As we all know babies have their own plan no matter how much we plan. I received this gown as a Christmas gift from my mom as we prepare for a January baby. At 35 weeks, I unexpectedly started having very close contractions and had to go to the hospital.

As I underwent the first round of observations, I was in a regular hospital gown. The nurses kept tugging up the hospital gown to check the monitors, it shifted as I attempted to rest, and we all know the show you give when you try to walk down the hall to go to the restroom.

Once I was admitted, I changed into my Kindred Bravely gown. It was amazing! Such a small piece of comfort went such a long way. The nurses even loved it! They all kept commenting how convenient and nice it was.

The entire front Velcros, so the nurses only had to un-velcro the small area to check the monitors. It has snaps around the arms which were perfect to fit around the blood pressure cuff. I could sleep comfortably as it didn’t move or come undone in the back.

And, getting up to go to the bathroom without having to cover my backside was just one less thing to worry about. Thankfully, we were able to head home and get keep this little one in a bit longer, but this gown immediately went in the wash to be packed for my delivery.

Soft, comfortable, good coverage and all the right openings. I purchased a different gown for my first pregnancy and it didn’t open down the front, only in the back which made it difficult when I had to strap the fetal heart rate monitor on my stomach.

It pulled the gown up so that I had to cover my bottom half with a sheet. I bought this gown for my second pregnancy because it opens in the front also so should be more practical and easier to wear.

I am 5’6” and was 170 lbs pre- pregnancy and currently at about 225 lbs, 46 in belly and got the XL-XXL and it fits just right. Loose but not huge on me. I debated whether it was worth it to buy a second one instead of just using the hospital gown but I will definitely feel more comfortable in this.

I was excited to wear this for my labor and delivery experience and only that part of my experience, but I ended up wearing it during my entire 4 1/2 day stay at the hospital and LOVED it. I’m even wearing it at home as I recover and nurse/pump.

It’s cute, comfortable, modest, and it has super easy access to the back, front, and *******. I don’t think I can say just how much I love this gown… many of my nurses also complimented it. Honestly it made my entire birthing experience better, as opposed to just being stuck in a hospital gown for days.

I think now I have a strong sentimental attachment to it!.

I’m so glad I had this for labor, delivery, & recovery in the hospital! It is so comfortable, accessible in every way, and much more flattering than hospital gowns. 🙂 \nOnly downside was the sizing gap; I’m typically a Large, but I was swimming the L/XL.

However, the drawstring allowed me to tighten it quite a bit, so it worked out. \nDefinitely recommend!.

I ordered a L/xL gown thinking I would need to size up. wrong. So I shipped back to receive a smaller size! I emailed to ensure my package was being taken care of and baby be mine was RIGHT ON TOP OF IT.

The robe and gowns were the perfect gift for my daughter’s hospital stay. They washed up beautifully and are comfortable and functionable. Also, the customer service was superior. I needed to exchange the gowns for mediums and they were so very helpful in expediting the exchange.

I bought the birthing/delivery gown 3 years ago and it was perfect! When I couldn’t find it this pregnancy I was so upset but I finally bought this one because I figured they’d be exactly the same. Nope.

This one seemed thinner, the buttons in the back were odd, and the elastic around the arms cut in and hurt. My other didn’t have any elastic. Luckily my hubby found my old gown and I returned this one.

I on my 4th hospital birth and this is my only requirement! No more nasty stiff hospital gowns for me. After my first go around I knew there had to be something better. Thank you baby be mine for making not only something better, but something amazing! So soft, functional, and comfortable! All moms to be.

I am looking forward to wearing this gown along with a pair of socks by Baby Be Mine in a few weeks when I deliver my first born. I am also excited to wear the gown around the house post-delivery! The gown is beautiful and seems to be very comfortable.

I am happy that I have this to wear as opposed to the traditional hospital gown!.

Fabric is not really nice, but maybe easy to wash. Anyway I got it before my delivery, and it looks like real hospital cloth. Too expensive.

I was very excited to receive the gown and robe set for my daughter who is a brand new mother. I received it and it smelled like chemicals right out of the plastic bags. I could not give it to her smelling like that and washed it.

She tried it on and did not like it. Now I cannot return it because I washed it, because of the fit. You can’t give a new mom something that smells so harshly of chemicals. Very disappointed.

I haven’t had the chance to wear this. Unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to wear this I will be saving it next time I have a baby. However the material is a little heavier which is nice because it can get cold in those hospital rooms.

This is very much worth whatever price you want to pay. I see it is in paperback now, so there are options. I loved it.

This was a very special and well written book. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I was reading and then contemplating the story. I highly recommend this book. Especially if you have a medical background.

As a Psychiatric Nurse, I found the information to be quite factual as to what occurs in a large hospital. The author does an excellent job of telling the stories of his patients. The historical background provided was quite interesting.

If I had to choose one product to recommend to all expecting moms about to give birth, it would be this kit. I have had 2 kids used this kit for both births. The gown socks are SO comfortable. You might think it seems pointless to purchase your own gown/socks since the hospital supplies them for free, but who wants to wear that scratchy uncomfy hospital gown during a time when you’re in the most pain you’ll probably ever experience?! The disposable underwear are another example of this.

I lived in them until 2 weeks postpartum, I even bought several more packs after I ran out of the ones in this kit. Same with the cooling maxi pads! They helped SO much with my recovery made the almost 4 weeks of bleeding more tolerable.

The peri bottle was so nice to have, as wiping can be incredibly painful after birth. The foam the wipes were soothing in ways that other products could never dream of. This kit would make an excellent baby shower gift, I promise the expecting mom will love you for it forever.

If you’re debating if it’s truly worth the money, I’m here to tell you, YES!!.

I bought this for myself and it arrived the day I went into labor. I really didn’t care about the hospital gown, so I just used the hospital provided one. However, everything else is great! The peri bottle with the angled neck is a must.

So much easier than the upright one from the hospital. The ice packs and witch hazel pad liners were so nice in those early healing days when I was super swollen. The disposable undies are ok, but a little itchy.

Then again, I didn’t have to worry about washing them! Even the box it comes in was great for setting up a little station in my bathroom for me to have easy access to everything I needed. I would probably not buy the whole kit again, but the smaller one with just the home recovery items.

This Frida Mom Labor and Delivery + Postpartum Recovery Kit is so nice and convenient! It comes nicely put together in a big box. Inside is also a cardboard toilet-top caddy. It comes with a super nice toiletry/accessory travel bag that will fit right in your hospital bag! Birthing gown is soft and comfortable with easy access for breastfeeding.

Ice pads are bulky but so are the hospital’s; They’re not very comfortable with the bulkiness, but the cooling is welcome. Disposable underwear were weird fitting, tight on my thighs and butt (I am a size 18 with a bigger booty and thighs).

I like the cooling liners; they felt relieving. The peri bottle is genius! Much more comfortable to use than the ones the hospital gives. The peri foam is also relieving. This set is nice, but you can get most of this stuff or like this stuff from the hospital for free.

Though the quality of these items in the kit is better.

I like that this gown is black (let’s be real: anything is better than the hospital gown that they give you in L & D). Unfortunately, I found that the top (chest area) was a little big and that the bottom (hips/belly area) was a little snug.

For reference, I am 36 weeks, 190 pounds and this is my third pregnancy. I ordered a size L. ***MAMAS BEWARE*** do NOT buy anything that is final sale from this site! As some of you may know, there are only two storefronts left in the US: one in Chicago and one in New York.

So, if you were to buy an item that is ineligible for return, it doesn’t fit you and you do not live in one of those two cities, you are SOL!!! Shame on you, Destination Maternity! Pretty heartless to do this to pregnant women during such a challenging time to find clothes that fit.

I ended up being in the hospital due to an early induction and an emergency c-section. For the first three days, the nurses loved that they could do everything they needed while I wore my own gown. I was comfortable in the fabric, that it smelled like home and happy to be decent.

After the surgery, I was stuck in the hospital gown for another few days and absolutely miserable. Needless to say, I just purchased a second gown for baby number 2 so that I will never have to wear a hospital gown again! The back snaps came in handy for the epidural, the skirt snaps came in handy when any doctors or midwives had to check out my progress, and the side hole for the wires were amazing since I didn’t have to have anything hanging out while being attached to the monitor.

I told all the other ladies in my pregnancy group to get one and I will tell everyone else the same thing.

This maternity gown was a lifesaver for me for my hospital stay after my unexpected c section. It’s super soft and easy to nurse in. And as a bonus, it’s cute! Highly recommend.

Great hospital gown! It was nice not having to wear the standard (read: ugly) hospital gown when I delivered. This was third pregnancy so I knew what I needed and wanted. Having a c-section, I needed a gown with back buttons for the epidural (check!), easy access for breastfeeding (check!).

Seems silly, but having something pretty to wear helps a lot when you are stuck in the hospital for a few days (check! Check! Check!). Fast delivery. Fair price. The only reason I knocked off a star is for material.

I was looking for something softer and more feminine (especially because I was delivering in the summer). It’s a bit thick like scrubs material (though some may actually like and want that).

4 stars instead of 5 because the sizes are different for the different products. I had looked at their delivery dresses and determined I needed an XL. Then I bought everything I wanted from this shop in an XL.

Unfortunately, the different products have different size-to-body-measurments. I should have bought a XXL instead. Partially my mistake because the information is available, partially the seller’s for not pointing out that every product has it’s own size chart.

Hopefully I can regift it to another, smaller soon-to-be mom.

I loved having my own gown at the hospital. I wore it through labor and after delivery, but the one the hospital provided during delivery. We weren’t sure how long we’d be in the hospital because I was induced, and the thought of wearing a thin gown the whole time sounded terrible.

I felt covered when I was walking around, breastfeeding was easy, and nurses had access to whatever they needed to do their checks. I got so many compliments!.

I have a hard time buying leggings that I like and that fit well and when I do they are usually quite pricey. I love these leggings—super soft material, high waisted to give me a waist and just the right amount of compression to smooth me out.

I have already ordered two more leggings! Also bought the matching sports bra and love it!.

I love these leggings for many reasons. Good fit. Comfortable. Design good for coordinating. Color good for summer. Larger hidden pockets ( so concealed that my trainer showed me ). Easy on and off.

I have not actually used these yet as I returned them for a larger size. They were a little smaller than usual. I love MPG leggings. I have lots of them. They fit well, great fabric and now with the high waist, they are even better.

I bought this for a labor gown. I was very happy at the fast shipping, especially since I almost waited too long to order. I am petite and the hospital gowns could fit several of me in them and in general just aren’t comfortable, so I thought this time I would try bringing my own gown.

This gown was perfect!! The fabric is thick and soft. The style had everything you could want, from snaps on the back making it easy when the time came for getting an epidural placed, the wrap front on the belly for easy monitor placement and quick skin-to-skin after delivery, and the snaps at the shoulder for easy nursing.
