20 Best Lotion For Men’S Face (2023 Updated)

I actually started off with a similar anti-aging product from Tiege Hanley before I stumbled across Brickell. They eventually had to send me a refund because it made the skin under my eyes to look like that of an 80 year old man! I was embarrassed to go out in public.

Fortunately, my experience with the Brickell line of products has been nothing but positive. As for their anti-aging cream, I love the way it tightens my skin and helps with the bags under my eyes. It also has a fresh, invigorating scent.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to fight off Father Time. I’m sure it won’t be long before people are saying, “Wow, you look really young for your age!”.

It’s the perfect consistency and amount of hydration your face needs. I use it PM and sometimes AM but in smaller amounts. It’s also perfect for under eye area – super moisturizing! Bring it back :c

I like this product. I have horrible psoriasis and use a prescription cream on my face daily. Each night I wash my face with another brands cream face cleanser. I then apply the Dove Men +Care face cream and go to bed.

In the morning I apply my prescription product and later in the day I use the Dove face cream again. It’s not greasy and a little goes a long way. The fragrance is light so it’s not overly scented like other products.

It feels cool and light on my face and absorbs well. My skin needs moisture and this is definitely the product for me. Before I was using hand or body lotion but they were to thick and I would have some breakouts.

Since I started using this face cream I’ve had zero break outs. In face my face looks better. I do agree that to much emphasize is on the sunscreen aspect. It’s nice to have it in it but it wasn’t my deciding factor.

I wish they would come out with a cream face cleanser as I avoid soap base products on my face. A Dove men’s creme face cleanser would be a perfect pairing the body wash is to harsh for me.

Finally, a product for guys that’s not cologne in a soap. I purchased this because I was tired of all those axe body washes and other soap products that were more scents than substance. I would use those body washes and feel like I took a shower in cologne and not really be clean.

Dove is the exception. The scent is pleasant but not as strong a bottle of cologne (that’s what my actual cologne is for though right?). Of course the pluses of any dove soap have been added to Dove Men’s- moisturizing soap (I have eczema and this doesn’t dry out my skin), clean feeling after use, and a line of complimentary products to complete the “get fresh” routine.

OVERALL: Buy it, you wont be disappointed.

To start, my boyfriend had never experienced any problems with his skin, not even when he was a hormonal teenager– but at 29, his face began to flake and dry skin around his mouth and his forehead started to drive him crazy.

I read other reviews and was a little nervous given the mixed recommendations. I really like this product. I use this in combination with the moisture surge product first and this product afterwards.

It absorbs fairly quickly considering how thick the cream is. It is a great gentle moisturizer and my skin does great with it. My skin is still very moisturized at the end of the day and it doesn’t feel heavy or oily.

I have been using this moisturizer for many many years. 🙂 The skin of my face used to be extremely dry, to a point embarrassing. When I started using Anti-Age Moisturizer for men after each shower at home, and/or at the gym, the dryness disappeared and remains under control for 24 hours.

Wow! This moisturiser is really great! So for over 3 years I’ve had dry skin on my face along with some acne scars which was horrible! So first I bought the face lotion and the invigorating face wash and used both for almost a month and only seen a bit of moisturizing on my skin.

Bought the age fighting moisturizer about 2 weeks ago because I’ve read that the difference between lotion and moisturizers is the oil quantity to moisturize deeper. Basically lotion is best suited for people with normal to perfect skin while moisturizers are for dry skin to perfect skin.

Finally, my original skin tone is light brown but I was always kinda pale because I haven’t used lotion over 6 years because I’ve never found it necessary. I only stick with drinking water and thought that’ll be it, but it was not.

Now 2 weeks with this moisturizer and my skin is back to light brown and no dryness anywhere! Thank God! I didn’t know a moisturizer will be so powerful! I’ve once even been given a dermatologist card at work by a costumer to visit them because my skin conditions was really bad.

Now, my skin is back to normal and even diminished the look of my acne scars a bunch! It even reduced my forehead fine lines by 50% I must say! I’m going to keep using this moisturizer and with the face wash for many years to come! Very pleased with this product!.

I was recommended to purchase Facial Fuel from a close friend. I was impressed fromn the very first moment I used it. Skincare is not something I would normally blog about, however I had such incredible results that I felt compelled to take the time to share my opinions.

First thing I notice is the scent. It has a very slight masculine smell, that is not overpowering or dominating. Its just a hint which is exactly what I need. I sweat quite alot during the day and I am always careful to wear deodorant, cologne and aftershave, and I would not want another scent to interfere as it could get oveerbearing.

So the scent amount is perfectly balanced, especially for the typical active man. Next thing I noticed was the texture. It is a non-greasy and highly absorbent formula that you can feel going straight into your skin.

I instantly felt moisturised, with no oil or residue showing. I naturally have quite dry skin, and I am spending time in the sun everyday for work, so it is important to me to take care of my skin, and I am noticing more and more as I age, the importance of proper hydration vs greasy formulas that will not absorb.

The last thing to point out is that after 7 days of continuous use, my skin looked younger and more nourished. I used Facial Fuel mornings only, and I started to notice it after 7 days and so did my partner.

I was pleasantly surprised, since anti-aging is not something I would normally pay attention to. I’ve been a VERY long time user of Kiehls men’s products. I used to use this lotion when it was SPF 15, and now use the new SPF 20 product. I can say that I was skeptical at first, but I’m now 100% sure that this formula is superior to the old one.

Why? My face doesn’t get burned from the sun now. The old formula would wear off in a couple of hours, or right away if I was at all sweaty. This one continues to protect my skin for many many hours, assuming I don’t sweat too much (and even pretty well when I do).

I spent the entire weekend in the sun, having only applied this in the morning each day, and my face is not sunburned! (And I’m very fair skinned) Yes, it is a bit thicker, and you may not like it at first.

But that is the point. The thickness is necessary for it to actually protect you from dangerous UV rays. This is far better than most other sunscreens. It moisturizes, and I don’t break out. Ignore the reviews.

This is a great product.

I’ve been using Kiehl products for several years. Shaving cream, after shave, facial fuel, sunscreen. Was always happy until recently. Second product in a row where the gray top separated from the blue bottom of the tube.

And it won’t reattach. I keep products in my gym bag and now my 6. 8oz of brand new (used once) facial fuel will spill all over my gym bag – unless I can go get a zip lock baggie where the stuff will spill all over that.

Not sure why this company can’t improve packaging. Love what is ‘in’ the products but the packaging for men’s products is atrocious. I will search for a viable alternative. Packaging should be simple.

My go to lotion in the winter time. Dealing with dry skin is a pain. This product makes my life a million times simpler by being able to rely on it for daily moisturization. No more dry skin to worry about.

Simple product for a simple guy just trying to get by.

I bought this for my partner to encourage skincare. It smells so so so strong of that cliche ‘mens smell’ and to me doesn’t seem to be doing much at all. I tried it myself. Overall overpriced gimmick.

Made my partner a believer in face moisturizing. Very minimal scent; soothing to his post shave skin. I find it decently hydrates and the feeling lasts a while. What else is there to say?

I’m honestly really disappointed and shocked by the Shiseido men’s line. The scent is so overwhelming that my fiance didn’t even want to use it, but he powered through just once and apologized saying that he doesn’t want to use it anymore.

I’m an esthetician, so I’m already picky but the reason why I hate this product is because I feel like it takes advantage of men who don’t know better. I got this cream, the eye cream and the light moisturizer for a complete routine and looking at the ingredients on the back was a total joke.

Every product is basically the EXACT same. It’s just stuffed full of niacinamide, big deal. There is zero diversity with their products and they all even feel basically the same texturally as well. For the price of this skin care set, you could get something way better from The Ordinary or Inkey List.

I expect more from a prestige brand like this. I used it on myself and it left a tacky residue. They may as well have just had one product and marketed it as a men’s 3 in 1 like companies usually do.

This whole line is a big no from me and I recommend that men or people buying for their male partners look elsewhere for value, simplicity and results.

The Shiseido Total Revitalizer line for Men targets anti-aging concerns and my husband has several: wrinkles, dullness, roughness, and loss of firmness. His skin is normal with a bit of hyperpigmentation and dark under under eye circles with occasional puffiness.

The Total Revitalizer Cream keeps his skin very well hydrated, leaving his skin what I would consider normal-oily. The cream is not greasy and it absorbs quickly into the skin, it is simply very hydrating.

He applies religiously every night and after a few weeks, he has noticed an overall increase in hydration with no breakouts. When used with the Light Fluid and Eye Cream, as well as his preferred serum, he has noticed a very slight plumping of his find lines and a bit of brightening, less dullness, and his skin texture isn’t as rough, though with continued use, he is hoping his roughness will lessen even more.

For those with oily skin already, I would definitely look elsewhere. I think this cream would be best for those with dry to dry normal skin due to its boost in hydration.

Thank you Influenster for gifting this to me. So here are my thoughts on it. The packaging is absolutely beautiful! It’s a thick, solid, nice and sturdy jar, easy to hold in your hand. The color scheme and double wall affect give a luxury look and feel.

The double wall, however, does trick you into thinking there is more product than it is. The scent is a very typical manly aftershave scent but totally unnecessary even for a guy. Skin is skin, and men can have sensitive skin as well that may not agree with fragrance.

It has a thin consistency but is thicker and richer than revitalizing fluid. It absorbs fast, does not leave an oily or sticky feel behind, it does not add shine but does take away an uncomfortable dryness.

It’s an acceleration moisturizer and is better than the fluid. Combine them both and you definitely won’t have any discomfort from dryness. Besides, being a great moisturizer, there is no visible changes to skin yet, skincare takes a long time to work if at all and one month just isn’t enough for that.

However, according to my guy, skin does feel smoother and softer. Hard to tell if it was this cream or fluid or the combination of both products though. Overall, my guy said he “didn’t mind using itâ€.

I use the Hydra Energetic moisturizer daily in conjunction with the eye roll on. As someone with sensitive overtly oily skin I found it hard to find a decent skincare range for me but this is the best – it leaves my face feeling smooth and it absorbs quickly but it’s not greasy like other moisturisers.

An affordable price as well so it doesn’t break the bank. Nice one Men Expert!.

Generally aircon in the office would dry my skin. I found that there was a noticeable reduction in dry skin between my eyebrows and side of nose. The consistency of moisturiser was fine and easily applied to the face.

When I trimmed round my beard with razor, the skin did not become irritated like some other balms. I did notice that if I applied in the morning after a shower and left for work, my face was a little damp and I felt cold with the wind.

But I may just need to give more time to apply before leaving the house. Generally the smell was pleasant and not overpowering. The smell did not conflict with deodorant or aftershave. I have a small amount left after using day and night, I am going to give it another few days before I decide if I would continue as part of my morning and night routine.

From what I have experienced so far, I think I might start to look for this item mainly because its not just a moisturiser but after shave balm of sorts.

I used the moisturizer for approx 10 days and liked it but didnt love it. Theres definitely a cooling effect for a short while after applying the moisturiser which I liked as it makes you feel fresh.

The moisturiser is easily spreadable and a little bit can go a long way which is good. After applying, it almost feels like if you were to touch your face it would be mildly sticky, but this is not the case, it dries fast without any stickiness or oilyness.

So overall I like the product, although the biggest negative for me is the fragrance. Didn’t like the scent, particularly as it clashes with any other fragrance you might be wearing and being on your face you can smell it all day long.

So definitely would prefer if it were fragrance free.

I shower at least twice a day, and sweat a lot in sport so find that my skin gets a little dry. This stuff is perfect for it. You don’t need a lot of this on your face, but with it you’ll get: (1) just enough grease-less moisture to plump up dry skin and somehow leave it feeling richer, if that makes sense; (2) a really nice, subtle lingering scent; and (3) moisture that last throughout the day so you don’t see any dry, flaky areas develop.

I used to always try to buy oil-free moisturizers and this was my first venture away from it. I was concerned it would give me some plugged pores, but I’m about 2/3 through the bottle and have had no such problems from it.

I have oily skin and I am very careful about what I put on my face. Most creams make my skin even greasier so I hate wearing face creams, especially in the summer. I found OffCourt a few months ago on Instagram and I bought the body sprays and I LOVE the scents so I thought to try the facial hydrator when I got the pre-order email and it seemed really interesting how it is designed for post-sweat skin.

I think this is the best product I have ever used. This is even better than their sprays. It’s super light, it smells amazing, it’s so fresh and has a light amount of cooling without smelling like mint or eucalyptus.

It doesn’t feel like I have anything on my skin. My favorite part is my skin has doesn’t feel shiny and oily by mid-day. I am forever a customer. Please make more products.

Pleasantly surprised. This hydrator is super absorbent and quick drying leaving your face non-shiny and non-greasy. Perfect for daily use. It’s almost without a scent so it will not interfere with the smell of your aftershave or cologne.

Barbara Sturm Super Anti Aging cream sample on top of my Sunday Riley Luna Drops, after my Biologique nighttime cleansing routine. I woke up with luminous, smooth, supple retexturized skin, not a hint of greasiness or flakiness.

All I needed to do in the morning was to splash some water on my face, pat dry and my face was ready for makeup. I have no long term results because this was a sample, but in the short term, this cream is a game changer.

I got better results from this cream than I do from my current Biologique Recherche Dermopurifiante cream so I will be switching. Now the dilemma: I got similar results from Kat Burki Intensive Vitamin C cream and that is hundreds of dollars less than Dr.

Barbara Sturm Super Anti Aging Cream. Decisions, decisions.

I almost never review products. However, the Dr Sturm products have become my single beauty product line. I am 68 and haven’t been the most careful person – smoking, too thin and it has impacted my skin.

(I quit smoking) Over the last years, I have tried most of the high end products – La Mer, La Prairie, Cle de Peau, Chantecaille, etc. They are not bad but I have found that the Dr Sturm line is far superior.

The anti-aging face cream is remarkable in that it is very nourishing yet doesn’t leave a slimy, smelly feeling on my skin. The product absorbs into my skin after the anti-aging serum and brightening serum to leave a smooth, silky feel.

I particularly enjoy the fact that Dr Sturm does not need to fragrance every product with some overwhelming rose scent. Roses are beautiful but I do not want to smell like a rose. I want to wear my perfume for my scent.

I have noticed a significant change in the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The cream is expensive and worth the price. It lasts a long time as I use very little to achieve the results. It really should be a part of a full routine with the enzyme cleanser (my favorite) a serum or two and the cream.

I also use the facial mask. This is a product you will love.
