I purchased this bag for International and US travel. I use packing cubes and pack light. We have tested this bag for an upcoming 3 week trip. There is no issue getting everything we need into the bag including a large blow dryer and all of my wife’s hair accessories – that is saying something.
My wife has an older TravelPro spinner wheel bag which we love but it is too large for the international overhead space and some of the smaller US regional jets. We only travel with TravelPro and if this bag is like our other bags, it will last a long time and if the wheels go bad, we’ll just call TravelPro customer service and get a new set.
We keep a larger TravelPro to check when we travel between homes. We do not check bags of this size so they last a long time because they don’t get thrown around in baggage handling. You might pay a bit more for TravelPro but it is definitely worth it as these bags are built well and are backed with great customer service.

Do not buy travel pro. It is cheap and to be punctured and ripped on one trip is unacceptable for this type of luggage. I fly first class and my luggage is last on and first off and tagged priority and usually treated very well.

This carry-on is stylish, and functions well. I ordered the purple and the color is exactly as pictured. I was looking to replace my older carry-on, due to it not being a spinner. I wanted that ease a spinner gives you of getting through the airport with all of your gear.
I took away one star as I missed the exterior pockets my older carry-on had for those things that you want to access in an airport without having to completely open up your bag, such as your phone charger, book, sunglasses, snacks, etc.
If you also take a large purse that holds those things, this will not be a big deal for you. I do not. I only carry a phone size crossbody bag, so I needed that quick access.

I have several carry-on luggage. But I had a specific trip through a couple of airports, in and out of Ubers, and through cobble stone streets. I wanted something with four wheels to easily push and keep hands free, sturdy, organizational perks, and of course stylish.
The outside – The hard shell is textured but still easy to wipe clean. The four wheels are smooth and turn on a dime. The handle glides in and out of its sleeve. The combination lock is simple to set a code and come in handy when needing to place it temporarily in luggage storage.
The inside – It is lined with a luxurious looking and feeling fabric. One side completely zips, so when you fold it close, your things stay put and don’t topple out. Plus a mesh pocket and a sleeve for a portable battery pack for the charing USB port on the outside for electronic devices.
Didn’t need this feature but it’s nice to know that it’s there. The other side is open and has two straps that clasp over the center to hold things in place as well. I was able to travel for one week with this an a smaller personal item bag without any space issues.

This carry-on piece of luggage is an absolute dream. Although I have not used this for traveling yet, from the onset, the appearance is luxurious and lovely in color (chocolate brown). The zippers feel heavy duty and open smoothly and also have the ability to be locked.
The USB plug is convenient but wish for the price tag, the powerbank actually came with the luggage. The inside compartments were large enough for a few days worth of travel and I loved the soft feel of the material used.

Not sure if I’ve received a duff one as there are plenty of good reviews. Suitcase looked great when it arrived. Pushing it along at the airport I realised the handle would occasionally fall down when supposedly locked in the intermediate position while pushing it around.
On my return one zip would not engage and I had to secure the case with with the other zip. The seam on the inner netting also ripped whilst being done up. Awaiting return instructions from Rymans.
After looking at this brand for a while I was so pleased to see Robert Dyas had a sale on this product! (it definately made my trips spending money that bit brighter!) The quality of the case is great and it has been reliable and sturdy, and I love the lock on the side all built in and easy to personalise with your own code.

So, we ordered two of the Navigator 37’s for a trip to the Cannes Yachting Festival and then on for a tour of Italy. In addition, we ordered the tech case as we needed to bring a laptop. We got the second Navigator 37 two hours before we had to leave for the airport and did a quick transfer of contents…not super organized.
However, we were amazed at how the Navigator swallowed up everything in the Patagonia bag with room left over. We brought the Patagonia bag as a day bag to bring home gifts. VERY impressed with how quickly they were delivered and how easily tracked the whole experience was…just in time! Overall we both loved the bags.
Only issue was dealing with the front zippered compartment that accessed the laptop as the zippers are a bit to manage at first. As they wore in, everything was easy to access. The two main compartments were great at accommodating folded dress shirts in cubes (2 gallon Ziplocks).
We loved the larger wheels of the roller bag as beyond Cannes, we were in Venice, Lake Como and then on to Cinque Terre which definitely favored two wheels over four. All in all, we were on multiple airlines, boats, trains and cars and the Navigator Bags exceeded our expectations.
We will probably expand our selection as we fine tune the Nomatic offerings. We already have our eyes on the new, collapsable back pack. Cheers, MAD.
This carry-on luggage although very tough and durable with a lot of storage and compartments for laptops, chargers, and easy access, it is heavy. I bought this knowing that it only had 2 wheels but thought that it would be light to compensate for the missing wheels.
The degisn is beautiful and the back portion very durable. However, carrying this with 4 days’ worth of clothes added to my back pain. It was inconvenience to tug along and move while in a seated position due to the weight.
If this had 4 wheels, I would have scored this a 5 stars! Nomatic has to revisit their design to make this more lightweight. It is perfect to match with other matching products and bundles but if I could return this for their other 4-wheeler carryon, I would! It would definitely be a game changer so it will truly be a carryon and not a checked-in luggage.
Seriously, I caught a few people checking out my new carry-on 37L. My wife has a Tumi roll-on — the Nomadic is lighter and carries a larger load, and that’s without using the expansion space. The organization works well for me, a very experienced traveller.
The only thing I’d ask for is a pocket or compartment of some sort to keep the fluids bag for easy access at the security point. But, keeping the bag at the top of the main compartment works well enough.

We need a 22x14x9 carry on bag for american air. This promised 20x8x13 so I thought we were in the clear. The bag arrives and now says 21″ which is fine but the actual measurements are 21x13x9. 5. If we put anything in the front pockets it will be way over the dimensions.
I don’t want to get to the airport and be told to check the bag. Im not sure how forgiving they are being these days. Finding carryons which meet the new luggage requirements is so frustrating. They all claim “carry on” so check your actual measurements!.
I have one purchased this for gift. I liked it so much I wanted someone else to have one. It would also make a great gift to any one going to college. Mine is a NFL bag. We use ours going to games. They make many ways.
This mat is bright and beautiful – just like our Hawks! I just wish BBB IT dept was such. I’ve had nothing but trouble trying to create an account and password. Its really too bad because I would shop more if it was easier to log on.

I bought this is December. I took 2 trips. A wheel broke on the 2nd trip. Another wheel broke on the 3rd and I had to have my cabin steward throw in the trash for me because luckily, I was able to find a new suitcase in Jamaica that would get me home.
It doesn’t even deserve 1 star! I want my money back.
Hey everyone if you buy, be careful when opening the box. The suitcase is inside of a thin but nice bag that is meant to be reusable. So don’t jab your scissors in there bc you will break that little outer bag.
The whole thing looks to be very strong, nice wheels, zippers, etc. Everything great! Suggestion for Roam would be to give us even more customizability. A few more color options, how about let us choose the color of each handle instead of all handles at once.
Or make each wheel a different color. Or options for sides that have textures, graphics, or gradients. Or especially let us change the color of the retractable handle. Anyway great work. I wish there was a ZERO star- or a negative star. We were on a family vacation and leaving from DC to SFO. While packing- not at all over stuffing the bag- one of the zippers just came off. And then while walking down the jet way- the bag opened up and broke- clothes everywhere.
It was comical but a total pain. We had to carry it- did I mention I had to do this with a broken ankle? People had to stop and help me and my family. Then we got yelled at by the airplane personnel because the bag was all over the place and we didn’t have room to put all the clothes in the other bags.
Then we had to carry it off. Lame. i bought your bag because I have only AWAY bags and thought I would try something new but nope. Got home and ordered the AWAY. It was the worst purchase ever.
i’m not one to normally review products — i’m typically pretty easy going and easily satisfied with most things i buy. i can confidently say, this is the worst $300 i have ever spent. first, the suitcase was delayed in arriving by 2 weeks, and didn’t come in time for my designated trip.
when i was finally able to use it, the zipper snagged/broke upon the first zip. the bag was moderately packed, not overstuffed. the zipper is poor quality. i was able to repair it, but it came unzipped as soon as i loaded the suitcase on the scale at the airport.
after it’s first flight, the bag was badly scuffed — the paint is poor quality, and any rubbing against the suitcase scratches/dings it. after wheeling it to my location after the airport, the handles are badly worn/showing marks from being moderately handled? i haven’t even flown home with it yet, and am embarrassed to say it looks cheap, and badly worn.
i suppose if you’re looking for a suitcase to look attractive in your closet, and not actually travel with it – this might be a good option. if you’re hoping to do anything at all with it other than stare at it from within your home — i suggest an alternative.
