Just un real quality. It is like no other i use lps 1,2 and 3. 1 is greaseless for electronics and everything else. More of a dry lube but worjks great on gun parts u dont want wet like triggers and springs.

Very very good. Lps 3 is a rust inhibitors and is one of the best there is. LPS 2 is the legit oil. It is the best spray oil their is. I spray it on my bolts and bcgs in guns it works soo good better than most gun oils minus slip 2000 but lps works in a much broader range.

Lps2 is the one to buy it is a super premium lubricant oil that worka amazing. Most big companies use it for a reason they have huge budgets and choose this product over all others. Like me most who use it actually found out howngood it is by using at work.

WD-40 Specialist High Performance Silicone Spray 400ml I have worked on vehicles both professionally and personally for approximately 33 years, I also worked in mechanical machining and engineering for 12 years.

I decided to purchase the WD-40 Silicone spray after a few hours spent online researching the product and viewing others reviews. Every grease and spray lubricant is designed for a specific purpose, it is in most applications essential to apply the correct type of lubricant in relation to the role and purpose of the component it is being applied and used on.

In addition, it is also essential to ensure that no other component used in the parts construction will be damaged by the addition of the grease or lubricant. Can you use another alternative lubricant or grease type that it is not intended for? Yes, in some applications this is possible, however i would pose this question, olive oil, lard, suet, butter, and margarine are also greases so would any sane person pack a wheel bearing or lubricate a component with these! Using an incorrect grease or lubricant can either cause immediate damage, or over a longer period of time cause rapid and significant wear of the part to occur.

(Example) Using copper grease on caliper guide pin bolts! I have seen dozens of user posts made on vehicle repair forums where people recommend or suggest using copper grease for this application, and truth be told used this myself for this exact application.

The end result, it worked; however in the process it caused severe wear to the guide pin bores and guide pins, I discovered many many years later my mistake, use a pure silicone grease only. One of the additional spray lubricants i have purchased for use is, WD-40 Specialist High Performance PTFE spray 400ml.

Technically WD-40 Silicone spray should be the correct grease type for the brake guide pins application then. NO, the WD40 silicone spray lubricant contains other oils and chemicals in addition to the silicone component, this applies to all spray lubricants, in addition it is a spray oils lubricant, and not a grease.

It will destroy the butyl rubber gasket seal on the guide pins and possibly the caliper piston seal if it contaminates it, this applies to all spray oils and greases. In this instance, for clarification purposes I first read the data sheet available for the silicone spray on WD-40’s domain website, apparently the effect on other substrates and materials has yet to be clarified! Then i tested the WD-40 silicone spray on an old calipers guide pins and pistons rubber seals, the end result was that the seals swelled and expanded making them loose fitting and ultimately useless in sealing their intended components.

Does this mean that you should stay away from this or any other spray lubricant or grease? No, as mentioned at the beginning these lubricants are designed for specific application, just ensure you do not accidentally contaminate another non compatible plastic or rubber.

Use the correct tool for the job, and if in any doubt test and or read the sprays technical documentation. So how does the WD-40 Specialist High Performance Silicone spray perform. Unfortunately i have yet to use this spray on an application, however I have used the WD-40 PTFE, and also the standard WD-40 anti seize spray many times over the years with excellent results.

The standard WD-40 lubricant has always performed superbly on difficult to remove and stubborn nuts screws and bolts, as well as other applications. Their is no reason to believe that the WD-40 Silicone spray will not perform as well.

The spray will apply just as precisely and easily using the available built in straw, and also provide even and good coverage if using the built in wide angle nozzle option. I tested the silicone spray and it dries to a tack free finish, which will help significantly in preventing clogging and sticking issues, as well as repelling excess dirt and dust contamination.

It will last a very long time, as their is sufficient quantity in the can for many applications to be applied. The manufacturer of my Amp Research power steps on my Ford F-150 will specifically require this DRY silicone spray lubricant on the steps. Mine started to jam and after I washed them and used this fantastic lubricant, that dried clear, they work perfectly! I also use this on my Harley for an invisible lubricant that doesn’t attract dirt to cause binding, Great product!! Phoenixmike.

Purchased this to spray my slides on my travel trailer. The service department specially mentioned this spray for the slides. Jb tools was the cheapest place I could find it even after shipping was half of what Amazon was charging.

3M’s dry silicone spray is great for your car’s slow power windows. Normally, it would be five stars, but the straw is awful, and that is a big problem! Unfortunately, the straw doesn’t quite stay on the can, and even when it is connected, it still sprays around the straw! Yes, it sprays inside the straw too, but it shouldn’t spray around it.

Since this makes the straw slippery, you can’t tape it back on to the can. And sometimes when you spray, the straw spontaneously pops off! You’ll be spraying a few seconds when the straw just randomly decides to go flying.

Yes, this horrible straw is bad enough to lower an otherwise 5-star product down to three stars. But if you don;t use it in a way where that straw is required, by all means the dry silicone is fantastic and 5-star worthy.

I use this in my shop for many apps. It has a 1000 uses and always works well. Best silicone lube you can buy…..hands down !

Like the product says, Super Lube. Sprays on easily, with great coverage. Once the solvent carrier dries, you have an impressive layer of dry lube that lasts. Highly recommend to anyone.

I use this stuff on the slide bars on my sliding mitre saw. It lubricates without attracting saw dust and dirts.

I use this product in the engine compartment of an aircraft to lubricate a butterfly vale fitting in the heated air for the cockpit compartment. It is heat exchanged air from the muffler and very hot, hence the need for a lubricant that can withstand high temps.

I am sorry to report that the container arrived with the screw-on top loose/unscrewed and about 1/4 of the oil was out of it’s container and had leaked into the plastic holding bag. The bag itself had also been penetrated and the leaking oil had spread throughout the shipping box.

So, L&M, you need to have your shipping department do a little more diligence in their packaging service, especially since the shipping cost more than the oil itself did.

I’ve tried many oils for my wind up clock to keep the works running smoothly. Nothing can touch the performance of this one. the clock runs all month and then some on one wind.

What more do I need to say ?? It’s pro-grade lubricant. No one should be using WD-40 as a lubricant. WD-40 is designed to displace water. WD (Water displacement 40) it’s an anti corrosive/soil removal spray.

This pro-grade lubricant can lube anything from A-Z, hinges, bike chains, garage rollers, garage chains, car door hinges, some stuck locks etc.

this lubricant is less expensive than WD-40, and leaves a penetrant on the surface. WD-40 is a great product, but is not a lubricant, only a penetrant. apply WD-40 to steel and the steel will rust as it has no protectant.

Remember, WD-40 is a water displacement product, NOT a lubricant.

It works the way it should. I used it on small 1/4 inch bolts that have been exposed to the elements for years. What I didn’t really care for was the spray pattern. It’s not a stream that you can concentrate on one spot.

Sprays more like an aerosol window cleaner.

Great that HD has this stuff. It’s a bit thinner than heavy duty dedicated dielectic grease, Excellent for plastic and weatherstripping as well. For previous reviews complaining that tube is not full and home depot attendants pilfering the stuff please remember that it’s sold by weight and tube weight is correct.

Real silicone grease has density over 1 so it’s heavier that regular grease which is less dense usually at 0. 9 that’s why tube is not full.

Don’t know where the other person’s post went but my tube was opened too. Looks like 1/8th of the tube is gone. The other fellow said that some of his product was skimmed by someone along the shipping way somehow.

When I first saw his post I thought he was loco. I just received mine and guess what? Same thing!. I was like “no way?” Cap was wobbly loose and fell off and product leaking out. Smells bad but non toxic like they say I hope.

I use this product on my cars. It’s great on older rubber door moldings. As they age and dry out, the moldings tend to absorb water and in the winter time freeze to the door, making it difficult to open the doors on the cold mornings.

I clean the molding then rub the silicone into the moldings and it really helps stop the sticking.

Stays wet. If you want a product that is a silicone spray and dries, this is not the product for you. And it is a lot more pricier than your average silicone spray. Home Depot has some good sprays that you will be happy with.

I use this on my treadmill belt when it gets stiff – I put an old sock on my hand, spray it for a couple of seconds with the Permatex, and swipe it under the belt for a ‘smoother ride’. It’s a self-propelled Jane Fonda treadmill.

I also plan to use it on the movable parts of my garage door opener.

Awesome product. Sprays evenly and saturation is very good. Sticks well so I don’t have to reapply. Had squeaky car door hinges and wd40. Would quiet them but in 2 weeks or less would have to reapply.

This is my secret tool! It lubes all surfaces that would tend to squeak; rubber on rubber, metal on metal, plastic on plastic, PVC ON PVC–best of all, any combination of these materials. I’ve solved hundreds of problems in the house and in the garage.

Very good product cause it stays in the place you spray the lubricant on. It does not flow away from the area you spray it on, therefore it serves the purpose of lubricating your metal which is to protect the metal part from rusting and eventually breaking down.

This stuff is awesome! Anything from preventing sticky/icy rubber on car doors to silencing squeaky doors to lubricating the garage door wheels. I even fixed the door latch on my 1950 Oldsmobile. The door wouldn’t latch fully-closed.

an annoying problem. had mechanic try to fix the problem. couldn’t. I finally had the crazy idea that I would spray some of this inside the latch mechanism on the door and voila, the door is fixed. Saved all that labor by trying this spray! Awesome!.

The B’laster 11 oz Silicone Lubricant was perfect to cover all the gaskets on 3 vehicles. It does not harm paint and easily wipes clean on glass. It softens the rubber and protects it from the effects of weather.

I’ve been using it for years and I have been very pleased with it even still to this day. I have been able to get by with the standard lube for years, until recently, I came across a mower the need some silicone lubricant.

Considering the success of PB Blaster, I decided to go back to that brand when it came to needing a silicone lube. I recently acquired a lawn mower that needed a silicone lube to lubricant the handle actuation of the plastic pieces, that control the self propel drive.

Since you can’t use petroleum based lubes on plastic and rubbers, because it will eat through them, I have to use silicone. I followed the directions as according to the mower manual, and I applied a good amount of this stuff on both side of the inner and outer tube pieces, on the handle assembly.

Immediately I could feel the results of the lube, because the handle moved more freely and smoothly. However, just like with the standard lube, I can definitely sense an odor from this product. I have a feeling that this product is toxic as well, but I don’t think its as toxic as the standard lube.

Just best to use this in a well ventilated area and you will be fine. I just discovered that PB Blaster makes a PRO-Grade of all purpose lubricant, I think I am going to try that out and see if its any better then the standard all purpose lube that has been around for many years.

Anyways, I give the silicone lube a solid 5 out of 5.

Originally I just use it on the rubber, plastic, and vinyl around the car and house. It’s fantastic to preserve all the rubber gaskets on the dishwashing machine. After spraying it on the chrome sink fittings when installing new washers I was amazed at how it cleans and shines.

It’s just a great protection for my fishing equipment and other sporting goods. 🙂 Just keep it off your electric the contactsAnd knock yourself out on everything else. Believe me, if you like like maintaining what you have can’t go wrong with the Blaster Brand of industrial-strength silicone lubricant!.

This immediately made my rear passenger window roll up and down again. Previously, it wouldn’t budge at all and was afraid the motor is shot. Sprayed the tracks with the included straw and let gravity do the rest and it immediately unstick itself.

I sprayed in the channel as well as behind the felt that rubs against the window on either side.

Was recommended this product on a car forum for curing creaks and squeaks. Had tried other lubes in the past but to no avail. Used this on all the moving parts (theres a lot in an SLK) and have been amazed at the results.

The car is almost silent now, just a couple of very faint creaks to track down. Top product, I was not expecting it to be this good. Simple and easy to use, although watch out for over spray! When I first bought this I thought it was ‘a bit expensive’. I’ve used it to cut through steel, stainless steel and aluminium and it is very effective. I’ve also used it for tapping thread, mainly 8mm, and it makes for a very smooth job.

I’ve noticed that my drills are staying sharper in this process, the pilot drill tips in particular. I’ve also avoided breaking one of these since I started using this. Whatever the formula is, it’s a good one – a good mix of cutting, lubricating, heat dissipation and adhesion.

The can and dispenser tube make for accurate application – both to the cutting face and in quantity. So there’s minimal waste and mess and I was wrong. It’s not ‘a bit expensive’, in use it’s good value for money.

I was looking for a quality spray “White” grease to lubricate the Steering Column on my Nissan Note car. (there was persistant “knock” when turning at slow speed on full lock). This WD40 Lithium White spray grease proved to be just right for the job.

It adhered to the steering column splines and instantly cured the problem. (just remember to shake the can vigorously before use). The ajustable and folding nozzle was very handy – to enable one reach into restricted spaces on a car.

I can thoroughly recommend WD40 White Litthium Spray grease from screwfix. The price was great, and the service provided by Screwfix was excellent. Ordering on-line was easy and their “click & collect” service was quick and easy to use.

Had a sticky garage door opener lead screw and carriage in Minnesota. Tried grease last summer, great when warm but when cold it was much to thick and tripped garage door opener force limits all the time.

Cleaned up track where carriage rides and lead screw that drives carriage by using WD40 and a rag, put extra coat of WD40 on to lube track afterward. Good for a few days and then problem was back. Cleaned again with brake cleaner, tried WD40 again and still to much friction.

Purchased PB-50 lubricant, sprayed on same parts, ran door up/down a few times, door was quiter and it has been 3 weeks in Minnesota cold with no problems, great lubricant!!.

Used it to quiet the noisy leaf springs in the rear. Worked perfectly. bought 2 cans. Would buy again.

Most recently had to do a valve job on a 5.3 and sprayed the exhaust bolts with the Blaster and let them soak overnight and they came out easier than usual

Bought this product based on reviews to lubricate a sliding balcony door. Have been using WD40. Wanted something that would last longer. This product is a dollar more and doesn’t even work as well let alone longer.

One star for the smell not being as bad. Very disappointed. Wasted my money.

American Made, by American Workers! That’s Number ONE. Very good product. Does the same thing that more expensive brands do. You’re not paying for the name or advertising budget. Great use around the house, garage, shop and car.

No overwhelming smell. Minimal drip after it’s been applied. Viscosity is not too thin and not too thick. I’ve used this product since it came on the market. HFT sells it at a very reasonable price.

I love this stuff. This is actually my second purchase. Because of the non-destructive nature of the chemical, I feel safe using it on soft plastic and rubber parts, as well as hard parts and metal. I dont use this as a one grease does it all, but i have used this to lube plastic bearings, drawer guides, and other small parts.

I even used to assist a plastic bearing install on a steering column bearing. This stuff does it’s just and does it well.

I applied the brake lube on all the metal contact areas of the brakes. Assembled the brakes and there was an annoying squealing sound. Took the brakes apart and cleaned all the parts, reassembled the brakes, still bad squealing noise.

Ended up using another brake lube. That took care of the squealing.

Used T connector to make trailer wire connections and filled them with this. It flows easier than traditional dielectric so it gets in every nook and cranny to keep water out. Hit some big rain storms while towing car on how dolly and had no problem from lights.

Used as grease on 2″ ball and it held up for 1000 mile drive!.

Just do a little internet searching, and you’ll see this grease recommended especially for ratchets by websites like Garage Journal, Practical Machinist, and others, but also as a nice non-petroleum lubricant for just about anything else.

Come to find out, some very notable brands are putting this in theirs from the factory or including it in rebuild kits. The PTFE makes this stuff super smooth, and made my Snap-on, Wright, and especially SK ratchets run beautifully, which is crazy because those are already extremely nice tools with only oil.

They are noticeably better to me though. I also cleaned out and lubed up my ancient clunky Craftsman 36 tooth ratchets that rarely see the light of day, and a couple cheap old 36 tooth Duralast. Much, much better.

A little spring trimming on a super tight ratchet along with this will make it very nice. It then ended up in all of the work owned tools. Even better, it doesn’t leak out with heat like petroleum lube does.

If that didn’t sell you already, the tube is much better than the metal ones of dielectric grease that always form holes on the folds and get everywhere. Oh yeah, it also works as dielectric grease. There is no reason to buy that anymore when you have a tube of this sitting around.

It’s like $7 bucks for a 3 oz. tube. Make sure you grab this stuff next time you visit the Harbor Freight. Highly recommend.

Its slippery synthetic grease. I fully cleaned and removed all dried grease from my 3/8″ drive ratchet. This 3/8″ ratchet did not ratchet any easier after using a very thin layer of its internal parts.

My old unused new round head ratchet does not ratchet as easy as my 3/8″ drive pear head ratchet. I think the round head ratchets harder because of the tough round flat retaining spring more than the type of lubricant.

The manufacturer replaced my 3/8″ ratchet under warranty with a better ratchet. Bottom line is. I have an $8 tube of synthetic grease sitting around until I find a better use for it.

I recently dismantled my table saw, It wasn’t cutting straight. It’s a Hercules saw from HF, I used Super Lube grease on the trunion. That is where my problem was. Whenever I tried to tilt the blade, it would stick and eventually go out of alignment.

The trunion is cradled to the underside of the table with plastic fittings. They dried up and began to stick. I used Super lube on those plastic fittings and I was able to adjust the blade. It cuts super straight and when I need to tilt the blade, it is smooth as silk.

Look no further for your clear lubrication window and door needs. Great on vinyl & mechanical with no colored residue. Long lasting.

This stuff works great on vinyl windows. Cleaning the windows and using this stuff brought my windows back to life.

Easy to apply. Effective. So far, no indication that it will turn gunky like WD40.

After a loooong winter, decided to give this product a try on the doors in my garage: the main garage door (which is 16 feet wide) and the side “man” door. Wiped the hinges on the doors and other moving parts (tracks, wheels, etc.

) to get rid of the dust and grime that had accumulated over the winter. After a quick spray, tried opening and closing the doors several times and things were definitely running quieter and smoother with no messy drips! The only reason I didn’t give this product the full 5 stars is the flimsy straw that is provided to be used to pinpoint the spray and often disconnects when used.

The original WD-40 was introduced in 1953 (though it probably didn’t have the straw then) so you’d think they’d improve this accessory after almost 70 years! Maybe a screw-on straw like the one used with expanding foam insulation? Overall though, a fine product.

I have been using silicone spray for years now produced by many different manufacturers. WD-40 is a brand that you can trust. Very nice that I can now pick up a can as needed at HF while I am there picking up other needed items as well as items I don’t need.

Silicone spray has a variety of uses. If it sticks, a little spray goes a long way. Excellent on window tracks, door latches, hinges, etc. Safe for plastic, rubber and vinyl. Also helps to clean many surfaces and leaves a non-staining rust preventing film for protection.

I use it on my model trains for initial cleaning before applying the appropriate lube. The built-in applicator tube puts it right where you aim it. Highly recommend keeping a can handy.

Great product to have around the house/work/job site. This beats plain old wd40 in terms of lasting treatment and easier to work with. This stuff really does spray nicely and doesn’t have such a bad smell as other.

I was happy with the fact that it dries quickly and doesn’t leave as much oily discharge. Having used this stuff in the past I can say that it gets rid of squeaks and lubricates very well and lasts a long time.

For instance I used to spray my door hinges every 6 months but with this stuff I haven’t had to for 2 years and counting. Would recommend for anyone who is a regular wd40 purchaser but wants the added benefits that this silicone version offers.
