Best Kickers For Week 12 (2024 Updated)

Picked 2 of these up and put them on vfl3000. 1d and haven t even put it close to full potential. Maybe about 60% until I break them in good. But they are already way louder and cleaner than any budget sub I ve had.

Lows sound so much better than previous subs. The kicker was my first sub and went to a couple of others and got disappointed so I decided to go back and won t be changing anytime soon. If your thinking about getting something cheaper just don t save up and get these.

This baby slaps. The magnet is gigantic, and built like a brick house. And the sound is crisp, clean and tight thanks to the dual voice coils

I just got this one 12 kicker speaker put into my car and it sounds ridiculous! The bass is deep and hits hard! So I walked into bestbuy to pick up my car and I was half way into the store and I heard the ceiling rattling.

When I got closer to the back I heard the bass then I realized it was my car in the bay that was making that noise! The knob for the bass was only turned up 1/4 which was ridiculous once again! Not bad for one 12 kicker speaker, I was impressed!.

If you want the best of the best then buy this L7 with the blue stichen it pounds like no other I ve had alpine type r, JL s, Phoenix Gold, but by far this has gotta be the most Hardest hitting Subwoofer I have ever owned.

It’s a solar fabric nothing else to say. I hav ed purchase one before from a different vendor.

The subs sound clean in a custom built box from a local spot. The bass is great for my crew cab. The sub completed my sounds ( BOSE system ), by adding the extra thump. My goal was to have a matched system and not go strictly bass head and rattle.

I dig it and for the small location inside the back , ya cant beat it ! I know there is Rockford , Memphis etc and I love them all , I was just going with kicker L7s as they sound good in small enclosures.

This people not paying attention to their jobs. You would think they would go through multiple checks before just sending out the product. They have the name as one thing but model number as something else.

I wanted 4ohm 10 inch subwoofer they sent me 2ohm. The name says 4ohm but the model number is 46LT7102. I needed 46LT7104. Highly disappointed.

Well considering I got sent two ohm speakers rather than the four ohm that I ordered, not real happy with the order fulfillment. But as far as the speakers, I’m not sure yet on that either because I haven’t installed them.

I would prefer to be able to switch the two ohm out for four ohm, but I’m not sure I’m willing to take the chance of having another issue getting that done since I ordered them and didn’t buy them at the store.

Built my own box to fit it underneath my truck seat in the back of an extended cab Silverado. As long as you run proper size power gauge and ground gauge wires, this thing hits HARD. I’ve had pioneers, alpines, other models kickers, dual, Rockford fosgate, boss, and Rockville subwoofers throughout my life, and this one 10” sub hit harder than any of the others I’ve had.

The box is smaller than most of the other also. Even my 2 12” pioneers I had years ago, this kicker 10” hits harder than they did. I recommend it for sure, just make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing install it with the proper wiring, amp, and tuning it to your preferred specs.

Those things make a significant difference in the performance. Also, an aftermarket stereo and speaker are a must in order to get the full potential out of this.

All I can say is impressive. Just wanted an easy on the wallet “little” something extra to match my car, which is nothing fancy. 05 saturn l300. Has decent speakers and even a factory 6 in sub were already in the car.

And the addition of this sub was anything but little when it came to the sound. I had always heard the name Kicker in any car audio talk I engaged in and decided it was time. Ended up with one c10. The c10 had a recommended 1.

25-1. 75 cubic ft air space for a sealed enclosure. So I built a 1. 45 cubic foot sealed box, got a Kicker dxa125. 2 amp (like I said, something a “little” extra), and put it all together with the amp bridged.

What I heard when the amp was tuned and the volume raised, brought a big smile. The sound i got was way beyond what i expected. My neighbors thought so too, two blocks away, that I have yet to talk too.

All jokes aside, I was really impressed and more importantly satisfied with my purchase. Once upon a time I had two kenwood 12’s and another time, two infinity 12’s. I would take two of these Kicker c10’s over either any day.

I know there is much better out there but dang it, for the money and the size, these things deserve their due. Overall the price, look, reputation and the sound I heard to back it up, is why I love this product.

I was excited to order this speaker and at first glance this speaker looked awesome. I hooked up this speaker along with its twin 12” but turns out the speaker was busted and did not produce good sound at all.

I know my wiring and hook ups were not an issue because my 12” worked fine with the exact same wires. Also the labeling on the website specifies this subwoofer as a 600 watt, 300RMS sub. Turns out this sub is only 500 watt, 250 RMS.

I was very displeased with my order and took it straight to the local store to get a refund. If you are looking to buy this product I recommend looking for a different brand from another store. There is only a 100 watt difference but can affect your overall output if you are really specific on your stereo system!!.

I love my bump in the trunk. When we unplug this speaker we instantly miss it, lol all our music sounds amazing and it has a great look. Not too much and more than enough. The door speakers have great bass to, but we had one blow, or be vandalized, and missed it every day until best buy helped us replace it.

Thank you again guys. I’ve found that all electronics are made to fail terminally as soon as possible. So having a return policy, or choosing to help people with their returns like they do, has given me the confidence to spend alot of money on systems and tech that I want without kicking myself in 6 months when it breaks and I’ve lost a multi hundred dollar investment.

It sucks. I don’t know WHAT happened to that first sub woofer. It looked like somebody stabbed it with a scissors repeatedly! We just count NOT figure out how it could have happened. I don’t know what happens when a speaker blows, but I could’ve probably put a string of fire crackers inside and not had that amount of damage to it.

So. I don’t know. Maybe somebody broke in and vandalized it. Don’t know. But I’ll never enjoy a stock system again lol. Love kicker as a brand, and I love best buy better lol, fr.

Hands down best sub I’ve ever purchased!!! I put it in. QBomb box and it sounds like I bought 2 12”s when there is only one. There are no obstructions in the trunk of my Jeep Patriot and I have a 3000 watt amp (Much more than enough, but just in case I decide to get 2) attached! My 6x8s are stock and still sounds AMAZING!! I had previously purchased 2 10” MTX and dynomat for my 90 Dodge Ram a great sound, but this? I’ll spend any time for results like this!.

They sound great and they do the job! I went with the dual coil two ohms so my amp wouldn’t blow the speakers. My amp puts out 1200 watts at one ohm and it will recognize the 2 ohms and only put out 800 watts (400each for two speakers).

If I would have bought the dual coil 4 ohms I could have wired it to one ohms but then I risked blowing them since the speakers are only rated for 500 watts (1000 total for two speakers) each and the amp would be putting out a the full 1200 watts.

So I chose caution over the extra power!.

I bought one of these to replace another DVC sub which has served me well for almost 10 years. This was my first venture into the Kicker brand. All I have to say is: WOW! This sub hits very hard in a single, sealed enclosure and it surely out-performances my previous Cewin Vega sub.

I mainly listen to EDM type stuff and this sub is simply perfect. This Kicker DVC subwoofer comes with two 4-Ohm Voice Coils, meaning, if wired in parallel, it will create a 2-Ohm load on the amp, and if wired in series, it will be a 8-Ohm load.

It works well in setups where you just want to have one sub in the trunk but you want to use all of the available Watts from your amp. This sub is rated 300W RMS. My amp puts out 250W RMS at 2 Ohms. This combo is giving me great results although I could probably do a bit better with a more powerful amp (+/- 300W RMS at 2-Ohms amp would be perfect).

Bottom line: it looks great, it sounds great, and hits low and hard (really, it does at 27-500Hz). Enjoy!.

Used it to replace existing subwoofer in my old Realistic subwoofer encloser. Much better quality. Love Kicker brand.

So the subwoofers work perfect after a warranty swap from kicker. Only thing is, the subwoofers are actually 4 ohm dvc. Which are easily wired to 8 ohm, but annoying nome the less. Overall I am Very satisfied with 2 of them and my neighbors hate me.

Buy them lol.

I have 2 of these in a sealed box with 1. 15 cubic ft of air per sub in my VW Jetta. Sounds good between the music I listen to (rock and hip hop). I had a L7 in a ported box and it handled lower notes a bit better (sub 32hz), but the bass sounded kind of muddy with a lot of rock music.

Two of these in a sealed box sounds a lot cleaner and is still more than enough power to give me a back massage and tickle my ears if I turn them up. Would recommend if you’re looking to fill in your low end and actually feel the bass.

These are a very popular Secondary school shoe, however I had to buy the adult shoe for my daughter as the child sizing only goes up to size 7? Daughter is size 8. Main thing to note is the leather uppers are quite hard so take a while to break in, prepare for a few blisters, particularly on your heels.

They aren’t very well cushioned, but that’s kickers!. I had a pair a good number of years ago and couldn’t get on with them as was like wearing a hard. rough, clog. Hopefully they will last anyway and daughter is happy.

A bit tight when my sons started wearing but that’s because you have to give leather shoes a few days to take the shape of your feet. Overall good shoe, true to size. Looks really nice on their feet.

And the zip at the side is perfect for easy access. They literally done their laces the first day they put them on and haven’t needed to do it again as the zip makes it easy to put on and take off!.

4 stars because this is my first time getting subs and I just wanted to dip my toes in and see what it was like, gotta say I love it, however I find myself wanting more kick. I’m not experienced well in this field so maybe there was stuff I could’ve done to boost the kick out of it but I noticed that I did give the subs a boost using the amplifier 12 db boost and that worked to please me however this is a review on the subwoofer so I’m that case it’s a great product to start off with or if you want to see what it’s like without spending too much money however I found that it lacked the first kick off the beat.

Or it was just too subtle for me the bass on it is great just the power of the kick for me is the reason why I’m finding myself looking at more powerful subs. However like I said they still offer great bass for those who are on a budget under 500 for a whole setup Also don’t think my amp is giving it its full power @rms rating so that could be the problem as well.

Great price. great sound. one issue though. My 3000 watt Rockford Fosgate mono block amp was a little too strong. The speaker still works fine, however the box the speaker was in exploded into several pieces that went flying through my vehicle and managed to break every window in my car.

Upon further investigation from the installation shop, they have explained to me that the 1. 21 jiggawatt flux capacitor allowed too much amperage to flow through the 0 gauge speaker wires which in turn decimated the box and sent it flying into the future.

Word has it that the box was sent into six different years. I believe I was told by the installer that most of the box was found in 1985. My DeLorean is now useless until I can find new glass to drive legally again.

But like I said, the Kicker 12 is still like brand new. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone who likes blowing things up. Cheers to all who like living dangerously. And I am a verified purchaser.

This speaker is without a doubt top of the line. 4 years ago when I first got my truck, I purchased a set 10s with a kicker amp. The power from that system exploded my battery. I sold that system and used my factory setup until a few days ago when I purchased 2 kicker 12s.

So far so good. If you’re looking for deep, clear, bone-shattering, earth-shaking bass, I highly recommend this brand.

Pleased with the Kickers. I always love Kicker products. 2 of these in my F150 Supercab, with 2 Kicker COMPVR. 15s. You cant even breath in there. My first experience with Square sub. These things can take a beating!.

My 2/ 15 inch subs takes up my whole trunk, wife gets mad when we go on family vacation s. Now I got this for that and I’m very happy! It bangs almost just as hard! Like they say, happy wife, happy life!!.

Easy Install and these subs BANG! Clearly and precisely! I have gone back to the Hip-Hop and R&B songs from the 90s and early 2000s and enjoyed EVERY LAST MINUTE OF EVERY SONG, thanks to these subs! I am happier than a pig on LSD rollin around in mud!.

You’re better off buying each part of this kit separately and getting better components than what’s offered. I’ll explain what I mean, item by item. These Kicker 10C124 subs are an excellent value, definitely the best budget level subs I’ve ever owned.

If you’re looking to build a cheap system that sounds great like I was, you can’t go wrong here. The Planet Audio ac1500. 1m amplifier can not and will not produce anything close to the RMS watt rating.

Simple math tells us that it’s capable of producing a maximum of ~400 watts (30 amp fuse x 14. 4 volts = 432). Fortunately, the subs are rated at 300 watts RMS for the pair. If you’re planning on eventually upgrading the subs thinking that the amp will have a ton of headroom to work with, you’re mistaken.

but this amp has enough power to adequately drive a pair of 10C124 subs. Because I have a cheapo Chinese head unit with terrible low level outputs, I had to do wiring gymnastics to find a way to provide a decently EQed single to the amp.

But with adequate power wiring and a good signal, the amp provides surprisingly loud and clean bass. I obtained best results with an inline crossover on the RCA cables, leaving the amp’s low pass filter at max (90hz) and using the inline variable crossover to make on-the-fly adjustments on asong-by-song basis.

In this way I can make any type of music sound great without needing access to the amp’s controls. The box has chambers that are slightly smaller than the recommended VAS for three subs and the wire terminals are not air tight (you can hear air exiting the chamber if you press on the cone).

I recommended buying or building a better box, but if you have this box you should solder the inside speaker terminals and then silicone the hell out of the terminal panel to seal it up tight. Also, loosely pack 1.

5lbs of poly fil into each chamber to improve the acoustics. The subs will never achieve optimal sound at their resonant frequency in this box, but they still sound pretty damn good after making these changes.

The wiring kit isn’t worth installing. Even though the included RCA cables are adequate, the rest of the kit is worthless for this amplifier. I experienced clipping/distortion and overall poor sound quality because the wiring kit doesn’t provide enough power to the amp.

After installing a Stinger 4GA wiring kit and a 1 farad Stinger capacitor, all my problems disappeared and the amp now performs surprisingly well. Summary- This package is okay, but not recommended. Buy a pair of these subs ($130).

Buy this amp if you don’t need more than 400 watts ($50). Build or purchase a better box than this one (price varies,~$50). Purchase a Stinger 4GA kit ($60) and 1 farad cap ($50).

The kicker comp series are the best entry level subs on the market. These subs made me a die hard kicker fan and were the first ones I ever owned. I have installed 10’s, 12’s, and the 15’s these babies will shake.

I get the most sound out of them in a tight sealed enclosure, the instruction book will tell you the specs for a box based on each sub size. Don’t be afraid to try and build your own box to the specs in the book and like I said the tighter the better.

If u want awesome sound quality without breaking your bank these are for you. Enjoy and live loud!.

In my opinion this sub is extremly loud, especially the mids and highs, it hits the lows ok but not as well as it should. i have it in a costom box , behind the seat of my half-ton chevy pickup. This sub is super loud , moving everything in my cab around.

I must add that i have 2 of these 12” subs. They are powered by a 820 watt pioneer amp also purchesed from walmart. This sub is really kind of on the expensive side – 97. 36 for one. But in my opinion this is the best sub walmart sells, if your wondering the pioneer sub walmart sells is no where near as loud as this one.

But other than being on the expensive side, these subs are awsome, thanks walmart for selling another great product. And also if there is only one of these on the shelf,ask someone to check in the back like i did.

So I got an itch to improve my HT low end & I got the itch to build a set up myself on a specific budget. This brought me to the Kicker Comp Q 12dvc 2ohm. 2 cubic ft custom sealed enclosure. 1. 5′ Front Baffle, 3/4 All Around with a Bash 500W Amp driving it at 4 Ohm.

This sub absolutely SLAPS & the driver itself is a tank. Nothing but CLEAN & tight low end. I’ve heard some great HT Subs from all the Major Manufacturers but for the price I paid for the entire set up $700 these companies would need 1500-2K to match the output I’m getting.

It’s not compact but it wasn’t supposed to be I don’t think. The sound quality is superb and the quality of the manufacturing is more than excellent. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the best speaker ever created. I have it in a sealed enclosure with a 1200 Watt Amp and man it hit those lows a little too well. It is hard to find information about this fairly new subwoofer so if you have any feel free to ask away!.

This subwoofer hits hard for a single 12. The ported box makes a huge difference in sound, sound quality. Very happy with purchase! It has been over a year and this subwoofer is still thumping hard!

Bought this set up as my first speaker set up for my 2014 Honda Civic and I couldnt be more impressed, especially for this price! Set hits hard and has good quality. Would definitely recommend if youre looking for a little extra bass.

Got to say, this sub and Amp combo kit is great. I wouldn’t use the 8guage wiring kit for this application so I ordered a 4guage kit to install the sub and Amp. Sounds great and I didn’t need to spend 1,000$ but it sounds like I did!.

I dont like my phone up in my windshield or clipped to a vent and had trouble finding anything that would hold well down lower. This mount has a very small base and can be mounted in many places out of the way.

Magnet is very strong. Only down side is my contact charging was blocked by the large square metal plate on the phone. The smaller round plate is used down lower to allow contact charging again. Both plates are supplied.

I only had enough space for one sub of this size so I wanted to use the solo baric. I’ve had several models thru the years & they always perform well. This little L7 dvc 8″ handles the huge amp I put on it & does it like a champ.

Unbelievable quality bass, & it compares to other setups using 2 10’s or one 12″ sub! Kicker Solo Barics subs still kickin a__!!! Great sub & well worth the cost. Thanks a lot Kicker. Great product as expected.

BIG SOUND FROM A SMALL UNIT. AWESOME COMPACT MINI AMP. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT YET BUILT TO DO THE JOB. IT’S GREAT THAT IT ONLY USES A 15 AMP FUSE TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM. THAT SAVES BATTERY DRAW DOWN ON BIKE ELECTRONICS.

Don t take your kicker into geek squad or some third party repair guy. Take out the 8 little screws open that guy up yourself and assess the situation. I was about to go to geek squad and then decided not to waste the money and just look at it myself.

I know pretty little about wiring and the motors in these things so I went in pretty blind just watching a few videos on common problems. I see that my ground wire was crossed with my positive wire so all i did was clip back my ground, reattach and boom good as new.

I was stoked to save the money and to have my speaker back in action. Sometimes it s really a simply fix.

My reason for my rating!? I needed a specific wattage numbered subwoofer RMS that wouldn’t overload my amp. 400 watts is 50 watts too much! So when it arrived about 15 days after purchase; The supplier instructed to re-package it to RETURN it! [So i did not begin to unwrap it]!.

I have been pounding this one hooked on to a Pioneer 800RMS (same has its factory rated RMS) mono block for sometime now and it hasn’t thrown the towel yet on an almost 1 hour commute from work. I listen to a variety of music but mainly the type wich I can feel the bass of course! If you have the space, I always recommend to go big has it can handle way more power and are more durable on the long stretch provided your electrical system can feed this monster.

Kicker is a legend on quality, sound and affordable prices for al ranges of Subs so you know you will always be satisfied!.

Second kicker comp R that has blown after being broken in and at correct calibration and even under RMS within a month. Cannot take the deepest of bass like others. Would recommend something more higher end if looking to push deeper sound according to specs and not risk blowing.

But otherwise they do hit pretty hard and sound quality is good.

I’ve always been very picky and get the best brands out here, but I decided to give these a shot and it did not disappoint. Quality and sound is amazing I just hope they last as good as they sound. I recommend this to anyone wanting loud and deep bass.

These shoes are perfect for children, my son absolutely loves them as they’re stylish and comfortable. I have just ordered our third pair of them as he doesn’t want any other school shoe. The shoes are wipe clean and still look brand new months after.

The only thing which would be better is longer laces, as they’re so short they are difficult to tie. We just buy another pair of laces and the shoes are then perfect.

High back of ankle rubbed daughter raw on first day back to school – even with double socks (thin). Hasn’t been able to wear them since. Having said that they are a great looking show. We have bashed them with a hammer at the back to soften and have hopes she will be able to wear them soon!.

Pros: The style is accepted as school wear in our local school. Cons: A few thing I don’t like. As this is the 2nd pair for my nephews I must say, that the quality are very poor. Within a few months into the new school year the sides (between sole and leather) were splitting which left a hole/gapand wet feet, when it is raining.

This happened with the first pair. With the second pair I just realised that after a few days at school, the sole rubber are coming off at the edge. For almost £60 a pair of shoes x2 for both nephews I am upset that the quality are so poor.

And these shoes are very heavy, so when the boys came home they complaint about tired leg. Again, the choice for this pair is not my first option.
