20 Best Insulin Pen Travel Cooler (2023 Updated)

This is a must have item. It is the perfect size, similar to those soft coolers. The material is very high quality, it’s a nice thick canvas. I love that the ice packs are part of it. The bag feels similar to those gel filled ice packs.

The inner lining is very thick and seems fairly puncture resistant. The only complaint I have is when you fold it flat to freeze it’s very difficult to unfold. The bottom has this triangle like shape instead of being a flat square.

Once it starts to defrost it reshapes itself. It’s just difficult until that point. I would recommend if you have the space, freeze with it unfolded.

I got this cooler to take on picnics with my 2 kids. I loved the idea of being able to just throw it in the freezer and using it instead of buying ice all the time. And it works perfectly. Our picnics are kind of spontaneous and now all I have to do is grab the cooler out of the freezer, pack it up, and we’re good to go.

The cooler itself stays cold for hours and keeps everything in it nice and cold. It’s big enough to hold the 4 sandwiches and 4 drinks that we take and small enough to not be bulky while carrying. The strap makes carrying it even easier and frees up both of my hands which is nice when you have 2 kids with you.

Good size/capacity and I love the bright color. I wish it stayed cool for 12 hours instead of 8 and had another bigger pocket. That would make it perfect. I also like the adjustable strap. Very easy for travel.

I fit three 32 oz and two 16 oz glass jars in the bag along with my pump parts while traveling in the airport to hold breastmilk. I asked the hotel to put it in their freezer the day before we left and had no trouble getting through TSA with it.

All in on the shoulder strap! Though, could use padding on the strap, for the price. Good size. Bottles stand upright. Is sturdy enough to use as seat! I work Underground, so to get off my feet on lunch on to a dry sturdy seat is a plus.

I take this to use everyday at work. This is an honest review for people like me who want to use this as a cooler. I will try to be as factual as possible. I bought it for a 3 day canoe trip. I didn’t expect this cooler to hold ice for 3 days, but I wanted the water tight seal.

I have no doubt this cooler/drybox works fantastic as a dry box or lunch box. But as a cooler it’s very OK. I placed four 9″x10″ freezer packs inside of it. Basically it filled the cooler. After an hour or so, I touched the cooler on the outside and felt that it was very cold.

I picked it up and the floor it was sitting on was cold as well. Not good because the cold was getting through the insulation. I left it overnight in my dining room (4pm – 10am). When I woke up I checked the cooler and the freezer packs were liquid.

This was in winter so my house was 68-70 degrees. The quality is still good and overall I really like it, but to call it a cooler is a bit of a stretch. I lined the dry box with 1″ styrofoam and repeated my experiment.

the freezer packs are still half frozen after 29hrs. Despite it’s lack of insulation, I feel its a good, quality product.

Okay, so I have had this for two years now. It keeps ice and drinks nice and cold, which is essentially what I bought it for. Even when the ice melts, the water it still so cold it’s almost as good. I’ve had it on the back deck in NC Augusts and it’s chilled my drinks down for two days straight with no refills of ice.

That being said, this baby is HEAVY. Like, very heavy. It’s a total pain to carry this full of bevs and ice down to the beach, or for a long walk to the boat, etc. The issue wouldn’t be too bad if you could carry it with someone’s help but the single handle on the top doesn’t allow for that.

Speaking of the handle, for how heavy this is, it has never once faltered. It has stood up to many a long haul full of beer. The hinges, however, scare me. Lots of flex when you open the lid and it bounces back, and they’re plastic.

I have been considering replacing them with metal ones. The cooler is great if you don’t want to drop $300 on a Yeti, but we all know which one is better.

I use the cooler for my lunchbox while working landscaping. I’m able to fit multiple large plastic water bottles and plastic containers with food along with sandwich or 2. Also some snacks and a spare pair of gloves.

It rides in the trailer or in the truck cab and so far has kept my food cold and fresh (With an Ice Pack) The lid with the Velcro closure, has kept the dirt and dust out while riding in the trailer and stays secure moving it around.

The design of the shoulder strap and the handles on the end are perfect! Its easy to cary and keep clean too. Glad I made the purchase. Delivery was fast and on time, with no issues ordering.

Not exactly little, it hold a bunch. I take it on trips, but mostly kayaking. It fits perfectly on back and the lid makes it much easier to access with out trying to maneuver a zipper around. Hold plenty for the family and even friends, but not so large it takes up valuable space.

Helps being water proof and light weight. I picked up some of the ice packs too. The pockets on it are great for added gear or utensils, when out on a picnic. Worth the buy! I’d buy again in a heart beat if I needed another for some reason, but this feels built to last.

Top seams are coming apart in less than 1 month of having it on my golf cart! Garage kept , Doesn’t keep Cold as long as expected! Warranty process is designed to frustrate you to the point that you give up! Typical California mentality hiding under the bed waiting for the big bad wolf(Covid) to get them! ( called during regular biz hours) Closed I would personally recommend finding a Company that produces coolers in any other state! I am going to just to mark it up as a loss and find another manufacturer! Highly recommend that you shop elsewhere!.

Love the material, size, and pockets. I had purchased a similar style to this a while back, and hadn’t seen anything like it until now! So happy to have a larger size option. And this print/color and so so pretty.

It seems well insulated. It is a Christmas gift for my mom, so I haven’t kept anything in it, but I am usually happy with VB items. They are durable and strong. Just wish they were still made in the USA.

This is my second one that I have purchased. I basically bought a second one so that when the first one wears out, I have a backup. I absolutely love it, so many pockets to hold things and the colors are absolutely beautiful! I get so many compliments on it and it’s made very durable! The quality surpasses every other lunch bag I have bought outside of Vera Bradley.

I really didn’t like the thought of getting this. It *seemed* too expensive. This was worth every penny. We live in Las Vegas NV and our summer Temps get about 115° avg for weeks. This little case is so easy to use, keeps the insulin cool on our super hot summer days, and doesn’t leak if used properly! 10/10 Would recommend!.

Yes it’s expensive, but we’ll worth it! I go to classes a couple times a week. I’m there all day & need insulin at lunch. It’s great! I use to use a zip lock bag, but there were problems with it. I also go to cons or Atlanta once a year & it’s invaluable, especially on a plane.

Living in earthquake country it’s a necessity. I also recommend if you live in tornado or hurricane areas. Expensive, but so worth the price!.

I used this for two adult-sized epipens. The epis must be removed from their case to fit (snugly). I choose frio because you just soak the product in cold water. I followed the directions and it gelled up nicely.

I put it in the carrying case and then in a tote bag. I was in humid 93°F weather for the past week. When my tote was in direct sunlight the gel pack felt warm/hot, unfortunately. But when I covered my bag with a poncho, or the pack was at the bottom of the tote, covered by other items, it felt lukewarm.

But, that’s better than hot. At night, when it was in the mid’80s, the gel felt cool. I give this 3 stars because it’s easy to travel with and prepare. The price was pretty high for not being cold like it says.

It’s supposed to keep cool in 100° F weather. But, I’d rather have the security of it than not at all.

I needed a way to carry my insulin when i travel and after a few weeks of looking at every option i could find i chose the Medicool Insulin Protector. I didnt need a kitchen sink approach, a big bulky all in one insulin and sugar monitor supply bundle that just happened to cool insulin.

What finally tipped me to the Medicool protector was 16 hours of protection for my insulin, the best bang for my buck and under $40 budget. Im happy to report that i took a 4 day trip the week of thanksgiving and my insulin stayed nice and cool the whole time.

One day i was 18 hours between places to refreeze the (included) gel pack and everything was still nice and chilly when i got to my hotel room that night. If i had any complaints its the size, bigger than i imagined it from the photos, but it still went in my travel emergency bag so its all good.

I would highly recommend this cooler if you are in need of a safe, reliable way to transport insulin vials.

This item was great for what I needed it for, which was a Pen. It held temp for almost 12 hours, and when I took it out the cold pack it still had ice in them. This would have still given me more time if needed.

So I would defiantly recommend them to any one who needs to keep meds cold for long periods of time. Great item.

Keeps my insulin cold for long periods of time. Easy to use, holds supplies, I carry large purses fits in my purse fine. It is larger than I thought it would be but it fits in my purse just fine. I think it will keep insulin cool for 7 hours or longer, I have not had to use it that long.

It keeps the insulin very cold.

I work long shifts, so my lunch has to be out of the fridge for about 14 hours, but everyday when I get home the ice packs are still cool. I would not say frozen cold, but acceptable fridge cold. Ive yet to try to see if it truly holds ice for 2 days, and I assume me opining it multiple times a day releases the seal.

So, realistically I don’t think ice would last that long if you were opening the container every few hours. For the price the bag is great and does what I want it to do and keeps things cold for longer than i need it to.

The removable hard body is easy to clean and, though the bag is slightly bulky, it’s comfortable to sling over your shoulder and walk distances with. I would not go smaller than the 12 can though as I even sometimes with it was just a little larger to fit that last bit of food in.

Packing the bag can be like playing Tetris sometimes. Wonderful product and Id recommend it to anyone that needs a way to keep their food cool for long work hours.

After fixing the zipper on my boyfriends old worn out lunch cooler he had, it gave me a great idea for gifting for his birthday and Christmas. After viewing some of the ads on Facebook, I looked into possibly purchasing one.

First, that caught my eye was the pricing, which was very affordable and reasonable. Second, was the different variety of colors and styles. After finally making a decision and purchase, just couldn’t wait to get it, impressed with shipping , didn’t take long at all.

I took a sneak peek , lol, totally impressed!! Loved the details and the color and how well it was made. When he opened it up, he couldn’t be more surprised, and loved everything about the cooler, especially the “no zip” design, BIG HIT!! I really do love this cooler. My one complaint is that the strap is shorter than any strap on any other cooler I have owned. I like to wear my cooler cross body so both hands are free and the cooler doesn’t slip off my arm every 2 seconds.

It is simply impossible to get a comfortable fit when I wear it cross body instead of dangling on my shoulder. The fact that this is the first cooler I have owned that will not have broken zippers in a few months is a super awesome thing.

It DOES have 2 zippered compartments though, so take that for what it’s worth. Compatrmentally speaking, it is not much different than any other cooler, a pocket here, a pocket there. So I take off 1/10 of a point for the extremely short strap and give it a 5.

I did a ton of research before making this purchase since I am not normally one to spend this kind of money on a cooler. This year my wife and I decided to splurge on a Mother’s/Father’s Day gift for ourselves.

Ultimately, the RovR 60 won out because of the pneumatic wheels, strong metal handle, large dry compartment, lid tote, and over all looks. We have been using the cooler for a few weeks now and are very happy with our purchase.

We spend most weekends boating on our pontoon boat, and this cooler has been a welcome addition and a real head turner. So many people have commented on what a nice cooler it is and asked where we found it.

We have not gotten a true test of the ice retention due to the fact that the cooler is open almost as much as it is closed because of the number of people grabbing drinks and food. However, we always have cold beverages and some ice left after a 8 hour day on the lake with the cooler baking in the sun on the boat.

My only caution would be the weight of the cooler when full. plan ahead and team lift. The cooler itself is heavy at around 40 pounds empty and then with the addition of beverages, food, and ice it gets heavy quick.

I am able to pick it up into the truck by myself but it is a bit awkward due to the size of the cooler. I have found it much easier to navigate our porch stairs and lifting into the truck when someone is there to help.

Once on the ground the wheels make moving around very effortless. Overall a great cooler and would recommend.

Finally got a chance to test out our new RovR cooler this past weekend for a camping trip and we couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase! The deep freeze dry bin is such a nice feature to have and holds a lot more than you’d think.

We were very impressed with the ice retention as it was a hot weekend. The wagon bin is also an awesome addition and is more useful than we anticipated. We love the big wheels and it’s super easy to roll.

The people we were camping with had a couple of Igloo coolers and our first night raccoons got into their coolers and ate almost all their food!!! Our RovR was also out overnight and we didn’t have any raccoon problems at all.

They didn’t stand a chance against the RovR. Can’t wait for more opportunities to use our awesome new cooler. Never thought I’d be so excited about a cooler but I just love it!.

Have had this cooler on only a few outings, but feel like it’s been in enough different situations to go ahead and review it. For starters, the cooler was missing an end cap for 1 of the hinges. After a couple emails and pictures later to Rovr, they sent me the 1 I needed and a couple extra! 1st impressions; the cooler seems well built in pretty much every aspect.

It rolls around very easily; probably better than what you would expect by looking at it, only thing I have found is that it can get a bit tippy feeling (Tip over backwards) if you pick the front of it up too far to go over certain obstacles.

Just being careful in those situations can probably prevent any actual tip overs. The handle to pull it seems to work very well, you can stand off to either side and pull even a completely full cooler with 1 hand without much trouble.

I did put 2 little 3M stick on rubber bumpers where the handle makes contact with the cooler when you let go of it. The other stuff that to me seems to be a personal preference that a lot of people differ on is the handles to pick it up, and the latches for the lid.

I have used both fixed and rope handles and both have their place, however, this cooler has wheels and the chances of you picking it up for anything other than to load it are slim. This brings me to my next point; this cooler, like every other rotomolded cooler I’ve ever picked up is heavy, which is exactly why we looked for 1 with wheels! The lid latches are fine with me, although I’m not real picky when it comes to that.

I’ve used several different styles and never found one I was really unhappy with. The dry bin seems to work very well, and again, is probably a matter of preference over basket style coolers. We have used it with ice in it as well to seperate different foods without having to dig through the whole cooler.

It also doesn’t seem to affect the ability of the cooler to drain water quickly. Speaking of the drain, again, personal preference for everyone. I’ve used coolers with an attached “Wire” etc on the plug, and while that can come in handy, with the Rovr you don’t really need to take the plug all the way out the way it is designed.

Performance; I’ve used this cooler a few different times now on weekend trips. There was always a Yeti or Grizzly on the same trips we had our Rovr. Every trip has been hot every day (Upper 80’s to mid 90’s), so the only differences has been the amount of shade the cooler was in and amount of ice we put in it.

Twice it has been just kind of out in the open, probably shaded at times, but most likely in the direct sun for several hrs for a couple days. The 1st time it was completely full of ice, probably close to 30 lbs.

It was opened several times throughout the daytime and a lot in the evenings. At the end of the weekend, there was probably close to 10 lbs of ice left. The second time we only put a 20 lb bag of ice in, and I would say that it was opened a very similar amount to the other weekend.

There was maybe 3 lbs of ice left. The Yeti that was there at the same time, and not opened nearly as much might have had 5 lbs left on the 1st weekend, and was nothing but water on the second. The other trip the cooler had right at 25 lbs of ice in it, it was in the shade 95% of the time, and was opened about half a much.

When we got home, there was probably still 15 lbs of ice left. The Grizzly that was on this trip and in shade as well needed more ice on Saturday afternoon after being packed since Friday morning. At no point before my purchase did I think this cooler was going to hold ice for 7-10 days in 90 degree heat, sitting in the sun, and being opened 20-25 times a day.

But it does perform as well or even slightly better than a couple other brands of rotomolded coolers, and our 1 trip with it in the shade and not being opened as much proves that it can hold ice significantly longer if you do those things.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this cooler.

Keeps pens cool for 16 hrs but depending on outside temperature but good quality and for a day yes hits the mark.

Fits my 2 insulin pins no problem. Has enough room for some extra supplies (pen needles, etc.)

I bought this to put in my work truck to keep drinks and lunches cold on long trips. I had a pelican 35qt in there but it was always in my way and too heavy when I needed it to bring in and out of the house.

I have a 35 and a 70qt and they are great on the boat or at camp but they are usually too big when it’s just me. This thing is great. I love the basket that keeps sandwiches and stuff up out of the ice.

I’m not sure what I will put in there, but the drybox on top works really well. I washed the cooler out in the shower on full blast, intentionally spraying the edges and no water got into the dry area at all.

I had a Moosejaw flag in there and it was bone dry. The cooler easily keeps a few days worth of food and drinks cold and is not too heavy or bulky. Great little fishing cooler for beer and lunch or good very large lunch box.

This is my third Pelican cooler, I also have a 50qt and a 150qt that I use offshore. Their products are bulletproof and well-designed, and this cooler is no exception. From the dry storage compartment to the drop-in basket, the latches to the cut-out for your leg, clearly thought was put into the product.

Not to mention the fact that I can leave it in my truck all day in the summer in Florida and still have ice at the end of the day! I think you get more bang for your buck versus some of the other popular coolers when you go with Pelican.

And to top it off, Moosejaw price-matched and had it on its way to me probably 30 minutes after I ordered. Couldn’t be happier!!.

This was a Christmas gift to my husband to replace a cooler held together by duck tape and bungee cords. It is a major upgrade and he is very happy with it. It performed well on a recent road trip but it is winter so will know more about its performance when summer arrives.

Overall it is a nice weight – not too heavy for me; the latches are easy to use; and the storage compartment is a nice bonus. It was a good gift!.

Soft and easy to manage cooler when a hard shell version isn’t convenient. Holds 4 wine bottles with cooler packs and/or ice. It’s smaller than it appears but packs nicely in footwells or other small spaces in a vehicle.

Zipper is very stiff but we will see if it loosens up with use. Not as efficient as a hard shell but easier to carry and pack. Includes shoulder strap.

*WARNING* This cooler has SERIOUS construction flaws. This product is more aesthetically pleasing than it is functionality wise. The “High density closed cell foam” which is molded and makes up +-95% of the physical cooler is separate from the skin.

There is a wrapping that they call “Puncture-resistant material” which is the beige colored material encompassing the cooler. ***The handle and strap is re-enforced to the skin ONLY and not the physical cooler!*** The skin stretches from the molded “cooler foam” and the product is plagued with moisture getting trapped between both material.

This keeps the cooler from drying properly, streaking and molding. The biggest flaw in this product is after my fourth time using, the handle has ripped off the skin because of poor design. When you pick-up the cooler you can see the skin stretch which concerned me originally however I didn’t think it would rip off so quickly.

I was carrying a few drinks and a half bag of ice. PELICAN dropped the ball with this product. It’s almost as if they didn’t even test the product after creating it. EVERYTHING I DESCRIBED ABOVE WILL HAPPEN TO YOUR COOLER.

I like how the design of the cooler is accommodating 4 wine bottles or 8 larger cans. When hanging cross-body it naturally tends to get into horizontal position which doesn’t feel as comfortable. Doesn’t come with ice packs.

Need to purchase separate ones that fit. The zipper looks extra durable, need to pull harder at the beginning. Hopefully, the zipper pull will last. Overall, great gift for Father’s Day. Perfect for one day use for small get together.

I’ve been using this cooler for 2 years now and it’s holding up very well and exceeding all expectations. I usually use frozen canteens as ice packs and in the summer have never had them completely thaw.

Some of stitching in the carry handle is coming loose where the Velcro is attached, but that’s to be expected with the use this cooler gets. It’s so nice I bought another one on sale for $60. The size is perfect for day trips and over night adventures.

The minute you see and hold this cooler, you can instantly tell it’s a well built product. The zippers are supper tight and there is no stitching. When I open the cooler I was even more impressed. Nice thick insulation.

I put a 2 litre bottle of frozen water in it, and it lasted 5 days before all the ice was gone. The water was still cold. I would definitely recommend this cooler. NICE!.

The cooler arrived quickly which is always nice. The cooler is very sturdy and seems to be made very well. The insulation is thick and kept my beverages cold all day and kept the 10 lbs of ice mostly solid while sitting in direct sunlight at the beach at 90 degrees.

The handles and carry strap are well made. The shoulder strap slips a little so wear it over your head on the opposite shoulder so it stays put. You cant beat this cooler for the price considering other “popular” brands are $300 to $400 dollars.

Make sure you put the included silicone on the zipper. It will help it because it is tight!!.

Their bags look great, the customer service is deplorable. Ordered a rolling bag, website said “ships late October” but the website itself said “in stock”, so I ordered. Emails to them go unanswered, phone number gets the “fax” tones as if it’s their fax number.

Had to dispute it to get their attention…. I can only imagine what a warranty issue with these folks would be like.

I’m a flight attendant and commute to SFO for work. I love this bag. I can pack 5 days of food in it and still have room for other things. The main thing I love about this bag is the fact that it has lots of compartments.

Great cooler, bag and backpack combo! My go to cooler for day trips I can fit 8 cans with ice. I’ve used it at the lake and water parks. I’ve used pelicans 2lbs ice with 6 cans and worked fine but I recommend the 1lb which I think will fit better.

I’ve used the top storage with a bag of ice and did fine in Las Vegas summer in shade. I’d wish pelican would put handles on the side of the cooler so it would be much easier to open and close the zipper.

For the money you spend on one of these backpacks It would of been nice if they added a pelican bottle opener that they offer on the soft 24 pelican cooler but I just threw on a key chain bottle opener.

I’ve also gotten compliments on the back pack. It’s nice to be hands free for other things that need to be carried.

Bottom part looks good, but I struggled with the zipper. On the top part I was expecting more compartments than just one big one. Also feels a bit smaller than what I thought it would be. I think it is a bit overpriced – I am not returning it as it seems to be the only option like this on the market.

I guess there is a reason for it to be overpriced then :).

We were looking for a cooler that would have to compartments. One where we could have some cold cans with ice packs or ice and a second one for food to avoid it being too cold or wet. This was a great choice.

I would love if this cooler would have a little bit larger version. For a family of 4 this really does the job.

I took this jewl to Gatlinburg TN with me. Put a little ice in it, some drinks and snacks. It fit perfectly in my Ram behind and between the driver and passenger seats. Did the same going home. I left the ice in it this time just to see how long the ice would last.

It’s been over 30 hours and it still has a lot of ice in it. It is a very strong and lightweight cooler. Very easy to clean, very easy to open and lock. It stays sealed keeping the cold in and the hot air out.

I also love the little tray that came with it, it is handy and can be used for lot’s of purposes. I even used it to catch ice out of the ice machine in the lodge lobby to fill the cooler up. This is an excellent cooler.

The hinges and locks are super tough and sturdy. They do not stick out so something can catch on them.

I came from a Pelican which I crushed with the boom on my forklift. The guys all had an Engle so I got one too. Its much lighter weight and has a removable strap that pretty well stays in place once laced through the holders under the bottom.

The strap washes nirmal in a machine to clean it up. I hang it to dry. No special directions for it. Both inside and outside clean up easily with soap and water. The box does an above average job at keeping drinks cold all day.

I pack 8 total 16oz (typical size) water bottles standing up, 4 refrigerated, 4 frozen, 1 carton of coconut water, 2 bottles laying down and put my baggie filled lunch on top of the bottles laid down.

The box could easily carry at least 4 more bottle standing up for a total of 12, 16oz water bottles. My lunchbox is stored in the direct sun for at least 8 hrs a day and the frozen water bottles are still frozen with a little detailing.

At the end of 12 hrs, the frozen bottles are about 1/2 frozen. I haven’t experienced any warping of the top but some of the guys who’ve had their boxes longer have. One guy has a crack in the lid but says he doesn’t think it effects the inside contents.

The box comes with a warranty and a dry tray or dish. Its large enough for a bottle of Advil, protein bars and other miscellaneous items. One could use it to store a sandwich if they chose to put ice inside the lunchbox as the tray would keep the sandwich from getting wet.

Overall, I like the box. The colors were fun to choose from. I wish they were different. I like that the box is lighter and less bulky than my Pelican but the reduction in weight is due to a reduction in insulation.

Not a ton different but to me coming from the industry standard for insulation, I can tell there is a difference. This far surpasses an Igloo. The hinges are surprisingly durable and even the guys who have had their boxes for years say there is no damage/wear to them and we open/close our boxes numerous times daily.

They seem durable and functional. Its pretty lightweight and seems to do its job. I’d like to find something in between a Pelican weight/insulation and the Engle. Ill stick with the Engle until I have to get something new.

I purchased this cooler to keep things cold for a few hours while traveling, but I was pleasantly surprised by how long it it retained ice. I tried it for the first time on a day when the high was just over 90 degrees.

I loaded it with a chilled twelve pack. Unfortunately, the ice I bought that day had just been bagged and placed in a freezer, so it was wet and melting quickly on the short ride home. There was already a significant amount of water in the ice bag when I poured the ice in the cooler, so I figured it wouldn’t last more than 6 or 8 hours even though it was in the shade.

However, after opening and closing the cooler throughout the afternoon as well as a few times the next morning to see if it was still cold, it still had ice in it after 17 hours. With colder ice, I have no doubt the ice would have lasted close to 24 hours.

If you’re thinking this will hold ice as long as a Yeti 20-quart, it won’t. This is a 5. 5-pound cooler vs the Yeti that weighs in at about 15 pounds. Yeti designs their cooler to do one thing; hold ice for as long as possible.

The Engel 19-quart is designed to be compact, lightweight and retain ice for a reasonable amount of time — all of which were considerations for me. So, if you need your ice to last for days, buy a heavy-duty, roto-molded model.

Super cute and vintage feel, seems to be made of good materials that will last awhile (have only used it once). Holds ice well. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lid does not fasten down which makes it a little tricky to carry over the shoulder if carrying other things as well.
