20 Best Looking Glasses For Men (2023 Updated)

This is my second time to order glass from GS. GS really offers a variety choices of frames and lens, at reasonable price. Plus, quality is really impressive, I will not order glass from any other stores! With GS, I don’t even need to worry about insurance, as I got two pairs this time for 80USD in total.

I am -3. 75 and -3. 5, and ordering 1. 61 index plus blueray block, anti reflective and UV protection. The 1. 61 index is quite thin, very light weighted (I tried 1. 50 for my first pair from GS, nothing wrong but it’s tooooo heavy for me).

The frame really looks good on me, I ordered black/rose gold, and the rose gold is cool-tone and not tooo pinkish, very classic~ I also love the narrow frame, it won’t be too much on my face. The frame is also light weighted, and very comfortable to wear.

It took 13 days (including weekends!!!) from ordering to delivery to my mailbox! Even faster than lots of local retailors.

These are the most comfortable glasses that I own. However, they have one major flaw. The material around the arms is held in place with some sort of adhesive and that adhesive leaks out all the time around the temples and at the tips behind the ears.

The material that is being held also seems to want to come off. Very frustrating.

These are very comfortable and distinctive frames. I originally purchased the brown with stainless rims, but my lenses were accidentally made grey vs. brown. I bought the black version and switched the glass myself.

I liked them so much I switched back to the brown, bought my son the black frame and kept the black frame I used for the last year as a spare back-up in case we damage on of them. Fantastic price! My eye glass store is priced 3-4X higher for the frames.

at first I was hesitant to buy from this website because of a negative reviews online due to shipping times, but, I believe that has to do with the type of shipping that you choose. They have a free shipping option that could lead to longer wait times due to the pandemic.

However I ordered my frames and they came within 2 days (paid for overnight). I received my frames exactly the way that they were advertised! if you’re looking to get designer frames for your eyeglasses or sunglasses but you don’t want to pay $500 for them I suggest that you go through designer optics, I couldn’t be happier.

These glasses are beautiful! Designer Optics’ service was great and the glasses came in tact with all of the extra Gucci essentials for glasses (case, dust bag, cleaner). I was afraid they’d be too big for my face since they’re men’s, but they fit perfectly.

I couldn’t find these at LensCrafters because they sold out so I tried to find another store that had them. At first I had a little doubt and was iffy about buying my glasses here because I never had heard of them but after I saw reviews on YouTube and everything went well with the reviewers then I thought I would give it a try.

This is the first time that I have purchased glasses totally online. I was skeptical as to how accurate the process would be but I am completely blown away. I ordered the gold colored frames with the progressive lenses.

Being farsighted, I was worried that the progression would be slightly off since they wouldnt have the vertical measurements of my pupils but the lenses are perfect. Not to mention that the glasses look great and I get compliments everywhere I go.

Im sure the fact that the Gucci name can be seen clearly on the frame helps to solicit responses as well. I was so pleased with these frames that I wanted to order a pair in silver but unfortunately Gucci didnt offer this style in silver.

I did find a similar style with the Sferoflex 2275 frames and ordered those in Gunmetal. I cant wait to get those in to see if they are of the same standard as these Gucci.

Bought these as a gift for my partner after his broke and he is obsessed with them! They’re great quality, come with a cleaning cloth, hard velvet case, and a silk carry all bag. Great for traveling which I’m sure will come into use.

Honestly I think the brand itself has made him be way more careful with them and appreciate them more so that’s also a bonus! They look great too :).

I can’t lie, I was scared to order from this site after all the bad reviews I seen lol mainly from the same two or three people. The frames are nice I’ve been looking for some round frames for the longest.

These came with a Gucci case, cleaning cloth, lil carrying bag and the original lenses. Only wish my eyesight wasn’t so bad or they offered a thinner lens because my lenses are thick and you probably can see them poking out from the side.

The AX1009s are a lightweight, sleek option that fit well and don’t slip down the nose easily. The lenses are just what I hoped. The overall quality was very good. The online shopping experience was easy and not complicated.

AND, the price was excellent! Packaging and delivery was good, as expected. Delivery time from the delivery company always seems kind of slow.

We had some shipping issues and have no clue really what happened, the glasses came to Tennessee then for some reason went back to NY. I do not think it was anything with Designer Optics. I feel it was the postal service.

Once we got the glasses they were great. Fit well and my husband really likes them. This is his second pair from Designer Optics, and we will definitely shop here again. Definitely much cheaper than optical places around us.

I purchased my RadarLock sunglasses with a Prizm golf lens a few years ago. After many rounds of golf, they developed a few scratches. The frame were still in excellent shape and I decided to just replace the lens.

The replacement lens fit perfectly. I would recommend these sunglasses to anyone.

I bought these glasses a month ago and I am very disappointed in the color. They were advertised as doublequote lizard green doublequote and there is NO green color there. The inside of the earpiece says doublequote olive doublequote and there is no olive color there either.

It is closer to a faded black color. These are definitely incorrectly advertised colorwise. I chose these glasses because I had been looking for green glasses for a while.

I’ll give credit where it’s due. the chrome iridium lenses look so sharp with that mirror finish. Man they look good! And the clarity is great also. However, these things scratch so easily. I’ve had these sunglasses for less than a year and just scratched my second pair of replacement lenses (both scratches were pretty significant.

Not just normal wear and tear). The first pair scratched within the first month and I just noticed a scratch on my second pair yesterday (a deep scratch, worse than the first). And I’m typically very protective and adamant about keeping things away from my sunglasses’ lenses (any brand).

When they’re not on my face, they are in my car or on my head or around my neck. They go nowhere else for this very reason. I love these lenses but for this price, I just can’t keep replacing them every few months because I bumped into something with them on.

I expect a bit more durability at this price point. Very disappointed.

First set I ordered, noticed within a week that the right arm was not solid (like the left), flimsy and clicking when handled. Very disappointed for a $177 set of designer frames, so sent back for replacement.

Replacement was even worse as BOTH arms flimsy, not solid. Felt like cheap $5 pair. Clearly built in China as said on them, with poor quality control. Love Armani clothes, but will never buy their glasses again after this.

After work, I switch to these. The transitioning works great, isn’t even noticeable. The enhanced reading area makes these an ease to adjust to. The frames however, seem slightly loose? Like very able to break.

Perhaps it is designed in to allow for falling asleep with them on, I’ve done that a few times already, and they are still intact. The clean coat makes it very easy to wipe. but it seems I need to clean them alot, for clear vision.

I don’t know why, as this wasn’t a problem before I switched to multi focal. Perhaps that’s the change. Overall, I like them. Bold and noticeable for my taste, but the overall seems to get favorable comments.

Im satisfied with the frames I received, but the prescription lenses are not quite accurate. They are good when watching television, but blurred when reading things. Good place to get frames, but maybe go to an optical place in person to get your prescription lenses.

Amazing clear vision with NO distortion whatsoever with this progressive lens which is absolutely incredible compared to expensive private optometrists. Big box stores and other companies such as Warby Parker which I have used in the past.

I only added the upgrade for the thinner lens (due to the bigger lens it was not necessary to order the additional upgrade meant for shorter lens heights). Although the frame feels like it fits great with no adjustments necessary.

And is very comfortable. I am so sad that it looks too big and shiny with the arched nose bridge making my nose look longer and prominent. I have the medium fit which I believe is correct but wrong frame for my face.

I was looking for a frame that blended into the background. Not one that shouted\”Look at these big shiny glasses!\” Perhaps a brushed metal may have helped a bit along with a straight bridge. Before I order another pair I will need to know the height of these lenses so that the next pair I order will be a shorter lens height and also I found I will need to stay away from the arched nose bridge.

Please inform me of the lens height and width of these lenses and the potential to exchange this pair for better looking frame more suited to my face and desires aesthetic outcome. Also from looking at the attached photos.

Please inform weather or not you think I should have ordered a size small although I believe the small would be too tight and squeeze my temples. I\’ve been searching multiple websites for a pair of frames that will fit my small face. I was initially hesitant about purchasing these because the last two frames I\’ve had previous have been 50-20-145.

Both of which have been to big for my face. My biggest concern was the temple length (I went with size Small. Gold frames). Going from 145 to 138 I thought it might be to short for me or push my glasses right up against my face uncomfortably.

To my surprise 138 has been perfect for me. The glasses are not overly large and look way cuter in person. The nosepads are great for keeping my glasses from slipping as well. I also may adjust them slightly as they are a bit tight.

I\’ve gotten so many compliments about them already though. My only advice would be to NOT get the blue light coating on the lenses. I called customer service and requested new ones that only had the anti-glare coating on it.

The blue light coating can be seen constantly in the lense reflection which makes it hard for me to ignore and see properly (not sure if I\’m describing that problem correctly). But overall the frames are PERFECT.

This is my second time trying to order from EBD. The first frames I ordered I ended up sending back as they left many somethings to be desired. THESE frames however are perfect! They fit my face perfectly (although I do wish they were a little larger and oversized.

But that’s very hard for me to find) I got size large and initially I was concerned they would be to big. But not the case at all. Overall the frame fit very well even before any adjustments. I haven’t worn glasses with feet in so long as the big chunky plastic ones are my go to.

But the feet on these glasses are very comfortable. I haven’t noticed any slipping and they aren’t giving me a headache. The frames themselves aren’t overly flimsy. As you would expect from paying less.

But they do flex just the slightest bit which leaves a slight concern for one of the lenses popping out. These frames are a two day shipping eligible frame As well and while I did not intentionally order them with it.

The shipping was very fast. I ordered Friday and they were on my doorstep this Tuesday morning. Overall I am very happy with the purchase of these frames and would buy them again.

I wish you were able to pick the case color. I got the most hideous color. Try to suggest it even though they say not to. People have had to suggest the color for me to have gotten the color I got. Oh well, its a pretty pair of specs ive been looking at for a while.

A few months back, I took a leap of faith and ordered glasses from GlassesUSA. This pair is my third. I literally could buy three pair of glasses (complete with progressives) for less than one pair at the national chains.

The lens quality is crystal clear and sharp. I singleqoute ve worn Varilux lenses for over 30 years. The GlassesUSA lenses are every bit as good. Absolutely no adjustment period for me. When you can buy a pair of progressives with a quality frame for under $200 you singleqoute ve got yourself a heck of a deal.

I purchased these glasses with Premium Ultra-Thin Lenses last month, and while they look great, they are very uncomfortable. I had to take a break from wearing them over the weekend to allow my nose to heal.

I had a blister form on my nose under the left nose pad. They feel heavy on my nose and too tight behind my ears, squeezing my head, leaving red marks on the tops of my ears. I wish the Ray-Ban website had an adjustment guide for their carbon fiber frames.

This may be a simple fitting issue, and if adjustments can be made to ease the tension behind my ears, my review would go from two stars to four. I also don’t like the placement of the see through SVA stamp on both lenses next to the nose pads.

It causes me to have blurred vision when I’m looking over my shoulder, backing out of my driveway. There are three separate stamps on each lens.

These are the only glasses I wear because they grip, have nose pegs, and are so lightweight that I don’t realize they are on. I have run over 2 different pairs of these glasses (don’t ask. ) and on both occasions I have been able to take needle-nose pliers to these bad boys and wrench them back into shape.

I have a drawer of pieces from which I can Frankenstein backup pairs together. Worn these frames daily, and exclusively, for 5-6 years now. NO other pair of everyday glasses will put up with this kind of torture, and the Ray Ban lenses last a very long time if cleaned with microfiber.

These are great frames. Very light but very strong. I wanted glasses that would not slide off my face and these do the trick. They look great, too! Very happy with my purchase. Excellent job, EZCONTACTS.

I chose this frame because it was a large enough size to work well with blue cut lenses. The frame is a matte plastic type of frame. And the temples are easy to adjust yourself since the tips are made of some kind of memory material that is relatively easy to bend.

And as an added bonus. The screws on top look like they could be tightened with a regular screwdriver. so that is handy if you manage to loosen the temples somehow. I’ll definitely be ordering more frames from here though.

Found this site online trying to find an affordable pair of prescription glasses. Let me say WOW what a find. These glasses may be low price but they aren\’t low quality. Lenses are exactly to my specification.

My 1 year old daughter constantly grabs my glasses bending them and leaving smudge marks but a quick rinse under water they are like new. Also the temple area is easy to adjust and comes with instructions on how to do so.

Would definitely recommend a pair of these for anyone looking for a good inexpensive pair of glasses. Plus being able to donate a free pair to a location of your choosing is another great benefit.

I ordered mine in the form of permanent bifocal sunglasses. I like the squared look. But. I wish the general shape was a little more wrap-around. And I also wish the side arms were wider to help block sunlight coming in from the side.

Other than that. They fit very well and sufficiently block the wind when I ride around on my scooter. The ends of the arms where they curve around your ear. Go from plastic to rubber (or some other form of softer-than-plastic material) which is very comfortable also.

I give the 4 out of 5.

When my glasses broke a week before my flight to NY I called my eye company (pearl vision) and they didn’t have my lenses on hand, which they never do because my prescription is so strong I was told it would take 2weeks to get them after I came in and scheduled an appointment.

At this point I was searching for ways to tape my glasses, I went and got a hot glue gun, which did nothing, it kept falling apart. My friend then referred me to eye buy direct and I got these glasses that said 2 day shipping but I wasn’t expecting it to come too soon because my lens are always thick due to my perception, to my surprise I order these Sunday night 7/20/20 and they came this Tuesday morning at 8am 7/21/20 I didn’t have to leave the comfort of my home at all.

I was skeptical to order glasses online for the fact that. I have a pea-sized head and I typically will love frames but they’d be too big for my face. I thought I’d take a chance and order them and thought if I didn’t like them.

I’d just return them. They came really fast in the mail (not fast enough when you’re PUMPED. ) They come in a nice hard cardboard box that definitely is the case I keep them in now. Along with a cleaning cloth that is also the holder for them.

And instructions on how to clean them. Or reshape them if needed. When I put them on. I FELL INLOVE you guys. The quality is amazing. They look JUST like the picture. And they even look good on my pea-sized head.

I was hesitant to order glasses online for the first time. But these are great and only cost me about 25 bucks including shipping. My prescription isn’t super strong. So they may be a little more depending on that.

They fit nicely and I like that the lenses are larger than my older pair. Although I like the tortoise frames. I might pick up this same pair in black because the brown color is lighter than I expected.

They are surprisingly sturdy though. No complaints there :).

I’ve wanted a pair of glasses like these for years but wasn’t sure I could pull them off because my face is uber petite and narrow. The site’s return policy and bogo sale persuaded me to give them a shot and I was so pleasantly surprised! They do look a little goofy from head on but being a petite girl in oversized stuff: that’s kind of the point.

They’re really fun. It’s not goofy enough to be ridiculous. Just perfect for a bit of a fashion statement. These for me are definitely not an everyday pair but are outfit dependent and super great to utilize as an accessory.

I have a high (-4. 50) prescription and chose high (but not the highest) index lenses and they look good. Aren’t super thick on the edges. My one complaint is the white rim inside the frame because of the thicker lenses.

Highest index would probably fix that problem and definitely give them that more delicate look. The quality of these glasses is very good especially for the price! I think they’ll hold up well. I love these and am so happy I gave them a shot.

If you’re a petite person wanting to get these but are afraid of their size. Just try it! They might surprise you. Too. All you need is a bit of confidence and you’ll definitely pull these off.

I have been buying frames from EyeBuy Direct for quite a few years. And I have purchased multiple pairs in the Socrates frames – bi-focals. Sunglasses. Distance-only – and I have never had a pair break on me.

The frame is sturdy. But not heavy; attractive and comfortable. They have NEVER lost a nose pad. And if I were to buy comparable frames from a local optician. They would have cost 5 times as much! I have tried several other frames over the years.

And my one bit of advice on metal frames is to avoid the ones where the side pieces are flattened to join with the hinge on the frame. As they seem prone to losing screws or breaking off at the hinge.

EyeBuy Direct does have Titanium frames. And I did try a pair. But didn\’t really like them. I had worn the Profile type from my local Optician in the past. Which I did like. But they cost $400 just for the frames.

The Profile Titanium don\’t even have a hinge – the side pieces are flattened and just flex. Which I found durable. And lacked the rather noticeable attachment nuts on the EyeBuyDirect Titanium frames that I thought detracted from the appearance.

As did the hinges. Which were clearly unnecessary from my experience with the profile frames. I hope EyeBuy Direct will begin carrying Titanium frames in the future with the flat ribbon side piece design and small mounting screws like The Profile style frames.

But I am perfectly happy to keep wearing the Socrates frames for the next 10 years. And I applaud their continuing to carry this versatile frame for those of us who love the round-oval frame look.

I ordered two pair of backup eyeglasses for the one pair I had purchased at the local eyeglass shop. My frames had broken right in the middle of Covid lockdown, although the shop wasn’t open the owner met me there and ordered replacement frames which ended up costing $180.

Just for the frames. My prescription is complicated, I get invisiline, progressive, and glare & scratch guard. Ordering from Eyebuy Direct provided me with the exact glasses with features and all complete for LESS than I paid just for the frames.

There is not any other frame on this site that fits my VERY wide headas well as these frames do. If these frames ever leave this site, I will most likely have to buy my next pair of glasses from someplace else.

I use them, a pair at work, a pair at my computer at home, a pair for reading (with a broken bridge because I\’m afraid of them going out of stock) and a pair with extra magnification for when I need to do fine work, or my eyes are extra tired for reading.

The acetate is a bit brittle, so I try to be very gentle when removing and putting on. But as I said, these are the only frames that fit, and I\’ve tried MANY different ones on this site. Very comfortable.

I wear them starting at 6am until sometimes late into the afternoon. These are the frames to get if your head is wider than most. Or if it\’s wider than that.

For starters. Customer service is great. My eye doctor gave me the wrong prescription and eyebuy direct let me exchange my glasses twice until I got the right pair. I am so in love with my new glasses.

And they were SUPER affordable. I will absolutely be buying a pair for my husband and some sunglasses for me. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because when you hold the glasses. They are very light and feel very plasticy and they made my ears hurt a tad the first few days but now they’re getting better.

I personally don’t think they look cheap while wearing. They are comfortable and didn’t need to get them adjusted. Needless to say. I definitely suggest these glasses!.

I have only ordered glasses online once before from another company and wasn’t particularly happy with the frames because there were MUCH larger than I expected. Nevertheless, I decided to try to buy a pair of frames from Zenni.

The price was so low, I felt, even if they were garbage, I would have an inexpensive learning experience. The glasses I ordered were the size I wanted with the features I wanted. Ironically, the shipping was more expensive than the frames, but that is not because it was unreasonable, it is because the frames were so inexpensive, and I am in Canada.

I will likely order a couple more pairs as there is an option sunglasses clip on specifically for the frames. In the summer, I work in the sun and this I feel will be helpful. Since I didn’t know how well the company did with lens production, I decided to get my lenses made here, but in hindsight, I don’t think it would have been a problem to have them made by Zenni given the quality of the frames.

I will know over time whether the paint comes off, but so far so good. One thing I wish I could have done was having the ear ends replaced with the aviator style because I use these classes when I run and guard at a pool.

So, I want to keep them on. My local optometrist did that for me, but still, that would have been a nice add-on. The frames came about a week faster than expected and that was with COVID, so clearly shipping is not an issue with this company.

I got these from Zenni in 2 weeks with standard shipping. The frames are budget, obviously, but are very good. The prescription is perfect and took me no time at all to adjust to them. Also, the less expensive Zenni photochromic lenses are just as good as Transitions.

I do not understand all the negative reviews which claim that they do not darken well. All photochromic have a break in period where the change is slower at first. I’ve attached a photo to show my new glasses after sitting outside for 5 minutes.

$45 for new glasses with high index lenses, photochromic, antiglare and antiscratch, perfect script. AMAZING.

I went and got my eyes checked at a competitor and even bought a pair of glasses. These were very nice mid-level glasses with almost no bells and whistles. I then went to the Zenni site and ordered two pairs with some add in’s (anti fog, anti glare, clip on sunglasses, etc.

) for about $50 less than the first pair I had ordered. I received these at the same time as the ones from the brick and mortar store and was greatly impressed. I hadn’t used Zenni in the past but am now telling friends, family members, and co-workers about them.

My next pairs will come from Zenni for sure!.

Everyone’s face is different. Obviously. So take this with a grain of salt. But these are literally the best frames I’ve ever bought. In 20 years of wearing glasses and contacts I haven’t ever been 100% happy with anything.

The prescription was made perfectly. They fit perfectly. They feel incredible (lightweight. And the matte finish is awesome). I actually bought a pair of similar glasses from another website just a couple weeks before (I had been debating between those and these).

And when the others arrived. I didn’t like them much. And they were crooked. So I sent them back and got these which were $40 less. And I don’t even think about wearing contacts now. Because I’ve discovered once you find glasses that you *LIKE*.

You don’t mind wearing them at all. If these fit your face. Absolutely get them.
