20 Best Led Spectrum For Veg (2023 Updated)

This is the best & easiest-to-use 450W grow light with on/off timer I found to use in a 48″ x 24″ grow tent for my herb garden. Specs: 90 LED lights arranged in 3 groups of 5×6 Outputs 12 different light waves for full light spectrum good for all plant stages including seedlings/growing/veg/flower/fruit/etc.

120V A/C indoor use, draws about 210W when lights are on 100% brightness Has power output plug so you can daisy chain these together, but the timer on 1 unit doesn’t control other units plugged into it.

450W equivalent output compared to bulb or halogen lights Dimable from 100% down to 0% in 1% increments 2x 120mm fans on top and plenty of vent holes on all sides. Has 2 groups of light waves (VEG & BLOOM) and each group is independently dimable but both groups are controlled with the 1 timer so both groups must turn on and off together and can’t be turned on/off independently of each other.

It would be nice if they just made each group controlled with their own timer but unfortunately that’s not the case. yet. Includes 4x nylon coated steel cables with loop on one end and spring clip on other end for hanging the light.

They are each about 16″ overall length. This is a very easy-to-setup and use grow light that works for growing just about any plant at any stage of it’s life from seed to fully-grown. I got it because I didn’t want to buy a grow light along with a timer to control it along with a separate fan to cool it along with a power supply that adjusted to wattage.

This unit can be dimmed in 1% increments from 100% down to 0% for both light groups, it has cooling fans built in, and it’s built-in timer can be set to turn on once and off once per day, every day, like an alarm on your smartphone.

The LEDs are arrainged in 3 rectangular areas as you can see from the pics. The light is wide enough to perfectly cover a 30″ x 18″ grow tent. I have since switched to a 48″ x 24″ grow tent now and it still works fine for my herb garden but for perfect coverage I think using two 300W lights might give you a little more even coverage even though I haven’t noticed any of my herbs wanting to point inward instead of growing straight up so for me this light works perfectly well.

You can daisy chain multiple Viparspectra lights together, even if the other ones are not the same model as this one or do not have timer function. Unfortunately the timer on each light does not control any functions on any other lights you daisy chain from it, the daisy chain only allows power to be run in series to save you from running individual extension cords or taking up moreoutlets if you run a bunch of these lights.

For example you can daisy chain this light along with a 300W non-timer light, and 600W non-timer light together but the timer on this only controls this light’s on/off capabilities. The other 2 lights daisy chained to this will just stay on 100% of the time unless you have a separate control for them.

If you want a bunch of daisy chained lights to all turn on and off together then every model light must be the version with timer built-in like this one. The light output of this LED light is approx equivalent to a 450W halogen light but the LEDs are much more efficient which is why this light only draws about 210W at 100% brightness, and is also why it barely gets luke warm when it’s on.

I have been running my light at 40% power all day and it’s not even warm, it feels like it’s room temperature. The 2x 120mm fans on top of this unit produce some noise which most people don’t know how to measure and their interpretation of “loud” or “quiet” is hugely skewed because I see some reviews saying this unit “is so quiet” and others say “it’s very loud” but not everyone has perfect hearing so loud to me with great hearing could actually be silent to someone with very poor hearing.

Noise is measured in decibels (dB) and things such as a light breeze or breathing which can barely be heard is about 5-10dB, the average compuer fan is about 25-30dB, a conversation in a nice restaurant with low music in the background is about 50dB.

This unit sounds to me like it’s about 30-35dB, or slightly louder than the average computer fan running at 100% speed. Since it’s in the grow tent most of the noise is trapped inside so it sounds like about 15dB from the outside of the grow tent when it’s closed.

Controlling the VEG and BLOOM light groups independently is nice because you can control the different wavelengths your plant needs at different stages of it’s growth very accurately with this light.

I couldn’t find any specs on which of the 12 wavelengths are actually controlled by each setting though. The timer and remote are very handy because this light can be mounted out-of-reach and still be fully controlled with the remote.

So i write my first recension in my life, we’ll see. I’m not the kind of man who thinks in the past was all better, but in the future?, i don’t think all will be better. It always two faces. Now to the LED-Board.

I’ve got good onions and garlic grown with the Mars Hydro 2 900W. That Board is really good for 90cm tent, till today! The average was all the time really satisfactioned. But when you think it over, 10years go by, it must be made something new inventions in led technics, otherwhile it where stupid wasted time (or making much money).

So i collect informations at web, and i’ve seen, the time is ready for a new age of LED Boards. To many people said it’s amazing what’s invited already. And the Mars Hydro ST3000 is the right one for my 120cm tent, and my purse.

It’s like from dark to the light, can’t believe it. It’s totally quite, and the temperature is exactly nice warm over 20degrees. Now i don’t waste any power, it’s much better than the Hydro2 for the same power what would be putting out.

But you as a customer can use all the Hydro LED’s cheap and good at all, also everyone needs a second lamp, because of murphy’s law. I can’t send photos because no one want’s to see tomatoes at work! I’m the dude, believe me.

Really thanks to Mars Hydro, we stay tuned. And greest from my wife, she got all older lamps for growing cucumber!.

I have been putting off buying led lights for a long time, because the first one I bought 10-years ago, a Flying Saucer put off this ghastly pink light that hurt your eyes to look at it, so I went back to using a HPS.

This Viparspectra, is only slightly pink so you can actually work on your plants without the special glass’s. From what I’ve seen on Youtube more white LED’s are the future. My second concern was do they grew plants as fast as the HID lamps! A couple of years ago I bought this house with two acres of land, where they cut down almost every tree on the land.

Why people do this is beyond my understanding, so I’m in the process of turning it back into woodlands. I live next to a federal game preserve and wildlife abounds, so everything I plant if for the animals! This is the second one of these lights I’ve bought.

I bought one last October, and started some apple, cherry, maple, and oaks from seed keeping the light on 24/7, and even with trimming the trees several times, by march I had some nice bushy 4 foot trees, ready to plant in the spring.

Needless to say I’m impressed. Even though these lights are nowhere, near as bright as HID’s every plant I’ve grown under them so far seem to grow just as fast, and are more compact then under the HID’s with way less heat, soI bought another one for bushes, and flowers.

I can’t give them a 5 star because I haven’t had them long enough to judge how long they will last; but at the price it’s a great way to try LED’s!.

I use these lights to grow phytoplankton for the oyster farm deep inside my masters subteranean volcano lair and they work great! Lots of little phytoplanktons means lots of happy oysters which means a very satisfied evil genius! Bwahahahaha!.

Thats how Im using it. Works well. Decent build quality for what it is. 20 gal nano tank.

It puts off quite a bit of artificiall light for such a small compact ffixture for my plants. Perfect. Glad I bought them.

These are a look at a true performance light I have seen that lights will be in the near future. Great system,no different than any AC Infinities products. As we grow older and wearable parts keep wearing! The circle of a growers life? If your just starting out,,,great products and for every growing lights,tents,and anything you have seen! We grow inside,I love the bag appeal on our product.

When I make with our old lights are still a more precision developed lights. This as I mentioned before,,every product AC Infinity has created or just made better you or friends will find these on the AC Infinity web site.

Not 1 plant has stretched that began under this S22 light; both tents are set at same heights, intensities, and maintained in corresponding environments. Plants moved under the S22 that stretched under the TS1000 have stood up, ceased stretching, and are LOVING this light! AC Infinity has the BEST customer service by far, so I feel great giving them my money; I cannot wait to buy their upcoming products!! Thank You AC Infinity!.

The plants are thriving!! A great hanger setup on the ionboard, much better than others. I had the light installed in a few minutes, installing solo. AC infinity has my vote for great and best grow tent equipment.

It will keep your plant alive in winter, if you keep it within a few inches, but don’t expect to use this as a primary source of light and get new growth. So far all of these I’ve tried perform very poorly, no leaves turning, no new growth, no light stress on a succulent.

I’ve tried them on many plants, even low light pothos and philos aren’t happy with them. Stick to CFL spiral 20 watt or greater 5000k-6500k (kelvin) if you want good new growth on plants in an e26 standard base.

A fluorescent tube is good. This will mostly keep them alive or supplement good window light. CFL spirals will use more electricity (I prefer 23w for good bright coverage) and currently run $4-5 per bulb.

Not as good for the environment, but a 9w that doesn’t do much is kinda just 9w wasted if you are expecting growth. I’ve had better luck with LED panels and LED with uv/ir, but these LED “grow lights” I won’t buy again.

It worked really good and it’s really bright white light lit up my room and I liked how bright it was but when I moved I was taking out the bulb and the twist in part stayed in the lamp. It broke. It worked really good before it broke.

Growing some herbs indoors to keep the isolation covid/winter blues away. Followed recommended instructions on the back of the package regarding seedlings (about 8″ above, at least 14 hrs light) along with covering the pots with plastic wrap/film to keep soil moist during germination process.

All the seeds sprouted around or under 5 days (twice as fast)! So far so good, will have to wait and see how well the seedlings grow.

My husband needed his light cart back to start seeds for the garden, so I needed an alternative for my rosemary, thyme, chives, etc. We have cats so the plants have a better survival rate in our basement.

At first I wasn’t sure if this was going to work. The color of the light is much different than our full spectrum bulbs. Also the light cast makes the plants to look brownIsh. But my plants are so happy! I dare say they are happier than they were using my husband $200 grow light/cart.

This is a great buy that works well.

These things are pretty neat. The flex arms are perfect and hold their position well, though time will tell if that stays true. The lights are a bit weird, with the blue/red, and make the room look strange.

I wish it was just white. They are bright, however. The timer is okay, but only allows 3/6/12 hour settings, and you can’t pick the start time for them. Meaning, you press 6 hours, and 6 hours is then locked in to start at the moment you set it.

Some more functionality in the timer would be nice. However, in an apartment with no windows, these things are keeping my plants looking amazing through the winter, and I do not regret buying them. Upgrade the timer by just a bit, and it becomes a solid 5 star product.

Have recommended them to friends and family already.

It’s a small package with well wrapped up long series of light. Mainly what I liked there most it being LED and that you can definitely design and shape it like you want to. Easy to fold/roll and put it away.

Light is warm in color and not too bright too. I’d say it’s just right. Not the LED BRIGHT light but makes the cut for LED clarity. Just hoping for long lasting product as they don’t come cheap!.

Absolutely love these lights wrapped in our egg chair! The product works great, the lights are very bright. The wire is sturdy and the plug is very good quality. I was really surprised at how much detail was taken to make sure it’s water proof for outdoor use! Will be buying more next year for the pergola.

the lights were very bright, and I liked the choice of flashing patterns on the remote control. I received comments from neighbors about the great lights. Obviously it was easy to roll the string back up and store.

I am dumping my boxes of old lights and ordering more of these for next year!.

SF2000 made in China, I’m not impressed. The other lights that look like it. I’m sure are just as good. My 2 star review reflects only from my ownership of high quality reef aquarium lights. The technology spider farmer puts in to these lights is next to nothing.

I feel like if I handle this thing regularly it will break. The stupid hoist string idea just seems dumb so much extra string what the heck do I do with the rat nest?the power cord is thicker than one of my dewalt drills.

I order the sf2000 kit over a week ago and I’m still waiting. spider farmer still hasn’t processed my order and still hasn’t shipped it. I was extremely excited for this product as it’s my first grow.

The product looked good and the company had strong reviews. But not everything is as it seems. Like I said still haven’t got it. I will be looking to cancel my order and going with another company. Hopefully y’all have better experience then me.

But for me its 0 stars cause I never got the product. Spider farmer please fix your customer service. And shipping problems. Thanks.

I purchased a SF 4000 on Oct. 20th and my light was delivered on Oct. 26th. Oct. 27th UPS delivered a second light. To my surprise after checking credit card statement, I was charged for another light the day after my purchase.

This is very unsettling that this could happen with this Company’s Website and their ability to protect customers payment info. 24hrs or so after contacting the company to make them aware as to what’s going on, they say I have to pay shipping costs to return because there is no defect in the light itself.

I did not order this light a second time, but I have to pay to ship it back or be out the $500 for this light I do not need nor have no room for. Website will not communicate back with me about giving me a return address for this light and issue a refund to fix this problem.

I’ll never use this company again and would advise others to use at their own risk. So the free shipping I recieved on my original order, now looks negated after having to pay shipping fees to send back a light I did not order twice.

🤦‍♂️ I should have just used Mars Hydro again. Their customer service is on point and very helpful. Trying to save a Buck $ has now cost me more. Plus this is a China owned company. Even more unsettling about how loose they obviously are with customers payment info.

And the first light that was delivered, had 3 loose screws in the box. After inspecting the ballasts I notice the 3 small screws were not even screwed in during assembly. They were just thrown loosely down in the box.

I did install them where they should have been installed before delivery. And there was no ratcheting ropes with hardware to hang the light. I had to go to Lowe’s and buy 2! 🤦‍♂️ I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Do Not use or Use at a High Risk.

Purchased a competitors light in January for significantly more money. This light which comes with a long power cord an excellent mini controller that can be mounted externally along with a ballast/driver that can also be detached (useful to keep heat away from grow area), and great mounting gear completely surpassed all of my expectations.

It is Extremely bright at its highest setting and significantly bright at its lowest setting ,the color of the light itself is very natural in appearance with a radiance that can be felt by passing ones hand under.

After sampling Spiderfarmer brand and HLG and a few others i assure you no one else produces a similar light of such quality (beautifully constructed with sensible placement of wires and rigging gear)complete with wonderful automation features for anything close to the price of this amazing grow light (cannot stress enough that its low price tag is a Bonus only and not a caviatt there is _NOTHING_low quality about this light).

Further the company cares about customer experience and its representatives are polite and knowledgeable. Have also ordered Fans and Controllers to accompany these lights. AC Infinity you have this customers complete and total loyalty and as an Electrician for the past 20 years i have never seen more light output per watt than this fixture.

I started my grow with a AC Infinity 2×3 tent with a AC Infinity 6in inline, AC Infinity Ionboard S22, AC Infinity controller 69. With the full intentions to upgrade to two Iongrid T22 when released, which i did!.

The T22 is definitely brighter than the S22 which the T22 has more wattage but the only complaint i have is the fact i have to use two of my four UIS ports on my controller 69 to run both lights on the same light cycle! Ac infinity should develop a usb c splitter that will be safe for the lights to be connected and controlled under one UIS port on my controller 69.

Two reasons i havent just bought a splitter is be cause I’m afraid it could cause some type of unknown shortage in the light board! The honest other reason is i have literally everything AC Infinity even my pots and shear! So if you could AC Infinity develop a safe usb c splitter for the lights that would be awesome because i would love to conjoin all of three lights and be able to run them on one port!.

I never bought a light for growing always regular light bulbs. Since getting this system I have seen significant changes in my grow. I like how it has the time and can set it how you like. It’s light weight and fills a tent all around.

It don’t get really hot but is super bright! I also think it’s cool that I can connect other lights together.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this light to start a small vegetable farm in my guest bedroom since that won’t be used with COVID-19 going on. With the summer heat, and winter frosts lots of crops can only be grown outdoors during certain seasons.

Now with this light I have lettuce, kale, microgreens, potatoes, wheat grass, and carrots EXPLODING. Some plants I have under one of those $100 blue/red lights. The plants under this light are growing way faster and look way healthier! Definitely going to buy the SH2000 model next and attempt some indoor watermelon! Literally the best light on amazon, couldn’t be happier so far.

But just be warned I’ve only owned this light for a month so it’s still possible I’ll find an issue later on. but so far its AMAZING.

IšverstiShow in original languageI got two of these lights for starting vegetable seedlings and they have worked really well. My plants are healthy, green and not pale and leggy. The Spider Farmer lights have a bright white color that looks just like bright sunshine, and when I say bright, I mean BRIGHT.

I have them on a timer and while the weather recently has been dark and cloudy, every morning when the lights click on it is like a bit of sunrise coming through the doorway. One of the things I like is that these lights are completely silent — no cooling fan, no power supply whine, just bright light where I need it.

The only down side is that they are a little pricey, but if you can afford them and if you plan on using them for a long time they are well worth the cost. I would buy them again. Good job,.

IšverstiShow in original languageNothing to dislike! Is it a HLG? No. Is it a light comparable to a Quantum Board in every way except price? Precisely! Went through my last grow as a test of all my equipment and to work out any issues in my hydro setup.

I changed pretty much everything up at one point or another “Except” for this light. So, after pulling almost 2g per watt dry on harvest i just bought 2 more! Could have went for the 2000 or 4000 but I wanted as much control over the individual panel location as possible and I could not be happier! Pull the trigger on one of these bad boys for they do not disappoint.

And to all you chronic complainers squawking the location of the dimmer potentiometer? Go spend twice as much on a high end HLG QB and guess what? Same pot,same spot.

Great Light with high PAR output I rate the light 4 stars out of 5 only because they have to keep overhead low and prices down to keep a lock on the bottom tier lights. If you will note they will give no info or insight on the overall CCT “color” of the light overall.

These are great to get the job done for a cheaper price. I only wish they would start a panel light series with more IR and addition of UVB diodes would be great to make the lights better for flower than veg.

The only downfall to these lights. Due to the lack of UVA/B diodes and running the minimal amount of Red and IR extends the plants life cycle and makes it take longer to finish. Other than this, what keeps the price down, they’re really unbeatable.

Just don’t try to get than cct report ? Maybe it’s too far from optimal 3500k to mention. Or maybe R&D is slipping? either way buy, learn, practice and probably move on unless they start a new series.

I’m crossing my fingers and been asking them as well.

I have had several LEDs and Im really liking the full spectrum white lighting thats out. I also like the pinks. Hmm. I however went with a bar type setup for uniformity and because I didnt like the rectangular shape of the xs/p series 2500/4000 lights.

Had they been squared I probably would have stuck with them, but Im definitely not upset with the competition. There are some really good lights out there and I had to do a lot of research. great starter/veg light.

I still use it for vegetative gardening, but I use my Ze510(which is a steal) and supplemental lighting for fruiting. Amazing veg light. Good fruiting light. Would I buy it again – no. Would I recommend on a budget – absolutely.

Would I say save up or aim higher – honestly – most certainly. Im an honest type. some stiff competition out there with great rates and Love the friggin heat sink on this thing though. Great value item.

The top-line just isnt there on the higher end items compared to others.

Compared to other 2000W grow lights, this light had more LEDS than all the other lights I looked at. It has a dimmer knob so you can give the exact amount of full spectrum light to your plants. Comes with easily adjustable hangers.

My plants love the color of light that this grow light puts out. They have grown more in the first week since I’ve been using it than in two weeks of prior growth with my other light of the same wattage.

Worth the money!!!.

Nice size and light weight. One of mine stopped working in first week they quickly gave me a return shipping label and have a new one on the way. I haven’t received it yet.

I liked the two I previously purchased for Grow Tent use, so I picked up a spare. These fixtures run relatively cool and use very little power. The Light put out has a good multi spectrum and has not burnt my seedlings.

Also, they have a 3 Year Warranty. I’m sure I will be picking up a few more in the future.

Let me first say that this was not my first tent purchase, and probably wont be my last. I only purchased this tent for solo autoflower runs. While the TS600 and tent combo in my opinion was a steal, my only gripe about this tent was the lack of wire holes on the bottom portion of the tent.

This leaves cords dangling all over the place due to the fact that there is only one hole for cords. It also forces you to get equipment with long cords, otherwise you are forced to use extension cables inside the tent which isnt exactly a good idea in a humid environment.

For the money, you cant beat it. But I would caution the purchase due to the limited amount of holes to run cords through.

Really a great value. One note I would add, when assembling, the directions have you put the frame together and fit tent around it, you have to leave the front two poles unattached until you have the tent pulled up over the frame because the tent does not fully unzip to fit up over the framing.

Other than that, this is a breeze to get together and I ordered a second one. I placed a blooming plant in it the day I received and recently harvested. I didn’t think it was going to produce due to having to battle outside weather conditions and pests.

All conditions can be controlled with this product for a great grow, just research what you have to give your plant to achieve success. There’s more to it than I ever thought. Thank you for a great value and great product!.

Don’t underestimate the power of the MarsHydro TS600. It’s a beautiful light that works amazingly for all stages of plant growth. This light impressed me so much I had to buy another.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE these lights! I have been SAVING houseplants and perennials that friends have been trying to kill. I live at 8600 ft altitude in Colorado. I placed these lights over the plants and they are going WILD!!! All my windows face NORTH so I do not have a lot of sunlight and I have managed to save two tropicals.

The only (FUNNY!!) thing is that three of these lights are in the kitchen area and I have to buy very UNRIPE tomatoes as the lights cause the tomatoes to ripen quickly.

I’m growing some of my African violets and streptocarpus under these LED bulbs this winter in my living room. The base of these bulbs conveniently fits in any desk lamps appropriate for one’s decor that can be easily found in a big box store.

So the entire setup, pleasing to the eye, also doesn’t take up as much room as that from a regular T5 bulb. My lamps are connected to a timer that turns them on and off everyday without any work on my part.

I can adjust the distance between the light bulbs and the plants by adjusting the swing arms of the lamps without needing to worry about scorching the leaves, because these bulbs do NOT generate any heat.

Not only is my plants’ foliage growing very well, the bloom production has been non-stop. I highly recommend these bulbs to anyone who likes indoor gardening – they are compact, easy to use, and provide so much flexibility!.

I like the wide-angle coverage of this spotlight, which I’ve purchased before and still use. Tall plants such as Epiphyllum orchid cactus, tall Angle-wing Begonias, Draceanas, and orchids with tall flower spikes seem to benefit from the extra light in the winter-time when there’s not enough windows for the 100+ plants in my collection, or when there is not enough room under the LED and T-5 plant stands.

I use it as a supplement to my other lighting.

I received my grow light and I was eager to use it however, there was not enough screws to attach the hanger. So disappointed. It looks like the grow light would serve its purpose though.

Con about this light is it should have a timing device built in it. Pros is it is of nice size ,the light is low profile can be adjusted very easy , works like it should he plants respond well to the light and the LEDS fixture has almost no heat coming off it.

as i unboxed the ts 3000w, there was no assembly instructions. when i tried to assemble it after a couple you tube tutorials, i discovered that the driver layout was ok but the mounting bracket fo the dimmer was intalled where there is no way to attach the dimmer housing with out cutting part of it off.

as this was only the first of 5 units i purchased, im hoping for the best in not experiencing similar issues.

The lights arrived very quickly after I ordered them and setup was a breeze. I don’t know if I’m imagining it or not, but my plants look even better after only one day of being under these lights. So glad I made this purchase! Thank you!.

Une bonne lampe de croissance qui n’est pas trop dispendieuse. Assez facile à installer, mais attention, si vos lampes sont de lots de production différents, les trous pour les vis ne seront pas tous à la même place! La lumière est très blanche sans être super éblouissanteni désagréable aux yeux, donc convenable dans les pièces à plusieurs fonctions.

Le cordon électrique a une bonne longueur, donc donne de la flexibilité pour l’installation. N’ayant pas de photomètre, je ne peux pas confirmer le taux de luminosité, mais je ne pense pas que c’est aussi puissant qu’indiqué sur l’emballage: en tout cas, le rayon de luminosité n’est pas aussi large qu’indiqué 2″x2″.

ce n’est pas un problème pour la plupart des plantes d’intérieur, qui en générale n’ont besoin qu’un supplément de lumière. Par contre, pour les semis, il faut s’assurer de les placer juste en-dessous de la lampe, au-delà de 15cm de chaque côté de la lampe, les semis s’étiolent.

Puisque les lampes ne sont pas super chères, le problème peut être réglé en mettant 2 lampes côte à côte pour les étagères de plus de 30cm de largeur.

C’est excellent pour commencer ses semis. Les plantes sont plus fortes, plus trapues Ils ne gaspillent pas leur énergie en cherchant de la lumière.

I live in the mountains and tried to grow some “Tomato” plants outside but because of the small amount of light, they came out thin and scrawny. Took about three months to get where I have gotten in a month with the LED light.

Actually I have surpassed that already. WAY BUSHIER, STRONG, HEALTHY! Don’t underestimate how big your tomato plants are going to get. One , Five gal pot per plant, minimum. I already underestimated them and had to transplant.

Fertilizer and seeds also play an important role but I am amazed by the low energy output and the quality of this product. The plants REALLY ARE DRAWN TO THE LIGHT! When I transplanted to bigger pots I found these huge roots! Really a safe light that hardly uses any energy or makes any noise, yet puts out enough heat to keep the plants warm.

It has been a month and 1/2, I just fertilized them and they are taking off! I think you have to live somewhere else to get 18 hrs of real sunlight. Growing in my closet with side mirrors, mylar, and the mirrored doors reversed.

The reflected light really helps. Best purchase I ever made! My friend told me to go L. E. D. Wish I would have done it sooner. I am going to really enjoy those tomatoes!!.

I’ve been using this light for a month. Also using 400w MH. Plants do respond fairly well. Very solid and well built. Bright light and quiet, however, you can get yourself a pretty efficient MH/HPS set-up for the same $ or less that does a better job pumping growth.

I will transition this to use for younger start-ups. In all it’s a good LED.

We are so happy with these lights that we recently purchased our 3rd Vipar Spectra light. The first one purchased just about a year ago. Our plants love them, they haven’t increased our light bill very noticably and they run so cool that we haven’t had to add additional exhaust fans to move the air.

We only run the respective spectrum depending on if the plants are in veg/bloom, very nice to have the option to choose your spectrum & reduce both the energy required to run it & temps in your grow area.

I highly recommend these lights to anyone from novice to experts. The only additional thing you need is a grounded outlet timer.

I have never attempted to use grow lights so I had to do some research to figure out which color lights do what.

I have limited natural light in my home based on where the sun rises and sets and how my house is configured. I like that this has not only an adjustable timer but that I can also choose the between three light colors which all do different things.

The flexible arms make it easy to use this light for multiple plants and the clip or base option makes it easy to setup no matter how much or how little space you have. I’ll be interested to see if this will help me keep my plants alive.

You can also move it around easily because it can clip onto anything you want and it also is a stand. I have really enjoyed being able to move it around from different plants and vegetation that I am growing.

It has blue lights for vegetation growth and red lights for flowering growth. It also comes with a mounting bracket if you would like it to be stationary. This is a great replacement for any of the areas in your house that lack natural sunlight.

So I was very happy to receive and try this product. My house has limited windows, so I get hardly any light in many rooms for plant growing. This product was easy to set up and start. Plus the three separate lights make it easy to use it over several plants at a time.

The two best features are the adjustable timer and the color selection options. A very useful product that can be used year after year. I recommend it.

i tried some ebay and amazon junk and then tested the power with a watt stopper and par meter and always half. This one drew 487watts and 2. 67 umol per watt. That is higher than advertised and the cannabis shows it.

Much thicker and heavier than the cheap lights. Any light can grow but these grow well. the bomb!.
