20 Best Lotion For Chicken Skin (2023 Updated)

This product is outstanding, very soothing and healing. My toddler son developed kp on his cheeks and back of the arms. We have been using KP Away for approx. 9 weeks and so far we have seen great improvement.

His skin has become very smooth, red “dots” are getting smaller and fading and the “blemishes” left by old bumps are vanishing. The kp on the back of his arms is almost completely gone. I also would like to mention that the customer service we have received from the KP Away folks has been great.

They have answered all our questions promptly and provided good recommendations on how to use the product. After the dermatologist diagnosed him with kp, he recommended to use a moisturizer with salicylic acid, which we used for several weeks.

While we saw his skin getting “smoother” (the bigger pimple-liked bumps reduced significantly, although smaller bumps remained), his face still showed red spots, irritation and red “dots” (not raised).

We realized this approach while effective treating some “symptoms” was not attacking the root cause of the problem and could potentially increase irritation. We needed something different. After searching for alternative treatments, we came across KP Away and its novel approach to treating kp, which resonated to me primarily because it redefined the root cause of the problem as lack of essential lipids in the skin vs.

a lack of exfoliation. We decided to switch to KP Away to treat the problem at the source (deep moisturization, lipid repairing and rebuilding), reduce the irritation and redness and establish a treatment sustainable in the long run (not based on acids or “harsh” stuff that could exacerbate irritation).

We apply KP Away once daily after his evening bath (to clean his face we use a very gentle sensitive skin baby wash). The cream feels great, it’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I love the fact that because it is not based on exfoliating acids, we can apply more liberally without concerns about irritation the next day (which we had seen with the salicylic acid-based moisturizer) or increased sun sensitivity.

This allows his skin to “relax” while keeping the kp at bay. Also, per Anar’s recommendation we stopped using chemical sunscreen and switched to mineral sunscreen (we noticed the previous sunscreen was creating irritation).

The Badger Baby Sunscreen has been a great complement to KP Away (organic, simple ingredients, very soothing, etc), which we apply every morning before school or playing outside. I am planning to update this review at the 3, 6 and 12 month mark.

We intend to continue using KP Away for the foreseeable future. My advice to parents: be patient and faithful. This product works! Thank you Anar and Carly for a great product!.

I tried KP appx a year ago and fell in love with this product. I have had KP since I was a child and it runs in my family. I have tried harsh exfoliating products to reduce the annoying red bumps, which did nothing.

I have tried eating less gluten and it is still there. People have asked me since o was a kid if I had a rash or if my red bumps were contagious. I told them it’s similar to excema as it’s easier to explain.

KP Away is t the first product I have used that actually reduces the appearance of the bumps. It also leaves your skin feeling super moisturizes without feeling greasy. I love that it is made by doctors and not that it does not have added parable or petroleum.

If you are tired of KP bumps, get this!.

I have super sensitive skin so I get worried when o buy products, especially those I can use all over body. This product is amazing! Never once had a breakout. I use this every morning and every night, mostly as a moisturizer for my face as its very hydrating.

You get a lot of product in one container so its going to last me a little while. Overtime this helped me with lessening of my KP as well on the back of my arms. I would recommend this to everyone, if you have KP or not, because this cream is so multi functional.

This will especially come in handy as winter and dry skin season is coming up.

Allow me to preface by saving that I did not buy this specific item number. I bought the parts separately so that I could buy the supersized lotion. I just had to review the products as a whole, though: I have had serious KP on my upper arms my whole life, and this regimen took it almost completely away in LESS THAN A DAY.

I used both items last night, and then the lotion this morning. There are still a few spots, but they are a much lighter color (slight pink as opposed to an angry red). And there are NO BUMPS at all.

My skin is completely smooth. It is quite pricey, especially if you buy the big lotion instead, but you really don’t need to use very much (I used pea sized amounts of each product on each arm, maybe less of the scrub).

It should last awhile, so I really feel like it’s worth the investment. I am never, ever motivated to write reviews, but when a product solves a super annoying problem that I have had for decades in less than a day, I think it warrants some special attention.

This product has been introduced to me by my friend. I am really having issues with my oily and dry skin. I have tried using moisturizers and such but it is just not enough—my skin turns dry and oily after an hour or so.

I have had severe KP my whole life and nothing has ever helped the way this lotion and scrub has. There’s no cure and nothing will ever make me look perfect but this is the closest I’ve ever gotten. The lotion has a funny consistency and smells kind of weird and it doesn’t feel the greatest when you’re putting it on, but the results make it worth the minor inconveniences.

My skin hasn’t been flaky (which used to be my greatest struggle) or dry since I started using it, and it’s the smoothest and softest it’s ever been. It doesn’t even feel like my skin. The red bumps are probably never going to go away but at least I can be touched without feeling insecure anymore.

Even my boyfriend noticed right away and was amazed with how my skin feels. The first week I used this stuff he could hardly keep his hands to himself! I would even recommend this lotion to anyone who has rough skin at all, not just kp.

I’m absolutely astounded and will be using this forever.

I bought this along with the matching scrub and am nothing but disappointed. I don’t understand where all these positive reviews are coming from. This is the last time I get tricked by an Instagram ad into buying some garbage.

I have very serious KP and I have tried so many things to treat it and this does not work. I know because I found a lotion that DOES work and that too by itself without the help of a scrub. Also they must take me for a fool to pay this much for such a small tube of watery lotion that doesn’t even spread well.

I’m almost done with the bottle because you have to use well near half the tube to get a proper application. The thing is when you have something like KP you’ll pay anything to make it go away and so that’s how they got me.

But never again. I’m going to stick to my Cera Ve SA cream (highly recommend) and suffer through a few more uses of this just to get rid of it since I already have it. Also it smells so bad. I would tolerate it if it actually helped but it doesn’t so it just makes me feel sticky and smelly after I’ve showered.

So the reason why I am rating this as a 5/5 is because it has been the only lotion that could make my strawberry skin smooth. I had very bad strawberry skin on my legs, upper thighs, and back of my arms.

I tried every lotion I could and nothing. Until I read a review from someone with bad strawberry skin that this was the only thing that smoothed out their skin. And boy! They weren’t wrong! You can still kind of see my strawberry skin on my upper thighs but it feels smooth !!! The lotion doesn’t have fragrance since it is fragrance free and contains various exfoliants as well.

It is more on the thicker side too. I apply it after I shower but sometimes the lotion kind of stings/irritates my skin since I shave in the shower, but it only lasts for a minute so it’s fine 🙂 Definitely recommend!!!.

There aren’t enough adjectives to explain how incredible this lotion is. I’ve suffered from frustratingly embarrassing bumps on my outer thighs and butt for the majority of my life. I’ve tried prescription strength topicals, acne washes, high-end acne gels, lotions, bar soaps, you name it, they didn’t work and in some cases made it worse.

I’ve always had super sensitive skin (I get razor burn everywhere, super sensitive to fragranced lotions) and can confirm this stuff is unscented and did not give me any sort of reaction. ONE JAR OF THIS STUFF CLEARED IT 90%! The only thing left is the slight dark spots from some of the bumps that I’ve messed with.

It’s not greasy and dries nicely. You don’t even notice it’s there after it dries. I’ll put it on at night, and it sets in, and when I shower in the morning, I can feel the water re-activating it so clearly it stayed put without feeling the greasy, heaviness of some thick lotions.

The feeling of the bumpiness went away first, within at least 3 weeks. It completely went away within 4-6 weeks. This sounds long when you’re so fed up and want it to work immediately, but I swear, the results are so worth it.

Especially if you’re like me and have never worn a bikini to the beach without shorts on, because you’re embarrassed. The appearance of the bumps went away within 2 months and now is almost completely gone.

This will be a staple in my home for as long as it keeps working. The fact that one jar cleared it up as much as it did, is just mind-blowing. I actually can now feel sexy in lingerie, confident in bathing suits, short shorts, etc.

I’ve even tried it on my upper arms, lower and upper back that I sometimes have similar bumps/acne and it’s helped tremendously. I will recommend to anyone and everyone.

I have an ongoing tumultuous relationship with this lotion. It’s a love/hate thing. I hate it while I’m using it, but I love it afterwards. It’s almost like a slow-acting gommage? Let me explain. Positives: This definitely does a good job of sloughing off dead skin.

I always feel that any bumps from KP and/or ingrown hairs are less noticeable afterwards. The exfoliating acids in this are definitely effective, but it moisturizes well too, so my skin isn’t left feeling dry or tight.

Negatives: It’s marketed as non-greasy, which I find to be untrue. It “absorbs” (I’m using this word loosely, as I explain below) relatively slowly– maybe an hour or so on my very dehydrated legs, a bit longer on more hydrated areas.

Rate of absorption also depends on the area’s exposure to air post-application. Personally, I can’t keep this lotion anywhere on my skin that regularly touches different surfaces because it’s so sticky.

I find things like dog hair and random bits of paper sticking to my legs, which isn’t a great look, so I never use this on my legs if I’m planning on wearing shorts or a skirt. Even after it “absorbs,” I’m left with a bit of sticky residue.

Underneath, however, is the veritable promised land of silky skin. I’ve found the best practice is to either (a) put this on right before bed for maximum absorption before washing it off in my morning shower or (b) leaving it on for about an hour, then rubbing it off of my skin in small circles, like you would with a gommage peel.

It’s a very gross, satisfying experience seeing all the dead skin and leftover product pill up and roll off. Ultimately, I’d recommend it, but probably not as an everyday lotion. It is not lightweight, but it is effective.

I have very dry itchy skin. Some times I can itch my skin till it bleeds. When ever I take my clothes off you can see flakes on my clothing. I hate it. I’ve used all kinds of creams most of which does no good.

My Dr had recommended this which I used about a yr or so ago. I really liked it but I didn’t like the smell. I thought it was a perscription that I could only get at the dermatologist. Just for the fun of it I went on line and typed in the name and was surprised I could buy it on line.

I received my two bottles and have been using it. I rub it on my moist skin after I shower. It’s great. These containers do not have a rancid smell like the one I received from the drug store. I am very pleased with the results.

My skin is not itchy and I no longer see flakes of skin on my clothing when I take them off. Would recommend this product to any one that has a skin problem.

I found this lotion on Amazon a few years ago, and I love it! It’s comparable with AmLactin lotion, but MUCH cheaper. I use this a few times a week, followed by a richer cream. Beware- if you use this after you shave, you will feel a burning sensation from the acid in the lotion.

I buy these in packs of 2, that way I always have one on hand. I definitely recommend this product.

This stuff works GREAT for my KP. I have tried EVERYTHING. My dermatologist sold me my first set of this. for way more money. I’m so glad I found it for much less. By the way, it makes other skin on your body smooth as well.

It absolutely works to get rid of those darn bumps on the back of your arms. ALL gone now! I still use it from time to time when I need a good exfoliation or when the bumps start to come back. My boyfriend constantly raves about how soft my skin is.

I am using the product for the back of my arms. After two weeks my husband reports that the bumpy things on my arms are “less sharp. ” I like how thick the wash is and how it lathers. The lotion is thick too.

The fragrance is not overpowering and fades quickly after application. My skin is a little tacky after using the lotion, but it’s not too noticeable unless I put a long-sleeve shirt on. I like it. It’s doing what I hoped it would do! Thank you!!!!.

I’ve had terrible kp my entire life, and I’ve tried dozens of different products to treat it. Nothing I’ve tried so far even comes close to Glytone. The combination of the body wash (which I use sparingly) and lotion has given me smoother skin than I thought possible.

The lotion must be used consistently to be effective. The body wash also works great as an exfoliant before shaving. Be warned, however, that you will get the worst sunburn of your life if you’re not diligent with sunscreen.

I have a bunch of acne and acne scars on my back and this lotion is magic. I’ve been using it twice a day for about a month. Not only are the acne scars fading but I’m not getting any new breakouts. The lotion is a little on the thicker side so you have a rub it in but I’m willing to work a little if it means beautiful clear skin.

KP bumps are stubborn in general so don’t expect them to get eradicated completely, but this lotion worked pretty well for my arms and soothed the redness more than others I’ve tried. It may be streaky for a short while after applying but that generally fades in about 1-2 minutes.

No odor either, which is a plus.

After the first use you can genuinely feel the difference and the most difference you see is in 2 weeks the skin just looks more soft and like you want to touch it amazing

So I’ve had KP on my arms & legs for about 5-7 years now. Within the last year for whatever reason it’s gotten worse. I read the glowing reviews for this, & decided to give it a try. Worst case scenario, I have a heavy duty moisturizer for dry winter/covid cleaning skin/hands.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this product worked! The moisture really does last (like until my shower the next morning), & I’ve seen a noticable change in my KP. Bumps are few and far between & also much smaller, they’re not quite so rough feeling, & they no longer have that red/irritated look to them, so they don’t stand out on my fair skin anywhere near as much as they used to.

I can feel comfortable in a short sleeve shirt without all the anxiety & thinking about covering my arms up all day. (I used this in conjunction with the Derma Doctor AHA/BHA cleanser. I originally got the cleanser to use on my face, but it’s way too harsh.

It works great as a spot scrub for my KP though!).

KP Duty dermatologist moisturizing therapy for dry skin is an amazing product. It’s pricey but well worth it. I had KP on the backs of my upper arms especially when I was younger and would even cover them with foundation when wearing sleeveless tops.

My two dermatologists prescribed me Lac-Hydrin which was a lot more affordable but I personally stumbled after doing research upon KP Duty and it personally was much more effective for me than Lac-Hydrin.

The formula for the lotion is very thick so a little can go a long way. It is a bit sticky when applied and since it has glycolic in it it would leave small bleached stains on my towels and clothing.

To counter this, I would wear an old long sleeve shirt. This was effective as the product would not accidentally rub off. After a month of using the moisturizer along with the scrub I saw visible difference.

My bumps were noticeably less and the redness was almost completely gone. After about 3 weeks time, I noticed that it was making my skin a bit sensitive as perhaps it was strong on my skin. I changed frequency to every three days to maintain.

Although KP Duty is expensive it is a product that I think is worth it and effective in KP reduction.

I felt absolutely compelled to pen this review as a result of the sheer efficacy of this line of products. my husband suffers from Keratosis Pilaris, and always had. After purchading the kakadu line for myself, and seeing real results- I decided to try the K.

P. duty line. We started with this cream first, and after two or three applications, my husband was shocked by the results of just this product alone. After just two additional uses of both the scrub and this cream- K.

I’ve dealt with bumps on the back of my thighs since I was 11 and decided I’d shave them. I do have KP apparently since the bumps are the result of tiny hairs that can’t make it through to the surface due to my high levels of keratin in my system.

I have tried dry brushing thinking tough exfoliation would do the trick and it just left my legs feeling painful and looking terribly red. I used to pick at them and then realized that was a daunting and terrible way to try to get rid of them since I feel like they came back worse.

It wasn’t until I decided to bite the bullet and ask for this gift for Christmas because, I never wanted to spend that much money on lotion and exfoliation, that I entered the land of the living(living in smooth skin that is)! In just 4 uses (used twice a week) I feel a dramatic difference in the severity of the bumps.

They’ve smoothed down as if I’ve sat in tight pants on a summer day all long but it’s not the pressure that did it- it’s the chemical and physical exfoliant paired with the urea blend cream that is making that difference.

It’s so nice now brushing up against my legs and not feeling completely annoyed at the rough texture. I’m so happy I finally decided to give this a try! A little of the product goes a long way. I use about a dime’s worth.

I have been using the KP duty for 2 weeks now. I haven’t really noticed a change in my KP yet. However, after I do the scrub my skin feels incredibly soft. I hope I start to notice a change soon because this was expensive.

I gave 2 stars because I was suppised to get 3 samples with my order. I thought “great! I’d love to try more products “ especially because it is a little in the expensive side. But when my products came, not one sample was there.

I contacted customer support over 2 weeks ago and still have not heard from anyone.

I had high hopes for this product. I’ve tried just about every other option for my KP, but finally decided to spend the $ on these products because nothing else has worked. I’ve been using this religiously since I received it and have noticed NO difference.

My skin is slightly smoother on the days I use the scrub, but overall the bumpy texture and red spots remain. Super disappointed.

You will not get the item shown in this photo. Instead you will get a white bottle that states original daily moisture. Reached out to the company and they first state that it’s the same but then stated they wanted the number on the bottle so they can confirm with manufacture.

If you said the formula is the same then why you need to confirm with manufacture. Sent them photo of what’s requested and they said 24-48 hours. More than a week later and still no response. Do not buy from this company because you will loose money.

Been using Keri for 40 years. It might be something else besides the Keri but my skin looks pretty good for my age – and I’m fair skin and dry. I slather it on after showering while still a little wet.

People complain it is too thick and greasy but putting it on when still wet spreads it out, thins it and I get more distance out a bottle. I started using lotions like I mentioned a long time ago because my skin was so dry.

Especially in the winter. I love how it feels on my skin. I use only the “Original” formulation. Hopefully Keri keeps producing the Original for years to come. I have tried other Keri’s but the Original is still the best.

I purchased this at the recommendation of my dermatologist for my KP on the backs of my arms. The loofah feels like it wastes product – I use an exfoliating glove for the body wash so I’m able to benefit from both a physical and chemical exfoliation.

Both products seem to have helped. I use the body wash 1-2x a week (I plan to increase to 2-3x/wk as recommended), followed by the body lotion. I’ll also use the body lotion independent of the body wash.

The amount of KP has decreased for certain but there’s still some stubborn areas that need more work. I have been using the kit for about 3 months now. I do plan to purchase this again (individual body wash and lotion, not kit) and am hoping with more frequent, consistent use, the remainder of my KP goes away.

I ordered this trio from the Black Friday Deal and it’s outstanding! It arrived yesterday and I immediately showered and applied some all over my body from top to toe. A little does go a long way and I agree that it sinks in quickly, feels extremely luxurious to apply and up to this morning my skin is still feeling soft, hydrated and moisturised.

My skin DRANK it all up and then asked for more! I knew my skin was thirsty but wow. I feel like Oliver Twist. My skin feels moisturised and nourished. Even my shins love it but they still remain a little bit thirsty.

I’ve actually scored this 4. 5 because of my shins but scored 6 for all other parts of my body. This is my very first time of using Gatineau but I am intrigued so will be buying more products by them.

This body lotion is amazing! It has a light consistency however it leave my dry skin very moisturized. When I first used the lotion I honestly didn’t think it would moisturize as fabulously as it did.

I love this lotion the smell is lovely and subtle. I use this lotion in the autumn and winter months as I use the tan accelerator during spring and summer. Highly recommend!.

I got a generous sample in the Space NK goodie bag last year and was only going to use this as hand cream as I have a sensitive skin condition affecting my legs and many topical creams leave a burning sensation.

I tried this all the same and was really surprised that my skin didn’t feel as bad as it usually does when I apply creams. This is a real bonus for me as anything that relives the burning sensation even just a little is a big win for me.

It does have an odd smell that I can’t put my finger on and I don’t like. I see there is a fragrance free version and I would certainly have to use that one. It does moisturise without that greasy feeling.

I would definitely purchase this but it’s very expensive for a cream. If I didn’t have a skin condition I wouldn’t find this value for money but because I’ve suffered for years I will spend money for even small improvements.

This is nice and moisturising and Fragrance Free!! Why do formulas contain irritating fragrance. Their whole skincare brand has Fragrance high on the ingredients list including Shampoo, Body wash, body scrub and facial skincare.

I was excited to buy more until I realised they had fragrance in and in the top half of the ingredients list. Some people with excema, rosacea, psoriasis which this product line is aimed at have very sensitive skin with impaired barrier function like myself and then their are people with no skin disease who just have sensitive skin and fragrance is an irritant to skin according to my dermatologist for people with sensitive skin.

If they dropped the fragrance I would buy more. I cannot believe they have one product that is free of fragrance. I didn’t get down the rest of the list as fragrance was too high up.

I have ingrown hair after waxing/shaving (perks of being an Asian!). Nothing would help. I have rough, bumpy skin. This doesn’t help overnight but it definitely smoothens. However, 2 weeks of continuous use and my skin looked much better.

I have tried other AHA products but I didn’t like the consistency of them. My colleagues say I smell like playdough?!! whenever I use the Ameliorate lotion. To those who don’t mind fragrance, you can purchase a scented version.

Overall, it’s a very good product that does the job, consistency is the key if you got strawberry skin!I have also recently bought skin exfoliant from Ameliorate from look fantastic. And currently looking into purchasing the scalp exfoliant.

Meh I have LOVED all the other beekman products I have tried. This one’s just ok. I like the ingredients a lot but the texture is just a little watery for me. And that’s the only issue I have with it.

I guess I just expected something denser or thicker from them. Obviously lots of water and glycerin in this. Which ya it says that in first two ingredients so 🤷‍♂️ That said I will still try their other lotions or body creams out since I’ve really liked everything else and I like the company itself.

I love this lotion. It isn’t too oily or greasy feeling and it sinks right into the skin. The scent is not too strong or too light, it’s a nice citrusy scent with a bit of honey which is perfect for summer.

The lotion leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and it keeps me moisturized throughout the day. Overall, I really like this lotion and would recommend it. The only thing that I don’t love is that the pump sometimes needs to be moved around for lotion to come out, but it truly isn’t the biggest deal and the lotion is so nice it’s worth it for a little extra effort.

Love, love, love the lotion. Just the right consistency, amazing smell! A keeper for sure. The pump for the bottle, however, is too short and when there is still plenty of product at the bottom, the pump doesn’t reach it.

This necessitates cutting the plastic bottle open to scoop out the remaining lotion or spending a long time turning the bottle upside down and shaking it to get the remainder out (and then trying to figure out where to put it since it’s more product than you can use in one application).

I have a condition called “chicken skin” that is caused by Celiac Disease and have struggled with it my entire life. No lotion would ever help the bumps and scented lotions only make it worse. My dermatologist recommended I try this cream and it has been life changing.

It doesn’t really have a scent. It is thick but rubs in nicely as your skin absorbs it. It has drastically improved the bumps on my skin and is SUPER moisturizing. I apply twice a day and my skin is soft and looks sooooo much healthier.

I’ve used it for 3 years now and it will continue to be my daily lotion! It is a tad bit pricey bit a huge tub of it lasts me months and is well worth it.

I am a runner. This means that I ALWAYS have calluses and dry skin on my feet. It is hard to keep my feet in good condition when they are constatnly pounding pavement in running shoes. I found this cream and I love it.

For someone that spends all their time fighting dry skin on their feet, this cream has been a life saver. I use it every night and it helps keep my calloused areas soft enough to manage but not so much that they go away ( important for a runner who needs these to prevent blistering).

This cream goes on thick and is one of the first I have found that stays on instead of immediately rubbing off. I trust this brand for everything and this product did not disappoint.

Skin Lotion is actually pretty good. First you kind of notice the “unique” fragrance, by third day you kind of start to like the fragrance, and after a week you do feel the skin adapting pretty well with the lotion.

An interesting evolution.

Haven’t noticed a difference since using this lotion. There is a slight (fishy) scent which I am not a fan of. But it goes away quickly.

This lotion has transformed my skin – its ultra hydrating and smells great!

A prescription for this was given to my husband for some extremely dry skin. I tried it as well. It is wonderful stuff, however, be sure to follow the instructions about washing your hands after. It is very strong and must not be used around the eyes.

I developed contact dermatitis on my right hand during the Great Handwashing Frenzy of 2020 and I could not shake it. I spend hundreds of dollars on everything that claimed to help it – things with honey, beeswax, vegan oils, beef tallow – things with chemicals that I wouldn’t usually consider putting on my body (hello, La Roche-Posay).

Nothing worked. In fact, it got worse and by June 2021 had spread to my left hand. I’m not being dramatic when I say that I tried everything, and the best I could get was reduced redness and itching with constant application of La Roche-Posay.

Still on my journey to find a cure, I bought a trial tin of the Balm of Ages this winter because my skin was dry and cracking. After ONE application of this balm before bed I woke up to healthier, softer skin – this was definitely different.

After a couple of weeks of nightly use my skin feels normal, it’s not cracked, flaking, or bleeding, and one patch has disappeared altogether. After two years the disfiguring dermatitis on my hands has been subdued to a kind of rosy flush on one knuckle.

I would recommend this to anyone struggling with similar skin problems.

So. big call, but this product is the most underrated, hardest working product in my bathroom cabinet. It has outshone and out performed all of the big name (and big price tag) products in my routine and my skin is the best it’s been in YEARS.

It has literally just save me thousands of dollars on cosmetic grad skin treatments. I have been using the balm since 2014 and it’s been my go to as a a lip balm, topical ointment for cuts, burns and dry skin- My partner refers it it as “that miracle cream”.

BUT it wasn’t until I started applying it to a blemish on my cheek, that I realised just how good it was (face palm). My skin marks very easily- it’s like it wants to keep a record of every blemish I’ve had in the last 2yrs, leaving me with stubborn, red, post acne marks all over my face.

I have tried everything to reduce the scarring, from expensive AHA and BHA wipes/treatments, retinol, serums, creams- you name it, I’ve tried it. Although I have seen an improvement in my skin in general, the red marks just didn’t seem to be fading as much as expected, even after nearly 9months of persevering.

I was just at the point of biting the bullet and going down the road of a 12 month course of face needling ($$$), when I started applying the balm to my trouble spots. Well, the active blemish I had is gone without even a hint of a red mark, it’s like it was never there.

With-in a week I have also notice a significant reduction in even the worst of the other marks. Plus, it hasn’t broken me out like some other heavier products have done in the past. I am kicking myself for not trying it on my face sooner but very happy that I have found a solution to my skin issues.

This balm works on about anything. soothes insect bite, redness and itchiness, I even applied it on blue bottles stings and got great relief. When I go camping, it is my single beauty product packed along the deodorant paste Axila signature from the same brand.

The smell is very nice, very botanical. This balm is pricy like all Black Chicken range but it is worth every penny. All the ingredients are of good quality and you can smell it!.
