Works perfectly! We purchased this lite version to use in our 2019 Honda Odessey mini van. The power cord is long enough to reach the AC adapter in the front while the HDMI fire stick stays plugged into the back of the center console without any issue.

We hotspot our internet for the kids to stream on the go. No more buying BluRay/DVDs just for the kids to complain they are bored of watching them every time we travel. Even with the fire stick being close to floor level- the remote works fine from each seat in our vehicle.

I’ve included pictures of how it is setup in our van if anyone else is curious. It took about 15 min to setup and most of that was simply logging into our different apps. Only works with WiFi/Hotspot connection obviously.

Quick and easy set up. I bought this app I can access Beachbody on Demand (netflix of fitness) but I got more than I bargained for. The quality of YouTube videos really makes a difference! Also I would always screen mirror Disney+ movies from my phone but the images from the Fire stick is amazing! They have such a vast selection they even have my GO Victory app/channel that I would watch on my iPad.

Wow the upgrade I didn’t know I need and for such a great price. I almost returned it to but I didn’t know how much options I had. Well worth it! This is waaaaay better than Roku.

There was no mention this needs to be connected to a power supply. That’s no big deal as it’s easy enough to use an adaptor if you are short on plug space but it would have been useful information. Also whilst to a tech savvy bod this may be a doddle to set there was no mention of the rig ma role you have to go through to register the apps and also the allocation of an HDMI on your TV or SKY remote.

That saying I am a 71 year old un tech savvy lady and I honestly found it no more difficult to set up than any new tablet , desktop computer or mobile phone! It just takes a wee bit of time and patience but you soon get the hang of it all.

Also whilst there are lots of apps such as BT sports and Netflix, there was no mention that you do need to subscribe to these channels to view, they are NOT free! After all that I am sure we will get lots of use out of it.

My husband is pleased to be able to watch BT Sport on the TV instead of straining with his tablet and at the excellent price of the TSV I feel sure it will prove to be excellent value.

Do that really matter – no still gets you to the same place. Setup was simple but I had all the accounts and passwords ready before I started. Step by step was simple, the sound bar was different – I had to roll through a long list before I got to mine but that that worked perfectly.

I remember setting up that soundbay in my Xfinity remote looking at a small piece of paper folded more times than an origami flower and then still having to pick one of 5 available codes. I wish the 4 buttons at the bottom were programmable instead of fixed – maybe future software upgrade.

This version does require power and comes with an converter – I instead purchased the patch cable which allows it to pull power from a USB port (if you have one open). Much cleaner.

IšverstiShow in original languageI already have a firestick 4k that works great. I recently purchased the Recast which I absolutely love for OTA DVR and live TV features. The firesticks work great for that as it has an integrated guide and DVR library.

There are a few differences between the two 4k sticks. If you are asking yourself, should I buy a max of the regular 4k and is it any faster? Well to be honest, speed wise I can’t tell a difference between the two.

This one is compatible with Wifi 6 but not many including myself has a router with that compatibility. But it’s nice to know it’s there for the future. A few differences. For some reason I don’t get the video previews when browsing the live TV guide.

I’ve gone into the featured content and made sure they were on but still don’t get them. Yet I get them on the regular 4k stick. Hmm, a bug maybe. They work for other apps from the home screen and even work on recently watched TV shows.

Just not the inside the guide. When watching a live TV program and scrolling the guide, now all you have to do is hit the back button to go back to the show. On the original 4k you had to scroll back to the show were watching.

To get back to the guide you now have to click the backward button twice instead of once to get back to the guide or do I like I do and just hit the TV button which brings up the guide. With the max you now have the option to turn off HDR which is good if you have a TV like mine that does HDR badly.

Or you can still go adaptive. I turn it off. You’ll still get ultra HD, just not in HDR. I’m not sure if this is hard encoded in the hardware or software. Those are about the only differences I see. If you don’t have a recast I suggest just getting the original 4k and saving $10 bucks.

If you’re expecting it to be faster than the original 4k, It’s not. I just needed another one for my other TV.

I’ve been using android boxes throughout my home for several years now, since deciding to “cut the cable”. Recently, the android box in our bedroom decided to bite the dust. While shopping for a replacement, I came across the 4K Fire TV Stick and decided to give it a try.

Included in the box: – 4K Fire TV Stick – Power Adapter w/ USB-to-micro cable – HDMI Extender Cable (for best Wi-Fi reception) – Remote (Alexa Voice enabled) w/ 2 AAA batteries – Documents/Booklets (Quick Start guide, product info, warranty etc.

) The first thing I noticed once opening the package was it’s small size, slightly larger than a thumb drive and plugs directly into an available HDMI port. This eliminates the need of running another HDMI cable and frees up space on the TV stand, table, mantle or in our case the dresser.

Setup could not be any easier! Simply connect the Power Adapter to the 4K Fire TV Stick using the included USB Cable. Plug the 4K Fire TV Stick into an available HDMI port and the Power Adapter into a wall outlet.

Once powered, I was greeted with several easy to follow onscreen prompts to setup Wi-Fi, timezone, pair the remote to TV etc. and allow the Stick to update. Once the updates were complete, the Stick will reboot.

The entire process only took approx. 5 mins. Once initial setup was complete, I was brought to the main screen. The UI is very nicely laid out and easily navigated. There are several apps already listed such as Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ etc.

You can customize this layout by adding and/or removing apps of which may or may not be of interest to you. You can set a password and customize parental controls to block access to specific apps, ratings and purchases.

The 4K Fire TV Stick works perfectly! It is very responsive in navigation, opens apps quickly and streams video with no issues at all. I was initially concerned about Wi-Fi reception as our router is on a different level/floor in our home, but the 4K Fire TV Stick has no problem picking up my Wi-Fi and streams perfectly.

Great video quality and virtually no buffer! Much better than my previous android box. The remote is a perfect size and fits comfortably in hand. The selection of buttons are that of typical media players, Play/Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind, a circular navigation/select, Home, etc.

The 4K Fire TV Stick Remote also has the addition of Power On/Off, Volume UP/Down and Mute buttons, which allow us control over other devices such as TV, Receiver, Soundbar etc. This is a great feature, as it can eliminate the need for multiple remotes.

Then ofcourse, we have Alexa Voice. With a simple press(Hold) of the microphone button, you can easily launch apps, find and control movies and TV shows etc. all with your voice. Alexa can also give updates on time, weather, news etc.

the possibilities seem “almost” endless. I haven’t used this feature too much so far, but when I have it has worked perfectly. While there is lots of free content available on the 4K Fire TV Stick, I primarily use it for Prime Video, Netflix, etc.

Prime Video is a great service with tons of great movies and TV shows. best of all, its FREE for Amazon Prime members! In my opinion, the cost of Amazon Prime + 4K Fire TV Stick basically pays for itself due to the FREE Prime Video!.

I would not ever buy anything from this site again. This is a fraud, the product description says “New Fire TV Stick 4K with New Alexa Voice Remote Streamer” but when I received the package it was on a remote without the stick and did not even include batteries.

Before this product was shipped I suspected that it maybe only a remote, so I contacted the support for this site and asked the question that if this included the stick as well and here is their response : Thank you for contacting DailySale Customer Service.

I used the Firestick to view Netflix on a bedroom tv. I wanted to watch “The Crown-session 3” today on Netflix. I had watched the previously watched the first two sessions a couple of days ago. Today I searched with the Firestick on the bedroom tv, and “The Crown” wasnt even an option.

It didn’t come up in the search. What DID come up first on the list was “Becoming, which was a documentary about Michelle Obama. That clearly had nothing to do with “The Crown”! It was like it didn’t want me to watch “The Crown” and watch “Becoming”.

This is clearly an invasion of my privacy and censoring what I wanted to watch. A total violation of my First Amendment rights! I the went to my main tv which has a Roku to watch Netflix. I searched “The Crown” and there it was—the first on the list! I think the makers of Firestick are trying to censor what viewers are trying to watch.

Something in the Firestick search was totally trying to censor what I watch! It really upsets me! Scary!.

IšverstiShow in original languageWhen I watched the demo, I came away thinking you stuck the stick in the side and that was it. It turns out you need a wall plug as well. I don’t have a spare socket or one close enough so I would have to re-arrange my room just for this to work.

Internet help suggests plugging the stick into your TV USB port for the power instead but I don’t know how safe that would be as it’s not mentioned in the leaflet. I was also under the impression, 5 minutes to set it all up.

I read the instructions from the box and was confused. Again, searched online and watched a very good Amazon tutorial. There is a LOT of setting up involved. Connecting your wi-if, pairing the remote etc.

Even getting the remote to work isn’t just a case of sticking batteries in. From my search for help, it also appears this isn’t the latest model (max)? The presentation I watched made out this one wasn’t even available on Amazon yet and QVC had all the stock? It seemed too good to be true and it is going to take a lot of effort (room change) to use this.

I only wanted it for Apple TV and I can already view that on my iPad. It might have to go back unused at my expense. Maybe QVC could focus on set up in their sales pitch?.

My mom passed away 3 years ago and her 5 year old ( Freeview only )tv was to good throw out and has been in our spare room being used only a few times so I thought , great update it for £30.

On air presentation said plug in and go. I have an Amazon account but after 3 hours of trying i’d had enough. My daughter got it working after a couple of hours but I still cannot get any terrestrial TV (or QVC) and you have to have passwords for EVERYTHING.

At 70 i find this very confusing and will defo not be loading the two ‘free’ apps. Lee should really not make it sound so easy, he knows what hes doing and dosnt show you the actual set up which is the hardest part for a non tec oldie.

I will keep it as my grandchildren will enjoy watching the Pluto childrens chanel, but I will be watching my trusted 19″ Freeview only upstairs. I do have thousands of new chanells on moms TV but im wary of downloading or watching anything in case i have to pay.

On the plus side i can get BBC i player and ITV Hub but thats on my main tv with my tv package anyway. I suppose this is a great product for very savvy tec and telly addicts but for a 70 year old its way to much trouble.

I’ve never had an Amazon Fire Stick before. I’ve tried numerous Roku’s only to send them back because my purpose was to eventually cut cable so I wanted a clear QVC and HSN channel like it is through cable.

Roku’s was not good at all. It wasn’t even HD. When I saw this on a Bonus Buy which was a tremendous price and I saw that you could stream QVC/HSN through it I thought I’ll give this a try since it supports 4K and I have a 4K TV.

For me though the tipping point was that I saw a “Mad Men” icon on the screen when he was presenting it, which is my all time favorite show that I haven’t been able to watch or find anywhere. It was on the IMDB channel.

So when I set it up, which was super easy and tells you exactly what to do, I searched for Mad Men and much to my delight I can now watch every episode again! Also when I downloaded the QVC/HSN app you can watch live.

The picture isn’t quite what you get through cable but certainly better than Roku’s, so it’s a winner for me to have this even if I used it for nothing else!.

Firestick lite? I wouldn’t say so. This version of the fire stick has all the features of a regular firestick without Dolby quality sound, volume controls, and a power button. Pros It still has 1080p HD quality video, quad core processor and 802.

11 AC wifi connection. Quad core CPU 1. 7Ghz 1Gb DDR4 RAM 8 gig internal storage. A small portion is of it is used for the OS. So it more like 5 gig for applications. Its running the same Fire OS 7. 2.

2. 3 as the regular FIrestick. Dual band WiFi AC. Alexa voice remote. Cons (difference) whats new?- No IR remote control. What this means is:- No power control for TV, or other devices. – No volume buttons for TV.

This is what makes it Lite because you dont get the standard 2nd generation remote. – No Dolby vision- No Dolby Atmos sound. Has Dolby digital+ stream service button. Kind of like a hot key for all your streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu.

For the price point you won’t even miss the volume buttons. And for a person just getting into streaming devices this is the least expensive option compared to all the other devices on the market period.

If you’ve never had streaming device at all you won’t miss anything at all. Now if you’re not new to streaming devices and you’ve Hey experience with products you might just miss the volume control and power buttons, but it’s not a big deal.

I’ve had every device there is from the first gen firestick, the 4K stick to the fireTV cube. I know all the features, the in and outs, and tricks on how to use each and every one of these devices, so when they came out with the lite I had to try it.

It doesn’t disappoint. It is the same fire stick but just try to imagine, or remember the fire stick before 4K, and before the power options and volume remote the IR features. It actually has the same power, and performance as the 4K Firestick, just 1080p HD.

This was just a way for to corner the market by having the cheapest streaming device on the market ahead of all the new competition bringing out streaming devices. And again, it does not disappoint. Its also faster than the standard 2nd gen Firestick, so if you have a 2nd gen this is a very economical upgrade.

With the lite there’s no cheaper device this good on the market, and no reason to buy any other device on the market if you are just getting started, and now has a device for all price points, this is the economy package.

I like this product. We are first time cord cutters and with assistance from a Best Buy associate and watching videos online, we were able to leave Comcast and join the streaming video world. Firestick makes it pretty easy, and we are liking the change.

The voice control feature is neat. There is a learning curve and some things on Firestick are not as easy to figure out as others. I like the ability to enter different viewer profiles. We bought Firesticks for each TV we own because we only had one smart TV and so the viewing experience would be the same on each one.

I have no idea how Firestick compares to Roku or Chrome as we have never used either of those products. I miss having one program guide which shows ALL the channels including public free channels available over my antenna.

I understand that there is a product called Air TV which I wish I had known about sooner, as I understand it has that feature. There was an offer for it when I signed up with AT&T but it was not well explained, and I missed out on it.

Now that I have an antenna for the free channels, it isn’t really worth going back and paying $100 for an Air TV device. There are some program guides in Firestick menus, but they are comprehensive and cover every channel you have available on your streaming service and free channels you have downloaded, so it is massive, but it doesn’t cover network station airing on free channels.

Anyway, I’m liking the change from cable TV and there is more channels and programming than anyone can possibly watch which was not available with comcast. If we can cut the cable at our age, anyone can do it.

Talk to a Best Buy associate, watch some videos, talk to folks who have done it, and you can do it and save a bundle of $$.

When I cut my cords off cable expenses 5 years ago, I bought the original Fire TV Stick. It lasted and worked pretty good but recently after 5 years, it just died –no power, no connection. I researched the newer ones (Fire StIck LITE vs.

3rd generation) and found out the “FS Lite” remote does not correlate to your TV power and volume. So I went to Staples and purchased the regular 3rd generation (says “Fire TV Stick (supports HD 1080 streaming)” on the box and — wow.

Fast clicking, great power. This one does not support 4K, but I was fine with that because my older TV doesn’t have 4K anyway. TV picture is lucid clear, great. On the remote that comes with this stick, the Alexa button is highlighted in blue color now.

It has the 4 express buttons on the bottom to instantly bring up Netflix, Prime, Disney, Hulu. (Rather than always having to go back to a “Home” screen to change ) I could not believe how quick the express buttons connect you to those platforms.

I must say the quadcore processing power in this Fire Stick works very fast — which in an impressive feat considering this little thing has no fan or active cooling. (And unlike the “Lite” stick), the remote with this version stick DOES dovetail with your TV power and volume buttons.

So it’s very nice to use just one remote for mostly everything. Very pleased with my purchase. No complaints. Love it.

Nice improvement to the old fire stick we had. I mostly just wanted it for the shortcut buttons and to control the tv volume without having to keep 2 remotes on hand all the time. The previous fire stick had also started getting laggy despite updating it and emptying the cache constantly to improve performance, and this one has none of the same issues so the updated hardware was needed.

Setting up was fast and easy, and syncing with the tv to control the volume was also quick and painless. That process started automatically after the new fire stick finished setting itself up, no tv code or annoying info to find and type in.

Overall super happy with the upgrade and happy to finally have lag-free watching again.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have the 2019 Fire Cube (1st gen) and decided to get the 2021 Fire Cube (2nd gen) for my second TV. I was comparing the Firestick Max vs. 2021 Fire Cube and, based on the Quad-core processor specs, I opted for the Fire Cube.

I expect it to prolong the life of the device when future firmware updates arrive. I already learned my lesson, since my 2018 Firestick HD is slow and glitchy now, despite reformatting the device. My 2019 Fire Cube is still fast, despite being two years old.

The Fire Cube has a fast interface, despite the home page being bloated with Amazon content. The 2021 (2nd gen) Cube has the 3rd gen remote. I like the option to use the ethernet cable. IšverstiShow in original languageThis is such a great product for the UK right now in Dec 2021. It does Amazon Fire TV stuff obvs along with Netflix, NowTV, BT Sport, and much more. It is lightning quick to open apps compared to the FireTV stick and the NowTV stick I had.

Other reviews seem to confirm this is the top end of streaming systems. Finally the Alexa service is here in it’s best TV oriented setup. It allows all connected devices like soundbars, receivers etc to be controlled by voice and does the magic 1 command to switch off or on which is truly amazing.

Wow, this Firestick impressed me! So many new features and improvements over previous generations. First, setup is a breeze! It really is a plug and play setup. Everything you need is included, including the batteries for the remote! Just plug in the hdmi end to your tv (make sure you pay attention to what port/input you are using as this is where you’ll watch the Fire Stick), then plug in the power source and it will go through what language, let you input your WiFi info, and do any necessary updates.

Mine did have an update upon setup but it’s pretty fast depending on your connection. With mine, it automatically detected my tv so I can also use the remote to adjust volume, etc. I love this feature and always hated having to remember tv codes to program remotes or having to manually scan for codes! This makes this setup the smoothest and fastest possible! I love that the fire stick allows me to have our entertainment at my fingertips, with only one device.

We are a streaming family and stream from Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I can also access my channels through Prime such as Discovery + all in one place. It essentially turns any tv into a smart tv.

You can access the weather, your photo gallery (if uploaded), Facebook, browser, etc. For families, you can setup users and customize the home page. Another great feature, especially in today’s world, allows you to setup parental control so you can limit each profile specific to the user.

I’ve been using my Fire Stick daily since it’s arrival and I am still discovering new features! I love the interface and ease of setup. Highly recommend.

We said bye bye to a big cable bill and hello to Fire tv. We already had Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ at the same time as satellite tv but our old smart tv was just…. well, too old. Switching between apps was clunky and certain ones could not be updated to the latest version which was very annoying.

This stick was a simple solution and very easy to install. We found ourselves watching the streaming more than our cable so we cancelled in completely and haven’t regretted it (and neither has our wallets).

We now have one for our bedroom, one for the kids room and one for the living room. It has all the steaming platforms, YouTube and social media stuff like FB watch and TikTok as well as music and hundreds of radio stations.

I honestly have no complaints minus sometimes you may have to do a restart when things go wonky. I also like that you can pair it with all your other Alexia things and with the app I can make an announcement to my kids or hubby from miles away.

The Amazon Fire TV Omni Series is a very basic, entry-level 4k TV. Along with the Amazon Fire TV 4-Series, it’s one of the first Amazon-branded TVs. It improves on the 4-Series marginally, with Dolby Vision support on the larger sizes and better build quality.

It’s great for a dark room, with excellent contrast and good black uniformity. It’s bright enough to handle glare in most rooms, as long as you don’t have a lot of natural light. It has a great selection of streaming apps, and it can remove judder from any source, which is uncommon for a 60Hz TV.

The remote has built-in voice controls, and there are microphones on the TV for hands-free control. Unfortunately, it also has many of the same flaws as the 4-Series; it has disappointing accuracy out of the box, with just a basic white balance calibration system.

It also has a slow response time, resulting in noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects.

Now that it’s properly set up, I love this Fire TV Stick HD with Alexa! I’m using it with a 2007 Vizio TV in the kitchen, and it’s giving me live and on-demand access to my favorite apps and TV. Did I mention that this TV doesn’t have Wi-Fi and that I planned to buy a new one to connect to my mesh setup? It was Prime week and I mentioned my plan to an IT tech at work and he suggested this HD fire stick.

I bought it for more than 50% off! It was delivered the next day and I started the easy set-up process, but got stuck when asked to sign into my Amazon account to receive a code to input on the set-up screen.

At this point it was all uphill with my limited tech skills. I didn’t think the Fire stick would work if I didn’t already have Alexa. Wrong! The tech at work told me to bring it in, he used my Amazon account to set it up (the Fire stick has built in memory!), I took it home and plugged it in and voila! Now I can use Alexa and see my favorite TV series, along with Netflix and SiriusXM.

I’m lovin it! Now that the Fire stick has saved me the cost of an updated TV, I’ll consider buying a new monitor! Don’t give up on the set up!.

My father decided to dump cable completely over a year ago. He would often say how much he missed being able to DVR and watch live sports while fast forwarding through commercials. I had purchased an Insignia Fire TV back in 2018 and read several reviews about the Fire TV Recast.

My biggest concern was that my father lives in Northern Iowa with the TV towers almost 50 miles away. I took a gamble and purchased the Recast along with a few different antennas from Insignia, RCA, and finally Antennas Direct.

He set everything up and did several channel scans in different locations. The best location ended up being in the garage (25 channels) and he was able to connect to the Recast over Wi-Fi. He has used it since July and is very pleased.

I had the opportunity to visit him and watch several football games. They came in very smooth with almost no buffering. I deducted one star as the the interface for recording and accessing the channel guide is a little cumbersome.

There is plenty of storage for his needs without needing to purchase an additional hard drive. Buy it on sale if you can find it for around $170. 00.

The Recast is great if you don’t have cable or satellite and want to watch/record local programming via the Recast DVR. It does require a Firestick and OTA antenna. The downside to the Recast is the setup can be difficult for people with limited tech experience.

Plus trying to figure out how to add live tv channels from all the Firestick’s free apps to the live tv guide that airs your existing local programming is very difficult, but not impossible. I added several classic tv channels from Pluto TV, IMDB TV and Tubi TV to my local tv guide.

Amazon needs to provide a better how to guide that covers basic installation and step by step info on how to sync live tv apps to add/remove channels to the live tv guide. I wish Pluto, IMDB, Tubi, Roku and Peacock apps would offer more channels in the Recast tv guide.

You can also use the Recast on multiple Firesticks in your home.

I bought my first recast in 2020. I already had indoor antennas on two TV’s but had live TV through DirecTV. I had the antennas on TV’s with no DirecTV box. We decided to cut the cord and wanted to watch local channels that were not offered by streaming services on any TV in the house.

We are prime subscribers and have multiple FireTV’s so this was perfect. Plus the hard drive is included and there’s no subscription. All went well until a few months ago. The recast would not keep it’s connection to our router.

No other streaming devices including FireTV’s had this issue. Got a replacement under warranty. So far so good. If this one fails I will have to find an alternative since Amazon doesn’t seem them on their website.

I wouldn’t recommend because of this limitation.

I had high hopes because of the number of 4 star and above reviews, but I was disappointed to say the least. Having no previous experience with the Amazon Fire TV interface, I was amazed at how sluggish and limited the Fire OS is.

After over an hour of updates, the TV was finally ready to watch (or so I thought). In-line Roku or other Smart LG & Samsung TVs, this did not come with any apps pre-installed; so I began downloading apps (for the first time); the download process was painstakingly slow & no status update was available, so I was led guessing at how much time was remaining.

I also learned that if you leave the Home Screen to go into settings, the app download apparently stops. Next, after setting up another profile (since this is a TV that my child will primarily use) I learned that all apps have to be re-downloaded to the new profile.

Another 45 minutes and multiple attempts later, TWO apps – Netflix and Disney – were finally downloaded. Then I start looking for the sleep timer, only to realize that the TV on the child profile is so restrictive that they can’t even get to settings… so no sleep timer.

You are able to set up screen time from the main profile, but a simple sleep timer is all I wanted. Finally, everything is done (or so I think) so I power the TV down for the day. I turn it on again 6-7 hours later for my son to watch a little TV, and there’s a message that the Remote is updating (yes, the remote).

The TV and remote are unresponsive for approx 10 minutes, and when the begin to work, the lag between the two are atrocious. Finally, -after around 5 minutes of lag and restarting the TV twice I’m able to load the main profile (not my sons) and start a show.

This TV is TRASH, and will be returned today. I will never own another Fire TV again.

I bought this TV to use in my library, and mainly because it was a “Toshiba”. It turns out that the “Toshiba” lights are no longer actually manufactured by Toshiba anymore. Functionally it is kind of average or sub-average.

My daughter said that she could tell the picture quality was not very good, as soon as she saw it. The worst part, for me, at least, is that the audio output jack does not appear to work with a Sennheiser wireless headset (which worked with a Samsung TV and an Insignia TV).

Hints: ====== Also, if you use apps, make sure that you MANUALLY do all the updates on the firmware/software! When I tried the Apple TV app, it would come up, but could not log in (“spinning icon”). I did some googling and found a page that said to force the updates manually (using Settings) and I wa happy to find that after doing SEVERAL updates, Apple TV was able to log in.

Also, since the headphones didn’t work, I took a chance and tried to pair the TV with a bluetooth headphones, and was amazed that it worked! Also, when the bluetooth connects, the TV automatically turns off the speakers! I guess at this point, if I had known about these problems (esp.

the wireless headphones), I would have tried something else, but too much trouble to package it up and take it back to the store :(.

Nice price, lots of features, but you have to be patient in setup. It’s more a computer than a TV, and it will take up a half hour or more with software updates and sorting out glitches. There were three for me.

First, in the middle of downloading the second update, the screen reported that internet had been lost. It suggested measures to restore my internet, but it was fine on my computer. Last option was to unplug the TV and reboot.

That reconnected. Later, when the setup goes through all the streaming apps, it doesn’t show Netflix. You have to click Next at the end and then when it asks if you really don’t want any apps, press the Netflix button on the remote.

This does NOT work when you are in the apps selection screen. (This may be fixed with a software update. ) Also, toward the end of setup, it did an update of the remote control. Really! On screen said it could take 1 to 2 minutes, but screen was stuck there.

After about ten minutes I unplugged and restarted. Seems to be okay.
