the concept is awesome. however, everything is exactly as they say 3 helmets in one. the detachable lower half is a real pain in the back side to release. all other parts are flawless. I’ve had 2 other scorpion helmets.

the evo 250 and the fullface version too. the weight difference is so much better. but the sizing is off for this helmet. i took and xl in old style and on the covert x seems loose. i would suggest one size down.

i use scullcandy indy evo pods will riding straight pipe harley. i can hear music just fine and the chin straps apply enough side pressure to keep them in ear even in half shell mode. i did notice that previous version air vents circulate air better though.

all in alll would purchase again.

Looks awesome… but horrible to actually ride in. The wind noise is EXTREMELY LOUD, the visor lets wind in that causes my eyes to water, and it is about as arrow dynamic as a brick, my head is tossed around like a rag doll doing anything over 45-50mph.

It’s also not able to use wireless blue tooth because of the way it’s made inside, no where to mount/stick the ultra thin ear speakers. Even wearing normal tiny ear buds, the way the helmet is made the ear buds are pressed into your ears until it hurts.

Only good thing about this helmet is it looks good. But if they fix all of these things then it’s a $500+ helmet. Therefore, just don’t waste your time or money.

Overall, I like the lid. Love the integrated visor and that it comes with a clear one to swap as well. It fits perfect although after prolonged time on the melon, the upper ears start to feel uncomfortable.

The removable chin piece is nice and the airflow through the front is sufficient to keep the face cool in warmer weather but ibwoyldnt recommend if riding in colder weather unless wearing a neck gaiter.

The vents on the top don’t really seem to offer any more airflow that is perceptible. Also, if you’re like me and wear sunglasses behind the visor, be aware if you have polarized glasses. Once you flip the visor down, you get all the wavy lines and it can take some time to adjust to.

It does make all dark colored cars look like they have a chameleon type paint job though! Happy with the purchase and would recommend for a decent helmet on a budget.

Spellbinding and complex, Liane Moiraty does it again with a beautifully written and thrilling story. The husband’s secret was a little bit of a slow start, but once I pieced together the plot it was hard to put down.

It felt like I was starting a new book three times, and I wasn’t sure how they fit together at first. Once I realized how they fit, it became much more interesting. The story follows three women’s lives and shows the situation from each of their perspectives.

This book weaves a complex and interesting story that requires you to pay attention. It dives deep into all of their lives and the problems they are each facing, as well as connecting them all together to the bigger story.

Cecilia finds a letter from her husband to open only if he has died. Which he hasn’t. He is very much alive, and adamant that she doesn’t open the letter. The husband’s secret isn’t revealed right away, which I loved because it kept me guessing.

And when she finally read the letter, it was not what I was expecting. The way the story wraps is shocking and perfect. A karmic ending for most of the characters. I didn’t see it coming. I say most of the characters because I really grew to love some, and I had hoped Tess’s story would have ended differently.

Though the author probably chose the more realistic ending. I connected with the characters and was invested in their lives and what happened to them. Nothing about this book was what I expected. It kept me guessing the whole time.

A truly exhilarating book with so much depth.

The opening passage in Moriarty’s The Husband’s Secret is in regards to the legend of Pandora, which is very appropriate considering the book’s plot. The story follows three women threaded together by a terrible secret, unbeknownst to them all.

The only common bond the three likable protagonists know they share is their connection to a local school. First is Cecilia, a mother of three girls and wife to John-Paul, the writer of the letter referred to in the book’s title.

Next is Rachel, an older woman whose life revolves around her two-year-old grandson and her struggle with her daughter’s mysterious death. Finally there is Tess, who deals with intense family issues, especially with her closest cousin, Felicity.

Moriarty’s fluid writing style weaves the separate, yet connected, stories together seamlessly and effortlessly. From the intriguing opening to the last chapter, The Husband’s Secret is compelling and full of seemingly minute details that are ultimately revisited and explained.

The connection shared by the women is shocking and terrible. Even more shocking is the mercy shown by the characters and the resolutions to which they arrive. The novel ends with an epilogue of sorts, in that its words wax nostalgic and clearly answer the eternal question, “What could have been?”.

I have a habit of trying to guess a plot or ending of a book as I read. But this one always had me second guessing and on the edge of my seat. The story is beautifully written. It is one of the stories that follows multiple characters but they all some how intertwine with one another’s lives.

You’ll be pressed wondering what the main character Cecilia will do after learning her husbands secret. How will the events unfold and affect all the other true and humble characters.

My new XXL husbando came in the mail yesterday and it’s already changed my lounge life for the better. When presented with the densely packed package, I was perplexed how such an XXL item could fit in such a tiny envelope.

But upon unwrapping, husbando expanded like one of those dino capsules you put in water as a kid. Except I put it in my dryer on medium heat for 20 min instead. This got rid of most of the stinky “offgassing” smell.

I was already Netflix and chilling with husbando that evening and hope we’ll be together even post pandemic for many years to come! Note that some reviews on Amazon complain the pillow is hard as a rock, however, you need a firm yet yielding husbando for support which is what you get.

It’s definitely not too hard but more akin to a comfy sofa type experience than a “pillow” pillow if that makes sense.

Unfortunately if you think you can prop up one or two regular pillows in bed, behind your back and they are going to stay in place for hours, they will not.

First off I have read where some people have complained about a smell from there pillow, I have a pretty sensitive nose and the pillow has no smell. Next I want to address the Pillow’s headrest adjust ability, which I could not figure out at first.

There are two big buttons on either side of the main part and the head rest pillow has two straps with three holes where it can be attached in three position. At first I attached it to the first hole (cause I could not see the other two) and I thought the headrest flopped around to much.

Then I saw the second and still not perfect. Then I buttoned the strap at the position at the hole closest to the head rest an Viola. Perfect. Just enough adjust ability. so the headrest can adjust on the fly without to much Play.

At first I thought the headrest was just a little soft and I don’t have a cell phone to text so I replied to one of the company’s e-mails, gave them my phone # and requested an additional bag of stuffing.

They replied to my e-mail with a Tracking # left a message on my answering machine right away and 2 days later I had my bag of stuffing ree of charge. I ultimately decided not to mess with it but I have it if I change my mind in the future.

The medical table and the Husband Pillow are two of the best purchases I have made in my life. My arm,back and neck pain are getting better by the day. The Arm rests are very nice and ergonomic. One additional thing I have figured out and would advise is after an hour or so you may start to slide down, I would get out of bed and sit back down correctly re-positioned as opposed to trying to push yourself back up.

This is the best thing you could possible own For sitting up in bed (or anywhere else) and doing stuff for hours at a time in comfort. Go for it.

Placed my Order on November 6th ! November 13th SOMETHING Arrived !?! Didn’t get what I ordered till DECEMBER 4th !! They TRIED to FORCE Something, OTHER Than what I Ordered, on me ! I Had an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT time Just Trying to Place the Order.

The Fiber fill I Wanted, WAS NOT Available in the website’s Drop down menu. I Had to make a Custom Order, instead of using the Main menu. Which ONLY had Memory Foam. So when I Ordered a Fiber filled, w/ Extra “Oomph”, Which they must Not have had in stock.

They Sent me a MEMORY FOAM Filled Pillow !!!!?!!!?!!! 😲😡😖😵😠 And then it Took an ADDITIONAL THREE WEEKS to get What I Ordered. The Memory foam Can NOT be WASHED. Oh! Almost Forgot And it STINKS 😫 !!! Like Musty, Mildew, mixed with the Smell of a Dirty Factory.

And it’s QUITE STIFF, And the Memory foam CHUNKS, Make for a LUMPY FEEL !! When I FINALLY got what I Ordered, WHAT A DIFFERENCE !! the Fiber fill is SOFT & COMFY, and NO LUMPS !!! I got the Extra “OOMPH” added (worrying that it Might Compress over the Years.

) So the SUPPORT is GREAT ! AND I Actually got the Extra bag of Fill, The SECOND TIME, Which I Haven’t Added. OH! And it’s MACHINE WASHABLE !!!! The Design is Lacking a bit. ESPECIALLY for the Price ! The ONLY Adjustments that can be made to the Neck roll pillow, is How far it Hangs down, IN the WAY !! (Shoulder Blade pillow ?!?) AND I Got the XXL ONE ! Unless you’re Less than 4ft tall.

Maybe. I had to Commission an Additional Button and Loop, in the Middle to Hold the Neck roll In PLACE !! And the Lumbar support, Well. The ONLY Reason THAT is Working for me. Is because I stuck the Neck roll pillow, from the Memory Foam pillow they TRIED to Force on me, in the Bottom Front of the Main pillow.

I enjoyed reading this book. Reading this sort of ‘happy’ type literature lightens my mood, by reducing my stress levels. The characters are believable and the emphasis is kindness and compassion. I would recommend all of Julia Quinn’s books, having only become a fan in the last few months after watching Bridgerton on Netflix.

Prefer the start and middle of this novel than the ending but still a pleasant read.

Loved it, a great read. I really enjoyed this series and am looking forward to reading more Julia Quinn’s books.

I have had this helmet for 4 months and while it’s not the greatest helmet ever it certainly had the features I was looking for. First of all this style of helmet is best suited for those with oval shaped domes as my roundular neck protuberance gets a little smooshed by the sides, it could just be because of my long hair or maybe my neanderthal genes made my forehead feel more like a fivehead in the thing but it doesn’t hurt and that’s what matters.

The design of the helmet is sharp and eye-catching which will help you avoid becoming flatter than a flounder with “poor body image”. I opted for the gold tinted visor and the everclear coating they use on it works as good if not better than my other helmet with a pinlock, it also provides just enough tint to not have to use the built in drop down sun visor unless it’s really in my eyes.

The top brim is removable and comes with plates to cover up the nakedness of the holes used to mount it. There are indents in the padding for glasses and I can attest that they’re useful in providing a comfortable housing for the eye-enhancing attire.

Speaking of indents there’s room for a hands-free unit’s speakers gouged out of the protective foam which provides a handy home for the headphones of the unit, I only with there was a decent place to put my microphone as the ones that came with my hands free unit either fit too tightly to be comfortable or don’t have a proper home to prevent obstruction from the modular system.

I believe another reviewer pointed out that these helmets aren’t rated for crashes with the chin-guard up which is a disappointment as they could really use better airflow. All-in-all it’s a great all-around choice for an ADV helm but if you’re looking at doing a bit more street than dirt I would look at either HJC or if you have the money go get a Klim or Shoei lid.

Exactly what I expected when I ordered this helmet. It?s a bit on the heavier side, which is to be expected with the modular mechanism. The sunshade is a fantastic feature. The visor works well at highway speeds, and doesn?t seem to catch the wind even when I turn my head.

Some of the mechanical parts could be a better quality, and it is in need of better venting, but I feel I got a good value for the price point of this helmet. Cardo Bluetooth system was installed with little difficulty.

Note: order one size larger than you would normally use. I fit comfortably in most medium helmets. I purchased the large, and it is very snug.

It’s the most important piece of gear you own and for good reason! One day it may just save your life like it did mine. I was recently on a trip up to Prince George bc from Abbotsford bc. About half way there on hwy 24 I caught gravel in a corner, over corrected and went straight off a 20ft embankment at highway speeds (never had a chance to hit the brakes).

This helmet and my scorpion optima jacket (also bought here) are what saved my life that day. I immediately got launched off the bike when it first landed (severely breaking my leg in the process) and slid on my back (protected by the back pad in the jacket), my face, the back of my head (both protected by my helmet).

My phone had broken in the crash and nobody had seen me go off the highway so my only option was to climb the embankment with my twisted, dislocated, fractured leg with every tendon snapped dragging behind me.

Had I not been wearing the proper gear at the time or had I been wearing cheaper gear of lesser quality, I have no doubt I would’ve died that day. I was almost not able to make it with the injuries I had, if I had more then the broken leg, there’s no way I would’ve made it.

A girl and her pony up against wild creatures of the sea! This book will take your breath away and leave the taste of sea water on your tongue. I loved this book and will read it again..

This book captures the imagination to a real world level. Every page had me on edge, every chapter left me wanting to read the next. You fall in love with the characters and connect with them. The author is pretty great too, I have read almost all of her books.

Would so suggest this, I’ve read it twice, and now want my own copy.

Maggie Stiefvater has yet to let me down with anything she writes. Although, this particular story is aimed at younger readers compared to her usual YA stuff – it is still a great read and definitely a book I’ll be recommending!.

So pleased with my purchase. Easy to apply and results are amazing! I wore them with no one seeing me applying them, and the comments were your eyes look lovely, do you have different make up on? The strips arent noticeable when wearing them.

I love the look and the feel to these darts. They fly pretty straight and they are narrow so you can tightly group your darts. They are also made with great quality in mind.

Comfortable, breathable, toasty warm and nice and light. However doesn’t pack down quite as small as I expected – definitely wouldn’t be a backpack friendly bag but great for drive to camping expeditions.

This is a beautiful, quality wig and the fit was perfect. My head measurement’s are 21 3/4” circumference and 7” from hairline to chin. I’m a true average. I didn’t need any adjustments. The synthetic fibers are silky soft and there’s lots of easy movement.

I ordered Marble Brown but the color was more of a dark,VERY DARK brown. It’s a pretty color, but not what was pictured (above). I wanted to exchange for Pralines and Cream, however the price had increased by $60.

I have recently received my 4th Vogue wig; I have not yet tried it on but am confident it will fit and look as beautifully as the others. The Scorpio wig for me not only fits well but is a great style.

The helmet is decent in quality. The fit and finish is nice. The features are exactly what I want – dramatic visibility, a nice peak, wide visor, modular design, D-Ring strap retention, drop down inner visor.

I can’t get my head wrapped around the inner visor though. For street riding it is ok, for gravel roads, not so good, for off-road abysmal. There is no positive lock for the inner visor so when you go over bumps you can see it rattle in and out of where it retracts into the helmet.

When I go over a larger bump it comes down about 1/4″ each time. On a gravel road with washboard it works it’s way down completely. This ranges from mildly annoying to downright throw it in the ditch intollerable.

Too bad. My Voss has an inner visor that snaps positively in place when it is retracted and that helmet was 1/2 the price.

I bought 2 of these. L and M. Both fit well. Subtle size difference. I can wear either and the both fit well. My wife wears the M. Same shell size. All the parts are interchangeable. It’s a great value flip up with a good wide lens.

I ride all summer with it on a motorcycle and look forward to trying it in the winter. I bought a heated visor and will switch to that for the winter. Only cons so far, slightly more ventilation could have been added, the breath box nose piece could use more adjustment, and so I removed mine for the summer,.

I had a BV2S so I am used to a pretty amazing breath box system.

All of my current and previous helmets were size large. I followed the instructions for sizing and it seemed that buying a large in this helmet would fit, and allow for extra wiggle room. Absolutely not! It was too tight, and I had already read that others did the same thing with buying what should have fit, it was tight, and the helmet never really broke- in for them.

I returned it immediately and ordered the 2xl. I am by no means a 2xl. The 2xl is still a bit tight in places. I have a standard, American shaped head but it feels like it’s tight above my forehead, as if my head is long from front to rear.

When I try to put it on wearing my glasses, it feels like I am going to damage them. When I put my glasses on after, it’s really not a good feel how they go over my ears. This is probably a better helmet in this category, but it is leaps and bounds Behind the fit of my Schuberth.

If you’ve owned only cheaper or motocross helmets before this helmet it will probably feel good. If you’ve owned higher end helmets and have ridden for multiple days in a row with other helmets and suffered no discomfort, you will quickly realize that this helmet isn’t going to provide you with the same experience.

I’d probably rather see it priced lower since it’s not the most comfortable of helmets.

Some quick qualifiers: I ride a Harley Road Glide (as opposed to an adventure bike or something else); I’ve been wearing the helmet without the peak-visor; I’ve worn this for about 950 miles now, with 450 of that coming in one day.

The shape of the helmet is closer to round-oval than intermediate-oval. It leaves me sore at the front of my forehead after a bit. The cheek pads are tight! They are uncomfortably tight after wearing the helemt for extended lengths of time.

Nothing has changed after all the miles. The drop-down sun visor is more of a novelty than something useful. In addition, the sun visor is NOT optically correct (i. e. it distorts your view as if putting on new prescription glasses the first time).

I’ve taken to wearing sunglasses with the helmet as a result. My favorite pair of sunglasses have polarized lenses. I suspect that the anti-fog coating on the visor combined with my polarized lenses combine to really distort the natural colors of the environment.

I know this is my doing (in part) but it wouldn’t be so if the sun visor wasn’t a train wreck. The venting on the helmet is OK. The helmet is pretty quiet. until you open the top vent. but it’s not unbearable.

I also like how much room is around the ears (likely due to the rounder shape of the helmet). It offers plenty of room for a comm system, or wearing earbuds. For the price, 2-stars. I had hoped for more/better.

Told my husband I got him an awesome gift for Christmas. When he opened the package he was in shock because that was the LASTTT thing he expected to get. None of us could stop laughing for ten minutes and by the end of our laughing session he agreed to wear it in public.

The shirt was amazing as a gift for my husband. Happy about the 100% cotton quality but it is a bit of a harder cotton – need to size up as it shrinks. Otherwise, made my husband wear this frequently.

I bought this as a little joke present for my husband. When it arrived and I read it, I realised it’s not funny. Some of the pages make really uncomfortable reading such as eyeing up the nanny, spending time gambling instead of wanting to be home with the family, the wife crying herself to sleep at night.

Needless to say, I didn’t give this to my husband as a gift but let him read it before I took it to the charity shop. He thought it was awful too!.

All the books in this series are a great idea, but I suggest that the potential buyer really needs to read through them before buying, as they may not suit some people’s sense of humour. I bought it without doing this as I thought that it would really appeal to my friend and I, but was a bit disappointed to be honest.

in fact I did not even give it as a present in the end. The pictures and actual book are just as expected and a couple of pages are really amusing. I intend buying others in this series, but I will read through them first in a shop or library!.

Presented “How it works: The Husband” and “How it works: The Wife” to the happy couple, who thought it was hilarious to have “manuals” to start their married life.

I don’t even know where to start about how much I loved and appreciated this book. I decided to go through it during the month of February and I feel deep in my heart that it has changed who I am as a wife.

There were many nights when I would hold back tears as I read the incredibly God-anointed words on the page. This devotional is captivating for every wife, whether you are new at spending daily time with the Lord or if it is already a part of your daily routine.

You can tell by the way that Jennifer Smith (author) wrote this devotional, God was there. in every chapter, every page, and every word. Each day focuses on a different piece of your relationship with God and in tern, your relationship with your husband.

Was it challenging? YES. What is inspiring? DEFINITELY. Would I go through it again? YOU BETCHA! I found that Day 3 really spoke to my heart. The theme, “The Need for Companionship,” talked about how God desires companionship with you as much as you desire companionship with your husband.

I found that the “Challenge” section was my favorite part of each day’s reading. It gave me something specific to work on in a practical sense every day. I highly recommend this book to anyone!.

The Wife After God devotional is absolutely one of the best devotionals I have ever read! I have such a short attention span…if I am being honest…and I have to admit I don’t usually do well with devotionals.

But this is one I will keep coming back to. It is more than just a nice, touchy-feely devotional that is designed to make you feel good as a wife. No…it challenges you!! It offers you a challenge to dive into each day so that you can put feet to what you learned.

AND it also comes with journaling questions so that you can continue to learn more about yourself as a wife and a woman of God. It doesn’t matter where you are on your journey with the Lord or where your husband is on his journey (or if he is not on that journey at all yet).

You will be encouraged and challenged through this book. I found this especially helpful because I have been saved for over 20 years and my husband has only been saved less than a year. It works no matter what your walk looks like! I can’t recommend this book enough.

It has drawn out of me areas where I need to work on my relationship with God and with my husband that I didn’t even realize needed work!! It is truly an eye-opener. I especially enjoyed the chapter on Who You Are Called to Be.

It is an area I struggle with and this book gave me some great personal insight.

I started the Wife after God devotional when I needed some extra help and support with my marriage. My husband and I hit our 5 year wedding anniversary and I felt as though the enemy was doing everything to get to me and my husband and keep me/us from enjoying this time.

I prayed and ask God for guidance and I found your page on Facebook, then purchased the Wife after God devotional and The Unveiled Wife book. The devotional was what I needed to help me get closer to my husband and to draw me closer to God.

I loved the scripture reads and the story’s. I enjoyed the journaling to by answering the questions! It really helped me learn and see what I need to guide me in my walk with God and then use it in my marriage! I have since bought the devotional for my husband and he is enjoying his time with God more! Thank you for these books!
