20 Best Headset For Noisy Office (2023 Updated)

I have only had these for about a day as I write this, and I have never owned noise canceling headphones in my life. I have had quite a few Sony headphones and earbuds in the past, basically all cheaper ones.

These headphones are pretty darn comfortable, but every hour or so I do have to give my ears a quick rest as these headphones have enough tension to gently press my ears against my head which is fine but starts to hurt my ears after some time passes.

The sound quality is rather nice considering Ive been using these mainly over bluetooth, but I’ve also been using Dolby Access (which costs extra) for the spacial and overall better sound. The battery life is outstanding on these so far.

The headphones talk in a female voice when you change sound modes or power, but beep when changing volume. I am quite impressed with how well the noise canceling works, I came into these not really expecting too much but the way I can stand in front of my furnace when its running full blast and not hardly hear anything – I had to take it in for a minute to really appreciate that moment.

These are cool. Theres a sound pass through mode thats supposed to let more outside ambient sound in while you wear them, but that one doesn’t seem to work as well as the noise canceling feature does.

Knowing now what these can do I’m very glad I bought these, and I bet the more expensive ones are even better but Im ok with these for the time being. If theres one thing I could change about these, I would appreciate better overall frequency response options over bluetooth.

These have a very nice overall neutral sound that will make nearly everyone very happy, these have nice bass too, but the sound, well its mid tier for the lack of words coming to mind about it. You’re basically paying for $60 Sony headphones but adding wireless and noise canceling to it, if you can do that math you can guess about what these can sound like.

For the $100 I paid for these on sale, Im very happy with them and this is a good price I think for this set, $80 would have been even better. One thing I would mention is if you plan to game with these, there is a very minimal input lag that I noticed from the muzzle flash of the gun to when you hear the shot firing, this only happens over bluetooth connection, on wired its no lag.

For casual gaming like i do its not even a big deal and you’ll get used to it and adapt quickly. I like these and will treat them with care as I have seen some others with cracks because of assumed rough handling.

Im aware of this somewhat fragile nature as I went to buy these and will give them a benefit of a doubt and we will see as time goes on if the materials stand up to time. So far, I have only had a positive experience and I look forward to enjoying these hopefully for a few good years.

Im very glad I went for these over earbuds because of the 30mm drivers in these, they do handle bass rather nicely.

I need to wear noise cancelling headphones nearly 100 percent of the time when I am at home. As I am currently located right in front of an agri business with flexible work hours the sound of bulldozers pushing dirt around may begin as early as 5 am.

While I had been a heavy user of headphones before here there is no good time to be without so versus gaming or working remotely ( as an early adapter so 13 years later I was able to help those not used to it on work- life balance ) the headphones in use stand a good chance of my falling asleep with them.

As it is a need ( I have synesthesia so unexpected sound is a bit like taking a blender to my brain ) I try to have no fewer than two working good quality and a back up whatever is on sale not to expensive so I am never without.

It took over 18 months for these to develop an unsolvable issue with the headband. The audio is still good but as a tight fit is vital to my needs this was a problem. In that time it outlasted a total of 3 ( 1 and 2 replacements ) of a brand primarily aimed at gamers which has a lot to say about durability and now my extended warranty with another retailer is not being honoured despite those ones having a 2 year manufacturer and add standard extended I am not there yet.

I am probably a bit on the cranky side given the combination of both synesthesia and autism can make headphones invested in very life or death weight that may be fairly unique given auditory to visual field synesthesia is low incidence and the type I experience low incidence within it – I could be a set of one in how serious this is as a need ) With it difficult to afford the kind some friends easily get funded I had modest expectations for these when they were on sale in the first Black Thursday of pandemic mode but they stood up exceptionally well.

Their battery life may actually be underestimated which I have not seen in other electronics. Sound is good and while i used it mostly with computers that have additional audio programs when using it with my back up , is barely a computer device , the sound did not take that big a hit other than in nice to have personal streaming tuning but overall still great.

To start this, I am a bit of a Sony fanboy. (core series speakers, amps, alpha cameras, head units, you name it. ) I got these on sale, and i’m glad I did. Full price for these are too much. I expected “ok” to “good” noise cancelling, but instead got subpar.

I didn’t buy these for cutting edge NC, so that was not a big deal. The big drawback was these are NOT supported by the Sony Headphones app. At very least, i wanted this app to allow for the EQ to be set.

These, at default, are too low end mushy. It sounds like you are listening to things with a large bucket over your head. There is no reason not to have app support for headphones near the 200 dollar mark when lesser models have that.

The positives- –USB-C charging. I can toss them in on a roadtrip and not have to bring a micro-usb cord with. –Not bad head feel. Cushions wear in over time and dont pinch even my large head. –3. 5mm audio in.

Great option to use with a computer or device with a standard EQ. The negatives- –NC is weak, ambient sound is weaker. –Price point that puts you near premium models (if they sold these for 69. 99 to 79.

99, it would be a great option) –No app support from Sony’s own app Honestly, these will be my rough and tumble headphones. Doing yard work, mowing grass, etc. I own the wh-1000xm2’s and xm4’s, and they are far better.

Those headphones may be twice the price of these, but they have 4 times the features and at least 4 times the performance. Spend the money on the xm4’s and you wont be disappointed. You get a semi-hard case, airplane dual adapter, same usb-c support for charging, same 3.

I always wanted a headset for use in the office. My conference calls with a global team required something that would fit my budget and meet my needs. This Vont Bluetooth headset is better than the one supplied by the office.

They gave wired headsets that could only work with a land phone. I am often on Skype whatsapp and WebX on my phone. With this one, my iPhone is now useable on native calls and can join in calls on third party apps with the team.

Setup was a breeze and was done in less than a minute. I make sure to fully charge the headset and keep it juiced up. I love the ability to use it with Siri. The quality of calls on it and the battery life I get on a single charge are excellent.

I use it mainly on the calls, not much with listening to music. Pros: Not heavy, adjustable, great battery life, comfortable to wear, very easy setup, compatible with a wide variety of devices and apps.

I received this headset and found it had some residual charge. I filled it up anyway with juice before putting it to first use. Pairing was easy with my device. I found the mic does not turn a complete 3600 so I have to pay attention when changing ears.

It is quite comfortable and can be on for hours without causing you discomfort. Noise cancellation and the quality of audio output are excellent. The battery life is impressive. I have not used it for 12 hrs straight, but it goes all my day long without needing a recharge.

The headset is great. It is less compact as the typical Bluetooth headset but lacks the bulkiness of most full-size headsets. It is quite lightweight that you barely notice it on. The tons of driving I do at work is easier with this.

The Microsoft Surface Generation 1 headphones are a tremendous value right now for your money. The sound is very good with an excellent amount of the entire sound spectrum to be satisfying. While not a headphone enthusiast quality headphone, it is good enough for general use.

I always wanted these ear buds and was excited to use this discount that was offered. I really appreciated the tracking number that was provided with my order. The placement of my order to the delivery was quick and easy.

I like the sound quality of the ear buds because they have 4 different type of music styles to choose from. The fit of earbuds is a little concerning because they will fall out and I have to rejust the earbuds so that they will stay in my ears I’m afraid that if they fall out of my ears.

I have to watch were they fall and run over by a vehicle. The fit of earbuds in ear is a little bothersome because it will irritate the ears if left in for a long period of time. The call quality of earbuds picks up all back ground noise and it’s hard for the person on the other end to hear what the person is saying.

Having now had these Microsoft Surface headphones for a week, I’ve had a good chance to test out their quality, performance, comfort and battery life. First up, quality. The headphones arrived in a well made, sturdy and stylish travel case which looks as though it will give great protection when the headphones are not in use.

Inside there’s also neatly stashed cables for charging and wired use should not have Bluetooth or want to extend the life of the battery a little. The headphones themselves are some of the most premium feeling that I’ve tried.

The ear pads are soft yet feel durable, the band is well padded, buttons/ports all perfectly aligned and the dials that control volume and level of noise cancellation are wonderfully smooth when operating.

Now I’m no audiophile, but the sound quality seems awesome to me – clarity is way better than the pair of Sony headphones I currently have, bass is deep and when the noise cancellation is on full it’s a great experience.

I’ve not had noise cancelling headphones before so am unable to compare performance to others, but it does make a significant difference when on. In terms of comfort, they’ve been excellent – having worn for periods of a couple of hours at a time I’ve had no issues at all and would have no problem wearing for extended periods.

The pads fit nicely over the ears and whilst feeling secure they don’t feel tight like some others I’ve tried in the past. In terms of battery life, so far so good. Having not charged yet, I’ve worn for around 7 hours so far and still have several hours left.

A nice touch when first connecting to your phone is that you’re greeted with a message stating what the estimated time remaining is. If accurate, I think I’ll be looking at 11-12 hours between charges.

I work in an open office environment where I can hear every noise. We have loud fans, HEPA filters, background conversations, street noise, and occasionally the person next to me talking in meetings.

I was using the Logitech H390 for about a year before, which is a wired headset with no noise cancelling. I consider myself to be pretty comfortable with tech but not the type that will go out and get the latest gadgets all the time.

Overall I was very pleased with the Poly Voyager Focus 2. It arrived in a very simple cardboard box, plastic free (which I really appreciate). It worked straight out of the box having some charge in it already.

The BT dongle worked flawlessly and I have not had any issues with audio connecting to both my HP laptop and my desktop at work. Connecting to my Pixel 3XL was also easy. The headset fits comfortably on my head, I can wear it for hours, and the wireless gives me way more freedom to move around (something I didn’t know I needed!).

Audio comes in clear, the auto-off and on feature when you remove then put on the headset is great. Noise cancelling general noise worked great, but not as good as an over-the-ear type. As for the cons, the weight of the headset makes it so if you need to hunch over your desk it will slide forward if not completely off.

Like ALL noise cancelling headsets, it won’t completely block out loud conversations and the occasional fire truck, especially since it’s not fully over-ear. There is also a humming noise from the noise cancelling which, which goes away once you squish the headset closer to the ear.

When I’m on Google Meet on my phone and receive a call, I will lose audio in Meet and then have to reset my settings. Customer service was great! I purchased this headset after discussing options with Joshua via email.

I know it’s cheaper on Amazon but having a real person to work with was so much more reliable. I had a bad experience with Amazon earlier trying to get a different Poly headset, which was not fun.

I received these today, charged them fully. I turned my television on normal loudness and called my daughter from my phone. She could hear me perfectly fine, BUT I had to turn the TV down to a whisper before it was inaudible to her.

Then, I called her from my computer since this is where/how I will be using the headset. Horrible, horrible even worse! With the TV on above a whisper, she could not even understand what I was saying because of the TV in the background.

These will not serve the intended purpose, and 96% mic cancelation of background noise is an absolute lie. DO NOT BUY.

I bought the Delton 10X trucker headset a couple years ago to use in the office and absolutely loved it. Came to Staples to order another one after I broke mine and found this new Delton 20X headset.

It’s everything I loved about the other headset and then some. Super comfortable and the battery life is amazing.

I bought this for my boyfriend that works out of his truck. It’s very pair and is able to hear his clients clearly. It’s so simple using the buttons to answer the phone quickly when his phone isn’t near.

We had a toggle so plugging it into the laptop and using bluetooth with my computer is super easy. The best part is the battery life for calls, standby and listening to music. we both use the headset and so pleased.

I have one of these and it seems like a really decent headset. It was given to me by a co-worker. The only problem so far is that I don’t know what the connector or the adapter are designed to fit, so I’ve not been able to use this product yet, even though it’s been on my shelf for several years.

Nothing on my computer, desk phone, or mobile phone have an interface that matches. But it’s a Jabra product so you know it is high quality and will likely last quite awhile. But having not actually used it yet, I just cannot go higher than three stars.

This is a very adaptable headset. The included direct connect cable allows the user to put the headset on and if they need to step away for a moment there is no need to take the headset off, just unplug.

By purchasing another quick connect adapter cable the same headset can be used with an office desk phone. I have had an GN2000 for 4 years and it still performs very well. The noise cancelling (this is in relation to the microphone) is good at muffling background noises.

HOWEVER, it does require you to position the microphone in a close proximity to your mouth. If you aren’t speaking into the microphone your voice will cut out randomly and is by design to prevent conversations around you from easily being overheard by the caller.

The Microphone is on a flexible boom arm, and others who had issues had problems not because the product was faulty, but because they had not adjusted to make the microphone within 2 fingers distance from the mouth.

No you don’t have to “eat” the mic but it does need to be close to your mouth. So as a result you don’t need to speak loudly for the caller to hear your clearly.

Recieved these last week from my new job. Great headphone. It is easy to connect. I am not the biggest fan of the 1 speaker. However, the sound quality is great. Very clear. The microphone works great.

Love my jabra wireless headset! It charges fast and keeps it charge, even using it all day long to train virtual classes. It has a good range too allowing me to move around and not be connected to my desk.

I can get a glass of water and not worry about missing something. The sound quality is excellent. I highly recommend this headset and have recommended it to several of my co workers.

I’ve been using these headphones for both work and play. Since I’m working from home for the time being, these have been great for work calls and video meetings. The sound quality is superb. These headphones are really comfortable, even after wearing them for hours at a time.

They are very cushiony on the ears. It doesn’t feel like it’s squeezing my head like some do after a few hours. I really like the microphone. It absolutely does cancel out a bunch of the background noise.

At night, when I can’t sleep, these are great to watch the news or a quick show without waking anyone up. The wireless and bluetooth set up was very easy. All in all this is a quality headset that’s comfortable and well made.

I love the Logitech brand. I have used this brand for years and it just keeps getting better. This headset is perfect. I can use it for my computer with the dongle to connect multiple different Logitech products.

I can also use it with just Bluetooth and connect it to my phone and tablet. I love the fact that it has the noise canceling that I can turn on and off and a button or gesture that I can use to mute the mic.

Logitech products are always very well made and I would definitely recommend them.

Super easy to set up. Voices are clear. Only complaint so far is the annoying beeping in your ear that doesn’t stop to remind you that you are on mute. I didn’t test the range clarity yet. Will post a new review if an issue with the range.

Like the headset a lot. However I find the build cheap, in fact part of the headset broke already…. could be user error but if the build quality was better it likely would not have happened. Good sound quality, comfort and distance.

I have been using this headset with added USB connectivity to my workstation, and it is working well. Attend many online trainings & webinars, along with phone calls throughout the day. Rare to have any sound issues and the battery lasts most full days, though a lunch break charge helps it to stay topped off.

Let me start by saying that I am by no means some kind of audio expert. However, I can tell you that I have certainly spent my share of hard earned dollars over a lifetime on all sorts of headsets and plugs, usually in the $100-$150 range.

I was told about these from one of the excellent members of the staff at BestBuy after I had decided to get something decent for my home theater set up. As we walked towards the Magnolia section of the shop my heart began to sink knowing full well that I was gonna be giuded toward something that was amazing but wouldnt be able to justify the cost of.

I was partially correct. From the literal first second I tried these on, I was blown away. No exaggeration at all the sound was so good its shocking. But what floored me was the price!! These cans sound better than my $500 surround sound system and far better than anything I’ve ever owned.

Not even close. Synched up seamlessly to my LGC1 and provides full atmos and 7. 1 support without any delays or lag. They also worked my XBOX Series X and although they do not include a mic these are an absolute game changer during Halo or COD.

Comes with a nice little case and fold away for easy storage. The accompanying app allows you to fine tune your audio as needed and noise canceling works well although not the greatest. If there is one draw back its that they are quite tight around the head.

I imagine this is part of the noise canceling capabilities. Overall I am still amazed just about every time I watch something like Dune or Shang Chi with these. Highly recommended.

After having my HD 4. 40BT’s for over 5 years now and only needing to replace the earcups, I thought I’d give these a while at half price. One of the best decisions I’ve made. The 458BT brings across all the things that made my 4.

40BT’s great. Easy Bluetooth pairing with superb range, phenomenal sound quality squeezed out of Bluetooth, insane battery life and a solid design with high quality materials. I’ve heard complaints about the headband size and comfort ability but I’ve got a huge noggin and can work 8 hours in these with ease.

The noise cancelling isn’t the best in the market but it does manage to block louder noises quite impressively for its price. Sennheiser’s Sound Check mode is great for people who are inexperienced with EQ’s and makes it really easy to get the best out of your headphones.

These are a great buy and I’m excited to see what Sennheiser have planned for the next model.

Short story; These Sennheiser headphones are fantastic as well as versatile! For most of my life, I’ve tried to find excellent headphones that don’t cost a small fortune ($100 or less) and these deliver.

In March 2020, I bought a set of Sennheiser HD 4. 50 phones on sale through Best Buy. (They’re functionally the same as the HD 458’s, but with some minor structural differences. ) I love them so much, I jumped on a sale-priced, HD 458 set to travel in my laptop bag.

Versatility: I can use them wirelessly or wired, with or without the Active Noise Reduction on. If I’m on a plane and they insist on no broadcasting electronics, I can just plug them in, make sure the ANR is off and they’re like any other simple headphones.

My normal use for them is while working in front of the computer, plugged in and the Noise Reduction on. This configuration allows for an incredibly long battery life. I can’t say how long, but I can go many, many days without needing to recharge it.

Great headset for virtual experience such as Zoom.

Best headset I used in sometime for my computer …it has option to mute / unmute connector…usb connector is awesome…can’t ask for a better product for the price

The headset stopped working after about two weeks. I do not recommend this product.
