I really liked being able to play my fps games with a keyboard and mouse on my PS5, especially for online games. This makes it work much better than the wireless options. If you want to use a keyboard and mouse without lag, get this.
This device has the potential to be the best adapter on the market for sure. The problem is that this device has too many problems to list and it clearly needs more work to be consistent even somewhat user friendly.
I’ve spent hours trying to get this to work and spent hours in the online forums trying to get help from devs on the website and they just tell you the same steps that never work. If you buy this there is a high chance it will not work for you.
Use your legacy PS/2 keyboards and mice with modern USB, equipped systems using this PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse to USB Converter Adapter from Monoprice! This adapter cable allows you to connect a PS/2 keyboard and/or PS/2 mouse to any USB equipped PC.
This can be particularly useful if you have a specialty keyboard or mouse device and a PC without PS/2 ports. It is also useful in a KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) extender situation, allowing PS/2 keyboards/mice to be used with USB KVMs.
No software or special drivers are required. Just plug it in and it works!.
This adapter apparently contains active circuitry that solved a problem I was having with other similar devices that apparently do NOT have active circuitry. When I’d reboot my machine, the other adapters would not work until I plugged in an additional keyboard and mouse.
Then I had to use them to access DevManView to uninstall all keyboard devices and then uninstall all mouse devices. Then I would unplug the the additional keyboard and mouse devices. Then I would unplug the adapter device.
Then I would reboot. Then I would plug in the adapter connected to mouse and keyboard. Then I would again have a working mouse and keyboard. Took me a long time to figure out the above procedure and was a pain-in-the-neck to have to do this! The “Monoprice PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse to USB Converter Adapter” completely solved my problem! I can now reboot and immediately have a working mouse and keyboard.
Yeaaa! (BTW: I am a software engineer with 56 years continuous experience writing scientific software. ).
I bought two of these, one to go with a little used computer, the other as a spare which I’ve since put into use. The one on the computer that gets little use appears to be fine, the other one, which is being used with a computer on which I do a lot of typing, is a bit annoying.
The annoyance is that periodically, the USB port resets. I see the NumLock indicator on the keyboard blink off for about half a second and then turn back on. During this reset period, the keyboard is dead, and any key strokes typed during that period are lost.
I’ve tried different ports and a different keyboard and the results are consistent. The two setups aren’t completely identical so it’s difficult to compare results. The on that’s on the little-used computer has both a keyboard and mouse connected, and the PS/2 ports are going to a KVM switch.
The one on the “type a lot on it” computer has only the keyboard connected, with the mouse port open since I’m using a USB mouse on this computer. I’ve tried substituting a PS/2 mouse running through the adapter to assure that this port is terminated and I still periodicaly lose the keyboard momentarily.
I’ve substituted a USB keyboard connected to the port I was using with the adapter and in a day of normal use I never observed the reset process. I love the feel of this old keyboard and it still works fine, so I hate to replace it with a new USB keyboard to get around this problem.
I see that you sell three versions of this type of adapter, one presently not avaiable. Is there any difference other than a few cents in the price between the black and beige one? What I really wanted was a single PS/2 keyboard to USB adapter (the purple kind) but they seem to have disappeared from the planet.
I have plenty of green “mouse” adapters but they don’t work with a keyboard. PROS: It works and it’s cheap CONS: Minor annoyance with the keyboard (see review).

I ordered this same receiver from Best Buy with the promise of one week delivery. After a week, I was told the product was on hold with no expected delivery date. After waiting 3 weeks, I cancelled the order and reordered with Walmart.
I received the receiver in 5 days, which came in a sealed clear plastic bag. I thought the product would come in a commercial-type packing. No setup instructions came with the product. I googled Logitech for the instructions and downloaded the app from their website.
After installing the app to the computer I would be using the receiver with, I was able to sync the mouse with the receiver and they worked with no problem. Other than no setup instructions with the product, the receiver worked out great with ordering, delivery, and end results with my device.
it was not what i expected. on the plus side it connects multiple devices to the computer only using one usb receiver. on the negitive side it turns off the original usb receivers making them useless.
i thought that i could still use them in other laptops, i couldn’t. i took it back to best buy and the tech guy was able to reverse the process so i could use the original usb receivers that came with the keyboard/mouse combinations.
i did have one computer mouse that was missing a receiver and he hooked it up to the universal receiver so i am now able to use that mouse.
My keyboard and mouse combination kept disconnecting randomly. Unplugging and replugging the receiver seemed to get them working again most of the time, but the issue was frustrating. Replacing the receiver, the only thing common to both devices, seems to have fixed the issue.
Four stars rather than five as this receiver is slightly smaller than the original, making it more difficult to remove from the storage slot inside the mouse. Hopefully this lasts longer than the receiver that came with the keyboard/mouse set.

Amazing keyboard and mouse. The extended mouse pad is amazing. The extended mouse pad and the mouse has a slight magnetic pull to it probable to avoid it from rolling off when on the couch. It does take awhile to get used to the pull.
I would not recommend this to anyone who will not play one of the mainstream shooters. That is all this is for. There is a small list of games to play and majority will still require the controller to set up.
This also works for PlayStation but only for and even smaller selection of games and is limited to what it can do such as only keyboard use. If you have a PC and want to play from the couch this is pretty amazing slight weight not to much but feels tough.
Rubber bottom to help it from sliding around. Comfortable for the couch or gaming chair. Note the surface does tend to collect prints pretty fast. If you got sweaty hands you will see the prints. I give it a 4 stays since it is good all the way around just the surface tends to get fingerprints way to fast and it is annoying.
Also I do not like the give a bad rating for things out of the company controller such has dedicated mouse and keyboard support. I ended up returning since both Xbox and PS5 has very limited support for mouse and keyboard.
If your a dedicated mainstream FPS played then this is for you. Works week with COD and Fortnite. No division support or any other shooter. On Xbox all gears support KB&M halo does only while playing no mouse support in the menus.
Awesome peripheral! There’s a charging port from the keyboard to the mouse pad which comes with a cable just long enough to use it while it’s connected. The upper right hand corner of the mouse pad is also magnetic so you can just let your mouse chill out there if you are o ly typing.
I use this on a pc hooked up to my TV and it’s fantastic. The quality is top notch like every other razer product I’ve ever owned and I’ve been sticking with then since they came around in the mid 2000s.
Keyboard has a great click and the mouse is just as good as the wired mice they offer.
I feel like this product is extremely expensive and mine was defective. Supposed to be for wireless use so you can relax back and use it but the mouse was slow on screen and would stutter and the keys would work fine but on the screen would appear stuck and type a certain letter over and over until it decided to stop.
I did love the mechanical feel of the keys, though. If it worked properly I might have kept it. I returned it to Best Buy and the process was easy, I got a normal mouse and keyboard from Razer in-store (the lapboard was an online purchase) and they work great.
Do you hate having extended gaming sessions interrupted by dead controller batteries? Don’t think about pausing your gaming to charge a controller – the DualShock 4 Charging Station for PlayStation 4 helps you game longer! With room for up to two DualShock 4 controllers, you can always leave a spare on the charger.
The AC adapter providing the juice guarantees that you’ll be good to go again in no time.
I have a similar charger for Xbox controllers and wanted one for the PS4 as well. This charger works well and reliably charges the new controllers. You set the controller in the dock and push down until the cradle clicks, which means it is engaged.
The indicator light on the controller should light up and slowly pulse, indicating that it is charging. Once the light on the controller is out, it is fully charged. The sliding mechanism for the cradle is loose by design to accommodate the docking of the controller to the charging port.
The only gotcha I have found isn’t with this charger but with some used controllers. The charging port on some used controllers are worn and do not engage correctly with the charging port without gentle handling.
This is not true of NEW controllers, they dock and charge with no problems. This charger is well worth the cost and charges with no issue, just be aware that used controllers might have a problem correctly engaging the charging port due to controller wear.
Hmmm. what do I say? I hadn’t seen the reviews about this item, but I I saw it at Target shopping for something else and I was reminded by how much I hate charging these by cord. I inevitably forget to put the dead one on the charger when I switch midgame, so I buy it.
It sort of works, if you 1) make sure it’s a stable and level surface and 2) be real gentle like about depressing the controller down into it’s charging position because like the others I notice it wouldn’t stay charging if I moved it mid charge.
The connections are just not secure so a large truck going buy your house could shake loose the connection even if it looks like it hadn’t moved at all. You can get it to work though, but it is tricky which when it’s 4am and you’re heading to bed you really don’t want to deal with.
Does it work? Sort of if you’re patient enough. Would I recommend it? Not in it’s current state. If the manufacture can get a tighter fit around the contacts then I’d say yes. The station looks nice and is compact and if the connection was better it would probably help with a habit of me just taking the controller off the charger without disengaging it the proper way (click to release).
I’ll ignore the fact for now that this unit was DOA – wouldn’t charge out of the box and is now scheduled for a refund. Besides that, I bought this as a replacement/upgrade for a different charger base that had lasted me for years until I dropped it.
This unit has two fatal flaws compared to my previous charger. First, it uses its own wall wart power supply, so you need yet another outlet in order to use this. Secondly, and even worse, it has a proprietary power connector.
My previous unit used a micro-USB connector so I could charge directly off the PS4 using the standard USB cable, or from a USB power supply of my choice. Since this unit uses a proprietary connector (the likes of which I’ve never seen before) you have no option but to use the included charger, and hope that it works, never breaks, and never gets lost.
Since my unit is DOA, I have no way of telling where the fault lies since I can’t just swap out the charger for another.
The world’s best-selling keyboard controllers let you create and play music on your Mac or PC The M-Audio Keystation Series. Whether you’re an experienced pro looking for the right controls, or whether you want to start with the right USB MIDI controller, the Keystation 49 MK3 is a simple, powerful MIDI controller designed for sequencing music and playing virtual instruments on your Mac or PC.
The Keystation 49 MK3 features 49 natural-size velocity-sensitive keys and comprehensive controls that expand the range of playable notes, expressiveness, and recording workflow. With the Keystation 49 MK3, it’s easy to maximize your creativity while minimizing the complication Use the fully assignable octave range buttons, pitch bend and modulation wheels, volume control, and transport and direction controls to play, play, and record with your music software without a mouse or trackpad.
The Keystation 49 MK3 also features a 6. 3 mm (1/4″) sustain pedal input, allowing you to use an external control pedal such as the M-Audio SP2 (sold separately) for true piano sound. The compact, lightweight and durable Keystation 49 MK3 is perfect for traveling musicians who want to take control of the music software during live performances, or producers who want to add an intuitive MIDI controller with a natural keyboard to their studio – it easily fulfills both roles.
For a user-friendly and portable setup, the Keystation 49 MK3 is USB powered, class-compliant and supports USB-MIDI connectivity. In addition, the Keystation 49 MK3 supports iOS connectivity with the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter (sold separately) so you can run and compose audio applications on your iPad and other iOS devices.
This keyboard is exactly what I wanted. I connected it by USB to my computer, and it paired seamlessly with my DAW (Cakewalk). There is 0 latency, so it is a joy to play and the sustain pedal also works perfectly.
I’m using it with a trial of the synth Xpand!2, which has really nice piano options. 90% of the time I’m using the keyboard to play for fun, and 10% for music production. The keyboard is also very space efficient.
When not in use, it’s in “storage” next to my work desk. And when I want to play, I lay it down on my desk and connect the two cables (midi and sustain pedal). The only con (if I had to name one) would be the lack of sensitivity from the semi-weighted action.
I have enough control of dynamics to have fun playing, but it wouldn’t be enough for a professional live performance. But if I cared about that, I would have spent A LOT more money for a fully-weighted keyboard :).
I purchased the M-Audio Hammer 88 Controller 7 months ago to replace a older M-Audio-Pro 88 controller that was used for over 10 years since windows XP. I started having issues due to updates in Windows 7 Pro.
Since I knew that Windows 7 end of life was in 2020, I began my quest for a new Midi Controller back in 2018 that would work with my new windows 10 pro computer I was building. Many months of research and reviews led me to the M-Audio Hammer 88 because of the cost (399.
00)at the time and it being a full size (88 keys) Hammer weighted keyboard. I can say that this was one of the best decisions I made. It has that great hammer weight feel and is light weight to go on the road with gigs and perfect for the studio.
I have always had a weighted keyboard in the studio and it is very hard to re-adjust without one if you have played one, if you have never played with one, The M-Audio Hammer 88 will make you really express your playing and give you dynamic control and piano feel which you can adjust to your playing style, the only thing that I wish it had was the controller sliders and pan pots, but I get around this with another controller for that in the studio and by using the midi out (5 pin) to send controller changes to my DAW and Sequencer.
You will truly love the way it feels and the fact that it only weighs about 40 lbs and is not bulky. I really did not know what to expect when I received it, but I was blown away when all I had to do was just plug it in and all my DAWs (6) immediately recognized it with no configuration issues period.
I have a ton of soft soft synths and an very large collection of midi hardware from drum machines, samplers and external keyboards and non of them have had any issues working with the M-Audio Hammer 88.
I can say with confidence that I spend my time writing music and not trouble shooting controller issues and killing my creative process which is the most important thing I was worried about. All Host applications and external midi devices communicate exactly like they are suppose to do, keyboard expression is perfect down to the slightest touch.
You cannot go wrong by choosing this product to be the center piece of your music production. The other reason I chose this product is because of American Musical Supply’s payment options, If it was not for them offering flexible payment plans, I would not have half the quality gear I have right now.
I have been purchasing products though them since 2000. So what are you waiting for? Purchase the M-Audio Hammer 88 and start writing great music with confidence that the device will work as advertised.

I’m stunned by the reviews because this keyboard is truly, truly the worst I’ve ever used. Nearly every other keystroke isn’t captured, leading to frequent need to backspace (which also isn’t captured).
It’s impossible to enter any passwords because you can’t tell that a keystroke didn’t make it. There’s a long delay before even captured keystrokes register on the screen. And even if all keystrokes registered, the keys themselves are terribly clumsy to type on; they feel mushy and slow compared to regular keyboards.
I got this to improve my typing speeds from a laptop but it’s had the opposite effect. After using a friend’s Apple Magic Keyboard, I’m buying that instead.
I was excited to get this keyboard/mouse combo. Everything worked great and the keys feel really nice. Unfortunately no matter what I do, I am going through batteries in the keyboard every 2-3 weeks.
I’ve never owned a keyboard that has done this before. There is no off switch on it, so it’s always on. I unplug my receiver/dongle every time I’m done with the keyboard, and yet it stills burns through batteries.
There’s no warranty at this point after a few months of trying it, so I’m stuck with it, but will most likely throw it out. I don’t recommend this product!.
The company for whom I work issued me a laptop for business purposes. Unsure of the brand computer, I immediately went to Lenovo because their tech seamlessly interfaces with a variety of computers without issue.
Coincidentally, the laptop ended up being a Lenovo Thinkpad, so it worked out well anyway. The mouse and keyboard, respectively, are lightweight enough to take in my computer bag, but great quality so I don’t have to worry about damage.
Also, they are very comfortable to use and I feel make me more productive. The key depth and response making typing smoother and I can feel my hands moving more quickly. The mouse moves without lag and fits comfortably in my hand because I prefer the limited arch.
I would recommend this combo for anyone looking to he more productice.
The Apex 3 gaming keyboard was built for the needs of gamers, with IP32 water resistance for protection against spills and accidents. Its whisper quiet gaming switches provide comfortable low friction performance for over 20 million keypresses.
The SteelSeries QcK is compatible with all types of mice and is ideal for starters because of its great value for the money and has a high quality cloth material, optimized texture which guarantees smoothness.
Engineered with hyper-durable materials Guaranteed 60 million click mechanical switches Lightweight ergonomic design for comfort Brilliant Prism lighting with 3 zones of 16. 8 million beautifully crisp colors TrueMove Core optical gaming sensor with true 1-to-1 tracking.
11/26/2021 – The build quality isn’t great. The performance is below average. The mouse keeps freezing and I have to unplug and replug the wireless receiver. The keyboard has a relatively nice tactile feel (I don’t like linear keys), but also a little squishy (because it’s a membrane keyboard).
The headset seems fine, maybe the least-bad part in the package. The SteelSeries GG software (11. 2. 0) is by far the worst part. It installs tons of background software and drivers. With it installed (even closed) it, or some part of it, uses 100% CPU and rapidly flickers the systray, both non-stop all the time, really slowing things down, and the mouse speed is somewhat inconsistent, randomly feeling faster/slower.
Without the software you can’t adjust or customize anything. Would not recommend.
Head set likes to disconnect and reconnect regardless of battery life. Which serious flabbergasts me cause it has a predominant 2. 4 ghz dongle which should be better than blue tooth. I also had to buy new ear muff pads off amazon cause the stock ones arent thick enough, the hard plastic part of the head set rests on your ears.
The mouse is great, works excellent for all games when not in power saving mode. The power saving mode should not make the mouse take much much longer to reconnect after being put to sleep from inactivity, it also reduces the range the mouse can reach.
The keyboard is a non mechanical soft touch actually feels really fluid and smooth. All in all would recommend the set for 200 any more and no.
This is a good bundle for the money. The headset needs a lot of work to be even considered good, volume levels are way too low, and the mic does not flex and move like I like. It is a nice and sturdy keyboard.
Mouse is better than wireless mice I have had in the past. It is a 2. 4 ghz dongle and bluetooth capable. The mousepad is nice and big. I just wished it had outside stitching on it.
The STREAM DESKTOP is the logical next step in the evolution of the STREAM family, it combines all the features of the popular STREAM KEYBOARD with wireless 2. 4 GHz freedom and a perfectly matched six-button mouse.
Just like the super silent strokes of the keyboard, the mouse will inspire you with its almost inaudibly quiet buttons. That is why the newest member of the STREAM family is the perfect addition to your quiet workspace.
Visually, the popular STREAM KEYBOARD and the new wireless version are cut from the same cloth. Why change something that is already perfect? The simple, yet elegant design means that there is something for everyone – both in the office and at home.
And the mouse is the ideal companion. Its shape and size are designed for optimal comfort in both medium and large hands. If you value ease of use, STREAM DESKTOP is right for you.

I purchased the Cherry Stream desktop keyboard and mouse as a replacement for my old Logitech set. The reviews for the Cherry were excellent so I decided to take the plunge and I wasn’t disappointed.
The keyboard is excellent with just the right amount of feedback to let you know the key has been pressed. There is a small keyboard lights to indicate when the keyboard is in CAPS mode and NUM lock mode which I find very useful.
The keyboard is not overly large which was important for me but large enough for accurate typing. The mouse is comfortable and responsive (I am not a games player). Overall, I would highly recommend.
Great keyboard for use with my PC when I use it in the lounge so I don’t have trailing wires all over the place causing a trip hazard. Keyboard is excellent with great key feel and feedback whilst typing.
The mouse I’m not so sure of as I prefer a more solid click from my gaming mouse but that’s just personal preference rather than a criticism.
This is the second batch of these Cherry keyboard and mouse combos that we have purchased. The touch and feel of the keys is one of the best on products in this price point. Our staff loves them and those that don’t yet have them want them.

This item is now obsolete. Not much game scripts/files anymore and hardly any new updated files for games. I wish i would of known and done more research about the newer version which is the Cronus Zen.
Which i am ordering right now. Cutting to the chase. Get the Cronus Zen!!!.
I am using cronusmax to adapt my 360 steering wheel and use joypads on my xbox one. Just be sure that you have cables long enough to avoid tripping or moving devices. It works really fine with any direct input device.
You could use some keyboard-like devices such as razer nostromo, orbweaver or even numpads. It is easy to set, you just set pc inputs as controller’s and it is ready to go. You dont need to script if you dont wanna.
First let me say I’ve Never been able to use a controller/pad on shoot em ups, the Cronusmax plus makes that possible for me using a keyboard & mouse. It`s taking a lot longer to fine tune, but i`m getting there.
One thing i did`nt realise is it takes over your PC while doing so. Anyway i`m getting better at configuring it thanks to helpful Youtube video`s. will try and update a month or so down the line, as for now i am quite happy with it!.
Official Xbox ONE controller connected with USB cable must be used to initiate other controller/keyboard/mouse on the Xbox ONE console. When using mouse or keyboard on PS4 console, the official PS4 controller has to be connected during the game play.
Pros Affordable compared to others. Easy to use just plug and play Great way to transition to keyboard and mouse Cons: Wont allow you to play 2 players at once Instructions online for configuration dont work.
You cant used wireless Slight delays on mouse movements Sometimes bottom on keyboard dont work (not sure if this is my keyboard itself but its new) Would I recommend it? Yes. for those who wants to try keyboard and mouse and for people who are considering pc gaming.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Great value and it works. The manual is fantastic except for the online section but everything else works.
well i gotta admit it is definitely good for games such as cod, and battlefield, etc (first shooter games). However, i really wish it was as good for fortnight because that’s what i bought it for! however it really inst good for fortnight on console.
Trust me! And BTW it is basically the same thing as the xim apex. It works exactly the same as it. If you guys are gonna buy it, than do not buy the xim its the SAME thing. The only difference is that you can program it on ur mobile compared to manual programming.
as a pc gamer for over 20 years. never been a console gamer. but after buying a xbox one. finding it hard to use a Gamepad in playing games. but with New Max Shooter One Mouse Keyboard Converter Adapter for to PS3 PS4 XBOX 360 ONE.
you get the pc gameing feeling useing a keyboard and mouse but on a console. it’s a great product i give it 10 out of 10 i recommend it to everyone. who a pc gamer and looking to switch to a console this is the thank you.
A fast easy way to connect a USB computer to a KVM switch or to connect a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to the USB ports on a computer. All Tripp Lite USB cabling include superior foil shielding for reliable error-free data communications.
Tripp Lite warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for life.
Get in the game with this keyboard, mouse, and headset combo. The keyboard has rainbow LED backlighting and a comfortable palm rest for long playing sessions. The lightweight and ergonomic nature of the mouse come together for improved functionality and fun with LED lights.
Also includes a non-slip mouse pad. The crisp audio and comfortable design of the headset helps you keep flawless communication with your team. Plug-in this Gaming Accessory bundle into your PC (also works with PS, Xbox, etc.
I bought this as my prior keyboard ceased functioning, so I’ll just go over the important details: Keyboard: Lightweight, comfortable spacing, no need to adjust muscle memory to work with it (your experience may vary), and does everything I need to for both writing and gaming.
Mouse: Lightweight and easy to maneuver, gets the job done well within expectations. You get what you pay for, and that’s all you’ll ever really need. Mousepad: Black with blue stitching on the border, no unnecessary embellishments, and reasonably sized for most gaming needs.
It does what you need it to. Headset: Excellent sound quality, middling microphone quality. You might need to bump up your input volume to compensate, but even then, it will get the job done and in most cases people will hear you.
It is definitely at least worth the sound quality on the headphones.
or writers, spending countless hours typing on a bad keyboard can be tiring and potentially lead to other issues. Writers also have very unique requirements when it comes to keyboards; some prefer mechanical switches, while others prefer the silent typing noise of a membrane keyboard.
As such, we’ve compiled a list of our recommendations for the best keyboards for writers, from feature-packed models to budget options; hopefully, you can find one that will inspire you to keep writing.
But after looking up on internet I found this keyboard combo which is a great product and cheap and affordable price.
or is it just broken already? Good keyboard, less than two weeks old, EXCEPT it turned its own backlight off by itself yesterday and hoo boy does Google have zero info about how to reactivate it. Is it just broken? That would be deeply disappointing as it has seen minimal use so far.

The keyboard works perfectly for uses, however after registering the product, the optional software that is obtained via download was basically useless. The Pro Tools software is discontinued. And the other software is pretty lame and doesnt install properly.
Dont bother wasting time downloading anything. Just use the keyboard with your current DAW.
I bought this keyboard to enable me to practice during my Campervan escapades. I was pleasantly surprised by the lightness of the device and the feel of the keyboard. Whilst more ‘spring return’ than weighted, like a real piano, this keyboard is adequate for practicing and learning but is not as satisfying to play live as a weighted real piano keyboard.
I am delighted with it and think it is excellent for the price.

I had purchased a RedDragon mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse over the summer. It was on sale and well-below the prices of the other name brands and love it! For my other computer the keys were starting to stick (it’s a really old keyboard) so I figured now is the time to replace.
I immediately looked at the RedDragon brand and purchased this keyboard and mouse set. It is NOT a mechanical keyboard but the RGB and function is perfect for me! And at a price of listed this is hard to beat! I will say, the software is difficult to find and download for this particular model (I wasn’t able to download it) but when plugged in the lights immediately turn on.
So, I’ll leave it at that. Again, great price for a gaming keyboard and mouse, great weight and feel and really nice RGB.
My daughter was on the market for a new keyboard after a bunch of the keys had stopped working on her existing one. It was still covered by the warranty, so we went down to get a replacement. The keyboard she had was no longer around, but a Best Buy employee put in a ton of effort to find a keyboard replacement for her and came up with this.
It’s a great keyboard and the rainbow lights are beautiful. They aren’t dull, but they aren’t super bright, so they won’t bother anyone with light sensitivity. The only issue that’s arisen in the time she’s had it is that the finish is starting to wear off three of the keys so far, so you can’t see the letters on one of them already.
That isn’t a problem for her given she doesn’t need to look at the keys to type, but it’s something to take into consideration given the price if you’re someone who doesn’t have the key locations memorized by heart.
Solid wired mouse/keyboard combo. For no more than what it costs it’s a solid combo that works well and is pretty good looking too. I needed an inexpensive, budget combo for a small spare set up, and didn’t want to spend a lot.
Didn’t expect much for the small pricetag, but was pleasantly surprised by the overall build quality. The RGB lights are very nice too. Truth is I walked in going to spend as little as possible for the spare computer, and this set was comparable in price to what I would have spent on separate I expensive components.
If you’re beginner and want a nice looking RGB gamers wired combo it’s hard to go wrong with this.
Product Description:A fast easy way to connect a USB computer to a KVM switch or to connect a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to a USB port on a computer. All Tripp Lite USB cabling includes superior foil shielding for reliable error-free data communications.
I have a secondhand supermicro server running OpenBSD in which I want to only use the ps2 connectors for the mouse and keyboard (I forget, but I dont think that USB keyboard support is that great). I got a few frills keyboard with nice cherry keys which is usb but comes with a usb to ps2 connector which I use.
The documentation says its more responsive with ps2 connection. I got a cheap new desktop in which has Mint linux/windows 10 which has no ps2 ports. I may have picked Mint instead of a red hat variant because of support for this device; I forget.
I have an old, but reliable kvm switch which does ps2 for the mouse and keyboard and switches by double tapping scroll lock followed by the up arrow key. I plugged the Tripp lite device between one fork of the ps2 connectors of the kvm switch to the Linux desktop and I connected ps2 to the server on the other fork.
Works pretty great for non-gaming! I played the google. com 2020 summer Olympics browser game on the linux desktop and it was less than stellar performance with keyboard to kvm to tripp lite device to desktop.
As I recall, sustained button pushes and mashing keys would produce inconsistent results. The football game was impossible! Id be holding down the key to run down the field and mashing other ones and the guy would randomly stop running while holding down the directional key! It coulda been the early 2000s kvm switch though.
I wish I woulda tested it from keyboard to Tripp lite to desktop, but I didnt. Other than that Google game, I dont notice any issues at all.
Yes, I am aware of IBM Model Ms having 2KRO. I’m not using a Model M, I’m using an old Kinesis Essential, which will happily register as having as many keys pressed at once as I can manage to hit over PS/2 Now, I will note here that there is daisy chaining going on – The keyboard itself has an AT plug which is plugged into an AT to PS/2 adapter.
This shouldn’t be an issue; it’s a passive adaption that doesn’t require anything special, in fact you can cut an AT plug off and splice wires to a PS/2 connector in a pinch. I have a PS/2 port on my own motherboard, so I know the keyboard works properly over PS/2 and supports far better than this will pass along.
Plugged in via PS/2, the keyboard works great. Over this. Well. It won’t register more than two keys at a time except for ctrl+alt+delete, it doesn’t like to recognize that keys are held down until you hit them twice, forget even the most basic of gaming.
This is somewhat of a problem, as my dad can only use ergonomic keyboards due to RSI, and my dad’s computer does not have a PS/2 port. I was hoping to adapt the one I have, and pass it along to my dad, but this is not at all going to work for dad’s needs with this thing.
Now if you have only the most basic of typing needs, this should work great. But if you do anything more than that, it’s just not going to work. I’m still giving it three stars because honestly the technology in general seems iffy, with many adapters not even working at all.
I’ll give this one some slack because it does actually work, it just doesn’t work in a way useful to me.
Tried multiple PS2 to USB adapters on a new PC build that was going through a KVM and none of them worked for more than 30 seconds. Maybe it is my motherboard, but something should have worked. Decided to give the Tripp Lite a shot and to my surprise, plugged it in, Windows 7 started getting the drivers loaded and within a minute, I was up and running.
Have read some complained of needing re-boots on occasion, but I have not seen that problem at all. My server PC is running 24 x 7 and I often switch between the PC’s on the KVM. They were so inexpensive, I got two, one for my PC and one for any PC that comes to my test bench and doesn’t have PS2 connectors.
Bottom line, the B015-000 just plain old works. Good job, Tripp Lite.

I purchased this item on a whim. I have both an Apple PC with Logic to do music and I have a custom PC with windows 10 for gaming. The product comes with a dongle so you will use one USB port. That could be a con for some people but not for me.
This produce works on both PCs and is really awesome in my music space. I can start using it immediately from the login screen. The touch pad is super accurate and you can “two finger” scroll. There is not back lite display which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars otherwise it can completely replace your keyboard if you are into that type of space saving.
Highly recommend if you just want to kick back and navigate media or it can be a great space saver in a limited music space. Hope that helps!!.
I have tried a plethora of wireless keyboards for my living room PC and all of them fall short of this one. The range is perfect, it has an on-board rechargeable battery instead of using triple A’s, and it’s small enough to store literally anywhere.
The touch pad is extremely responsive and has full tap-to-click and double finger scroll functionality. I just wish I had found this little keyboard sooner.
The track pads on all the devices I’ve owned from this company malfunction somewhat often. I also own two full-size all in one keyboards by the same company. Overall I recommend them. But there’s a few updates I’d like to see.
– backlit or glowing keys for all devices. Although the white on the keys is decent enough to be seen in the dark. – a way to find the devices if they are lost – better low battery notifications or warning – better shortcut keys – full bluetooth feature Other than that these keyboard are working in a class of their own.
Very few companies compare. Hopefully one day we see some nice updates to these decent products.
This is much more compact than my previous wireless keyboard. The touch pad works very well in bringing my cursor to where it needs to go. A pleasant surprise was the control-alt-delete combo button as I was trying to figure out how to do this before I noticed the combo button.
The buttons are quieter than my previous keyboard. It will take me some time to be able to type without looking at the keys since I hold the device in my hand which prevents the use of all fingers for the keyboard.
If you’re like me and have your older secondary pc hooked up to your living room tv for streaming and light gaming then this little keyboard is a must. It reminds me of the old flip phone keyboards back in the day.
It makes using your pc from your couch a breeze. Also it’s the size of a small phone so it doesn’t take up any space.

Well it’s a keyboard. Oh, it comes with a mouse. I think someone else has mentioned this. But, it’s not really a Ps/2. It’s a USB keyboard, with an adapter. Um. yea. So just buy an adapter, if that’s all you need.
Tripp Lite B015-000 A fast easy way to connect a USB computer to a KVM switch or to connect a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to a USB port on a computer. All Tripp Lite USB cabling includes superior foil shielding for reliable error-free data communications.
Tripp Lite warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for life.
After trying a few other adapters with no success it was nice to find one that actually works. I have an older PS/2 KVM Switch but one of the PC’s I have connected doesn’t have PS/2 inputs. This Adapter allows me to connect the keyboard and mouse outputs of the KVM to the newer PC via a single USB connection.
The only small snag is that most KVM’s will have Female connectors for the keyboard and mouse as does this adaptor because it’s really designed to plug the keyboard and mouse (Male connectors) directly into the adaptor so I had to use 2 short Male to Male PS/2 cables to go from the KVM to this Adapter.
Not a big issue for me since I had the cables already. I still gave it 5 eggs because it was so nice to connect an adapter that actually works after trying many that didn’t.
Finding an adapter that works is often hit or miss. If your keyboard or mouse is USB but originally came with an adapter plug, you stand a better chance of success. My trackball is USB and did not come with an adapter.
I got a USB-PS2 plug to connect it to my KVM switch. It worked in the computer that had two PS2 connectors. The first adapter I got for the other computer worked, so I didn’t even know how lucky I was.
I don’t even remember what brand it is. When I upgraded both computers and need another adapter, I went through three brands before I got this one. It is noticeably better-made than the others.
