20 Best Hydrolic Acid For Face (2023 Updated)

I’ve never taken skincare very seriously. I’m 33 now and for most of my life I’ve just used bar soap to wash my face and that’s it (not even moisturiser) However, over the years my skin has obviously become dull, dehydrated and just overall drab.

So, I decided to look into starting a good skincare routine, as I’m not getting any younger and I wanted to start treating my face better now before I have to deal with wrinkles too. I did some research, watched YouTube dermatologists and saw good things about the cerave brand: especially the hyaluronic acid serum.

I weren’t expecting instant results, barely any results if I’m honest, but after cleansing my face with the cerave hydrating cleanser and using the hyaluronic acid serum the difference was remarkable.

I’ve been using it for 3 days and my skin is looking far more hydrated, far less drab and I also seem to have far more colour in my face: it just looks overall more plump and alive now. The one negative I have with this product is that it is a small bottle and while £17 is considered a budget friendly price, I personally still find it quite pricey for the amount you get.

However, I did purchase this with the 3 for 2 offer this time and I’m hoping these deals will have returned by the time I run out ;).

I grew up using @cerave_canada @cerave products, and they’ve never let me down, so it wasn’t so surprising that I picked a @cerave_canada product for my 30-day drugstore skincare challenge! Although I do own a lot of @cerave_canada products this Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum is a first for me.

I’m honestly not shocked that I fell in love with it from day 1. When I did my first pump of this product, I thought that it would be like a clear gel like the @firstaidbeauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum (this one is also in my Sephora favourites, love it! Review idea for next time 😂), but I was so wrong! It definitely took me by surprise when the product was instead a white gel cream and not so much like a serum.

The benefit of this “serum” (actually a gel cream 😂) is to help restore as well as strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. It is composed of 3 essential ceramides, vitamin B5 concentrated hyaluronic acid and is designed to be used on its own or with other moisturizers.

The formula intensely moisturizes dull, dehydrated skin helps improve the appearance of wrinkles. I’ve been using this product AM PM and I got to say my skin has really been loving this very much! It’ has maintained my smooth and soft.

Also, no break outs or any allergic reactions which are pluses! In Canadian stores it retails for under $20! There’s no doubt that after I finish this product completely that I will revisit it again for its affordable value and excellent results! Today I am going to give my honest #review on Cerave Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Hyaluronic Acid has so many benefits for skin. It helps to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles retaining moisture to the skin, creating a plumping effect.

When skin is protected and hydrated, increased skin cell production can take place, as the skin isn’t busy fighting for hydration. This leads to smoother, plumper skin cells. This serum is lightweight and fast absorbing.

I’m really enjoying using the. It’s a light weight serum that you can use in place of or underneath of your moisturizer ( I use it underneath). It has a really pleasant citrus-y scent that isn’t strong or overwhelming, and it has a very nice consistency that isn’t thick or tacky.

You don’t have to use much because a little bit definitely goes a long way, so this bottle has been lasting me a good while. It dries pretty quickly and absorbs well into your skin making it feel ultra soft and hydrated without being oily or greasy.

My skin is naturally very oily and this serum hasn’t made my skin more greasy or caused me to break out. I’ve been using it for a number of weeks now and I’ve slowly started to notice my skin starting to look and feel firmer and I’ve also noticed a difference in some of the fine lines and wrinkles in my face! For what this product does, the price is not bad at all.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try a great serum to help with firmness and fine lines/wrinkles or anyone who just wants a great serum or moisturizer in general. I will definitely continue to use this in the future!.

I originally ordered “Feel The Moment” Skin-Rejuvenating Hydrating Primer Serum — a fantastic product. I used up every precious drop of it, but when I went to reorder I couldn’t find it. Instead I ordered “Bye Bye Lines Serum” which came in the same type of small container.

I’m disappointed! The product originally separated in the container — sometimes something watery came out, and other times something creamy came out. Now nothing comes out at all. I took the cap off, and the product is in there but will not come out.

This is an expensive product. It makes me mad when something wonderful is purposely discontinued, and then the product it’s replaced with is inferior. I’m still looking for “Feel The Moment” but don’t expect I’ll find it.

I’m a big fan of It Cosmetics and originally started using them because of what I saw demonstrated on HSN. How about bringing back “Feel The Moment”, Jamie!!!!.

I cannot understand why so many reviews note that this is sticky. I have used another popular serum from QVC which was a bit sticky but this one does not feel sticky to me at all. If anything, my skin feels softer.

I also use it with the IT Cosmetics ‘Confidence in a Cream’, which for additional note, is a light creamy texture that goes on smoothly and feels good on the skin! I have normal/dry skin for reference.

Also, I have used products in the past that have caused minor breakouts and not with this. A little goes a long way and I really feel like it has made a difference in a short amount of time. I am very satisfied with this serum – (and Confidence in a Cream)!.

First of all, the packaging is outstanding. I love the bottle and shape which is not only nice to look at, but easy to hold and the pump makes for easy use, all important factors for me. It’s worth noting that I was initially concerned having combination/oily skin it may produce excess oil but it didn’t.

Now, the serum is a beautifully created consistency which is easy to apply to my skin without any unnecessary pulling, rubbing or tugging which is also a mega positive factor with skincare. The serum was easily applied with fingertips with little effort.

The many benefits I experienced were almost instant. My skin felt soothed, cooled and hydrated, without any stickiness or residue (another important factor, particularly when applying make up). The serum is quickly absorbed sinking straight into my skin giving me the reassurance I need to protect my skin from the daily environmental factors I am exposed to daily.

Through continued use my skin has had no dry patches at all, it looks healthier and more radiant. My skin feels hydrated as well as looking and feeling a lot smoother. Despite all the amazing benefits I’ve seen and felt from this serum, the thing I love most is that it can be incorporated into any skincare routine.

You’re not required to have an entire Vichy skincare routine to benefit from this serum (was a huge winner for me). Although I do believe using an entire range of one brand would be hugely beneficial, Vichy clearly let their products speak for themselves.

This is a holy grail of hydration and protection and never skipped in my routine. I’d highly recommend this serum to anyone of any age to hydrate and protect. I absolutely love it and wouldn’t be without it.

It’s been one week that I have been using this serum and I like the fact that it’s a clear bottle, so I can see how much of the liquid remains. There is no scent and the drop applicator makes it easy to apply.

I used around 4 drops for my entire face, and 2 drops for the neck and only applied at night before applying moisturizer. I used the tips of my fingers to apply the serum all over, and there was a slight bit of tackiness when it dried down, but that could be because I applied more than intended.

Tackiness only remained for a few minutes and it was gone after. This serum made my skin feel very soft, smooth and supple. I will say that I did end up breaking out on my cheeks, an area that I almost never break out.

This was the only new product that I had added to my routine. That being said, I do like how my skin felt radiant using the serum, and therefore will continue to be using this as I would like to see the full effectiveness that this serum can provide.

The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Triple Power LZR Anti Aging 1. 5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum left my skin supple and smooth. It has made a great addition to my morning and night skin care routine and I already feel a noticeable difference.

My skin appears much healthier and shinier with a glow that is unmistakably youthful. A few drops goes a long way and cover your whole face and neck. A lot of power is packed inside this product. With having such insufferably dry skin, this product is able to deliver in both hydration and moisture.

I did find the product a little sticky, however.

Honestly I don’t know what to think about this serum. I was so impressed on the beginning when I started to use it, but then in time just get worse. I like the glass, transparent bottle because I can see how much product I had left.

I like the dropper as well, is so useful, no mess, no fuss application. The serum contains 1,5% pure hyaluronic acid and this is my favorite skin care ingredient. On the beginning my skin loves it, was so smooth and soft but in about a month this serum started to clog my pores.

The other cons is that does not reduce any wrinkles at all. It does moisturize and refresh skin but that’s all. For me it’s just okey product without WOW effect.

The scent is quite strong, honey/floral like, and it doesn’t fade quickly. I had issues with irritation of breakouts introducing this into my routine. It absorbs into the skin well without leaving a tacky residue behind.

Let me start by saying I love this brand so much and I’ve had great success with some of their other products! I was so excited to use this as I have very dry and sensitive skin that has been flaring up with all these cold fronts rolling in! This did make my skin feel so soft, supple, plump, and beautifully dewy.

I was loving all of the immediate benefits until around day 2 of using it, I noticed my face breaking out like crazy in little inflamed whiteheads all over my face. Even though I have sensitive skin, this is really unusual for me as I just finished accutane a couple months ago so I haven’t really had any issues with breakouts since then.

I kept using the product because I thought maybe it would pass or maybe it wasn’t the product at all. HOWEVER, I decided to stop using it around day 5 and I just used my regular products that day instead.

By the next morning my skin was already clearing up so nicely but it was DRY. It felt like my skin was rebounding from how moisturized it had been with this product. I nursed it back with my normal moisturizers and now the breakouts are almost completely cleared up so I have concluded that this serum was 100% the culprit.

I am so disappointed because I wanted to love this product so badly. Unfortunately it just did not mesh well with my skin. That being said, the other benefits I saw were so amazing and I know tons of people who never had any breakouts from this product so it really does just vary person to person! If you don’t tend to break out easily or have sensitive skin then try this! It could be the next great addition to your routine, but for my sensitive skin friends I would not recommend.

I enjoyed this serum quite a bit. Hylaronic acid is a game-changer, so much better than plain old moisturizer if you have oily, acne prone skin. It hydrates the skin, smooths, and pumps it without any added shine, or tacky layers.

No irritation, just hydration. It’s gentle enough that you can use it on your eyelids if needed, and I also enjoy putting it on my lips to keep them hydrates throughout the day, as this let’s me avoid even having to reapply chapstick throughout the day because my lips will still stay plump and hydrated with this serum applied twice a day.

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant (binds to water) and you’re supposed to apply it to damp/wet skin after you’ve washed your face so that the hyaluronic acid binds to the water and clings onto it. Then, you use an emollient moisturizer on top of the hyaluronic acid serum to seal both the hyaluronic acid and water into your skin.

It seriously makes a world of a difference if you follow these steps. Your skin will drink in the water, hyaluronic acid, and moisturizer. I like to follow up with an occlusive moisturizer as the “cherry on top” to minimize transepidermal water loss from my skin as much as possible because I have dry and dehydrated skin and prefer the “greasy face” that I affectionately call the “healthy skin” look.

But, you don’t need the occlusive moisturizer is you prefer a more natural skin finish and don’t suffer from dehydrated skin. Honestly, if I could give this item 10 stars I would. Cheap, effective, minimal, and saved my dehydrated, dry, sensitive skin as it synergized with my skincare arsenal and made my skincare products much more effective.

I’m really liking this hyaluronic acid serum. It’s very lightweight and goes on super easily, absorbs into skin very fast (within ~15 seconds), and leaves no residue behind, making it very layer-able.

The formula isn’t sticky at all, and I haven’t had any issues with pilling when accidentally over-applying. Only a few drops are needed to cover face and neck, meaning a little goes a long way, and this small 1oz bottle will last a pretty long time with 2x daily use.

Works best when lightly patted into dampened skin. Will def continue using given the great price!.

I have extremely sensitive skin. I have rosacea and I break out easily. My skin gets oily, but sometimes dry. I have to be so careful about what I use, and I’m always on the lookout for products that will soothe rosacea.

This may very well be the product! With natural ingredients that are meant to be soothing, this serum was very pleasant to use. Let me also mention that this serum comes in a bottle with a pump. Squirt a pea sized amount, and it will smooth all over your entire face.

It has a thinned -out aloe vera texture, so it’s more like a gel than an oil. When I first smoothed it on, it felt luxurious. Then it turned slightly sticky. I thought it might be a deal breaker, but I waited for a bit, like the instructions say, to allow it to soak into my skin.

When I touched my skin again, it was nearly fully absorbed and not sticky at all! The smell was a little odd. Mild, not strong at all. Not a bad odor, just an absence of perfumes (thank goodness!) It did not irritate my skin at all, and in fact, it was very gentle and soothing.

I have been using Oznaturals Hyaluronic Acid facial serum for a few weeks now. I really like the light fragrance. It isn’t overwhelming at all and it is a nice feminine scent. The serum is clear and comes in a bottle that has a pump on the top.

I usually use 2 pumps for my entire face. The serum is a little thick but it doesn’t feel heavy on my face nor does it feel sticky. It absorbs fairly quickly and then, if you like, you can apply another serum or moisturizer.

Once absorbed, my skin definitely feels softer and smoother. I think it does help to hydrate my skin as well. I do not feel like it lessened the appearance of any of the fine lines on my face which is the main reason I wanted to use this serum.

I like the fact that it is plant-based, gluten and vegan free. It is made close to home in Canada. I’m not opposed to using this serum again but I wished it would have worked on my fine lines.

I have sensitive skin and this still worked great for me! I usually use a different brand because of my sensitivity and rosacea but this worked great with both issues! I did notice I had to apply a separate moisturizer post use but that was listed in the instructions anyway.

It worked faster than I expected too! I thought I would need several days use to see results but I saw them after ONE! I felt them more than anything! I will be using this product more going forward!.

I use a lot of expensive moisturizers, and I actually think this does a better job than any of them! I apply morning and evening on top of a spray essence and serum, feels sticky for about 10 seconds and then dries down to the softest, loveliest texture.

My skin feels seriously baby soft. And when I wake up in the morning it’s the absolute SOFTEST it’s ever been, still super plump and hydrated without being greasy at all. Agreed with other reviews that it really hydrates and softens fine lines around the eye area without being remotely irritating.

Ialuset Hyaluronic Acid Cream is excellent! It is soothing and very moisturizing! I use it in the evening on my neck and face before I apply my night cream. It has helped improve my neck wrinkles. It has no fragrance, and it feels good on the skin and absorbs quickly! If you are looking for a good moisturizing cream that will not irritate your skin, look no further! I will buy this again.

The tube is huge and will last a long time!.

This stuff is amazing. I was very surprised to see how thick of a cream where usually HA is more of a liquid. I like skin care products to Be very dewy and was hesitant at first with this cream. But wow after using one night my skin has literally never felt softer, I do find it’s best by itself, sometimes I’ll use a sleeping mask over it but make sure no other HA are used because this one is potent.

I also apply to very damp skin. Def a new holy grail for me.

I live in the high desert of Colorado Springs. This is my first winter here and it has been brutal on my skin, making me so incredibly dry. My usual moisturizer was just not cutting it during these winter months.

I decided to try to boost it by adding a layer of the Good Molekules Hyaluronic Serum underneath and OH MY, has it made a HUGE difference. My skin is so much softer! It looks and feels fantastic! It worked instantly.

I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. If I miss a day, I can tell the difference. It has not caused any breakouts so I am super optimistic about the long term use. And, at 50 years old, I even think it seems to be plumping the fine lines I am sporting.

Compared to the Ordinary and Inkey List HA, Good Molecules by far has the best consistency and packaging. I loved it so much and been using it for a couple of months. I’ve used Ordinary and Inkey list in 2020 during pandemic and it works but not a fan of the ordinary’s consistency and Inkeys packaging.

My husband uses my skincare so I end up buying double. It’s affordable and I didn’t have a problem with it. I have 4-5 empty bottles of it. But, I’m almost 30 and now I want something more effective and focus on anti-aging.

It did keep my face hydrated, but not that much. My skin still looks the same. I have sensitive, oily/combo, acne-prone skin, blemish, pores. I will discontinue buying this just because I want something more for my skin and most likely it’ll be skincare products that will be a little expensive.

You get what you pay for. It’s a great starter for those who wants to try HA.

This serum is lightweight, without all the extra oils and such that most products seem to want to add. I love that it has aloe vera, which is nutritive and firming to my skin. Combined with the hyaluronic acid, it keeps my skin hydrated through the entire day in the super dry western climate where I live.

I love Reviva products! I have been using their products for 35 years. I don’t understand why, when they’ve got A terrific product that everyone is loving and enjoying and buying up like crazy, that they would change it.

I loved this product before they change the formula and now I will never buy again. I quickly returned it and have already found another product to try and I believe I’m gonna like this one. The feel of it is much better and similar to what this hyaluronic acid product used to be.

I have used different PC products off and on for over 10 years, some left me unimpressed but never irritated. I avoid fragrance in all my products and keep any actives on the low side. My skin was dry and dehydrated from winter and occasional retinol use so I cut back all my products to just a hydrating fragrance free cream cleanser and French pharmacy brand moisturizer for dry sensitive skin for a week.

It worked in calming my skin down but it wasn’t quite moisturizing enough so I thought I would add something healing and benign like this serum with HA and ceramides after cleansing and before my moisturizer.

I always patch test products on my arm first and have used other products with HA without issue but it quickly turn my face back to red and irritated and tight. This may work if your skin is already healthy but then why would you need this serum? Seems like a lot of people are reaching for this to help with dryness and dehydration, and rightfully so because that is what it is claimed to be for, but it is too strong and irritating when your skin is in a weakened state.

Wouldn’t recommend. It also seems like a terrible value, it comes in a bottle ½ the size I was expecting and pumps out a huge amount.

I love Paula’s Choice products & have a great routine built up made of the Resist, Skin Recovery & Clinical lines. I also use the C15, Peptide & Moisture Renewal Oil Boosters so I thought since this product is supposed to hold in moisture, it would be great for my dry skin.

But nope. It sunk into my skin very quickly & left it feeling extremely dry & tight. I certainly wasn’t expecting that & so I tried a few more times & each time had the same result. All I can say is that I am glad I didn’t splash out on the regular size bottle & I will be sticking to my usual skincare routine in future.

I use almost entirely Paula’s Choice products and wanted to try this in my routine. A couple weeks ago, I noticed my entire face felt itchy and I suspected it was just due to this winter’s dryness, so I began moisturizing constantly.

I ended up having flaky patches on my chin and forehead and stopped using all of my products except for my nightly PC moisturizing cleanser and my moisturizer. Today, after a full week off from products, my skin felt “normal” and I wanted to try my routine again.

As soon as I put this product on, I felt my skin get tingly. I immediately went to wash it off but regardless, now have red patches in the places I applied it and have extreme itchiness. I’m glad to have pin pointed the cause of the skin irritation but have spent my entire workday today trying not to itch my red, burning forehead and reapplying moisturizer every 5 seconds.

The Orinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 can also be used on the skin to acheive the “glass-skin” look without make-up (SPF only). To acheive this “glass-skin” look, I recommend a hydrating and moisturizing cleanser, then pay dry.

If you’re layering serums, a general rule of thumb is to use thinnest/lightweight serums first. When using Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum, add it to dry skin, let it absorb and apply a few drops without touching the applicator directly into your face.

(Rub a few drops on clean hands and then apply to face, especially the cheek area where you want some plumping action, but all over too yes, you can definitely add this to your neck declotte!) I LOVE that this product is cruelty free, vegan, and free of oil, alcohol, gluten, and silicones.

Although the packaging from The Ordinary is ordinary, I love their skincare and this product because it adds to your natural moisture barrier you have already in your skin. I live in a dry climate void of any moisture in the air, so I prefer to either sandwich this product between a thin lotion or SPF, apply The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum over, and allow to dry/absorb.

Then, I love to pat a water based lotion atop such as the Laneige Water Bank Moisturizer Overnight Mask, which I use as a daytime moisturizer to seal in the serum. THIS gives that glass skin look, or of you add a thicker lotion, such as CeraVe or CeramideX, over or even Aveeno’s calm and restore oat water gel hydrating formula.

something you enjoy that will hydrate AND protect the moisture barrier because this product is unique in the sense that the Hyaluronic Acid molecules are large and will bind to any humectant or moisture it comes into contact with.

Also, Yes. you can put this on your lips, but I don’t recommend using it for that purpose because the effect is short term on the lip area. Perhaps adding it to a more emolient lip balm could allow the Hyaluronic Acid to promote a lasting plumping effect.

Also, this is fine to use on hair for extra moisture!! Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant that keeps your moisture barrier even, helps skin retain elasticity, combats fine lines, alleviates wrinkles, smoothes out texture, plumps skin, and quenches skin.

Vitamin B5 helps with surface hydration to the skin, giving this product an added bonus among many others! Also, If you use other serums from The Ordinary such as their Niacinamide serum, it pairs lovely with this product.

The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum has a sticky, viscous feel that absorbs within under a minute and I ONLY paid under $6 for the bottle!!! That’s an amazing deal! I know there are drugstore Hyaluronic Acid serums that cost much more than this lovely product which is sold at Sephora, Ulta, many beauty stores and is a luxury brand, but costs less! It simply has pure ingredients.

I think anyone would benefit from this product, but always do a patch test first. It will not clog pores or cause acne. I’m running low and will be purchasing a new bottle ASAP! Hope this helps! (I have dry, acne-prone skin) Keep in mind, If you live in a humid environment, a very sheer moisturizer or even just an SPF might be all you need with this product!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have very sensitive skin and have to be careful with the products I use. I get the odd hormonal spot here and there, but the main issue I have is with dull and tired looking skin.

Also now I’m in my late 20s, I’ve started seeing lines in my forehead and a change in my skin. I’ve been using this for a week now and can already see a difference. Email the ordinary with a photo of your skin and your problem areas and they send a breakdown of the best skincare routine for you! Every skincare routine should be tailored to your specific skin type, but for someone with combination sensitive skin, this has worked perfectly for me.

If you have the same skin type, this may work for you. But would suggest emailing the ordinary as they’re the experts. I’ve been using the ordinary squalane cleanser. If I’m wearing makeup, I always double cleanse.

Then I dab my face with a towel a few times, so my face is still damp. Next I use the ordinary Nianamide 10% + zinc. After that, I use the natural moisturising factors + Ha from the ordinary. At night I do the same thing, but put the ordinary retinol 1% in squaline after the niacinamide and before the natural moisturiser factors.

I don’t use retinol in the day as it attracts UV rays. I made the mistake of cleansing in the shower then following this routine. My face went really blotchy, so have just been following my routine when I get out the shower and haven’t had any issues.

Probably just me though as my skin is really sensitive. I was really nervous using so many products on my face as I’m used to just cleansing and moisturising. But for someone with sensitive skin, I’d highly recommend the ordinary products!.

I bought this on a whim when i was at sephora looking for something to help plump my new fine lines (thank you stress) and I had tried so many different product that just were not helping (ranging in price from 10 to 100 bucks.

) I was frustrated and was about to shell out a couple hundred bucks on a well know yet very expensive skin care line thats not “clean” just to avoid botox / fillers as a little longer (mama was desperate.

) Saw this and figured F*it! Ill give this a shot and will return the expensive one if this cheapy doesnt work. Yall!. it works!!! One week in and my old forehead wrinkle is less noticeable and my new one just below and parallel is hard to see.

And my 11s are so much less obvious. Im notorious for my “WTF” face and the 11s are hard to avoid, but i feel better having this in my arsenal. I apply my retinol or AHA/BHA night serum (alternating nights) then target with this on areas of concern.

Followed by thick moisturizer and oil. Its very thick and if you want to apply all-over your face then i recommend applying a light mist of moisture to your face to give it the moisture to spread out on the skin.

Since i spot treat my fine lines, i go straight out the dropper. I gently press in and allow to dry to its tacky finish before pressing moisturizer on and up/out. Its excellent and i will continue to buy over and over.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this product! I have combination/oily skin and do suffer from hormonal acne around especially my chin area. I can’t really speak for the one star reviews as this is simply an amazing product for an outstanding price.

It could be the way they are applying (or misapplying) the product, could be skin allergies or sensitivities etc. and to that I say it is simply trial-and-error and finding out what works and what doesn’t.

For me, when I find something that works well- I stick with it! I would really recommend at least giving this product a try, for this price it is a STEAL, I wouldn’t sleep on it. A few thousand five star reviews can’t all be wrong! I have some fine lines and wrinkles, and after using this- it plumps those areas right up! No lie.

My forehead wrinkles and fine lines practically vanish, and even deeper, more stubborn ones between my eyebrows fill out some! My skin just drinks this up. It is extremely thick and concentrated- a little bit of this goes a longggg way.

I wouldn’t suggest just globbing or slathering this particular serum on. It is very hydrating/plumping and the B5 helps immensely with irritation, so it is VERY nice to use on the same evenings that I have used products containing chemical exfoliants such as glycolic acids, AHA’s or BHA’s in general.

It definitely calms my skin, and layering this serum with my AHA/BHA or retinols definitely prevents my skin from drying out or acting up afterwards, as those products can tend to be irritating. How I use it at night: I first wash, exfoliate, gently pat my skin dry, and then tone my skin.

The exfoliation and toning are a crucial step, and help to “prime” my skin to best absorb the serums and moisturizers to follow. I use a glycolic acid serum first, and allow it to dry down and absorb.

Then, I apply a couple drops of this serum, again letting it dry down. Next, I apply Sunday Riley’s A+ High dose retinoid serum. Finally, I apply a small amount of a thick emollient cream (Like Farmacy’s Honey Halo).

This product blends well with my other serums and creams and using it as a layer between my AHA’s and moisturizer keeps my skin from experiencing any intense side effects from the AHA’s. During the daytime, under makeup this stuff is an excellent primer and has some grip.

It also makes your skin look fabulously dewy and glowing. The key is to wash your face and tone. Then apply this and your moisturizer and let it all soak into your skin for 5-10 minutes before applying makeup.

I personally have combo skin, and hormonal acne. I bought this since I love the Neutrogena HydroBoost moisturizer (both regular and night time one!) to add in some SPF into my routine. It does smell slightly like sunscreen, and it goes on white like sunscreen.

BUT, I am able to use it with and without makeup, which is awesome. Pros: It doesn’t leave the typical sunscreen residue on your face. After application, it just feels like how your serums would. When it dries, it absorbs really well and you wouldn’t even realize it was sunscreen / moisturizer.

Also, I noticed it doesn’t burn my eyes like typical sunscreen does. Cons: Can’t say too much here, since I’ve only been using it for about a month, and this is the first time I’ve had SPF implemented into my skin care routine.

Takeaways: Definitely worth the purchase if you’re looking for SPF. It’s easy to add into your existing routine, and not so costly that you will regret purchasing it if it doesn’t end up working. As long as you don’t experience any adverse side effects, and you don’t notice much of a difference, it still does have SPF so its something you can pack on vacation for a supplemental facial/neck/chest sunscreen.

This moisturizer with SPF could be a great all-in-one option for some people. The moisturizer dispenses as a thin cream (consistency feels more similar to sunscreen than moisturizer) and blends into skin quickly.

I have oily-combo skin and this finished matte for me within just a couple of minutes. The bottle says it sits great under makeup, which I never tried, but would believe. It’s unscented and if anything has a faint sunscreen smell that doesn’t last long at all.

For anyone familiar with Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line of moisturizers, this feels thinner and less intensively moisturizing. Because of this, I tried using it on top of my normal gel moisturizer and found that it pilled pretty badly.

In warmer months, I think this could be a very suitable all-in-one moisturizer/sunscreen combo, but for the winter, I don’t think it will provide enough moisture unless your skin is very oily.

I started using the Neutrogena FMT Hydro Boost Blue Opal with the idea in mind that this product was supposed to be a sort of 3-in-1 daytime skincare product. It’s got all the items I would use normally in the morning (moisturizer, Hyaluronic Acid, and SPF) in 1 convenient bottle.

But I was left feeling underwhelmed. As a moisturizer, it is lacking. My dry skin didn’t feel quenched instead I feel like the SPF 50 overpowered the hydrating effects. Don’t get me wrong, I love the SPF level and seriously believe everyone should wear it but in combination, it isn’t working.

The packaging says fragrance-free, which is true. There is no added fragrance but you are left with a sunscreen scent. My thinking, instead of just not using the product I am going to add it to my current skincare routine.

I do like the SPF level & how lightweight it feels. There’s no greasy residue or white cast. But as a stand-alone product, my skin would not be getting the hydration it so desperately needs.

I decided to try a new skin care brand. My Cetaphil cleanser has been my best friend however, I just needed an extra boost in my skins hydration and dullness. I bought the Oat Cleansing Balm along with the Fulvic Acid Cleanser, Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Targeted Blemish Duo.

I will say that I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about The Inkey List Skin care but let me tell you my experience. I have extremely oily skin, not really acne prone except for hormonal breakouts, but bad discolouration and scarring.

Nothing in this world can make my skin dry, not even the Sahara Desert. This product along with the others dried out my skin so terribly that it was flaking off, my entire face broke out and it’s been a month of trying to recover my skin.

I couldn’t narrow it done to which product was causing this or if it was all of them, did some test patches and it was everything. The Targeted Blemish Duo was the only thing that didn’t negatively affect my skin, there was just no improvement either, so it did nothing.

I feel as though I damaged my entire skin barrier with these products that are so highly recommended that I would not even use it if it was the last skin care product bottle left on this earth and my make up has been seeped into my skin for a year.

I have also tested out A LOT of skin care, keeping up with trends and trying to find what works best for my skin. I’ve had products that didn’t help my skin at all but I’ve never come across a product that actually made my skin peel/flake off and react this way especially with the outrageous breakout.

Disappointed is an under statement and I would not recommend this product for anyone with oily, dehydrated skin. Keep your skin care if it works for you…. Just look for some additional targeted treatment products.

I’ve been loving all the Inkey List products! This hyaluronic acid serum is great! Very similar to other formulas from other more expensive brands and I love the added bonus of the Matrixyl 3000! I don’t know how much is in there but for under $8 as an added bonus, I’ll take it! The formula is a very light, almost watery gel and it absorbs very quickly into skin.

It does leave skin a bit tacky for a minute but that’s a plus when applying makeup most of the time and if you’re using it before bed you should be topping it with an occlusive and emollient moisturizer anyway which takes away that tackiness.

Plus more expensive serums also leave this tackiness, I don’t really think of it as a negative. Just be sure you are using your hyaluronic acid serums correctly because if applied wrong they can have the opposite effect and dry your skin out more by sucking moisture from the skin.

You should apply it to a damp face (either freshly washed or sprayed with water or mist) and then top it with an emollient and occlusive moisturizer to lock the moisture in. Anyway, definitely worth a try!.

This serum is a GAME CHANGER. During the past few months of winter my skin had always become dry, flaky, and tight every time I would use my cleanser, especially in the forehead and sides of my nose.

Even after using my moisturizer it still wasn’t enough to keep those problems in check and I had to keep reapplying with no luck in controlling it whatsoever. Now after using the hyaluronic acid serum, my skin looks hydrated and PLUMP! The only area it hasn’t worked on though are the sides of my nose cuz it’s still dry and red, so idk if I might need to concentrate the product on that region more or maybe I just need to buy something else from The INKEY List that will help target that problem? Or maybe I’m just using it wrong haha.

Also PLEASE MAKE THE BOTTLE BIGGER! I’m so grateful that this serum exists cuz it’s reasonably affordable compared to others which are ridiculously overpriced, but I feel like customers will get more bang for their buck if the amount was increased.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product to a friend! Will definitely be purchasing again once I’m out.

I’ve been using this cream for years, not only on my face, neck and hands, but all over my body! I apply when my skin is still wet after showering and it spreads like lotion. I’m 72 and everyone tells me my skin looks so young.

During my last mammogram, the technician said “Your skin is so soft”. Ladies will know that we cannot apply any cream day of mammogram. I told her that I use Puritan’s Pride Hyaluronic Acid Cream. She responded, “I know Puritan’s Pride.

I’m going to order it right now”. Enough said!.

I’ve been using this product for over a month now and I love it. I’ve used other brands which I was pleased with as well, but it was discontinued. I ran across this one and decided to give it a try and WOW!!! I’m glad I did.

All it takes is a small amount the price is great and not only that, it comes in a 4 ounce jar. Prior to that I was getting a 2 ounce jar and paying a higher price. Thank you Puritan.

Five out of the six facial products I use are CeraVe. I’ve been using this product for about a month now. When I was first looking for an Hyaluronic product, I of course looked to CeraVe first. I was disappointed that I couldn’t find the percentage of Hyaluronic Acid on the package or anywhere.

I looked under the questions section on Amazon and everyone said that CeraVe doesn’t give out proprietary ingredient info. I can understand that, however, I don’t think the main ingredient, in this case Hyaluronic acid, to be part of a proprietary blend and inhibits consumers from making informed decisions about what products they are buying.

Other companies list the amount of it on their labels. this has left a bad taste in my mouth and now I’m questioning my continued use of CeraVe products. L’Oréal Revitalift has no problem stating their percentage.

1. 5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid. I will stop using the CeraVe and purchase the Revitalift, since I know what I’m am purchasing. Maybe CeraVe has a higer concentration, but since I don’t know, I’ll have to go with what I do know.

Sorry CeraVe, bad call on your part on this issue and you most likely lost a long time customer.

I love the feel of this serum & the legit hydration. I also use the Vitamin C serum (first) and feel the dropper applicator works better for that product. After a few tries I’ve learned to squeeze the top before untwisting it; this draws up the most product into the tube.

The consistency is more gel-like than the Vit C, but even that small amount smooths across my face easily. Love, and certain to reorder!.

Since learning of the importance of using products with Hyaluronic Acid I tried several recommended by my dermatologists. After purchasing the Replenix Hyaluronic Acid Hydration Serum for the first time approximately a month ago I am obsessed with the effectiveness of this for my skin!! It has transformed my skin! It hydrates, plumps, smooths and makes my skin feel amazing! I am 60 yrs old & very regimented with my skincare routine.

This is a must in my skincare regime! Absolutely recommend!.

I’ve been using Replenix Hyaluronic Acid for a year now. At first I honestly didn’t understand the point behind it but I’ve been complimented on my skin countless times for the first time in my life this last year.

My clients say, your skin is so dewy! I checked out the ingredient list on some other brands and I love that the hyaluronic active ingredients on Replenix is within the first 5 named. That’s a big deal because I’ve been taught that anything outside of the first 7 ingredients is usually ineffective.
