Just like the review below, myer have sent a (completely) different pokemon TCG pack to what is advertised. What the reviewer beneath does not realize, is that the advertisement says it contains 5 Pokémon TCG Packs.

It contains only 4. Myer refuses a partial refund for the value of what is missing, and product still advertised incorrectly.

I received 2 totally different tins which isn’t even in the description. I assumed ‘randomly selected’ means either the Tyranitar or Empoleon. If I knew otherwise, I wouldn’t have bought it since I’ve already got the Eeveelution tins!.

Didn’t get what was pictured they pick them randomly and what’s in the tin isn’t worth the money better off buying booster packs for cards. They didn’t even send a v strikers tin at all rather some crap evee tins.

My Grandson loves Pokemon and he has collected so many cards that the container tin was appreciated by his parents. He found 2 rare cards in the tin.

I have only given this 3 stars because the pin which is sealed inside with plastic packing on top to protect it had a scratch the full length and paint off the tail. Also the card that came with it as a bonus was bent.

Their solution travel to Smyths toys. Not happy spending that much money and then having to spend again to travel with it to Smyths. Fair warning if you are buying as a collector.

This was such an amazing set! For the price, they give you 8 boosters, a shiny eevee pin, shiny eevee card, and a shiny eevee play-mat. The fact that they also include pokemon go promo codes is awesome! Had only a couple duplicates(of a pokemon i love anyways) and the rest were insane good pulls! definitely recommend.

This was my first pokemon go product and I was so happy with the value and quality of everything in the box. I use the playmat included and the beautiful pin! You get 10 booster packs and a rare radiant eevee promo card which looks amazing in real life.

Lapel pin included is excellent quality! Really enjoyed opening these packs. Great pulls. A fun set with lots of card art variety. I like seeing less dull CGI type card art. It was fun finding a Ditto card and this was a cute little feature that made me smile.

In the future I would like to see better card quality. Disappointing to have uneven borders on cards, bent edge cards and/or curled cards. Quality control is a must for this price! Overall this set is an excellent purchase and would make a fantastic gift for your fellow trainers!.

This is a great value. It’s the latest in special sets from Pokémon, meaning you can only get these packs in various collection boxes, tins or ETBs. You get 8 packs, the Radiant Eevee promo card (textured by the way), a neat enamel Eevee pin and a Radiant Eevee playmat.

Came as expected. A little beat up but I was planning on opening it versus putting this one up for display. Everything inside the box was fine just the corners where a bit beat up. If you want a pristine box i recommend getting it in store instead of online.

I was very hesitant to buy single packs, but I figured I would take a risk and bought a variety of packs. In times where tampering, weighing, etc are rampant, I really appreciated that these packs were authentic.

I had some amazing pulls and can now say that I trust this store inherently. Thank you for great business practices.

With classic art work from the original WotC era on a modern card it brings the classic Pokmon collecting feeling to the modern collector at an affordable price and stock for all. With the growing popularity of original fans and new ones this set strikes a place where the two can converge and will also be in no time at all a classic like the sets its fashioned from.

I did NOT get the Pokémon “XY Evolutions” but rather the “Shining Fates” pack. AND THEY WERE ALL COMPLETELY FAKE. Not even good fakes, horrible fakes.

Really good value, a nice addition for people who are fans of Snorlax or want to have a sealed product that isn’t expensive.

I just want to say TY to DG for carrying pokemon cards at a company that has rural locations. So many big box stores are always sold out or a dealer buys all they receive. They mark up the price to resale online or in specialty stores.

Then you have to worry about the cards being gone through and revealed. I like to buy my grandson a booster pack when he does good things as motivation to be a good person. DG is the only place within 30 miles that has them in stock 99% of the time.

I just want to show my appreciation for doing so. I do recommend selling them from behind the counter as I’ve heard it is a high theft item. I don’t want to loose the ability to find these because of thieves.

I have found opened packages on shelves of many stores. Please don’t let these lowlifes ruin it for the honest people. TY.

This is one of the coolest sets pokemon has ever made it is so nostalgic. Almost every card in this set is a perfect replica of the original base set with only a few small minor changes. There is just something exciting about pulling amazing cards from this set it makes me feel like a child all over again.

It is very depressing about the current state of the pokemon trading cards. There is just none to be found this day and time. I really wish things would go back to the way they were. I miss the thrill of opening pokemon cards.

My family loves playing Pokemon together. I was excited to give this set to my 8 year old son, because Eevee and Eevee’s evolutions are some of our favorites. It’s awesome that this set is complete with 9 builds, including Eevee.

My son was very excited to get started building by himself, but he did need a bit of help. Most of the parts are pretty easy to put together, but there are some that take a bit more finesse. My husband and I enjoyed building along with him, and it only took us about 15-20 minutes to put together our first figures.

I found that sorting the similar parts first made it go quicker. We think the directions could be a bit clearer, but they were fairly easy to follow. We were confused for a minute because sometimes it will show what looks like one piece being added, but really it is a combination of multiple pieces.

I think the individual pieces for each step should be listed, but it was easy enough once we figured that out. The figures are really fun with great articulation of the head, legs and tail. Some of the parts like Jolteon’s collar and tail have a nice rubbery feel.

The materials look nice and seem durable. This is a set that can be played with or displayed or both. I definitely recommend this set. This was our first time trying Pokemon Mega Construx, but my son has already added more to his wish list.

The organization and packaging of this construction set is well done! There are 9 separate evolutions of Eevee and each iteration is in its own separate container with the specific pieces and instructions.

The instructions were a little difficult to follow as there are not very clear step by step depictions so adult assistance was sometimes necessary. The pieces also are not as high quality; some pieces did not connect tightly and fell apart easily after attaching to connecting pieces.

It also might be helpful to have extra pieces in case small pieces are lost. Otherwise, construction of the various Eevee figures was fun and playing with the completed figures was even more enjoyable!.

Both of my kids (8 and 11) love Pokémon, so they were very excited about this toy. It has the pieces and instructions to build Eevee and all 8 evolutions. Each evolution is sealed in its own compartment so the pieces don’t get mixed up.

My kids sat down and worked together building them without any arguments. This was our first Mega Construx kit and I loved the instructions. The dots in each step are color coded to make it easy for the kids to know where to place each piece.

My daughter has been carrying these toys around with her for days after building them. She even slept with them in her bed one night. This was so much fun and we are planning to buy more kits to go with it.

The cards and everything inside I got very lucky getting what I was looking for and the case box is perfect no bends and open. Thank you so much for packaging and sent to my place 🙂

I really like these tins, and mine came well packaged. I only got 1 Ultra Rare but it was still fun to open. Just bad luck.

Product arrived safely and we’ll packaged. It’s a little higher than MSRP but you get all three tins which is better than a gamble if you only want one of three.

I have bought multiple of these and they are always in excellent condition. The transporters for these packs are very gentle and it is always great service at target. Thank you.

The game is really fun! It’s a classic Pokemon game, meaning you are a trainer that is designated a starter Pokemon and must venture out to defeat several gym leaders to become the champion in the Pokemon league.

Instead of random encounters, you will now see Pokemon or a “!” when you are near an encounter, therefore they can now be avoided more easily. Pros: -fun and easy to pick up for all ages -multiplayer options like online battles, dynamax “raid” style battles -camping creates a dynamic where you can heal out in the wild and increase Pokemon stats and levels -portable or docked modes -pokeball plus support (not as controller) -you can play with one hand! Great for injured, Veterans, disabled! Cons: -much too easy.

Now all Pokemon gain experience in your party even without experience share. Most trainers encountered only have one Pokemon. I’ve not been sent back to nearest Pokemon center once! -does not include all Pokemon in the pokedex.

No excuses! -cheap Galarian variant Pokemon -DLC. It’s $30 for the expansion pass, an extra 50% of the cost of the game, to play about an extra 20% more content, all of which used to be included in the mainline titles as post game content.

Not anymore. Pay up! You won’t even see all of the new generation Pokemon without the pass! You can’t evolve some of the Pokemon you catch in the game without the pass! -Expansion pass is not for both games! You must pay $60 to get both expansion passes! What used to cost you $39 for each game ($120 for all three versions each generation excluding x and y, black and white) about $120 total is now $180! Oh, and you don’t get 3 different copies of the game that will grow in value! Eventually they’ll close servers and the $60 you spent will disappear and not grow to $300 in value like say Pokemon emerald did.

-tiny, linear mainline map. Less open world than gen 3. Sad. Neutral: -no voice acting. Everything must be read, which is great for helping kids learn better reading comprehension, but in 2019 and 2020 seems WAAAAAY outdated.

-pokemon still make midi noises. A giant dynamax Pokemon that sounds like a pager/dial up tone is supposed to be intimidating? -clumsy controls. One handed mode will not allow you to rotate camera in wild area.

-graphical capabilities could have been much better optimized. This looks way outdated and switch hardware isn’t an excuse. Have you seen The Witcher 3 on switch? Doom? BOTW? It can handle higher fidelity.

Do they really expect me to shell out $30/$60 for the expansion passes when I’ve already bought both games? Overall it’s just okay, but i hope they learn from these mistakes. If not, this is my last time investing into Pokemon unless it’s the old stuff for collection.

This same review will be posted for shield, where the only difference is the legendary and some swapped gym leaders and trainers, very very miniscule Pokemon variation.

This set is actually very beautiful, the artwork is phenomenal, especially the SR Alt arts. I didn’t like the fact they left out couple of Eevee-lutions without the Vmax card. The set is small (relatively), but feels like a big set with all of the SR cards.

A lot of chase cards, it’s gonna take some time(and money) to collect all of them! Been fortunate enough to get one of the highly chased cards in this set. Overall, highly recommended set!.

The Pokemon Sword & Shield: Eevee Heroes has to be one of my favorite Japanese Pokemon sets this year. Recently purchased the Booster Box and would definitely purchase more. This set will continue to grow in value as the years pass.

Have great pull rate and are always guaranteed 2 vmax’s and a bunch of V’s and smaller holos but lots of fun to rip open with someone and add some nice carss to the collection especially if you like your Japanese sets! This is one of my favorites!.

I’ve bought 3 of these Evolving Skies Stadium packs now. The battle starter decks are random. my first pack had two Moltress decks. the other two were: zapadose/moltress and zapadose/articuno. All three rare birds! call me happy! The starter decks are different for the different birds.

I’ve only looked at the moltress and zaps decks so far though.

For $50 it’s a great buy. It comes with 12 Evo Skies packs which usually go around for about $5 nowadays ($60 value). And, it comes with everything else you need to start playing! (including a brick of energy cards you can use as a weapon lol) Pull rates are standard for the TCG (1 hit per 5 packs, so expect around 2 hits) Overall, amazing! I would buy again if I had the money :).

To make it very clear, I am a long-time Pokemon fanatic. Ever since I was a child, Pokemon has held a special place in my heart. From playing the games, watching to the Anime series, to collecting toys and Pokemon Cards.

I cannot explain the excitement and anxiety I have until a new game releases- each new release sets my expectations HIGH!!! Pokemon Sword and Shield did NOT disappoint me in the slightest. I was really pleased to finally play on an update console with the new style graphics.

Big tick on it being aesthetically pleasing. I was immediately impressed. Controls as always are simple, and easy to quickly pick up for anyone, even children and novice gamers. You definitely get that British feel in the Galar region (and this is coming from someone who lives in the UK).

A few things were a little off, but I’ll overlook it- such as cringey dialect and phrases. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Was a bit weird. But again, not a hugely irritating factor. Gameplay for battles was no different to other Pokemon games, but I do like that.

Nostalgic, and you’re able to dip right into it. But the visuals and animations always have some surprises. The Dynamax feature is reallyyyy nice. I wasn’t expecting to see some of the visual Dynamax changes to the Pokemon- which was fantastic.

There were a lot of different, and new features in Sword and Shield- at first I’m usually skeptical about these as they truly do make or break a game. Maybe not for everyone, but for me, I do like familiarity in Pokemon.

Great to see new Pokemon introduced, including Legendary ones. It’s a nice addition to existing pokemon fans and new ones. The Wild Area and Dynamax dens are cool updates to the gameplay, easy way to level up and obtain Dynamax Pokemon for yourself! I actually really enjoyed the Camping feature, and extremely thankful to have the ability to play and level up friendship with your Pokemon.

One of my favourite features in the franchise over the years have been Pokemon Amie, and contest shows- although the camping play wasn’t as fun as these, it definitely is needed. I could honestly go on and on about this game, but I’d rather leave it for yourself- you won’t regret this game!!! Just don’t go and spend all your money on fancy outfits like me!!!! My guilty pleasure.

I got this game for myself right after it came out and I play it all the time! My sister in law came over a few weeks ago and decided to create her own profile on our docked switch and we all played my version of sword and had a great time, so for Christmas, my wife and I decided to get my SIL a switch lite and this game as well as Animal Crossing New Horizons and let me just say it is a great experience! There is a lot of backlash from hardcore fans who want Nintendo to go in a completely different route for the new Pokémon games, but as someone who has been playing since 2007, I think it’s one of the best games they’ve put out so far and the DLC really added to it! The main storyline is relatively easy and it’s obvious that it is trying to appeal to a younger and newer audience, which I personally don’t mind and completely understand.

I think for those specific reasons, I was able to not only get my wife, but also my SIL interested in the game. It has great new Pokémon for the region and the wild area is such a new and cool thing to explore and they really expand on it even more in the DLCs which I personally think are 100% worth the extra $30! Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing are two new features in this game as well as opposed to old games and overall I would say it’s just new and fun! It has hints of the old games and some nostalgia, but for the most part, it’s a new story and it has something very new to a Pokémon game and that’s how user friendly it is for online play.

To me, it is a fantastic game, I’m probably gonna buy shield for myself soon and I would recommend this to quite literally anyone. You could have never played a Pokémon game in your life and know nothing about it and still have fun with this game or to the opposite side, you could have been playing since red and green came out and still have a blast on this expansive and interactive game on Nintendo’s newest and arguably greatest (thus far) console to date!.

I like many others grew up playing pokemon and have continued to support the franchise as an adult. This game adds a few updates like the wild area that have not been done before in Pokemon. These changes are nice but the truth is that this series has been glacial in its updates and feels and often looks like a game from 10 years ago.

This series needs drastic changes to rival any premier modern RPG game from this generation but sadly seems doomed to continue to coast on its name value. I hope we eventually get to see a version of Pokemon that feels next gen.

I would reccomend this for kids or huge fans of the franchise, if like me you have felt burned out by the last few of these you may want to consider skipping this one.

If you’ve watched any Poketubers, you’ve probably seen a few of these tins from across the years used as backgrounds in some of those videos. There’s a good reason, they tend to look quite nice even after being opened, and are cheaper than booster boxes haha.

These tins are quite nice, the artwork on the tins themselves is improved over some of the larger tins from last year. The pack selection is also really good, two Brilliant Stars and one Evolving Skies, plus a Fusion Strike and a Chilling Reign in both of mine.

The promo cards are alternate arts that can only be gotten from these tins, but mechanically identical to earlier cards. All in all, I was very happy to receive mine, and got a few good pulls to boot.

Beautifully decorated, includes Brilliant Stars and Evolving Skies packs, the Eevee Evolution Heroes Tins make terrific gifts for friends and my nephews. Over the Brick has them for the best prices online!.

Astral radiance build and battle box is a really good deal. It came with a few trainers, Pokemon and energy staples needed to build a deck. It also includes a few Astral Radiance packs that increase your chance of pulling one of the new Pokemon V or Vstar Pokemon.

Definitely worth the buy if you’re getting back into the TCG, cheaper than an ETB and definitely worth the price.
