20 Best Leather Sneakers For Men (2023 Updated)

I am a nike fan through and through. From Cortez to Pegasus, almost all my non-dress shoes are nike, so i really do not like writing a negative review First off, these were a half-size too big in length.

at that half-size too big, they were very narrow. I wear a 9. 5 in the Nike Free RN, Nike Pegasus, and Nike Cortez. So, I ordered a 9. 5. they were slightly narrow on the width, and at least a half size too long.

Not to mention the overall cushion seems to be lacking. All this in mind I am returning them. I would try to get them in another size, but they are no longer available. i made this purchase with two other items, and another item was not available after ordering.

so i got one of three items i ordered to work. thanks for socks.

I first purchased the Vegas style also in 8W Womens. I have pudgy, small feet with a high instep. Because the shoe’s tongue was sewn to the upper, there was no stretch or room to give so my foot could fit in.

Customer service was STELLAR, & helped me choose this shoe – one of only 2 styles where the tongue is not attached – in exchange for the first pair (+ a little $ difference). These shoes fit – with a lot of trouble to get them on.

They were too tight in the instep, though. I wanted to give them a chance to stretch like leather shoes will do over time, but because I spent a decent (but fair!) amount of money on them, I couldn’t take the chance on hoping they would fit better over time.

So I sadly had to send them back. And still customer service was helpful & pleasant! One other (& main!) reason I really wanted to like these shoes is that you should be able to slide them on without bending over or fighting to get them on your feet.

That just didn’t happen for me. I have MS, & putting on socks & shoes is extremely hard for me to do. You can imagine how I wanted to like these shoes! Well, at least I can say I tried these shoes. Thank you, Kizik, for tolerating my failed attempt.

I miss the Boston model. I bought these because the someone at kizik sent me a discount code through a mutual friend and I thought that was a really cool gesture. I’m in sales so I recognize professionalism and appreciated it.

Honest feedback about the Vegas model: These shoes are ok, but I don’t like that they have laces and the tongue slides down and gets bunched up when I slide my foot in, so I end up having to lift my leg or sit down to pull the tongue back up.

That sort of defeats the purpose of having step-ins. I didn’t have that issue with the bostons. It seems like these are made of cheaper quality material than the bostons. The thick sole is borderline comedic.

But they’re ok shoes and people tend to comment positively when I wear them. In my opinion OLuKai is making better looking shoes of higher quality for comparable pricing. That’s my $. 02. I honestly would buy two pairs of bostons today if they were still made! That was one of my favorite shoes ever.

Actually, these shoes were disappointing relative the the 3 other pairs of Kiziks I have. The do not slip on with the same ease and the tongue gets bunched up at its base. So I do have to sit down and pull the tongue out and straighten out the heal.

I got these as I needed a pair of casual leather shoes but for a geezer like me, these are a bit glaring with the bright white soles. I have no idea why you stopped making a variety of leather shoes.

Some time ago, I mentioned that you should make boating shoes. They would sell great or you could team up with Seabago or one of the other boat shoe makes. The other suggestion would be bedroom slippers.

I love my Uggs but I do have to pull out the backs and cannot just step into them.

I’ve been eyeing Greats for a while and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered them recently for my trip to Europe, aka lots of walking. I am normally a size 8, and ordered size 8 and 8. 5 just so I could have a point of comparison on size.

For context, I believe Greats shifted their production from Italy to Portugal in the last year to keep up with rising costs and demand, but I was crossing my fingers for an Italy-made shoe. To my surprise, the size 8 that showed up was their newer model made in Portugal, and the 8.

5 was the older model made in Italy. I was lucky enough to get a side by side comparison of the two styles and it was clear that the shoe made in Italy was superior in quality. The stitching was more even and clean, and the side of the shoe is seamless (the Portugal shoe has a seam edge that sticks out as part of the design).

The leather on the Italy shoe felt thicker and stiffer in comparison to the Portugal model, whose leather felt softer out of the box and a bit thinner. The Portugal shoe I felt would have been comfortable out of the box, but the Italy shoe, which I kept, I had to break in for about a week to soften the leather.

Since the leather is stiffer on the Italy shoe, sizing up half a size to 8. 5 was actually perfect, but the Portugal shoe definitely fit true to size. Overall, I definitely recommend this shoe and I loved the Italy-made pair I receive and ultimately kept that one, but I think if I were to buy another pair I would try to find another Italy-made pair to capture the same level of quality.

3 Stars for style. The quality has dropped, yet the price remains! This was my 3rd pair of Greats Royale’s. My previous two pairs are amongst the best casual shoes I’ve ever worn. They come stiff, but break in nicely and last.

Both previous Pais were ‘Made in Italy’. I immediately noticed while pulling this latest pair from the box that the leather seemed ‘flimsier’ and the shoes felt lighter. Comparing them to my other two pairs of Royale’s, the new pairs leather feels thinner.

The padding around the back rim of the shoe seems airy and thin (less padded), and the shoe does indeed feel lighter. The soles are less rigid and easier to squeeze and push in. This latest shoe simply seems lesser quality.

Being the same size as my other two pairs, it is roughly 1/2inch shorter in length. I wore them for less than one hour and developed a small cut on my heel area. “What gives?”. I looked inside the shoe to discover they are no longer manufactured in Italy.

This latest pair is not on the same level as in the past. Too bad, they use to be Great!.

I purchased the Royale Blanco and was hoping they would fit my wide flat feet quite well. I tried other brands and they just seemed too narrow for my type of feet. Upon putting both shoes on, I was amazed to how much room there was and how nice the leather felt.

The toe box was an issue for me with other brands. The inner arc was just bumping ever so slightly against my big toe, making the shoe uncomfortable with every step I took. But not with the Royale, Greats definitely executed the design of the toe box with comfort and room in mind for all types of feet.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this awesome shoe, especially for those with flat and wide feet. I am certainly looking to buy another pair of the Royale soon and other Greats shoes as well!.

This is the first pair of CAMPER shoes that I’ve bought. So far I’m very happy with my purchase. They’re exactly as described – “recreates the feeling of walking barefoot. ” These shoes are so light weight, you barely know you have them on.

Very comfortable. The sizing chart was very accurate. The fit is perfect. My only worry is due to their light weight and material, I’m a little bit nervous about how they will last over time. We shall see! I’ll have to come back and do another review in a year or so.

Well, I love Camper shoes to begin with. The Peu line were my first shoes back when I started wearing them. It’s been my experience with the entire Peu line that they lack proper arch support and I always get a lot of pain if I walk too much.

It’s a bit disappointing to be honest. I love the shoe and I use it with an extra inner sole for more support but it doesn’t fit right because of the toe area design. Shoe looks great, and love the new sole.

I don’t have flat feet and never struggled with arch support like this otherwise.

Very stylish, comfortable and durable dress sneaker. Love the way it looks with both slacks and business casual attire. Can wear all day with outstanding comfort. Size runs true. So very pleased with my purchase.

I wear a size 11 Nike and had to return the first pair. Wound up with a 10 to fit properly. Soles are slippery on tile. Shoes are pretty comfy but don’t breath so they are a bit hot. Overall satisfied but could be better.

This is the second “tennis shoe” my husband has worn by Ugg and he can’t say enough about how comfortable these shoes are for him. He wears them all day and that opinion never wavers. He also appreciates the dark base which seems to always be gum-color or white.

The first shoe he bought was a grey suede, and the sole had less traction. It was the fact that the older pair had become so slippery due to the worn sole that he opted for this current style with a more rugged sole.

I’m sure he’ll purchase again, but his choice in the future will be with a sole that will hopefully last.

Loved the shoes but Mom and Grandmom BOTH bought the shoes. The only reason for the return was duplication. The online purchase process was better than hoped for so close to Christmas, and the return to my local store was SO easy.

I will return to Dillards for online shopping in the future.

I work in a kitchen 5 days a week, occasionally working doubles & these lasted me in total 3 months & 3 days before the sole started separating from the rubber bottoms. In addition the fabric they are made from, which is some type of faux leather, has started ripping off.

I loved these shoes. Super comfy. They just aren’t meant for people who need reliable shoes that last. Definitely not worth the price. Spend a few more bucks & buy a better product, I really wish I did.

My job requires a lot of walking and sometimes working in wet areas. I didn’t want to wear boots all the time. I saw these and read the description and was intrigued immediately. Well, I received them a few weeks ago and can confirm that they do what they are supposed to do.

Extremely non-slip, which is amazing because I work in a kitchen where water can accumulate on the floor and become an ice rink. It’s even oil-slip resistant! Beautiful packaging, high-quality leather and sole.

Inside is super comfy foam. Laces can just be single-knotted and stay put, no double-knot needed here like my Converse. I’m still breaking them in so they can be a little tedious to get onto my feet, i.

e. adjusting laces and tongue. The height of the high top hits right on my Achilles heel, which has caused bad irritation. but shoe foam tape has relieved that. I have kinda thick joints, so my ankle is pretty wide/large.

YMMV. I also have wide feet (and a high arch), and these shoes have all the room I need. But hoping they soften up as I wear them out. The shoe has great style considering other typical “work/kitchen shoes” but doesn’t exactly match up to the style of classic converse do.

For all the Bally’s lovers. I too loved their shoes. Purchased these at Bloomingdale’s in Chevy Chase. After a month of wear, the heal caved in. Bloomingdale’s was unable to give an exchange or return, so I contacted Bally’s.

After three months, I was informed they were “unrepairable”. Hoping I would at least get an even exchange. NOTHING but 20% off a future order. I’m shocked, and will never buy their shoes again. Not a good way to do business.

They are as well made on your feet as they appear online. Comfortable with a good sock and I definitely got the attention these shoes deserve from a few people.

My boyfriend loves them I bought them for his birthday . He said they fit true to size perfect no complaints .

The review picture doesn’t match the shoes I bought, so I made the Headline Title match my shoes! I researched sizing and models for a while before I finally went in to my local Nordstrom to try on a couple models in size 38 and 39.

Luckily, I was able to try on both sizes. Depending on the shoe manufacturer, I wear US 8-8. 5, but an Italian 38. 5 and UK 5. 5 fit my feet the best/are perfection! I have wide feet, high arches, and narrow heels.

Based on other reviews, I thought I might need to size up to the 39. However, the 39 was too big/long. The 38 fits perfectly! I highly recommend measuring your foot and taking a look at the Golden Goose Size Chart because the overall length, IMO, is more important for the correct fit.

I did try on several size 38s and they did fit a little different. even in the same model. Each shoe is handmade, so I was expecting this, but I do think it is important to note. Although, I would have bought any of the 38s I tried on because they fit, but the pair I walked out with felt as though they were made for my feet! I’ve bought a few Adidas (Stan Smith’s & Superstars) over the years and the fit was always a little off on my feet.

This GG purchase fits perfectly – straight out of the box and required no break-in period. I wish I would have bought these years ago! I definitely will be purchasing more from this brand.

I was looking for the best sneaker I could find for summer, ones I can wear for travel with jeans or a dress. I have complicated feet, slight bunions and many shoes are uncomfortable. These weren’t the most comfortable putting them on, a bit tight on the top of the toes, but once I adjusted the laces and learned about the GG hairdryer trick, If was a game changer.

Run a hairdryer for a few seconds on the shoe then slip them on with thick socks to mold to your feet and walk around. Then put on lighter or no socks and walk around. All the spots that were pressing on the tops of my toes disappeared (I molded them a few times) and now I don’t want to take them off.

They’re perfect. Really beautiful leather and I love the light colors on these with the pop of yellow on the back. Can’t wait to wear them this summer.

I’d tried these shoes on 4 years ago and decided to buy a pair because of the distressed look and the fact they don’t look like orthopedic shoes for 90 year old cripples. By ‘platform, they mean a block of something that doesn’t bend until just before the ball of the foot.

Until you’ve worn them you won’t understand. You have to walk flat footed like a robot. The 80’s ‘puff’ around the ankles is too high up and the result looks like your ankles are actually cankles. I’m betting that the designers are placing bets based on how many reviewers say they’re comfortable.

They aren’t not comfortable. They don’t pinch, plenty of room in the toe, you just have to walk without using the flex in your arch. These are going back as soon as I can get to the mall.

Great shoes and a very happy boyfriend. Only negative is I chose to order to the store incase they didn’t fit or weren’t his first choice in colour only to be told you can’t do online orders and return to store.

Seems stupid to me especially as we don’t live close by. Happily they were the right size and the right colour!.

Love these trainers. Found the sizing listed was difficult to know which to order as I’m a uk 7 (which I believed to be a 40) so ordered my usual sizing but came as a ‘41’ (which I believed to be a uk 8) Think this is Off Whites sizing so bare that in mind when ordering.

I appreciate the time & effort involved in the production of these sneakers. Although the white on white weren’t my first choice. They were sent to me as a compensatory option due to such high demand on the batch of my original purchase.

Apparently each batch of shoes needs at least a 2 month window prior to delivery & I needed my pair prior to my Birthday trip to Tulum Mexico. The service representative gave me the option of a full refund or an alternate pair.

My wife had been to a conference and she was admiring the speakers shoes, because she knows like great shoes not just good shoes. So she contacted the speaker on break and inquired about the shoes and quickly sent me the web site.

I must have looked around for 3-4 days on this site finally decided on two pair that i wanted to try for now. I received updates during the whole process of just who and what was being done with my personally custom made shoes.

I love the updates so much that before my shoes were to arrive i ordered two more pair of a different kind of shoes and a pair of boots. I must say when the first two pair arrived they were perfect. Both were perfectly packaged and wrapped individually.

I purchased Morgen Trainers (full-grain leather & suede) in black with gum sole. I love them. They are beautiful and fit great. Really nice travel bags are included, which I had to use last week due to an evacuation for a wildfire here in CO.

I LOVE this style. It’s the perfect shoe for cargo pants, or shorts, or anything you want to add a seamless urban look to. I paired mine with a large, white Alexander McQueen top that was tucked into cargo pants with an Off-White belt, and it all just came together so well.

The shoes were definitely my favorite part of the outfit. The red bottom adds a nice subtle pop that doesn’t overtake the shoe, but compliments it. It is a little uncomfortable, so if you have issues with your feet or are sensitive I would not recommend this style.

However, if you are alright with a little discomfort, you will have a piece that will make any outfit!.

I wanted the All Black Loubou Shark sneakers from another website, but unfortunately they cancelled my ordered. SMH So I purchased these and I’m so glad I did! I’m not a fan of the white shoelaces, and plan on purchasing a black pair.

They even come with an extra pair of white shoelaces. SMH I’m a teacher, and the first time I wore these I wore them to school and wore them all day, they were extremely comfortable! I’m obsessed and plan on getting these sneakers in other colors! I’m a size 10 and I ordered a 10.

These sneakers are so comfy! I originally bought a 36. 5 (My usual Louboutin size) but they ran big. I reordered in a 36 and they fit perfectly. The sneakers give a little extra height and that is a nice plus.

I’ve gotten so many compliments on these shoes, and because I love Christian Louboutin, I ended up buying the black pair as well. They both go well with any outfit, and make any athleisure wear outfit instantly chic.

I love how he designed these to be simple which is why I was drawn to them. They definitely look different online, and look way better in person. I would definitely recommend!!.

Just to preface this review, I am usually walking in my Stan smiths or my Cole Haan grand pro tennis sneakers. The outside of this pair is very stylish. Goes very well with any color of denim jeans. There are a few things I didn’t like about it.

It’s heavy. A bit heavier than my Stan smiths. There also isn’t a ton of cushion on the inside of the shoe either. My first day of weary my them, I had to take them off after 6 hrs of use just because my arches started to hurt.

I’ll keep on wearing them but only for short dates/trips.

This is my third pair of the Niklas and as before, I am thoroughly pleased. After getting the Niklas in white and cream with blue bottom, I bought the black to pair with a suit for an engagement dinner.

The Niklas in black looks great with my jeans or suit. The fit, silhouette and sheen are perfect. It’s essentially a formal/casual sneaker and will be a staple of my wardrobe. Thanks BR.

I bought two different colors — one in 11. 5, my ideal size typically, and another in 11, which usually works out. Whoa! They arrived in two different shipments. The 11 was a half-size too large and the 11.

5, naturally, was a full size too large. Meanwhile, the shoes are toe-squashingly narrow and pointy in both sizes. But they look great!.

Such an adorable bed! It arrived quickly, was not complicated to put together, and is sturdy. The only downfall is the base does not have raised edges so we had to add some rubber grippers to the railing to keep the box spring from sliding from side to side when our daughter gets in and out of bed.

I am very happy with the purchase!.

Gorgeous! I love it! Took me a long time to put it together, comes in many, many pieces, but it was worth the frustration. The base of it is quite sturdy and I love the design. My only complaint, and it’s only a small one, is that the posts and upper rails shake pretty good if they get bumped.

Love this bed! Easy enough to put together (we had no issues with lining things up). Definitely requires a box spring, but works well in our space… plus, I love that I can imagine styling it in more ways than just one – classic French, CoastalBeachy, SouthwestSpanish influence, the list goes on… Definitely a versatile piece.

I love these sneakers. They feel great on my feet. As, a person who has had multiple foot surgeries, I take very seriously how a shoe feels, and they definitely pass the test. I also love the color and they can be paired with many of my outfits.

Finishing is bad. Glue remains visible whwre leather meets rubbet at toe front. Laces hoops badly placed. One sole lies down flat other is rocking. Not confortable. All in all not a product to recomend.

Shoes felt a little uncomfortable when I first tried them on, but I think it is due to the sole/cush of the liner. I am hoping as they break in they will feel better. I do like the clean lines, overall look and the soles.

I’ve had my eye on these sneakers for a looooong time. When I saw them on discount at Flannels I’ve never hit the ‘add to bag’ button so fast! I got mine for £299. I’d already read a gazillion reviews – most people were advising to size down.

I wear a UK 5 so decided to go with a 4. 5 and they fit like a dream. They arrived the next day wrapped in a Flannels tote bag to protect the McQueens packaging. Everything was in order, including a spare pair of lilac laces to match.

I’m currently breaking them in around the house, wearing a pair of thick socks because the tongue is quite stiff leather and I read it can dig in to your ankle. Hopefully they’ll be as comfortable as my Gucci Ace sneakers, which are a dreamboat pair of kicks! This was my first order with Flannels and I’m happy to report I will be a returning customer.

On behalf of my wife I will post this as apparently it won’t let you post more than 1 review…. I purchased these on 3rd of June (see review on 13th) didn’t wear them until I went to airport right shoe squeaked EXTREMELY loudly through airport at 6.

30am and the tongue of the right shoe cut into bottom of leg causing it to bleed and scab for 24 days? I did not expect to buy trainers I’ve always worn to find them so uncomfortable I haven’t been able to wear them since.

Will be back to return them when I’m able… worn once if I could upload a video of the noise from this shoe in the airport I would, totally embarrassing when people with young children were commenting on the noise off of my trainer and it was echoing through the terminal.

If store can advise me how to add video footage for customers info I certainly would I’ve never had a problem with my McQs before when bought from Cruise.

I normally purchase trainers from Cruise however due to parking restrictions I was advised of Flannels store. After reading shocking reviews online about trainers arriving used and marked I decided to go to store to look before purchasing.

I couldn’t believe they had trainers on display that had used soles, dirty laces and score marks on the leather all at full cost. I purchased the last pair in my size and colour and had to clean one upper sole luckily it was surface dirt only.

Do not purchase anything without seeing what you are paying for I still can’t believe how dirty the store and the stock was in The Forte Glasgow the McQueens I had on walking in had less damage to the soles than one pair on display!.

I purchased these shoes for my his and as an I love you gift. He looooves these shoes. They are so comfortable (his words) they look amazing while worn not too flashy but still stand out. The packaging was too cool the box as well as the dust bags for the shoes.

Love them!!! They are a lil heavy but it makes them virtually impossible to ruin. I get compliments from men and women. They are super comfortable once you break them in.

Purchased the Brown leather. Leather quality is second to none. Fit is good once the leather breaks in To your foot. Took my about a week of wearing. Now they have a great fit. Insole is leather, thick and removable so you could fit orthotics or different cushioned insoles.

I did notice the squeak other reviewer mentioned but before anyone panics… it’s not an annoying squeak. More of super high quality leather tongue breaking in. As it’s molded to my foot I hear less and less.

Sound very comforting actually like a saddle.

The shoes are very durable and comfortable! If you are looking for a very stylist shoe that offers durability as it is not cheaply made and comfort if you are flat footed such as myself or have orthopedic foot issues and need a shoe that can withstand being on your feet all day and a lot of walking this is the shoe.

They are very solid at the sole of the shoe and do not completely bend from toe to heel as a cheaply made shoe this is basically for looks will do. The stitching is superb and the sole is very strong so the shoes will last for a while with proper care.

They are elegant as you can dress them up with a lot of different clothing styles. It takes a couple of wears to break them in as the top of your toes will be a little sore after your 1st wear until it stretches out but once it does your toes should be fine.

i wasn’t sure which color my Dad would like best so i bought them in both browns & black. i was hoping he would at least like one pair. to my surprise he loved both & kept both. i chose this brand because the reviews said that they were comfortable right from the start; didn’t have to be broken in.

I purchased these sneakers as a birthday gift for myself. I tried them in when they arrived. Of course it was after a 15 hour work shift and they were comfortable with socks. I wore them the day after my birthday May 27 and they were flipping off my feet.

it should state to purchase one size smaller because now I’m stuck paying off a credit card bill for something I can no longer wear. Extremely oversized.

I have wide feet. I Normally wear a size 39 in Europe sizes which is a 9 in US sizes. Due to this sneaker being extremely narrow I had to size up to a US10 which equals a Europe 40 and I’m happy I did.
