20 Best Iphone 6 Privacy Screen (2023 Updated)

I have had problems with BodyGuardz Pure Edge. Within six months there were bubbles around the edge on my I phone 8. When I had my I phone 6 I used this safety glass and never had a problem. I had it about 4 years.

I doesn’t seem to fit quit as well on the I phone 8. BodyGuardz has always been really good about replacing my safety glass, with no trouble, when I get the bubbles around the edge. Thank you for that BodyGuardz.

BodyGuardz now sends me the BodyGuardz Pure 2 Edge Glass and the last one that was replaced lasted about a year. I just replaced the glass about 2 weeks ago. I hope it will last longer.

worse yet. after a couple of weeks, the protectors began pulling away from the display altogether. Your people were very responsive, with each replacement attempt handled quickly, easily, and at no cost to me.

On the third attempt, they sent me the Pure 2 Edge. I am now fully satisfied. This one has a much narrower halo gap, very acceptable, and after a month or so it is showing no tendency to expand into the display area.

This product is absolutely a life saver!! I have had to replace my screen protector 7-8 times but thanks to this product my body guardz screen protector has taken the impact and never my phone screen saving me thousands of dollars!! 100 percent recommend!!.

Rather than being smooth, the slight roughness of the surface of the case makes my phone hard to drop. Also the compartment is perfect for holding some business cards. There were many cases to choose from and this was a good choice.

This tint film is not wide enough to cover iPhone 7 screen completely. It reduces screen quality significantly as well. The upper cutout is just poor design in itself as over time it will live permanent mark on your screen.

I got the screen for my neighbor. It was easy to install. She loved that it wasnt Glass cuz she always seems to break hers all the time. In all great product & she loves it. Now she can text about someone sitting right next to her.

I’ve owned every iPhone since the first one and boy have screen protectors changed over the years. The last couple of generations I’ve bought a variety of screen protectors due to cost and upgrading regularly.

However, the quality of screen protectors are no where near as good as the Zagg products. I decided to buy a clear one, but it did not fit too well and had several air bubbles that altered the picture quality.

I swapped it out with their lifetime warranty for this Privacy+ screen protector and it’s day and night. The privacy is nice but does dim the picture quality and bright a tad bit, but on the other hand it seems have a positive effective on my eyes.

(less strain and soreness). The added dual privacy has been really nice as well that my fiance even noticed. Overall a great product would recommend this over the clear one.

This Zagg Glass shield was probably the easiest one I’ve ever installed. It goes on dry and since it’s a very stiff piece of plastic, it lays very well on the phone. The key is to make sure you get all the dust off the phone and don’t stir any up by moving around too much 🙂 If you mess up, it’s very forgiving.

You just lift it back up and start over. The touch is very sensitive on the iPhone so there’s no redoing the touch because it missed. It seems to always do exactly what is expected. The surface of the Zagg Glass is very smooth so your finger glides nicely over it.

The installation process in simple! This screen protector adds great protection to the iPhone screen as well as adding privacy so that people sitting next to you can’t see the screen. I love my ZAGG privacy glass screen protector and I recommend it to all of my friends.

This is the brand to have and the glass is so smooth, you think its the actual iPhone screen. The privacy puts you in a good set of mind when entering passwords or reading emails. I’m happy with my purchase and think you will be too.

I have not a single problem with this screen protector. I got it due to “prying eyes” while I was texting on my phone. Now I don’t have to worry about who’s looking because they can’t see diddly squat of what I’m doing to begin with now.

I was given two different products to test for the same function on the same day: 3m’s natural view screen protector and belkin’s screen protector for the kindle fire. As both my wife and myself received a fire for christmas, i had an opportunity to test the products side by each.

The 3m product went on her’s and the belkin went on mine. We applied each as instructed and it was a hands down runaway win for the belkin product. Belkin bested 3m on three major counts:1) though neither ever became “bubble free”, belkin’s bubbles reside near the very edge while 3m’s was a fight to get bubbles out of the middle.

The main reason why is that belkin included an edger that slowly pushed the bubbles to the edge when applying while 3m’s did not. 2) though i have no way a measuring such a small plane, it sure feels like the belkin cover it thicker.

It had no sliding issues, a problem the 3m product demontrated when applying, and it seems more fingerprint resistant. 3) the belkin product came with a nice cleaning cloth, which was very handy when we elected to remove the filmy looking 3m product from my wife’s kindle fire.

I still have the belkin product in place on mine, but her’s was just a pain to use and didn’t last 14 days before it had to go. I didn’t give very high marks to either product in the long run because it remains definite if you really need them at all.

True, my protected screen requires less wipe downs, but that is a 15 second effort. The gorrilla glass of the kindle fire seems very strong to me, and the slick protectors will not protect the device from water – they only cover the screen – so in the end i would say – if you have to use your fire in a greasy situation with a lot of finger transfered prints and yucky stuff, get the belkin.

Other, don’t bother at all.

I expected the installation for this glass screen protector to be very easy. The phone is set in a mold, resulting in perfect alignment. However, it was difficult to get the case to adhere to the screen.

One reason why I knocked off a star is because there is still a slight ring around the edge of the protector that didn’t fully stick to the screen. There were no bubbles in the middle though. The privacy feature of this screen protector works well.

If someone tries to look at my phone at an angle, all they could see is a black screen. That being said, the other minor reason why I gave 4 stars is that my phone screen seems to have lower resolution with this screen protector in place.

It may just be me, but I feel that the screen looks ever so slightly pixelated. It’s not a huge bother, and I’ll continue to use this screen protector – at least until I drop my phone enough times and it cracks.

So far, I’ve dropped my phone several times already and there isn’t even a scratch!.

This screen protector was easy to apply, and the privacy screen does exactly what it is supposed to! On initial application, I followed the directions (very clear), and there were still bubbles on the screen.

I was so mad at myself, I spent 30 minutes trying to get them out. I went to bed, and the next morning the bubbles were gone. My advice: give the screen some time to settle before being upset with yourself.

I would give a 5 star review except for only one thing: my screen has a small crack in it after about a week of use, and I do not recall dropping my phone. I feel that the screen is a bit sensitive to cracking.

Because it is a privacy screen, it is thicker than other screen protectors, so that could contribute. My last note: I have a white IPhone, so the screen shows up significantly on the front of the phone.

If you have black, you will hardly notice it. Just be aware that it will be very obvious if you have a lighter colored phone! Overall though, good product. Worth the buy!.

This screen protector came in a really sturdy metal case-no chance of being damaged while shipped. It is really easy to put on. I had to really push the last small remaining bubbles out. I used my thumb nail under the provided cloth.

It really hurt, but I didn’t want those annoying bubbles. The protector is high quality and feels smooth to touch. It is easy to clean with the provided cloth. When I need to show my phone to a cashier, to scan a barcode coupon or scan my ticket at a museum it works perfectly! Sometimes I watch videos on my phone and I can’t see clearly from any angle wider than about 30 degrees.

If it would be possible to see at greater angles, while within 3 feet of the phone, that would be perfect. That being said, this will keep your phone screen just to yourself. It is perfect if privacy is your number one factor when getting a screen protector.

I can succinctly say, it would be great, if it worked. First off the screen protector on my iPhone SE does not extend to the edge, it’s too small. Using stickers as a hinge works better in theory than in practice, they were not stable to hold the screen protector in place.

It’s ridiculously finicky and I had to guide it in by hand. Now the edges are turned up where I had to pry it off and reposition it. My advice is put the hinge stickers on the bottom edge of the phone – they should say this in instructions, it would have made it easier to peel off the protective sheet the way they want.

The hinge sticker should ideally be one big sticker the size of a post it. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Wouldn’t pay full price – bought on sale ($2. 99) while purchasing a case. Alcohol swab to clean the screen was completely dry, the cleaning cloth left more fibers than before wiping, and the alignment stickers didn’t stick to the protector so ended up just eyeballing the placement.

The protector is still not fully sticking (i. e. lifting up from all 4 edges) to the screen. Will likely replace at some point but is doing the job to protect the screen for now!.

came free with my case purchase, and i stuck it on my brand new phone. no bubbles at first. however, over time i began to see air at the edges, particularly around the phone notch. i can press the air out, but it slowly returns.

my only guess as to why this happens is that the screen protector is cut slightly too large, causing air to enter at all the open edges. it was free, so i’m being lenient with rating. and yes i followed all instructions and centered precisely.

I just installed it on my iPhone 7 It’s easy to install after just looking at the instruction, feels nice touching the screen no finger prints and the 4 way privacy is really good I don’t have to turn the screen light to the max in order to see the screen I just have it on the middle.

I have wasted money buying different brands NO comparison to this one In my opinion.

It was perfect and came right on time! Works really well. Its not too dark to the point you cant see your on screen when looking directly at it.

I am naturally harder on my phone than I intend to be. I’ve tried many screen protectors and they still failed. I either had bubbles, or I would scratch through. With the SaharaCase screen protector I haven’t been able to make a scratch appear on it.

Also after a long day of using my phone, there’s no smudgy fingerprints. One of the best features is that people around you cannot see what’s on your phone. With the privacy glass unless you are directly in front of the screen, the screen looks black from outside angles.

Overall one of the best screen protectors I’ve found, hands down.

I thought the privacy screen would be more private than it is. You have to turn your phone about 70 degrees to block it out from anyone view. I’m still happy with it. Came with the tools needed to clean and place the new screen, and it’s tough so you don’t have to worry if you drop something on it.

Would be 5 stars if the privacy part worked better. But I’m still happy with it. 3/5 stars.

This glass is great. with the plus everyone can see your screen, but the privacy glass changes everything. This is my second one. I’ve dropped my phone before and really thought I’d have cracks in my screen but the protector really worked! Can’t wait to get this for my new 7 plus.

This is my second time purchasing this particular screen protector and it does its job. I have a toddler that constantly takes a hold of my phone, claiming it as her own, and for the amount of drops she give it, it’s holds up.

Not to mention, the privacy aspect of it, is an added bonus.

This privacy glass screen protector is great! Item arrived packed well. It actually came with a very easy to use tray system for attaching it to your phone. Came with a micro fiber and a lint collector sticker.

When it came time to attach the glass to my phone I was impressed how easy the steps were. What was more impressive was how perfectly aligned the glass was on my screen. I worked out the bubbles pretty hard but they all came out.

The glass feels amazing on my fingers when I use my phone now. It really is fingerprint resistant. I can barely tell it’s on my phone. The privacy really does work and I’m glad I can do important things without worrying about prying eyes.

The Belkin SCREENFORCE privacy screen is a great option for anyone wanting to add good screen protection. The screen feels solid, was easy to apply, and suffered no bubbles like other types of non-glass screen guards often encounter.

I was most intrigued by the privacy feature of the screen, and that was the main reason I wanted to add it. I wasn’t sure if it would work all that well, but I am highly satisfied with how much it cuts down the viewable angle of my phones screen.

This isn’t a big deal at home, but when out it’s nice to know people won’t won’t be sneaking glances at whatever is up on my screen. As I expected, there is a slight dimming of the brightness at a direct angle with the screen applied, but, it is a minimal effect.

Touch sensitivity was not affected at all, with the phone’s screen jut as responsive as before. I did not feel like trying any phone drops, as I really didn’t want o break anything, but I do feel this screen will help protect the phone screen itself should that ever happen.

Lastly, I was pleased to see the phone still fit inside my particular case with no issues. So, if you want screen protection and some added privacy, this is a great choice! Just remember to thoroughly clean the screen before application! You don’t want dust or smudges stuck under any screen protector!.

I’m a huge proponent of always having some form of screen protection on my Apple products. I won’t use a new device until I have something installed on it because I have learned the hard way. I’m pretty impressed with this Belkin screen protector so far.

One complaint I have had with other brands has been with the installation. This protector was very easy to install with the alignment jig. Belkin also has a pretty decent video that explains the process as well.

The optical quality of the glass also seems to be of high quality. It’s a real bummer to buy a screen protector and then be disappointed when it distorts the colors and clarity of these awesome Apple device screens.

I haven’t had to test out the 2 yr warranty (thankfully) of the protector yet and hopefully won’t have too. but it’s nice to know that I don’t have to buy a new piece of glass if I accidentally crack it somehow.

That being said I have dropped my phone a few times and have crossed my fingers that it didn’t crack. It’s taken a few good hits and so far, so good!.

It is glass and hopefully tough. We shall see. But it does go on with ease (only two tiny, permanent bubbles). The lack of lucid descriptive material for application is very disconcerting. The labeled sticker substitutes do not serve to make it easy.

Glass iPhone screen protector, When I had a 5S iPhone I ordered this and it covered the entire screen and had a circle for the home button. None of the 6S protectors, this brand and all others I’ve seen, cover the entire screen.

Maybe so they can make it fit all types of phones. But a portion of your screen is not protected. Also the old one had a circle for the home button and this one has a horseshoe-shaped slot and that is not what it showed in the picture.

I am not going to use it because I already have one just like it from another brand. I was hoping to find one like the old one. Great quality and easy to apply. The seller is GREAT!!!.

All of the specs are correct and the protector arrived as advertised. After following the instruction to prep and clean my phone, I open removed the protective film from the screen saver to find a 2-3″ scratch on the screen protector.

I tried cleaning both sides but the scratch remains.

This item has the quality of screen protectors costing 4x the price. It is easy to apply, comes with everything necessary to do a professional installation and the material is the same as the very most expensive ones.

In the end, there are no bubbles, and this screen protector works very well and looks very nice. I didn’t notice any reduction in the sensitivity of the touch screen. I think that it actually cleans up easier than the glass did.

I got this to protect an already badly cracked display. I will say that the instructions are a bit long and tedious but it is actually quite easy to put on. At first, I was a bit horrified the first day after waiting overnight, because I did the “wet” install and was careful to get all the bubbles out, but there were bubbles the next day.

Interestingly, they eventually all went away though without having to squeeze them out. And, now it looks and fits perfectly. So, if you get some bubbles after installation, don’t panic because for me they seemed to eventually escape out.

I ordered this as a screen protector replacement for my One +8 phone. the language was confusing as it advertised it as though it would fit. it doesn’t actually fit, made for an Iphone, with cutouts in places not meant for my phone.

The Size was close enough and since my prior protector was trashed and I had already paid for it, I gave it a try. The flimsy film protector took a long time to adhere with the soapy water and where the screen is curved it has lifted up on the edges with air bubbles after only a week.

Virtually impossible to put phone case back on without lifting the screen protector edges on the curve. I wouldn’t recommend this product for One Plus phones. I’ll look more closely before ordering something like this again.

This product is not what I was hoping for.

Installation was decently easy with no major hiccups or challenges but still wet installations comparatively aren’t as easy — the Spigen Glas. tR EZ Fit tempered glass installation on another phone I have was ridiculously easy.

Post installation the film looks holds well, there aren’t any bubbles, and has good clarity but finger prints can be seen depending on the lighting — a difference in comparison to tempered glass which resists fingerprints.

No issues with touch screen responsiveness though friction might be a little more than desired. I have dry skin so I find tempered glass too slippery and prefer film. Lastly, I can’t speak to long term durability yet but if any durability issues arise, I will come back and update this post.

The description lists iPhone 6s Plus compatibility, however the screen protector actually covers the forward-facing camera lens, obscuring it. The filter causes images to be blurred. A lso, the screen is darkened so you have to turn the brightness all the way up, which will ultimately drain your battery faster.

I probably wouldn’t have purchased this particular screen protector if I had known all this, but it’s too late now as the package is open and the protector is stuck to my phone. I hope it at least protects the phone as advertised.

This glass privacy screen protector was super easy to put on. Came with a cleaning kit to prep phone. Used the kit, placed glass on phone -no bubbles first time! Very private as well. Tested it out and One quarter inch turn away from someone sitting next to you and they can’t see screen at all.

Does it’s job but cracks and peels easily. Dropped it on carpet got a huge crack on the screen protector but not my screen. I’m glad the company supplies you with two shields because you’re going to need both.

I bought this for an iPhone 12 pro. This screen protector is a lot nicer than similar, flexible plastic versions, and feels like it will provide superior protection. It certainly seems more scratch proof than one I had on a previous phone.

It is totally invisible when the phone is illuminated and you just forget that it is there. The fit is perfect. Applying it was mildly tricky (lining up properly) but it was easy to re-position when I realised I was slightly misaligned – before actually sticking it down properly.

Unrelated, but the first one I ordered came damaged. Skinnydip replaced it free of charge, immediately, no hassle. So top marks for customer service too – and it’s reassuring to know that you’re not taking a risk when buying something!.

My daughter accidentally dropped her iPhone faced down on a beach of pebbles. We all took an large intake of breath, because surely the screen would have been broken despite the glass screen protector.

The protector was obviously damaged, but the iPhone came out without even a scratch. We ordered a replacement straight away. With a Skinny Dip phone cover and screen protector, her phone it’s as protected as it ever can be.

After reading some of the other reviews I was sceptical about getting this. But I got it for £5 after buying a case. I work in a phone shop so I have seen brands like Zagg and tech21 and I have used Amazon versions.

This one from Skinnydip is brilliant. It has a great feel when typing and fully fits the screen edge to edge. The only difference is Skinnydip do not offer a warranty- but for £20 difference what does this matter?! 100% recommend.
