I bought these for my grandkids to dive for in their pool. After opening them, I’m concerned that the tails are very pointed and rigid and they could pierce the pool liner. I wouldn’t feel comfortable even letting small children play with them.

I like this Aspen litter a lot. I used it in my snake tanks. The only thing I didn’t like was when you use it as a main substrate it soaks up all moisture. That means you have a hard time keeping the humidity up where it needs to be.

Snakes need humidity to live and shed.

I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for this bedding. My pet store used to sell it and I couldn’t remember what it was called and lo and behold chewy sells it! My corn snake LOVES this bedding, he loves to burrow and this is just perfect for that, other bedding holds it’s shape after he burrows and it gets all bunched up but this stuff goes right back where it was, I love seeing his little head pop out! Love love love it! Only complaint is that I bought a tree limb for his cage as well and it punctured the bedding in shipping, no biggie though.

Very nice quality, lower in dust than other products and always bright in color and fresh smelling. The chip size is great for trapping snake waste, and they seem to enjoy tunneling through it. Keeps the cage dry and clean.

The largest bag size is perfect for filling larger enclosures.

My granddaughter likes Robo Lizard.

We have a handsome Irish Wolfhound puppy who likes to chew and play tug (especially now while he’s teething) and he loves this toy! The squeaker is durable enough and big enough to stand up to his enthusiastic puppy play, he likes the texture of the rubber spines on the back and he LOVES the way the lizard crinkles when he picks it up and carries it around.

Sometimes it can cause an entertaining misunderstanding—the crinkling can sometimes sound like paper, and several times we’ve raced into the room because we thought he’d found some bit of receipt or other fun paper to shred and he’s only tossing his lizard around.

It’s pretty funny!.

Recently purchased our little guy “Corona” and he seems to enjoy it. Has just about all you need. Only few things this 20 gal could use is an extra thermometer for the hot or cold side since it only has one and its a bit hard to read.

Also had to purchase a night time light and fixture. The log we got in our tank is very nice large. Temperature gets plenty warm for Corona. Now to find the right size background so he stops thinking there’s another dragon in there with him.

Also don’t impulse buy in store we got our 20 gal tank in store for 200ish$ but on line its 50ish$ cheaper. Coulda got the 40 gal tank for what we paid for the smaller tank in store.

When our gecko is shredding she uses this often as she has a few more hide holes but this is value for your pet

I love these terrariums, bought two of them. They are beautiful and perfect for our birds. The instructions could have been printed better, but the video helped. They were packaged well enough, nothing was broken.

The only thing we desired, was most terrariums have a handle or knob on the door to grab. These have nothing to open the door. We used one of the suction cups, works well.

50/50 on this product: This hide is heavy and sturdy, so it does not slide around. It has a rough surface that feels like true rock, which is nice because it’s easy for a reptile to climb. However, the surface is difficult to wipe clean.

Supposedly it can go in the dishwasher, but. gross. However, it is much smaller than I expected. It’s not nearly tall enough to serve as a true basking platform for my bearded dragon (his light is mounted on top of the tank).

Ended up returning this item. The dimensions are online and accurately described, so this is not an issue with the product itself; just a heads-up for anyone considering this hide.

This thing must be made out of concrete, which I did not look at, so its surprisingly heavy. The down side to this is I was feeling it over and there was quite a few sharp bits that I had to file down(nail file worked fine).

Also it seems it would be hard to clean since it’s kinda porous. But fine overall for my snake. On the small/medium size for hides.

We received this product in exchange for our honest review. We have older red-eared sliders (16 years old) who can be very picky about their food. Some days the food dissolves and covers the bottom of their tank, others they eat like they haven’t been fed in forever.

There was no hesitation by these two to give the Wardley reptile sticks a try. My son commented that we may have found a new food for them that won’t go to waste!.

I use this hide for my leopard gecko. It works great and it’s very easy to clean. The quality of the product is nice, and I like the aesthetic look of it. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this in any reptiles enclosure.

I also use this hide for other small animals. I recommend this product to anyone meeting hides for reptiles or other small animals. The price is good for the quality of product.

It’s resin was low quality and has broken in a few places. Ball python still uses it but not a 5 star product or we just got a bad one. Cuddles gives 2 stars for it still being a hide and giving hime shade.

The hide was very rough on the inside and I had to sand down lots of small areas to make it smoother, so that my snake did not get any scales snagged and/or torn off as she moved around in it. If the outside can be manufactured to be smooth, surely the inside could be too? Other than this, the Cave was fine.

Love it! I will address everything by issue- Size – according to most gecko suggestions its a little small, however not really because the back is completely climbable unlike most vivariums. So while the volume is small, climbable area is high with grooves your gecko friend will love to “hide” in but still be visable.

Our gecko loves it – it also gives him the ability to control his temp by getting closer or further from the heat bulb. 2- Humidity- it is a tall tank and it comes with one thermometer and hydrometer.

For beginning I suggest getting an extra set so you can get used to the humidity / temp range for your gecko – place one set on the top and one on the bottom. Use removable glue dots – that way when you eventually have to change them out they don’t leave permanent glue on the glass.

The tree has little “bowls” built in that I use to fill up with water for humidity purposes and it works well but can also be used for food – although I find a dish more convinient. I spray through the front open (not the screen) each morning and night letting it dry out during the day and overnight.

This way you get to fill the bowls on the tree and have water on the glass. 3- Temp- once again, there will be a range from top to bottom – so I recc. two therm or digitals for beginners. I use a double lamp with 60 watt day and night bulbs (not basking) and get a great temp range b/c our gecko seems to like things a little warmer – but I get a range from just over 80 at the top to about 67 in the bottom in the winter.

Get the lamp stand – the screen is plastic bars that will melt if you leave the lamp on it. 4- We still use a separate ceramic flat dish for food. That way you don’t have to remove the ornament tree to clean it out and its wide enough to see feet prints to know you gecko is eating.

The bowls on the tree we use for water. 5- The tree is hollow with a large hole in the back for your gecko to hide during the day – but since the vivarium is front open it is extremely easy to open it and turn the tree around for viewing – just make sure you don’t squish your little guy when you put it back down if he starts hanging out of the bottom.

He climbs the tree and background all night! Like any pet – it takes some care but this kit is really awesome and the logistics work well for 24-7 viewing of your gecko especially for begininners / younger keepers.

This is an awesome tank for a Crested Gecko but in my honest opinion, ONLY IF YOU HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT TO EXPECT. First- the tank itself is the typical Exo-terra 2 door tank so I won’t review all of the obvious details since you can find that on Exo-Terra website; I will review the “special edition” accessories.

The statue/hide looks incredible and it truly is an awesome display/functional piece. That’s the positive but to me there’s a few HUGE negatives- the built in food tray won’t even fit the smaller 1/2 oz disposable cups! That’s huge since if you feed repashy/pangea mix like 100% of Crested Gecko owners due, then you have no choice but to pour the mix into the built in food holder.

What’s the issue with that? THIS MEANS YOU WILL HAVE TO LITERALLY REMOVE THE STATUE EVERY TWO DAYS TO SCRUB IT DOWN/CLEAN IT INSTEAD OF SIMPLY PULLING OUT A DISPOSABLE CUP AND TOSSING IT IN THE GARBAGE CAN AFTER REPLACING! Positive as I said are the cool details in the mayan design but the negative is since it is also a hide and takes up a HUGE amount of the space in the tank- YOU WILL HAVE AN INCREDIBLY HARD TIME ATTEMPTING TO GRAB YOUR GECKO AND REMOVE HIM TO HOLD HIM.

HE WILL RUN INTO THE BACK OF IT HIDING AND THERE ISN’T ENOUGH ROOM TO PUT YOUR HAND IN TO REACH DUE TO IT’S SIZE! Now that i’ve pointed out the major negatives I will say- Do I regret the purchase? NO, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

Why would i be happy after stating the above- because I have modified everything for my needs an it works out perfect (for my situation). I’ve turned it into a live vivarium and plan to post a youtube video with all the details/process and updates.

It will house one gecko perfectly but NO MORE THAN ONE- you would need a larger 18x18x24 sized tank. Hope this helps.

This was a good overall starter setup for my young Crested Geckos. So far I have enjoyed all of the glass exo terra terrariums. The latching double doors was a good feature and the option to buy an additional lock is great to keep the little ones out.

Out of the box the kit did come with 90% of everything a starter kit would need, the terrarium, substraight, and a decorative piece with fake plant and hiding spots. This decorative piece is also listed as having space for water and food but only water is realistic due to the size of the built in bowls.

A small water bottle cap could fit in one of the holes but isnt fun getting in and out without spinning it. A separate food dish would still be needed. Conversion from starter kit to full out vivarium is also possible with this kit as long as you are willing to buy hydoballs, and hydroscreen seperate.

The included substrate works well with live plants and the kit includes enough to allow for live plants. Since buying two of these kits I have spent an additional $60 for hydroballs, hydroscreen, isopods, gecko ledges, and plants to make both bio-active vivariums, and my cresties love it.

Im sure I will eventually rust out the top screen cover due to humidity requirements for my geckos, but exo terra does have replacement options for the screens at a good price for when that time comes.

Overall very happy with this product and already planning purchasing the next two crested gecko kits.

I feel like I bore my lizard with the lack of selection when it comes to her food, especially since she typically turns her nose up at greens. She really seems to enjoy these little flowers though. I’ll definitely end up buying the larger bag size, so I can use these to make her greens more appealing to her.

I purchase this flower topper for my dwarf hamster habitats to encourage foraging. All of the flowers in the bag are safe for her to consume with no added ingredients! The flowers are always fragrant, have a variety of each one so you’re not stuck with a bunch of cornflowers, and my hamster Bebe is always so excited when she gets to play in an area with flowers.

Dragons could care less about it, even when moistened and mixed with their greens. On the other hand, my uromastyx seems to like it. Guinea pigs also really liked it.
