20 Best Night Cream For Acne (2023 Updated)

This night cream is amazing. A little goes a long way. Leaves my skin feeling moisturized and I still feel it working through the morning. I just love the hydrating feeling I get after application. I would recommend to others and buy again.

I love this retinol cream makes your skin feel so healthy and feels like your face is going through a nice tingle feeling. You don’t need to use but a little tiny bit so this bottle will last you a while.

I would most definitely buy this product again.

This is the first time I’ve used this product! I Always use retinol 0. 3 this different! Although it says for acne which I don’t have! It is quite nice to use! Just hope doesn’t make my skin too dry which it hasn’t so far!.

It almost seems like it keeps the skin in place. It offers the skin a lovely, dewy, youthful appearance. It moisturizes without being greasy. I struggle to find skincare products that actually benefit my skin, but this one works.

Well lets start with packaging. The label is rather bland. The company should use a brighter label, such as yellow to attract the consumers eye. The current label is bland and looking at it, I would not buy it.

The next issue I have is the writing on the label. You can read it at all without putting a pair of reading glasses and even then the words are super tiny. This is a problem because it makes it difficult to figure out how to the use the product.

There is no scent to the product and for me that’s a turnoff. I light, natural scent would be great. I do like the texture and consistency of the product. It’s creamy and goes on smooth and it has a light sheen.

This is great because it keeps the skin from looking greasy. Now in terms of keeping my skin soft and smooth, it does an ok job. The jar says add to dry skin, then wash off. My skin is light smooth for about a day.

I did something different and applied it to my dry skin and did not rinse it off. I found it was much better on my skin that way. This product in my opinion needs a major overall. If Shea Moisture does this, then this product would be worth buying.

At this time I would not recommend this product to anyone at this time.

I’m on my mid 30s and I feel like retinol is a must have. No wonder retinol is called the “holy grail” of skin care. I started resuming the use of retinol, specifically this low strength from Skinceuticals recently after doing a bunch of research/ watching dermatologist do their reviews of retinol.

Please don’t make the same mistake that I did when I first started using retinol. Back then all I keep hearing was “retinol is good for your skin” as it speeds up the cell turnover process. Without doing any research or advise from providers I went full force, I used the maximum strength 1.

0 with the mindset that “the stronger, the better”. I suffered from what they called “retinol dermatitis”. I have a sensitive/ acne prone skin. I was using the maximum strength every night. In a matter of few days, my face turned red with heavy peeling and worse breakouts.

I stopped using it and spoke with a provider. I got traumatized from using retinol and told myself I will never use it again! After recommendations from friends that have glowing skin and watching reviews from dermatologist online on how to use retinol properly, this time I came prepared and gave it another shot.

I started with the lowest strength from Skinceuticals, specifically this 0. 3 dose. I prep my skin with a mild cleanser followed by a “pea size” amount of retinol then apply triple lipid restore cream.

Yep, all you need is a pea size (please don’t same mistake I did). I use the retinol initially once every 3 days then now every other night. Omg, my skin has never felt so great! I can notice the difference already and will continue using it.

My breakout is lessening and my skin appears smoother. Overall condition of my skin is better! For now, I will stay with this strength and keep using it every other night.

I gave 4 bcuz I just only used this product nearly 2 wks now. In term of efficacy to reduce wrinkles, sun spots & hyperpigmentation too early to tell. After reading about the side effects of tropical vitamin A I was a bit nervous to try it out.

Originally I was thinking of using it once a wk for two wks then step it up a bit as recommended by most dermatologists. The first day I had it on after serum & moisturiser to avoid or minimise the irritation, redness, dryness etc.

To my surprise I didn’t get any side effects, 3-4 days later see nothing bad happens to my skin I decided to scaled to 3 times a wk with no side effects (touched wood). From then on I don’t use the layer method instead after I double cleanse to get rid of my mineral sunscreen (I don’t wear makeup) I wait until my skin is completely dry (1hr) I go for the serum moisturiser & eye cream.

Maybe my skin can tolerate this low concentration 0. 3%. If after a mth still no side effects I might go for the high concentration of 1%. Good luck to me.

Reading through most of the reviews, a huge focus is on the scent, which is very confusing to me. I learned at about 5 years old that health & wellness was about functionality, so even though certain fruits & veggies didn’t taste great to me at 5, I learned to love them because of the nutrients/benefits they provided me with.

That’s the same thing here. You are looking for a product to deal with acne, so functionality should be the focus of the analysis, not the scent. It smells that way because of the efficacy of the ingredients to banish acne.

I don’t understand why someone dealing with acne & wanting to get rid of it would be disparaging of a product because of its smell. That’s a surface level evaluation of something (scent/taste), when you should be focusing on the ability of the product to produce the intended outcome (benefits of use).

Personally, this product has done wonders for my skin after Living Libations BSE Seabuckthorn gave me acne for the first time in 2 decades. Indie Lee is an amazing brand, & I love this product because it does what it sets out to do.

I’ve been using this for just under a week now and it’s doing a noticeably good job of shrinking some of my hormonal acne. It’s not drying, which is a huge bonus. The smell is a little strange, but it’s effective enough that I’m willing to overlook that.

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because there’s not a lot of product in the tube for the price. Otherwise it performs better than I expected. It’s a lot gentler on sensitive skin than the usual salicylic acid spot treatments that I’ve tried, and the ingredients do make a difference in how red/noticeable my pimples are the next day.

I just wish it was a larger container!.

I am amazed at this inexpensive face cream. The rich consistency is so nice. At first I thought it might be too heavy for my skin but no, it soaked right in. Absolutely no greasy feeling. My skin looks wonderful in the morning.

I like it so much I sometimes wear during the day. I did order every other product available on QVC, Can’t wait to try them all. Thank you for making such effective, affordable products.

I use this very rich cream every evening after cleansing my face. I love that the cream is so easily absorbed into the skin and leaves a nice finish without being sticky. If I could change one thing, I would make it fragrance free.

Other than that I’ve been using it for about two weeks and I have noticed the morning glow, it is making my skin more even toned and very hydrated in the morning. I’ve even gotten a few compliments on the glow of my skin.

I have mature skin, but started on the skincare train just 5 years ago. I’ve tried literally DOZENS of moisturizers. Give this 4 – 6 weeks of using at night at least 5 nights a week. You will be amazed! I think this would be great for any age mature skin and believe the company should drop the term “menopause” from the description.

I think it’s great! Very rich so a little goes a long way. Perfect for Chicago weather now. Sometimes I mix in a couple of sprays of the treatment booster ( now we’re talkin’ ). I have been using Babyface for a few years now and am pleased with the results.

I’m 80 years old and am constantly told I look 20 year younger. I’ve been using Night Renewal Cream for several years. I have no wrinkles (do have some sagging skin). I love the packaging; you don’t dip your fingers in a jar.

Only a small amount is needed each night; mine lasts me as long as 4 months so it is very economical.

It really helps with my blemishes, but keep in mind that I’m using more products from Payot.. Nevertheless, once I use it, I woke up with fresh, hydrated skin and my pimples tends to be less red..
