If I write something incredible about this will it increase my chances of winning the drawing? One pound and other reviews are saying it is warmer than 800 fill down. C’mon folks. It is a light bag and the rating means that is the lowest it might be reasonable for some people who are bundled up.

Most people are not going to be comfortable at the temp. I recommend this if you have realistic expectations for what this is.

I got this bag because I get really cold in the shoulder seasons when I am thru hiking. It won’t likely ever be my primary bag, I want to use it to wrap around me when I am not in the tent and layer it with my bag when it’s cold, So far so good, In used it in the house overnight, I have used it outside for Covid visiting.

It is small and light and warm enough…I think it’s going to work, ps it’s plenty tall enough for longer people,.

Extremely light, packs down small, and surprisingly large – I’m 6foot 3 and have no issues fitting comfortably. Have yet to try the snaps to attach the quilt to a sleeping pad, but am sure it would add some extra warmth.

First night using dipped to ~10 degrees Celsius and was still comfortable while wearing a base layer.

(Heartland Tweed Black Canyon) I bought this yarn based on the online description which said it was a 5 OZ. skein and 251 YARDS. It recommended needle size 10 (gauge to have been about 16 stitches in 4 inches).

Instead, the label on the skein read 4 OZ. and 200 YARDS. And recommended needle size on the label was 9 (which was supposed to make 16. 5 stitches in 4 inches). I used the size 9 needle and the gauge was 13.

5 stitches to 4 inches. Clearly, the yarn that was advertised was not the same I picked up (though it had the same label). And, although the yarn was very soft, the “tweed” was not woven in the yarn.

instead much of it sat on top and came off easily. Also, there was a knot in the first few inches of the skein, and the yarn was not consistent in thickness (some was much thinner) Clearly the website description did not reflect the actual yarn — maybe new yarn was created and they did not change the description on the website.

Anyway, very disappointed that I have to start over!.

Beautiful yarn with very true colors that compliment any project. The vibrant tones of this yarn create projects that stand out from yarns with less color depth. I enjoy creating vests, hats, and scarves from the Heartland yarns because the warmth of their colors, plus that slight highlight in the yarn seems to brighten skin tones and hair color of whoever is wearing them.

I recently matched the color of my granddaughter’s eyes with a very cute hat that she adores. It feels like the softest of wools while being a completely versatile machine wash and dry acrylic!.

I’m really liking Lion Brand Heartland yarn for making caps for unhoused members of our community. The yarn has good composition and density; it’s soft but feels like it will hold up well to wearing and washing; I’m having little if any trouble with plies separating; and it isn’t causing my hands stress or pain working with it.

The colors are really nice – good for any gender identity. I hope to get a lot of caps made for our community members!.

After attending a Three Dog Night concert, I was intrigued by some of the commentary of the lead singer. He mentioned the vibe and all-consuming aura and attitude of the Laurel Canyon community during the mid to late 1960’s.

I then found this book written by Los Angeles author who was always reporting on popular culture. This book is fascinating!!! If you are a music lover from the Beatles era and forward, I would highly recommend this book! It not only tells stories of the artists who lived and thrived (musically) in the canyon, the book also does a really good job of incorporating the social activities, the drug culture, the political unrest of the times.

It was a very, very interesting book and quite and easy read. I felt the text gave a great picture of the 1960’s.

Laurel Canyon, the absolute be-all, end-all for 1960s rock and roll neighbourhod. This books delves into the drug-fuelled parties held by Frank Zappa and the Girls Together Outrageously (GTOs), the horrific death of Sharon Tate who was murdered by Charles Manson, the relationships of the beloved folk scene, and how some of America’s most famous rock and folk groups came out of this one community.

Look out for the sweet, sweet tale of the beautiful song Graham Nash wrote for Joni Mitchell during this period. did the folksters really want free love or did they just want ‘two cats in the yard’.

An excellent read. Chocked full of rich details about the formative beginnings of Rock n Roll. Highly recommend.

The print quality of this product is absolute garbage. The common and uncommon foils are so faded they are almost unreadable. For the price of this produce, this issue is totally unacceptable. Wizards of the coast also makes the replacement of cards a very painful process.

I have been playing MTG since the revised set and the card quality has taken a huge dive down in the past 5 years. Based on my experience with sealed products from Wizards this is the last MTG product I will buy until the the card stock, foil curling, and print quality significantly improves.

Never had low quality foils that are curled. Amazing looking cards especially the extended art ones. I also really like the etched foil in this set and I prefer using them as my commander for all my decks to set them apart.

Definitely recommend!!.

There are a lot of good cards in this product, and the shipping speed was phenomenal. Especially when considering the time of year.

I wanted to read up on the legends of Arthur as did my son but I didn’t want anything heavy so these books fit the bill. Only read the first book which I enjoyed but my son motored through them.

My younger child love reading these books. He is already on book 3. We also like the audio aspects of the books which we sometimes play when he is playing.

Will bring the myths and legends of King Arthur to life for young children to enjoy.

When it comes to Draft Vs. Set Booster Box, the choice for collectors is always go for the Set Booster in this case. The face that they still kept the 6 differential booster count (usually 36 packs for draft boosters and 30 for set boosters) is ridiculous.

I can’t just getting this for only 18 packs. This set booster box already burned me once.

My booster boxes were all officially sealed; tight as a drum through -&-through with all the packaging/individual wrapping. Always fun to have a pack opening day, one box even managed a couple of double mythic packs! Lowest price available on the market helps with getting multiple boxes.

Collectors Store ha fantastic. 5* all the way. However, Boulder’s Gate is a pretty bad set. I wouldn’t buy again, even at heavily discounted prices.

I actually purchased this mini towel to have cut down into smaller towels. My wife & I section hike the Appalachian Trail each summer, and I wanted a good small towel/rag to use while hiking. I have & love the full sized Nomadix Original Towel and love it.

I thought a smaller version for use while hiking would be great. I was correct. While I haven’t used it on the AT yet, I have tested the pieces I had made from the Mini Towel and they work great! I made two, cutting & serging it so that one piece has the small hanging strap sewn on the towel and adding a buttonhole to a corner of the other to hang it.

Though the larger one is easier to use, the smaller one is still effective, easier to carry, and lighter (important while hiking long distances). I have used both sizes a both a wash rag and towel. Even the smaller one is sufficient for washing with, wringing out well, and using as a towel, even though I just used it as a wash rag.

I obviously don’t get as dry as using a full sized dry towel, but still does a great job for using on the AT where minimizing weight is critical.

No complaints about the towel. I’d even started using them as my main towel at home. I love the colors, the softness (even after a machine wash) and how quick it dries. I hate the smell of musty towels, and this one never smells off.

But the reason I’m writing this review is- Don’t use it in tall, dry grass! I sat on my towels for about 15 minutes on a hike, and they are struck through with foxgloves. Taking out the fox gloves without snagging the blanket is taking hours, and equivalent to a crochet project.

So unless you want something to do with your hands while you’re watching TV in the evening, I would be cautious about the manufacturer’s claims that you can use this as an outdoor blanket.

I’ve been an avid Nomadix user for about 3 years now. All beach towel sized. I own 4 towels myself and have gifted 4 over the years. You can call me a stan, I don’t mind. I love these towels. I recently started going to a spin class and at the first class, a man turned around, looked at me and said “you’re gonna want to bring a towel next time”.

He was not wrong. But I was PUMPED for a reason to buy the mini towel. I had looked at them for years and now I finally had a (valid) excuse for another Nomadix box at my front door. Let me tell you, when you’re in position 2, doing push-ups during a spin class, the last thing you want is to smash your face into the handlebars because of your ultra sweaty palms.

The mini towel will save you the embarrassment. I can lay it over the handlebars and still get a normal grip with my tiny girl hands. It’s super soft every time and it doesn’t feel wet even after the 35th time wiping your face and neck because the darn thing is so absorbent and dries so fast.

Honestly, I see so many more uses for this towel. We’ve got a dog and a lake house, you can do the math there. Hiking and camping trips, paddle boarding (when I don’t fall off), and definitely for when I’m cross country skiing this winter.

I’ll be back for more mini towels for the holiday season coming up! Hope my family and friends are ready!.

I bought Showdown: Legends of Wrestling for the original XBox to play on my XBox 360. Despite bad reviews that I had seen on the past, this game is a lot of fun to play. There are occasional glitches, but the game is from 2004 and intended for the original XBox, so I didn’t expect a complete masterpiece.

In my opinion, this game is better than the new WWE Legends of WrestleMania game with a similar theme. The best part is that you are able to utilize legends not featured in the current WWE games that fans really want to see like Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, and Macho Man Randy Savage.

My only true complaint with the game is the Create A Legend mode should be better, even for a 2004 game. The actual gameplay is the fun part as the controls are easy to master, and usually work properly about 90 to 95% of the time.

There are occassional issues with the reversals and submission ground holds (leg locks, chin locks, etc. ) Sometimes, it seems like you can’t do a submission every time, but I think it has more to do with how worn down your opponent is, rather than a glitch with the controls.

Anyway, I am ranking this game as excellent, because I believe that every serious wrestling fan should add this to their collection for nostalgia purposes, if nothing else.

I’ve played almost every wrestling game out there and this one is ok but doesn’t impress. I’ve played through the entire game, and I wouldn’t say I’d play through it again. (This Xbox version is backwards compatible with Xbox 360.

) The roster of wrestling legends is very impressive with wrestling’s all time greats that almost any old-school (or newer) wrestling fan would love. The CAW mode is OK but not that great by any means.

With limited options for creating your wrestler. The controls seem very stiff and it’s hard to pull off a move that you want. The commentary is annoying & repeatitive (like most wrestling games. ). It’s an average game.

Might be fun for the nostaligic factor of seeing the legends. It’s real cheap to buy too. If you like wrestling then I’d give this a shot.

the game is good you cant compare to todays games but they are way more advanced but for its time it is pretty cool there are 4 different attires for each superstar which is pretty cool and you can create different ones for each character the story mode is ok as well.

you wrestle from the 70 and go up to modern which is good but could be better. now some things that hurt the game are the graphics even for a game around this time the graphics are terrible any of the smackdown vs raw they are terrible even compare to the original smackdowns that is my review of this game i give it 4/5 stars.

The western united states is now home to the republic. Which is at war with it’s neighbors. 15 year old June is born into a elite family. She is groomed for military success. 15 year old day is born in the streets and a wanted criminal.

He’s not as bad as he may seem though. June’s brother metias dies and she crosses paths with day. Great characters,world 🌎 building ,dialogue and descriptions.

I found Legend to be very enjoyable, but it didn’t blow me away. I found the plot to be a bit boring at first, so it took me a while to get interested in the book. The pace did eventually pick up, though, and I found myself not wanting to put the book down.

By the end, I was completely hooked. I also thought the world that Marie Lu created was really interesting, but I wish she had provided more history about how it came to be. The story takes place in our future, and the Eastern and Western United States are at war.

We don’t get to learn how the United States ended up that way, though, and I think that would have been an interesting story. I really enjoyed the characters of Day and June, as well as the supporting cast of characters.

It took me a while to get invested, but I eventually grew to really care for them and their story. Something that I particularly appreciated was the way the romance was handled. June and Day definitely became enamored with one another, but I didn’t feel like there was any instalove at all.

The romance was developed well and was relatively believable. And there wasn’t a love triangle! Yay! I am not a huge fan of romance, so the way this one was handled made it much more enjoyable for me.

My biggest gripe about Legend was how easy the plot was at times. The characters would encounter clues and then immediately figure them out without any trouble. Everything was a bit too convenient and predictable.

The book wasn’t incredibly long, so I feel like there was room for a little extra development within the plot. Even a paragraph here and there with the characters trying to interpret the clues could have made a big difference.

While I enjoyed the story, every time the characters figured out a clue immediately, I had to roll my eyes a bit.

Legend is the first book in a trilogy by Marie Lu. This trilogy follows the story of two main characters: June and Day. June was raised in a rich background by her older brother Metias who is tragically killed at the beginning of the story.

She is taken out of military school early in order to track down his killer. Day was born in a poorer setting and is the Republic’s most well-known criminal. He is accused of the death of Metias after his escape during a daring mission to find a cure for the plague his little brother is fighting.

Legend follows these two characters as they begin their journey- crossing paths and interacting with each other. You’ll have to read the book in order to see what happens.

If you are buying to draft, it’s a really fun set. They also brought back some great commander cards, (like blade of selves!). But if you are buying the box for value, you will likely be disappointed.

Had a ton of fun either way.

I don’t know about the long-term value of any individual cards in this set, but frankly, I don’t much care. This set has been a lot of fun to draft. I’ll probably pick up another box for that reason alone if the prices fall a bit further.

I love the second release in the commander series. Cards that have multi players in mind are great! We always have fun playing it and I may get more.

The Uncharted series needs no introduction, but for those who are not familiar with it – This action adventure series is top quality. The story, character arc, historical places visited/used to help create this world throughout the series are just plain fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the three games in the collection, – the graphics got a nice boost, mechanics can be a bit of a pain in the first Uncharted (especially if you are used to Uncharted 4, or other 7th gen games) That really was the only downside, and it got better as the game get along.

TLDR. Worth it if you like Action/Adventure. Even if you have already on PS3. Less.

Game look’s phenomenal on PS5. Looks like a brand new game not a remaster imo. The FPS is smooth and i don’t even have a new/decent monitor. I can only imagine what it’ll look like on a 4K 120hz monitor.

I was able to transfer all my PS4 data (story, collectibles) onto my PS5 with no issues. Even tho it looks and feels great Id recommend getting this on sale if you’re patient unless you’re a die hard fan of Uncharted.

Overall great game.

The only complaints people will have is spending a lot of money on a remaster of a game. Try to wait for it to go on sale, but the game is worth $50 for this ps5 version easily. It’s one of the best game franchises out there.

If you live a good story and adventure and some puzzle solving and just discovery you will enjoy this one. Also has fun combat but it’s more about the latter. It’s like getting lost in another world.
