20 Best Liquid Wax For Cars (2023 Updated)

I was using the liquid form of this product on a brand new black car and was not happy with the areas of cloudiness due to not wiping off completely after wiping off several times. Areas would appear several days after waxing.

I assume I was using too much but the liquid is hard to apply thinly. I never noticed this on my last black car but it wasn’t a high gloss black. I started researching other brands of wax and was close to buying a competitor.

I used to use Meguiar’s paste and always got great results. I don’t know why I switched to liquid, probably was on sale. I used the paste and car looks wet. No white cloudiness. Goes on easy, comes off easy and I’m glad I caught my error and used the correct product for my paint.

One of the best products on the market and I tried of a lot of different waxes. This one is easy to apply and particularly very easy to polish without leaving traces. It gives a long lasting shine especially on black cars.

Look for the Gold Class Carnauba PLUS (not only carnauba ) Cost almost the double of other regular waxes but it’s worth the price.

I generally use the tortoise brand wax and dry. This product was recommended by a dude at the car wash. tBH his car was shining amazing. So I decided to give a chance. OMG!!! He was right. Was definitely better than the wax and dry! This is a carnauba wax which is popular in car wash.

Its long lasting with a brilliant reflective shine. Its ready to use and the box is very convenient. The sponge(applicator) that you use is attached on the lid and covered with an internal plastic cover.

A small amount of wax is enough on the applicator to finish one piece of your vehicle. The best is to wax piece by piece. Take your time and do not rush during your waxing. I wash my car very often and generally use wax and dry every other wash and do clay bar clean every 4-6 months.

Once I do clay bar cleaning I use meguiars gold class premium pate wax. So satisfied! Highly recommended!!!.

This stuff works great. It can be applied fast by hand and after about 2-3 minutes can be quickly removed/leveled. My car is a deep red with a lot of metal flake and pearl, and this did add a glossy depth to it.

Shine/reflectivity is immediately noticeable after finishing. I recommend applying this by hand since using a power buffer or other tool is not necessary (there are no abrasives in this like a compound or polish).

Using a small round foam or microfiber applicator pad to apply it works best. Once the pad is loaded/saturated, applying a mininal amount of product to the pad is all that is needed. Just enough to evenly coat the paint.

If you use too much too thick and you wait too long to wipe it off, it will be a struggle to remove it and will take some extra elbow grease and time. When applying thin, you need to have a good angle of sight across the body panel so you can distinguish a reference point where you applied it, and also see that you are applying conservatively but covering fully without running “dry.

” The instructions say to wait 3-5 minutes to wipe and remove. for most conditions i have found that 1-3 minutes is easier to remove depending on whether you are in sunlight or shade. 5 minutes seems a little long for this product as it sets up fast to the surface.

Also be aware that this will not haze or “fog up” like an old-school wax. Generally, if you are applying it correctly, the foggiest it will look is the instant you apply it. After a minute, it will become less hazy and start leveling off, and depending on your paint it may be hard to see where you did or didnt apply it before you remove it.

For removal a microfiber towel is okay, but I recommend a finer fiber mit or detailing cloth, the results seem smoother and more consistent with the softer plush detailing towels. The hydrophobic properties of this stuff is great.

Water beads and falls quickly with little to no trace. What’s nice is that you dont have to worry about avoiding black plastic trim, chrome, plastic, or glass. Theres no white residue or weird effects.

This stuff can be used on all of that, including headlights, exterior glass etc. I used it across some chrome pieces and some black plastic window trim and the door sails and it sets up nicely and added shine to them just the same.

This is one of my new favorite products as it can be applied quick without worrying about extra mess, and so far it seems to last quite a long time.

Easy to apply and remove. It went on much quicker than i expected so I was able to work ahead on panels while still using good technique. I used a microfiber pad to apply and microfiber towel to remove.

It doesn’t have any of the cleaning properties of a paste wax so make sure all water spots are removed first, and clay bar/pad if needed before application, then a polish. Take the time to find any tiny bug spots or anything else missed during washing and remove those first.

I haven’t seen the long term performance of this product but it applied so quickly and easily the first time that doing it again every few weeks really isn’t an issue for me.

Meguiars have listened to the market and released the liquid version of their popular (and controversial) Hybrid Ceramic Wax. This time you use it in the traditional way. Wash your car, remove contaminants if needed, polish if needed, and apply this.

They also claim you can top this over another sealant or wax, but I’d recommend to apply to clean paint. Application: You need maybe about 3 dime sized dots on an applicator pad, this seems to be enough for an entire panel.

You can apply in either circular or hash, it really doesn’t matter. I applied it circular. It goes on smooth and easy. But not quite as easy as something like Collinite 845, but it’s no issue. I did one panel, moved onto the next, then started removing the previous panel.

Removal: This is where it gets a little interesting, this does not haze like other waxes or sealants. It actually dries about 80% clear. I’d knock a half star off because on my silver impreza, it was extremely hard to see where I have applied! This is probably why they suggest you do one panel at a time and not the entire vehicle.

It might not be an issue on darker colors so YRMV. Otherwise, the actual removal with a microfiber is one of the easiest on the market. Performance: The water beading is great, I would say it’s 90% close to something like Fusso Coat which is legendary for it’s water repelling ability.

For those wondering why care about water beading, it’s just an easy INDICATOR to see if there is still product on the paint over time. It also makes it easier to dry as the surface tension is higher.

Also I suppose this is more theoretical, but a higher surface tension means higher ability to deflect dirt and grime. Durability: Can’t comment on this since it’s only been applied for a couple of days.

Meguiars on their forum also does suggest a 24 hour cure before getting it wet or washing it. And I’m not a fan of the chemical tests as it’s not a real world indicator of durability to me. But if this is the same as the blue HCW spray version, it should get a minimum of 3 months and up to 6 months of solid performance.

Visual: The Gloss is amazing, it bumped up my already polished impreza just up another notch. Of course you would think it’s just Placebo as I told myself the same thing. But at least to my eyes it seems glossier.

Maintenance: This is also where it gets interesting, so Meguiars have another product called Ceramic Detailer you can use in between washes and boost the performance to extend it. OR you can use the original blue spray and rinse HCW.

Going that method I think will make this last for more than 6 months since that’s pretty much like re-applying full strength again. At that point it’s going to be hard to tell when the original base layer of this Ceramic wax would have failed.

Conclusion: All in all I’m very happy with this. It’s enjoyable to work with, looks and performs great. I’m only knocking off a half star because it doesn’t haze after application. The price seemed high at first until you start looking at other liquid ceramic waxes on the market.

It’s either the same or under those, so the value is there if that’s what you’re looking for.

This seems to be a preferred choice in our gliding club to do an annual polish of gelcoat and PU paint-finished surfaces. More wax than a polish, hard to work without a polisher though the result is quite poor compared to other automotive polishes.

Does not damage gelcoat/PU finish and seems to be sealong the surface, which is by far the most important when dealing with aircrafts. Maybe there is a trick how to use propery it that we are still to discover.

Been taking care of cars since very young and really wish I’d have known about this from the beginning. Back then I think it was an as seen on TV product so I doubted its claims. Well it may not be the best polish next to actual buffing compound or may not last for a full year but it isn’t too far off, either.

I used this on a car last year and just now got around to reapplying it. It wore off what I thought was completely after a few months (NO wax I’ve tried has lasted anywhere near even that long) due to not beading water as well, but it protected my black paint all this time anyway.

The reason I now this is I didn’t apply to sections that need to be repainted and those sections just deteriorated worse over the year, while the protected finish did not. Highly recommended to those who don’t enjoy waxing their car but want the paint protected short of something like expensive wraps or ceramic coating.

Lived up to the reviews! I purchased this use when drying my truck without worrying about water spots. As other have written, you simply spray this all over your vehicles while it’s still wet then wipe it off.

Not only does it help with avoiding water spots but it makes drying your vehicle easier. That alone makes the product worth it but there’s of course the fact that it provides a nice shine too! Only thing that would make this spray wax perfect would be a different scent.

I personally don’t mind the smell. However, I’m not the only one who uses the garage and let’s just say she isn’t big on Wax smell. More so because it lasts several days, lol.

Purchased this after seeing a YouTube video about it used to get rid of water spots and it works. I have a dark gray car and always had nasty water spots after washing, my parking area has no shade so im always stuck washing it in the sun.

I mix this product 1:10 in a half gallon pump type sprayer and spray down the car after rinsing, let it sit for around 5 minutes then rinse again. Water seems to bead off easier and leaves a nice clear finish.

I can get away with 2 washes with 1 half gallon mix, so about 40 washes with 1 gallon of product. I’m surprised this product isn’t on every stores shelf, it’s a must have.

Liquid wax repelled water as advertised. Easy to apply. Wash your car with your favorite car wash then apply wax using a sprayer and wipe off. Mix as described with water. A little goes a long way. Next wash, dirt comes off easier.

When the car dries, no spots left behind.

I have multiple of Turtle wax other brand wax’s This is the best one I have used. It’s very hard to find but this product gets off little scratches and makes the car really shine. It also leaves a thicker protective coat on the car that makes it stand up to the Washington State Rain!.

The Express Shine is exactly that. just wipe it on with a light rubbing action and buff up with soft cloth for best results. Definitely no hard rubbing required so no problem to shine even a large car in a short time.

Providing the paint on your car is in good condition this product will keep it looking like new with minimum effort.

I purchased this product about two weeks ago as I was looking for a product that would contain Carnauba wax. The first test was on a small area and I was so happy to see a great result straight away! My whole car is now covered in this product and I will need to purchase another bottle very soon to have a spare while travelling around.

Highly recommended. I was worried that waxing my car would take a long time but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. I applied this wax in the shade at around 25C. 5 small dobs easily covers 1/4 of the vehicle.

Wax applies easily and once dry (leave for 5 or so minutes) wipes off super easily with a microfibre cloth. Using a budget random orbital/DA sander I was able to do the entire car within 20 minutes and ended up applying another coat.

Once the wax dries, the car is silky and smooth to touch. Perfect end to my car detail. Highly recommended for a pain free waxing experience!.

I used to use this all the time. Was running out and bought a new bottle as my old one of 3 years was finally almost empty. Applied after a wash/dry as I usually do and was nearly impossible to wipe off, left smudges and smears, and then what did look decent disappeared within a few weeks.

Old stuff wiped clean off and the shine/protection used to last for many months, used to be able to rinse the dirt right off it. For a vehicles paint that can be ruined easily, there’s no second chances on a reliable product.

Even if the protection didn’t last a long time, it should never smear and get stuck on there. Would not use again.

Been using this for 45years, Works well and is affordable. I make spray wax with this, too. I bought a spray bottle, and put about 1″ of the liquid wax in the bottle. Filled the bottle to about 3/4 full of hot water from the sink.

Do not screw on the spray head, The liquid wax will clog the sprayer, you must mix the 2 parts well first. Cover the top of the bottle with something and shake. Maybe do this outside, it could spill a little.

After you mix it well, screw on the spray head and use. You really do not need much liquid wax in the bottle. Experiment. Been doing this 10 years and water beads well and the spray lasts as long as the liquid wax.

BTW, I use the liquid wax on all the top surfaces, and the homemade spray on the sides. It does work well.

I only wash my cars by hand and use this product about every other wash or two. It leaves a spotless surface and the beading that takes place after the rain or the next wash is amazing. The extra step of using this keeps my cars cleaner and makes them much easier to wash thanks to the resilient barrier it creates.

Its also priced better than the competition in the stores, which is a definite plus !.

I was using 303 Automotive Spray Wax recently, when a friend stopped by. He asked what I was using, so I showed him the bottle. He walked around my SUV and said “looks like you’ve used that 303 Spray Wax on the hood and front bumper.

” I replied “yes, how can you tell?” He replied “it’s easy. those parts are much shinier than the rest of your SUV. ” He was right! I finished waxing the rest of the SUV, then handed him the bottle of 303 Automotive Spray Wax.

He said “you finished waxing in record time. why are you handing the bottle to me?” I said “I see your truck parked out there, in the street. it really needs some 303 Spray Wax. ” He happily took the bottle home and waxed his truck.

I doubt that I’ll see that bottle of 303 Automotive Spray Wax again!.

Finally, 71 degrees out today after 30+ inches of snow 3 week ago. Pulled the bike out of storage and went for a 3 hour ride. Upon returning home, the front of the bike had a couple dozen bugs on the fairing, forks and fender along with light water spray which dried on the lower frame.

The Speed Detailer made an easy job of cleaning up the bike. While up on the lift, I also tried the Quick Wax. Both products worked excellent. The Detailer removed the dried on bugs with almost no effort and the Wax went on silky smooth.

After wiping down the rims, I applied the Quick Wax to the rims as well to make future cleanings even easier. I could not believe how quick it was to complete the clean-up using these two products to keep your ride in perfect condition.

Now the weather predicts 1-2 inches of snow in about a week, so the bike is back in hibernation for another month or so. Thanks 303 for saving me a lot of time in cleaning up my bike after my ride today.

I’ve been using this product for years. It is a great preservative for plastics. It leaves no white residue. I’m not sure I’d call it a wax. The first ingredient is water and the second is silicone. I don’t use it on the exterior paint but it works good on the door jambs, hinges and under the hood on the plastics and rubber.

This is a very good product with an affordable price. The application is almost effortless. And it has a decent staying power. I have also found that it makes tar removal so much easier. It will not remove it like a wax, but it makes it possible to almost wipe it off with a wax, without the elbow grease normally required.

I’ve used Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax for several years and its the best spray wax I have found so far. I use it on my cars, truck and boat and its works great to maintain a high gloss shine. It does a very good job of removing bugs , light grime and road tar and works on glass, trim and even interior plastic and vinyl surfaces.

I use this to keep my vehicles clean and protected between washings since its so quick and easy to use. Its really reduced how often I need to do car washes and has kept the paint looking new for several years.

I bought this for the first time hoping to restore some shine to my Black Lincoln. Unfortunately when I went to use it the spray head was not functioning. And yes I checked to make sure it was on “spray” and not “off”.

Luckily I had a random spray bottle laying around and dumped the wax in there. Minor hiccup but smooth sailing after that. Sprayed it on and let it haze up and wiped it off with ease. Some of these sprays you really have to put some elbow grease into to get that oil slick look off of a black car but this came off really nice.

Car looks amazing and I look forward to buying more products. Just be sure to have a spare spray bottle laying around.

Been using this stuff for quite a long time since almost all of my 40 plus cars have been black. Serious. 40 plus lol. It works well to hide the imperfection scratches on black cars obviously because it has black dye in it, but it’s way better than the standard white wax that always leaves residue in the black rubber moldings.

The only downside is that it doesn’t last long. After a rainstorm, the beading that occurs with a good car wax goes away and you have to do it all over again a week later. It surely doesn’t last for a month.

You may get a week out of it then time to wax it again. It may be because my current car is 15 years old. But I still use it because it makes your black car look fantastic after you’re done using it.

Even if it’s only a week or so.

2010 black Tahoe set in Sun for 1 year in San Diego due to my extended overseas assignment. Got back to USA and knew I needed to restore paint. After 5 full polishes paint is restored. Super shiny. Glassy finish.

Superior product for black paint.

It is everything it says it is. While it does not fill larger cracks, it is everything it says it is. While it does not feel larger cracks, it certainly colors them and will even fill some hairline cracks.

It makes cracking on the vehicle very difficult to see. Its simply good stuff! MSR!!.

I’ve been washing and waxing my cars for 25+ years. I am not a professional detailer, and work only on my own vehicles. For most of that time I used predominantly paste wax. A lot of what I did was trial and error.

“Back in the day” paste wax had this reputation as the best. This liquid wax has definitely changed my opinion. It is easier to apply, and easier to buff off than paste wax. It cuts the time necessary to wax a typical sedan by about half compared to paste wax.

The shine and gloss is equal to, or better than most paste waxes in my opinion. From now on this will be my go-to wax. I definitely recommend it.

I cannot remember the first time I used this product. I’m an old guy and been waxing cars for over 50 years. Used a TON of different products. I will never change from Yellow 26. Have tried ceramic too.

Don’t care for it. To be fair, the cars I use this on ~ one is garaged, the other sits out in the sun / weather 24/7 ~ 365. Both cars are cared for a little different but this wax ALWAYS brings the one outside back to near factory new paint condition and shine.

No streaks / no spider webbing and leaves the finish exceptionally well protected. My roadster (garaged) doesn’t get the sun and weather. Naturally it is far easier to clean / wax. The other, an SUV, is black.

We all know about how bad black is to keep clean. She is waxed twice a year: Spring & Fall. Takes the summer sun and winter weather including snow and slush and always looks like she left a car wash.

I use a DA buffer polisher with pads and microfiber towels. You can find all that here on Home Essentials Direct. Once you learn how to apply it (and yes you can do it by hand if you like), and you FEEL that finish, and how long it lasts, you will be sold.

Definitely adds more depth compared to other carnubas I’ve tried. If you are not familier with this wax know that your vehicle should be clayed, compounded (if needed) and polished for it to have any advantage over average waxes.

I used this on a white 911 I had and I think it stands out more with darker colors. The NXT 2. 0 was great with white. I used m105 & m2o5 with lake country orange cutting pad and meguiars soft buff for polish.

Lake country black for wax , all with DA polisher. I track this car and don’t lay back in traffic trying to protect it. Even had the windshield replaced because its been pelted so much on track and highway the view became distorted.

You cant see the hundreds of marks in the bumper after detailing using that combination of products /pads. Good results from Meguiars products.

well for the life of me i just don’t understand why your vehicle must be wet. except for maybe to make the product go further. directions doesn’t say anything about sun or shade and nothing about getting it on glass or plastic trim ????? My first experience was this product may leave a great shine, BUT it streaks something terrible and i hate having to go back the next day or two to try and get rid of the streaks/smears !!! I chose Turtle Wax brand over all the many other brands because I have never heard of most of the other brands and Turtle Wax has been around for about 100 yrs.

and how can this rep be beaten. Besides I have always chosen Turtle Wax before and loved the Turtle Wax “Platinum” and “Gold” liquid polish !!!!! Sure wish that you never abandoned them !!!.

I am a car detailing hobbyist and have been coating cars for more than 10 years. I have tried Klasse AIO, Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, CarPro CQuartz (not UK), CarPro Gliss, Pinnacle Black Label (PBL) Diamond Paint Coating, PBL Diamond Coating Booster, Blackfire BlackICE Hybrid Montan Sealant Wax, Collinite 845, Turtle Wax (TW) Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating and this TW Hybrid Ceramic Wet Wax.

My Mazda 6 was coated with PBL Diamond Paint Coating and for testing, I applied the TW Ceramic Wet Wax on the roof, trunk and the bonnet. I applied the CarPro Gliss on the 4 doors. My observation is the TW Ceramic Wet Wax did not last long.

Durability was about 2+ months maximum where it lost the hydroponic properties. It shows the gloss though. The Gliss still stayed strong after 6 months and glossy. The car is washed every week or fortnight depends on the weather and condition.

So my opinion is the Gliss is better although it’s more expensive. But it lasts longer and saves your efforts and time for reapplication.

In my opinion, this was one of the best products ANYWHERE that I have speen specifically of ceramic wet wax. I found it to be way more cost-effective, useful, and it didn’t make you feel like you spent a ton just for wanting to have a nice looking car.

It’s not necessary to always go with 1 brand like the Chem. Hermanos that are kinda overpriced in SOME, not all of the different product areas. I love this type of wet wax it really makes my paint pop.

I’ve been around the block, and Meguiar’s Wax products have always been one of the most popular car wax products on the market for achieving an enduring, brilliant shine to a just washed vehicle. I also read some recent reviews about Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax (pros and cons) and from other comparable products on the market and found that Meguiar’s still seemed like the car wax product for me.

I applied two coats to the most sun exposed areas of the vehicle, such as roof, hood, and trunk. Going on fourth week with same car detail, and when it rains, the water still beads up nicely unlike all the other car details we’ve gotten in the past from the dealer to independent car wash facilities.

My next purchase will be with Meguiar’s, however, I may try Meguiar’s Carnuba Wax, but only as a comparison. Best regards! Pros: Brilliant shine, neat, clean, cool appearance compared to a carnuba wax (meaning no worries about any wax going on any plastic pieces, shines them all as well), and an enduring detailed appearance.

Cons: More difficult to remove (more rubbing involved). When wax was applied to the hood, I found that it was even a little more difficult to remove then the rest and it also seemed spotty looking, but it cleared up.

As with all car wax products; best results in the shade, for your health’s sake, and in using this wax product (read label instructions for best results). Wearing gloves are also suggested.

Here’s the thing; I’ve tried countless waxes and polishes over the years. I’ve even done comparisons using one product on half the car VS another. I’ve used expensive and run-of-the- mill products. My sample times have usually been apply in the Fall, see how it performs over a southern Ontario winter, then re-apply with something else in the Spring and see how it withstands the relentless heat/humidity.

My experiments have been on plain, untreated factory paint. I found the Meguiar’s Ultimate Wax to last the longest. It beads water the longest and remains durable with occasional brushed car washes over the winter.

It takes the longest to break down. Aside, it also leaves a fantastic shine with simply one easy to apply coat. If you are looking for longevity in your protection, this one beats out a ton of other products on the market.

So after reading all of the reviews and recommendations on Meguires ultimate liquid wax I thought I would give it a try. I first used it on my wifes 2019 Honda CRV since it was the cars first wax. Initially the sponge with the wax applied sounded kind of rough and scratchy and I was thinking this stuff is cutting through oxidation and cleaning and doing a great job.

After buffing the wax off (which does not come off as easily as a dry white paste wax) I notice that it had left some water spots behind. Usually when I wax and buff the hood of my vehicles I fold a rag and skim it across the hood to see how far the rag would slide with the new coat of wax and it didn’t slide far at all.

With these two observations I was not impressed at all. Now I don’t know how well the protection will be as it has not rained on the car yet so I won’t know about the protection until it does. Two days later I did the same thing to my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with the beautiful deep crimson red paint job and I noticed the exact same thing.

I have 12 led 4 foot fluorescent light fixtures in my garage so I get a great deal of lighting when doing my projects. After my 2 solid days of derailing on my 2 vehicles another thing I had noticed was that the shine on both paint jobs was not at all what I had expected.

I realize this wax us a synthetic which I have never used before but overall I was not impressed. It seems like it takes more work to remove the dried wax and on the red truck there are places that you can see a residue left behind when the sun hits it.

I have tried to rub it out and it just won’t come out. In defense of the product, I know nothing about synthetic waxes and this is the first time I have used it. Personally, I am not impressed and I think next time I will use something that seems to work better for me which is New Finish as it seems to be much easier to apply and remove and seems to do a really good job.

I have used Mother’s products for years. About two years I was told about this product, and switched over. It is easy to apply and easy to remove. Leaves a good protective finish. Would recommend.

Mothers synthetic wax goes on easy and off the same way. I do not get a dry powder build up on cloth when removing and if I miss taking off a spot it still comes off easy at later time. Past wax was Meguiars next tech wax 2.

0 which is good but not as good as mothers. Both my boys use it and have no complaints. I did recently go to 2 auto stores that said it is discontinued but by pot luck saw it at Walmart. Recent as yesterday I saw it on sale at Windixe and bought 3 units.

I do wax my 2 cars once every two weeks or so with small hand buffer I bought for 20 dollars. Once again ease of use with great shine keeps me waxing more frequently than most.

This wax is easy on, easy off. I find I can wax my car much more quickly with this wax and it has a lasting shiny finish. It is much more durable than other waxes I used previously.

As I was driving down the freeway surrounded by traffic I saw a bottle of brown fluid fly out of a truck and land right in front of me in an explosive way. It hit and splashed all over the front of my car making a giant mess.

It smelled like an industrial glue or hydraulic fluid but I have no idea what it was. I tried to wash the junk off of my car but it stayed a streaky mess that would not come out. So, I hoped a good cleaner wax would take it out.

I had used Zymol in the past and liked it so I went to buy a bottle but could not find it at any local parts store so I asked the associates at my local O’reilly what they would recommend for my situation and they suggested Meguiar’s.

I found a new favorite in this product as it worked miracles on the task at hand. The streaky mess came out and my car looked better than it had in well over a year. Another advantage I found over other waxes I have used was how easily it comes of plastic trim if you accidentally touch the notorious black trim areas on most vehicles.

By far the best wax I have ever used. I was so pleased with the results I had to call back to the store that night and thank the associates for the great advice.

Ive been using this wax for years as its incredibly easy to apply evenly and comes off with absolute ease. Its leaves a wet look that lasts and the price is excellent. I have tried other products before like mothers California Gold carnauba wax.

The mothers product goes on decently easy but taking it off is an absolute nightmare! Takes tons of elbow grease and just doesnt leave the shine like Meguiars does. Many times with the mothers product you miss spots during your removal process since its not easy to buff off.

Ive used both the liquid and paste form of the Meguiars and both are equally excellent. The paste IMO lasts longer (product wise) but the liquid is easier to deal with (less messy IMO). Unless your willing to spend the $30 plus on the higher end stuff this wax is all you will ever need!.

I have been using this product only for at least the past 15 years on all my cars. It applies and removes easily without excessive effort. The benefit I find is it does an excellent job of cleaning the paint of containments while waxing with excellent shine and the paint is buttery smooth.

I apply and remove by hand, don’t own a polisher. I find no need to clay prior to using this product. We have 5 cars including a classic 1969 Boss 302 and use this on all of them without issue. One of my cars is an F250 and I use it off road.

I came back from an off road trip and fired up the pressure washer and didn’t need to put a sponge it at all, everything just came right off. I use it on painted, powder coated and polished rims as well with good results.

No need to spend a bunch of money on all these various coatings, just buy this product, save money and you will be happy. And no I don’t work for Meguiar’s.

I have been on a journey round many of the ‘new’ brands of car waxes, often at triple the price! Finally I’ve seen sense and come back to Turtle Wax. It’s as good as the rest but at a fraction of the price! The Liquid Carnauba wax is easy to apply and buff, I even broke the rules and did it in blazing direct sunshine.

Still easy to buff. Its all important beading lasts for weeks. Delivery was fast and free. It’s been a long time since I’ve bought something that I thought represented real value but this is great wax and a great price.

I have previously used Turtle Wax Color Wax, for many years, which I have found to be excellent partly due to the coloured dust which comes off which is not noticeable as white dust. I have recently bought a white car, so not being as bothered about dust,I bought this Turtle Wax Carnuba Liquid Car Wax.

I have to say that is so easy to apply and remove – I use Kent microfibre cloths,( much better than other brands), to apply and remove the wax. The finish is so smooth and beads water superbly.

Quick, Simple and Easy to use. Produces a long lasting shine, many more expensive products do not match up to the Turtle. Have used Shampoo etc for years, this is the Crown in the range. Real Carnauba Wax, Brilliant shine and rain just rolls off, not bad on a 16yr old Mondeo.

I have used Meguiar’s Hi-tech Yellow #26 Professional Carnauba waxes for 35+ years, many of those years showing black Corvettes. I also used these waxes on my daily driver black pickups. Every once in a while I would grab a new “trending” wax only to return to Meguiar’s and give the nearly full competitor’s bottle away.

I saw the Ceramic Hybrid wax in the local store while picking up more buffing pads and decided to give it a whirl. I just took delivery of another new black vehicle and decided to use this as a “victim”.

I did the Meguiar’s #7 Professional Show Car Glaze, the #26 and finally the Ceramic Hybrid as a topcoat. Since the paint was already micro-scratch and swirl free, I did not expect a visual improvement but rather only a “protective” value to the coating.

Under white led lighting in the garage, the paint seemed to have added depth over and above my old standby #26! Being a car collector with 7 vehicles, I applied the Ceramic Hybrid to ALL of them. Easy on and off and no streaking! I did make sure the vehicles had at least 1 full day of cure time but bottle does not state a need for that.

Surprisingly, the bottle is still almost full as a little goes a LONG way and this should prove to be a very economical product.

I have a full size truck and using a paste wax is just not good with the pain in my hands. This has been the best wax I have found that is easy to put on and doesn’t wear off quickly. The water beads up and rolls off nicely.

I’ve had it on a black car sitting the the NC sun for a few months now and the water still beads up on it, and it looks nice. Since it isn’t driven much (couple times a week) I only have to wash it once a week to keep the dust off.

I used it on her car and it put a shine on it that was incredible. This is amazing because she has NEVER washed any of her cars. The paint looked like it was a matte color and after using this it was back to a nice glossy look.

This is in my opinion the best liquid wax out there.

I own a black 2007 LTZ Tahoe. I have used many different waxes to keep it looking a true black. I used Meguiars Ceramic Wax. It was easy to apply and take off. One big observation was it removed all the swell marks left for other waxes.

It gave a true beep black shine. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to keep their ride looking GREAT!!.

This is the first time that I’ve used this wax (having been a Mer and Autoglym fan for years) and only bought it after doing my normal research and reading reviews etc. and I’m completely satisfied with it on both my car and motorbike.

It’s very easy to apply using a microfiber cloth and when buffed up using an electric buffing machine, the finish was brilliant especially when it’s enhanced with the wet look. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive but effective wet look wax.

This is a good product. While not up to the standards of ‘Detailedonline’s PTFE Polish’ or ‘Power Maxed Ultra Finishing Polish’, this produces a very respectable deep shine and a very slippery surface.

The other two PTFE products are around 10-12, with this available for approx. 7. 50-9. 00 for the same 500ml quantity. This represents a modest saving for a slightly inferior finish but it is a good value option.

The quality of this product is very good considering the price I paid. Easy to use and although not fully tested it appears to tick all the apparent boxes. Time will allow a fuller appraisal. Ptfe certainly is an important player.

Detailers perspective. Great product if you’re looking to stretch your dollar. At about. 20 an ounce, it’s a steal if you’re inclined to buy retail products in a pinch. I use it as a drying agent after a wash.

Spray on while the vehicle is still wet before you wipe dry. Safe to use on ALL exterior areas including chrome, plastic, glass. Be sure to work in the shade and use the product sparingly to avoid streaking.

I stick to about 2 sprays per panel. If applying to a dry car, apply evenly to panel and make a second pass of buffing it with the other/dry side of your microfiber towel. When applying to a dry car, a second coat will give you great protection for weeks.

The glow and shine/depth of the paint after application is similar to results I get from much more expensive Si02 ceramic spray products. Use it after every wash as a maintenance application to protect the paint and or the longevity of your base wax job.

Great value and performance out of such a budget big box off the shelf option!.

Am a weekend detailing warrior but had never used a drying aid previously, couldn’t really see the point, but saw this on YouTube and was intrigued. Seemed to make drying easier and left a coat of protection so I thought worth a try.

Must say I am very impressed. Super easy to put on and take off and leaves a nice, shiny finish. Don’t be tempted to use too much, just a light spray is all that is needed. Get in the habit of when you’re about to spray just say to yourself; ‘I’m probably about to use too much’ and ease up a fraction.

Not quite as easy as YouTube will lead you to believe. The ‘drying/ spreader’ cloth gets pretty wet and heavy fairly quickly so you’re not really flipping the cloth for a buff as they show you but I had a couple of good quality, super soft buffers ready so once spread, grabbed a dry cloth for a buff and it came up really nice.

I get the impression that this stuff has been around for a while so nice to see that it so effective and perfectly adequate for these more demanding times. I’ll be using this for every wash from now on.

I bought this product to possibly replace the paste wax. Being in my early 60’s the paste wax on wax off & shine shine shine is getting to be too much. I’ve used turtle wax since my ’74 Charger days in the late ’70’s.

I’ve tried other brands (short lived) but always came back to turtle wax. Always been happy with that paste product, but now time & energy are both a premium, so I had to find an alternative. Refer to my title & I rated it 4 out of 5 stars only because I have not experienced it’s durability just how well it’s holds up to our KC pounding rain storms.

Thus my question; would it be advantageous to apply a second coat a day or two later. This was so easy to use it feels like prayers answered. I can use this monthly now & I really do like them prospects.

The once or twice a year paste application was not only exhausting, but I wished I could do it more often. See photo. Not bad for an almost daily driven 85k mile 12 year old car.
