20 Best Height For Hanging Pictures (2023 Updated)

Product is as promised, although probably cheaper quality than I’d like. This is my second. My older daughter got one, now I’ve got one for her younger sister. Received the package in the mail. No instructions or paper ruler included.

Not a big deal as I’m fairly handy, but frustrating to play the game of what size bit should I use to drill a hole in the wall. Missing east stuff like this is what tarnishes a good brand.

This Hangit Photo Display is perfect. I am using this in my daughter’s room and she absolutely loves it. It comes with 40 clothespin hangers which makes this easy to change pictures out. The clothespins are a really cute way to display the pictures.

I love that this can be hung either direction. If you hang it vertically then the pictures on the twine are straight up and down. We chose to hang it horizontally which allows the pictures on the twine to swag.

This is the perfect picture hanger and I highly recommend it.

This picture holder is awesome! It’s very sturdy and was bigger than I expected. It was easy to hang as well, and looks great once it’s been hung up. There’s plenty of space for photos or cards, and the ability to easily switch them up whenever you want is a huge bonus.

This is perfect for keeping family photos/holiday cards up to date, or for a dorm room, etc. Would also be a great spot to hang art you’ve created. I would definitely recommend this to pretty much anyone with extra wall space!.

So in love this modern picture frame. This product arrived on time, packaged very well, and very easy to assemble. This product is well built and looks amazing. The versatility of this product is something that I am very excited about as it can be hung two different ways.

I received this 60lb wall hanger for free in exchange for my honest review and opinion. When I first received the hanger, I thought it was very tiny and didn’t quite believe that something so small can uphold 60lb of weight.

But to my surprise, I sure can’t judge a book by its cover! Wasn’t sure how to apply the hanger at first glance because I never seen such a shape, but installation turned out to be easy. But strength is definitely need to push the grips into the drywalls.

Removing is easy as well with minimal damage to the wall. Been hanging my children’s portrait with heavy frames without any problems. Overall great product because I don’t have to hammer nails on the wall which I am horrible at.

Quality is definitely made of durable material as well.

The High & Mighty wall hanger is of really great quality. The hanger really works great for hanging up pictures, mirrors or other objects. This wall hanger could hold up an object up to 60 pounds. The hanger is very easy to install without even using any tools! You just have to place it against the drywall and push the hanger with the sharp points into the drywall.

Very easy and the hanger is sturdy and stays in place. I used it for a heavy mirror and it hangs straight and sturdy. When I want to remove the mirror the hanger is easy to remove and only will leave some small holes in the wall.

I would really recommend this wall hanger when you want to save your walls from being damaged.

I received this product at the perfect time. I had just gotten a beautiful wooden sign to hang on a bare wall in my living room. Usually my husband would deal with the hammer and nails, but I decided to give these 20lb wall hangers a try while he was at work.

I must say, at first I struggled a bit to get these pushed in and angled properly, but once I got the hang of it with the first one, the second one was much easier. I was concerned how these hangers would stay in the wall, but surprisingly they have held up perfectly.

These hangers say they will hold up to 20lbs, and while I haven’t put that to the test, my beautiful sign is a good 10lbs and it’s holding up great! I will totally be purchasing more of these as I am in the process of repainting and redesigning my master bedroom.

I was blown away when I received this item. I am a hard person to impress and this product excited me! First, the picture frames are individually wrapped with the floral artwork prints. Then, there’s another full set of “landmark” prints (or you can put you own photographs in the frames).

It also comes with suggestions on different ways to configure the frame on a wall. And it comes with paper templates, so you can arrange and re-arrange the frames on your wall long before nails/screws are installed! The templates even show your where to insert you nails/screws.

I wish I could add a photo to my review. We hung them in a 4×2 pattern in our dining room and used the extra frame for elsewhere in the house. They are simple, yet elegant. They come with 2 sets of black & white prints which are great placeholders until you find what you want to print – no random families staring at you.

I liked that they included paper templates for you to hang first. This allowed us to try several different configurations before deciding on a winner. I would highly recommend this set for a beginner galley wall.

I love creating collages of pictures on my walls. But it is so tedious measuring and marking the walls a million times to get them to line up properly. and then somehow it’s always off. Well, these frames come with templates that you stick to the wall to line everything up at once, and then it tells you exactly where to put the nail in the wall! This makes it SIMPLE to line up all your pictures at once on the wall.

These frames are very pretty and super easy to install. It took me a second to figure out how to open them up but when I did the rest was a breeze. It comes with all the hardware to hang them including beautiful knobs so they aren’t just hanging on nails.

They look great against a colored wall, in front of a window, or in a space where you can see them from both sides! They are sleek and modern but the brass color gives it a nice mid-century vibe. The quality is sturdy and has held up well to repeat openings since getting the pictures in straight was a bit of a hassle.

I was super disappointed by these picture frames and returned them. The frames were very poorly constructed- they were noticeably skewed and none of the corners formed 90 degree edges. Additionally, the padding (maybe to hold the glass panes in place?) on the inside rims were visible from almost every angle.

Not worth the price at all.

We absolutely love this frame set. The round hangers are so easy to install and the frames hanging on chains give such a unique feel compared to normal picture frames. Considering buying it in black as well!.

Love this picture display. I’ve been on the hunt for something so my daughter could hang up her little Polaroid pictures. This is PERFECT. It was very easy to assemble and has a classy look to it. We really liked that it can be hung both horizontally and vertically.

Made finding the perfect spot for it that much easier. The little clothespin clips that are included are are durable and work great. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cute way to display photos, cards, ect.

Looks great, versatile. I have this as my background when I have Teams meeting received so many compliments. I switched some out pictures with some of the kiddos! Easy to install, hubby finished from start to finish in no time.

The wooden brackets are sturdy and I love that they use little door knobs to connect the strings on. I kind of expected the strings would be cheap like kite string but they used a type of jute. The whole thing is made well and gives lots of room for lots of photos.

I purchased this as a gift for my son who lives in Dallas. The pictures displayed are permanent. They cannot be removed and replaced with personal pictures. The advertising does not state that. Can someone reviewing this review explain why? I have called the store and they state based upon the description that the pictures can be removed.

I’m loving the design of this frame for a couple of reasons. Gallery walls can be tricky especially with spacing and if you are particular. This unit makes this very easy in that sense, no thinking or measuring involved! The frames are very sturdy and easily fit your standard 4×6 and 5×7 photos.

Easy installation as well!.

This product is so great, 5 pictures up on the wall with only 2 holes and you can change the orientation of each frame as well as the position of each line super quickly! I knocked off one star only because the frames don’t sit flush on the wall when hanging and you couldn’t tell that in the photos and not mentioned in the description.

The tops of all the frames tilt forward a little, like they’re top heavy, so it slightly ruins the clean look.

This product comes from an outside seller, and therefore cannot be returned to Wal-Mart. I wanted a floating document frame, for a diploma. The description for this item was the same as the other 11x 14 frames I purchased that were from Wal-Mart.

com. However, when I received the item I realized it is just a frame with no panes of glass like the others. No big deal, I figured I would just return it. I contacted the company and was told I would be refunded the purchase price minus shipping and a 15% restocking fee, and that I could donate the frame to a school or library.

The perfect frame for my art to display for sale. It’s easy to install with the velcro attachments, it’s easy as 123.

We just moved into a house with perfect walls and have piles of things we want to decorate with. Scariest thing to hang a heavy clock. The regulator clock is on the wall, next to the front door, and is solid.

These are very useful and handy hooks. I found they penetrated the dry-wall easily with no need for special tools, and the hole they make is much smaller than the hole made by the nail. They are easily removed with a pair of pliers if you change your mind.

I can’t see a reason to use nails and hammer again. Thank you.

We had to use our own nails in hanging our wall art. The nails that come with in this kit have a long head and are nailed into the part that sticks out. After attaching the hook to the wall, we could not slide the hook into the back of the art piece! It would work fine if your art hangs from a wire that is attached to the back of it.

What a great set for hanging pictures! The nails create tiny holes in the wall, which is ideal for patching when removing the hangers. The variety of sizes is great for different weight pictures.

After painting our kitchen and living room, we needed to re-hang a variety of artwork and calendars. Of course, some of the original hanging hardware “disappeared” and so this multi-pack was perfect to handle everything from small to large.

I was bummed the screws are set 20” apart, not the standard 16 “ apart for studs in US homes. Wood quality itself is great. While the poster/paper isnt heavy, at 90 in long and I dont want to worry about my toddler tugging on it and the whole thing falling down.

This isn’t an issue if you have a smaller poster but for this size, I prefer to hang into studs. My handyman had to go to Home Depot to buy better quality drywall screws- he gasped at how much the hanger cost.

Disappointed I needed extra labor and better quality drywall studs after spending $300. Customer service was helpful in explaining that usually posters are light weight and rarely need to fit into studs.

I appreciate their response. I recommend this product for smaller posters but for huge art like mine, note that the screws won’t align with your studs.

We were trying to glue magnets to sticks to hold up pictures ourselves, but they were terrible. Then we found Well Made. Can’t stop buying more. Work very well. Attractive. Magnets nice and strong. On a Sat.

These are amazing. I love the look of them and the fact that you can reuse them with different length prints. Magnet is very strong I have a print glued onto some thick support (1/4”+) cardboard and it’s a large print and these holds it fine.

Packaged very well and arrived quickly. Relatively easy to install. More complicated than hanging a frame but it looks great. Thank u!.

I ordered two as I had two different pieces of art my friend made. They work perfectly and hold onto the thick watercolor paper nicely! There are four pairs of magnets per rod-4 along the top 4 along the bottom of the paper.

They are very strong magnets and they sort of jump if you’re trying to sandwich the paper slowly, but you can gently slide it into the right placement. With both the products, the white chord that came with it had a couple small black marks but it doesn’t bother me so I haven’t tried removing them, but I doubt it would be difficult.

the light wood color is nice and neutral. I have hung each of them on a small command hook backed with velcro (without using the included screws) and I haven’t had issues with them falling off the wall since I hung them up a month ago.

It’s easy to see the appeal of this picture hanging piece. It’s incredibly easy to use, just pop the bars apart, place your paper or textile in there and pop them together again. The cons: unlike a traditional frame, it does not offer any protection for the framed piece.

Right now it’s alone on a wall, but I have seen it mixed with other types of frames. Especially when hung by the waxy string provided, this frame can be a little visual break in a sea of perfect rectangles.

It was a bit difficult to find a single frame with 4 8×10 openings. This product met that need perfectly, and at a decent price. It has a nice weight to it, and the tasteful contemporary styke is better than I wasn’t expecting.

I was skeptical that the glass could survive shipping, but it arrived well wrapped and in tact. One corner of the frame isn’t quite as tight as it should be so I can’t give it 5 stars.

Overpriced frame with no way to hang on a wall – the wall mounting bracket was literally taped with masking tape to the back of the frame. It’s hard to find a 6×9 frame during lock-down so I settled for this, at least it arrived intact unlike the last one I ordered which arrived with giant gouges on the front of the frame.

If you have no other choice, this will do, but $20 for something that doesn’t even have a mounting bracket is pretty unacceptable.

My packages arrived in a timely manner and looked to be packed well; however, the frame itself was in good condition but the plexiglass looked used. The plexiglass had dents and scratches on it. At first I thought I just needed to peel back the blue shield but that confirmed that the plexiglass was damaged.

I ended up returning it and buying elsewhere.

We bought this to hang a large 60cm wide poster (hence the size & price) but found that the 3 tiny magnets provided (5mm diameter) were completely inadequate to hold the poster, even if the weight of the paper was supported.

It didn’t help that the magnets are set where the poster paper needs to be, so that they are trying to grip with their partner through the paper. We ended up screwing the wooden sections together at each end – it was the only way the poster holder could be used for its purpose.

An expensive mistake – don’t bother.

Recessed magnets, doesn’t hold anything for any length of time, poorly made, means it’s just 4 sticks of wood with a bit of string on. Could use it as kindling I suppose.

The magnets were too weak to hold a normal sized poster. We ended up using screws to hold the pieces together and the poster in place. I do NOT recommend this item.
