20 Best Long Range Bluetooth Earbuds (2023 Updated)

Otium headphones are great quality for the price. I have owned several pairs of wireless headphones and have been impressed with the output and quality of these headphones. The battery life is great for the the charge time.

I go weeks without charging them and they still sound great up until they die. The quality of sound is the only negative aspect of the product. When this product is looked at alone they are great but when is comparison to other products the flaws become evident.

The sound at the lower levels is dim and unpronounced whereas with my other headphones they have sounded good and any volume input. The headphones also tend to be spotty when used at distances over 5 feet which is not terrible but it is annoying when you have long distances that need to be spanned.

Another complaint would be the quality of bass at high volumes. I Feel it delivers in lower settings but does not have quite as good of an output at higher volumes bass wise. As far as midrange and high range the sound is good throughout the sound spectrum.

Another picky detail is the ear clamp is sized for people with larger ears. I have smaller ears and the ear clamps aren’t capable of holding on to my ears during intense cardio workouts or running. When lifting however the rubber ear fashioning is enough to keep the whole ear bud in my ear and comfortable.

As far as aesthetics go I love the dark black color with the brims accented with a dull red. Delivery and packaging was great, the headphones come with a carry container and carabiner that are perfect for the product.

Overall the product is great when taking into account the price for $20-$40 you definitely get a great product. With a few minor tune ups i’m sure this product could compete with other headphones valued at twice the price.

Apon opening it looks like a great product, but the first few minutes with it were hard. The charging port was covered with the usual looking rubber cover thing, I was like all right lets charge this thing up.

This was part of the first problem, it didnt wanna open, after coubtless tries opening it i ended up getting the tip of a mechanical pencil and opened it from the side. Because of this flaw the rubber thing now is half open and sometimes pops off from one side leaving it there to dangle.

Then making the waterproof part a bit less realistic. It quickly charged, i was happy for that. But when I began using them I was instantly let down with the audio quality it sounded muffled like if you were to put a cloth over them and listen to the music like that.

They did fit in my ears very well though, so depending on what you look for in earbuds as in audio quality I would look for something a bit better. But as in style and it actually functioning i would accept these.

No previous experience with the product. I have trouble sleeping resulting from neck pain and like music while trying to sleep,. Until recently I have been using bulky headphones which caused a problem when using a cold pack on my neck.

“Hang-in” ear buds will not stay seated when I am prone but these stay in my ear the best of any, including my hearing aids. The pieces that circle the ear are soft and comfortable. I do not like the rectangle design.

Pairing to an iPhone is a snap and the three multifunction buttons, although very small, function as described. The charge port is ok but could be located more conveniently. As designed it is located next to the red wire connecting both ear buds making it difficult to seat the charge cord for fear of damaging the cord.

Sound quality is excellent. Instructional voice could be slightly louder. No information on endurance since I have had mine for about three weeks only. This device solved a problem for me.

So impressed with the sound quality, that I bought some for my son as well. With three different sizes of rubbers, you can make them very comfortable. Quick to recharge, and the carry case gives approximately 3 more full charges.

The only downside is the carry case is very smooth, so can easily slip through your fingers if you’re not careful.

Pros: Good battery life, decent sound quality, syncs easily, low latency mode works well. Cons: You cannot adjust the volume. The isolation could be better. It could allow to re-sync without the case.

I bought the older model 2 years ago. They were working well for 2 years until they ended in my washing machine. I just bought the newer model and so far so good. I mostly use them for the gym so I don’t have to worry about destroying them and they handle quite good.

The packaging of the NC2 earbuds is exceptional! Tozo provides 8 different size ear cushions, so you should have no problem finding your perfect fit. They also come with an 18 month warranty that you need to go online and activate.

This is a big plus and exceeds the typical 1 year warranty of the competition. Their customer service is very responsive via email and has answered my questions in a timely manner. These earbuds have amazing sound! The bass is deep with great mids and decent highs.

The volume is quite loud with very little if any distortion. The ANC mode blows away the previous versions! The ambient mode is Incredible!!! With these I can wear both and just turn on ambient. I can enjoy full stereo sound and talk with my coworkers at the same time! Calls are clear, and people cannot even tell that I am speaking over the earbuds.

Bluetooth 5. 2 functionality really increases the range and connection stability, and I can wear them everywhere in my apartment. The wireless charging is very convenient and beats connecting a charger using the USB-C cable.

The TOZO NC2 case is designed such that the earbuds are difficult to remove with ease using a couple of fingers. This is a design fault that Tozo engineers need to improve upon in the next generation of this model.

The NC2 earbuds are an excellent value and outperform the competition for earbuds at a much higher pricepoint. I would recommend these as a superior buy to anyone looking for a set of quality bluetooth earbuds.

Pros: Super easy to pair with my devices. The Active Noise Cancelling is awesome for a budget pair of earpods, better than i was expecting. Used them while mowing and I could barely hear the mower’s engine running and only had the volume at 60%.

The design of the earbud is really compact compared to my last pair. They fit my ear really well but I had to use the smallest rubber tips due to really small ear canals. The awesome thing is they stay in my ears! My last ones fell out slowly over a few minutes and I had push them back in but not the Tozo NC2s, the stay put.

They don’t protrude to far out of my ear. The finish is something I really like, it’s a flat black finish that doesn’t scream “Look at me”. Overall an A design by the engineers. The case is a great case, keeps the earbuds in magnetically and they don’t fall out easily.

I love getting a few extra earbud charges really fast out of the case without having to plug it in for power. They case and earbuds easily make it through my work day but that’s with ANC turned off. The sound stage is better than my last pair, more bass and I feel like I’m listening to some great quality speakers in my office.

So if you like bass then these are great for you. The mid-bass is really good too. Podcast, news etc all sound amazingly lifelike. Different types of music on the other hand make a huge difference. Most sounds way better than other budget earpods in this price range.

I like heavy metal and rock and the top end is missing a bit on these for me, it’s there just not enough, an eq on your phone will somewhat fix it with some tweaking. I love that I can use just one at a time.

I get about 5 hours of time with ANC off, no where near the 8 hours they state, I’d be happy with 6 hours. Cons: Microphone for calls is lacking a bit, doesn’t sound the best but works. The person on the other end can hear you but sometimes has issues.

No app to tweak the EQ, check battery percent or to update firmware etc. Many others have an app and it makes a nice improvement but the app is not needed. Batter life, as stated before, I get about 4-5 hours of actual use time around the 60% volume level with ANC off.

They claim 8 hours, don’t expect that or even close to it. Maybe I got a bad pair? The case does not have wireless charging but I knew that purchasing them. Even Tozo’s cheaper earbuds have wireless charging, not sure why they didn’t include it with these earbuds since we pay more for them.

The included charging cable is super short and no included charging brick. I do not like the new trend of not including decent length cables or chargers. Those are some of the cheapest things to include.

Overall I still suggest this is an excellent purchase, I would buy another pair if these got lost or damaged.

I’ve been using Tozo earphones a few years now and these are my favorite. Good frequency range, they have some low end without overkill. I think the noise cancellation on these is better than the NC-9, though no earphone will cancel as much as fullsize “can” headphones.

This will vary by person, but I also find this model fits me best. They stay nice and secure without the eventual discomfort of the sporty T5s. The airpod design works well for charging. These sit very securely in the case unlike the T5, so there are no issues making a connection to charge.

For what it’s worth, Tozo plans to reimburse me for these earphones, however I’m writing this before submitting reimbursement and I’ve left unfavorable reviews in the past (Tozo T5 on Amazon). As mentioned, I own a number of different Tozo models.

Overally I’ve been impressed with quality and longevity. I shopped at a big box store over the summer and honestly couldn’t find anything comparable for less than twice the money. I ended up spending about $50 on a well known brand just because I wanted a set connected by a wire to sleep on a long flight.

While I’ve been happy with those, the sound quality is not to my liking as much as most of my Tozo models.

Firstly, I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to see the minimal no fuss packaging to promote sustainability and the ability to recycle afterwards. I love this and think more companies should do things like this especially with the modern day era of needing to be more sustainable.

Setting up and using the earphones with respect to connectivity was just an absolute breeze which was also very refreshing, with the app being easy to navigate and very aesthetic and nice to use. Being able to do commands and link to Spotify with certain taps I thought was also ingenious.

I always resisted buying earbud type earphones due to concern of losing them, poor fit, poor sound but these earphones certainly did not disappoint. I was able to dismiss these concerns pretty much straight away.

When I switched to the smaller earbud side, the fit was perfect and the sound quality for this priced product was so good in my opinion. I felt the colour and shape also looked good when I was using them.

The bass was brilliant when testing certain tracks that I usually need a good sound system to play. the quality when using them for phone calls was also very good. The feature that allows you to hear external sounds when you need to was helpful too.

The range via bluetooth I have found to be perfect for me and the battery life so far is good. I also really like the case and the fact it charges the earbuds and is easy to charge itself with the fast usb C type adapter.

So I do not really need to worry about what to do when they may be low on battery or even losing the earbuds themself as they securely fit with magnets into the case- which is also sleek and compact in design.

Overall, I am really glad I made this purchase and have been enjoying using them ever since I unpacked them. I would highly recommend.

I’ve only really been into running for about six months, so have been looking for a pair of compact and small earbuds that deliver good sound quality, but with being able to hear my surroundings. Now these are unbelievable and really do deliver.

It has been the first time I’ve EVER had to turn DOWN the low frequencies. The Bass is unreal on these small and compact buds, and I’m just blown away with the sound, literary. I’m usually a very critical person, but I was surprised with these little units.

Now the packaging is basic, with a ‘not sure about this’ feel, but very eco and glad to see this. You have a variety of ear size adaptors in the box, but the ones fitted work just fine for me. One little twist and these sit snug in the ear.

Initial thoughts are ‘I’m going to lose these’ but on quick runs, they never slip and sit just right. As for the setup, you are going to require a smartphone. The iPhone app was just fine and took a few minutes to set up.

The update to the earbud however took longer, but nice to see that they are ‘upgradeable’ via firmware updates. The pass-thru audio is a nice touch, if but a little ‘surreal’ and feels a little amplified at times.

However, my hearing is not amazing and I was able to clearly talk and hear people, so top marks on this. My best feature, even if a requirement for some, is being able to pair it with my Apple Watch, something that can be troublesome, but works really well between the phone and watch.

The buttons on the logo’s are just as good, Te Left and Right buttons work really well. Just a left tap and ‘HearThrough’ is enabled/disabled and Right to resume audio. Right Double-taps to skip tracks.

The box contains everything you are going to need, a USB-A to C charge lead (15cm), Earbud adaptors, (Small and Large) and the Charge case with buds inside, with mine arriving fully charged! Given that they are not the TOP END versions, the higher-end ones must be amazing.

I researched for earbuds that don’t push inside the ear canal because I cannot stand that, it’s too uncomfortable for me, I’m used to wearing over the ear headphones; and I wanted something that looks pretty and don’t fall out easily so I can use them during workout.

These earbuds fit what I wanted. The color is very pretty (rose gold), although the bean shape might seem weird at first, but they look very good when put on, they don’t stick out too much which is good for when I laid my head on the pillow on the side.

As for the fit, the box comes with 2 sizes of wings (small and large), neither small or large wings fit my ears, the buds would always fall out on their own and my ears will hurt after wearing them after a while, and no matter how I adjust the angles I put on the earbuds, they won’t fit! I was about to return them because of the poor fit, but I found some medium size wings online; and when I put the earbuds with the medium size wings on, omg they finally stay on my ears without falling out and feel comfortable enough to wear for hours! With the medium wings I bought, these buds stayed on even when I work out and when I shake my head really fast.

Future note for Samsung, please include medium size wings for you earbuds, it makes no sense to only have small and large sizes. For battery life, I found that these buds would last about 4. 5 hours with continuous use with mid-high volume, but they charge pretty fast in the case.

When I put them back in the case for about 15 minutes, the buds would have over 50% battery. With the buds and case fully charged, they last approximately 17-18 hours (based on my usage), I usually charge the case every 3 or 4 days depending on how much I use them.

I like that the case can be wirelessly charged, it’s very convenient for me. Now let’s talk about the sound of these earbuds, I mainly listen to rock and metal music, and these buds can handle some subgenres of rock but not others.

For example, they can’t handle the complex sounds of shoegaze, no wave, heavy metal. etc. Anything that involves multiple instruments producing complicated layers of sounds, these buds can’t handle them very well.

Maybe I’m spoiled by my Marshall headphones that are designed to be more powerful and better for listening to rock and metal, I just can’t distinguish the different layers of sounds with these earbuds, the sounds are all meshed up together or too distorted.

However, these earbuds do have some powerful bass for their small size! I listened to some bass heavy songs, and these buds deliver them all very well. Overall, I don’t recommend these earbuds for people who’s going to use them mainly for listening to rock and metal music.

But to be fair, I probably shouldn’t be comparing these earbuds to headphones which are designed to be more powerful, these buds produce clear sounds for most other genres like ballad, jazz, blue. and watching videos or listening to podcasts.

And I only use these buds occasionally when I’m working out and laying on bed watching videos, so they’re good for my usage. Last thing I want to mention is the active noise cancellation (ANC), they’re definitely not the best ANC earbuds, they draw out most low frequency sounds but even with the volume set to highest and ANC on, I can pretty much hear everything surrounding me.

However, the design is open-ear, and I think Samsung does advertise the ANC to only be able to block out low frequency sounds so I wasn’t expecting much noise cancellation with these earbuds. In conclusion, I would recommend these earbuds to those like me who cannot stand to wear earbuds that push into ear canal, produce decent sounds with good bass, don’t mind the weak ANC, comfortable to wear for hours (with the right fit), and good quality.

Some background info: I tested the Sirius Pro + TWS on two different PCs (basic Dell work laptop and an MSI gaming rig), a Google Pixel 5, and an iPhone 11. All of the comments below apply to all the systems on which I tested the headphones.

Like the title says, the sounds quality is excellent and the build quality is good. Case is heavy-duty and charges pretty quickly. Headphones look nice and fit well in the ears (make sure you pick the correct silicone ear piece, it made a world of difference when I switched up to the largest size).

However, there are some flaws, the biggest of which is that the microphone is weak and there is usually a lot of background noise when speaking. If you’re planning to use these extensively for phone calls or voice chat while gaming, you might find that you have to speak VERY loud for people to hear you loud-and-clear.

Rotating the ear buds in your ears, so that the mic isn’t covered by your ear lobe, does help somewhat, but you still have to significantly project your voice. Whispering in any capacity is an absolute no-go, the mic barely picks up your voice and it sounds muffled to the other user.

The “Environmental Noise Cancelling” mentioned above only seems to work when you speak very loud, otherwise it registers your voice as “background noise” and it gets cut out. The other, more-minor issues, is that the smooth earbud housing can be tough to get removed from the case.

Twisting while pulling usually does the trick but it would be better if the outer housing was textured. I will likely add a little rubber-grip sticky tape to the outside to make it easier. The touch sensing on the ear buds can also be a bit finicky.

Trying to tap once to stop a call will result in your music coming back online, even if you didn’t mean to turn music on. This can probably be alleviated with some practice, but out of the box it was tricky trying to figure out how to properly use the controls, it’s not exactly intuitive.

Would love to see some software that you could use to program the touch controls to perform specific actions. I typically don’t want music to play immediately upon hanging up a phone call, but with the way the touch controls currently work, that’s what seems to happen.

Might be “user error” on my part, but it is definitely a thing that happens frequently. Would also be nice to have external software so you could do firmware updates if necessary. Overall, as a set of Bluetooth headphones, they’re great.

But as a headset that is used to voice calls and two-way communication, it’s only average. Also, PS5 doesn’t accept Bluetooth audio accessories, so I’ll likely just stick to my gaming headset for actual gaming, and use these for my phone and PC.

Will update this review as I use the headphones more and see if I can figure out fixes for the microphone sound quality issues.

The whole experience starts as soon as you open the box. Just the packaging is cool, as soon as you see it. you know you’ve purchased a quality product. Next thing you notice is the construction, the charger case that the ear buds sit in is made from quality aluminum.

The case has a nice weight to it, it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheesy at all and it’s still small and light enough to carry in your pocket and forget it’s there. The ear buds themselves are super lightweight and very comfortable (the most comfortable ear buds I’ve ever worn), they fit in your ear perfectly and it’s like they’re hardly even there.

The audio quality and noise cancellation are outstanding, if you’ve got both ear buds in and have your music at a comfortable listening volume, you couldn’t hear someone talking even if they were sitting right next to you.

If I had to find anything to complain about. there would be two things. 1. The button to release the latch on the charging case seems a little flimsy, like it may break after too much use & 2. The charging cable that comes with the ear buds is very short, not too big of a problem though as its a standard USB Type C so finding a longer charging cable isn’t an issue if it bothered you that much.

If you’re thinking about purchasing any of the Sirius Pro ear buds. stop thinking and just buy them! You won’t be disappointed!.

As the title mentions, I am totally surprised by the quality and range of those earbuds. I listen to many different styles of music, I’m an audiophile, I USUALLY aim for headphones/earbuds that give a flat frequency response, because it usually allows me to not miss out on anything going on in the song I’m listening to.

Some headphones are more tailored for specific audiences and will favor some frequencies over others which is a bummer if you’re like me, maybe a more bassy pair of earbuds isn’t for you if you listen to folk music for example.

Well, even though the Sirius Pro earbuds tend to have more bass and more punchy impactful drums, the rest of the audio spectrum barely suffers from that design choice. I tried listening to nightcore, hip-hop, rap, trap, folk, and I was surprised to hear that despite the aformentioned frequencies being favored, everything is satisfying.

I could go from one style to the other without feeling like something’s missing in any department, or at least it’s not really that bad, if by any chance you would feel like some frequencies would need some more attention, you wouldn’t have too much to play with on your phone’s equalizer to make up for that.

I really really recommend that you get those earbuds for yourself, try them out if possible. I personally am really satisfied by the product !.

As with any Sony product the WF-C500 ear buds come in simple, classy and well designed packaging that now avoids plastic so is easily recycled. I have a confession to make…. I’m not a techie………but I love a gadget so don’t want to be wasting time on complicated instructions and was pleased to find the usual Sony quick steps diagram and a QR code that once scanned leads you to an easily installed and intuitive headphone app which meant I could quickly start putting the buds through their paces.

While the case itself isn’t the most expensive looking bit of kit it does feel sturdy and it’s angled base gives it an up to date appearance. The buds come with a choice of large/medium or small ear tips and the ergonomic design of the buds themselves make for a snug fit which makes them easy to wear for extended periods of time.

As you take the buds from the case the voice prompt, a nice touch, informs you of the battery level and connectivity status and so far, whether using my phone or tablet to connect, the Bluetooth link has been swift and trouble free.

And so to the most important part of the review…. how do they sound? While not a techie I do love my music so put them through their paces testing them from AC/DC to John Martyn and the classics. The app enables you to easily tailor their set up and includes pre sets, a graphic equaliser, bass boost and Sony’s additional DSEE (digital sound enhancement engine) option which upscales the audio.

Also included is a 360 Reality Audio format but this sadly will only work with a limited number of streaming services none of which I subscribe to so was unable to test. Having chosen a set up to compliment my music choice I must say I was really impressed with the quality of the sound.

I have a much more expensive pair of headphones [Sony of course] that I can’t help comparing the ear buds to and must say they performed very well indeed. Certainly the bass level isn’t ‘booming’ but this isn’t always a bad thing as often too much bass can change the feel of a track as much as too too much treble.

These ear buds play to the middle ground being neither too rich nor too ‘tinny’. My go to track to test any system is John Martyn’s ‘Small Hours’ and these did a great job, revealing the complexity of the many layers present that allow you to drift along on it’s dreamlike quality, very impressive! I like the fuss free controls, the left bud controls the volume and the right play and pause, they also have a very reasonable 20hr battery life.

To sum up I know these aren’t the most expensive ear buds available but they don’t feel or sound ‘cheap’. They are well built, comfortable and easy to wear, have simple controls, link easily with phone or tablet, have a reasonable battery life and more than do justice to a range of music genre and podcasts.

`True they don’t include noise cancelling but they do have. a good volume level and have a clarity that enhances any track which means you can concentrate on the music and avoid external distractions.

I’m looking forward to spending more time with them!.

The ear buds come in a strong, durable plastic case that comfortably slides into your pocket. I found charging to be very quick and particularly liked the orange glow that was visible through the lid whilst charging.

Battery life was more than sufficient for my needs. The longest period I used them for was about 3 hours after which I popped them back in the case and the battery was topped up. The strong magnets hold the earbuds securely in the case and avoid them being accidentally dropped when opening the case.

Particularly useful at the gym. Tried all the different sized ear tips and found the middle sized tip to be the most comfortable. They fit securely and never felt as though they were about to fall out.

Ideal for exercising as opposed to the over the head headphones that can sometimes be difficult to keep in place when exercising on treadmills etc. The Sony Headphone Connect app was very straightforward to download onto my iPhone and iPad by scanning the QR code found on the leaflet.

The push button controls on the ear buds were easy to use. The left ear controlling the volume – tap to increase and hold down to reduce volume. Tapping the right ear enabled the music to be paused. I was impressed by the volume range and even at high volume there was no distortion to the sound.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound on incoming telephone calls. The music was paused and the sound was exceptionally clear and the caller had no problem in hearing my voice through the microphone.

By accessing the app you can play around with the various sound adjustments to easily find the most pleasing for your individual requirements. Overall I find it extremely difficult to criticize anything on the WF-C500 ear buds.

They offer exceptional value for money.

I was tossing up between these and the Jabra Elite 3’s, which are slightly cheaper, but decided on these as I already have the WH-1000XM4’s so wanted to control both through the same (Android) app. I have had these for a month now and have zero regrets with this purchase.

I use these on my commute (walking), and at the gym (cycling), also while chewing gum and I’ve had no issues with them falling out. They come with the standard 3 different-sized rubber ear buds so if you have had success with these in wired earbuds then you should have no issues here.

The shape of the headphones themselves probably lend themselves to staying in better than regular wired headphones as well. The build quality is solid, with strong magnets to keep them in position within the case.

You get a helpful voice notification telling you Bluetooth is connected and battery status when you put them in. Sound quality is good, they are obviously not noise-cancelling but if you’re using these while being active you may not miss that feature (I certainly don’t).

You can also tweak some of the sound settings within the app, which works really well. I’ve been using these consistently and not had any issues with the lack of extra charging capacity from the case that was mentioned in other reviews.

Finally the shortcuts make sense, with volume/skip/start/stop controls by pressing a button on the earpiece itself. I mostly just use start/stop and it works well. Overall I would highly recommend these headphones!.

Purchased for $15 dollars CAD with a really good promotion that was going on. Still question if they’re worth it at that price. Sound is reasonably OK for the price and doesn’t actually sound terrible.

Noise cancelling is there but obviously not great. I do like the sleek design of the case and the sliding mechanism. Now the downsides. Two annoying things about this include bluetooth connection and the utility of the case/shape of earphones.

From my experience, if an ear loses connection to bluetooth (which does occur and has happened on 2-3 occasions in one 2-hour workout session), you have to physically place them back into the case and take them out again for it to reconnect.

Maybe I’m just not tech saavy but its not intuitive how this can be reconnected without resetting it using the case. This for me, was enough to make me not want to pay even $10 for this. Second of all, the earphones are really smooth and have dropped on multiple occassions and I honestly have a hard time differentiating left from right when I take it out of the case.

Maybe that’ll come with time but its been 2 months and I still fumble with it when taking it out which is also annoying. Also it takes multiple attempts to put the earphones back into the case for me, its like doing a jigsaw puzzle and out of the 30+ times I’ve used it, I can’t say that I’ve gotten it first try.

Lastly the touch buttons on the earphones aren’t terrible and work but aren’t as responsive as others that I’ve tried. Perhaps I hyperfocus on the flaws as I’m comparing this to my jabra active elite 65Ts and 75Ts which are in a completely different calibre of quality for earphones.

So I guess if anyone has read this review and wants a take away message from my experience, I’d say don’t pay anything more than $20 for these earphones. Definitely do not pay full price. Or do, its up to you.

To be honest, it is the best earbuds at this price range. Thanks to Lenovo for its pricing and discounts. This Droplet earbuds are a true value for many and a thousand times better than other earbuds available in the market at this price range.

The sound quality is superb, although I wished for a higher bass, but it does the job perfectly so no compromises. In this price range, it is also hard to find good quality touch sensitive earbuds like the one Lenovo provides.

I will give Lenovo 9. 5/10 for this product. The charging case has a very unique design as well unmatched with other earbuds, which is very light and small, easily to be carried. It comes with USB Type-C charging which impressed me, a small cable comes with the packet.

Additionally, the extra eartips are helpful. I love this product and these are my views! Thanks Lenovo for providing value for money!!.

These are fantastic for the price. I’ve used these around the yard and garage, and mainly for listening to gardening videos on YouTube. Pairing was easy, and I like how they turn on and off when you remove/replace them in their charging case.

They last between 2-3 hours on a charge, which could be better, but considering the price, is adequate. The range isn’t stellar – maybe about 25 feet, or about half the range of my wireless speakers, but it’s enough if you’re in the same room with your phone.

I particularly like the compact design without the dangly bit the Airpods have – I found they were easy to orient correctly, and it’s great that you can put earmuffs over them without issue. Sound quality wasn’t a problem for my use case.

I didn’t use them for voice calls, nor did I use the built-in controls, as I primarily bought them to listen to podcasts/music while I do work around the garage and yard, often wearing earmuffs.

This comes securely packed to ensure it hasn’t been tampered with. Included is a handy case and extra ear pads. Charging the earbuds is easy and fast with the included USB charger. The earbuds do a great job in terms of sound quality and are a comfortable fit.

The audio range seems to be quite decent. The iJOY earbuds work well with my iPod, cell phone, computer and virtual sessions. I really like that I can make phone calls and listen to my messages without having to go looking for my Bluetooth.

I bought a well-known wireless earbuds brand previously that was priced much higher and the sound was a little clearer and sharper. However, the difference in sound quality isn’t that substantial. A BIG PLUS that the iJOY earbuds has over the well-known, higher-priced earbuds is the ability to control the volume and start/stop songs with the earbuds instead of having to turn on/off my iPod.

I wished I had found this sooner as the quality is comparable and the price is much lower. As for durability, the earbuds appear as if they’ll last for a long time.

The good: the sound quality is actually not bad! They fell out and landed on the ground while jogging and didn’t break. The charging case is a nice pocket size and will get you a few charges before needing recharged with it’s supplied cable.

You will need your own block to stick the usb side into. The unboxing is nice and makes it look like it’s going to be a really nice set if earbuds. The Bad: The volume control is really bad. The range from low to high isn’t that far.

The lowest volume is about what other earbuds have as medium sound level. It goes from medium to mute with no low range. This is the case when I use my phone’s volume control or the earbuds. They fell out while jogging.

Plan on using a headband to keep them in place if you are moving around a lot. The right earbud isn’t turning on automatically when I pull them out of the case and connect them with my phone. I have to turn on the right earbud manually even the the right connects without doing so.

I wanted to see if my husband and I could listen to the same song at the same time. When we did that they kept cutting out even though we were right next to each other walking. When I put them both back in they stopped cutting out.

By no stretch of the imagination are the Airdots awful, they just aren’t amazing either. These were my first wireless earphones and I was surprised at how good they were for the price I paid. Branded wireless earphones for less than a tenner? Fair to say I was quiet happy.

As time went by, the issues came up. As I got used to them, I realised they were quite bassy. The overall quality was good for what you pay for, but they could be better. They also developed a strange ticking noise when you paused or skipped a song as well as a noise similar to what you used to get when your phone was next to a speaker and you received a text.

Having said that, my wife also has a pair and she has not had this problem with them. Comfort on these earphones are surprisingly good. They do fit in the ear quite well I found and they do look quite smart, given they were much cheaper than other branded earphones.

Battery life is neither here nor there to be honest. Had varied use from these. Sometimes I would only get 1 hour, other times I’d get 2. Simple conclusion is you get what you pay for. They aren’t awful.

They aren’t amazing either. Since invested in some Galaxy Buds which are much better.

I bought 2 Xiaomi Redmi AirDots when it came out in 2018. They were perfect and great value. During a trip I lost 1 pair so I order more. Here is the trouble. When I received them (I bought 2 pairs again), the boxes are all beated up as they were all squashed in a padded envelope.

Then when I tried connecting them to my phone, the left earbud kept disconnecting. I searched the web and found a way to reset them (both sides). But still the left earbud kept disconnecting. So I tried another pair.

Although this time the left earbud kept the connection in the beginning, it kept making a humming noise. To test them out to make sure it is not my phone, I tried them on different phone, a tablet, and a PC, they all experience the same problems.

Then I checked the box and it says they are the “Basic” version but with the same model number I got in 2018. I also notice the quality on the charging box is so bad that the fittings are not tight like my old ones.

One of the buds never sit right in the slot. I think this brand is going downhill by cutting corners to gain more profit.

Pros: –Very affordable –Lightweight –Good build quality. SIGNIFICANTLY better than all those fake AirPods going around lately (BlackPods etc) –Good battery life –Great package size, both in pocket and in ear The only downside? Terrible sound quality.

Imagine those free earbuds you’re given when you board a plane for the on-board entertainment, or the earbuds that came with that $2 pocket radio you bought — they’re that bad. They lack clarity, they are muffled, they distort at volume, and the sound is downright uninspiring.

Foam eartips do not help. If this is your budget and you can’t afford any more for wireless headphones, then you will not get a better product at this price. However, its worth putting aside just a bit more money and looking at some other $50-$100 options to make up for the sound quality.

I’ve been through quite a few different wireless earbuds over the last few years so I have some experience with different products. Pros: Size – Their footprint is nice and small, and once inserted in the ear they are streamlined with the ear and don’t stick out.

For example, the Sony WF-1000XM4 are huge, and stick out from your ear quite a bit. Fitment – I like to have a good seal, and it took a little practice to set in my ear with the correct size tip, but I can do it pretty quickly now.

Most of my listening is during running, walking and biking and they do not come close to falling out. Sound Quality – I’m not an audiophile, but I can tell you the sound quality for me is great! I listen to both audiobooks and music, and the dynamic range, treble and bass are all good.

Since they fit fairly flush with the ear I don’t have a problem with wind noise. Battery Life: I have used them for hours and have not run them out of battery yet. Of course, I pop them in the cradle after use and they get recharged each time.

Other – Nice heavy feel to the case/charge cradle, and they stay secure thanks to magnetic anchors. Cons: Honestly, this just my personal opinion, but I’m on the fence about how the volume controls and pause/play operate.

Since they are touch controls on the outer surface, you have to watch activating the controls if you adjust the placement of the earbud. One tap on the left is volume down, right is up. Two taps is the play/pause.

The majority of the time I listen to audiobooks, and use the pause/play feature the most, where I normally don’t need to adjust the volume. So, getting used to tapping the earbud twice at the correct pace to play/pause takes a little practice, otherwise you just end up adjusting the volume.

Last thing, the previous generation of this model (The one that had actual little buttons) had a ‘transparency mode’ that you could activate to hear people around you when they talked, and as far as I can tell, this model doesn’t have that feature, which would be nice to have.

I purchased a replacement pair of headphones after a year of use of my old ones (dog destroyed one of those or I would still be using them). However, after about two days of use of the new ones, the speaker went bad in the right earbud.

This wouldn’t be a huge deal if I could get some form of customer support to respond to me and replace the headphone, but so far it seems like my messages are just being sent into a void where no one is responding to me to even confirm that my message was sent in the first place.

The headphones are a great product otherwise, but I’m pretty disappointed with the customer service experience so far. Update: Customer service did reach out to me and offered some troubleshooting tips that seemed to fix what turned out to be a software issue.

For anyone that has a similar issue, it could be that the set of headphones has unpaired from one another and is trying to connect to multiple devices at once (For me, I think it was trying to connect simultaneously to my phone and desktop computer).

This can be fixed by making sure that only one of your paired devices has its Bluetooth turned on at a time while the headphones are trying to connect. If the problem occurs, I needed to make sure all of my Bluetooth-capable devices were turned off, then completely shut off the headphones by hand.

Once that was done, I had to reset each ear bud by holding their power button for 10 seconds until a pink/purple light flashed from the same spot as the normal LED. They then spend 5 mins in the charging dock, get taken out to pair with each other, and then can be connected to the Bluetooth-capable devices.

Effectively this is the factory reset process. It isn’t especially difficult, and the quality of the headphones is well worth overcoming this initial technical glitch. To address my earlier concern about the customer assistance, the wait for a response was not egregiously long, especially at this time of year.

The main concern for me is that the system does not send a confirmation email to say that your question has been received. If that one problem can be addressed, I think that the product and system is excellent!.

Had the new Gen 2 touch activated earbuds for about a month now and they are wonderful in every way. Lost my Klipsch earbuds that I really liked but the sound of the Mifos are even better, lighter weight and stay in my ears better.

These things stay put even when active, unlike the Klipsch and my Jabras. They have a great fit and again super light weight. I also have a pair of Jabra Elite 85t with noise cancellation but to be honest, with the way the Mifos fit my ears, they don’t need noise cancellation because it is exceptional as is.

Could barely hear a basketball bounce with them in and the sound or a Harley Davidson motor was significantly muffled standing right next to it. Really not much different from the Jabras with the noise cancellation on.

Save the extra battery juice required for the noise cancellation. Bass is great and even though there is no app to change settings as the Jabra’s have, the settings are dialed in perfectly for a wide genre of music, especially with what I listen to most.

Batter life is great. Case is beautiful. Fit and weight are much better than the others mentioned. They are great as is but if I had to pick something negative it would be that there is no wireless charging.

My Jabra’s have this and it is nice but it certainly would not be a deal breaker for me with everything else these earbuds do exceptionally well and for the price point. The Jabra app is nice, but once I used it a few times, I’ve found I really don’t go back to it much.

As for my opinion and experience, you can buy these with confidence that they will meet or exceed your expectations. Well done Mifo!.

In all honesty, despite decent sound quality when you finally manage to connect these, these are on par with any other $5 Bluetooth headphones from the dollar store. Its should be illegal to sell these for $100 let alone advertise all the bogus features it has like “noise cancelation” which is doesn’t actually have.

The amount of problems these things have for the price tag is ridiculous. Despite no damage or misuse, one earpod will always disconnect or refuse to pair, or somehow pair as a separate device seperate from the other earpod (how is that even a thing), headphones always making random annoying noises every few minutes while in use despite full battery, audio randomly cuts off all the time and resumes, charging these things can be a nightmare with the cheap USB port on the case which doesn’t grab the charger at all, you literally have to rest the case against something at an angle while its plugged in or the charger will easily fall out of the charging port.

On top of this, most of time it will charge for only like 30 seconds when plugged in then stop charging unless you unplug it and plug it back in (really like how?) Oh and the most annoying thing, anytime you plug these these things in to charge, you literally have to jump start the headphones to get them to turn on again.

By this, I mean that anytime you plug them in to charge, you cannot reconnect to them via Bluetooth unless the USB charger is plugged in while you’re pairing them despite them having full charge already.

If you charge them, take the charger out, then try to pair, the headphones will not even turn on when you open the case unless the charger is plugged in, even if you clearly just charged it to 100%. These things legitimately have a mind and personality of their own.

Somedays they can be semi-normal, other days they will cycle through every problem i just mentioned. Yes, this happened all straight out of the box. JBL, your company should be ashamed to be selling such garbage, ill never buy a product from this mediocre company again.

I knew I should’ve taken the same amount of money and just bought apple earpods instead which would have actually worked like regular Bluetooth headphones and lasted years, unlike this garbage. These things are good for if you feel like solving a puzzle everytime you want to listen to music, bc thats what these will feel like.

Funniest part is everything I said has been said by others in reviews prior to me buying these. I wish I read reviews on these before buying. How these have over two stars for reviews is proof that these childish companies fake their reviews instead of making solid products.

Big L, on this product and your company image JBL, ill personally never waste a single calorie of energy even making eye contact with a jbl product ever again. As soon as I buy actual functioning Bluetooth headphones I’m going to stomp on these until I feel like I got a $100 workout from a personal fitness trainer so I can atleast feel like I got some moneys worth out of it.

If sound quality is your primary concern when shopping for portable audio, then look no further than these JBL Tune 230NC TWS earbuds. As expected with JBL, the sound quality is superb — full, clear and well balanced with crisp highs, natural mids and proportional bass at all volume levels.

There’s also no artificial “hyper” bass like some brands use to fake a big sound at the expense of true sound quality. Even better, use the companion JBL app to create a custom EQ profile that totally suits your listening preference! Added noise canceling really makes a difference in creating a pristine listening experience.

When activated, my surroundings virtually disappear allowing me to more deeply experience my favorite music in minute detail. I find noise canceling is most effective at canceling steady droning sounds, like fans and engine noises.

For times when sound isolation is not desired or would compromise safety, I can change modes to “Ambient Aware” and the earbuds will actively blend the environmental sound with my audio allowing me to stay connected with my surroundings.

I find this useful for outdoor exercise or public shopping where ambient awareness is necessary for safety and courtesy. I found the pre-installed medium sized tips to be just right for my comfort and I have worn them for many hours at a time with no fatigue.

They are surprisingly comfortable and stay in my ears better than other stem-type earbuds I have tried. Additional tip sizes are included for adaptation to different ear anatomy. Incoming phone call audio quality is excellent, but as with many similar type earbuds, the experience for the caller is somewhat compromised by the marginal quality of the microphone technology.

People I call tell me that the outgoing audio is clear, but they can also tell I am calling through earbuds and the sound is a bit “off”. One minor downside I have found is the controls are a bit difficult to navigate (-1 star) as there is a single active “tap” point on each bud that accepts single-tap, double-tap, triple-tap and long-tap gestures, each invoking a different command, and the other bud accepting the same gestures invoking yet another set of commands.

I find I am very often missing the right number of taps or getting confused and tapping the wrong bud. This can be alleviated to some degree by the companion app which allows some customization of the gestures to suit your preferences.

The printed “Getting Started” guide that documents the tap gestures is painfully small and difficult to decipher. I would rather see the command interface simplified with additional tap or squeeze points, such as on the stems, to not overload so many commands onto a single tap spot per bud.

As stated, sound quality is where these earbuds shine, and overall, I’m thrilled with my new JBL Tune 230NC noise cancelling earbuds and find my music enjoyment has been taken to a new level. Highly recommended!.

These earbuds provide very clear and pure sound, and are loud enough as well. Battery lasts much longer than I can listen to music continuously, and the case holds for 3 full recharges. They fit firmly and comfortably, never had problems with them falling off while walking or cycling.

They do not stick out of the ear too much and do not make me look funny. Touch controls work nicely, after you get used with the exact place of the touch sensors. Bluetooth connection is stable and without interruptions.

The tap combos are a bit of a weird solution for controls, but they do a fine job after you memorize them. I miss a strap and a small hook for the case – I’d like to strap the case to my keychain or be able to carry it in my hand without having to be all-careful about not dropping it.

Some people say active noise canceling is not as good for a high class product like these earbuds, but I found it to be perfectly fine. The ambient aware feature is a very good idea. Sometimes the noise canceling can make you miss important details of your surroundings, but the ambient aware feature makes this problem non-existent.

Hands free calls are fine, I haven’t had any complaints about people not hearing me clearly. The app is a bit annoying, popping up, asking to connect every time I start using the earbuds. This must be an automatic and background process, not bothering the user with unnecessary interactions after the initial setup.

I’m thinking of uninstalling it. A codec better than AAC would be very nice, aptX or LDAC for example, although few people would notice the difference in sound quality. Anyway, such good hardware can easily handle and benefit from codecs more advanced than SBC and AAC and it’s a shame they are not supported.

Overall, these earbuds are excellent, the case and app need one or two finishing touches. Don’t forget to set the streaming app to high quality sound to fully enjoy your 100 wisely spent dollars.

While not what I had hoped for, these are still quality earbuds. I own a pair of the fitness buds, and I’d say the sound quality is slightly better. Although the controls on the fitness buds seem a bit more intuitive, these are still great! The main reason I purchased these was because I was looking for an alternative bit of hearing tech for pc gaming.

Given the good experience with my other buds, I figured I’d give these a try. In terms of contextual comparison, I wear Wireless Logitech G935s when gaming; and the testing programs were Halo Infinite, Fortnite, and Discord.

When using on Halo, the earbuds could not function on the better of the two available options in Windows (Stereo, over “hands-free AG”). The stereo would cut out once getting past the main menu: leaving me with a bass heavy, dull-sounding environment when switching sound profiles in Windows.

On Fortnite, the Stereo lasted a bit longer, though choppy with some semblance of directional hearing, and not perfect, it was functional. Discord gave no problems and came through relatively clearly.

However, the buds could not seem to process more than one source of sound. Granted, at the core of all of this, I probably expected too much capability out of a set of earbuds, especially trying to compare them to a full-on gaming headset.

But I had hope since the model is termed “The Gaming Earbuds”. That being the case, I can only conclude that these are meant more exclusively for mobile gaming. If that is the case, then these most certainly fit the bill.

So I’m not gonna leave a poor rating based on my specific expectations for earbuds comparable to a headset when they aren’t meant for that. Also, the purple is freakin’ awesome. Sooooo. still keeping them.

If Raycon releases a set of Earbuds or headphones comparable to Logitech for my purposes, then I’ll be lining up to buy a set to replace mine immediately (preferably in purple again). Until then, just be aware that if you’re looking for a set for anything more than mobile gaming, you probably will be disappointed.

When within the bounds of proper intended use, these are certainly excellent tech while also looking absolutely gorgeous.

These headphones may be the best in ear headphones I think I’ve ever owned. The headphone build quality looks and feels great, well above average I’d say. The fact that they come with 5 different size earpieces means that I can select the exact size I need for my ear, which never seems to happen with other headphones I’ve had in the past.

These headphones do not loosen up in my ear, they do not get uncomfortable after hours of use, they’re really good. The sound quality is great, and I appreciate that you can control the volume from either headphone (in case you just have one in at the time).

When you adjust the volume, it is great to be able to pick an exact volume via the headphones, instead of like with other headphones I’ve had where the adjustment on the headphones is too much up or down, so you need to get your phone and do it from there.

I have yet to actually drain the battery on the headphones too, so I can’t say if they actually last for the time they’re rated for, that said, I’ve used them for 5 hours at one point and they never died on me.

The charging pod/case also works and looks great. These headphones also pair to my phone faster than any others I’ve used, plus it’s pretty cool to hear the audible “Raycon” when they power up, it reminds me of the old Sega startup Startup sound.

Overall, I’d say these are a great pair of headphones, there’s a good chance I’ll be sticking with this brand for a while now too.

I recently purchased the Gaming Earbuds as an alternative to my full gaming headset, as to give my ears and hair a break from a full clunky model. Also, to wonder around the streets like a cool kid and listen to music.

Overall, it was worth the purchase. The sound quality is excellent, and admittedly not as vibrant as full chonky pro headsets, it sounds beautiful when immersion isn’t 100% critical to your experience (and even then, the noise canceling and quality is very immersive).

My main concern going into the purchase was related to possible latency issues while gaming, as I sometime rely heavily on sound as a key indicator. In all modes, the latency was non-existent; this was true for both my PC and my PS4 (after purchasing a Bluetooth receiver).

The only “problem” I experienced was with the battery. The initial advert for the earbuds claim a 31 hour life, but this is while not in use. The active life for the earbuds is around 7 hours. While much shorter than 31 hours, it’s a standard life and probably a good time to be reminded to take them out and do something else anyway.

Wish I could love this headset, and I tried for over two years to like them, but honestly I am still quite disappointed. When I purchased them it was for around $170 which I realize is much more than the current price.

First the good, the headphones sound above average, fit well, and have a fair amount of bass especially if you use the jabra elite app equalizer to add more bass. However, the case is deeply unsatisfying and holds a subpar charge.

The earbuds are even worse and last for no longer than 2-3 hours even though they claim 5 hours minimum battery life. Additionally, if they are placed in the case at even slightly the wrong angle, they will not charge, and the next time you go to use your headphones they will be dead.

This happens to me frequently, sometimes even after they are placed perfectly in the case, leading me to believe that shaking in my pockets causes the prongs to lose connection, which is completely unacceptable.

Additionally, these headphones usually take well over a minute to actually start playing sound back from my device. They will say they are “connected” but won’t actually play any sounds for over a full minute.

Finally, if the volume is turned above 3/4 strength, there is a very clear, and very annoying, “hissing” that can be heard. Overall I do not recommend this product and am searching for a quality replacement.

I thoroughly researched wireless headphones and was stoked to get these Jabra headphones on sale. However. Unfortunately right from the beginning the in-ear fit has been pretty poor, particularly in my right ear.

No matter which size bud I use, or how many time I rotate the bud to lock in my ear, it undoubtedly slips out. Particularly frustrating is when you are running in the dark practically keeping your hand at the ready to catch the bud before it bounces away into the dark.

And might I add the music stops every time the right bud slips out (I’m sure there’s a way to fix this in the settings but I haven’t had enough of a satisfying experience with these to bother). The sound quality is good enough for me.

Personally I find the design pretty bulky and am surprised that they dont fall out of everyone’s ears, being so heavy on the outside. Best Buy does not accept returns on head phones which is very disappointing and inflexible seeing as you cant try them before buying.

If you’re thinking about buying these for yourself, consider if you ever have difficulty with ear bud fits and maybe reconsider.

I was looking for a pair of wireless earbuds that I could use for work or for execercise. they are just what I was looking for. I dont even notice that they do not hve noise cancelling. the sound quality is fantastic.

my only complaint is the case quality. the earbuds do not “click” into their slot. and to open the case you need to put pressure on the plastic. I don’t see this lasting which at some point will make the earbuds useless.

the sound quality from the earbuds is fantastic I have a pair of JBLs that sound like everything is in a tunnel. these buds though sound like I am “right there” with whatever I am listening to. for phone calls I have been told the microphone is clear.

though I have been told the mics are extremly sensitive (I have been told that callers have heard some intense background noise when I was peeling potatoes. #multitasking. ). I would also add the battery life has not been a problem for me.

comfort wise I almost dont know they are in my ear after a while I was concerned that they would be uncomfortable for me as most in ear buds are. but their eargels seem to be designed well.

The sound quality is amazing, which is to be expected from KEF. Easy to get the hang of the features used with the buttons on the earbuds themselves, track changes, pausing, volume up and down, all easy to do without pulling out your phone.

My only complaint is that they could get a little louder, but that’s probably just my old ears looking for some extra help. I know they are programmed to a certain max volume level to protect our hearing but I wish they could get about 10% louder to really rock out.

But at almost all volumes these units are deep and rich with a big sound space around your head. Really fun to listen to, just like their home theatre speakers!.

I own KEF loudspeakers and cans. I thought I would take advantage of a promotional price on the Mu3’s. I am very happy that I did. The sound is pure KEF, balanced and smooth. I use with a Mac and an iPad Pro and the AAC codec sound shines through.

Sound good with the Pixel 6 as well. The feature list is short but the sound is glorious.

I purchased these on the KEF name alone as I’m a BIG fan of there Home Speakers. MAKE SURE you wear them in your ears properly (lying Horizontally) AND you are using the right sized Earbud or they will sound very tinny.

Larger is better than too small. Good sound and comfortable once those (2) simple things are complete !.

I’ve been using the Edifier X3 True Wireless Earbuds for about 19 days. I got them for about Rs. 1,900 at The Audio Store. The earbuds are quite compact, plain looking, as in nothing too flashy. But build quality is much more important.

No complaints here. The audio quality of the Edifier X3 is quite good, I also have the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z and that neckband punches way over its weight. So, while the volume and clarity are nowhere near to the Bullets’, the Edifier X3 does a fine job for a pair of TWS buds.

In comparison, I’ve also used the Boat AirDopes 441, which in my opinion had a great design, but absolutely terrible audio quality. The battery life of the earbuds is okay. Use it with the charging case, and you won’t have an issue with the battery life.

Speaking of the charging case, there is a single LED on it right in the middle of the front panel. The light goes off when the case is charged, that’s not exactly ideal. There’s absolutely no way to tell how much juice is left in the earbuds, simply by looking at the case.

This isn’t a deal breaker since the device that you’re connected to will display the battery percentage. Note: I did not use the earbuds for calls, I bought it for my music needs, and it does a fine job.

Pros: Good build quality. Good audio quality. I think this depends on the device you’re using it with. I found the earbuds were a lot louder when connected to my laptop, but weren’t nearly loud enough even at max volume with my phone.

Good range, I could use the earbuds 15-20 feet away from my laptop, the range with my phone was somewhat poorer, though I think that was the mobile antenna’s fault. Magnetic charging case Decent battery life (good with the charging case).

Easy to pair Cons: The charging box could have been better. I’d have preferred better LED indicators for the charging. I ordered the earbuds on January 21st, it was shipped the next day and reached me on the 23rd via Bluedart.

The delivery experience and the packaging were good. I don’t think you will find a better pair of TWS earbuds in the 2K range. Go for it.

I love these!! I am not an expert on this for sure! I use these for traveling mostly to watch movies and for walking. Ive never had earbuds before so its taking me awhile to get used to the fit and having them in my ears.

The arm on the bud helps me to adjust them correctly there are different size buds and arms to find the correct size for you. I find the sound works perfect for me and the controls are easy to work. Just tap for the power, volume etc.

I like that they connect to your device automatically as soon as you open the case.

Audio quality is very decent. You will not disappoint. I will recommend to anyone who is looking for budget TWS with decent batter backup and call quality.

The PI7s are premium In-Ear Headphones for audiophiles with features such as audio retransmission via the case and 24-bit aptX technology for high resolution audio and deep room filled lows, rich mids, and clear highs.

Though the low and mid range are full and very prominent, the headphones still achieve great clarity and provide ultra fantastic range. Depending on your music choice, the low end may overpower the track slightly but I think most people would like Bowers & Wilkins out of the box uneditable EQ.

The wireless charging case has a unique audio retransmission feature where you can use the including USB C to 3. 5mm to pipe stereo analog audio over Bluetooth via aptX. This lets you take any device with 3.

5mm out and make it instantly wirelessly stream low latency, high quality audio to the headphones! Unfortunately my biggest gripe is NOT reading the manual from the website and to understand how to navigate the must have B&W app and it’s Bluetooth settings to get a full understanding of its features.

So I experienced a few connection issues, unfamiliar with several features like touch controls, call control, voice assistant, and noise cancelation settings / operations. I feel that the noise cancellation works well ( once I understood the operational details/ settings) and even offers a passthrough mode that can be adjusted to your liking.

With a clear understanding provided that you go to the website or contact B&W technical support, the PI7 is a fantastic set of In-Ear headphones for those looking for a better audio experience $$$.

The Good Sound quality was very nice with these headphones. The highs and mids are clear with the lows being okay during my listening. There were a few times where it felt like I was listening to artists for the first time again.

They were a good balance between being warm and crisp. They work well for casually listening to music indoors, which is how I tested them. The ambient soundscapes were nice to listen to when I wanted to just sit down and zone out.

The Bad Like many people have said around the web, the app is not good and for the price of the headphones it should have been much better than it was. Out of the box they were a pain to connect to my phone and show up in the app.

After about an hour of trying to get them to connect I figured out to connect them just to my phone first, then to connect them through the app. From there it was smooth sailing till day 2 with them.

This started with them having a faint crackling sound in both of the earbuds that left a shocking sensation in my ear. I tried disconnecting them, putting the volume at 50%, and finally let the batteries die which resolved the issue.

After that I couldn’t replicate it on either of my phones. Final Notes While the headphones themselves are good, connecting them to the app on my phones everyday was a pain to do. Like some people have mentioned, there was some ear fatigue after wearing them for about 3 and a half hours.

Any longer than that and I had to give my ears an hour break in-between longer listening sessions. The touch controls were alright to use if a little tricky at first. I didn’t buy these for the active noise cancelling, but if that’s what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t recommend these.

Even with noise canceling all the way up, I could still hear things going on around me. It did muffle the noise, but I could still make out the words of my family members in the same room. After using them almost a week I finally decided to return because of the connectivity problems they gave me.

They are great headphones, but I couldn’t deal with them cutting in and out every now and then, and the app was way more trouble than the headphones were worth. That’s not to say they aren’t good, they just didn’t do it fore me.

I am a longstanding Bluetooth user with in-ear headphones. I first used the various Shure devices with Bluetooth adapters, then the Shure Bluetooth adapter and finally the TW1. this is just information as a foundation to my review of the PI7.

Bowers and Wilkins has been on my radar for some time as I also own the PX. Finally, I pulled the trigger on the PI7. There were on sale for $298 The sound is far superior to the Shure TW1 (with SE425).

this is my comparison as the Shure devices combined were $189 +$299. The Shure TW2 with SE215 is now about $239 but the sound quality is not as good as the PI7. Yes, I have the SE215 as well. The PI7 has better noise isolation.

active canceling. There is no leakage. The room just disappears. The sound is three dimensional in my head. Listening to Ray of Light (Madonna) gives a good range of music as that song has so much production, one can hear it all.

I was debating whether or not to hold out for the next version as the battery power might be better but bought it anyway. Not sure if I would have bought them for $399, but for $298, yes. Also note the case acts as a Bluetooth transmitter.

The volume needs to be pushed up a bit, but it still transmits. Good for flights. I already used one of these, but the combination means one less thing to carry.

Sony have asked me to review these while they are looking over my pair that I’ve had for a little over 6 months which are currently having an issue with low volume in one of the earbuds. I’d include a few pictures but I’ve not seen my earphones for a few weeks now and am told there is a delay in getting my earphones fixed.

The build quality is okay but not great for the price, I think the overall build could be better really. They are quite plasticky which makes them light but they feel as if they could be broken quite easily too sadly.

A massive pro though is the fit and in particular the foam ear tips. Together, they are very comfortable and create a good, passive seal. I can happily wear these for extended periods without any issues really.

As for sound quality, I am happy overall. For the money you can definitely get better but I think you are paying for the compact, wireless design and features like ANC and ambient sound which in loud environments can make listening to audio through these much easier.

I think it is worth mentioning that these come with LDAC which I have found to massively improve audio quality when connected to my phone – it seems to have pretty good latency too. I would say these are detailed enough and can have an EQ applied using the Sony app to better tailor them to your taste but these ultimately feel like they offer good enough clarity across the board but lack in sound stage, especially when compared to even some budget IEMs.

I feel like the ANC and ambient sound deserve a bit of attention on their own. They are definitely an improvement over the previous model and I would say I prefer them to what some of the competitors offer.

The ANC is quite subtle for me, I feel as though I get most of the benefit passively with how good the fit and the ear tips are anyway. The ANC definitely drowns out some background noise but not all in certain settings, it preforms best with low noises like the hum of an engine but leaves a bit to be desired even what cranked all the way up.

The ambient noise mode is the stand out feature for me – extremely clear and can be adjusted to let more or less outside noise in. Very handy to just use the passive noise isolation and then let some noise in this way and compared to the competition the noise that is let in sounds less artificial to me.

Overall I think these are great but then you really expect that for the price they go for. I’ve tried a few flagship wireless earphones now and settled on these as my favourites. I can definitely recommend them assuming money is no object as I do think they are a bit expensive for what they are and I am a bit concerned about their longevity due to the build quality.

The sort of person that will enjoy these will want good audio quality but also want a convenient design with a solid feature set and likely, they are a jack of all trades and do many things well but don’t really master much overall.

I bought these after having a pair of the over-the-ear WH1000XM2 and was initially a little disappointed because of the leakage. The buds really do need to fit well, which requires rotating the body over towards the back after inserting them.

They sounded a little flat at first and I opted for a slightly brighter preset, which sounded great at first but were a little fatiguing so I went back to the flat setting and they sound much more natural.

They may have needed a little burning in. The app has some features that I have dabbled with, such as sensing your activity but it isn’t so good for activities such as cycling because it constantly switches modes when not peddling.

There is a useful wind noise reduction setting because these really do pick up wind noise when walking fast, running or cycling. The best feature is the focus on voice feature, which for me is a blessing.

My autism makes some venues and surroundings quite distressing but the focus on voice feature allows me to communicate a little better in most environments and I can activate it by talking. They are also far less conspicuous than the over-the-ear versions.

They are different though and present the music differently but these are far better for outdoors and traveling in terms of convenience. It is also handy that the case acts as a battery and tops up the charge on the earphones and the app will tell you the charge of each bud and the case.

When inserting them the battery level for each bud is spoken. The control features aren’t quite as good as the bigger ones because there is no room to have swipe gestures. There are only up to three taps and a long press, and you have to choose a preset for each bud, which means I can no longer change the volume as I use the skip control instead.

I tried the Google assistant but couldn’t get it to work and the auto backup setting doesn’t seem to work either but I’m not keen on these features anyway. For me the fidelity and convenience are far more important and now I can take my music to many more places and while doing other things.

Before my journey with these, I’d mainly use my Focal headphones at my desktop PC or my Campfire Audio IEMs when not at my desk, but with being driven crazy after all this time WFH and makeshift + shared office space, I knew I needed a TWS headphone w/ ANC.

Fortunately for me, when I’d finally decided I was going to buy a pair, this model had debuted and I went in store and bought it at day 1 MSRP. It was and still is apparent that its technical capabilities, sound signature and other ‘audiophile’-relevant attributes fall just a bit short of my regularly driven headphones on these many fronts.

But, I realized given how much convenience was provided to me. at $280, and at what is effectively minor losses on these various aspects, I was elated with my initial trial period. After several months, I’m still very happy with them, especially since how sublime its UX has been – seamlessly switching ANC to Ambient noise profiles, and simple, yet surprisingly robust Android companion application.

The only issue is their terrible mic’s call quality for voice on any platform, on any device. I’m clueless on how their ambient sound is even any good. I just make sure I’m at my desktop for any actual significant work meetings.

As far as sound quality itself, I feel like there is definitely unit variation because I feel that my unit has been more balanced than headphones’ YT or crinacle’s written reviews have made it out to be, but for the rest of its attributes, I find that their described characteristics during their reviews have been quite spot on.

The only thing is, from a view-point of these IEMs as an audiophile lifestyle product, they have been incredible. At this point, I even use them more than my actual ‘audiophile’ headphones, but I’d probably blame my work life balance for that, however, for any of my own friends & family, I’d say they are far more than good enough.

I wish I could include an actual TWS comparison, especially since I also recently just acquired the acclaimed AKG N400 on sale for an insane $48. But I haven’t gotten around to even opening them and I want my 25 BB reward pts now.

Just paid 9 for this and didn’t expect much. I’ve lost earbuds on buses before when they’ve fallen out and disappeared under all the feet. Sound quality is quite basey so adjust in the phone settings.

Get a good seal in your ears and the sound quality is more than acceptable.

I was very pleased with them the sound is fantastic so comfortable and the price for them is excellent. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. 10 out of 10 .

Can not fault the sound however the charging pod does not keep charge and discharges really quickly. Each earpod only plays on full volume for less than 2hrs before needing to be charged by the case itself ,a little disappointing from new ear phones bragging a 5 hr battery life.

I have 2 sets of these to compare with, both bought new and can confirm through tests that they both last the same time more or less /sound is amazing for the size however in light of the battery life on actual usage I feel most strongly that they are not worth the money ( Lenovo LP 1 )do beat these earbuds hands down on battery and stability and are my personal budget earphone of choice costing about the same price /they handle all low frequencies with ease and the highs are crisp and bright.

A must for Drum n bass through to classical alike.

This is a review based on a few days of using the earbuds. Also, the music streaming service I use is ***. the HiFi subscription. I mention this because the music streaming quality may vary. 1. Pairing the earbuds with my Samsung S22 plus was extremely easy.

The earbuds were paired in a very few seconds. 2. The music I streamed sounded great. As mentioned above, the quality may vary depending on the service you use. Whether Listening to old albums or new ones, the sound was excellent.

Stereo separation was outstanding. Keep in mind that personal preferences regarding sound most certainly play a part. I’m not a fan of jacked-up booming bass. These earbuds do not jack up the bass. For my taste, the balance of highs and lows was excellent.

3. Phone calls-there were no issues at all. The voices were clear on both ends of the call. I know that because I asked the other party if there were any problems. Overall, I’d recommend these earbuds without a doubt to my family members and friends.

I’ve worked as a musician for many years and sound quality is very important to me. If I were buying a sound system for a music room I’d spend whatever it in order to get top-notch sound. Regarding earbuds, well, I use them while walking or running or while I’m on the bus.

Spending $200 never made sense to me. As mentioned, in a home music room spending whatever you can afford may make sense for some people. These earbuds are more than satisfactory. They are excellent, and, they don’t cost $200 or even $100.

I highly recommend these earbuds for those who are looking for great sound data NOT rip-off price. If over the next few few days my experience with the earbuds changes I will edit this review. (Reviewed on August 24, 2022).

I have been using the Sound Liberty 94 buds for the last couple years. I use them in a noisy gym environment. Over the past several years I have used a number of wired ANC units. When I decided to upgrade to wireless buds, I reviewed the specs of several units to include the expensive 200-300 dollar units.

I decided to purchase the Sound Liberty buds due to specs and price. I don’t believe you can find a better ANC bud for the price. The bud controls are easy to use and the ANC sound is great especially when used in noisy backgrounds.

In addition, customer support has provided quick responses to any questions I have. If you are looking for an inexpensive bud with great ANC sound, I highly recommend the Sound Liberty buds.

Great quality pair of wireless headphones with fantastic customer service to back it. The active noise cancellation is great for outdoors or indoors; I’d leave it off if you’re out during a night walk to be aware of your surroundings.

The sound quality is nice, too; on par with $80 pairs and nothing in this price range comes close. I especially like the in ear detection. One problem I have with it is I don’t know how I’m supposed to activate it without having the case with me.

I’ve been told that it can be difficult to hear me when outside in heavy rain. I think that might be expected, though. On the customer service aspect: Sicily was especially helpful for guiding me through making a return on a different product I ordered on accident and was patient and kind during the process.

Their response time is quick and engaged, I truly have to commend the whole team. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them if I have any issues.
