11 Best Iphone 7 Plus Holster (2023 Updated)

This is the best iPhone protector! The other night I tripped in a dark parking lot and did a modified face plant with my iPhone, (screen down) in my right hand taking much of the fall’s impact. There was NO damage to the iPhone or Otter! I highly recommend this product to anyone who has ever been tripped or finds themselves in an dark unknown parking lot late at night.

I am just totally impressed and overall please with this Otterbox case. I think the materials they used on this case is top notch because unlike the Otterbox defender case its not big and bulky and also it dont have that rubbery back which made it very hard to take out and put my phone back in my pocket.

Its different when its something like an iPhone 5 because that phone is small but when your talking about something like the iPhone 7 plus or Galaxy note 8 these phones are just to big to have a case like that installed on them.

This case is also slim and just good looking, I love how it dont add much weight to my iPhone 7plus while also protecting the charging port from dust thanks to that rubber flap. Honestly I think the only thing they should work on is making the charging port hole a little bigger because one of my off brand chargers is almost to big for the cut out on the case.

I can still charger my phone just fine its just I like to have a little more wiggle room just in case. Overall I say this case is worth 5/5 stars because it gets about 95% of things right. Also if you plan on buying this case make sure to buy a screen protector! This case does NOT have a screen protector built in.

This is a repeat purchase. I put a more sturdy lanyard on case. Only flaw is plastic becomes dirty looking after several months use. Will probably purchase again.

The size is perfect, material is excellent and the finish is the right . . .

Really well made protection for my phone. Sturdy, all around cover with a good holster clip. I can even use the holster with other covers. Overall a really great purchase experience. Would highly recommend this product and company.

Very easy to remove and install your phone. Not too bulky either.

This case works beautifully as a quick way to get to my phone while still providing good protection. This “holster,” by definition isn’t stylish – that’s not how I roll. But it is functional. Now – the reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is that it is hefty when it doesn’t actually need to be.

The latching mechanism, oversized and easy to quickly grasp, probably could be 1/2 as thick and still do the job it needs to do. The belt clip is serviceable, but it will pull off the belt if I’m rotating the unit.

(Maybe that will improve once the rotation is “broken in. ?”) The case itself works flawlessly: all of the ports, buttons and openings are easily available and the raised ridge all around prevents the glass from hitting the ground.

I bought this case because the belt clip on my Platinum case broke. This case was less than half the cost of the Platinum case, so I was skeptical at first. However, I’ve been very happy with it. The clip doesn’t pivot like the Platinum case for holding the phone vertically or horizontally, but I didn’t use the horizontal feature of the Platinum case anyway.

In terms of protection, so far so good. I dropped my phone today on a hard tile floor and had no damage to my phone. The part that goes on the phone is also much easier to put on and take off than the Platinum case.

It was always very difficult to remove the Platinum case. So in short, this is a great value for a good phone case with a vertical belt clip.

This is the second time around to purchase the belt clip/ cover combo. Not only is this unit stylish and slim it does protect the phone well. Have already dropped my I phone twice and cold not find a tract ofdamage to th phoneor to the case for that matter.

Oh and yes it is way more durable for the price than my old Otter Box clunker which was way over priced, bulky and more prone to have the clip assembly break. I got the platinum color and it makes my phone look about r4 years newer !!.

Nice design- feels secure to grip and flexible dual frame with apparently good re-inforced corners. Slim design and easy to use buttons, but the question is always how it will hold up over time. I am very easy on my phone and very careful – dropped my old phone only once in 6 years.

Very easy to place on phone and comes with screen protectors included so you don’t have to buy separately. Looks like good depth protection for the camera also. So far, so good but just bought it. Great price and case comes with lifetime guarantee- can’t beat that.

This holster set up was exactly what I was looking for! It works perfectly with my Spigen screen protector. The case fits perfectly on the phone and provides a nice grip. It also fits securely into the holster, that seems to be solidly made.

Some of the edges on the holster clip seemed to be a little “pointy” for me. However, a few strokes from and emery board and it is just fine. Highly recommend!.

The weak spot on these covers IMHO is where you plug in the charging cable. This one is more rugged than the one it replaces. I like that and the corners are padded nicely. The button on the right side for closing and shutting down is very stiff.

Hoping it will ease up with use. Would recommend this case.

This product is good quality, but the description and pictures are sorely lacking. It was extremely difficult to be sure the product was what I wanted. As it turns out, it was not what I wanted. Had the description been and pictures been better, Iwould have ordered a different model!.

This is my second purchase of Encased XR case and I liked this one better than the one I had on mine so I kept this for me. Very slim and slides in and out of holster with ease. Would definitely recommend.

I have had Otterbox Defender cases since the days of my iPhone 4 and now in the days of iPhone 12, I’m still hanging in there with my iPhone 7. I am now retired, from years of Over the Road trucking.

I have never damaged any of my phones due to moisture, weather or dropping etc, and we are talking some 6 to 7ft drops climbing in and out of tractors. My only criticism is in regards to the holster clip.

The one on my old iPhone 4 is still in good shape, but everyone of the clips for my plus phones over the years have had to be replaced multiple times. I began ordering replacement clips several at a time.

I would like to see Otterbox use a less brittle plastic for their clips. As I read the comments in the reviews, I realized that I had forgotten about the Otterbox guarantees. Not sure if the holster clips are covered but holsters are relatively cheap to replace where as phones are not, and Otterbox Defenders have kept my phones safe since 2010.

Now in retirement I know longer fear for my phones the hardships of trucking life. But reading reviews of the Commuter and Symmetry cases and some comments regarding the feel of them as a bit slippery, my current Defender’s rubber encasement has a secure feel and grips surfaces well.

I think the Defender will be my Otterbox of choice for a long time to come.

I used the Otterbox on my old iphone SE (!), my work phone for thirteen years. Out of all the drops, scrapes and tumbles the phone went through, I never had a broken screen or a broken case. I was given an iphone 6 when my wife upgraded her phone, and ordered a case online.

The ad said it was an Otterbox, but when it came it wasn’t an Otterbox but a cheap knock-off. I put it on the phone anyway figuring some protection would be better than none. The next day I dropped the phone and the screen cracked! Since I carried insurance on the phone, I sent it in, but it was old enough that they subbed it for an iphone 8.

When I knew the model, I ordered a real Otterbox case. I’ve used it for three or four months, and no breaks or even scratches.

This is not the first phone I have had an otterbox on. After this is will definitely not be my last. The second phone I had in an otterbox (it was an iPhone 6) fell out of my hand while I was riding a motorcycle doing 80 and got ran over.

the only issue it had was the Bluetooth chip broke. it didn’t even crack back or front. This phone case I have had for 3 years not long in to having it the case did cracked but I kept using the case and it is in multiple pieces now the rubber outside is really what is keeping everything together.

I am very prone to dropping phones and the only thing that is broken is the back of my phone. About a month ago someone reminded me about the warranty. I didn’t think they would replace my case with the fact I bought it so long ago.

I put in my request and saw the email that my claim was being reviewed. Within a day they were sending me a new case! Everyone who says anything about case I always sing my praises of these cases. This only reinforces my love for these cases and this company.

This provides great protection for your phone! However, this is my third clip. If your not careful the clip will pop off. If you drop it the right way or it gets snagged on your pants.

These things are about the only way to get a clip for a 6+. I’ve purchased several over the years. They always break. This vendor was fine, however.

I bought this product for an APPLE 6S. The product stated that this clip would work but it is too big. I’m sure this product would be fine for the right phone but it’s not going to fit a 8/7/6S/6 as stated.

I work in construction and all my belt holsters break for my phone. NOT THIS ONE. absolutely amazed at how it has held up. Clip is very very durable. It has not lost its “grip” either. Phone stays in and it stays clipped on my pocket.

The best feature besides it’s strength is how easily the phone goes into it, very little force required. Then simple lift the tab and phone is out without catching or getting stuck. I love it. If something does ever happen with the one I have I will definitely buy another without thinking twice.

I love this holster and it blows Otterbox cheap plastic one of of the water, doesn’t even compare to this one!! You will not be disappointed I promise. I have it for iPhone 7 +.

Solid Product!!! A lot better material and clip strength than the cheaper non brand one on the market. Def get what you pay for. I made the mistake of buying the generic version of the lifeproof compatible clip.

Boy was it very cheaply made. Glad I went back to ebay and bought the compatible brand. Cheaper one had some very sharp edges on top of clip. very dangerous as you bend over.

This holster clip is so much simpler AND cheaper than the one Lifeproof sells. The phone slips into bottom and a clip like piece clips over the top. There is a clip on back that you can clip onto your pants, belt, or jacket.

The plastic is slightly flexible, so I wouldn’t say it’s just straight hard plastic. All in all, for the price, this is exactly what I needed to be able to clip the iPhone 7 onto my waist band.
