20 Best Highlighting And Contouring Kit (2023 Updated)

This palette is great but I’m right in between the 2 “highlight”/shimmer shades, one is too cool and ashy for my cheeks and the other too dark so I use them both for eyeshadow. I’ve taken this palette all over the world with me and am on my 2nd one.

It’s also great for a 5min face(including eyes) before work, can just use this and four brushes if I skip cheek highlighter. If you’re getting fallout try using a softer brush! I wish Sephora carried the Medium/Dark version of this palette (I don’t know why in the world they would only stock the Light/Medium one!) for all of those who wrote reviews saying this is too ashy/chalky, it’s probably because you don’t have the correct shade.

NO palette is universal. I took one star off my review because I think it’s ridiculous that they only have this 1 available. This palette would be perfect if they were magnetic pans and Smashbox sold refills of various shades so that we could customize our experience! WHY is this not a thing yet?! KVD was almost there with the Shade and Light palette but didn’t have more color options.

Tarte had the Clay Play palette that had magnetic pans too but again, didn’t offer refills or have different color refill options. TARTE, are you listening? Offer different color option refills for your Clay Play palette and it will go viral! ! !.

Love this palette!! My skin is medium-tan in the summer and light-medium in the winter, and the colours, shades & pigmentation work great for all times of year! It also has fantastic mirror that I use for applying all my other makeup.

Great for travel or home. It has everything I need in one palette, contour, bronzer, blush, matte highlight, and two tones of a high-shine highlight. Contour is perfect shade, not too warm and not too grey.

The lightest highlight has the perfect sheen, where it gives me a glow but I don’t have sparkles or glitter on my face. A little goes a long way, so you barely need to tap your brush into any of the colours.

Also very long lasting. At the end of the day. I’m early 40’s and it’s hard to find products that don’t make my skin look worse lol,. this palette definitely enhances my mature skin. I’m so grateful for this, definitely a holy grail for me.

It’s so hard to find contour & bronzer shades that don’t turn orange on my fair skin but this pallet was exactly what I’ve been looking for! The contour shade is cool enough to look natural & the bronzer is just a hint of tan glow.

The matte & shimmer highlight are just the right amount of glowy. The blush is a little too warm for winter so I do swap that out with a brighter pink for now but it will be perfect for summer! It’s super rare for me to find a pallet I use every pan in but I do with this one.

There is some fallout but the pigment is great so just be sure to tap off your brushes before applying & you wont notice. It really melts into the skin for seamless coverage & stays put all day. It also comes with a guide of where to apply each shade on the face which was super helpful to get it just right.

Can’t recommend enough!.

I ordered this during a 21 Days of Beauty sale. I’d considered it so many times but it was never something I felt I needed. I prefer, and mostly use, cream contour palettes. I still use my cream contours but now I “set” the cream contours with this palette.

I’ve had my fair share of other powder contour palettes throughout the years but have given them away because I just love cream products and would rather not have expired makeup when someone else could use them.

I’ve always enjoyed Lorac shadow palettes, mainly yearrrrs ago but still have my favorite Pro 3. These powders are VERY nice, too. Quite powdery, especially the two setting/highlight shades. But that doesn’t bother me personally.

I use the medium contour shade over my cream contour, then set certain areas with the yellow shade. I really like this palette. And I always have used bronzer, but this holds my contour so much longer, literally all day till I take my makeup off.

I haven’t used it by itself, but I imagine it’s probably great as a lone contour. As for the brush, it’s not the best brush for powder contour because it is quite stiff and could possibly move your foundation or cream products.

It’s likely personal preference, too, as I prefer longer brush hairs for this. But it does okay for me the couple times i tried it. It does the best on the forehead and jawline. But not on the cheeks.

Too stiff, short and tightly packed. Overall, I do like this palette and I now think it’s worth getting anytime but getting it during the sale is so much sweeter!.

This is a really beautiful versatile contouring palette! It’s warm tones and I primarily use it as eyeshadow honestly. Yes, eyeshadow!! I guess you can call it contouring your eyes. It looks so natural and if you use your contour color (or bronzer) as your eyeshadow as well it harmonizes your whole face, give it a try if you have never done it! The yellow in this makes a really bright under eye, maybe for photo shoots or events.

Wouldn’t do that daily basis. But the light colors look beautifully on your inner corners of your eye. It’s a powder texture but easy blendable with buildable coverage. All colors are matte warm neutrals except for the shimmer highlight.

I personally don’t like the brush if comes with. Rephrase I actually love the brush it not for contouring! It is too stiff and makes harsh lines and doesn’t blend too well! I would suggest a angled contour brush or even a fluffy powder/bronzer brush.

That’s personal preference I guess. It’s just really difficult to apply with the provided brush in my opinion.

I did makeup on brides for years and used this back in the day but eventually switched to KVD’s palette. I bought this during the 21 days of beauty sale and OH MY GOD this is the best contouring palette ever! I have no idea why I stopped using it!! The brush truly is the best tool for it, too.

Coming from someone with every brush under the sun, lol I love this one, even for nose contour! A little product goes a long way and it’s extremely blendable. I will say that I wished the highlight shade (3rd, biggest pan top right shade) was smaller and one of the matte light shades was bigger.

Not big on that shade whatsoever as I’m not big into the glitter part, but besides that. this palette is beyond worth it!!.

Loved this product. I used it for my freshers party and small get togethers. It is a very Smooth powder. 1. Contour. 2. Blush. 3. Highlighter. great application. It blends really well. This combination pallette is great for a quick makeup.

College students can opt for it for parties. Also if u want a quick makeup opt for this. Easy to carry a 3- in – 1 small pallette. Highlighter gives a great shining effect. Blush is really good as it suits all skin types.

It also acts as a highlighter.

i love the concept of all three facial powders being in one set, it’s so frustrating to try and get contour and blush and highlight separately, and making sure they all match. i could probably start using a new blush and contour palette, but i haven’t really found the need to.

i just love this one so much. it’s buildable, and i use it as eyeshadow sometimes when i want a really natural look. the highlight is shiny enough, but i still prefer mine shinier. on my pale skin the contour serves as blush so i rarely use the blush, but when i do i use a very small amount.

Since trying this contour kit, I have never used a different blush or bronzer. I do not use the highlighter so I can’t rate that part but the blush and bronzer go perfectly over my loose powder foundation and the bronzer is matte and the blush has a nice subtle sparkle to it.

My only complaint is the bronzer does sometimes make me break out a little bit, especially when I use it a few times back to back or if I’m hot/sweat with it on. I only use 1 small line of the bronzer on each cheek to outline my cheek bone so it’s not enough to deter me to stop using it because it looks so good.

Probably my best favorite starter sets and my travel pack. I like my makeup more on the natural side and don’t contour very heavily. I found myself using 4 of the 6. The ranges are wide and can be manipulated easily to do what you want.

My favorite feature is how soft both of the highlights are. Adds a little touch up and brightens up my face to give me a glow with a natural look. Though, if you add too much of the product, it can come off a little cakey or packed on the face.

Easily fixed with face spray and sponge!.

This Contour palette was the first one I ever bought. Before this I was just buying color separately. I was pleasantly surprised almost every color in here except the dark brown look really nice on my skin tone.

I am really pale so I just have to be careful how much I put on. Also having the right brushes makes a big difference. You have a brush to picking up a lot of product that you go to use it you’re going to be looking like a clown.

This is definitely a good one for a beginner though cuz these colors are lighter.

Im absolutely in love with this product. It comes with great contour shades, with the one in the middle being the one I use the most. This works great if you have as pale as skin as I do! But if you are really pale, you probably wont find yourself using the three highlights provided.

The only downside was when I received the product one of the pans were broken, but that’s probably just the delivery person’s fault. This product is definitely high on my list of products to recommend.

I’m only reviewing the Light-Medium one, but I gotta say it’s way too dark for this suggested range. I’m a medium tan skin tone and I honestly think the highlight and two bronzers were pretty deeply pigmented even for me.

It also kicks up a lot of powder (reminds me of ABH eyeshadows if you ever used them). I need to use fluffier brushes and blend onto the back of my hand first to diffuse the product before I use on the face.

I think maybe it would be better advertised as medium-tan range. I also found the bronzers too similar and warm/orangey to use as contour. Better for me as a coppery bronze blush. The highlight is actually kind of a cool-neutral champagne gold (I was expecting a yellowy gold), especially in comparison to how orange the contour and sculpt powders are; a little glittery but not too bad.

It’d be way too dark for light skin though. The price is very inexpensive and I can definitely use this palette as eyeshadow and blusher/bronzer but it definitely is not good for actual contouring or for light-medium skin tones.

I hope the other palettes are good, it would be nice for BR to revamp and expand the palette shade ranges and contour powders to be cooler toned. It is a generally great inexpensive makeup brand with quality products.

Very good face palette for beginners. It has everything you need to complete your face and it’s easy to use. The powders blend nicely but they are packed a bit tightly, so they don’t pick up a ton of product at a time.

Again, for a beginner, I don’t think that’s a bad thing. It’ll take more layering, but you can control the product. The highlight powder was very soft, so it won’t give you that beaming glow, more of a natural touch.

It’s also very affordable, so what else is there to say lol. I’d recommend ❤️.

Okay, ladies and gentlemen! I have been doing my makeup for years. Since I was 14 years old. And I always have gotten lots of compliments on my makeup and how I did it. I never did too much, because I just never liked that Look, honestly! But after 2020, last year, I’ve been looking at More YouTubers showing how to contour.

So, I got the confidence to try it out, but do it in a way that made a subtle difference. OMG 😱 I’m just Shook!!! ♥️♥️♥️ I Love this addition to my routine. It made me look and actually excited to see myself in a new way! You might laugh, but sometimes you just stick with what you know, and take small chances.

But I knew I was going to try this pallette with Black Radiance because it’s a black owned business. And being a beautiful black woman myself, lol. I Love, and Live for this palette. Gorgeous Look. Soft and smooth feel and the glide is off the charts.

I’m a fairly pale skin tone and I find that the top two bronzer/contour shades work perfectly for my skin however I find that I can also use the darker shades for brown eyeshadow/liner. The colors blend really well and aren’t too pigmented which allows you to build up their color.

The top two highlights also work really well for me. They aren’t chunky highlights but you can build them up to be blinding or keep them light for a natural glow. The only thing was that I wasn’t sure if the top right highlighter would be too yellow for me, but it was a good natural glow.

Also the bottom highlighters would be great for more tanned skin or even eyeshadow! They do lean more towards a foiled look if you add a lot. Overall I love how I can use this palette for many different things.

Also love that it comes with a big mirror.

OK, so this pallete will last me a while, but the shades are so perfect for my (true) medium skin, i kinda wish i got 2!! My undertone is a golden peach which technically make me warm, but warm contours look red like clay on my skin.

Cool contours look grey or like dirt. With the exception of the 2 highlighters on the top right, this pallete is great for medium, neutral undertone gals. The contours are a little powdery but i think texture is what makes it easy to blend (even if u suck at blending and always seem to always have harsh lines!!) and also great for dry skin.

I’m not a blush person at all, but would’ve been nice to include at least one to truly have all in 1 pallete. And the bronzers?!?!!? to die for!!! Just the right amount of gold/ champaign color to make u come to life! great finish for dry skin.

One of the rare palettes I’m in constant use of excluding the bottom left hand shade as it’s too red for me. This is an exceptional display of useful contours and highlights by for every base look. I appreciate the tray sizes and shape.

Big girl brush friendly! The formula is about as moisture rich as you can get without going into a cream base. Highly recommend and apparently I’m not the only one who thinks so because they’re always OFS.

The mirror in the case is overkill. Not sure who puts on cosmetics with a 4×8”. Give us more product and less packaging please.

This product is okay if your new to makeup and wanting to practice with highlighter and a bit of contour. As for the highlighters-they’re great if you are wanting a natural slowly look. They don’t leave a lot of glitter which is nice.

I do find that I need to apply a bit of product in order for it to really give a nice highlight on my face. I find the two different highlight shades good for the entire year-as I use gleam or burst based on how tan I am.

As for the contour, I find I can only use it in the summer because it looks quite orange on my face. I do like how buildable the contour is. I don’t find this product to be worth the close to $30 that it is.

As everyone already knows, I’m a mini freak. This pallet is excellent! Here’s why: natural mineral ingredients -a healthy natural ingredient pallet, the powders are creamy non-drying -Blends like butter on the skin, the size is great for travel -I keep in its original outer box so it doesn’t fly open or get damaged while in my purse or makeup bag since it’s in a pretty paper cardboard packaging that doesn’t have a closure.

The contour bronzer is a great shade that isn’t to orange and it’s non-shimmer for a great contour powder. This colour will work well with warm under tones or fair-medium skin colour. A fair girl should use a light hand when applying and can use a lighter powder on top to adjust the shade.

The golden highlighter in the middle works for all areas of the face you want high lighted, and my favourite, the major glam glow that’s a more silver oyster shell tone requires a very light hand in strategic areas, it’s AMAZING.

It’s what makes this whole pallet and I’ve never come across a highlight quite like this one anywhere else. Some of the other reviewers are very put off by it, but I think they aren’t using it right as its intense.

It has a strobing effect for nights out. It’s not a daytime highlighter like the middle golden tone one. This one you wear at night on your brow bone, nose tip, Cupid’s bow above your top lip, a dab on your chin and the highest point on your outer check bones going up the sides of your eyes.

You can even dab some in the middle of your matte colour lips for an effect. Smells great just like the Two-Faced shadows (they are using the same chemist ingredient) like vanilla-chocolate. I like that better than floral.

It’s yummy. I don’t get powder kick up (I use soft good brushes) but the creamy powder does get bumps in the pan but not on you. You get a good amount of product for the price and I love the package design.

I feel it’s a great deal for what you get, 3 workable gorgeous shades and clean ingredient makeup. It’s a score!.

I’ve loved Tarte for a long time and used to buy it a lot. It’s pretty sensitive skin friendly but if you’re acne prone just make sure you get all of it off with a gentle makeup remover to be safe. I have acne prone skin and am find with this product.

HOWEVER this is not a normal Tarte size product and doesn’t include it in the title like it does with other Tarte products. This is very small and is great if you need to take it places to freshen up in a bathroom or so.

Obviously COVID19 made it iffy to wear makeup but if you’re working it gives a nice glow and an easier sharp contoured look. I’m going to use this on Valentines night and if I wore makeup daily i’d be doing that with this product.

I would recommend it to a friend.

I bought this in the shade “Med/Dark – Dark” mainly for contour. The colours are nice and cool on my South Asian toned skin (Mac nc35 or ABH 355N). I mainly use the bottom left and middle colours for contour.

The top right shade is a decent bright colour which can be used as a powder blush, I tend to use cream/liquid blush and tap this on top for extra oomph. I’m not a fan of powder cosmetics due to dry skin, however this feels fine and looks fine on my skin.

A tad expensive if you buy this full price. I tend to prefer using the cheaper BPerfect Cosmetics Bronze and Define shape stick, creamy contour, with more precise application.

Prior to the release of this palette, I made one almost identical to it by buying the empty six palette for blushes and filled it with the Pro products available online in the shape and shade category.

I got he Sculpt, Bone Beige, Accentuate, two blushes: Prism and Sincere, and one highlighter that was much lighter than the one in the upper left of this palette. I use it everyday for cheeks and sometimes eyes.

I like that his palette has one extra contour in a darker shade for more dramatic contouring of cheeks or eyes, but the highlighters are a bit darker than those with very fair skin need. That’s why I love my custom made one.

I can also reuse the palette and change out the colors (not easily) by season if needed. My only complaint is the weight of the thing. Not good for travel. But that comment is for the custom made one, the pre-made one may be lighter because it is not refillable.

I hope these products are still available individually. Sculpt and taupe have also been available in LE collections, so I have a few of each, and use those for travel, so I always have a great contour powder with me.

There are many contouring palettes available now, but MAC was the first to make such quality products available to the public, and I will continue to use them as long as available. I will also get this palette to have the wider range of contour colors, I can always use the darker highlighters on my eyes because they are not shimmery, another bonus when comparing to palettes available from other lines.

I feel like I’ve been saying this in a lot of my recent reviews but this is another one of my favorite MUST-have makeup products. I use it just about every time I put on makeup and I couldn’t imagine contouring without it.

Truthfully, I was never the biggest powder fan up until recently. I use liquid foundation and concealers but everything else I use in powder form. I used to use liquid to contour as well, until I tried ABH’s Powder Contour Kit.

I love the range of colors and the powder is finely milled so while it feels and looks super light going on, it provides great coverage and blends effortlessly. It works (and looks) great on top of my other products as well.

I also really appreciate the shimmer pan for a really glowy highlighter. Definitely have to recommend this to anyone that loves to contour!.

I bought these from Nordstrom thinking they were eye shadows. I absolutely love them. They go on in the morning and stay till I decide to remove my makeup. I am 64 years old and my routine consists of moisturizer, setting spray, primer, setting spray.

I let each layer dry/absorb before moving on. I use a primer on my eye before applying shadow, then I apply my foundation, followed by Anastasia bronzer and a little color. I finish with setting spray and I’m good to go from 7 AM until.

I’m not sure. 11 PM was the latest. No need to touch up unless you want to smoke it out for evening wear. I wish Anastasia would come out with a matte eye kit to take older women from daytime to evening.

Maybe with one glimmer color to really pop the eyes pop. Anyhow, I absolutely love this kit and will continue to wear it as my daytime shadows.

I couldn’t find the proper tag. I’m actually reviewing the KAB Cosmetics Contour Palette. When I came across this Contour Palette, I was actually looking for one because the one I have been using has shades that are way to dark for! You see I have fair skin and it’s hard to find contour shades that will compliment someone with fair complexion.

KAB Cosmetics came with it when they made their Contour Palettes, as they created a Palette for Fair-Medium and Medium-Deep Complexions. I appreciate how they thought of everyone. Also, I can’t get over the size of these pans, they are not your normal size pans that other Palette’s contain.

When I tell you these pans are huge, I mean their humongous and filled with so much product!! I’m not complaining at all!! Other Brands should take notice and offer way more product instead of being stingy.

This Contour Palette will last a long time. The only reason that I’m giving the Palette 4 stars is because the Brand could’ve done a lot better on their packaging to make it more appealing and have better quality.

I was kinda crushed about this product because I desperately wanted to love it, because I love everything else that I have from Anastasia, but this one single product didn’t make the cut for me. Let me just say, that the quality is most definitely there, the product smells clean, and glides onto the skin like magic! The contour creams not only apply easily, but they blend harmoniously! I seriously looked, and felt like a million bucks the entire time I wore this for a good solid month.

Only downside was a huge one for me; it gave me horrible acne, completely clogged my pores, and I got acne in areas that I’ve never had pimples at in my whole life. I was honestly so sad! I hope it was just my skin having a crazy allergy to it, and you beauties have much better luck than I did.

I gave it 2 stars because it applies so perfectly and it looked so dang pretty, but had to subtract 3-stars for all of the acne, and the months it took to make my skin recover from the product.

This is the best cream contour kit on the market! It’s what I used to learn how to contour with and how I fell in love with contouring! The application is a bit tricky and I was confused at first, but using a smaller blending brush to apply then beauty blender or larger blending brush to blend is best! It’s super creamy and easy to blend as well.

The picture is a few years old (obviously unblended) when I was just starting out so don’t judge my contouring technique lol. If you’re just starting out contouring or just want the multiple colors in one pallet, I highly recommend getting this one!.

While this isn’t a “bad” product necessarily, it’s just not something that the majority of consumers need in their collection. If you are not a makeup artist, chances are that more than half the shades in your chosen palette will not be useable for you.

As for the product and formula itself, at the time of initial release this may have been somewhat groundbreaking and filling in a niche, but these days there are much better and more user friendly products available for cream contouring and highlighting.

The creams are fairly dry and can be difficult to work with. The packaging is not conducive to keeping the creams fresh and blendable at all, and that can translate into a patchy and potentially cakey application.

Overall, this palette had its moment, but that moment is long past. Skip this, and try out other single shade cream contour, bronzer and highlighting products if you are so inclined.

This is a nice set. I use all three colors, but the brown less than the other two. I purchased it in cool this time, and previously in warm. It was hard to decide which color to choose; they look so similar online and even in person.

However they look quite different on. The cool is a (buildable) vibrant pink and I like it much better on me. I have light/medium skin tone, blue eyes, dark blonde hair; I wear the loose powder foundation in Satin.

The browns in both compacts are a little orangey on me, but the cool brown is better. I find that if I use it VERY sparingly, it works, though on a daily basis, I stick with just the blush and highlight colors, and it’s enough for me.

I like the highlight (or “illuminating” – it’s not shimmery at all) to set my under eye concealer; I find that it is more lightweight than my loose foundation and perfect for this purpose.

I received this contour kit for free because I spent a certain amount of money on other products. It’s okay. It does what it says it does and the powders apply and blend well. They are matte and do not leave a “glowy” sheen.

I like that they have an instruction sheet on how to use them. I personally think it is a bit overpriced for what it is. If you are an avid/exclusive Jane Iredale user, then you will like it. However if you use a products from several brands I think you can find something else that performs the same for a lower price.

I am a big fan of all products Jane Iredale, so I always like to try out new stuff. I bought this great shape contour kit a few months ago, in the cool tone and loved it at first. However, I do not know why, but the brown color does not work anymore.

When I brush against the brown tone, no product comes of. It has become like, hard or cakey. The other colours work well and product does transfer on the brush as it should. So, I don’t get what happened with the brown tone.

I use the same brush for all colours, so it is not the brush that is the problem. Anybody else have this problem?.

This palette does more than highlight and contour. Sure, it’s great for that also, but you can also do a sun-kissed, bronze, monochromatic look as well. I’ve seen makeup artists do this and really wanted a palette that my sensitive eyes can handle.

This is the best contour/bronzer pallette ever. ! I don’t understand why some complain about it saying that the powders look blotchy/muddy and leaves stripes as well. I use every pan of the pallette almost daily and I only get flawless results at the end.

Formula of the powders is blendable, long lasting and easy to work with; pigmentation is extraordinary and buildable. Highly recommend. !.

Am by no means a makeup aficionado but this particular Sigma Contour Palette makes me appear so! Blend-able, soft color hue and texture smooths over skin without irritation. Have searched high and low for a product that fits this description as applied to my skin, and hallelujah this is the one!.

I purchased this primarily for the contour/light tan color since I was having trouble finding a matte cool toned powder. I love the two tan shades and use the lighter tan color for contour (cheek hollows, jaw and as an eye shadow) and use the warmer tan for bronzer.

The bronze shade is actually almost the exact same shade as Too Faced matte in medium. I rarely use the lightest color which is meant to brighten (the color is a matte beige). There is a mirror on one side of the compact too.

The only negative is that the colors are not highly pigmented but I don’t mind that since I’m fair. I think it’s great that a little brush comes with it and works well for highlighting but is too small for bronzer for me.

To be honest, I didn’t think I was going to like this as much as I do but I’ve found myself reaching for this everyday and it’s perfect for traveling.

I like the size of this palette, it’s compact enough that it doesn’t take up too much space but the size of pans are big enough to use with most brushes. This kit comes with an angled brush that works for highlighting or contouring but I wouldn’t use it for bronzing as I prefer a large fluffy brush for this purpose.

The palette comes in two shade options: light/medium (I purchased this one) and medium/dark. The contour shade has a cool undertone that is preferable for carving out cheekbones or sculpting along the sides of the nose and this is the standout choice of the 3 products in this palette.

The bronzer has a bit warmer undertone (as expected) and has more of a golden hue which I like. A lot of other bronzers I’ve seen can lean orange but this one leaves a soft sun-kissed vibe on the skin.

The highlight in this palette is subtle, very soft, not metallic or glittery in the least. All 3 blend easily and look very natural on my skin and can be used on the eyes as well. Contouring hooded eyes can be a challenge but this palette makes an easier job of it.

A great little palette and brush set worth picking up.

This is my HG perfect contour kit. First of all, it’s matte which is important to me as I don’t like too much shine on my face; second, all of the powder pans in it are useful so you’re not wasting your money.

There’s a cool-toned contour, a bronzer that’s neutral, and a light yellow powder that is the bomb for brightening under the eyes. I love that there’s a diagram sticker on the mirror that shows you where to place everything – the diagram is more for oval faces, and there’s an insert in the box for other face shapes.

It’s virtually foolproof, if you’re just starting or you’re not confident about your contour game get this kit! You’ll be happy. It’s available in 2 shades, lighter and darker. The brush that comes with it is ok, I prefer to use my Sephora Pro #74 brush but that’s just me.

Once I’ve done my contour then I can use blusher and the highlight of my choice to finish my look.

I bought the dark range. (Skintone-wise, I am somewhere in the range of Rihanna or Kerry Washington for reference). It was a pleasant surprise in terms of colour; the contour part of this kit had a decent amount of pigment and wasn’t too dark for my skin tone.

However, the highlight does not glide off very easily and once it does, it doesn’t show up much. I had to use another shimmer powder I had to give myself a highlight. The contour can also get muddy and grey-ish really quickly so I would recommend lightly applying and layering as you go along until you are satisfied.

It blended well; at first I used an angled brush and then a cheap blender sponge. I would recommend for the contour element, but not the highlight part. I would definitely recommend if you are a beginner and want to play around with something to learn the techniques, but if you are confident with highlighting and contouring, the contour part is good, the highlight not so much.

I initially discovered this product when watching make up tutorials on Youtube. I noticed it was the most common product used for contouring. I then found that Boots has started to stock Sleek products and straight away bought the blusher I had been eyeing up for a while.

There was a buy on get one half price promotion on Sleek products at the time and so I thought I would give this product a go. On my first use of the product I used the contour with a real techniques contour brush.

I found with this brush that as there are a lot of bristles packed together on the brush creating a stiff effect quite a lot of the product transfers onto the face creating an unnatural appearance which is not the look I was going for.

I then tried the product with a Bobbi Brown angled brush which I usually use for blush. I found that as the brush was more flexible and soft it created a lovely natural shadowing effect which is what I wanted.

For the highlighter I found that using my fingers (which is what I usually do with powder highlighter) applied to much product; leaving a very harsh shiny effect which when catching the light almost made my cheek looked bruised.

I then used the highlighter with a soft, flexible brush and again, found that this created a much more natural looking finish. I still, however, found that the finish it gave my skin was too shimmery and obvious and therefore I have gone back to using a liquid highlighter which I find creates a much more natural glow.

Overall I would say this product is a good investment to make as it is a very reasonable price for what you get. Even without using the highlighter I still believe the price is worth what you get from the contour.

This is a small size contour and highlight pressed powder 2 in one. But the colour intensity for the contour shade is good and quite easily blendable. Because the colour is so pigmented, you only need a little and will go a long way.

It also has a good lasting power. However the highlighter shade is extremely subtle and has to built up slowly for it to be more visible. For those who like a very natural and mild highlight its great.

I would have given it 5 stars if the highlight shade had been stronger. Anyway overall its a good product and is good value for money.

Love it! First kit I ordered was light and too pink for my olive skin tone. I gave it to my niece and it’s her favorite contour kit. I ordered medium and it’s a perfect match. I hope this helps those trying to find the right shade.

I don’t do anything particularly complicated with my makeup- usually just a tinted moisturizer and eyebrow pencil! This pallet and the instructional picture made it so easy to do some really light contouring!.

I have never used a contour kit before, but am a great fan of Glo makeup. I ended up purchasing this item to try and use with my Glo bronzer. So far I have not used it to contour my face, but have used it as a great eye shadow neutral palette.

I love all the colors as eye shadows. Will totally buy again.

I love minimal every day makeup, and I love multitasking with these as if they were a 3 in 1 cream product on cheeks, lips (withchap stick, or without for a matte look) and eyes. I have the following which I use on my fair skin paired with Honey Drip putty bronzer, or just the putty blush alone: Tahiti: mid tone-ish beautiful rosy pink shade.

Beautiful on eyes, lips and cheeks. Perfect year round everyday color and never looks crazy. Turks and Caicos: my least favorite due to being on the light side, don’t prefer it on the lips because of this, but still beautiful and peachy/coraly.

Best for summer or spring. Bali: one of my favorite, can be used as a “blonzer” all over the face due to darker red orangey tone, perfect for fall and even more perfect for summer sun burned look across the nose bridge and cheeks and eyes.

Very pigmented, a little goes a long way. Caribbean: Gorgeous rich berry shade. Gives me that perfect french girl look. VERY pigmented in the best way. This one I love to blot over my lips, building pigment on the inside of my lips and blur it towards the outside, giving a beautiful matte blotted look.

For fair skin, I literally barely tap the brush in once and work it into my skin on my cheeks for a while, it can look bad/clownish if you don’t know how to work it in, but with practice it is one of the most beautiful shades ever.

I put this stuff all over my cheeks and eyes as well. I will definitely always repurchase this one. Beautiful for winter time. Perfection. With all my putty blushes and bronzer, I multitask with the newer elf duo face brush.

I know people say to use the putty brush, but I love the effortlessness of multitasking and having a condensed makeup bag and makeup application process. I literally use this brush for everything, my foundation/concealer, then bronzer then blush then powder.

Just clean at the end with paper towel and BAM. Full face with one brush. You won’t regret buying the elf duo face brush as well!.

I bought my first putty blush maybe six months to a year ago in the shade Caribbean. It is so pigmented and literally just finishes so satiny and soft. It’s very blendable although if you are using your fingers as I do, it is likely not to have as great a finish as a brush would due to the difference in surface area that your finger can cover before it sets.

However, the more moisturized your skin is, the easier it blends and because of the vitamin E, it definitely is not drying! I have very sensitive skin and this has not been a problem product at all. In fact, I even feel that because this product is so lightweight and smooth, I could wear this like it was skincare and not know the difference.

This is really perfect for beginners to makeup who just want something reliable, versatile, and buildable- but that’s not to say that a makeup pro wouldn’t find it just as likable. If you are buying makeup for a teen starting out or as a gift for someone else, this is a perfect buy.

It does rub off a bit with a mask but that’s to be expected of really any product.

like this pallet expect for the highlight shade has glitters that are a litttle too chunky for me! I was worried the colour was too light for me at first but let me tell you it’s a perfect pallette (thought they need to sell darker shades!) the top left is a sparkly highlight, the top right is a matte powder highlight (for tear grooves and highlighting inner face or forehead) and the bottom two are contour! I love this pallette and how you can control how dark you want the shadow by mixing.

perfect beginner contour palette that will last you at least a year or two of constant use!! it’s good for practice and more professional techniques because of the matte highlight shade. the pigment itself is freaking perfect and amazing for contour.

use a little at a time and build up perfectly. the pigment shows up but it is stuble and easy to blend so you can’t be scared! every contour powder should work like this and be as stuble with easy blend to make a natural shadow and now a giant streak with the high pigment! I really can’t go on about how much I love this pallette!!.

I bought this kit when I was first trying to figure out contour. The coverage is medium. Its very easy to blend and very easy to build. The textures are creamy. But not over dewy. I havw oily prone skin with big pores and it lasted 6 plus hours without any oil blotting sheets.

My face did not look dry or cakey. I did not have dark or harsh lines. Everything blends and blurs. I love this product.

I love this trio! The blush is definitely my favourite , followed by the highlighter and lastly the bronzer. I bought this trio mainly for the bronzer shade but unfortunately it’s a little too orange for my pale skin tone.

It’s okay but wouldn’t go for it if I didn’t have to. The blusher on the other hand is amazing! It is quite subtle but definitely buildable, I think it would be best suited for pale skin tones. The highlighter is amazing aswell, not too blinding but not too dull either.

The blush looks nowhere like a blush (but it does look reeally amazing as a highlihter on my complexion),the highlighter is good but too light for my taste. The bronzer is almost like my complexion so it doesnt really bronze.

Its not warm enough anyway to bronze so it kinda just ad shade fortunately since my skin still slithly lighter as approaching winter. I feel like in summer i could just use the bronzer as a compact powder.

I would still use it daily but no for the original purpose tho.

Okay this is so disappointing. Please do not have high hopes for this. The contour is okay, not good payoff but still. The blush. oh god, its just glitter. Its horrible, absolutely no payoff and its glitter :ew: the highlighter is dreadful, does nothing.

no colour, no shine, just looks like chalk. please DO NOT BUY.

Best contour kit I’ve ever used hands down. The colors are so unbelievably gorgeous and buildable. With this kit you do not have to worry about color matches or the dreaded orange face. It contour’s so easily even if your a beginner! I’m obsessed and will absolutely be buying again.

The end result was perfection. I never knew my makeup could look this beautiful and be able to look like a professional did my makeup. Worth every penny!!.

I decided to buy this as I saw a YouTube blogger use this as her contour kit in a makeup tutorial and her results we’re stunning. I instantly went and bought the same kit and can’t fault it! I don’t regret this purchase.

A must have for any makeup geek. It’s pigmentation is enough to create a contour either heavily for a dramatic look or softly for a more subtle look. The shades can be used alone or mixed together where appt as its a powder based contour.

You could also apply this above your cream contour for a more defined look as this doesn’t shine or melt away like cream. I would also recommend the blush and bronzer pallet too to compliment the contour and finish the look off.

If you set the makeup with makeup setting spray – the results last all day. And NB: this isn’t one of those contours that give that muddy look neither. The service was wonderful as I received my order with tracking before the expected delivery time.

Not the best cream contour kit out there and fell short in my opinion. I didn’t have a problem with the colors matching my skin tone when I bought it but it is not creamy enough making it a bit difficult to pick up the product with your brush and takes forever to blend out to the desired look you are trying to achieve.

Ultimately because it is not creamy enough I felt like it settled into my fine lines in my under eye area too much making them look worse and more prominent. For those reasons I do not feel it is worth the overall pricetag and would not recommend this product especially for those of you who have drier skin or under eyes.

This Anastasia Beverly hills contour kit is an iconic item to have in your makeup collection. ABH was one of the first brands to create kits with the different shades to contour. First powder, then they released the cream contour kit.

I think this kit is absolutely great. It comes with A TON of cream product for the price. ABH also made not just one universal contour kit like lorac, too Faced, or other brands,they released enough to suit all skin tones which I appreciate! There are enough shades honestly in the cream contour kit to not only contour your face flawlessly with EASE, but you can use the shades instead of having to use concealer or even to replace foundation.

I have as a mua been able to do an entire face using only this cream contour kit, on the lightest of skin tones, and the deeper shades on the darkest of skin tones. It even has great shades to help hide dark under eye circles/brighten the under eye area/color correct.

I think this kit makes contouring easy. As a mua I love THIS kit. Also, it does contour AMAZING and i feel the cream contour can look more naturally sculpted than the powder kits, just because creams really sink into the skin.

If you are super oily, you may not want THIS PALETTE, you might prefer powders over cream. I really love these cream contour kits, they can be very multi purpose, and be very useful to have, I think they do a great job contouring the face.
