20 Best Home Remedy For Warts (2023 Updated)

We first got this product when my 4 year old daughter had a wart on the bottom of her foot. We put this on twice a day and it worked! The wart was gone in a couple weeks. Fast forward a few months and my 6 year old son got three warts on his hand.

I have flat warts which originally I thought were tiny skin tags. After dermatologist appointments, I was told they were actually flat warts. I decided to get some dermatologist quotes to get them removed.

Dr. Scholl’s&® Dual Action Freeze Away&® Wart Remover is a very useful set to have, the instructions are attached to the packaging on a nice sturdy container that folds open. Each treatment cycle has it’s own compartment.

I do like the visual instructions on booklet, the visual step by step makes it easier to understand how to use this product. This dual action kit works very nicely my daughter, who occasionally gets warts, that at times is embarrassing for her.

The tip is very easy to screw on can and needed no assistance in doing this. The blue activator piece was very easy to push into can. The freezing of the wart was no longer than 40 seconds and just felt like a cold ice breeze on the wart, the coldness did not hurt or feel to uncomfortable.

You have to wait 24 hours to apply liquid, which I though it was to long of a process at the time but the next day when I seen the results I was very pleased and happy to get this wart removed off my daughter.

This is my first experience using Dr. Scholl’s freeze away and I must say I am impressed. It comes in a case, inside the case it has an instruction booklet, freeze therapy can, a container of applicator tips.

The case actually is part of the process you simply screw one of the 7 tips on top of the can. You then press the can into the activator which is part of the case, I love that it isn’t a separate piece so you can’t lose it.

I can’t believe how effective this product is. I had a wart ON MY FACE!! It was at the lower left corner of my jaw bone so thankfully it wasn’t incredibly noticeable. The surface of the wart was hard and protruded away from my face a bit.

I like this product because it is non-acid. When you use an acid product it seems to promote the spread of the virus because of all the skin pealing it causes. When you use Naturasil, the wart infection slowly disappears without pealing and pain.

I have used many of the advertised products and this one is probably the best.

It works. However it is not for anyone. Other comment that it burns and hurts are correct, but, what did you exactly expect? It has to remove parts of your skin tissue. Of curse it burns and hurts! If you cant handle that, don’t buy it.

I had a wart for 10 years on my toe, it started to spread and to hurt. I’ve tried a lot of things I’ve read on the net, garlic, banana peel, duck tape etc. Even Chelidonium majus did not help me, even though it worked just fine on a wart I had on my finger when I was in grade school.

Here is my experiences to share with other consumers: (1) soak your feet in warm water; (2) have someone help remove as much skin as possible over the wart; (3) use “Freeze Off” 1~3 times consecutively – don’t bother reading the time table advices in the manual, just nonsense, use the applicator as long as the freeze liquid works (usually over one minute), you have to endure some discomfort and minor pain.

my daughter had gigantic wart that was like 3 or 4 warts stuck together or on top of each other, on the side of her thumb and also a few tiny warts on her hands. she had gone to the dermatologist to have them Frozen before with the liquid nitrogen but it’s extremely painful especially on the hands where you have the most nerve endings on the fingertips.

her hand would hurt and throb all day from it. so instead of putting her through that anymore we decided to buy this and try it out. OH MY GOSH!. IT WORKS!!! she is so happy now because it shrank that gigantic wart on the side of her thumb all the way down to almost nothing you can’t even barely see where it was and a little warts are almost disappeared completely too.

Our dermatologist gave us this for plantar warts on the bottom of my daughter’s foot. She had one big one on ther bottom of her foot that our regular doctor froze, and later told us that a dermatologist would probably have to cut it out.

The dermatologist told me that cutting them out is temporary. They usually always come back in that same area. He told us to use the wart stick on her foot and cover it with regular old duct tape. Yes, that’s right, duct tape.

Application is very easy. Works better if you keep it covered with a secure bandage.

First time I’ve used a dry product to eliminate scar tissue. Doesn’t work overnight but given some time the scar buildup goes away. I’m not completely healed but I’m on the mend. About warts I would think that given some time and being religious about applying twice a day and covering per label directions you should see results fairly soon.

After two freezngs by my doctor, this worked great to remove my wart. Just before going to bed, apply the product to the wart, cover with a bandage and go to bed. In the morning remove the bandage. Repeat until the wart falls off – in my case about seven nights.

This really works, but you need to be really careful or you will spread warts all over the place especially if you are dealing with planter words. I actually spread a bunch of warts onto my hand treating a plantar wart and I had to use this for several weeks and Band-Aids to melt off at least five that formed on my hand during the several months process with my foot.

Basically, I cut my hand up on blackberry bushes and I wasn’t sanitary enough apparently dealing with treating my foot that the virus spread into every cut on my hand. I need my hands for work, and this was just really gross.

This worked pretty fast on my hands since they were new and I just used waterproof bandaids. I would let it sit on the wart for about 10 minutes to kind of dry then put the water proof cover on. I would switch it out whenever it came off.

Obviously, depending on your work you may even have to wear rubber gloves everyday because nobody wants wart band aid hands. For the wart on my foot I also use pads with the highest strength that I could buy that I was told was prescription strength but the pharmacy wouldn’t fill it since it was over the counter.

I would actually use this and the pads then use a microdermabrasion type tool I have to file everything down and remove the dead skin or cut it off. That’s the part where you can spread your germs everywhere.

I would recommend if you are going to be treating often to wherever gloves and just be extra careful. You also want to make sure this goes exactly where you want it since it will melt the skin off eventually.

Don’t be around children or animals. When I’m treating myself my animals come up to me sometimes, and I don’t want to get this on their fur when I have to hold it and place for about 10 minutes.

This stuff really works. For about four months I’ve been using store brand wart remover for a plantar wart on my foot. They were sold out of the store brand, so I bought this one instead. None of like having warts but what’s worse is not being able to get rid of them or having a hard time keeping them treated and covered. I have tried so many different products from the liquid to pads and nothing seems to work 100%.

I love the idea of these medicated wart strips and I like how it keeps the concentrated medication directly on the target area but they just don’t stay put very long. About halfway through the day I would notice the bandaid becoming loose and eventually coming off.

One overnight application and it definitely removed a small wart. after weeks of getting an allergic reaction. Basically the strip is meant to sit on the wart; however if your wart is smaller than the medicated part of the strip, keep in mind that it would also drench the surrounding skin.

If you have sensitive skin like me, you would find the area to look scarily white (like you have leprosy) after the removing the strip. It may also be elevated than the rest of your skin. Mine subsided and changed back to my normal color, but I saw that the area started to develop bubbles and after looking it up on the internet, I found it might be allergy, and antihistamine or steroid was recommended.

I used Benadryl for about 4 nights and sure enough I saw the allergy subside until it became a scab. After one night’s shower, I saw the scab/skin peeled together with the wart. This product can work with help. Warts tend to occur on foot parts that contact the ground. These pads have foam support so are prone to move, aside from any adhesive failure. This means get some high quality adhesive tape that can live with water/perspiration and tape over the pad.

Several strips will be need to secure it well. I’ve tried one strip, worked one time with a waterproof tape, then didn’t with a surgical tape. Currently, about 4 strips fasten it down, has lived through 1 shower and not moved.

Product is OK but not as purchased. Adapt.

One of the warts was very large and she had it for a few years and once we started using these where there was no pain and she wore them pretty consistantly, that wart went away but it did take a bit longer (maybe a couple months).

The smaller warts didn’t take long to go away at all. It was amazing to see her hands wart free for the first time in years! I highly recommend.

Was hesitant at first but I went for it. Got rid of 3 flat moles on my face that i hated. did this Feb 2020. Yes like any cut or flesh wound you will have a scar but the positive news is it fades within time.

I also used mederma to help with scar healing for about 3 months. I want to say after the first year the scars are no longer visible. Most importantly do NOT pick at scabs. I used little face bandaids to prevent me from scraping the scabs off.

I will say I accidentally scraped one of the scabs and the scar still slightly remained compared to the others I removed. Luckily it faded to a white scar so it slightly blends with my skintone. In conclusion, I highly recommend this product!! 10/10!.

I was very skeptical at first since Ive tried other creams, oils, etc in the past, but with all the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. The price is a little high for the tiny (and I mean tiny) amount you get, but it was well worth it! I had a mole on my stomach for as long as I can remember, and I absolutely hated it.

Felt like people would stare at it, and it made me so self conscious that I never took my shirt off in front of anyone for years. This stuff removed it completely! I followed the directions exactly, was patient, and it payed off.

Its gone. I recommend using vitamin e oil as the directions suggest to help heal it, and to minimize any chance of scarring. Highly recommend this stuff! It does burn slightly when you first put it on, but not that bad.

And it also scabs up noticeably, so if youre gonna use this on a visible area, just be prepared for that. Also dont let the tiny amount you get discourage you from getting it. This is a prime example of a little bit goes a long way.

I had a mole on my chest and hated it for ages! When I came across this product I wasnt sure about it. After reading the positive reviews and seeing good before and after pictures, I bit the bullet and brought this product.

It came early so I applied it when it came. Following the instructions very carefully. I had to apply it twice as my mole was risen( or should I say still is) after the 20 minutes I washed off as said on the instructions it was kind of black and dark brown so I left it.

Excited to see that it had changed colour I thought it would work. After 2 and a half weeks I was in the shower look down to see not a mole but a raised half a mole half a scar its so disgusting and I have a dance show coming up and Im not extremely worried and self conscious more then before I really regret using this product.

I think it makes it worse that I have anxiety but now I dont know how Im going to sort it out! After crying for hours I still regret it and am really angry with my self for wasting 70 pound on this thats now not only ruined my body but ruined my self confidence!!!!.

I had a troublesome wart on my left Index Finger. I Had used the Freeze Off stuff 3 seperate times to no avail. I saw this in Walmart and decided to give it a try. Best decision ive nade lately. Within one week of using it twice a day the wart was gone! Thank Goodness! Also, it is a No-Mess gel.

I’ll be using it in the future if needed, for sure! Better than the Freeze Type, and much less expensive.

I had a wart on my finger and after the bandages I purchased from this company weren’t finishing the job I decided to give this a try. After the 3rd day my finger was throbbing in agony. It had been stinging pretty bad from the day I had first applied it but I assumed it was part of the process.

I finally couldn’t take it anymore so I went to take the bandage off, which I was using to cover on top of the ointment, and my finger was purple and swollen in that area. It was extremely painful to touch but I need up figuring out that somehow this is caused a blister on my finger.

I slightly press down on it and a bunch of liquid mixed with blood came out of it. It turns out that this product had given me a huge chemical burn, my finger was basically an open wound almost down to my bone.

It was extremely frightening. It finally healed after a month or two and luckily the wart has not came back yet. The fact that this product did this to my finger after using it for only 3 days is ridiculous.

Be very careful using this product!.
