Just what we are looking for to reflect the heat off the garage attic of our Florida home. I know we have used this product (or a very similar product) with great results. Every home should be using this to save on energy costs.

I have never been able to keep my house cool and humidity free when the temperature went into the high 80s and 90s. New insulation in my attic didn’t solve the problem either. After putting in RadiantGaurd, and the first 95 degree day, my house stayed at 75 degrees and my air conditioner ran for a total of only 4 hours.

The previous week, a 92 degree day, and before installing RadiantGaurd, my air conditioner ran for 11 hours! This product will pay for itself by the end of summer and I will save $$$ due to reduced heating and cooling costs for months to come.

I ordered these items about a week before for my boys birthday party so that we could safely prepare Meals to go (covid 19 safety) at the birthday party the items didn’t show up until 2 days. We had catered food with no to go plates or utensils.

We ended up having to use paper plate and foil and had everyone bag their own utensils which was pretty embarrassing. 2 days After the birthday party all items were finally delivered. IF YOU TELL ME THAT IT WILL BE DELIVERED BY A CERTAIN TIME THAT’S WHAT I’M EXPECTING! Not to mention no one every followed up.

Bad customer service won’t order again. AMAZON you for my business.

These are quality containers and you can’t beat the price. I’ve seen containers at this price but they want $18. 00 for shipping. Kinda defeats the purpose! This is the same product that restaurants use.

My family loves the simple modern food jars and their customer service is amazing. I wish they sold replacement gaskets separately so I would feel better about the wear and tear when taking it off everyday to clean but at the moment they dont so a new lid is the way to go.

I could not believe when I inquired about the gaskets they sent me a new lid free of charge and it was in the mail in maybe 2 hours from my inquiry. I did not expect this. I just wanted to purchase some gaskets because I love that these lids make it easy to open the jar for tiny or weak hands.

Simple Modern will be our go to brand when I need to purchase more containers. Great customer service is hard to come by these days and companies like this should be rewarded for it with repeat business especially when their product is amazing.

I ordered the 12oz Provision Food Jar in black the quality is very good and it has great value. We had ordered the bigger one in Black, and the cap Slim local will seal and align with Slim local on the bottom of the food jar.

The 12oz version is off, so it does not have the same feel and look when storage them. The Moonlight Voyager Travel Mug with Clear Flip Lid & Straw – 16oz got scuff using a cup holder in my car. The paint did not peel out, it just showing scuff mark on it.

Both issue are no big deal to me at all. I will buy again from Simple Modern. I just want to let someone know to review what might be important to others.

After disassembling the original lid for cleaning, the sealing ring was misplaced. I contacted Simple Modern to purchase a replacement seal. Unfortunately, the rings are unavailable for purchase. They kindly sent us a replacement lid as they do not offer the seals separately.

Well made, sturdy item. Difficult to open, would not use for soup, could spill out while opening. Does not keep food hot, barely warm. In the morning, prepped container by filling with boiling water for 10 minutes (placed lid to keep heat in while prepping container).

Filled with freshly cooked, piping hot chicken and rice and packed container in an insulated lunch bag. Kept in vehicle when outside temp was 80 degrees until lunchtime 5 hours later. Food was barely warm.

It barely kept piping hot food warm on a hot day, definitely won’t keep it warm during the winter when a hot meal is needed. As part of the same lunch, packed freshly cooked zucchini in a thermos food king jar and it was piping hot at lunchtime.

I bought 2 of these containers. They are very sturdy, nice looking and easy to clean. Just recently, one of the containers had issue with keeping food warm. I called customer service and they were very helpful and sent me a replacement item.

My other container is still working completely fine and it does keep my daughter’s lunch warm. Highly recommend this!.

I’m using this to cover windows in a room that gets very cold in the winter. It comes in a 4ft long roll and there’s tissue paper rolled in with it – I guess to protect it from scratches. At 4 mil, it’s heavy/thick but still crystal clear.

The clearance price was so good, I ordered 2 rolls. This stuff is great!.

Was a bit concerned by some of the low reviews & ratings but honestly this tape dispenser works fine. Personally found the instructions on how to load it up pretty straightforward if you just take the time to review the diagram and directions.

Sure it doesn’t work perfectly every single time, occasionally the tape sticks to the bottom of the loading area (easy to just peel up to resolve) but it’s not as horrible or useless as the reviews make it out to seem.

If you’re having trouble tearing the tape with the cutter, don’t just fling the dispenser down quickly to try and cut it. I found it pretty much always cut if you align the dispenser/cutter flush against the box like you’re forming a 90 degree angle with the cutter and tape.

Don’t let the low ratings and angry reviews deter you; this dispenser made packing so much more convenient than fumbling around and constantly trying to find the edge with a roll of tape and scissors.

It’s bubble wrap. What more can I tell you? Bottom line, this stuff does the job. It came in a somewhat smaller package than I thought it would, but this stuff holds up and is durable just like you’d expect.

For the price I paid for this and with free prime shipping, I saved a few dollars as opposed to buying this stuff from a stationary or shipping supply store. If you’re like me and often sell items on eBay or Amazon you’ll need this type of stuff lying around.

I am a long time buyer of this brand/size bubble wrap. My last order of 2 rolls was such a disappointment. The quality was so bad, and such a waste of money, that I will never purchase this again. I use bubble wrap daily for my business and this was next to worthless and required twice as much product to achieve the same quality of protection this brand used to afford me.

Let’s put it this way, imagine your kitchen cling wrap with some bubbles that barely contain air. That is what this product has become – stretchy, lumpy, cling wrap. Sorry, but true.

The GE Large Gaps insulating foam does a great job of filling large gaps. It fills large gaps more evenly than traditional expanding foams. To be sure, Large gaps can be filled by these traditional foams, but you have to “layer” the foam into the gap and the unpredictable expansion often leaves small gaps.

With GE’s Large Gap foam the expansion of the foam is greater and much more homogenous or universal in expansion and thus layering is not required. I was able to fill voids of more than 4 inches with no breaks or holes.

Because the foam expands more than typical expanding foams, it can be hard to estimate how much foam to apply using past experience. The instructions say only initially fill to 1/3 the volume of the void, but It seems to expand even more than that.

This is generally not a problem in that after curing, the excess foam can be readily cut away. However, care should be taken in situations where the expansion of the foam might apply pressure to, or deform the boundary structure of the void.

(ie window frames etc. ) Another nice feature of this foam is that it cures as a rigid or solid white foam and is more aesthetically pleasing than some of the other non-white foams on the market. The foam can be painted and in fact should be if it will be exposed to sunlight.

The instructions which come with the foam suggest gloves for application. I highly recommend they be worn as the uncured foam is very sticky, and care should be taken when applying. In another note, The instructions clearly state the can should be held INVERTED when applying the foam, yet all the photos on the accompanying literature show the foam being applied with the nozzle up.

A “BLOOPER” I guess!!.

I received a can of the GE Large Gaps Foam to review. I like that the can had 25% more than it normally does. It works well on places in or outside of the home or anywhere you need to fill a space. I used it under my house where I had some large gaps between the bricks and wood.

You really need to wear gloves with this stuff because it is sticky and hard to remove from your hands. It helps to repel mold and rot by repelling water. It also help with saving energy by sealing drafts around the house.

It comes with a screw on straw like piece that you push down for the foam to come out. You only have to barely touch it or a lot of foam will come out. You need to take you hand off the hose when the foam starts coming out of the can.

The only things that I did not like is that it is hard to control the amount that comes out. I wish the spout was a little smaller. After the foam has cured, you have to take a knife or even use sandpaper to cut off the excess.

You can paint over it after it dries completely. Using the sandpaper will give it a smoother look. I am not sure it the hose can be used again. I cleaned it out after using it. I think a good idea would be to offer 2-3 additional hoses in case you don’t need to use the entire can.

It states that foam that is exposed to sunlight needs to be painted or stained.

Purchased 2, one for other half and one for son, they’re big Makita fans, although they must remember which one is the cool box and not the tool box lol can be fun watching them hunt for their food. yes I’m that mean.

We live in the Philly area, our son is in CA, and all he wanted for Christmas was a WaWa hoagie (or two). I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to ship them, or at least it took me some work to figure it out.

I thought packaging stores carried these insulated shippers; I was quite surprised when I had to order one online (and my clock was ticking). The two major delivery companies would charge an arm and a leg to ship overnight; I instead looked into the USPS 2-day Priority shipping.

I had hoped to use the XL box to simply ship this insulated package, knowing I may have to carve off some foam to get it in. But that wasn’t happening – it would be helpful if the Specifications included the dimensions: (1) inside the foam, (2) outside the foam (so it could go inside another box), and (3) outside the cardboard box.

Little did I relaize I could just ship “my package” – this unit – via 2-day Priority Mail. So I include two Ace Hardware $1. 79 gel packs, 2 WaWa hoagies, and crushed them into the box (it was a VERY tight fit for two).

Taped it closed with duct tape, put it in the box it came with, and took it to the post office by 6pm on Tues 12/21. It was delivered on Wed 12/23 in Los Angeles around 5pm (Eastern time). The gel packs were still semi-frozen, the hoagies were perfect.

I am sure I will be doing this again, he’ll probably send the box back for more.

I purchased one of these to transport frozen food cross country on a recent air flight. After 10 hrs of travel, the items were still an acceptable frozen : a little soft, but mostly solid to the touch ( I placed 3 frozen gel packs in with the contents).

The container held up well (placed in the box it came with, then put inside another box; it was checked on for the flight, so was in cargo holds & who knows where else during the trip.
