20 Best Liquid Foundation Sensitive Skin (2023 Updated)

I prefer a light, natural coverage makeup look and I am so happy to have found this foundation. I was previously using another brand of makeup`s BB cream for years and it was just starting to make me breakout and started looking oily on my face.

I did a lot of searching for lightwear foundations. As I have horrible allergies and so many products out there contain way too many ingredients and way too much on the sunscreen side, trying to find a new makeup can be discouraging.

However, this foundation is such an improvement for me in just a few days! My skin feels better, looks better and brighter and I am now even wondering if something in my other makeup was irritating my nasal allergies as after switching to this, I feel like my allergies seem a little better too! I thought I might need a primer switching to foundation but this foundation wears great on its own and with a little setting powder to finish.

Revlon PhotoReady Candid is a light-weight cream foundation that glides on my skin like a moisturiser and blends evenly to give me a natural, dewy glow. It provides a light to medium coverage but builds nicely for a fuller coverage when I needed it.

I found I only needed a little over a pea size amount to cover my face, so it lasts a long time. It layered well with my other skincare products, and I didn’t experience any piling. I found applying a setting powder over the top helped to extend its longevity provided more of a matte finish to eliminate shine build up thorough out the day.

It come in a pump tube that makes for easy, mess free dispensing.

Tried it on a whim but it punches so far about its weight it’s a keeper for sure. And for the price!! It’s bonkers. Can’t believe that a) I stumbled across it accidentally and b) it’s only in my late 30s that I’ve found something so good.

Light to medium coverage, doesn’t settle into pores or dry my skin out, lasts. as long as I need it to I guess but I’m hardly a party animal. I will be devastated if they discontinue it. Ooh, and the colour! Literally a perfect match to my face and that’s tough cos I’m ginger and 2 shades darker than see-through.

This foundation creates a very beautiful natural finish no matter what I use for application: Fenty Precision Makeup Sponge, or fingers, doesn’t matter. I prefer a very light coverage application, so I cannot say how this would hold up if I needed fuller coverage.

It’s just barely scented, and inoffensively. It sits well by itself or with a setting powder over it (I use MAC Blot). I tend towards oilier, so the powder helps it last a lot longer. Even without powder, it doesn’t clog my pores, nor does it look like it’s separating throughout the day (in fact it looks surprisingly glowy after some oil starts appearing by early afternoon).

It does start moving and collecting around the nose once the oiliness sets in late day, but no foundation is impervious to that. I would highly recommend this to anyone with normal, combination, or oily skin.

I’m fairly on top of exfoliation, so I cannot say if this has ever clung to dry patches (though I find that no foundation holds up if you have dry skin, so I would be amazed if this was an exception).

Application goes on very smoothly. This is NOT a thick formula, nor does it run like a watery tint. It’s more moist than MAC or NARS Foundations, in my experience, but not quite a hydrating lotion. It doesn’t tend to dry before I’m finished applying, and I live in a very dry climate.

I have not worn this during a hot sweaty humid summer yet, so I cannot review for that climate. Currently it is a crisp and dry autumn, and it’s holding up well throughout day and evening wear.

Overall I’m disappointed with this famous foundation. I’d tried it by using samples over the years but I bought my first bottle about a month ago for a special occasion. I bought it to be photographed in.

The good things about this: it has a lovely finish; fresh and smooth, and the shade 6. 0, Medium Olive, is a match for my difficult to match skin. It does look great in photos, but not necessarily better than my other foundations.

I am extremely disappointed in the wear-time of Luminous Silk. I’m spoiled, because my go-to foundation for years has been Estée Lauder Double Wear (Tawny). But, frankly, I get better wear (and coverage) from Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum, and NARS Sheer Glow (the foundation most similar to Armani for me) lasts longer than Luminous Silk, and has a more radiant finish! I feel like I’m missing something…this foundation is iconic…but, in my opinion, it’s way, way overpriced.

I need to use concealer with this and it’s the first time in my life I’ve ever used concealer. I find the finish of Double Wear to be more beautiful on my skin. People compliment my skin all the time when I use it.

In a month of using Armani the closest I’ve had to a compliment is someone told me I looked tired one day. Since this foundation is so lauded, I expected it to be something with exceptional performance and appearance.

On my skin it doesn’t hold a candle to Double Wear. For “radiant” foundation NARS Sheer Glow is more beautiful on me, and for “natural”, I prefer Clinique Even Better serum. For perfect skin, Double Wear can’t be beat.

I had to try this, and I’m glad I did. I’m also glad I honestly prefer other foundations. This is overpriced, and something in it makes me break out when I use it daily.

If you’re a person of color looking for a new foundation look no further, this foundatoion is absolutely amazing. I have a neutral warm golden undertone and having both undertones I do not have a lot of perfect shade matches in other brands.

The shades are either too warm or too olive but this is such a perfect match to my skin. This a medium coverage foundation without looking cakey, it looks like skin. This foundation makes your skin so luminous and dewy without looking greasy, I use MAC Strobe Cream to make it even more luminous.

The shade range is amazing and is a very good option for women of color and women with with a neutral or olive undertone, especially Indian women looking for a new foundation. This is my new holy grail and my forever foundation, its also very beginner friendly.

The price tag on this foundation is worth it trust me you will not regret getting it and you will not find anything like it. For shade reference I match to Fenty Pro Filtr 370 foundation, Hourglass Vanish Stick Natural Amber, Rare Beauty 360W, Rare Beauty Skin Tint 42N.

I have been reasonably happy with this foundation. I used the shade finder online and was super impressed with the shade I was sent – it was quite possibly the best match for my skin tone that I’ve ever had in a foundation.

I have also been impressed with the coverage – I have combination skin and suffer from acne rosacea. Its always worse in summer so currently I have a fairly significant flare up and lots of redness. The Woke Up Like This foundation gives really good coverage for the redness and blemishes.

It does however feel quite heavy on my skin. This is probably to a certain extent personal preference – I don’t wear a lot of makeup and generally just don’t like the feel of it on my skin. I also know that it is the flipside of trying to get a decent enough coverage to hide rosacea.

However, on my skin it doesn’t give a matte finish, it feels quite oily and heavy and I notice a lot of transfer throughout the day on my hands and particularly my glasses which I hate. The other negative is how it reacts with other products (primers, colour correcting treatments etc).

I tried using my usual colour correcting tint underneath to neutralise a fairly severe rosacea outbreak and the foundation behaved oddly, it wouldn’t sit/stay on top so ironically the areas where I needed more coverage had none at all as the product was just wiping off as I tried to apply it.

I ended up taking it all off and reapplying the foundation on its own. The main problem for me though is that heavy/oily feeling. It’s uncomfortable after a full days wear, and with the current heatwave I’m avoiding it all together.

I think I’ll probably use it for nights out or days when I’m not likely to need it all day as it does give good coverage, is a great colour match and I like the overall look of it. It just doesn’t have the matte feeling and staying power I need for all day, everyday wear.

Having heard about this foundation , I was very interested to see if a correct colour match could be achieved online with the aid of questions and colour images alone. viewed only on an iPhone. I was very reassured by the money back guarantee and promise of help from the customer service team.

I don’t always believe these promises but the testimonials all backed the claims, so despite the fact that I felt it would be an expensive mistake if the foundation was the wrong shade I felt confident enough to try.

I completed the online assessment and immediately could see that the questions and image selection system was cleverly worked out and logical. I received my foundation and concealer plus my free gift (always appealing 🤣) and was delighted! The shade was virtually perfect and took account of my skin colour and important undertones resulting in a much better match than I have achieved in store with other foundations before both high end and chainstore.

I think it’s fair to say that in a store you have to rely on the skill of the consultant and the lighting. I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist but worked for many years as a make-up artist. I only mention that to emphasise that I am not satisfied with a ‘near enough’ match, and always ‘slightly modified’ my foundation by slightly mixing the colours.

The match I received did not need that. The concealer was also good for under the eyes but I use a brightener on top to perfect. I would choose a slightly different shade if I intended to use it for concealing imperfections elsewhere on the face.

I feel confident in recommending this foundation. I feel that so long as you answer the questions and choose the images presented carefully, you will receive the right colour for you. This product has obviously received a lot of clever and talented thought, and it shows.

My only disappointment is that it does not contain a sunscreen. It has other skin friendly ingredients but the only one we all really benefit from in a foundation, is a strong sun protection factor. Perhaps this could be incorporated into the range, even if it meant a higher price tag, I would then recommend it to virtually everyone.

Personally I use a 50+ sunscreen as a base and a translucent loose powder sparingly on top. In my profession opinion I have not found a better match 😉.

On a positive note, their customer service is exceptional and they’re easy and prompt when or comes to communication. The free gifts they included with my purchase were great, excellent quality and really made me feel good about purchasing from this company.

We often spend tons of money with companies and don’t feel appreciated so that was a big plus. I use clean makeup but have trouble getting proper foundation coverage. I’ve seen so many ads for this product that I decided to try it despite the fact that it’s not “clean.

” After ordering, I heard it was comedogenic so off the bat, I wasn’t excited about that but I was still willing to try it. After receiving it and putting it on, I was blown away by the color match and the coverage.

If you’re looking for perfect coverage without going professional, you will love this product. I liked it so much that I would have kept using it but unfortunately, it’s laden with a strong makeup (chemical) smell similar to that of the foundations found in local pharmacies and grocery stores.

I happen to have chemical sensitivities so that is a big no-no for me, especially on my face. More than that, we’re heading in a direction of clean eating, clean cleaning and clean makeup and this product is far from that – the smell tells me so without even reading ingredients.

I had to immediately remove the foundation from my face and had to return the product without being able to give it a fair shot simply because of the smell. If you are a person who is conscious of what you put on your skin, you should probably skip using this but otherwise, this product does what it says it does and it has the potential to please anyone who needs great coverage! I wish I could use it myself! Perhaps Il Makiage will make a cleaner, odor-free version down the line.

I absolutely love this foundation, that is why I had to comment. I’ve been using this for a few years now out all the foundations I have used over 20 years of using foundations I think I’ve used every single one on the market lol.

This one does it for me; reason being is that I’ve got a very funny shade when it comes to my skin tone I’m neither light skin black or dark skin its like I’m a few shades on the in-between. I find that this foundation I use either toffee shade or noisette shade which is as close as it gets to my shade but even still it can be tricky.

So what I do is tend to do is mix a second foundation by loreal which is called L’Oréal oxygen foundation now this one I absolute wish I bought years ago because this foundation sticks to the brush no drip.

It perfectly blends the other L’Oréal right into my face looking like a perfect even canvas. I’m in love what can I say and since I tend to wear my make up a little on the heavier side but narrow it down with loose setting powder it doesn’t look like I’m wearing much atall.

I have been a regular customer of your products for more than two decades, with wich I have felt fully satisfied, and for the last ten years I have been married with the iconic True Match foundation, because has been the only product in the entire market that has worked perfectly on my skin.

But in this moment I Feel totally disappointed with the new product imported from France by L´oreal Canada, which you have called the new version of True Match. This new version is not matte at all, and after two hours makes look the skin shiny, greasy and sticky to the touch.

The pores of the skin are maximized and shows more the imperfections of the face, plus it, transfer to clothing and this is frustrating. I followed all instructions given by you, to find my color in the new version; since in the traditional I use W3 during winter and W4 during summer, but definitely the new True Match don´t MATCH, and unfortunately in these times of post-pandemic inflation, many of us can´t afford to be trying and trying colors and products and at the end of the day not be satisfied with the results.

The reason why many women love the previous version is because of the naturalness that it leaves with not shine at all, the SPF 15 that helps to protect the skin; and only with one layer or a maximum of two, you get the expected coverage.

With the new formula, that is too liquid, you have to put up to three layers, and even with a single layer the skin looks terrible; I think that if we were looking for an ultralight coverage we would choose to buy a BB cream, or if we were looking for hydration we would buy the L´oreal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted serum; or if we were looking for luminosity we would buy the True Match Lumi, but that we are looking is a nice matte coverage wich is not provided by the new version.

Something that really annoys and makes customers feel unhappy is the publicity that they have given in some stores in Canada, where customers are confused and believe that only the packaging has been changed, but after having bought, the reality is different.

I just hope, my concerns be heard, because I Would not like to stop being a fan of your products.

1st things 1st: I love this product. My skin has changed recently due to age and chronic illness. So, I’ve been looking for a product for a year that would look and feel right as well as be good for my skin.

My journey started when I looked up what my favorite soap actress, Laura Wright (General Hospital), wears on her face because it always looks so good. The result was finding this makeup and learning a lot about make up itself.

I do not usually buy things because a celebrity wears it. It seems pretty silly to me, usually, lol. But I’m glad I got beyond that this time. The first thing I noticed is that it does not come in a box and the bottle looks kind of clinical.

As if it came from the dermatologist. I am personally happy with the company spending the money on the product and not the packaging. The first bottle I bought was too dark. I originally went to the website and did their tutorial.

It told me to buy beige. I thought it might be too dark by looking at it online. But I tried it anyway. It was really way too dark. I kept it and decided I would use it for contouring when I needed just a little shading.

I then bought Opal, which I thought would be better and I was right. It was perfect for my skin. It is very creamy, very nice texture. It does have a slight chemically odor that leaves as it dries. It melts in nicely.

It is easy to blend, and it dries nicely. Heads up: Let it dry completely before making up your mind. I think if I was to do it over, I would order their 10$ sample card. It does look a little different as it dries.

There are not a lot of colors. However, you can custom blend 2 together. This is an expensive foundation, but VERY worth it. You won’t use as much because of its consistency, and it dries feeling like you have something on, but light and feels like skin.

It seems to wear well, and my skin feels firm in it. This is going to be my go-to for nights out or when I want to look special. I will keep my bb cream for daily wear. However, You could absolutely use it every single day.

It is not heavy or greasy. It is GOOD for your skin. It helps it to retain oxygen and moisture. It has salicylic acid, so you won’t break out. It was developed for on-screen activity, so it is durable and long lasting.

Again, do not let the money discourage you. TRY THIS STUFF!.

This is the best foundation EVER!!! Because of Covid and masks, I developed a skin condition called perioral dermatitis. I tried sooo many foundations, like literally no joke 30 foundations from younique to everything at ulta and Sephora! Everything made my rash worst and had so many additives in them.

This is the only one that doesn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores or make my face rash worst. It covers amazing with a couple applications. I got the taupe, I’m blonde and have a medium skin tone and it blends amazing.

It does seem pricey but I use it about 3/4 days a week when I go to the office and so far one bottle has lasted me a month. I ordered a second for when I run out but depending on how much you use it it will last a month at least.

Buy it!! It’s amazing!!.

I love this foundation, I have acne prone combination skin, I get dry spots on my forehead and oily throughout my t zone and so so many products break me out and I struggle to find a foundation that works with dry spots as well as my oily zones.

This does beautifully, I use a real techniques sponge or a beauty blender and it looks gorgeous, it’s not full coverage it’s more of a light to medium coverage but the way it looks on the skin is amazing and the best part is it doesn’t break me out.

I use to love the Estée Lauder double wear foundation but I recently went back to it and it broke me out so badly and every time I go to attempt to try it it breaks me out again, same with my charlotte tilbury airbrush foundation which is beautiful but I break out horribly from it.

This works pretty well with a mask on considering I wear one 8 hour a day, it’s not perfect there is some transfer but it’s such a graceful fade that it works. I don’t wear primer but I do set it with a translucent setting powder either the Laura mercier or the honest beauty setting powder and sometimes a spritz of the all nighter setting spray and it looks stunning throughout the day.

I usually only set it with powder but if I want extra longevity from it I use a setting spray. On occasion I use a primer which is my holy grail guerlain primer (the one with the gold flecks) and it will stay put for 12 hours.

I still use my tarts shape tape with it and it blends beautifully together. I highly recommend this if you struggle with acne prone skin, sensitive skin or are oily. HOWEVER, if you are very dry this might not work well for you, back in January when it was cold and dry in the northern Midwest I had some dry patches that it would occasionally cling too so if you’re very dry this might not work well but if you’re oily this should be fine.

I’m a liquidy light natural foundation lover. So ya I’ve tried everything from Kosas to Armani and everything in between. I have redness acne scars large pores oily and dry areas. First off, shade 22.

5 is WAY lighter than depicted on the model. It’s whitish not yellow based. I’m usually light medium or a sand leaning more medium. This tone would suit a more fair person that doesn’t tan. If you have a warm yellowish base and need to cover redness, go up 2 shades.

Even up one shade I think would still be too light. There is a slight shimmer of you look at the clear bottle you’ll see it. I thought it would make me look glowy but instead I think it emphasized texture in my skin instead of smoothness.

Yes it’s really light weight and it does cover light to med but it really clings to any dry patches and dried down kind of matte and just looked fake and mask like instead of skin like because it dries down almost a strange thin powder like effect.

I looked like a ghost in a flat matte thin rice paper describes it best. I know I wouldn’t even like it in the right colour because of the weird flatness of it. Kosas is WAY better but less coverage and more skin like.

Best with Saie glow serum under! But this was a let down. There’s so many better thin formulas out there with great skin benefiting ingredients. If you are like me in between light-med with a warm undertone and some pink/redness and you want a comforting medium-full coverage slightly hydrating but not oily or thick, not too light or tanned, foundation that is clean with soothing ingredients and makes your bad skin look flawless with a natural sheen, try Tarte foundsealer multi tasking liquid pump foundation in 34S.

it will appear way too dark in the description ignore that, it’s perfect. This stuff will blow your mind. If you’re very oily you may not like. But this Your Skin but Better foundation just sits on top and looks thin cakey if that makes sense.

It just doesn’t blend in well. It’s so over rated on here.

Can’t believe how natural this flaw covering foundation looks. Finding a foundation worth wearing has always been a seemingly impossible task. I’m light to light-medium and find most shades are way too yellow, pink or peach/orange.

Neutral never really is. And in the rare occurrence that a color is just right, it turns orange (oxidizes) on me within an hour. Also feel that obvious foundation, no matter how even and pretty the color, is unattractive and worse than nothing.

I’ve tried most every mid rage to exorbitantly pricy foundation offered in the last 20 years and only found one that worked for me before this – IT’s O2. The light shade was perfect, the formula didn’t oxidize, and it gave a “my skin but better” look.

As that was discontinued years ago and the other IT formulas look like cakey orange messes on me, I didn’t expect much from this one. But it’s even better than O2 in that it covers better and still looks natural.

Like O2 it has a shade that matches well and doesn’t turn orange. Been wearing 31 medium-neutral, and will probably add a hint of 21. 5 or 22 light-neutral to lighten in winter. Typically wear it over Murad’s Invisiblur primer with SPF.

People think I’m 15 years younger than my ago so it’s not amplifying any flaws.

For reference, I am in my mid 40s, have hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and normal skin (on hot days it turns more combination) I got a sample because of this foundation because I was curious about it and i liked it a lot.

I consider this one a good foundation for me for the following reasons: PROS: – It works well on top of my skincare and sunscreen (I never rely on foundation for spf protection as you need to apply a lot) – It has SPF 15, which is not enough for your daily protection, but adds up to the spf that I always apply.

– It has a beautiful natural finish (I don’t consider it matte) which is the kind of finish I prefer. – It is lightweight: it looks natural on top of the skin. – Good coverage: I don’t consider it full coverage unless you build it up a lot (losing the natural skin like finish and turning heavy instead) I would prefer more coverage but it is enough to cover partially my hyperpigmentation and look decent.

CONS: – The price: it is an expensive foundation, but I understand that it is expected for a luxury brand. – It didn’t last 24 hours on me. It may be because of my skincare or sunscreen, so I cannot blame the foundation.

Maybe if I had applied it by itself, the finish would have been completely matte and the duration much longer. – Not transfer resistant, at least on me, but it may be because of the same reason I just described.

This is the foundation you NEED for hot, humid summer days!! I grabbed the on sale and am so happy I did! Wore this all day to an outdoor kids birthday party in 95 degree weather with humidity, and it didn’t budge one bit! Not only that, but as someone with oily skin, it left me with natural glowing skin through all of that! No need to blot, minimal oxidation and no cakiness.

Amazing. I wouldn’t go for this in the middle of winter because it has a very matte finish to start, but it’s going to be a go-to for summer for me. The packaging is so nice – a sleek, heavy glass bottle with a pump.

With Estee Lauder Double Wear, which is a similar formula, you have to buy a pump for the same price. And as a long-time lover of their foundation, this Lancome formula performance has changed my mind and won me over.

I will say that the shade match made me a little nervouse. Without getting a sample I ordered what I though would work based on shade recommendations, and it looked like the wrong shade, almost too light and pink, when I pumped it out.

Sorry about the long post I just wanted to share where my love affair with Lancôme began✨TEINT IDOLE ULTRA✨ my go to foundation for when I want a full coverage look! For years I have struggled with sensitive skin most foundations would make my skin breakout straight away!!! I would pay makeup artists to do my makeup for a special occasion and before lunch I would see the bumps appearing 🙉 7 years ago as my wedding was approaching I went on the lookout for the perfect foundation for my big day I was on every blog looking up reviews getting samples of foundations and testing them out for the day when I came across Lancôme teint idole ultra! I was SO impressed when the lady from the counter applied it to my skin it was flawless! Covered all my imperfections and had a gorgeous matte finish that I really needed as my skin was quite oily at the time! When it passed the test of withstanding the day without breaking me out I went back to purchase my first bottle (first of many) contacted my makeup artist to let her know I had purchased a certain foundation that I needed her to use for my big day only for her to say ‘omg I love that foundation and use it regularly on my clients it is so beautiful’ Ever since that day it has remained my go-to foundation for special occasions and events 😍😍♥️ it lasts SO well and always get comments and regularly asked what foundation I use! Another thing I really love is at the end of the day is easily removed with the help of my clarasonic which I feel like is really important as so many that I tried was so thick and hard to remove which I hate in a foundation as someone who usually wears a light coverage.

This packaging feels so high end. There is something about the cap that is so satisfying; with the Lancôme rose logo on it. I found a good shade match for my fair yellow skin in 160 Ivoire W. I have applied this with a beautyblender and a brush.

I find the brush, Sigma F80 or Real Technique Blend and Blur Brush, applies the foundation smoother and more evenly. It dries fast but not painfully so. I do half my face and then the other half with enough time to leisurely blend.

The finish is matte and the wear time is pretty good. I didn’t notice much transfer and it fades with no patchiness. I still set my combination skin with powder but very lightly. I don’t think it’s critical to set with powder, unless you have very oily skin.

So, I can see why this is a classic and I think it’s amazing quality makeup but my qualm is that I didn’t see the full coverage claim manifest. I saw a light but build able coverage. This can be built up for more coverage but I don’t see the full coverage miracle.

Otherwise, when I don’t have a crisis to cover up, I find this a reliable matte foundation best applied with a brush. Price point is typical for this luxury brand and I think it would last awhile. Also, contains a degree of sun protection without strong sunscreen scent or chalkiness.

This foundation was the first foundation I’ve ever tried and after using an few other drugstore foundations, I can state that this one has been the best drugstore foundation I’ve used. However, the color match was initially tricky as at first I used C7 as Beyonce was the brand ambassador at the time and it was stated she wore that color 😄 I don’t have cool undertones and I don’t think Beyonce does either? But, at this time I wasn’t aware of undertones so I’ve come from.

The color was also darker on me and was not a true match. So, then I tried N7 which Zoe Saldana was the ambassador as well and she’s definitely an neutral undertone, so I said what the hey? 🤔 this shade worked much better for me, but I’m not an true neutral undertone however I made that shade work.

I believe W7 was the best match for me. Besides the humorous color match journey, this foundation applies seamlessly and competes with higher end foundation. I just wish it came with an pump!.

This foundation is just okay. It has a natural finish with a very liquidy-runny formula. There’s many shades and undertones to choose from so that’s a plus. Coverage is decent, it covers my redness fairly well.

I like to use it to mix in with other foundations but on it’s own I find it doesn’t wear too long, and kind of has a greasy finish if you don’t set with powder. Mixed with the maybelline super stay foundation or a more thick foundation in general this works well but on it’s own it’s not the best.

I wouldn’t recommend if you have oily skin. I have normal to dry skin. The foundation also separates in the bottle and all the oil or whatever it is sets at the top and it looks really gross, you can just shake it up to fix it but idk this foundation isn’t bad, but it’s definitely not my favorite.

I received this As a complimentary sample from Influenster in exchange for a review! I have never tried Dior foundation was not aware of it even being a product of Dior so I was excited to try this the color was a perfect to near perfect match for me ! The color is 1,5W warm! It is the matte wich I was happy about also I like matte foundations!! I tested this throughly as is is a 24hour transfer proof foundation.

The consistency is creamy but very liquid like as well more liquid then cream I’d say and is sticky with a very floral scent I happend to like the scent but if you don’t like scents or on your face this is not for you because it definitely is now I used different techniques and primers and during these testing times because some worked better then others with this particular foundation it covers very well I like that about it! It being so sticky you have to apply a little at a time is what I did anyway because it drys fast and you wanna smooth it out over area patting it it quickly because it STICKS once dry and doesn’t take Mutch i went to grocery store walked my dog did different things to test this out it did hold up very well sometimes I found it can look a little Caked though especially if I didn’t moisturize first and maybe it being cold and winter added to that effect but this foundation in all I loved it and will continue using it I liked it better then I’ll Makiage or some others I’ve used I would probably purchase it again ! It had very nice full coverage matte look and held up even after a fell asleep in it on accident so that’s pretty great and with the right technique of application of this I think it’s a wonderful foundation in beautiful color match for my skin tone and also the bottle package that stores it is well made pump bottle is great also loved that about it as well ! I do have sensitive skin. I have only been using the Dior foundation as I’ve set my regular foundation aside in order to properly review. After two weeks of using my Dior Forever foundation I can honestly say that I like it, I like it a lot and it has agreed with my sensitive skin very well.

This foundation by Dior is a high perfection floral skincare formula with sunscreen and its boasts transfer-proof 24H coverage. I will stand behind Diors claims regarding this foundation also right in front, as I love the coverage the smoothness and the fact that it’s tranfer-proof and 24 hour.

The claims are 100% true and worth every penny of $52. The shade match which I choose myself is spot on at a 1W. Don’t forget to SHAKE WELL, there is a reminder on the bottom of the bottle. If the contents are not mixed you will not be using the product properly and you may experience discoloration of your foundation finish also you may experience increased sensitivity to the ingredients; so please follow instructions and SHAKE WELL directly prior to application.

I’d also like to mention that I tried different application methods for example my fingers, a sponge, and several different sorts of makeup brushes. With that being said I feel that the finished look no matter really the application tool used was a high perfection matte finish as desired.

Why is this so expensive? I just need to understand the thought process behind the price point as this is a tiny tube for what you pay for. If you’re an everyday makeup wearer, this won’t last you but maybe 2 weeks or a little longer! I haven’t used this but 5 times and I’m almost out! I don’t go heavy handed, either! This doesn’t take a lot to cover, plus you want it to feel light on your skin.

I love this because it covers so well, is smooth when putting on, easy to blend (in which I use my fingers or a brush) and it stays on long while! The color I purchased is a perfect match. I’m just saddened that I’ll have to make another purchase of this because the rest isn’t going to last long.

I wanted to mention that I get oily in my T-Zone area – which in this case the foundation has to be touched up in those areas by an hour in. But. for me it is like that with most foundations as I have combo skin and nothing I use foundation/setting powder/setting spray wise does its full job in the T-Zone area.

Sigh.

The best foundation. I really love this texture with spf. Perfect match with my skin because of the Lancome foundation tool. I found this formula to be less heavy and less cakes than other stick foundations I have tried.

The formula applied effortlessly and provided good coverage without needing to apply lots of product. It felt like it melted onto my skin almost. It looked like my skin and gave me a radiant soft matte finish.

I found it left my skin feeling velvety and soft after application. I also found this formula to be buildable, which was nice in areas where I had a bit more redness or blemishes to lessen the appearance of.

I would most definitely purchase this product in the future and would highly recommend it to friends or family.

Given I’ve been hooked on NARS Creamy Concealer for years, I was so excited to try their version of skin care foundation, especially given the rave reviews I’ve seen. I have tested for 3 days now, using different application techniques.

I am 32 with combination, generally “good” non-acne skin with some visible freckles and sun damage and am sadly generally disappointed with this product. Per the NARS demo video, I first tried warming the product and applying with my hands for a low-key errand day.

I was generally pleased with the medium level coverage and natural finish using this technique, but there was nothing wowing that day. I next tried with a Real Techniques sponge and this was surprisingly the worse application, although I generally love the finish that sponges give me.

After about 8 hours or normal wear at work, I noticed the product breaking up in my oily areas (in between my eyebrows, above my nose, and on my nose), while also settling into my fine lines. Lastly, I tried applying with the Real Techniques face brush and consistent with other YT reviews I’ve seen, this was my favorite application.

For the first time, my skin did have a beautiful natural luminous finish upon application, BUT. again, I noticed the product breaking up after a day of wear similar to the day before. Overall, I agree with the marketing of this product as medium coverage.

Consistent with other YT reviews I’ve watched, I do not consider it “buildable,” nor long-wearing. Given the price point of this product and NARS’ reputation, I really expected more. If you’re truly looking for skincare foundation, I would suggest other options.

To give you a comparison between other brands I’ve used and loved, my staples are Maybelline Fit Me Matte, Clinique Superbalanced and Even Better, and Este Lauder Double Wear. I consider them all more long-wearing, medium to full coverage, with natural but better skin that I get complimented on.

This formula could be better.

I really love this foundation! It seems to work perfectly with my skin. I have pretty dry skin with mild rosacea and eczema so it can be hard to find foundation that doesn’t just accentuate the dryness in certain areas but this one doesn’t do that and in fact works better than most foundations I’ve tried! It sits very nicely on the skin and leaves it looking smooth and natural.

There’s no glow or dewiness really which I like since because of my dry skin most of my foundations and setting sprays are dewy and hydrating but sometimes I don’t want my skin to look dewy, I just want it to look natural yet beautiful.

It seems to wear pretty well and at night when I go to take it off I don’t see dryness shining through or cracks in the foundation, it still looks good! It takes to my skin and even looks way better than the Sheer Glow foundation which I had high hopes for but doesn’t seem to agree with dryness for some reason.

I’ve always thought that all my foundations needed to be “neutral” but I went to Sephora and got perfectly shade matched with Yukon wich has cool undertones I realized that it looks way better and more natural then most neutral shades I’ve had.

This has become the foundation I use most days, along with my Tower28 tinted sunscreen, I do wish it had sunscreen in it though, that would make it perfect! but maybe that would mess with the formula and since I do not want the formula to change one bit it’s probably perfect just the way it is.

So this has very quickly become my favorite foundation and the only reason it’s not getting 5 stars like it should just for the formula and effectiveness alone is because I absolutely cannot stand the pump! It is such a bad pump and squirts out way too much product in one go and there’s no way to control the flow of it when it comes out and it is so frustrating and the reason it doesn’t get 5 stars.

Put a better pump on your amazing foundation Nars!! Since pumps are the best it sucks they put such a crappy one on it.

MY EXPERIENCE: + TRUE COVERAGE: high-medium, buildable + TRUE FINISH: very dewy, glowing / not self-setting + OXIDIZATION: yes; this does sharply oxidize to the point where you may want to consider choosing a shade lighter than normal to counteract the change + MELASMA TEST: fail; was able to see through to all of my melasma discoloration + PACKAGING: I’ve always loved the simplistic luxury of NARS.

It did show slight wear in my expression areas – but that’s expected. Although VERY luminous, it didn’t look excessively oily or greasy. I’m sure I could have attained a LOT more wear out of it! This is truly a smoothing formula that I cannot wait to wear time and time again! On a grand scale, this is by far one of the best-wearing foundations I’ve ever tried! I received the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation from Influenster as a free sample for my honest review. I use the shade 1W Warm and it is the perfect for me. I am usually a NC15 in MAC, and have fair skin with a warm undertone.

Dior has a good range of shades, so I think most people would be able to find their match I have normal to dry skin, which is mostly dry in the winter, so I’m always looking for foundations like this one to add extra hydration.

I have tried the old formula of this foundation and it was too dry for my skin, however the skin glow version of this foundation is perfect for my dry skin. It helps to hydrate and doesn’t stick to my dry patches.

The foundation can be easily buildable, depending on the look you’re going for. If I am looking for a healthy, dewy look I use my beauty blender. If I am looking for a more full coverage look, I use my flat foundation brush to stipple on the product.

Either way it is applied it sinks right into my skin without siting on to of my skin like some foundations. It minimizes the appearance of pores and makes my complexion look healthy and plump. I live in a Florida where it gets humid and warm even during the winter months.

This foundation does stand up against the heat, even without setting with a powder! No need to reapply. The foundation could easily be worn for several hours without breaking up or melting off. Also, I really appreciate the added sunscreen to help protect my skin from the Florida UV rays.

I would serenity recommend this product to friend and family. Dior did such a good job with this foundation because it makes your skin look like yours, just better. The packaging is also very luxe and minimalist looking.

Sustainable package is important to me, so the bottle being made from recycled materials, and that you are able to recycle the bottle itself is an added bonus I will repurchase this foundation when I run out!.

I purchased this [brand:koh-gen-do] moisture foundation after watching an amazing review on youtube of this foundation and let me tell you – I was not disappointed! I think this is my new favorite foundation.

The only thing I didn’t like was that it came in a tube and didn’t have a pump. I followed the instructions and used 3 pearl sized dots. I applied my face with two dots using a brush and then using a sponge, I went over and covered any necessary spots with the third dot.

I was able to cover all my old acne scars and discoloration. It really was high medium coverage with the first layer but the third really gave me the full coverage that I needed. It doesnt feel sticky or tacky at all but I lightly applied the charlotte tilbury pressed powder over my cheek area where I’m going to apply blush and highlight just to be safe so it doesn’t get all weird with the foundation.

I’ve had dry skin lately so many of my foundations (Especially matte foundations) are just looking awful on me. I was going to pause using foundation for a while or switch to a tinted moisturizer or something until my skin gets more normal but now I don’t have to! I can already see I’ll be reaching for this foundation quite often.

I would recommend this to anyone with normal to dry skin. It doesn’t cling to dry spots, show texture, it doesn’t emphasize my pores, it doesn’t settle into my fine lines, it’s not a completely matte look but not dewy either.

I’m a first time user, bought 2 shades to mix and the match is spot-on. You have to shake very well before using. You don’t need much product with applying so I’m hoping it lasts me a long time. Goes on very well, even without primer.

Feels very lightweight on. Looks so natural and gives a beautiful healthy glow. Seems to last a full day. I have acne-prone skin and it did not make me break out. Overall I’m very happy with it! Only downside is the price may be hard to justify for everyday use.

This product is a gorgeous dewy foundation but I was flabbergasted by how little product you get for the price. It’s not something I could justify purchasing again for that reason though I do really like the foundation.

It gives light to medium coverage and such a pretty natural finish. The color range unfortunately isn’t great, but I managed to find a shade that matched fairly well – had to sample a few shades first however.
