Absolutely beautiful bag. Have several fun colored Brahmins and also black ones but wanted something in a neutral. Those of us still required to dress in suits for our career, mostly black or gray, need a more conservative colored bag and are tired of just plain black so this one is a much needed upgrade.

It really fits the bill. The craftmanship is superb and the shading on the from and back really highlight the skin print on the side of the bag. Large Duxbury is my favorite style so this was a GREAT purchase.

I purchased the Merrin bag in light blue at a local retailer. Within three bags the bag was so dirty! I wrote into customer service to seek advise. I ask if they would either exchange for a different color if I could send it in to have them check for a quality defect with the leather.

I was told a firm NO. The only option was to purchase Hobo’s leather cleaner. I stopped using the bag and ordered the leather cleaner. I followed the directions to a T. No improvements, in fact after using the cleaning product, the leather is attracting more dirt.

I’m so disappointed in the product and customer service. For the price of the bag, providing no options is shocking. I will never buy from Hobo again. Buyer beware.

I really like this spray. I used it to spray and protect my Hobo wallets, backpack, purse and little Hobo Go. The application of spray goes on very evenly and doesn’t leave any discoloration or streaking.

Whenever I make an investment on a beautiful leather Hobo, I definitely want to have something to protect it. I feel very confident that this protectant spray was made for Hobo products, which makes me not feel so nervous about spraying it on my collection of Hobo’s.

This protection spray is great. I used it on an old Hobo bag that had lost it looks due to age and wear. First I cleaned with the cleaner, then used the leather balm and finally sprayed the protection spray and it gave my old Hobo a new lease on life.

The protection helps to keep it looking new and keep moisture from attacking the leather.

We run a leather restoration business and we have used a number of different leather cleaners so we know what is good and what is bad. We have found this cleaner to be exceptionally good removing soiling others don’t touch leaving the leather looking so fresh.

Rating for Leather Ultra Clean and Leather Protection Cream, see below. The leather I was cleaning was dining chair seats which are over 50 years old. They have been lightly used during their lifetime but to me the leather looked dirty (see photo), forget the stains.

I used the Leather Ultra Clean product as per the instructions and it made no difference! The applicator sponge collected no dirt whatsoever and did not change colour. After initial disappointment I concluded that what I thought was dirt was probably just a change in colouring of the leather due to ageing over the years.

Examples shown on the Furniture Clinic website show fairly new leather with light soiling, not really a very hard test for the product. I feel that more guidance should be given to potential customers who have older leather items since the product in my experience did not work.

Perhaps Furniture Clinic could develop a product that would help clean/renovate leather such as mine. If they could I am sure it would be a good seller. To preserve the leather seats on my chairs I next bought the Leather Protection Cream and used it as per the instructions.

This worked very well in my opinion and significantly improved the condition and appearance of the leather which became more supple to the touch. I am sure this will preserve my leather seats from further deterioration and keep them looking more presentable and show off the attractive patina.

I did initially write a great review because it really does clean the leather brilliantly, however, after a few days of treating the sofa’s with a clean and then a cream conditioner my chalk white sofa’s took on a slight yellow tinge to them.

I contacted the company and sent pictures and they said it could be the quality of leather or the sun or the age of the sofas. The sofas are not in any sun at all, they are less than 3 years old and they were a couple of grand each so I don’t think they are in the low quality leather range.

(a 1 seater armchair, a 2 seater sofa and a 3 seater sofa cost over £5000 so not cheap) Reading other reviews on here, I am not going to pursue the issue with the company, I’m making a claim on my home insurance and they can sort it out between themselves.

I am adamant my sofa’s were chalk white before they were cleaned and conditioned.

Easy to apply. Doesn’t foam-up as much as expected. No scrubbing. Gentle/light pressure works best, especially when wiping with dry cloth. Move foamy damp sponge quickly to avoid soaking leather. Revealed many more spots that were previously blended in.

I applied some of this balm proofed to my new Timberland 6 in. Premium boots, and I’m very happy with the results. Given the boots are already waterproof, the balm proofer won’t make a world of a difference, but it’s nice to have the extra protection against water/oil stains nonetheless.

I appreciate Timberland’s choice for using non-synthetic ingredients in this product, I don’t have to worry about breathing anything harmful in when I spray this. It’s safe to apply to all leathers, and I’ll try using it on my Thursday boots once they need a new buffer.

I used my leather cream today on my new HOBO purse and HOBO wallet. I works great. Made them look good and it did not discolor the leather. There was no smell. I am going to enjoy your products for many years to come.

I realized that I would be changing the color of my light beige hobo bag to a darker brown once I applied the leather protector in order to keep it from being damaged by weather and daily usage. Just wish there was a product that didn’t make such a drastic color change out there.

Also the purse had a bright sheen to it before the conditioner was applied now it has a light sheen. The price for buying and protecting high quality products such as Hobo. I do love my wallet and bag though.

Purchased a new Hobo bag (light colored leather) and wanted to protect it. Called your customer service and the leather cream was recommended. Tested it on the bottom of the bag and it darkened the leather.

Will not use it on the rest of the bag surfaces. The cost of the product with shipping was NOT worth it. (PS I love the bag, beautifully designed, sized for a petite woman and light weight leather for ease of carrying.

I did tons I did tons of research before I settled on purchasing bickmore Bick 4 leather conditioner. First of all they are a lot of much more expensive products out there. However the reason I chose Bickmore is because I read that it is one of the few conditioners that you can use on your Hermes Birkin and will not cause your bag to be rejected by Hermes HQ when you give it to them for cleaning.

(Hermes HQ will not accept a birkin for cleaning if that bag been worked on by a 3rd part-including yourself. ) I’ve heard from other Birkin owners about how they use XYZ brand to protect the leather on their purse and now Hermes won’t take their bag because they think it was cleaned by another party.

What I love about this item is its very concentrated! A little goes a long way! I also used it on my cowboy boots to condition and protect the leather. It’s also great for the dashboard for your car and other leather items that you may have around the house.

When I first sprayed it on my new cashew colored pocketbook, it was very dark. I read from the reviews that was to be expected. Once it dried, it returned to the original color. 😊. I haven’t really had a full on test to the rain repellent part, but the sprinkles that got on it in a downpour this week, the drops went dark then back to normal.

Could not tell! It isn’t visible texture or look wise, but definitely works!! Wished I’d had this when I waterproofed my nubuck boots. They’re a completely different color now. Glad I decided to go with American Leather protector👍🏻 Highly recommend!!!.

I found a beautiful, American Leather Company bag on clearance at a local store because of all the scratches. I have taken care of numerous leather bags with expensive conditioners like Saphir de Or.

While those brands buffed out the scratches, I did not have much success re-softening bags like this one. I decided to buy this conditioner/protectant; and, I’m very pleased with the results. It made an immediate difference with all the bags I tried it with and dried quickly when I applied it to a rag first.

That being said, there are some leather bags I’m hesitant to use it on, the leather on those is meant to be a little stiffer to hold shape, like the old Coach bags. I’m afraid this might soften them too much.

That’s not a major issue as I have other conditioners I’m content to use on those.

I really like this product, my bag is even more beautiful (and protected) after using it. I will share it with my daughter since she purchased the same bag as I did. Thank you American Leather for giving us such beautiful bags and a product to take care of them.

I have a white “vegan leather” that gets stained from rubbing on my black clothes or jeans. I used a magic eraser at first which worked very well but didn’t feel comfortable doing that multiple times.

So I bought this and it worked well enough to where you can’t tell unless you’re looking at it from 2 inches away. Then the protectant afterwards. Looks bright white again! And I feel better about using this since it’s non-abrasive.

I bought a very expensive MK bag and I was hesitant to buy the cream color bag. They insisted that the leather cleaner and conditioner would protect it. It does t work at all. My bag has blue staining from my jeans.

Worse product ever. I will never buy another MK bag. I would have never purchased the cream color bag. Very disappointed. My purse is ruined.

So impressed with this protector. I use it on all my newly purchased shoes and boots purposely for wearing them in uncertain weather. I was caught in a snow storm recently, I knew my suede boots were ruined, but after a good drying out the suede perked up and they looked like new.

I hope to be more prepared next time and have the proper footwear but I didn’t learn a costly lesson and almost destroy one of my favorite pair of boots. It works for me. Now I spray it on everything, jackets, belts, purses & even leather pants.

An absolute requirement for your leather. Especially for the smooth glove tanned leather. After I use it for the first time the bags always look so much more beautiful! My only complaint is that I wish the bottle didn’t spill so easily.

I started to see denim stains on a purse I recently purchased and went into my local Coach store to see if it could be cleaned. The reps both were very attentive and knowledgeable about their products and how to use them.

He cleaned it on the spot to my surprise. I have since used it on other purses of mine and am very satisfied with how well this works to get those stains out and keep it looking like new!.

About a year ago I purchased a Coach Legacy Leather Duffle Bag. I only used Coach Leather Moisturizer and Cleaner on the bag. I carried the Duffle every day for nearly a year. Recently, I purchased the Coach Stewardess bag.

When I stored the Duffle bag I was truly amazed at how great the bag still looks. I attribute it, in large part, to the fact that I routinely cleaned and moisturized the bag with nothing else except the Coach products.

I did much research online in order to find the correct method of cleaning the leather Coach bags. There is lots of conflicting advice. I didn’t want to risk ruining the bag. It truly paid off. At the time I purchased the Duffle bag , I was concerned about other customers’ complaints about scuffing at the edges of the bag on the rectangular-shaped bottom.

(The Duffles now have round bottoms. ) I routinely rubbed the moisturizer on the vulnerable areas; the bag is as perfect as brand new. The moisturizer lets the leather breath and preserves its natural gloss.

It is an excellent product for an excellent price. and I use them for all my MK wallets and other brands of leather. I recieve them so much so I bought two kits. and I still have one in use because this lasts.

I bought this years ago from the store and I still use it to this day on all my leather handbags and shoes. It renews your leather and makes it look and feel brand new! This is the only product I use on my designer items.

I was given Scotchgard Suede & Nubuck Protector from Discover 3M to try and review. To be honest, I was not only skeptical about the claims, I also didn’t want to ruin my new, expensive boots. However, I have always been a big fan of Scotchgard and trusted their products, so I gave it a shot.

I took my time and read all the instructions on the container first. It was simple to open and spray onto the area, just be sure to keep the can the recommended amount of feet away from the fabric or it may get too saturated.

It did both boots and let them dry overnight. Then I applied a second coating. Afterward, I could hardly tell anything was on them, but I have to say once out in the rain, they were fully protected with no signs of stains or damage.

It’s Summertime right now, but I fully intent on trying them out once the snow starts! I highly recommend this product!.

I love its simple, one-step application which dries odorless and resists salt stains. This is truly an amazing spray to keep my suedes safe and revitalized, and looking like new forever. I have already recommended the 3M – Scotchgard Suede & Nubuck Protector to several of my friends and family many have already purchased and used it already and love the way it protects their suedes too.

I have an adel medium top zip crossbody in the warm beige color that I was really happy with and took care to only wear with well-washed denim. Some blue dye transferred over anyway and I was hoping this leather cleaner would remove the denim stains, but it did nothing.

As a polisher and cleaner it takes a lot of product to make a difference. I’m relatively new to owning nicer leather purses and I got several recently. One now has a stain on it from denim jeans (which I didn’t realize could happen from rubbing against a light colored purse) and I was really hoping this would get the stain out, but it seems like it has taken a lot of work and some of the glittery decoration was taken off in the process.

This worked great! I recently purchased the most beautiful Tory Burch leather purse, then got a black smudge on it when getting out of the car. I was really nervous to use any cleaning chemicals on it, for fear it would mess up the grey, soft leather.

I used a little cleaner on a cotton ball in a circular motion and it took off the black smudge and didn’t leave any residual discoloration. I would definitely recommend.

Works great as always. Waterproof/restore leather, canvas, gear, shoes, cotton tarps, cotton raincoat, holsters, sheaths and. It’s a greasy soft wax that rubs easily into most porus materials. Heat to melt into fibres.

Makes your gear rainforest ready and really softens dry, hard leather.

While I can’t speak to it’s longevity I can say for the time being my feet have stayed dry. It’s been a couple of weeks and I have been very impressed. I also like how the product gives a darker Sheen to to my once dried out boots.

It’s also simple to apply. Just heart up the shoe with a blow dryer and then rub in the sno seal. Simple and effective product.

It works as advertised absolutely when used as directed. Your feet stay warmer, boots and shoes or any leather product will last longer, and your boots will shed water. Years back, I was on the 3rd set of soles on a pair of boots until they wore out.

It is even good for wallets. Probably would work extremely well on baseball gloves and mits although I have not explored that use.

I bought this product because I wanted to use it on my new LV bag. I watched many you tube videos of course before ordering this product. The product was used to spray both the vachetta & canvas (my choice) on bag.

Yes, the spray will turn the vachetta a little dark, but will dry back to normal within 15 minutes. This of course was the most scariest part for me as my bag is brand new. I sprayed the canvas because I wanted to protect the canvas in the event of a color transfer should happen, and then hopefully I can wipe it off easily.

I am happy with the product!!.

I used this to waterproof my Fossil red leather bag. I was afraid this bag was going to get “dirty” and a little crazy about it since I spent so much $ on it. I have other leather bags (another Fossil, a Coach, Stone Mountain) but they all seemed to have more of a finish on them than this one.

I sprayed this bag with several coats. It darkened the leather in a few spots but 5 minutes later it was back to the original color and dried to perfection. I sprayed probably 5 coats, just kept turning and spraying every 20 minutes for a while.

Now it is perfectly waterproofed. I could not be any happier. I used about half the bottle and will buy more! I used the conditioner by the same company on all my leather bags and it was wonderful as well.

Bought this to use on the Vachetta of my LV handbags. It doesnt darken the Vachetta, but it has a strong smell. Spray in a well ventilated area. The smell does go away and also doesnt harm the canvas.

The Vachetta will still patina over time. That isnt what th Apple Garde is for; its to guard against staining and watermarks. Should have bought 2 cans because it will need to be reapplied every several months.

Highly recommend for LV bags or other items you dont want staining or marks.

I’ve used this on a few leather handbags to help weatherproof before I use them. I did not notice any darkening or change in the leather. Very easy to use, dries quickly and leaves no residue. Our recent rainy weather has proven the worth of this product since the water beaded right off of my bag.

I used this spray for the vachetta leather on my new louis vuitton bag and so far so good. I have no complaints. The leather looks great and the canvas that was sprayed accidentally during the leather coating wasn’t damaged at all.

After using Leather Honey Leather Cleaner to perform a much needed deep cleaning of my favorite, strappy leather sandals, it was time to bring them back to original look and feel. Cleaning had removed all the dirt and grime and other stains acquired during years of seasonal use the short and unpredictable North East Ohio Spring and Summer.

After cleaning the leather was left a bit dull and stiff with a few “water spots” remaining visible. They could use a good conditioning. The companion product to the Leather Honey Leather Cleaner is the Non-Toxic Leather Conditioner.

After placing the sandals in wooden shoe shape retainers, I applied the conditioner as instructed using a lint free cloth and worked it in to the leather. So far so good. After wiping off any excess conditioner I set the sandals in a warm and sunny location to dry.

Upon inspection a couple of hours later, these very old sandals look amazing. And the aforementioned water spots are gone. The color is even throughout with no darkened areas. And the leather is soft and supple while retaining its original shape.

And maybe the biggest surprise, there is almost zero odor with this conditioner. So where others may leave that slight oil based product smell lingering, Leather Honey Conditioner won’t have you dragging that around!.

I prefer to keep my purse over my shoulder all the time. I never put it in a grocery cart or lay it down to look at other merchandise. Therefore, with it hanging across my body is the best and the length of the shoulder strap is very comfortable.

This is the second RFIDBlocking Protection Handbag that I’ve bought. They are excellent for travel! The handbag has lots of compartments, but it’s still lightweight. You can use it as a cross body handbag or just over your shoulder.

It’s amazing how much can fit into this bag!.

I have not used this purse yet because it arrived after my recent trip. However, it will help me organize for my next trip. It is attractive and protective for credit cards–two important pluses. It has compartments for organization and will hold many items but is not too big or bulky.

I look forward to using it in the future.

Cream seems to enhance the leather but it doesn’t clean it. It also does not state its a cleaner. My mistake. Used on a yellow leather Hobo bag I love and wanted to continue to use. Still looking for a cleaning cream for yellow leather:(.

The difference this made on my bag is amazing! If it isn’t the HOBO brand, don’t bother. This will make your HOBO leather look so much better, and it does not have any type of bad smell. I just followed the instructions on the container.

Wiped it on with a soft cloth and then buffed it out. It refreshes the color of my bag.
