getting the software updated either via wifi or line connected. Ended up getting it updated via wifi before I could make any changes, totally fine.

The problem was before it was updated the unit kept freezing on me and took about four attempts for it to finally update. Once updated it was pretty self explanatory. Tire size adjustment wasn’t super accurate to what the device said my tire size was and what my tires actually are.

I have 35” tires and had to set the unit to 33. 5” tires for the speedometer to be accurate. Checked with 3 different gps softwares to confirm actual speed. It’s possible I missed something. One thing I didn’t read and maybe some already know this but I had to learn.

When you select a tune you should drive it for about 75-100 miles before the tune actually finds it’s groove so-to-speak. Again, some people may know that but I didn’t. So the mpg initially was not good but since I’ve driven it for a while it’s improved.

Now that I’ve driven a while and we’re about to take it on a trip I feel pretty confident in the tune/settings.

2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 2. 5 inch lift on 35’s. I am very satisfied with this product. At first I received a used one that was not functioning properly however summit was quick to resolve that issue and send me a new one.

I did the 87 tune, here’s what I found. Mpg went from 15. 4 to 18. 9 average (over 19 if driving conservatively). I changed my fan to come on at 212 instead of 226. (I was running 225-235 degrees at highway speeds now I’m 205-215! Much better!) Corrected my speedometer to adjust to my 35in tires.

Slight increase in performance/throttle response. Haven’t tried the 91 or 93 tune yet but I am very happy with the results.

Installed on a 2017 Camaro SS good bang for the your buck as far as tuning goes but really paid off by disabling the AFM. Probably saved my engine in the long run. I don’t think these GM engines will last much over 125k miles with AFM enabled.

This tuner gives you a decent tune out of the box and is plug and play. Would have upgraded to the predators platinum if I had to do it again knowing what I know now. But very satisfied. Not going to give a lot of power or torque but disabling the AFM was ultimate objective.

Does give nice throttle response and modify a few parameters.

Newer trucks have a built in tow mode setting, but if you own an older truck that is in good condition this is an excellent upgrade. I own a 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the 5. 4 triton 2 valve/ cylinder and the 4R100 automatic transmission.

I’ve owned it since December of 2003. The previous owner had a Superchips added for towing in June of 1999, the type that plug into the back of the computer. It had fifteen sets of jaws that clip onto fifteen inlaided circuit lines in the circuit board.

After 22 years those clips wore into the circuit lines destroying them. So I purchased and installed a remanufactured computer programmed off my trucks vin. I noticed a significant lose in towing ability, but also noticed that it shifted smoother when not towing.

Technically has changed and now you can have both. So I purchased the Flashpaq. I first tried the Performance mode, but didn’t like it , it is to strong and shifts to hard for my liking. So I used the Mileage XS setting.

It performs well and shifts smoothly. I set my truck for Heavy Tow mode when towing my R. V. It is even better than the old Superchip. Truck seems stronger, shifts smoothly and holds longer on an up hill grade before the need for the transmission to down shift.

When I’m done towing I reset to Mileage XS. I’m not interested in mileage so much as I am in how it runs and shifts Couldn’t be more satisfied.

I added this when I installed the RC Cat-back. I immediately noticed improvements on all fronts. MPG went up. Throttle response improved. Power and torque both definitely improved. Last night while driving on the freeway, while making a lane change, I put my foot into it a bit and the truck downshifted as it accelerated.

It was a bit of a surprise to me how the truck responded because I’m used to the ride without the chip. Really felt the power come through. I can’t be sure of this but it felt like the back end broke loose a bit.

I was using the 87 octane map. The truck tows my boat just fine on stock but the experience and power delivery is so much better on the superchip. Shift points are spot on and all the power seems to be just sitting there in the immediate background waiting to be used.

San Vicente Reservoir in San Diego has a really steep hill at the entry. Again, my stock truck handles it fine, but it feels effortless on the superchip. Not paid to write the review. I just really like the product.

After putting 295/70r17s on my truck, it took a freakin nose dive regarding its power and highway speeds. It was a turd and made me second guess going with bigger tires. I still plan on regearing it but for now this programmer has 100% satisfied the issues.

I can tell you this thing works. I have only used 87 setting and set my tire size and stock gear ratio 3. 55. Well worth it. The truck feels way better with this childish tires lol. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s not going to fix it 100%.

It definitely isn’t stock at 60+ with accelerating. But there are certain hills in my area that really pushed the truck with the bigger tires and the before and after with the programmer was certainly noticeable.

Again, don’t expect to do burnouts if you can’t already do them, but if you just put some bigger tires on your truck and don’t wanna tell your wife you kinda don’t like the way the truck feels now after dropping $1600 on some new shoes for it, get this.

Hello everyone. I am the proud owner of a 2022 Honda Civic Si and out of the box it is a very fun and all-around great vehicle, yet I thought how can I make it better? Well, this began my research into which is the best upgrade one can buy for the Si that would give me the most bang for my dollars.

I found that a tuner is the best first step when it comes to waking up the car and I’ll tell you did it. The difference is day and night light and dark vanilla chocolate oh lord what a great product ad so user Friedley.

With 3 standard tunes and the ability to custom tune is amazing and the ability on this V2 KTunner with a screen to facilitate all my tuning needs. well, If you can tell I love this thing and recommended it to everyone.

This Si can move now and coupled with a downpipe which also was purchased at MAP im on the road to 300. Ok well enough blabbing sees you guys soon on my next adventure!.

This review is for how it worked on my 2006 Ram Cummins auto 2wd. Chopped airbox to force air in, and a monster ram. 4 inch mangaflow exhaust and no cat. Waste gate was clamped. The difference between stock tune and this was night and day.

My main complaint was the limits and shift point options were not available for this truck. Limits. 110mph and 3200rpm. I have used all the tunes and the difference under most conditions between the economy tune vs the max tune are really close with out the smoke.

The other tunes were less powerful. The max tune is slightly more powerful but hazy to smokey, and consumes more fuel. The max banks tune compared to the efi file is about the same mpg but a boat load more power on the efi live tune.

That cost a couple hundred more than this. I was able to achieve about 29mpg. Though the display said 36. 9mpg. The banks programmer seems to make the mpg display lie a bit. If you intend to hammer on the truck, do the head studs.

Its an easy mod. This is suppose to be done every 25k miles. If you don’t you will be changing a head gasket and that’s not a fun job. Overall for a mild build this is a great tool to have. The scan functions are ok, but a dedicated scanner is more versatile, but this will tell you most of the issue you will encounter.

When I was thinking about buying this product I researched the dynojet website to see how many tunes were available for my bike. 2017 FZ-09 with Akrapovic full exhaust. To my amazement there were four pages full of tunes for my bike.

After my purchase, I went to download said tunes just to find out that out of all those tunes, there were only (4) available that would work with my ECU and that did not include any of the tunes for my exhaust.

I felt misled because they do not mention this anywhere that I could find. Oh, and don’t buy it to take out the deceleration exhaust pop because it will not do that either. On the plus side, it added power and blows blue flame out of the exhaust during decel.

No matter what they say. If you are not racing big time the options for different mapping setup has worked out in the road, mountains and the track. It’s worth more than taking my ECU for reflashing whenever I want to do something different.

The kit was very easy to wire up (with the wiring harness adapter) and once installed the car had a noticeable difference in throttle response. The rev limit and 2 step are easy to set and work well

Msd was in original box in great condition. Works perfectly. Nothing missing. Very satisfied!

Works will like any MSD product. Love being able to change the idle and two step by a turn dial. No need to change chips. Would recommend to anyone

This product, while VERY effective, is the absolute NASTIEST pre-workout I’ve ever tasted. It’s literally like vomit in a glass 🤢🤢 No matter WHAT I tried to mix it in, nothing could mask the taste. It got to a point I had to just pinch my nose and try to chug it down because I’d already spent the money and couldn’t return it.

For some time, I was traumatized by the idea of pre-workouts because this was my very first one and I had such a terrible experience. Even tried different flavors to see if it would make a difference.

Also, it’s a carbonated beverage, so you can’t use your shaker cup for this one. You HAVE to mix it using a spoon. If you try to shake it, it will have the same effect as when you shake up a can or bottle of soda and then open it; it will fly everywhere and get all over the place.

I’m so glad I finally gave a different pre-workout a try. It’s not all pre-workouts that are nasty; just N. O. Xplode. Like I said, it does work well (seriously it’s like liquid crack/cocaine; you will question whether or not this stuff is even legal lol), but the taste is just unbearable.

The one I currently use is just as effective AND it tastes way better; plus I can actually shake it up to mix it, and it tastes fine even with just plain water. It seems to kick in about 30 min after consumption and helps me to stay focused and to work with intention.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a good pre-workout. There are many more out there that are just as effective, taste great, and won’t cost you between $30-$60 per tub. The new one I got only costed me about $20.

While BSN has plenty of other amazing products that actually taste decent and are effective, their N. O. Xplode is NOT one of those products. Good luck!.

Great variety of flavours, easily mixed and with no sour after taste this pre-workout was easy to consume. No X Plode came recommended from a friend and gave me energy to fuel heavier lifts. I’ve been setting personal bests on my gym lifts as a 44yo over the past couple of months being able to push for a couple of extra reps and when I think i have nothing left in the tank find with a heavier weight I’m doing more reps making my early working sets look like warmups.

I don’t use it for every workout because I want maximum effect for my heaviest lifting days when I have a spotter available and aren’t going to leave any reps in reserve. I’d choose watermelon over grape flavour or buy more than one and alternate the flavours.

This is probably the worst pre workout I have ever tried. The taste is horrible after the third or fourth use. The pumps are non-existent. After going through the tub, nearly the entire time not once have I had a good pump.

I felt no beta-alanine tingles. The only good thing I could say about this pre-workout is the focus is pretty good. But after about half of the container, the focus starts to diminish and you start to zone in and out of focus.

Lastly the caffeine, there is no hype or energy that this pre-workout gives you. Not even in the first time taking it did I get a fair amount of energy. In all, I would not recommend this pre-workout to even beginners.

For 35 dollars it does not give you what pre-workout should. This product is actually horrible.

IšverstiShow in original languageSo I have a 2015 silverado, 5. 3l v8, 4×4. It already had a Gibson cat back exhaust and a specture cold air intake when I used this reprogramer. I didn’t notice much a difference in sound or power, if any at all.

Mpg increase was there, but about 1. 5 or so from what I can tell. It did however increase certain features that I can notice like shift firmness. The truck will break the tires loose shifting into 2nd and 3rd gears now.

So that parts cool. Getting it hooked up to the computer to update was a little confusing but not bad and only took about 15 min. Easy to use once it’s updated.

I did not raise the speed limiter above my tire capabilites.

Perfect for rainy Sunday afternoon watching, some great shots of the TT course and fun to play spot the bike, if you are a vintage bike fan! If you have ever been to the TT it will amaze you just how recognizeable the island still is.

Personally I could do without the singing, but thats just me and not really a critique of Formby and Lady Ga Ga sure can`t manage the TT course so clearly you can`t have it all. Well worth a light hearted watch.

Fantastic comedy , who but George Formby could ride the 1935 Isle of man TT. Same race same day love the racing action

Purchased to go in a Mopar for an upgrade to the stock electronic ignition. Did not work with the known good distributor pick-up like the manual says, no spark trigger. Replaced the distributor with a new factory unit, still the MSD 6AL did not register a trigger signal.

Checked all wiring, hooked it up to another 12v source to insure the voltage did not drop while cranking. Called the MSD Tech Line, and they know of the issue of the trigger not working from the stock distributors.

Long story short, I was told that the only way to make it work was use one of the MSD distributors or crank trigger kits. More than double the cost of the 6AL box itself, for a system that I was trying to conceal in the first place.

Billet distributor puts that out of the question. The solution that I have found was a PetTronix Flame-Thrower distributor.

Bought this to replace my old analog 6AL Box that had been in my car for about 15 years. I like the fact that MSD kept the same foot print. Other features that were improved upon were the dial rev limiter and led indicator that lets you know the unit is working properly.

I installed using a GM HEI dist. I was warned by an expert who had installed 100s of them to go watch youtube videos first before install because install instructions are poor. Glad I did! Examples: pick up wire hold down plastic brackets have to be modified to work, don’t use the MSD connectors to the cap, cut the original plug and splice the leads into it.

Otherwise, once I connected everything up, could instantly feel better response. I had plug fouling and that is why I installed despite changing to the highest heat range possible. So far with the MSD and 300 miles, no plug foul.

IšverstiShow in original languageI was very excited to get this tuner and put it in my truck. I received it on Thursday evening. So Friday in my lunch break, I took the time to un wrap and check out my new toy.

I read all the instructions, downloaded all the latest software and did the update. When I got home, about 4:30, I began my install which was very easy. Took about 25 minutes to route and mount everything.

Now to finally get to use it! Plug it in, follow on screen instructing, put my VIN number in and then. i wait, and wait, and wait and wait. Finally the screen changes and. asks me to put my VIN in again.

So I do. Again I wait. then it says i already have a tuner in the pcm, to put my VIN in again. Tried calling tech support, they are already closed for the weekend! What performance company doesn’t have tech support on a weekend! Everyone works on their trucks on weekends! I do not have a tuner, never have, and I am original owner.

I took it back and bought the TS 6 position chip. You want to see a difference, then skip the tuner. Buy the TS chip!.

IšverstiShow in original languageEverything I expected & than some. Not sure what others did wrong, mine works great! I still haven’t updated it, I bought it & did the quick plug & play no issues. The only thing that changed a couple days ago was the original sequence of 1-4.

My extreme setting for some reason is now coming up on setting 3 & my hot setting is now coming up on setting 4. Besides that it’s great! I got a increase of mileage on every setting versus my stock setting.

On extreme I even gained an extra 4-5 miles per gallon in the city.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis product is not worth it. DO NOT BUY IT. I have a 96 F-250 7. 3L. I had problems with this product from start to finish. During the process of updating this product it failed to update correctly several times and ultimately only programmed my truck partialy.

Edge had to send me a stock rewriter which also was poor quality. Took me several time of me trying to rewrite my computer for it to work. They sent me a faulty wiring harness with the rewriter. I only had this product a month and sent it back.

In the end I returned this product due to the fact that this programmer fried my IDM.

So I bought this product about 6 months ago. When I installed it, it was great. You could definitely notice a change in shifting patterns and more power. All was good until I installed a new Carven TR on my 2003 tahoe.

I have been running the “tow tune” on my tahoe since I purchased the superchips Dashpaq and when the muffler was installed, my car ran like a dying dog. It lost all low end power. I thought maybe it was the muffler, but when I took off the tune, it ran fine again.

I then tried the “extreme tune” and the “87 tune” and they all ran the same. They definitely should advertise this product for stock vehicles only. Because if something as small as a muffler change affects the way the vehicle drives on these tunes, imagine with bigger changes like an intake or a catback system.

Overall I wish they would provide more info on the product. Save your money and get a blackbear tune or any custom tune for that matter.

This tuner has completely changed the way I view my truck. It has the 4. 6 3v which is a huge dog from the factory, and admittedly after many bolt-on parts it still was. This tuner mostly changed that, in terms of keeping my motor revved up and allowing me to be in its prime power band more often, not necessarily making more power(maybe 5-10 peak hp gain on the 91 octane tune running 93 octane pump gas).

Where this tuner shines is its three separate transmission maps, that completely changes the way the trans feels and shifts. The shifts are extremely fast and aggressive without being Jerky and power delivery is phenomenal and extremely smooth.

If youre lookin for a way to change the way your truck feels and/or make it go a tad faster, this is 100% the way to go. Now my favorite thing about this unit is the sheer amount of live data that you can view at once.

I just wish there was an easier way to change the color as well as more temperatures for the different fluids. Either way, 100% recommend this tuner to anyone hoping for that little bit if extra customization after doing basic bolt-on mods.

Ordered the DashPaq Diesel for my 2015 F350 XLT 6. 7L Power-stroke Turbo Diesel with 153k miles on it. Was skeptical at first, but this made a huge difference! My truck is completely stock right now and the first thing I notice with the built in “Extreme” tune was the throttle response, very little hesitation which improved my 0-60 drastically.

Not only that, gear shifting was a lot smoother. I was hoping that I could erase the Ford MyKey 80mph limiter because I don’t have the master ignition key but I am still very excited with the performance.

A little expensive, not sure how much it would cost to get a custom tune from a shop, assuming it would cost much more though. Haven’t tried the fuel economy tune yet, don’t know if I want to seeing how the truck performs now! Note: I’ve seen videos with a truck being tuned while running.

For this application, ensure you start the tune with the ignition key in the “run” position (do not start engine), then follow the on screen instructions. I will definitely be upgrading my air intake soon for an even better experience.

I’ve had my accessport for a few months now. Overall, I’d say it’s worth the price tag, but the quality isn’t very good and some things that are included are flat out junk. For those of you who don’t like reading, it’s great for its intended purpose which is tuning your car with off the shelf maps, but feels cheaper than a Nintendo DS.

For those who want to know what they’re buying, I’ve gone into greater detail below: The good: Tunes amazingly. You can completely reflash the ECU in about 30 seconds or you can real-time reflash it (which is kinda like a temporary flash, great for testing new stuff out) which takes about 5 seconds.

The amount of features packed into the tiny thing is pretty amazing. Cobb has a huge assortment of tunes on their website for you to use, and you can even make your own once you take their class. You can adjust idle RPMs which has been great for me because I have an aftermarket flywheel.

It’s got launch control if you’re into that sort of thing and the data logging feature allows you to monitor whatever you want. (You’re gonna want a third party software to open the data log file though, but there are plenty of free ones out there) Want to check your 0-60 time? Your quarter mile? It’s got a feature for that.

I always knew that it would read and translate check engine lights for you which instantly (in my eyes) makes it worth about $300 alone, but I recently found out that for a lot of codes by clicking the option button, Cobb has wrote a little paragraph explaining why this code might have been caused, whether or not it’s a big deal, and what you can do to fix it.

Thank you whoever added that, because dang, what a great feature. I’ve even heard that they’re working on a virtual dyno mode update for this accessport in the future. It comes with all the connectors and cords you need (including a more than long enough OBDII cord) and simple enough instructions that makes it pretty easy to install.

(Took me about 10 minutes. I find wiring it through the steering column and out the lever part on the left side works for me best) I’ve heard plenty of stories of these things getting stolen, which is why I’m glad they made the back magnetic.

It sticks to the provided stand allowing you to grab it easily and hide it wherever. I’d take it off every time if I wasn’t worried about damaging the cord because of repeated every day use. The bad: It doesn’t hold up to Cobb usual quality standards, especially for $675.

For example, one of my buttons is stiffer than the others. It feels pretty lightweight and cheap. (Probably because there’s no battery in it) The provided stand doesn’t angle enough to be useful and looks like it costs $0.

50 to make. I actually had to replace the adhesive that sticks to the dashboard because the one it came with was absolute junk and wasn’t strong enough to hold the accessport. You can buy a stand that goes over your defroster vent, but I think it’s about $50.

The faceplate is interesting. Still haven’t been able to get mine off to see it with the other provided faceplate and ended up scratching the heck out of the accessport trying to get it off. You have to take an online class to make your own tunes which is bearable, but is a must know for new buyers.

The interface looks pretty dated but works fine. It would be really cool to see some customized gauges in the future so I can set my boost control to look like an analog gauge. Considering there’s nothing like it on the market, I’d recommend, but I hope Perrin comes out with something like it so Cobb steps up the quality a bit.

I installed this just today and wanted to make sure I gave a review right away since everything is fresh. Car runs very, very well. After about 10 minutes of warming up the car, you can really feel the difference in boost response.

Spool comes on much quicker and stays strong throughout the powerband. Also, it requires a bit more gas input to get things spooling (a good thing), vs the factory tune which seemed to dump gas right away and not spool up even 50% the amount Cobb Stage 1 Tune does.

The stock tune always made the engine feel very stressed at higher rpms and I would always feel uncomfortable doing higher rpm pulls. With the Cobb tune I feel confident the engine can handle it. Highway cruising speed is also much better, even with the short gearing of the 5 speed.

With the stock tune I would feel like I needed 1 more gear to be comfortable at 80mph, but now it cruises at 80 at a much lower rpm Very interested to see what stage 2+ feels like in the future ________________________________ As for install, it was very easy short of having to connect and later disconnect the initializer connectors.

I always have trouble with connectors because I am a large framed man with large hands and can’t get enough torque on the connectors to disconnect. I would suggest having someone do this part for you if you know this is a problem.

Lets be honest, its a little pricey but yes i promise its worth it! I went stage 2 with catless downpipe and uppipe, and a cat back exhaust. I also have a cobb intake. Untuned the car felt sluggish. But with the cobb stage 2 93 ots, she feels so much better! A bugeye wagon! Feeling fast! Seems sort of a dream.

I cant wait for a protune. If you want the perfect setup for the 6 gauges, i highly recommend Boost, Air fuel ratio, Exhaust gas temps, Dyn adv multi, Feedback Knock, Fine knock learn. I like to switch egt with intake sometimes, and when i run economy i like to switch it to gas % and mpg.

Whats great too is launch control (NOT RECOMMENDED ON SUBARU 5SPDS THEY ARE KNOWN TO BLOW FROM LAUNCHING) And being able to adjust your timing in the blink of an eye!! Sometimes you just get bad gas and need to change the timing just a little to keep you safe.

This pretty device also has the ability to accurately calculate your 0-60, and your quarter mile! Ofcourse, only use these on a closed track (in the neighborbood).

Works well when I got it to work! The dynojet tunes are not very descriptive. Also im still having trouble loading tunes from the web site. Currently running a full exhaust yet can only load a slip on pipe tune.

Had a aftermarket fuel programmer and after much searching figured out it was the problem for loading tunes. -m-2014 POLARIS RANGER RZR XP 1000–.

It definitely adds a lot of options to performance. I think the software is kind of on the advanced side and there aren?t any tutorials. I figured out some of the easier things like disabling the speed limiter.

The program that is offered on this really does nothing but you will lose 500 RPM with this as soon as you upload the program. Working with the company to fix the program is like playing cat and mouse.

I would spend a little with extra and go with something else. Works good as a display and shows you what your motor is doing but that’s about it and i believe to can buy that one just for that which is cheaper.

When I bought my 2020 WRX, the plan going in was to leave it stock. I’m getting older; with this being my fourth vehicle, I decided it was time to stop going full racecar. Things were going acceptably well until the break-in period was over and I stepped on it.

The 2015+ WRX has a very quirky powerband, and I didn’t like it at all. Between that and the overly touchy throttle, I knew my sabbatical from go-fast parts had come to a halt. While this is my first Subaru, this is my second vehicle with an Accessport.

Installation was familiar and as easy as ever — the hardest part is plugging it into the OBDII port by feeling alone. I opted to start with the Cobb OTS 91 octane Stage 1 map, using 93 octane fuel. After the reflash process had finished, I allowed the car to warm up, then drove around for a few hours.

The improvements are immediately apparent; both the throttle input and powerband are much more linear and intuitive. I was expecting a bit of a learning curve considering the throttle map is customized for the Cobb OTS tunes, but that took about two gearshifts to feel out.

Smooth, smooth, smooth is the word of the day. No more lurchy AWD shifts in lower gears, no more accidental launch control takeoffs at stop lights, no more giving my steering wheel a nose boop when flooring it through 4000 RPM.

As it stands right now, the Accessport alone has majorly transformed my two big (and perhaps only) sore spots with the 2015+ WRX. On the 91 octane map, the power feels relatively the same as stock (minus the aforementioned flat spots in the powerband being ironed out,) and all numbers looked great; no DAM dropping or knock, and the air/fuel ratio seems proper enough for a stock turbo application (stoich in lower RPM, low 11s at full tilt.

) I can’t overstate the joy I now feel in driving this car, with just the 91 octane OTS map in place. I plan on trying both the Cobb 93 octane & MAPerformance 93 octane maps down the line, to see how they get along with my car.

The one point of contention to me is the rev hang. I can’t say I notice a difference at all compared to stock, but the thing is, I never felt like the rev hang was atrocious enough in this model year to do anything about it.

I had to “tune out” the rev hang in my previous car, and even still, I remember feeling that my WRX handled it about as well as the previous car did, post-tune. Maybe earlier model years will notice a wanted improvement, but as for me, shifting out of first gear still feels a little floaty.

Again, this has never been an issue to me. Not much else to say, except I wish this is how the car felt from the factory, and while I wish I didn’t have to spend any money to get the car feeling this way, it was worth every penny! Of course, now the floodgates are open.

No beating around the bush here: get your Cobb Accessport from MAPerformance. I have a 2015 WRX Limited with 93k on the clock, never tuned/flashed. Until now. I did try the Cobb OTS Stage 1 91 octane tune and it did smooth out the power delivery, no more rev hang on 1-2 shifts and parking lot driving is much more tolerable (no more launching when pressing accelerator pedal), but it did cause DAM to drop occasionally.

After 1k miles I then flashed to MAPerformance Stage 1 91 octane tune and was immediately blown away by the difference. Power is much more linear and deeper in the MAP than the stock tune/Cobb OTS 91 and pulls hard way past 4500 like the stock tune.

Huge thank you to MAPerformace for tossing in their Stage 1 tune when you purchase from them. It is definitely the tune I’ll be keeping on the car. I must also mention the fast shipping. I ordered on a Thursday and my Accessport arrived on Saturday! Bottom line, don’t be afraid to tune your FA20DIT, just get the tune from MAPerformance.
