Best Jello Salads For Thanksgiving (2024 Updated)

This product is VERY versatile. I have added dark chocolate cocoa to it. I whisk it into the dry pudding mix FIRST. Then, I add my milk. Also, I will mix one box cheesecake and one box chocolate fudge, whisking the two powders together, before adding milk.

Just recently, I had bought heavy cream to use in a recipe and had quite a bit left over. So, I took 2 boxes of cheesecake flavor, mixed with 2 cups of milk FIRST and quickly added 2 cups of cream. It tasted like real cheesecake.

(You can add vanilla flavor to it, but don’t overdo it). I put Cool Whip on all my puddings because it doesn’t have much of anything in there as far as fat, calories, carbs or sugars!.

OhhhhMyyyGoodness, we love this stuff!! It had been years since I’d purchased instant pudding. I found a new recipe I wanted to try that called for Jell-O pudding so I picked some up. Well, it has quickly become part of my ongoing Walmart cart! It’s faster than I realized it was, and actually I stumbled on a recipe substitution where non-dairy ‘milk’… aka, almond milk… can be used.

Sometimes we run out of dairy milk and always have almond available because it lasts much longer. Perfect! It’s delicious and creamy and now part of ours dessert rotation. Love it!.

Jello brand instant pudding has always been labeled “pudding AND pie filling” with the pie recipe on the side of the box. This is important because the pie recipe contains less milk and slightly different mixing times.

Now, all I see is a recipe for “pudding pops” that might be fun but not as wildly used. Irritated that I needed to go online to locate the Jello pudding pie recipe, I became even more annoyed when it was not readily available on the Jello website.

Online, I found all types of variations by numerous people with good intentions, but I really just want the ORIGINAL instant pudding pie recipe of yesteryear. PUT THE PIE RECIPE BACK ON THE BOX!.

Bought this pudding 3-4 years ago and recently decided to try it again. I ended up getting the sf pistachio one alongside it and followed each of the instructions perfectly. I some how found the non-dairy substitute (I used almond milk) which is hard to find.

Both puddings came out lumpy. The pistachio didn’t set and the cheesecake one did. When I licked either spoon I was met with nasty clumps that tasted artificial and like chemicals. I threw both out and will NOT be buying these ever again.

All simply Delish products are great but this is my favorite. It has great black cherry flavor and no aftertaste. Sadly I can’t buy it locally so I have to order it. Unlike gelatin products that require a lengthy stay in the fridge this sets in just a little while.

I haven’t caught it yet before it setbut while I turn my back to put the box in the garbage it had set. It still tastes better cold but there is no doubt about whether it will set. I very much appreciate it that it is free from aspartame.

All the sugar free puddings and gels I have found to date contain aspartame and I am allergic to that. the only problem I have had is that it separates from the fruit if I try to make a fruit salad with it.

I am so grateful for sugar free @Jello! It has taken the place of my late night ice cream trips to the freezer. I have been able to stay on my plan and not veer for sugar cravings. It is affordable and delicious! Sometimes I put fresh pineapple chunks to make it taste more like a dessert.

I’ve been to NOLA recently and had a taste of the olive salad on muffalattas. I made the sandwich at home with the olive salad and you could not tell the difference. This is a delicious product and I will be a repeat customer.

This olive mix makes the best muffalettas. I toast ciabatta buns, add provolone and mozzarella cheese, ham and hard salami. Melt the cheese in the oven then add the meat, One sandwich will feed two people or be a snack for one cajun.

This is some delicious strawberry jello. It has no artificial sweetners no high fructose corn syrup with the same great taste we all know and love. I got this at Walmart for $1. 26 plus tax. If you love strawberry and jello I highly recommend.

I m extremely disappointed in this product. I made 8 batches of no cook strawberry freezer jam. I froze the jam, but upon thawing each to use, they are all a runny mess. Strawberries are at the bottom of the containers.

You can’t make a peanut and butter sandwich because the jam makes the bread soggy. I will never buy this product again. It makes me sick to think of all the cost and time to make the jam.

This salad topper tastes good, but it’s mostly cranberries with very few pecans (it’s like 10% pecans and 90% cranberries). I probably won’t repurchase this because I prefer more nuts mixed in. I’d be happy to pay more if the ratio was better.

This is a very cup idea for a child’s birthday party or family summer gathering. I however bought this to do with my 3 year old niece on a rainy day. It didn’t go well at all. She was eating the gummy worms the entire time.

The Oreo crumble was all over my hard wood floors. This is definitely not a task I would recommend for people to do with their young ones. I was cleaning the Oreo crumbs out of the seals in my hard wood floors for a week I felt like all I was doing was trying to clean up behind her instead of enjoying the moment.

Its that one thing thats always better at a resturant. But with these kits it makes it so salad at home is that good!! Since my boys refuse to eat salad it super simple for me to make for just me as a side or an entire meal.

I just wish the fixings came in a different package. They are hard to keep from making a mess if you dont usd it all right away.

Love these salad kits! They have so many varieties so it never gets old. I usually will cook some grilled chicken then throw this mix and the chicken in a spinach wrap. DELICIOUS

Salads are so expensive in restaurants nowadays. This salad mix is super handy and so good! It includes the cheese, croutons and dressing. I like adding blackened salmon or even a pouch of tuna to it to add protein.

Always convenient and tasty. I do wish they would put more green lettuce leaves instead of mostly the stems. Not a deal breaker for me since i like to sue this a quick meal with grilled chicken and just add some extra greens.

This tastes amazing. This will be my go-to for healthy and filling lunch/dinner, add protein. I got the 12 ounce package with the nuts/seeds packet and the dressing. I think the serving size of 100 grams includes those items.

I didn’t put those on mine (I don’t eat dressing) – I just measured out 100 grams of the greens. So I only got 2 servings with a tiny amount left in the package. No big deal – I’ll just do 85 grams like I do with most vegetables ad salads.

The item itself is great. Picked mine up from the Hoover, AL store order pickup just to try it. Liked it and ordered 6 more bags. Didn’t pay attention to them until I got home. They looked old. The expiration date was 4 days after my pickup but they already looked expired.

And it is very economical each lunch costs me less than $2!! I will occasionally throw in some fresh fruit like blueberries or some pecans.

This is one of the better tasting romaine mixes-just like what you get in a restaurant. It’s crispy and fresh tasting and usually lasts for a couple days after opening. It’s a decent value for the money especially if you want convenience.

This is a tasty salad but there is room for improvement. First is the cabbage to lettuce ratio, way too much cabbage and too little lettuce. The dressing could use a little more vinegar for some zing but other wise the dressing is good.

The wontons and almonds are a great addition of taste and texture to the salad. Also a little better quality control would be good, I got a stalk of kale and a cube of cabbage center. Both are practically inedible.

Absolutely delicious. I use this product on sandwiches and also as a side dish by itself. I made a crockpot pork roast using this cabbage, brown gravy mix and the roast. It turned out so yummy!

The salad was actually fresh this time. The leaves were nice and crisp. Sometimes, even though it is well within the expiration period, the leaves are already turning brown. We need to check the package each time.
