20 Best Heel Protectors For Grass (2023 Updated)

I was delighted to see these. The other heel caps on line tend to be way too big for the heels I have. Too many have circular discs on the bottom to prevent sinking into grass and such. As far as I’m concerned, heel cap should not be obvious.

The girl I gave them to went nuts. Wore the fixed shoes to work the next day and showed all the women. I think you will get several sales from this small town. The item fit the heel great. The size chat on box was a niece touch , we new just what size to try.

This is an ok product for me. I am super active and when my heels split it is pretty debilitating to my lifestyle. These support my heel nice when dry but as soon a moisturizer is add they become very slick.

Therapudic but slippery. Because of the minimalist cut of them, I was excited to wear them to bed. Unfortunately they are super grippy in bed and grab the sheets really well. My experience was that they then ball up and are super uncomfortable to wear.

So I have 3 pairs unopened and 1 pair I tried a couple of times and they don’t get worn. I have the gel sock and like it. The cut of this product in a sock format would kick butt!.

I tend to get cracked heels, not being a person who regularly lotions them up and wears socks to bed to avoid that. I guess, but who really knows — not I! I purchased these to hold the band aid with polysporin on the painful deep crack in my heel that was bleeding deep inside.

I wear them to bed, while walking, and during the day when I wear socks. They’re very comfortable and effective! I think they also help with the arthritis in my knees and hip. I gave my very athletic adult son, who was feeling the effects of playing extreme softball while no longer in his twenties — a bruised heel from playing extremely! He wears them all the time now, as he wears socks all, or most of, the day.

I have a severe bone/heel spur on one foot. I am upwards of 300 pounds, and wear a size 9 women’s shoe, with very wide feet. I am in so much pain, I can barely use the foot to walk barefoot. It even hurts in shoes.

I received these and immediately liked the feel of them. They feel very good, and are pretty thick. They are very stretchy, and I was easily able to get them over my foot, no problem. Did not feel tight to me.

I did however, realize that for myself, putting all the pressure on that foot, with just one of these on my heel, was not doing the trick. I could still feel the pain severely when walking barefoot. That might change over time, but initially, it needed more.

Since I received 4 total (2 pairs), and I was only having issues with one foot, I just put 2-3 on the one foot, to see if it gave more cushion. That really helped! I am able to walk around the house with them on barefoot, and much less pain.

The gel is not super firm, so it does kind of spread out when pressure from your foot is applied, but if you don’t mind that, this will give you some immediate relief. I am not always able to wear my shoes, especially chasing after a 4 year old, so these really help out in the house.

I am easily and comfortably able to wear 3 on one foot, no problem. Hope this helps, and I would recommend this as a tool to combat some pain. Maybe not a cure for it, but it definitely does help the pain.

I play basketball a couple times a week for exercise, used to play more. I have flat feet and have struggled with achilles injuries for a while. Ankle braces have helped prevent injuries to my achilles but restrict mobility and add strain on my knees.

I decided to give these heel cups a try, and im really happy with the results. They effectively reduce heel impact and help prevent over-stretching of achilles, thanks to the slight heel raise. I have played several games since buying these, and no longer have achilles pain and don’t have to wear ankle braces anymore.

My heel pain was temporarily relieved for 2 days I wore them in my socks because my pain came with walking without shoes on. The third day the burning pain came back but no where near as bad. I don’t know what is wrong with my foot, however, I can say that getting around is a whole lot less painful.

These heel supports definitely function as promised offering a nice cushion for my heels. However, they don’t stop there, I put a pair in my house slippers, and I noticed that while walking around the house in them, ( without socks) the hard skin on my heels, ( which could usually give a elephant a run for its money) remained soft for days after I had a pedicure.

So I then put a little foot cream in the heel-cups, and it has made a really nice difference. The skin on my heels is staying so soft and smooth. So I am really delighted with them.

Your heel cups were very comfortable from the very beginning. I got some partial relief from my heel pain, enough to do some basic errands that did not involve a lot of walking. I will likely purchase this product again.

Also, I really did appreciate the exercise section of your website. I am doing two of the exercises and they are helping some as well.

I have to say this is one of the few reviews I have written good or bad. With that said, your product is the FIRST product that has relieved my heel pain. I have spent so much money on shoes and inserts I can’t even calculate it.

i have plantar Fasciitis that affects both feet. Before this happened I was walking 3-4 miles a day. That went down to 3-4 blocks. The heel pain was pretty bad. Because of the Tuli’s Heel cup I am on the road to recovery.

I have been wearing the So Soft heel cups since they arrived, and find them to be very effective in controlling heel pain. They also appear to be helping my knee pain, so they are a hit! They are easy to move from one pair of shoes, to another, but a bit of an annoyance to have to do so, so I am going to order more of the cups, in different styles, just for my convenience.

The so soft do fit all the shoes I have had them in, and hopefully the others I order will also.

I bought these in black and clear, both in Classic size. The black ones fit well and didn’t move. The clear ones didn’t fit as well; though they did still protect me from sinking into the grass. Unfortunately, they slipped around a bit and sustained some damage, so I wouldn’t call them reusable.

They did the job for the day of the wedding but I fear because they didn’t fit snugly, that had I worn them all eventing I night have sustained an ankle injury. All classics should fit the same; that they did not is the only thing that disappointed me.

These did not hold up to southern grass!!Before I knew it I was sinking in the grass! Lost both of them. Ruined my heels!!Southern grass is thicker and creeps. It doesn’t just grow straight up. So apparently the covers where pulled off while I was walking.

These worked great at preventing my heels from sinking into grass for my garden wedding. Easy to put on and never slipping, these did just the trick. No more mud/grass covered heels.

I bought these for my wedding shoes and was super excited since most of the event would take place on grass or require walking through grass! I managed to get down the aisle and noticed afterwards that the heel had broken through the bottom of the cover and was sinking into the grass.

I managed to pry them off and just accepted my sinking heels for the rest of the night. Not too worried about it but yeah they could have been a bit stronger! My bridesmaids seemed to have the same problem with theirs too! One of them even fell off while she was walking!.

They definitely dont stay on with the stick backing provided. I now have them stuck on with super glue. One has already come off with that, & I had to reglue. Might want to look for something else out there, unless you have actual shoe heels where you can use the little nails provided.

Works good. It takes a little getting used to because it raises the heel a little. Gave it a 4 because the holes for the nails should be bigger. Time will tell how they hold up.

My gymnast daughter all of a sudden started experiencing pain in one heel and ended up staying completely off the heel for about 2 weeks. Podiatrist’s dx was Severs Disease; he recommended a boot for 2 more weeks.

Meanwhile the mother of another teammmate recommended Tuli’s heel cups. For a week or so my daughter used the heavy duty cups and taped them to her heel – right away there was a big difference and she was able to run, tumble and participate in all events with very little pain.

She was going through a lot of tape every day so we ordered this compression sleeve heel cup – so much easier and a bit more effective. She ended up wearing the sleeve for about a month; the pain didn’t reoccur and she now no longer needs it, however we are glad to have it in case the pain comes back or shows up in the other heel.

Who knows how long she would have been out of commission without this. Great product — A+!.

This fitted sleeve for youth is absolutely perfect. I also purchased the one size fits all for my child’s other foot. In an effort to make it attempt to fit I had to cut the Velcro and it STILL is way too big and doesn’t fit so I cannot even return it.

If your buying for a child stick with the fitted sleeves.

I ordered two for my son (12yoa) who plays baseball. His pediatrician said he suffers from Severs disease and it really flared up when he wears his baseball cleats. He can wear the heel cup with his cleats with no problem! The sleeves are compression so they may take a little effort to get on.

Excellent and invisible arch support. Can be placed in the part of the shoe where my foot needs the extra support. Two-sided tape on the inserts so they stay in place. The gel is soft and very comfy.

I love my flat and low-heeled shoes, but they don’t typically have enough arch support for me. I’ve put them in 3 pairs of shoes so far. I bought my first Gel Activ Everyday Heels inserts on spec and I’m buying more so that I can put them in all my shoes.

On whose feet did you base your ‘Fits sized 5-10’ on??!!! I am an 8. 5 and was in desperate need of clear insoles for a pair of sandals and got these. They were the teeny tiniest things I have ever seen and would only be suitable for a child’s shoes.

They looked too small to even fit a woman’s size 5 never mind an 8, 9 or 10. I am out $8 and very upset!.

This is easy on and off and has given total protection for husbands heel. It has never actually broken open and my husband says it is very comfortable to wear. Easy on and off and stays where placed and floats the heel.

My grandmother currently lives in a skilled nursing facility that informed us she needed them. She only wears them at night as she sepnds her days in a wheelchair. This her second pair in six months.

This pair she has had since October and has been told she needs a new pair already. They are falling apart at the seams after only two months. I’m appalled. I have shred ny disappointment with the facility.

I have neuropathy from a spinal cord injury. My feet and ankles are extremely tender to touch of any kind, even sheets. Though I wore them only at night, I wore out the pads I received years ago after a surgery, so have been looking to replace them.

These are nice, but the strap that goes in the front part of the ankle is stiff and coarse. This area in my ankle is very sensitive. I am going to try to replace the straps with something softer.

These booties have helped my husband. He broke his hip and went to rehab and developed pressure wounds on both heels. His Dr. advised us to get something for his feet. These booties are doing a great job protecting his heels.

I get bedsores on my elbows and I ordered these to wear as prevention and they are working just as I hoped. A very good value too.

I bought this for my seven year old granddaughter who has Sever’s of the left heel (very active kid). She got an orthotic from the Podiatrist to wear in her shoes but it didnt work in sandals. And when she went bare footed at home, she would walk on tip toe on that foot to avoid heel pain.

The sleeve allows her to walk around with no shoes without pain and she can wear sandals again! I wish it fit inside of shoes because it’s more comfortable to her than her orthotic.

My son suffers from sever’s disease and is active in basketball and baseball. His limping was tremendous so bought these as a last resort and so glad we did! It has really helped him and he wears it every day.

I received my first pair of Prevalon Heel Protector III about two years ago whil in the hospital due to a pressure sore on my back. As a paraplegic I have had other brands of what I call space boots but these provided the best protection and seemed to work well.

What I can say is that they have provided protection to my heel and really my whole foot when I use them. Both good and bad is that they are a little bet bulky, good because that’s what provides the protection, bad because makes them a little hard to get on.

My two problems with thes space Boots are 1 the straps that hold them on are Velcro attached and the Velcro sticks to everything and can inhibit putting them on. Secondly and my biggest complaint is the material of the Velcro straps is a light weight stretch material that tears over time preventing you from securing the space boot to your foot.

As far as I know you can’t replace this strapping so when they tear you have to replace the product and at almost $90. 00. Now in all fairness the straps did last over two years and they didn’t tear completely off, just to the point I was concerned that the Velcro fastening would tear off when I attached them and they had marginal functionality at that time.

We have been using the Prevalon boots for many years for our daughter who is paralyzed. They are fantastic for preventing heel sores and slowing the progression of foot drop. The velcro on the pair we had been using for several years finally began to lose its adherence, so I began shopping for a new pair.

What I found was a huge variance in pricing. Stryker was by far the best price! One internet site was wanting over double the price! Highly recommend both the Prevalon boots as well as Stryker Home Care.

Because of my wife’s issues with her foot, ankle, and lower leg, I’ve had six years experience with various prostheses. This one ranks in the middle ground. It does protect her heel somewhat better than anything else we’ve tried, however.

The usage instructions are mostly about unpackaging the boot, with very little about putting it on or any other usage guidance. There’s only one hard-to-decipher picture showing what to do with the other two straps.

Based on my past experience, I’ve winged it. Some info on cleaning would have been good, but there isn’t any. It’s probably worth the $110 but I’m not in love with it.

Very comfortable, like putting your foot in a cloud. However, I thought the Dr. prescribed this for my mom for walking around the house, not for sleeping. Was disappointed to read that in the directions when it came.

She wore it around the house anyway with no problems.

Great, except it would be nice to have left/right boots. The velcro straps work really well; straps going different directions would really help with take-on/take-off of boots. Otherwise, really great boots.

Not as thick as I expected and the foam pad felt quite rough against my skin, they also didn’t do what I expected and my shoes were still too big and slobbed off my feet so I ended up taking the shoes back.

The pads seemed reasonable quality, shape and good stickiness but not effective in my case. They are back in the packet for possible future use not in shoes, my boyfriend is going to use one of them as a non-slip support underneath my wall-hung toilet to cushion the ceramic base so it doesn’t crack.

At least they won’t be a total waste of money!.

The product is too thick, it pushes your toes too close to the tip of your shoe. it makes the shoe feel like it is too small. it needs less thickness to acquire the reason you ‘re wearing it in the first place, which is to keep the shoe from being too lose around the heel.

I used three mole skins layered on top of each other to get the exact thickness i needed, and that worked. Just to give an idea that it does not take much thickness to get the job done.

The heel grips themselves are of reasonable quality. However, more instructions are needed about how and where exactly to place in your shoe. I placed them too low down and once stuck they would not re-stick so I ended up throwing them away.

So happy to have found these and this site. My doctor urged me to use these to help with a pressure sore on my heel. Every site I went to was too expensive for my limited budget. I am very pleased with the comfort of these.
