I’ve been having an awesome time with my iPad thanks to the PaperLike. It has completely changed my drawing experience and I’m loving the feel of every stroke on my drawing apps. It’s just so good! There’s just one tiny thing.

There have been moments where my Apple Pencil gets this intense resistance out of nowhere, as if it hit a groove or a pothole of sorts, and gets stuck for a second. It like a gritty feeling texture. I immediately check my Pencil tip to look for abrasions and thankfully nothing harmful has happened yet.

It happens occasionally and I’ve tried to capture this issue on my phone but I miss it every time. I don’t know if this is a real issue with the product or if it’s just me, but I thought to put it across nevertheless.

Since the recurrence is low, I just ignore it. The experience as a whole has been brilliant. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. It’s a must-have for a smooth drawing experience on the iPad! Thank you to all the amazing designers at PaperLike! Keep up the good work for helping us creatives!😁.

I bought this over a year ago and wanted to do a long term review. I work in research and medical education and started using an iPad with pencil for both. Basically I had need of something that could allow me to annotate drawings and papers for research and to make videos and educational material.

The glass surface, reflectance and fingerprint smudge on the iPad screen make this basically impossible for professional, ongoing work The Paperlike is well made; its lasted a year of robust use (5 days per week; about 2-5 hours use per day).

The surface is as advertised – like paper. The friction is just right and actually makes using the iPad as a note-taking or annotating or drawing tablet a lot more feasible. I am surprised how little the image quality suffers – I bought a cheaper matte screen protector for my MacBook and the difference is really obvious.

The Paperlike is clearly better designed and the image quality is preserved and brightness minimally affected by the layer on the screen. I would highly recommend this for university students who are using the iPad as a note keeping tool which is the usual use case I run into.

And for people who use the tablet and pencil as a Wacom-type device with Sidecar or screen mirroring with their main laptop/PC. If you need to use the iPad as a workhorse drawing tablet of any kind I cannot see how that is possible with the iPad screen as it comes out of the box Finally I the service was professional and everything arrived as requested and rapidly after ordering from this site.

I was not offered this as a test sample etc so have not been compensated or commissioned in any way for this review. Impressed. I would suggest they consider making a good quality matte screen protector for macbooks – I would buy it because the ones available on the market are rubbish by comparison to their excellent product.

And I think there’s a market out there for people who prefer a matte finish to their screens for reflectance and smudge issues.

I was thrilled to receive this screen protector from onn, as I recently received my iPad mini as a gift without one. This screen protector is not only very high quality but it was also very easy to apply.

It took me all of 60 seconds to remove from the box and apply to my iPad. The QuickStart guide was very informative and easy to read. Also, the screen cleaner wipe and cloth are great to have as my iPad gets fingerprints all over.

This screen protector was relatively easy to fit on my iPad. I was skeptical about using this at first, but I am happy I did. Simple to apply and dries nicely. I was really surprised at the results, this really worked, seems to protect my screen well.

The onn glass screen protector is a solid iPad protector. It is crystal clear and easy to install. The only issue I had was getting all of the air bubbles out and the home button cutout doesn’t fit over all of my home button.

BUT!!!! It I am still 100% able to use without restriction.

Right out of the box you’re given two screen protectors, a greeting card, and a small installation kit consisting of two wet wipes, a cloth, guide stickers, and dust stickers. What’s nice about paperlike is that they do collaborations with different artists who uses their product so I believe that it changes depending on the season.

First off, the screen protectors are thin. Like paper-thin. So it may seem very intimidating which is how I felt initially. Try to install it in a dust-free environment, I’ve heard that the bathroom works best because of the vents.

I did it with my air purifier on and an overhead light to see if there’s any dust after cleaning. I also recommend watching the tutorial, a few times, pause and do the installation step by step. I’ve done a few installations in the past but it dust is ALWAYS my number 1 enemy.

Then the rest is history. I had high expectations for paperlike – since so many of my friends use it for calligraphy but I was a little disappointed as I was hoping for more “scratchiness” – yes I’m that weird one that really enjoys that sound.

There were some areas that I noticed that the friction wasn’t there so I replaced the nib of my pencil to see if it would do the trick and it did increase a little but my pencil still glide pretty smoothly.

Note: Because it is a matted finish screen protector your iPad’s image resolution may look a little lower/fuzzier not horrible but noticeable vs glossy. Which is expected of a matte finish. If you’re just looking for a screen protector for your iPad – honestly you probably don’t need it as the glass on the iPad is pretty tough.

However, if you’re going to be writing/drawing/lettering on your iPad and want that “paperlike” feel, I’d highly recommend it.

We couldn’t find this item in stores so we had to order the screen protector online. The item was slightly damaged when we received it. Prefer to purchase items in the store so you know it’s not damaged.

This product is very user friendly. There are clear and easy instructions to follow, plus a video on youtube for additional guidance. The screen protector feel like glass and not like a cheap film.

New protector screen was purchased and installed at Best Buy. It was a very smooth process and looked great when done.

perfect fit. actually applied this to an iPad 4 AFTER the screen was damaged. a new iPad 4 screen was over $200, not really worth it. but this tempered glass will limit the further damage and splinters falling off.

Very easy to apply. It was shipped very securely and packaged nicely. I feel much more secure using the screen now and am not worried about finger prints as much. I can now clean the screen saver instead of my screen on the iPad, which I think is safer.

Screen protector does a fine job of eliminating marks and scratches on my I-pad. Nice to have the Geek Squad install also. I understand it can easily crack during this. Their expertise takes the stress out of these kinds of things.

I am very pleased that this does what it says. Specifically blocks out most of the blue light coming off a tablet. After suffering insomnia for years and wondering if it was the blue light I stopped using the tablet within an hour or two before going to bed.

It worked so bought this shield so I could use it right up to going to sleep. It worked because I’ve slept well throughout the night ever since. Installation was pretty simple. I followed the directions to a t and successfully installed the shield.

BUT I still have 2 smaller bubbles I can’t get out. There were a few big ones that disappeared when I continued to press on them so all that’s left are these small bubbles. For the most part these are not visible when using the iPad so I’m not too upset about them.

There is some minor glare, or reflection from light but if that’s what it takes to get the blue light protection, then good with me. It’s not a big enough problem to worry about imo.

I am trusting the science behind this as I am hoping to use this for eBooks as well as general use and note taking – so my review concentrates on other aspects:1) Fairly easy to fit but take great care cleaning the screen first and removing all dust.

2) The alignment template is just OK – not the greatest fit on my iPad Mini 6 but does the job. 3) Be aware that the screen protector gives a very shiny finish which is not as aesthetically pleasing as the screen would be without the protector on.

I have used a lot of protectors over the years and most are quite neutral in their finish. This one is really mirror like though especially when the iPad is powered off. I’m sure I will get used to it.

4) Everything looks good in dark mode but not so good when dark mode is not selected. In light mode things look a bit washed out and whites look cream. The protective shield then seems to “float” above the actual screen which personally I do not like.

I have bubbles that I can’t get rid of. Have used screen protectors before and I am very careful putting them on. Used the applicator but I think it is still a very tiny bit off and when I put the ipad back in it’s clip-in folder I get even more bubbles along the edge.

Really upset by this as it was so expensive and it is on a brand new ipad. Don’t know what to do but I can’t get rid of one big bubble at the bottom and a small one developing around the home button and then the ones in each corner when I put the ipad back.

Wish I’d got a normal screen protector and really can’t recommend this one.

I have to give you just a smidge of background before you can fully understand the extent of appreciation I have for this appliance! So I’m the mother of 3 grade-school aged kids. My children believe that “my” iPad is “their” iPad.

They run around the house with it, hide in the basement with it,. it’s very much a beloved toy that they treasure their allotted time with. Being such a valued, and shared, item, it gets A LOT of wear and tear.

When I dropped my iPhone in the garage and the screen cracked, BodyGuardz was recommended to me by the mobile phone company. I purchased one for my new phone and *knew* I would never have another hand held device without this protection.

After only 3 days of having my iPad, my kids dropped it. On its corner. On marble flooring. Needless to say, it appeared to be destroyed. They were all amazed at how I was able to simply remove the cracked screen and the device appeared to be like new! The replacement plan is so amazing and it makes these appliances quite honestly, an absolute necessity.

The first body guard that I purchased with my new IPad mini protected my screen in a fall. The bodyguard cracked and I was afraid that the screen did too. I thought to leave it on for over a year this was because the crack was a small one and I was afraid that if I removed it the screen would be damaged too.

I finally went to my Att store and had the salesman remove the old one and my screen was good. Since the old bodyguard was warranted I ordered a new one. I tried to put it on the iPad but there kept being airpockets and the new bodyguard was never right.

I finally threw it away in total disgust. I am now free of any shield over my screen. I am not going to pay the exhorbanant price to get a new one. Very unhappy.

Bodyguards installation technique and instructions are excellent except for one major detail. The environment needed for installation MUST be dust-free. Therefore I don’t recommend installing this in even the cleanest home.

I installed this in a room with an air purifier and ended up with several specks of unremovable dust under the protector. The dust-removable strips provided were ineffective as the particles were stuck to the protector, not the glass.

The strips are too short as well, to reach any further than about 1. 5 inches from the edge. In addition, attempting to lift the edge to retrieve the particles can damage the edge seal: all resulting in one very frustrating Installation if you have ANY dust around.

The final result is the very best of protectors. I do however have several raised spots of unremovable dust.

Glass is sturdy and protective but the adhesive isn’t strong enough to prevent bubbling and the glass is a little too thick so the iPad fails to register soft touches. Other than that, no serious issues so it’s a decent buy for the price but there are better options.

order this for my iPad mini 5. Came with alcohol wipes that were dry. okay screen protector but does make air bubbles hard to take out.

Although they include some brief instructions with the shield, they are not complete. They suggest going to their ZAGG website for complete instructions on installation which I didn’t do. The holes on the protector will line up with the frame only one way correctly.

I ended up with the screen protector not fitting right. I finally removed it and repositioned it. It did fit right the second time, but ended up with a few bubbles that won’t rub out. But it is a great screen protector.

Easy to see through and less chance to give me a headache. Maybe it is the blue light filtering that works. I’d recommend, but go online to fit it correctly (unless you do this all the time and are familiar with it).

I got this for my 7 year old son for Christmas to go on his new iPad. He spends a lot of time playing Minecraft and watching YouTube kids on the iPad so it was very nice to find a product that blocks harmful blue light.

For anyone wondering, it does not visibly alter the image in any way. If you didn’t know it was there you wouldn’t be able to tell. It was very easy to apply the screen protector thanks to the plastic frame that is included in the kit.

The screen protector has a fingerprint-resistant coating which is very easy to keep clean.

I swear by zagg products, their warranty policy is unmatched. However, I was disappointed in this screen protector mainly because it has a huge cutout at the top. Almost like a large notch, except there’s no reason for it since the only thing on the front of this iPad is the camera hole.

I like my screen protectors to cover as much glass as possible. I might look for something else….

There were no labels on the different screen cleaning components nor directions in the package for preparing the screen. The online video was no help. Ended up with an air bubble under the corner of my IPad mini.

So far so good on this screen protector. I have normally purchased the pricier zagg protectors, but this one is holding up, was fairly easy to install, and seems to be decent quality. I would recommend this product.

I read the reviews about this item. Most mentioned easy installation. That’s the reason why I purchased it. And it was so simple to install in seconds. It’s protecting my cracked screen so that my screen does not crack even more.

I like it a lot, but after a few months it has started to loosed. iPad sits on my table, and gets used at home with a great Speck cover. I like the screen shield, but it’s not as long lasting as I’d like.

I got this for my Ipad mini that my daughter uses. It has gone through drops, tosses and tumbles and the glass is still in perfect working order. It would be nicer to have an easier way to get replacements sent to me when i need it one, but besides that it is totally worth every penny.

After struggling with plastic screen protectors in the past this was a revelation. So so easy to fit I could not believe how easy it went on. Not a bubble in sight. So good I bought the same type for my new iPhone.

Zagg tempered glass from now on.

Pulled it out of the package, read the directions, cleaned the screen with the supplied materials, lined it up on the screen, let it go and it just like sucked the shield right onto the screen, never had to press or rub it, no bubbles or any sign of dirt under the shield.

It’s worth the money to get a good quality shield. Looks great.

As I will be using my iPad Mini 4 outdoors, I opted for the anti-glare version for better visibility. The clarity of the screen is ever so slightly muted due to the surface texture but not enough to worry about at all.

I will have to say that the installation is tricky though. I found that if you use the included dust removal stickers as a position holding hinge before removing the protective sheet that the installation will be easier.

I had to lift the protector more than a few times to remove the small bubbles around the edges. Once all of the bubbles are gone, it looks great. The matte finish does help reduce fingerprint smudges.

In all honesty, I do need to say that the touch response is ever so slightly reduced as well but I quickly got used to it and soon realized that it was not a bad thing at all. Overall, I recommend this screen protector.

I cannot begin to say enough good things and rave about how great the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector is! The whole line of Balistic Glass screen protectors are great too! I first got the Ballistic Glass screen protector for my iPhone 6 and later got the one fort iPad after seeing how amazing it is! It is like any screen protector, it sticks to your screen, but what is sooooo different is that it is a actual sheet of glass that if dropped, scratched or anything were to happen to damage the screen the ballistic glass is the glass that will take the hit and protect your actual iPads glass screen.

So some say well if it falls and the ballistic glass shatters why is it worth my money, well it’s worth every cent because as stated the ballistic glass shattered, not your actual iPads glass screen, it has done its job.

Other plastic screen protectors will still cause you screen to crack or shatter, just not all other the place so it really does not preserve the actual glass screen. I suggest and highly recommend buying this product and best place for the best price is off of amazon.

I was looking for tempered glass screen protectors for ipad and I don’t know why this popped up, I thought it was a good deal and ordered it but when I received it I was disappointed it was plastic. Well this is a good quality plastic but just like any other plastic it creates bubbles and it is hard to install since it bends when trying to put it on.

This is the reason of the 3 stars. I have used glass screen protectors for so long that anything less just does not meet my expectations. Even a the best plastic protectors. Just a recommendation for everyone even the cheapest glass screen protectors looks better than the best plastic.

And read the description word for word since it might not be exactly what you searched for.

I’ve been waiting for Insignia to release their screen protector for iPad mini 6th generation and it’s finally arrived! Great quality like always and in my household, we have an iPad Air, iPad mini, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 mini all protected with Insignia Screen Protectors.

Easy installation with a great dust stick remover that has a new extended flap to hold with your finger. The glass screen protector itself feels high quality and does a good job resisting most finger prints.

Feels great to touch and iPad mini is perfectly responsive. Highly recommended screen protector versus the pricier bigger name brands.

This glass screen is excellent! You cannot tell it’s there. The images on my iPad mini are so crystal clear and there are hardly finger traces on it after I use it. Also, finger prints are easy to wipe off.

It was easily installed. I recommend it to anyone, it’s worth investing in this protection for the device.

This is a good product at a good price. You can get a slightly better Zagg shield for a lot more money. Its hard to justify the extra cost. You can also get cheaoer glass shields but theyre not as protective.

Tbis sits nicely in the middle and works well.

I’d heard that these were tricky to install, but didn’t expect it to be all that hard, wrong. After following the instructions explicitly, I still ended up with micro particles causing bubbles that were impossible to squeeze out to the edges as indicated in instructions.

I have an iPad Pro 12. 9, and that screen is very fragile (just replaced it) and did not want to put any more pressure on it trying to get bubbles out. The initial alignment is almost impossible to get right without multiple tries, and this may have led to getting particles of space matter between the protector and the iPad screen, just not sure, but I had cleaned in accordance with the instructions and using the supplied materials from Tech folks.

I’d still like to have a protector on my iPad, just not this one.

**Update** I have now been banned by Tech Armor and no longer able to by their items. Shows you what kind of company they are. ** These must be old repurposed iPad screen protectors. If you had purchased TA protectors for an iPad AIR 1 or 2 before you know the difference in quality, smoothness and hardly no pixelation compared to their iPad 2, 3 and 4 protectors which completely pixelate the display and feel like 1000 grit sandpaper.

The extra heavy matte makes the display horrible. It looks worse then a 1st gen iPad. It’ll even sand your skin raw if you playing fighting or games that requires you to constantly slide your finger around.

Avoid it until they start using the same high quality protectors as the iPad Air’s and Pros.

iPad Mini 6 – love it! Was not sure I needed it especially as it was several hundred dollars and I have a MacBook Pro and an iPhone, however, they said I could try and return in a week if I did not want to keep it – glad I did! Simple to navigate – familiar as it works somewhat like the phone – without phone capability – but the color resolution, size, and ability to show photos and typefaces larger was the best part for me – it is a welcome addition to my Apple family.

So far, it has been almost a month since I purchased the iPad Mini 6th generation. But I would never operate a quality device like the Mini 6 without the Sahara tempered glass screen cover. The SaharaCase was my first accessory after purchasing the iPad Mini because it protects the screen.

Offers great screen protection but the template that is included to help you apply the screen protector is worthless. Using it to apply the screen protector made it come out off center. I had to take it off and reapply.

After doing that 2-3 times, I ended up with one corner that isn’t sticky and doesn’t lay down completely flat.

This case is fabulous! Super simple to install and I’m not saavy at that at all. It’s held up well for months in terms of clean ability, maintaining its integrity around the edges with a case on, and functionality, I’ve dropped my ipad so many times and the screen remains pristine! Price reasonable for the ease of application and quality as well.

When your older and your grip is not as secure as it should be protection for your electronic devices is a must. This product meets that need extremely well. Not only is my iPad but the protection, clarity, and ease to keep my screen clean is excellent.
