4 GHz), upgrade to this and you will not be disappointed. What is great about this model, is that it comes with a separate antenna with a magnetic base. It does not include a low profile bracket, but Gigabyte sent me when I asked.

An internal USB cable is included to make use of Bluetooth. All drivers are automatically installed by Windows 10, no need to use the included CD. One thing I’ve learnt with Wi-Fi cards over the years – when Windows has completed installation of the drivers, check Device Manager that they are installed correctly, then reboot.

Believe it or not, this completes the installation fully, as the Wi_Fi may work but connection/speeds may be erratic without a reboot.

Cracking piece of kit. It’s a shame Intel don’t see it fit to make desktop versions of their WiFi cards, I guess most desktop’s just get connected up via Ethernet. But I’m glad Gigabyte have stepped in to bring to market a much needed quality product.

USB WiFi adapters are just so hit and miss, the market is flooded with cheap unreliable sticks. Not what you want when your reputation depends on shipping quality products. This hits the mark perfectly.

And as an added bonus it includes Bluetooth 5. 0 as well. Top marks Gigabyte. Well done. Addendum: Make sure your motherboard has a spare internal USB2. 0 header if you need the Bluetooth functionality this card provides.

Hopefully Gigabyte can make a future version that doesn’t need a separate USB2. 0 connection for the BlueTooth.

Lightning fast wifi. I bought a new motherboard which lacked wireless. I hunted down this item because it’s branded, it’s extremely fast, comes with a half decent antenna and represents good value at the price I paid.

I was not disappointed. I’m getting nearly 400 meg internet up and 38 down via my Virgin fibre router which is downstairs.

The TP-Link network adapter TG-3468 is great and easy to install in a pci-e slot. It is easily accepted by Windows 10, Mac, Linux and even Hackintosh. It is pretty much plug and play without additional drivers.

As a computer Technician, I can highly recommend this network card.

Bought a couple of these to upgrade old systems that only have 10/100 integrated. Performs better than some integrated 1Gbit adapters I’ve used for something with only a low end Realtek chipset.

The card installed easily and comes with both short and normal size brackets to fit a variety of computer cases. I did not require software to install it, even though it came with drivers. My Windows 10 OS found it immediately.

It works very well with my TP-Link Router.

Was a waste of money as the clerk said this will allow me to access the internet on my Dell desk top computer. I have a Spectrum router and modem in my living room – my desk is in a bedroom where my computer is so I cannot connect by a wire or cord.

When I purchased this software the clerk said nothing about downloading a disk just told me to plug in the device and nothing about a disk that would be included which I would have to download – found out that after I opened the package and read instructions.

This package of the device and disk are of no use to me now as the download would run and then stop at 90%. I have tried everything several or more times and no luck. So now will have to call a computer tech to come in and help me to get the internet on my Dell desk top computer.

I admit I am not at the level of a computer wiz but I would think that at Office Depot where I purchased this and asked for help they would be able to inform me.

PCs typically do not come with wireless adapters. But for this price, this definitely goddess through a graded federal exercise because the TVs would not work with video over CAT5. I can only recommend this product for temporary use because the TV started to flicker and then lose connection (LG BET model TVs).

There is always a lag on the no monitor because it is going over wireless, but that is to be expected. I never use the CDs in the box because I know that there is more recent software on the website.

But This is definitely a lifesaver.

My old laptop’s built-in wireless adapter died. This WIFI dongle is a good alternative. I like its size and the quality of the software: the physical size is very small, never shifted around when my laptop accidentally bumped into something.

Its device driver (for windows 10) appeared to be well written, my WIFI connectivity was stable. I have to say that its transmission speed is slower than my old build-in WLAN card, but this dongle is a good alternative if you don’t want to go through the hassle to replace the built-in device, especially for an old laptop.

With faster broad band I realized that my speed was being limited by the 10/100 on-board NIC. Luckily I had a spare PCIe slot and bought this card. Perfect!

The ethernet adapter gives me much higher speeds than the built in ethernet on my computer.

Excellent fibre NIC and really good value. Oh and it looks the business too. Scan remain my go to company for computers, monitors and general IT goodness, please keep up the great work.

Worked one week then it was dead. Wouldn’t connect to my Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch SFP port. Tried it in another computer and same result. Tried my other SFP port and same result. My router connects to my switch by SFP and it works on both of my switch SFP ports so it’s not my hardware.

It’s this network card. Returning it to get something better.

Bought two of these three months ago. Driver loaded without issue. File transfer is is over 1 GB/s! Used whatever 850nm 10G SFP I had laying around. Awesome!

After a quick install, the WiFi seemed to work great at first – ran a few tests on my internal network to see if I was getting the advertised performance and things started off great. I was getting file transfer speeds between devices on my network in excess of 900 Mbps – not exactly what it claims it can do.

I also ran some online tests and got a passable result of 920 Mbps to my ISP from ookla. So far so good right? Well, after about 20 minutes of use, I noticed that things slowed down dramatically. I went to check my connection status and is seemed like the device had dropped connection completely.

After a minute or so, it reconnected on its own and things seemed to be smooth again. This process never stopped. The longest the card was able to remain connected to my 5GHz network was about 33 minutes.

It constantly dropped the connection, and would take about 60 to 120 seconds to reconnect. This is my first TP-Link product and has honestly sort of ruined my interest in them because of how poorly the device performed.

Great card for price. WiFi is as good as any source it gets. Awesome part is I can Bluetooth my display and audio to my TV to watch movies from my computer without a cable connection or network. Only reason I have only given 4 instead of 5 starts is because the heatsink cover isn’t actually touching the components, there is a visible air gap (from the side) that appears like a thermal pad should be between them.

Meaning the heatsink is just for show. Either way card works great for price, and Asus one without a heatsink costs more anyway.

This is easily the fastest, best overall performing PCIe wifi/bluetooth adapter I’ve ever owned. However, I was very disappointed to learn that installing this device requires an available USB 2. 0 header on the motherboard, in addition to the open PCIe slot.

To make this work, I had to disconnect my front panel USB 2. 0 slots. Not a huge loss, but disappointing because nothing in the description of this product, or its images, indicated or showed a USB 2.

0 requirement. I’ve seen wifi only PCIe adapters that don’t require USB 2. 0, but due to lack of vendor provided specs on their products, I don’t know if a wifi/bluetooth adapter is possible without using a USB 2.

0 header (excluding a USB dongle). Feedback welcome.

I have bought one and used it for my cheap Medion notebook that doesnt have Ethernet and on which I run Linux Gentoo. It worked out of the box, without any special drivers needed obviously with drivers from stock kernel.

I didnt bother to measure transfer speeds but it behaved well, there were no slow or stalled transfers, it tidnt everheat etc. Good, cheap, small, simple. No negatives come to mind.

Die Probleme traten wie folgt auf 1. Die Treiberinstallation dauerte ca 30 min 2. Das Gerät wurde nicht erkannt 3. Nach ein paar Stunden habe ich es erneut probiert und das Gerät wurde plötzlich erkannt und funktionierte auch so ca 8 Stunden und hat auch übertragungsraten von ca 900 MBits geleistet.

4. Nach dieses 8 Stunden hatte ich plötzlich keine Netzwerkkonnektivität mehr und mein Rechner stützte mit einem Bluescreen ab. 5. Dann wollte ich den Treiber wieder deinstallieren dies dauerte auch ca 30 min und dann startet der Rechner neu mit der Meldung das der Treiber nicht deinstalliert wurde.

Eine Systemwiederherstellung ist auch nicht möglich. Jetzt muss ich gucken wie ich mein System wiederherstellen kann. Betriebssystem ist ein Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit An einem anderen Computer wo keine ASIX Chipsatz treiber installiert sind funktioniert das Gerät einwandfrei.

p. s. Ich habe Digitus den Fehler geschildert mit Log Protokoll des Installationsverlaufes und die meinten das alles in Ordnung wäre und es kein Treiberupdate nötig wäre. Bewertung Mindfactory SEHR GUT dank unkomplizierter rücknahme.
