Comparing to previous 574: Shoe tongue is now thicker. Back heel now has space that makes running on toes and walking extremely uncomfortable! Especially for my deformed foot. Have been trying to fix it with lots of things, nothing helped.

Both these form changes contribute to discomfort. Design is a classic masterpiece, but color could be much better. Why bother with light concentrating thingies when some consumers want premium dark look? This is the only true full dark version of 574 sadly.

Give me the dark mode without lighting brand things! Overall, it’s a solid black option with design flaws.

I love these shoes the colors are popping. I gave 3 stars because when the shoes arrived it was clear one shoe had been tried on and had obvious creases in them already. The tissue was balled up and torn.

It’s like the person handling online returns didn’t even open the box. If I’m paying $100 plus for a pair of shoes I don’t want to see creases in them. However, when u called customer service they were extremely helpful they said I could return the shoes to any store but unfortunately they don’t sell NB in stores.

Yoooo. these shoes are super dope! Colorway is the illest! Bright, bold, and unique. I did a Shoe Review video on my IG page and I got nothing but compliments. Most never new New Balance had kicks like these.

(OK, a strip of duct tape inside the heel 😉 Keeping my 6 month old 993s in like-new condition for “clean” casual wear, and good weather walking and jogging on concrete.

Most comfortable shoes ever. Have gone through four pair in my lifetime. I like the 993 athletic shoe with its stability, firm, not squishy, shock cushioning for my 195 pounds, a roomy toe box and a narrowish heel.

Ran 10Ks in my first 993s in the olde days. Now I’m 77. Kudos to the New Balance USA 993 Team. Keep on keepin’ on.

I love that new balance still keeps these classics relevant. Was taken by surprise with the cool color way. Upon my first time wearing them, also heard random people in the background admiring them. Winners in my book.

I was a little worried about the blue color, but the picture online is exactly what they look like in real life. It’s a really nice gray-blue that is perfectly neutral without being boring.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought 2 pair (yep. optimistic!) and wore one pair ONCE. They lack support. One wearing, and my arch and heel were sore, even with orthotics. The tongue slides to the side, with no means to keep it in place.

Even the shoelaces are low quality. Because I need to wear white shoes one more time, I will add additional support and try to figure out how to keep the tongue from slipping to the side. I am returning one pair, and resent that I have to pay shipping.

They’re fine for occasional wear, but NOT for sports activities. (My sport is tennis. ).

IšverstiShow in original languageThe shoes are actually very supportive, and I have very high arches, they are also lightweight. I will say, the heals can slip if you don’t get proper size and cause some rubbing.

These shoes are NOT breathable. They are very hot, with socks, without socks, however you run – my feet are always excessively hot by the end of my jog/workout, which did not happen with my older pair of new balance nor other Merrell shoes I’ve used.

If that won’t bother you, I’d recommend these shoes as they do offer good support.

IšverstiShow in original languageI love these shoes. I have worn them for about a week, and I’m so glad I went with these. I typically buy Nike, and I’m not quite sure why I do. I have wide feet and Nike brand shoes are always snug in the width direction for me.

I typically do HIIT workouts with a lot of jumping and multidirectional movement, but we bought a treadmill about 2. 5 weeks ago, so I’ve been using that. I wanted an actual running shoe just for treadmill running, but I have little experience with just running shoes.

I saw these in the DSW app, did a little research and decided to buy them. First off, they are super light. Also, they are crazy comfortable, and to top it off perfect for my wide feet. They feel snug without being too tight width wise.

My foot feels like it has room to expand on impact. I will probably never buy another pair of Nike shoes.

IšverstiShow in original languageAs is with most New Balance Lifestyle model’s these 2002R’s are both fashionable and comfy as can be! They have a variety of colors to choose from (i choose the cream pair) and after wearing them a few times they are comfier than I anticipated given most of the comfy lifestyle pairs from New Balance are upwards of 200+ after taxes.

The quality of the materials are very nice even though they are not a “Made in USA/England” pair nice suede’s and breathable mesh. Sizing with this model i would recommend going TTS; I usually go down a half size on all 990 models but i went TTS on this pair and it fit well.

If i didn’t have other new balance shoes in those colors i would definitely get another pair.

IšverstiShow in original languageOverall: Very pleased with my purchase so far. Price is a bit high. Construction: These feel very similar to the 990 on foot. Great construction and cushioning, NB always hit that sweet spot of feeling solid but comfortable.

The heel especially feels good thanks to the additional layers of cushioning. Looks: Yes these are trendy. The midsole flares out and the additional padding adds heft to this shoe. The heel area especially looks very different with the split down the middle.

Some will like the style and some won’t. I think they look great with some straight-leg pants and relaxed clothing but skinny fits would look very odd with how big these shoes are. Additional thoughts: Would love to see these in a Made in US model! I understand that would increase the price and they are pricey already but I would pay extra to support local manufacturing.

IšverstiShow in original languageI fell in love with the silhouette when I saw it in the Brad Hall video for the sneakers he was going to wear this summer. In the video he had the JFG inside voices colab colorway.

I wanted a pair of 9060s but they were sold out and I wasn’t going to pay resell. So I waited until these dropped and I bought them the day they came out. I was a little iffy on the colorway but it grew on me and it looks better in person.

The shoe itself is very comfortable and stylish. There are hints of 3M and they basically go well with anything brown/black/cream/silver. Incredibly comfortable too. Hopefully there’s going to be an all grey colorway released soon as well.

Every iconic silhouette like 990v3 has its standard grey version. I believe this silhouette is the definition of being instantly iconic which can be seen from all the hype surrounding it. All it’s missing now is a full grey colorway to truly cement itself as such.

I’m really into the neutral aesthetic and these were a must cop! Loving the cool grey tones and the color blocking/placement! My only complaint would be the purchase process of waiting in a Que and not knowing or being sure that I am guaranteed access to purchase.

My package did arrive beat up & not in the condition of my liking, causing slight damage to my shoebox. I would also recommend not having the label of the brand on the actual shipping package. In demand/sold out sneakers have a wild way of disappearing during transit.

Over all I love my sneaker’s and can not wait to style an outfit around them!.

The 9060 is the third style I’ve tried from NB, and it has taken the lead in my top three favorite sneakers. The quality and comfort are superior, and to round it all off, the style is on point. Fit is TTS.

I typically wear an 8. 5 in other major brands. The 8. 5 might be a sliver larger than other brands, but not enough to make me size down. They go with a variety of outfits and I always get compliments from complete strangers when wearing these.

I wish there were other colorways available in my size bc I would snatch them up.

TraduciMostra in lingua originaleI love the new take on this model. It seems a bit futuristic which may not be everyone’s taste. It’s great to see New Balance try new things and step outside their boundaries with many other sneakers on the market.

The comfort on this just as good as many other new balance models. I went down a half size for a snug fit, I’d recommend to do the same if you like a tighter fit but otherwise sticking true to size works just fine.

As far as design goes, I’m hoping to see more color ways be released especially in the usual grey.

TraduciMostra in lingua originaleI ordered the mushroom color in a size 8. 5. I am a woman who normally wears a size 10 and these fit perfect and don’t look manly at all. I had such a hard time finding a pair or tan or beige shoes and they look just as pictured, almost like a dark tan/light brown.

The sole is a little taller than my women’s tennis shoes usually are, but it doesn’t bother me. The shoes do come with a warning/disclaimer that the brown color is natural suede and can bleed if they get wet.

I live in Albuquerque where it rarely rains so I’m not worry about bleeding but something to be aware of if you live in a city where it rains frequently. The ivory material on the insides of the shoes is almost like a structured windbreaker material so you can almost hear it crunch or swish when you’re walking, but I feel like it might go away with more wear.

But just a warning they’re not very quiet if that’s something you look for. The outside “N” does look a little bit wrinkled like the picture shows but it’s not bad and doesn’t bother me. I haven’t worn these very far or for very long stretches, but so far they’re comfortable.

IšverstiShow in original languageI got these shoes for walking my dog four-to-five miles seven days and to wear to my part-time job 3-to-4 hours a day four days a week. They are adequate and no more than that but it would be unfair of me not to qualify why I say that.

I suffered nerve damage from a series of backpacking trips carrying too much weight five years ago that have left me with a certain degree of numbness in my feet. These shoes are an improvement over my older Vasque hiking shoes that were wearing out, particularly with regard to the degree of cushion they provide.

Where they fall down is in the degree of support. When I first got these I hesitated and nearly returned them but decided to give them a chance. I have wound up getting another pair of sturdier walking shoes from another American retailer to use more regularly than these and will use these for lighter duty.

They’re decent shoes but if you’re 68 years old fighting numbness like me they may not be the ones you need. I know this review doesn’t apply to everybody which is why I wrote it the way I did. At the same time I suspect it does apply to some people.

IšverstiShow in original languageI first began to run in New Balance shoes while I was in school in Boston during the mid 1970’s We purchased our “320’s” at the company store in Brookline. Since then, I have purchased my New Balance shoes from small specialty retailers, the Jogg’n Shoppe in Arcate, CA for the last decade or so.

I was seriously disappointed when New Balance decided to stop supporting small retailers – who had been the faithful basis for the company’s growth and success. For this order, I bought my 990’s from a New Balance company web site, although it appears that they were shipped from a different organization located in Missouri.

My local retailer can no longer get New Balance shoes because he does not have “elite” status. I hope that New Balance’s management begins to see the error in their decision to favor large, on-line operations over the local shops that have been (and still are) working to serve their customers and keep them in high quality shoes.

I would hate to see New Balance go the way of so many other companies who have been squeezed out of business by low margin, on-line operations. New Balance’s 990’s are the only shoes that really work for me, and I hope that I can continue to have their quality and excellent design available to me.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is the best shoe that is made, but even as a female customer, I find that the men’s 6E width is not wide enough. Some people need a square type of toe, no tapering going forwards to the toes.

Some people’s feet do not get narrower towards the toe. I am disappointed that NB is coming out with so many pointed toe styles and nothing emphasizing a wide width and a square toe. The extra depth shoes of some orthopedic shoe companies are not the answer in this case.

Extra depth means that the toe is longer and higher – perhaps for a prosthetic insert. In addition, I don’t understand why there are 6E men’s shoes and not 6E women’s shoes. Personally, I would want 11E women’s shoes with a straight edge up to the end of the big toe and a basically square toe.

There are men’s 9E width shoes from some orthopedic shoe companies, but they are not made as well as New Balance, so I would want the quality of the New Balance shoe. I would be willing to pay more for this as compared to a regular size shoe because it is a matter of being able to walk optimally.

I loved them but unfortunately had to send them back as I managed to get the same runners in navy and silver elsewhere and couldn’t justify keeping both.

I really wanted to keep the white but as I live in Ireland once summer ends they would be hard to keep clean with all the rain etc. love my navy and silver ones. I got a size 5 and am usually a big 5/5.

5 in shoes. I’ve seen people say size up that they run small, I have wide feet but I didn’t think they ran big at all and are so comfy. Feels like walking on clouds. Hard to wear other shoes now these are so comfy.

The net is very thin so you can feel any temperature changes, while the silver parts are all thin plastic and started creasing with the first wear. The only thing making people pay this price is the hype for the brand, great marketing I guess.

£95 is really not worth it for this particular model, especially in English weather.

After that, I ordered again in a bigger size than the previous time and it arrived yesterday and it is really small, I don’t feel that there is any difference between the two at all, and I am returning it and will wait the refund for both shoes.

I am really disappointed and didn’t expect that. Please send the refund for both shoes as soon as possible. Thank you.

IšverstiShow in original languageThese are the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever worn! I have ankle issues due to osteoarthritis. My left ankle is fused so it doesn’t move; my right ankle has minimal synovial fluid and cartilage along with a peroneal tendon that slips with overuse.

I needed to find a good pair of shoes to exercise in that were well padded yet supportive and this is it. In fact, they’re so comfortable AND STYLISH I wear them even if I’m not exercising. I initially ordered in a size 7 Medium which is my normal size, but they were a little too narrow and short in length, so I reordered in a 7.

5 Medium, and they were perfect. I can also wear them with my custom-made orthotics (made for dress shoes) without needing to remove the insoles. I LOVE these shoes and highly recommend them to anyone who may have ankle, knee or hip issues, but maybe try going a half size up.

IšverstiShow in original languageAfter having a partial spinal fusion and a laminectomy, I struggled for YEARS to find sneakers I could wear for an extended period of time let alone walk for any distance in without paying the price afterward.

This is my 2nd pair of the Fresh Foam More V3. I ended up going to a specialized running shoe store to be fitted with something so that I could actually go out and walk a few miles in to get some exercise.

These, combined with some orthopedic insoles for my high arch, have made it so I am now able to walk between 10-15 miles a week and not be in agony for days afterward. I’m anxiously anticipating the V4 that I read is due out this fall as the few reviews that I’ve read from those who have been given a sneak peek have said that NB has made something that (IMHO) is already great and made it better!!! NB.
