20 Best Iphone X Screen Replacement (2023 Updated)

Provides adequate privacy from someone viewing your screen from an angle. It does not completely black it out from side view as you are still able to make out pictures but not able to actually read the text.

Would have thought that it would have been more of a blacked out privacy and not able to see anything. I mean it does provide readable text privacy but definitely could be better. As for the screen protection part, I have ZAGG protectors on all 5 of my family’s phones and so far they have protected the screens from actually cracking.

The protectors have broken at least once on all the phones sometimes more but are replaced under the free replacement at Best Buy so that makes up for the price of the initial cost of the protector and the actual screens are not damaged (knock on wood).

Overall the added privacy filter is a little pricey compared to the price without the filtering feature. I think it added around $20 to the price of the regular one. Probably would have stuck with the non privacy as the extra price doesn’t really warrant the privacy you actually get.

I rated this as I “do recommend” in regards to the screen protection part as I do feel it is a good protector for your screen being damaged.

This is the best privacy shields that I’ve used for my phone. When viewed head-on, it is not distort what you are viewing but it is affective at concealing content when viewed from an angle (such as by people sitting next to you).

The shield is easy to install with the included placement guide and should not require professional help. The only downside is that the glass chips easily when dropped and once it gets its first chip, it will quickly crack all the way through.

While ZAGG offers a replacement warranty, I don’t have the patience to wait. Instead I buy two or three of these when they are on sale and expect each one to last about six months. People who are more gentle with her phone may get a longer life out of them.

Great quality. Definitely helps keep people from looking at what you have on your screen. The glass is great quality. Wished it was a little stronger, but I haven’t found any other glass protectors that are stronger.

The fit is pretty good especially when combined with a case. I do love the warranty on it. When I cracked mine, I just took it back and they exchanged it at no cost. Pretty quick and easy process. If you can get it on sale it’s definitely a great value.

At full price it is a bit expensive but worth it.

I had a small hole in my patio door screen right at the handle area. The repair kit was very easy to use. I cut a small piece of the patch, removed the backing and stuck it on the screen. Heated it with a hair dryer and the repair was complete.

You can see the patch, but it doesn’t stand out. Much easier and cheaper than replacing the whole thing.

This product freshly opening didn’t even have a sticky side. I attempted to guess what would be the sticky side. Used the hair dryer it stuck on 1 little corner and the rest fell off. Completely waste of money.

Great concept but did not follow thru.

My kitten sliced a screen on one of my windows and this stuff works! It’s so easy to use,just measure the size you need (eye it up) cut it,apply the coated side to the screen and heat up with a hair dryer and you’re done! I’ve only seen this product in the colors silver and charcoal.

I got this at Menards for like $7. 99.

The product is very easy to install, the touch screen is fantastic, and so far its very durable. The products size is almost an match to the visual screen. So when you see the phone, you can see the light from the visual screen underneath the privacy screen.

Id prefer it a bit bigger to cover that edge. The oil residue from fingers barely noticeable at all looking at the phone straight on. While looking at the phone from the side, its noticeable. I dont mind since its something that will not go away.

But I love how easy it is to wipe off.

I just noticed when I tilted my phone, you could not see the screen. Brilliant. We have all used screen protectors for years after we found out how expensive it is to replace a broken screen. I have never purchased the perfect screen.

With the template in place, when I layed the protective screen on the phoneit instantly adhered! No bubbles. No dust. No using a card to apply pressure. Dropped it on. Done. Great product guys! (And gals).

Honestly Im happy with my purchase but recently I upgraded my 12 pro max to 13 pro max and I tried the second left over screen protector to my 13 pro max. Accept the notch part everything is okay. Its been 3 months I have installed second screen protector into my new 13 pro max and dropped my phone accidentally several time.

Glad! My screen and phone both safe! I would say, voil! Thats what I was looking for my new babe!.

I just used this the 5th. The folds in the screening straightened out very easily. I didn’t have to use any heat. I just unfolded the screening, cut it about 2 inches longer and 2 inches wider than the frame.

Laying the frame on the table top I spread the screen over, and used very little tension to straightened it, pulling out the fold creases first. Then I seated the screen into the frame, then gently laid the provided new spline in, and pressed it into the groove with the nylon rolling tool provided.

It was that simple. After doing all four sides, and going back over the spline to be sure it was seat well all the way around. I cut the extra screen of with a utility knife, and it’s perfect, perfect fit, looks new can’t ask for more.

Well could ask for someone to put it in for me, but the labor costs alone would be above my pay-grade. No reason to hesitate now, it’s simple and so inexpensive. Plus I have enough left to door several screens the size of the storm door, or 7 the size of our storm windows.

I am glad I bought this! One problem, now I’m mad at the window company that did my last screen repair, for charging me so much! I could have bought 6 of these kits for what they charged. At that rate I could buy 6 resell five, at a 30% mark-up and profit $15 while am at it, not counting my ebay bucks rewards! Maybe next time I will, but it will be a long time.

I have enough screen to last me 12 years at least, barring any catastrophic events.

It was much easier to replace the screen in my storm door than I imagined it would be. Just watch a few videos online and with this kit you will be a pro in no time. It is one of those things you dread starting but in less than 5 minutes I had a new screen that looks professional and saved lots of time and money by not having to take it to be repaired.

This EXCEEDS my expectations for aftermarket displays. Sure, the digitizer may not be original as seen by the faint grid lines that only some can clearly see from different angles but the screen looks and works just like the original.

I was fixing up a nice refurbished iPhone 7 for my brother who is still on a 6 (yeouch) and I knew I needed it to last a long time. The digitizer even has the fingerprint-resistant coating the OEM iPhone displays have used since the 3GS and the screen doesn’t have that god ****ing awful yellow tint, dull color space, and poor viewing angles literally 99% of aftermarket screens have.

the item was defective, The proximity sensor didn’t work and the touch sensor didn’t work.

I replaced the screen on my iPhone X hoping for good things. A few bad experiences with generic iPhone LCDs in the past made me a bit skeptical, but this has been a pleasant surprise. Responsive, vivid and accurate.

It might even be clearer and brighter than my original LCD. No complaints whatsoever.

It was a very nice screen at first, however, failed after 2 moths or so of use. Bezel and screen separated due to weak adhesive. Flex cables on the module are to long and push up on the screen

It might not have the same quality of the original screen from the factory but this one does the job just right. It saved me a couple of hundreds probably from spending taking my phone to some other place to replaced my broken screen.

Other than the difficulty to put the it on it worked perfectly! It is VERY sticky, and QUITE difficult to get to lay down easily due to the small and fine nature of the area working.

Don’t wast your time with other adhesives. This is the one to get. Makes installation a breeze, and is very sticky.

Not sure what happened but it one day popped up with a line right down the middle, and within a month or two it just wouldnt turn on. Purchased used OEM screen and worked perfect. Good for the price Id have to say.

The screen works as it should but you can tell that it is a knock off. On the original screen, you can’t see the outline of the display but this one shows where the actually screen is when the screen is black.

I would not rate it as AAA.

only thing different about this from original is inside you will find 3 screws you will no longer need. where you move the ear piece from the old screen to the new one. other than that is great.

Perfect screen, all nessesary tools and manuals … I can only recommend. If you worry about a complexity of the screen change, it is very easy and took about 10 minutes!!! Just do it!

If you live in a rural area with limited carrier availability, DO NOT BUY A STRAIGHT TALK PHONE ONLINE. The phone itself is great but my middle of nowhere town does not have Verizon towers and the phone that I was sent is locked to them.

Straight Talk reps are not very knowledgeable about their service, phones or even the activation process. Even though my phone CAN operate on the correct towers they say they can’t switch it over until I complete 12 months of paid service.

which I can’t do since I can’t activate the phone. The superviser that I spoke with actually told me to just call Apple and they will switch the phone for an unlocked model or even unlock this one. After a long convo about the reasons and legalities of why Apple can’t carrier unlock any phone – legally, I think she got it.

However, no amount of explanations about how there is no way that Apple is going to exchange an unlocked phone for one thats box has been opened, setup and is locked to a carrier worked. This was my 8th call to them and all but 2 or 3 reps were completely without the knowledge to be of any assistance.

Now my son’s SURPRISE AWESOME Christmas gift is a wifi only phone and I am stuck with a non-refundable $35 plan card that I can’t use.

I got 2 new iPhone x’s both had issues the same day of purchase. The first one I got I plugged it into my computer to try and download things from my iTunes, and the phone had the loading signal that happens when you plug it into the computer, but the problem is it never synced, and it maintained the loading screen and the syncing signal wouldn’t go away.

I tried unplugging and replugging, restarting, manually resetting, nothing worked. I took it into the Apple store and was told they didn’t know what had happened to the phone, it malfunctioned for some reason.

Okay, great… so I take it back into Verizon and get it replaced with a new iPhone X, get a new case and screen protector, promptly get home and proceed to accidentally drop my phone on the ground. I have dropped many iPhones on the ground before and the worst thing to ever happen is a cracked screen, instead the screen got a green line right down the middle like the line in the picture for this review, I tried resetting it but it wouldn’t go away, so I had to return it yet again and I got an iPhone 8 Plus instead of the x because I didn’t want to have another issue with it.

Overall I do think Apple isn’t as good as it used to be, I think things go wrong after a couple years so you’re forced to upgrade to a newer model, but this phone was something else to begin with.

I’ve had so many iPhones, this was by far the WORST. Not only did I have to have one replaced due to the green line of death down the side showing up completely out of nowhere while I was using it, but the camera is absolute trash.

My iPhone 6 Plus took better photos. It does SO poorly in lower light, all the pictures are so grainy and terrible. Even taking pictures of the sunset on the beach I couldn’t get decent pictures. I absolutely hated this phone.

I didn’t even realize how insanely bad the camera was until I finally upgraded to the 12 pro max because I couldn’t stand the picture quality any longer. It was like I was using an iphone 5 for pictures they were that bad.

Do NOT buy this phone. For what it cost, it was absolutely not worth it. I wouldn’t even pay half the price for it. The only people who should maybe consider this are people who don’t take many pictures and don’t care about the quality of them.

I don’t know what Apple did when they made this phone, but they went back in time when it comes to that camera.

Works as advertised. Feels great and looks great. I use this to replace my old broken glass screen protector. Feels like using a new phone again! You can claim up to $150 if your phone’s screen break when using this product.

This product does protect. It will break if hit but your lens does not crack. And the best part is the Gadget Guard is replaced free if you break it.

The description says “without screen protector” but, in fact does have a screen protector built-in. It’s a very rugged and solid case. I like the colored front piece around the screen protector and the colored detail around the perimeter on the back.

It contrasts nicely with my black phone. It was super easy to attach to my phone and fits perfectly. It’s not waterproof or very water resistant, but it does a great job of protecting my phone from accidental drops and from getting scratched.

Worth its weight in gold in my opinion.

Bought my husband and son new iPhones for Christmas and bought these as temporary cases until I could buy super protective Otter Boxes for them. These are great! My husband drops his phone constantly! This case has protected that phone every time! My son’s phone never gets dropped and if it does, it lands on carpet.

Never did buy the Otter Boxes for them. These are working fine! The only complaint would be that dust and dirt somehow get in between the screen protector and the phone. But that also happens with my super expensive Otter Box.

so they are very similar and I don’t see that one is better than the other to be honest! Great buy!.
