20 Best Lubricants For Skateboard Bearings (2023 Updated)

Upside: clean to use unlike other lubricants/greases Downside: needs to be slightly more viscous for bearing use. When the bearing heats up from use the lube tends to be p**sing out of the bearing caps.

All weather bike chain lubricant works better.

This is a very good product for lubrication of shafts passing through bushings and plain-sleeve bearings. It seems to be impregnated with PTFE or a similar substance. But I was expecting a type of a grease with a paste consistency.

I need to lube the ball-bearings of some drive-chain tensioner wheels ( made from re-shaped skateboard wheels) on dirt-bikes. I will inject the grease through a passage drilled into the 5/16″ (8mm) axle bolts for the modified skateboard wheels to do this.

Do you have a grease with the similar PTFE type of lubricants impregnated in it?.

I have always used this for years and then tried an oil called “Ionic Flux” It electro statically bonds to the bearings and is thinner, but seems to last as long as Speed Cream , whilst DEFINITELY allowing your bearings to spin faster.

It also polishes the insides of your bearings due to nano particles within the liquid. I thought that was sales waffle initially, but I have been very impressed. with it. Give it a try.

I recommend Super Lube Synthetic Multipurpose Grease! I is a perfect grease for drive screws not to thick and not to thin. I use it in a area were there is a large amount of brass shaving’s and dust and the shaving’s do not cling to the grease.

I use to use white lithium grease which caked up and hardened into the screw drives and also the brass would get stuck in the white lithium which would cause the drive screws to strip out the part the drive screws were designed to move.

The Super Lube work’s much better and does not cake up and harden. I now buy this in bulk and also send it out to our Field Service Reps to use.

Great synthetic lube and is sanitary as well enough for food grade repairs and lubrication. I have been using this on all rubber parts and orings on my pool filter system for the last 8-10 years. Never failed me.

This is also a great gun assembly lube because of its thick consistency it wont run or drip. I wont use anything else from AR’s to Glks.

I read many recommendations in pinball forums and YouTube videos for this product for electromagnetic pinball machine lubrication as this grease does not coagulate or attract/retain dirt. I could not find this in any hardware store in my area, so very happy to see HD offer this online.

This stuff is precisely what I needed to get an old USA500 back in tip top shape for fishing. Came fast, packaged well and works as advertised. No ragerts.

I dropped one of my surf rods in the sand and got sand in the internals. After taking it apart and using Ardent Reel Butter my reel was better than when brand new.

If you are a serious, or even a novice fisherman, keeping your reels well maintained is just common sense. Using the best lubrication should be also. Buy the best. Buy Ardent 0201 Reel Butter. A little goes a long way.

No oily residue. It worked great on my sliding door track. My garage door guy told me about it. But it didn’t help my vertical blinds to slide easier in the track. So I had to use WD-40 for that

This is the best product EVER! I used to use WD40 to lubricate squeaks and get stuck items moving easily. This is clean. Its not oily and doesnt collect gunk.

This is an extremely slick lubricant. We have an old glass sliding door that the rollers are worn out which makes it very hard to slide. This is the only lubricant that I have found that helps the door slide easily.

I work on salt water boats and have tried all the products I normally use but this lubricant was the best.

Handy little fridge, I use mine to go in my Conway Tardis trailer tent when weve got an electric hook up for camping. Its pretty quite, never stopped us from getting to sleep. The rest of the time its in the garage for overspill food shopping and beer.

Mainly beer I looked at some similar ones with cool designs on them eg. Rubix cube, jack Daniels etc, but they were more expensive but essentially the same fridge. So went for this second hand from someone who used it for 3 months while they were having their kitchen fitted.

So got it for 60 and bought a Hong Kong Fui sticker to slap on the front of it. Looks great.

It was year old but works perfectly very pleased. It has good space and freezer just enough for university student use also energy efficient.

This fridge gets so cold that items specially in the back freeze. Quite a neat little wonder. Delivery was fast and well packed. Swapping the doors to the right was a bit of a challenge as the plastic corks for the top were poor quality and broke while removing.

One ended up falling inside and got stuck into the foam layer. There is loads of space inside for food, milk etc. Quite happy with the purchase.

Go to the Super Lube website and the product description and technical specs are impressive. I use this product in the garage and around the house as a replacement for Aerospace Lubricants Inc. TRIBOLUBE brand “Synthetic Spray Grease”, and LUBRIPLATE brand “Spray Lube A white lithium grease”.

Both of which are excellent products but cost more. The best uses I have found so far for the Super Lube brand “Multi-Purpose Synthetic Lubricant (part no. 31110)” aerosol spray grease are to lubricate the distributor cam for points ignition in older cars and bikes, and to lubricate the ignition advance weights and springs behind the points plate in the Harley Shovelhead motorcycles.

And of course just about anything else with moving parts. I also have found it great for lubing windshield wiper motor worm drives, VW steering box gears, wheel bearings, accelerator and choke cable internal lube, freeing up stubborn and sticky lock sets, tool box drawer slides, etc.

I have been using Super Lube for years. The product never lets me down. Great Lubricant for tools and other DIY applications such as locks and lawn equipment.

I use this for a few things. It is sort of the consistency and look of a thin STP(automotive oil additive). I use it on external lathe gears and rack and pinion gears on a plasma table. It sticks, doesn’t fly off and and also repels dirt pretty well.

I use other products for penetrant uses.

This was the first commercially marketed skateboard bearing formula lubricant to my knowledge. Since it’s inception, it remains the most talked about bearing treatment among skateboarders of all styles.

It’s an essential tool for the skater’s tool box.

I honestly don’t think this is any better than any other lube, though I don’t think it’s worse. It certainly has the “Equal-i-er tax” added to it, in that it’s far too expensive for what you get. It’s just lube being used on surfaces that see very little heat and movement.

The reason though to buy this is the packaging. I’ve been towing a lot of years and containers of axle grease are disgusting and messy and if you try to bring it on the road with you something will always fall on it and knock the lid off and cause a mess.

Axle lube is disgusting to deal with. This however comes in a nice sized container that is secure and can be thrown in a bag without any risk of the lid coming off and coating everything it comes in contact with.

Because of that I will likely purchase more when my existing tube runs out. It’s just a lot of money for very very little product.

Since we bought our camper last year, we’ve turned heads every time we’ve entered a campground. But for all the wrong reasons. Our Equal-i-zer hitch popped, creaked, and groaned every time we hit a bump or made a sharp turn.

As we drove through the campground to our site, everyone we passed stopped what they were doing to see what was causing all the noise. My initial research (both online and in talking to other campers) implied that the noise is normal, and is a by-product of the weight-distribution and sway control features of the Equal-i-zer hitch.

But all that noise sounded anything but normal, so I kept looking for a solution to this noisy problem. Finally I found mention of Equal-i-zer’s High Performance Lubricant and the Equal-i-zer Sway Bracket Jackets, and purchased both.

I installed the Bracket Jackets, and applied the lubricant to the ball, hitch head, and tops and bottoms of the sway tension bar sockets. When towing with the jackets installed and the lubricant applied, I noticed absolutely no reduction in sway control.

The only thing I noticed is that towing my camper is now a much, much quieter experience! This past weekend when we drove through the campground, no one even noticed we were there. While I expect that the lubricant alone would have reduced a lot of the hitch noise I was hearing, combining the lubricant with the Bracket Jackets nearly eliminates hitch noise.

The amount of noise reduction is truly amazing. I consider this a great product and a great purchase, and when it runs out I will without hesitation buy it again.

Bought this to use on my Equal-i-zer hitch (14,000 lb. model). Appears to be quality grease and reduced some of the noise I had hoped it would. The first tube I received was damaged but they replaced it right away.

If your using this for the Equal-i-zer hitch be sure to read the manual because your only supposed to apply it to certain designated areas of the hitch.

If you are looking for blue marine grease used extensively in bikes this is the one. Thick and creamy and VERY water resistant (try washing it off your hands. ). My go to grease for bottom bracket, wheel hub bearings and internal gear hubs.

I like using the Marine grease for equipment that is stored outdoors as it seems to hold up better

I bought this to try and fix a balcony door that is supposed to slide but sticks. This is the third product I have tried and of the three it’s the most useless. None were great. WD40 worked the best but stinks and barely lasts a couple of weeks.

Not worth the smell. PB50 stunk less but worked less too. With Jig A Loo I should have stopped at the stupid name. It didn’t stink which is why I bought it but didn’t work either, like didn’t work at all.

I’m down to Pam cooking spray next. Couldn’t be any worse.

The lube smells good, but I find it didn’t lubricate as well as I was hoping. I used it on my toolbox sliders and found it made no difference at all. I tried it again to lube a small crank for a trailer, and still didn’t help a whole lot.

I accidentally ran it over with my truck and the van exploded, but it did leave a nice smell in the air lol.

Excellent lubricant BUT, as another reviewer noted, the straw is the wrong diameter for the spray nozzle. It doesn’t fit, rendering the product useless or messy for most applications. A clear quality control issue.

Very disappointing. Will be returning it.

For my speedplay pedals one of 2 this one is green (fine) used in speedplay gun exact right size of course. Counter-intuitive reloading google the speedplay gun instructions. One tune that came with it lasted years.

Product came leaking and partially opened. After opening the grease looked like it had been sitting for years and was chunky instead of smooth grease, after putting in the tool, it was only about half full.

The tubes were covered in oil from the grease inside the original packaging. I had to force the tubes into my grease gun, and I’m not sure how I’ll get it back out short of cutting it out.

This is excellent stuff! In my younger days, I sold this product and we had smaller sampler sizes. I took one home and used in on a creaky car door, a fireplace screen and a couple of windows that were sticking.

I was in that house and had that car for another 5 years and never had to reapply. I was so happy when I saw this! I have already used it on all our windows that were sticking (that I have used other products on and they still stuck).

They are moving with ease, back and forth now! Thank you, thank you thak you. I am even considering giving as Christmas gifts!!!.

I purchased this to use to Clean and Maintain my Mom’s Singer Sewing Machine from the 50’s. Mom had taken Great care of her machine, but it had sat for years after her passing. I only wanted to use the Very Best Product for the job! Visibly the machine looked clean and all parts moved as they should, but After the application, I could see Just How Much of an Improvement there was! It was Truly like Night and Day! We also used this on a door we have that squeaks and groans.

Despite using other products that were All rated Great, the problem persisted Until Using Tri Flow! At last, No More Noisy Door! After using Tri Flow, I’m Sold! I won’t waste money on other products that only Claim to do what this Actually does! I imagine there are So Many Uses for this!! This would be a Great Gift Idea for Father’s Day, Birthdays, Etc! I think Every Household should have Tri Flow in your cabinet~Ready to Tackle Every Project!.

This stuff really works! Ive got an old 488 new holland haybine. One of the bearings on the rollers was squalling bad. A few shots of this stuff on the bearing it quoted right down. After several days of cutting hay with no additional applications, still quiet.

This stuff doesnt dry out like most other spray lubes. I even bought another can of it for my shop use. Will continue to use.

A beautiful product it’s nice and thick with out being too thick. I know sounds stupid but if you have used this type of grease before some can be incredibly wet runnier than you would imagine for a grease.

This product is perfect thought it’s so smooth I used it on my 410 knife as it is better than the grease that is supplied with it and it out performs tha grease hands down. The syringe is an absolute joy to use it will put out a tiny spot like a pin head size or just keep on squeezing.

I haven’t got any problems recommending this product to anyone that I personally know. it’s excellent.

I mix 2 syringes of this with a 3oz tube of superlube 92003 to improve the viscosity. I then put it in a little container. This stuff works great after mixing. I use this to grease the bearings on my bike, it holds well and reduces friction.

It now takes less effort to get my bike moving. If only this grease would cost less.

I bought the Finish Line Extreme Fluoro Grease to use to lubricate my Chris Reeve Sebenza’s. It works great! I would highly recommend it!

Squirted some into my tie rods and ball joints and it went in smooth. Will see how it’ll hold up, but I’m guessing it’s Redline so I shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Excellent grease, but the tube I got had a chunk taken out of it.

I pointed it out to the sales rep and she didn’t wanted to acknowledge it. saying that’s how they come in. No, I’ve used this before and I know how they should look like. After a bit of back and forth she agreed to refund $2.

If you get yours, make sure to double check in the store if there is no seal. It should look like the top of peanut butter before you dig into it.

I bought this product to keep my AR-15 bolt and bolt carrier as well as other internal parts lubricated when using it with a bump fire stock. The internals heat up fast when dumping 30 rounds in a few seconds and conventional oils just cannot hang or adhere well to the bolt carrier metal, this product does and it also minimizes the heat due to reduced friction.

For my particular application, it’s excellent.

I use this grease for the front wheel bearings on my first gen RX-7 track car. My RX-7 with 13 inch wheels has small front rotors and thus brake temps are very high while on track. This grease has never failed me even when I have cooked the pads.

This is the only grease I use for old-school hand-packed front wheel bearings.

I just got this for a bunch of things around the house and cars. This seem like a good lube. The delivery is a little suspect though. The adjustable spray wouldn’t let any out until it is opened almost half way.

The other thing is that the straw empties itself out after you fold it down. Messy. At least one part of my kitchen table slides pretty good now. I found a tack to push in there. It should have a cap or pin.

They have other products that aren’t as available nearby. Too bad.

The Blaster Multi Max works great with instant results where lubrication on old sticky metal to metal moving parts. Ali owed my old vise to freely clamp down my work and get the job done. Bottom line Blaster products are now my go to lubes in my work shop.

Love the Blaster dry lube too for sanitary moving parts. When in a bind Blast em!.

This product is fast-acting and does an amazing job at breaking loose items that are stuck. I’ve already restored my favorite cooler (the handle was jammed for the past three years), repaired the door on my storage building (sticking hinges kept making popping noises), and fixed a squeaky hinge on the deck of my house boat (had a relaxing weekend finally)! It doesn’t take much to get the job done, so this one can should last me a long time.

The straw on the nozzle stays securely attached and doesn’t fall off when stored. The button is firm, so it is less likely to be triggered accidentally. The only suggestion I have is that you shake the can after use, to void the contents of the straw.

Otherwise, it will leak a few droplets onto your shelving. This is definitely my new go-to lubricant.

Seems to work well. After each ride I hose the bike down (I’m riding an mtb through mostly mud and water at present), blow the bike and dry and then apply a drop to each chain roller. The chain seems to be lasting well, shifts OK, and it and the cogs don’t collect a lot of dirt when I’m out.

Best lube I have used, works really well and no gunk. Just remember to lube and take off excess before first ride. Works a treat!

Great product, as all stuff from Pedros typically are, for chain lube. I have also used their Dry Lube for use in dry and dusty conditions.

This is all I use on all mine and the family’s bikes for all seasons and disciplines. An application lasts ages and keep everything working buttery smooth.

This lube is fantastic. Do not use as much of it as you would other lubes as it spreads, runs a lot but stays put. It lasts ages and is fantastic value. On a bike chain I’ve noticed that, as with other lubes, dirt collects on it.

I pretty much use this on many items as well as my bike chain. Highly recommended.

Stays on the chain well but also seems to clean off well when i clean the chain it does hold the dirt as most wet lubes do, but i clean my chain regularly so its not a problem
