When my MS6000 mouse died, I tried to buy another one (because it worked so well) but discovered that for some odd reason Microsoft has stopped making them. As my hands tried various mouse brands, they kept gravitating to the Logitech M330.

So I purchased it. After using it for a few days, I was ready to return it. The advertising for “smooth and fast scrolling” seemed to be false as there was nothing smooth or fast about it (a bump inside?).

Well, as a result of opening it to remove the batteries and snapping the cover back on, my thumb went to the wheel one last time and — wow, voila — all of a sudden the M330 was a delightful piece of work and science.

It transformed to silent and fast. I’m still not sure how this transformation happened, but using the M330 has been a delight. In fact, it is sometimes too good because if you spin the wheel like I do to force a quick scroll your scrolling won’t stop until it hits top or bottom.

This can and does cause mistakes, but getting used to it and accommodating it eliminates that problem over time. I highly recommend getting the M330!!!!!.

This time I ordered 3 mice M330 SILENT PLUS. 2 black and one silver. One of the black mice is not working. During operation, the connection is lost. The mouse just slows down and does not respond. This is not my first order of your products.

This mouse is amazing!!! I have to work in bed at night a lot and my young daughter sleeps with me and she always used to complain about my clicking. No more thanks to this awesome mouse! I usually don’t like wireless ones since I find they are harder to control and you can’t always rely on them but I have had zero issues with this one after using it for a couple of weeks now.

It is very quiet, connects easily, and I love that they have a slot built into the mouse to hold the USB so it doesn’t get lost when I have to take my laptop and mouse places. I honestly can’t think of anything they could improve upon, it is absolutely perfect! There is nothing required for setup and I love this mouse so much I use it all the time now, not just when I need a silent one.

In my opinion, although this game got many negative reviews about bugs, I recommend ti play once in your life if you love Silent Hill franchise. I love monster designs and the ambient environment that make me disturbed and enjoyed the game.

I think this game still looks in 2021, after I played about an hour, this game still provide the terrorifying for me. If you love Silent Hill, you should have this one in your collection.

Spoiler alert in this review: I know a lot of the reviews are amazing in this game. Pro: yes the game is reasonably priced and the gameplay is amazing. The graphics kick butt. There are also choices you can make in the game that will give you several different endings.

Cons: If you are a long time Silent Hill player you will hate the changes they made in this game. There is a vortex instead of the realworld/deadworld transformation like the previous games. It repeats and there is no siren at all in this game.

It really took a step back in the original setting of what makes Silent Hill, Silent Hill. Rent before you buy.

Let me say this first: I am a die-hard Silent Hill fan. I have played every game in the series except for Downpour (I will be playing it next) and Book of Memories (because I’m not buying the Play Station Vista).

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way. Silent Hill Homecoming is not your traditional Silent Hill game, but honestly I didn’t expect it to be. In a day and age where Call of Duty is the most popular PS3 game series on the market original Silent Hill games just wouldn’t sell well and I understand that.

For a Silent Hill game that’s appealing to the first person shooter market I thought Homecoming was absolutely amazing. Then again, I thought Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was amazing as well and it was very different from every game in the Silent Hill series.

I guess most Silent Hill fans are stuck in their ways. I can appreciate change. Another reviewer pointed out that Silent Hill: Homecoming was difficult and did not have an ‘Easy’ mode and that’s true.

Homecoming is very shooter focused, so you have to be able to aim which is hard for most people. Personally, I did not have too hard of a time with it. If I got stuck I simply looked up a walk-through.

I loved that the puzzles weren’t as difficult as most Silent Hill games, but that they weren’t dumbed-down. Oh, and I tried playing it on PC and it was awful. I basically just bought a PS3 so I could play this game and I’m very happy.

Overall, great game. Would recommend, would play again.

Much better than the original I purchased back in 1996 that was not useable due to constant static in the earphones. Yamaha at the time was not able to resolve the problem so I ended up with an expensive paper weight and have avoided all things Yamaha since.

So was initially hesitant to waste more money, especially on a Yamaha product, but this one actually works, is silent and is useable. A shame it is not wireless as one would expect it to be in 2023 and that the new model only has two reverb settings.

Cables are such a thing of the past and the original had more choices.

I have wanted a Silent Brass system for my horn for years. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?! For the past few years, I have lived in apartments and now a row home, and I never wanted to disturb those around me – treat others as you’d want to be treated, right??? With that, practicing my horn went down the drain as something I longed to do, but wouldn’t.

Finally during the COVID-19 self-distancing when my weekly community band was no longer gathering, I decided to splurge! And I am SO SO glad I did! For the past few weeks the mute has already brought me so much joy and has paid for itself through and through! The mute and Silent Brass system are both fantastic products! The physical mute fits snugly into my Holton bell, and I have no fear of it falling out.

The foam suction around the mute is very effective, making it sound like you are playing with your hand shoved up the bell, but feeling as if you are playing without any hindrance whatsoever. My only concern about the foam is that it will wear out over time.

but at this point I have no complaints at all! The Silent Brass system honestly made me tear up the first time I used it, it is that realistic! For French horn, the system makes it sound as normal – like most of the instrument’s noise would be coming from the right-hand side where the bell faces.

I was blown away! Another feature that I really like is the option for selecting different acoustics for your “practice space:” Option 1 being a standard practice room and Option 2 being a performance hall.

Whenever your confidence is feeling low, let me tell you. flip that system to Option 2, and you won’t be disappointed! The acoustics sound incredible and exactly like it would if you were performing on stage! The only kind-of negative thing I can think to state about the product is that the headphones included with the product aren’t my favorite, they’re very hard plastic and don’t fit to my ear comfortably.

But you can plug any headphones into headphone-jack, so that works out just fine! If you’re on the fence about purchasing. JUMP OVER THE FENCE AND DO IT!!! I would recommend this product to any horn player I know!!.

This is a great home/ school/ gig warm-up / practice tool! It can be used as a ‘warm-up, practice mute’ without the electronics being connected. It stores in the bell of the trumpet so that it can travel with you anywhere.

After using a number of traditional practice mutes, I found this mute section to be very free blowing and not stuffy. It does, however, make the intonation extremely sharp especially in the low register.

When using the AUX IN with accompaniment tracks, I find that I need to pull out the tuning slide quite a bit to find an acceptable pitch compromise as compared with an open acoustic performance. Having said this, being a recently retired career trumpet player, this suits my needs very well in a scaled down space to keep enjoying my daily playing routines.

If you’re trying to run the game on an XBOX 360 there is a bug that prevents the game from loading if you save multiple instances on a single folder. You can still have multiple saves if you create a new folder for each one (the option that takes up more memory) and can still overwrite these saves.

If you already own a copy of the game that can be read but isn’t booting, go to the 360s hard drive and delete the existing data. This should allow you to boot the game once more. Graphical errors are a product of the emulation and not the disc itself.

If you’re a fan of survival horror, then you already know about the Silent Hill franchise. The first game was one of the first, if not the first, console horror games that successfully drew you into the narrative so deeply that the line between playing a game and experiencing the existential dread of the situation virtually dissapeared for large segments of a play through.

Poor Harry Mason was never going to escape unscathed, and the reality of enjoying a palpable sense of doom was delivered in spades. SH2 delivers a similar experience, although of course, it can’t quite summon that initial spirit of dread that the original provided.

Regardless, it is a thrilling and similarly disturbingly pleasurable foray into existential dread, and does feature the value-add of the legendary and totally unnerving Pyramid Head. The 2003 Xbox release offers the most complete version of the game, including a separate mini-game that the original PS2 disc did not include.

Opinions may vary, but for the core experience, the fact that this version does not have the ‘updated graphics remastering’ of subsequent releases is very much a feature rather than a bug! Highly, highly recommended!.

Silent Hill 2 is often touted as one of, if not, the greatest survival horror game ever. Do I agree with this? Pretty much; the game is extremely well designed and produced, with a haunting story told beautifully through eerie writing and strange voice overs that enhance the feeling that you’re somewhere you shouldn’t be.

You’ll encounter a handful of abnormal human characters, who are all in the town for their own mysterious reasons, such as Angela, who says she’s looking for her mama (“I mean, my mother”. ) James himself comes to Silent Hill in search of his wife Mary, whom he thought dead, until he received a letter from her.

The foggy town of Silent Hill seems to be devoid of life, and the excellent sound design and music helps make the experience feel all the more lonely. James will be seemingly alone in navigating through abandoned apartments, a pitch black hospital, and more locations around the town.

I say “seemingly alone” because there are some. entities to find in Silent Hill. And what do you find in this nightmarish world? Abstract, disturbing creatures that should not be, such as a violent mannequin made up of four legs, a lying figure that spews acid and appears to be constrained in a straight jacket made of diseased flesh, and of course, the infamous Pyramid Head, a giant creature wearing an apron and oddly shaped head, that stalks you throughout the town with a huge butcher knife or metal spear.

Something to discover though is how each of these monsters contributes to the story, helping tell us about the game’s world rather than being there simply to scare players. Unlike many recent horror titles, James will actually have to fight back against these creatures in order to survive.

The combat feels awkward, as it should; James Sunderland is an everyman with seemingly little to no experience in fights, and that translates well with a general lack of skill, without ever becoming frustrating.

At least, as long as you learn to converse what little firearm ammunition and medical supplies you come across. James will also have to solve cryptic riddles in order to reach new areas or secure important items in his journey, and none of these riddles is exactly what I’d call easy.

You’ll have to pay close attention to the wording in the notes and maps you find scattered around Silent Hill. What else will James discover in Silent Hill? That’s for you to find out. I did, and I very much find it worth the visit.

Hell, I’ve played the game at least four times, and plan to come back time and time again.

I highly enjoyed the Silent Hill series on the PS2. I spent a lot of time playing these games back in the day and it’s great to be able to play them in HD. The voices take a little time to get used to but I feel they are an improvement over the over-the-top acting of the originals, though in SH2 you can opt for the original voices.

The game does have some slowdown issues when there’s a lot going on though it doesn’t happen too often. The games are really dark and still have the atmosphere they had back in the day. SH2’s storyline is a little bit better in that it deals with a lot of themes whereas SH3 is more straightforward.

SH3 does better in the creepiness factor, having better scares and creepier locales. It’s a shame though that SH4 did not make this collection as it would have been a solid piece too. Should you pick this up? I think the game plays better on a PS2 so I would recommend that if you are able.

My PS2 got ruined so this has been a nice replacement. The only ‘new’ feature is the SH2 sub plot ‘Born from a Wish’ that only appeared on the Greatest Hits and Xbox versions of SH2 so it may not be worth picking up if you already have the originals.

It is one of the greatest horror genre video games so if you haven’t played it, I’d recommend picking it up. The newer games (Homecoming,Origins, though I’ve not yet played Downpour) have not done the series any justice.

Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 on one disc. I didn’t buy this for the sake of it being in HD but for the convenience of having them available to play on the PS3 after my PS2 died long ago. Both HD games have dialogue recorded by new voice actors when a lot of fans would have much preferred the originals.

Thankfully both the original and new voices are available to choose between when playing SH2 but unfortunately not for SH3. There are also a few other niggles such as SH2’s water effects looking bad in comparison to the original PS2 version and some needless sound effect changes which actually made one of the creepy moments less effective.

In SH3’s case the character tended to slow down a lot in the outdoor areas of the game. I’ve heard that there has since been a patch made available to rectify some of the problems though I have yet to use it myself.

I would recommend the HD Collection if you simply want to be able to play these games on a newer console or if you have yet to play them ( Silent Hill 2 is generally considered the best in the series and has a very strong and moving storyline ) – just keep in mind that they are not quite the best versions compared to the original PS2 ones.

I’ve marked the HD Collection as “Good” since both games are well worth playing and are great survival horror.

Let’s get this straight: Silent Hill 2 is still the greatest horror game of all time. Near perfect atmosphere; intelligent story; complicated, layered characters; and probably the single most iconic monster in all of gaming – Pyramid Head.

The port has some graphical issues and animation flaws, most of which were fixed with a patch, but you simply MUST play Silent Hill 2 if you’re a fan of horror. And make sure you select the original voices to get the best experience.

Silent Hill 3 is also a great horror, but there’s a little too much action for my liking. However, there are some absolutely terrifying moments and they’re well worth playing for.

Strike King 3xd is a must have when bass are holding a little deeper in the fall and spring transitions, I picked up several colors BlueBack/Chart. for early morning/ less visibility water, Chili Craw for winter/spring/fall dirty water.

Citrus fall/spring clear water. Green Gizzard Shad fall/spring clear water. Tn Shad and Tn Shad 2. 0 different color variations,fall/spring I have seen times when they eat one and slap at the other. The Shizzle Fall/Spring a Great color for clear water Spotted Bass love the Shizzle!.

I purchased a couple KVD 1. 5 Flat Sides for cold water bass fishing. Price was very reasonable considering that crankbaits can be quite expensive these days. After receiving them, I tied one on and did a few practice casts to check out the action.

First thing I noticed is that the lure is very light and not easy to cast. Also, it was completely out of tune straight out of the box so it took a little while to properly adjust it. Though it is a few dollars more, the Frittside Flat Sided crankbait is a much better choice.

Casts much further and is weighted so it partially suspends like a jerk bait. I purchased the Frittside 7 which dives to a good (5′-7′) depth. If you can afford to pay a few extra bucks, the Frittside will likely put more fish in the boat.

I bought two of these to replace the noisy fans that came with my G. Skill RAM cooler. The original fans were also 3500 RPM, but they had sleeve bearings and created a very audible dissonant wavering sound since they were operating at such a close but not-quite-the-same RPM.

These Fractal fans have no such issue. Even at full speed they are hardly audible and they provide plenty of cooling for my OCed memory. I had to use the original screws and bolts that came with the RAM cooler because the screws that came with these seem useless to me.

I bought these after I purchased several of the new Fractal Venturi 120mm HP fans and a 140mm HP fan to replace all of the aging fans in my case. My experience with those fans and with Fractal Design as a whole has been nothing but positive, and these fans are no exception.

I’m confident that these will remain functional and silent for quite some time and highly recommend Fractal to anyone looking for high quality fans at a reasonable price.

-5 stars all around. I’ve owned Fractal before and their products normally hold up well, I’m optimistic. -I’m probably going to buy one to replace my noisy chipset fan as well. -To the person complaining about the screws.

They’re screws. If it’s replacing an old fan, the old screws will most likely work for it, if you didn’t strip them out or something. I’ll have to do the same thing with my chipset when I replace that fan.

Can’t expect a $7 fan to include all of the different screws in the world. Not all manufactures use the same specs. 🙂 The fan my current one replaced sits in a bracket, clipped to the top of the cast.

Perfect fit!.

I replaced my (still functioning) SIREN loud 60mm Intel Xeon CPU fans that spun at +4500rpm with these. The new fans have been installed for less than two weeks and now I get cpu fan failure warnings on my system even though both CONTINUE to spin!!! One of the fans will report dropping to “0” from 2455rpm at random!!! I do not get this problem with my old fans.

All are 3pin plugs! Not sure what I am going to do as I do like how they compliment my case/color setup.

It is the best thing you can have when fishing off a dock or shoreline. Comfortable and the swivel is great.

This game actually has a pretty sweet vibe to it. Too bad it broken AF! TERRIBLE framerate issues. Inopportune loading screens. Dull repetitive creatures. Clunky awkward item/weapon management. Etc etc.

it’s just not made well AT ALL. BUT it actually is built on a great foundation! Maybe they just bit off more then they could handle. You actually get to explore Silent Hill and discover and solve other people’s hellish mysteries.

The puzzles are fun and inginuitive. The atmosphere and settings are quite unique. The story’s not bad. Blah blah blah. I’ve been avoiding this game for years because of everything I read about it, but since we’re probably never going to get another Silent Hill, and EVERY FRICKIN horror game is FP nowadays I broke down and bought it.

I recommend you do the same, just so you can feel my pain.

I bought Silent Hill Downpour because it has been out for a year and I want a game that was going to be scary and hopefully patched to work smoothly. The game delivers in old school horror scares. I would say it tops similar games such as Resident Evil 6 in the scare department.

The environment I am okay with; rather than fog instead its rain and night-time that you never really get GREAT visibility. If you play the game in the dark setting as its meant to be played is extremely scary.

It does give me personally a headache squinting around with the flashlight through the dark. I have to put the game down every hour or so because of this. On top of the usual scares, the combat is clunky and not fun, if the enemies get the jump on you they will get a few hits until you dash and then spam square.

The combat though has never been a strength of the franchise but the puzzles were, and they were fun to figure out. The camera angles and quests were reminiscent of old entries of Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

The bad part was the backtracking, which you will do a lot of if you finish all the side quests. The otherworld sequences as it chases you is just frustrating, I will sit with the laptop and have the route laid out but I still had trouble getting through those parts.

Overall I would have loved this game if it weren’t for the frame rate or LAG issues. Many times I will experience lag while playing and at times it will be constant for 5 seconds to as long as 30 seconds, and by now there will not probably be a patch to fix the issue.

The lag ruins the environment, the atmosphere of the gaming experience and at times has turned me around, gotten me lost, and also gotten me killed. If you want to be scared and love the series it might be worth renting a couple of days but I would not recommend the game to buy.

Non-Spoiler!! As a long time Silent Hill fan, I wanted to try this one out, since the new team of creators stated heavier psychological story. The graphics are decent, with some emphasis on water, obviously, but the surprising part comes from frame rate issues and glitchy camera work.

The designers said they were going to create a patch for the Xbox version, but as of this review, almost 9 months after release, there hasn’t been one. It gets better as you progress, so if you can manage, just hang on.

Another poor design is the save system. The first Silent Hill game to be completely reliant on auto saves (there is NO manual save option), it will fail you many times after completing large amounts of game play.

Also gets better as the game progresses, but my advice is to check the load screens to make sure your progress is mostly up to date. Something positive to speak of, the story is mostly engaging, especially if you are a fan of older Silent Hill story lines, which are full of various innuendos and analogies.

The subtle clues are the best part to me, as they help with the atmosphere and mystery of the character. As far as the music goes, I am particularly fond of most Silent Hill music to date. Own the first four soundtracks, listened to them many times, they are better than any mainstream band album to me.

This game almost utterly fails in this aspect. With no real musical theme to instill in your memory, the game is mostly comprised of background noises compiled with eerie sounds and scores. A mood setter, no doubt, for those new to Silent Hill, but it has you experiencing barely the peak of the emotions music is capable of influencing.

I read they hired the composer from the t. v. show Dexter to do the score, and if you’ve ever seen a sitcom or drama, you’d know this is the exact result you’d get. Short term emotions versus long term emotions.

Game play is normal for Silent Hill, some face to face metal rod beating action. There are few more elegant things the creators could have worked out, but you’ll get through it. The puzzles have returned, and like in Silent Hill 3, there is even a separate difficulty option for them! Exciting, at least if you like puzzles.

For me, I’ll give it 4 stars, as it’s nice to see at least some aspects that brought everyone to Silent Hill come back in this one.

First off, the game came SEALED. That alone justifies its price point. This collection is so awesome and I highly recommend this seller. The game was delivered fast and without hassle!

Standards r set pretty high when it comes to Silent Hill. It was an ok game. I’m trying to conquer all of them and this one has been by far the most poorly graphic game. It’s so dark, u can’t even know tell where your going.

The bosses r really easy. Definitely a one time play. U need to look at a walkthrough if u want to beat it. But the game is hard, and challenging, puzzles I looked at a walkthrough, and it’s definitely edge of your seat and will probably piss u off.

But you’ll be glad when u beat it.

There’s not a lot of talk about this game, but honestly? I liked it. It feels like the other games, what with the atmosphere and characters and METAPHORS (come on, it’s Silent Hill, it’s GOTTA have the metaphors), and it has its own unique story that I enjoyed.

It’s a bit different in terms of how you travel between worlds–you do this manually by going through mirrors, as opposed to the game doing it for you–but it still feels natural, just another part of the puzzles you’ve come to know and love (and HATE) in the Silent Hill franchise.

I have already played this game through twice on the PSP, which is the system it originally came out on, so i already know what to expect. I actually haven’t played this game on this disc yet but as long as it is in good condition, i am going to love it.

THE SCARIEST SILENT HILL GAME.

Thought about it for long while to dump the money, but I purchased 2, PM ghost shiner and GG deadly black shad colors. The workmanship of these lures are excellent. Paint quality is on point. Noticed that the barbs are backwards and at first thought it was odd, never seen anything like that.

Had the opportunity to go fishing on a sunny and 75 kinda day for my birthday weekend out here in CA. These baits suspend in the water column almost perfectly at 58 degrees according to the fish finder.

In a window of 4 hrs (fishing was tough), had a bass follow the 110 and later, I was able to catch 1 bass at a point with a rocky bottom when my 4 other buddies didn’t even get a bite. Could it be luck or the right bait? Wish they were a few bucks cheaper.

These jerkbaits are the standard by which all others should be judged. Pricy but worth it The plus 2 truly gets down 12 ft on lite line. Have hit bottom in 15 on a very long cast with 10 pound braid.

Plus 1 a meter shallower, standard 110 , 1 meter shallower than that Action is very erratic but predictable erratic if that makes sense. By this I mean it’s not going to suddenly shoot up for example.

It works it’s window and constantly tries to dig deeper. Retrieve resistance is surprisingly mild for a deep jerk. Color selection is seemingly endless and all are things of beauty. My go to are French pearl , pro blue , tenn Shad , deadly black and ito wakasagi.

With these I can work all conditions effectively. Be warned. These are addictive.

Purchased the Megabass Vision 110 Jr. and couldn’t be happier. Chose the junior due to forage size in the Winter in the Northeast. First, this thing casts a mile even though only being 3/8 ounce! As a bank fisherman fishing in the Winter, distance is important as the fish are out in the depths of the middle of the lake.

Second, you do not have to work this bait hard as it has tons of action even with small jerks. Important in the Winter when bass don’t expect big twitches to the bait fish. Third, the finish is second to none as is the action.

It rolls, darts and walks back and forth. Now the reasons for only 4 stars. First, the bait rises slowly. I want more of a suspending bait right out of the box, especially at $20 a clip. Water temperature has to do with rise but, wish my 40 degree water didn’t make this bait rise.

Second, although the hooks are the sharpest and stickiest you’ll find (they stick to everything including skin, clothes, fishing bags, car seats. ) they do tend to bend a little easy. Just today I had one bend taking it off of the hook keeper! I’ve caught 5 pound bass and haven’t bent one but, getting untwisted from my hook keeper did.

Go figure. Great lure, great size and action and worth every penny of $20! Get one. My fav, and only one so far is the “Megabass Sexy Shad. “.
