20 Best Jo Malone For Men (2023 Updated)

I personally am not entirely new to the brand, and would have preferred something more exotic than English Pear & Freesia and Wood Sage & Sea Salt that are in every gift set and have many free samples going around.

However, this is still a very nice set, and Lime Basil & Mandarin was a great find. I was surprised by how much I liked it. Fig & Lotus Flower is kinda unremarkable in my personal taste, but Wild Bluebell is simply divine.

I am amazed at how they were able to capture the fragrance of wildflowers so accurately. It’s a light, mesmerizing scent. All in all, this is an affordable way of sampling the brand for someone who might not be familiar.

I just wish Jo Malone sold 9ml sizes of ALL their colognes individually.

English Pear Freesia: juicy scent—fresh pear + wild rose and wood. Its smell is warm, soft and feminine. I once read somewhere that this is one of the first fragrances from Jo Malone and it is why many ladies started using Jo Malone products.

Peony Blush Suede: slightly sweel floral scent—rose + apple. I feel sexy, romantic and mature while wearing this to go out with my lover! 🥰.

who would’ve thought that i did purchased this colognes from Jo Malone? We all know their products are so expensive. This is the mini cologne not the full sizes. Of course, I can’t afford those. This is a good size for someone like me exploring Jo Malones other scents and they have their own subtlety that smells really addicting.

My favorite scent here are Basil and Neroli, English Freesia and Honeysuckle and Davana. They have different scents but i like more the basil and neroli scent which i preferred. It was my wedding perfume.

Have you ever seen one of those gum commercials where the actor suddenly radiates with a sudden burst of bright colors and flavor the moment he/she pops one in? Well, Lime, Basil, and Mandarin. this concoction is not one to be underestimated nor overlooked.

There is nothing like it. I have been waiting for it to hopefully return some day after it was retired. I fell in love with it many years ago walking past someone wearing it on the street in NYC and I had to stop them and ask what it was.

While it was retired and maybe never coming back, I have searched for it on the internet many times paying double for half the bottle just to have it again. I was trying to find another bottle tonight when I realized it had returned and was able to purchase new.

I am beyond thrilled. When I wore this fragrance countless strangers approached me and complimented me every single day, without fail. To me this fragrance defines the very best of Jo Malone. They should never ever take it away again, it’s cruel.

It defines the Jo Malone experience for me and is why I am an avid user and long time customer to this day. Whoever decided to bring it back is a national treasure and gift to society. Some of my most passionate and meaningful, and joyful romantic, and glamorous experiences in the last 10 years were accentuated and lifted to a better and higher frequency and intensity due to my wearing of Iris & White Musk.

The person who made this decision should be elevated and awarded for their expert and spot-on choice to resurrect this life changing scent. Many many thanks!.

but Jo Malone makes it just about impossible to find out what their fragrances smell like if you aren’t at a mall. I’ve had such pot luck with Jo Malone. It’s about 50/50 on a blind buy: either I love it, or it is so vile it reminds me of a backed up toilet.

The Rose and Oud gave no further information. I have the Red Rose scent, which is nice, and another fragrance from the line with oud, and that was good, too. I decided to take a chance, with the promise of making good use of Jo Malone’s return policy if it took bleach to get an obnoxious odor out of my sinus membranes (yes, some of her scents are THAT bad.

) This was a winner. A decent rose scent, topped and interestingly amplified by the oud. I see some complaints for longevity, but for a Jo Malone fragrance, it’s pretty long lasting. What I like best is that it doesn’t, over time, descend into the scent of something rotting (which some of her scents are prone to do.

) It’s simply lovely, complex, but not too too. Works well with other Jo scents, like Tonka, which I love and which lasts forever. If someone can ever explain to me why this company makes it so impossible to get samples of their scents, they’d end one of the those head-scratching questions that runs through the ages.

It’s just too expensive of a brand to play such games.

If I could only wear one fragrance for the rest of my life, it would be this one- without a doubt. No questions asked. That’s how much I adore this incredible and luxurious fragrance from Jo Malone.

I was gifted it and had never smelled it before, but I’m so lucky and thankful for the chance to experience such an incredible scent! I find it to be incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating for my mind body and spirit, every single time I use it.

It’s never dull or old smelling. The scent has a staying power that exceeds any other options out there and continues to amaze me every single day that I am lucky enough to be graced with its presence.

If you want to feel expensive, important, unique, elitist, and infinitely divine, this scent is for you. It may read a bit masculine to you at first but if your mind is open, this is easy to look past! There’s so many layers to this multi dimensional fragrance.

A lot to spend on sampler that I wasn’t expecting to enjoy all. Assumed I’d happily give some to others who prefer florals (as it’s not my thing). Pleasantly surprised that I really liked them all (which has never happened).

This is my first time purchasing Jo Malone fragrances or anything off of Jet. I love that it was delivered in two days, and I love the product. I like that they’re minis and that this brand encourages you to mix the fragrances to create your own signature scent.

I was recently introduced to Jo Malone and bought 2 smaller perfume bottles. When I saw this mini set and thought it would be the perfect way to sample and pair with the bottles that I recently bought.

It was the best way to try out different combinations at home and mix and match some other scents. I think it is a perfect gift for someone and very happy with my purchase.

When JM said minis, it is really mini but i enjoyed the set as it is sooo pretty & the combination also is nice. If you wanna know the size, the 9ml is abt the length of your thumb, mini candle like soju cup & mini lotion like round shape cream u can get at a pharmacy.

id say i pretty much love the lotion (peony & blush) & i think the lotion smells nice compared to the cologne. I didnt really enjoy english & pear candle but since it is just a soju cup size so nahhh ill bear with it.

Im gonna buy wood sage next! It smells really2 good, & hope to see another set sooon.

Elegant pear. This fragrance was worn by Kate Middleton on her wedding day and after smelling it, I knew why. This scent leans more feminine but I wear it occasionally and have received compliments from numerous people.

Jo malone scents are really good at feeling raw and “organic”. They truly smell as they are named and they do a great job on landing the natural clean scent. The scent is a juicy pear, along with freesia flower patchouli.

The mixture creates this soft clean slightly fruity scent. It’s a clean scent with a subtle bit of excitement going on. You can layer this with wood sage sea salt also from Jo malone to create a stronger more unique scent.

I would recommend this mostly for women as a cleaner daytime scent. I would pick up a tester and see if you like it!.

As a rose lover, this is definitely a worthy addition to my fragrance collection! My first impression was that it smelled like straight up rosewater – which I do love and use on my face and sometimes my hair – but the longer I wore it and the more I used it, the more I noticed other notes in there as well.

I still get the aroma of a big bouquet of roses, but there’s also a fresh green scent over it all, almost like cucumber. I have seen elsewhere that other notes in here are lemon and violet leaf and I think they combine to create that fresh greenness I am getting! Beautiful, easy to wear fragrance that despite it being intensely floral is never really too “perfume-y” It’s very natural smelling and not synthetic or chemical.

Although I appreciate fancy packaging, I also really like how sleek and chic and minimal this bottle is. A note on something that in the end doesn’t actually matter that much – the product photos make it look like the liquid is a pinkish color, but mine is clear.

My only real complaint is that despite so many reviews saying this is one of the strongest Jo Malone colognes, I really did not find it strong at all, and am even a bit disappointed in the strength and longevity.

I am not the kind of person who needs a super strong perfume but this could be a little stronger, even though it is a cologne and not an eau de parfum, especially for the price. I’d be happier with it as is if it was a little bit cheaper.

I have found it lingers on clothing at least, and it is obviously high quality, I am just afraid I will go through this bottle very fast due to the amount I end up applying. Despite this, I’m glad I bought it, and I am even looking at other Jo Malone fragrances because this is so nice.

I wear this whenever I want to smell rich, woody, and exotic. The scent doesn’t overpower; the patchouli does not overwhelm. When I smell this I think of things that feel lush and rich to the touch, like velvet or fur.

It’s a scent that lasts on your skin, leaving me feeling warm, sexy, and exotic, but the sillage does not overpower those around you. Patchouli oil on its own does this, but this scent does not. If you like woody, exotic scents, this should be one you will enjoy.

This is a grower. While initially seeming so subtle as to be imperceptible, it nevertheless has a lingering warmth that while definitely staying very close to the skin, is like a favourite jumper – comforting and warm.

It’s the type of thing to wear when quiet confidence as opposed to something more brash is the order of the day. It also lingers well on clothing. I’ve only worn it in cold weather and it seems to need a good few sprays to get going.

I also think it could easily be overwhelmed if layered with another scent. Would I like it to be a bit stronger? Yes, but its subtle elegance is part of the charm and I suspect it will continue to quietly surprise.

Bought this Cologne from Stratford upon Avon Store. Jo Malone is the best. I always use Stratford Store as the Customer Assistants are excellent at their job and very helpful. I have made many purchase’s at this Store and would not go anywhere else or use other brands.

This product was a gift for my partner. He loves anything with a bourbon/whiskey note in it. This therefore ticked all the boxes. The top notes are very spicy and fiery, instantly warming the skin. The middle note is a love it or hate it kind thing.

The whisky comes through perfectly, with a slight hint of peat to keep it earthy and grounded. The Cedarwood base helps keep the fragrance dry and crisp. This fragrance has the ability to last all day on my partner, and is definitely a warming and enveloping fragrance.

I bought this fragrance while on a trip to London because I really liked the scent. However, I quickly realized that the fragrance fades very fast – in less than an hour it is not even detectable. Would not recommend for this reason, particularly at its price.

Saw that this had juniper and I LOVE juniper. The amber scents tend to be sweet on me so I knew this would be a hit or miss. I LOOOVVEE this scent! It’s definitely a colder season. It is slightly sweet on me but not overbearing.

It’s completely feminine. The juniper didn’t last long on me but the woodsy notes came out the longer I wore it and the amber stayed pretty persistent without smelling super sweet. It’s a great balance! Cologne lasted all day.

For the price though I was sad to see that the top for this bottle was plastic.

I have a little tester that I received from a gift. It smells beautiful once it has settled onto your skin. A very soft, powdery (not baby powder smell, but something that’s crushed to a powder smell – if that makes sense) and light smell but with a tiny hint of something sweet It reminds me/have the feeling of being in Grenada (family home) where i’m driving past trees and you get a hint of a smell of some kind of light fruit.

It also reminds of snow. It is definitely a unisex scent and wouldn’t mind smelling this on male or female. This may be my next purchase!!!!!!.

I love amber and musk, thus when I saw this cologne on the Jo Malone website I decided to order it without trying it on first. Although I somewhat like the smell, I have to admit it’s very different from what I expected.

I wear the rose and white musk absolu and lavender and amber colognes and both have a deep scent and are long lasting. Not this one, it doesn’t last over an hour (I can’t even smell it on my clothes) and it’s doesn’t have a deep smell, it’ smells rather fresh and light.

Not sure why other reviews say it’s suitable for winter. Still deciding whether I am keeping it or not.

Really like the scent of this one. Or at least I really like how it smells on me. Some fragrances I’ve used just seem to grow and grow and become overwhelming when I spray them on me (but they’re fine on anything else that isn’t me).

This one starts out a little strong but quickly fades to one where I get whiff now and again and it just smells clean and cozy. I work in a pharmacy that has a drive thru and there have been multiple instances where our customers have asked what kind of candle or incense are we using and always say it smells so good in there (the air gets sucked out the window during warm weather, previous comments were always how good that blast of cold air felt).

We definitely aren’t burning any candles or incense (Wed forget to blow it out at night and risk burning the place down). I’ve only recently been consistently wearing perfumes regularly and these comments have been occurring regularly on days I work so I guess my customers also think this product smells nice.

Fragrances are hard to get based on what it says the notes are in it. Plus they can also smell different based on your own body chemistry. Do I think this fragrance smells like forest moss? Not really.

But do I like how it smells and how it works for me? Absolutely. I would recommend it but everyone is different.

This is not my favorite JoMalone scent. It reminds me too much of the Banana Republic Classic perfume, which is a much cheaper, albeit still nice scent. However, I bought this because I have loved JoMalone’s classic scents for such a long time.

They are light and not over powering like some other name brands many people wear. This perfume wears well, especially after it has been on. the different notes will come through and I do get compliments when I’m wearing it.

Wood Sage and Sea Salt is another great scent that wears well and in my opinion a bit better smelling. All in all, on me, I’ve gotten the most compliments when wearing Oud and Bergamot. That’s out of the 10 different scents I own.

I love this! I went to a Jo Malone London store and I sampled probably 7 other colognes/perfumes before I smelled this one. This one is lemony but it’s also gourmand. To my nose and on my skin it smells like citrus and vanilla.

It’s fresh but a little sweet and a bit musky! It’s a mega win for me because it’s less like the other fragrances in my collection. I typically go for more of the sweet bright smells like Versace bright crystal or D&G L’imperatrice 3.

So this is a nice addition. Still bright and crisp, but with a bit more depth. I’m so excited and I’m debating buying another bottle because it’s limited edition.

This product is really, it smells so good, every time I use it, I feel so relax and happy. I don’t know what make their product so special, what special ingredients they use. I like their luxury and simple design, I don’t like complicated stuff.

For this set, it’s so convenient to bring wherever you wanna go. It’s bigger than the travel size, but smaller than the full size, I took it when I travel. I highly recommend this brand product, whatever it is, it leaves your body smells so good, I am lazy person.

These are extremely tiny. But you should know by now how expensive Jo Malone is so it shouldn’t come as a surprise given the price point. English Pear is an extremely memorable fragrance, and if you like it you’ll remember it and recognise it on others! Always perks me up.

Wood sage is an extremely woody warm cosy fragrance that sits near the skin. It’s comforting and feels like you’re snuggling in a warm blanket on a cold rainy day. Can’t get enough of them both.

I ordered these minis because I’m very picky about smells and I didn’t want to commit to a large size without trying the smaller one. I don’t really care for the Peony & Blush but I still gave 5 stars because of the Wood Sage & Sea Salt.

I absolutely am in love with this scent. It smells very clean and it smells different when you first spray it on then after it dries and mixed with my body chemistry it changed and smelled even better than it already did.

It smells crisp, clean. I will wear this in the fall/winter months. My body chemistry mixes well with woodsy, earthy scents like Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume, Atelier Cedre Atlas, and Blvgari Au The Blanc.

If you love those smells you will adore this one too.

Perfumes are my most important secondary thing and I buy them more than anything else, so I can say that I expected much more from this perfume based on the marketing that attracted me. I was expecting a mystical, unknown and gentle night, but I got an ordinary airy morning.

The difference is big, isn’t it. If I had not expected anything, I would have rated this perfume with 4 stars because it is not long-lasting, which is often the case with perfumes from this house, but it is a pleasant and not so frequent smell of chamomile that relaxes us.

Recommended for all those who like clean, gentle, pleasant and unobtrusive scents.

I spritzed this on my arm in a store and had to return to purchase it the next day. It’s so beautiful and calming. I dislike sweet or floral perfumes and this is strangely neither. I usually wear wood sage and sea salt, and I like unisex colognes, which this might pass as.

If you like camomile you will probably enjoy this. I hope it’s permanent, it’s an instant new fav for me!.

I can see where this would be considered a man’s cologne, but I’ve received tons of compliments even just wearing it alone. I wear it when I want something fresh and crisp, often on a hot day where the florals I love might be a little suffocating.

Love to pair it with Red Roses, as well. Jo Malone fragrances seem to be highly crafted to the finest detail and you can see it in the presentation, from the quality packaging to the beautiful bottles like this one!.

This is such a beautiful scent. I bought this for my mom with the help of a wonderful Sephora employee (Patrick, if this is you, you are AMAZING) and my mom adored this! She LOVES IT! It’s such a clean, fresh scent.

It is definitely reminiscent of the ocean and fresh rain during a warm day. The notes are comprised of: black currant berries, campion flowers, roses, dew drops, violets and Iso E Super (a synthetic woody, musky note).

It smells beautiful as it dries down and settles on the skin. It’s not offensive, it’ll make people want to lean into you and sniff you! Haha.

I was really excited to try this because the scent profile sounded right up my alley. It’s nice but definitely not worth the price. When I sampled it in store I kept smelling my wrist wondering what it reminded me of… and then I realized it was an exact match for a L’Occitaine room spray I used to have called Bienvenue Chez (since discontinued), which was $20-25 for 100 ml.

As with most Jo Malone scents these days, it has very poor sillage and longevity. My friend couldn’t smell it on me after only 15 min even when I put my wrist right up to his nose. Nice fresh scent but definitely not worth the price, especially when this is a copy of a less prestigious brand that was 1/4 the price.
