I absolutely LOVE this hat! So amazing. I’m a kayaking and river rafting guide in Alaska and I wear almost everyday. Good color and durability even in rain and wind. It’s cute and keeps the sun off your face.

I do think It is a little wide brimmed (that may be because I have a more oval face) but I honestly don’t care because I love all the other features so much. I will be buying more of these for sure!!!.

This hat is perfect; light, breathable, and it looks great. I find myself wanting to wear it all the time, and while doing anything. (That’s right – let your mind wander). I like how the excess strap is tucked hidden away.

And it even has a little accent string loop in the back, I think to hang glasses? Highly recommend it.

I work outside all day at a COVID testing site and need to wear a mask. The mask tan I developed has been driving me insane, so I’ve been looking for something to protect the sides of my face, so I can avoid wearing a gaiter (breaks me out).

This hat has been heaven-sent. I will say, i read all the other reviews and agree that if your head is on the bigger side of things, yeah this will probably be snug. I have a short pixie cut so it worked out perfectly for me, I even had to adjust it a little.

The material is durable, and the color perfectly matched my navy scrubs. I’m quite the sweaty lady and can confidently say this hat helped keep me cool. I’m looking to buy more colors in the future and definitely recommend.

Oh also someone else said they wished they made this hat for women- yo, this hat is definitely unisex. 5 stars.

I got it for my father for gardening. Not the perfect application, but it does the job pretty well. The finish is great. A ripstop water repellent fabric. The thing I didn’t not thing about is the breath ability.

Since it’s not cotton, it doesn’t absorb the sweat, so it might be hot if you’re doing physical ability. Otherwise, it seems perfect for hiking and fishing. And the color is pretty.

I was looking for a hat that had protection from wind and UV for hiking. I wanted the cape to be stowable but not removable, because I wanted to be able to switch from a cape out to stowed and back again in a few seconds.

This hat does this perfectly. I feel it looks stylish enough to stow and wear about town. The offwhite colour is perfect as well.

I enjoy landscape photography, and a hat is a must for viewfinder clarity. The brim on this hat not only protects me from the sun, but it is wide enough and flexible enough to not interfere with a camera that is quickly placed, by me, into my face.

The hat is very lightweight and packable. My only objection is the size is definitely Largebut adjustable with a cinch cord on the inner headband. I would have preferred a slightly smaller size, but the price is right and it serves my purpose well.

The hat is very much what I was looking for, but I wish the brim would soften up. It arrived folded in half which left a crease in both sides of the brim. The top was also heavily wrinkled which was not such a big deal, but I have been unable to steam out the top or the creases in the brim where it was folded.

The color of olive is just what I wanted for fly fishing and the fit is good. The product was definitely worth the price. Just wish it would have been shipped unfolded. The brim is not a “crushable” style as similar hats are.

While working in the garden and doing yardwork, i tend to get too moo sun exposure. Even wearing sunscreen i get burnt on my face dur to medication. I got this and now i dont have to worry anymore it provides and added layer of protection.

Its the perfext size and doesnt make my head hot like a ball cap does.

I absolutely adore my flat brim Wren! I stumbled onto the off-white Wren while looking for a summer straw hat, and found the felt Wren. I am so glad—even though it is officially still summer, I am able to wear it in the afternoon/evening beach breezes.

The wren hat is a personal favorite of mine and the hat I am most often asked about. Love the leather strap (prevents it from blowing off) and the off white color goes with absolutely everything. The flatter crown is very flattering to most face shapes.

I was so excited when a petite blogger with small head woes linked this beautiful hat which adjusts to fit smaller heads. It seemed like the perfect sun hat because of the wide brim. Unfortunately, it did not look like it did on the adorable blogger.

It took on more of a Farmer Jones on me (no offense to Farmer Jones). That just wasn’t the look I was going for. I can highly recommend this because it is a beautiful, well made, adjustable hat that looks lovely on some one else.

Love the hat but be careful of sizing. I ordered an extra small. I have a small head and typically all hats are too big for my head. I sometimes buy children a hats. I ordered this because it came in sizes.

Ordered an extra small based on other reviews and it was too small. Never ever had that happen! Returned and the small was not available so I will see when it comes back in stock if it’s better.

No hats ever look good on me. Ever. The pictures in the reviews made me buy it because it seemed to look good on everyone. I still had my doubts. This hat looks so good on me. It will be perfect when I go out in the sun.

I love that it has an adjustable band. I’m tempted to order another in case this goes out of stock, that’s how much I like it. I cannot recommend this enough.

Y’all, I have lots of hair. Lots of long, naturally wavy hair. I have tried for years to find a hat that would provide practical face and ear protection from the sun, while allowing me to keep the hair off my neck, and in a controlled knot on the top of my head.

Other crown-less hats had too wide of a brim, or had too high of profile so it would slide too low on my head/forehead. But this one is just about perfect. The drawstring and toggle at the crown allow me to adjust the size, and holds it securely enough that it won’t fly off even while riding in the Jeep with the top down and doors off.

The only thing that would make this hat even MORE perfect would be an optional neck string w/fit toggle so I could secure it against the wind while out on the boat. People from The North Face, are you listening? Add a neck string and I’ll buy one in every color! Seriously!.

This is the hat I always knew I needed, but couldn’t find. If you have natural hair that doesn’t fit under regular hats, this is for you! It does what it’s supposed to, and fits well even without the drawstring.

I’m about to buy at least 2 more of them to last me. More topless hats, TNF! (Think pom pom beanies, except the pony tail is exposed where the pom usually is; maybe a cap with a hole in the top instead of the back).

My only complaint are the colors. TNF, I love you, but those colors are uninspiring and in some cases just plain ugly. They’re not even the featured colors of the season, nor do they match any of the colors of the main pieces (denalis, ositos, etc.

) Do better on that, TNF.

LOVE my Wren hat! The chinstrap keeps it in place and from flying off my head. I love how lightweight yet well constructed it is. It’s a hat I’ll be wearing for years to come. The brown color goes with everything I wear.

Love this hat – it is a true sunshade if you need to keep sun off your face. It fits me loosely, but still a good fit. My hat size is slightly smaller than medium. I love the traditional pattern, and the washable velcro-attached fabric across the forehead is a great feature.

Wish the hat was washable, but I will take good care of it. Lightweight, not so great for very windy days. All in all, 5 stars.

Bought this hat for relaxing/reading outdoors as the back brim is barely there. Fits that purpose well. Was concerned when I took it out of the box and it was severely dented; fortunately it popped back into shape after a few days.

Love this hat! I had originally bought the Phoenix hat without realizing it was a smaller brim. I’m all about the bigger rim, and this Sierra hat definitely does that! The ribbon is gorgeous too and adds a bit of character to it.

I was debating between the small and the medium, and after talking to a customer service rep, I decided to go with the small. I definitely wish I went with the medium though. It fits, but is tight and hurts my head a bit.

I’m going to attempt to stretch it out. But if you’re between sizes or on the verge of one, I certainly recommend sizing up.

I have a very small head even the smalls in LOC hats are a little big on me, but I do love the color and versatility of this hat! It goes with pretty much everything and is the perfect addition to any season.

However I do tend to reach for my Ivory Rancher more! Personal preference I guess! I will say I wear it to work quite often and working in retail I’m always complimented on my appearance, the number #1 comment I get is how expensive my hats look! And they are pricier but soooo worth it!.

Really nice hat. Particularly for the price. Very nice looking and very comfortable. At this price I dont have worry about messing it up in everyday wear. I wish there was a size in between the two sizes avail each.

Awesome hat. Just what i expected.

I got this hat in black at the Las Vegas store. It was nice to try on different hat sizes but the L (7 3/8 according to Goorin Bros) did the trick for me. I’m usually in between a 7 1/2 and 7 5/8, so this hat seems to run a bit big compared to other companies.

The hat has a widish curved brim that looks sexy and isn’t too intimidating. Overall, the Night Hawk is a worthy member of the western crossover genre style that I find appealing. Some people might think that you’re wearing a cowboy hat but they lack nuance.

One issue that I have with this hat is the price (which increases when you buy at the LV store after all the taxes you have to pay in Nevada). At $250 this hat is over priced when you can get something almost identical in the Biltmore Traveller which you can still find as low as $140.

The material is the same, the specs are the same… what am I missing? Is it the one year guarantee offered by Goorin Bros? I live in LA and probably won’t be traveling the Vegas just to get a free hat cleaning.

Anyhow, the hat is nice but unless you really want the hat in black, which I did, you can a grey or a brown one just like this elsewhere.

Like many of us, I have a few nice hats but this one really stands out as being a step above. as it should with that price tag. This is the most expensive hat I’ve ever owned but if you’re reading this, you’ve already gotten past that part.

Compared to my Dean The Butcher (a hat that I love to the earths end) this hat is made with a much firmer felt that feels a bit thinner/lighter as well. It also has a slightly shorter crown then other goorin bro’s hats I’ve had.

Lastly on fit, I actually have to stuff the inner band to keep it from falling off with the wind so if you’re in between sizes, I’d size down but if you also need a tall crown, you should look elsewhere.

All said, I just love this thing. The grey on grey color scheme and simple clean silhouette make this a peace that can be dressed up or down as you like.

I ordered the shadow gray hat as a nicer everyday hat. First time I sweated in it, pink sweat stains appeared. Nothing would remove them and I was told that’s just how it is. I’m thinking it may just be that particular color.

Since then I just turned it into my cardio/work hat. It gets completely dripping wet in sweat 5 days a week for the past 120ish days. I’ve thrown it in the washer probably a half dozen times and it is now a faded light gray color and the original sweat stains are barely noticeable.

I’d give it 3. 5 stars if possible to split the difference.

To say this is my favorite means a lot because I have SO MANY HATS. The fit is great! The look is sleek and goes with just about anything. I definitely recommend adding this hat to your collection.

All I have to say is FINALLY! Finally, a Sitka Gear trucker hat that has the proper crown height. Excellent fit and finish, great to wear on warmer hunts or around town. Ordered both Elevated II and Subalpine.

I have searched for the perfect wide stiff brimmed straw hat. I stopped a woman at a vintage market in Chicago to find out that it was a Goorin Bros. hat! I immediately bought it, but was a little concerned because the smallest size in this style might be a little big.

When it came, I loved the style, the packaging to keep it safe, and I get compliments on it all the time!!! But, it is just a little big, so when the wind comes it flies off. With no wind, it’s fine.

But, in Miami by the water, there’s always wind. I’m keeping it and will see how I can add something to the inside to make it fit better. I just wish there was one size smaller available, like in other styles.

Or that they could sell an inside attachment to make it tighter.

This hat (while pricey) is worth it if you are looking for the perfect hat to compliment every outfit. I’ve searched high and low and never found exactly what I was looking for until I found this hat.

This is a stunning and striking hat. I bought this in Whiskey and I will probably purchase the Black color as well. I bought a size Large and I generally wear a Large for all brands of hats, but I believe this hat runs a bit bigger.

I had to use a small amount of foam hat filler for the hat to stay on, but it was no big deal. I do not usually wear stiff-brim hats, but as another reviewer mentioned, this one is an exception and well worth the investment.

I love this stiff brim and stiff crown wool fedora. The hat is very similar to the black and blue without the fine detail under the brim. I bought the blue, or, “ denim” colored hat. The color is perfect for almost any wardrobe.

I like the stiff crown; and for those who like hard flat brim and hardened crown; this is your hat. I have lost count of the number of Goorin Bros hats I have; but ordering, delivery, and customer service, has always been impeccable.

The Billy Fedora is my absolute favorite! Love the style, fit is perfect, and with the stiff brim you don’t have to worry about it losing its shape. I have the denim and black in this model. Please introduce more colorways like brown, gray, or even a marbled color one! I am hooked!.

This hat fits very well and true to Suze going off their fit chart, I wear a 7 1/2 fitted cap and a small fits well. U can pull it on snug so it stays put with our high winds. It doesn’t breathe well and with the black color it can get hot as expected.

This is the perfect buckethat. Excelent waterproofness with good sweat evaporation at the same time, nice and light fabric but the black can be a bit hot in the blazing sun.

This is it! I love the fabric. It dries very quickly, whenever I sweat from rough hiking. And it has wide brim to protect your face from evil sun. I like the way it fits on my head. It also has string around, hold the hat from rough wind.

I was at Scottland shore, it was crazy windy there, but I was safe from the wind. It has vent area to make your sweat dry fast and less stinky. Buy this hat, If you are planning to go hiking. Perfect hat for that.

Design assumes all women have pony tails. The contrasting color at the back is too busy looking, it is plain unattractive. What’s up with the different stretch fabric with the ponytail pass through? I much preferred the previous traditional classic model with the adjustable buckle strap.

The change from embroidery logo to an iron logo makes hat look cheap. Very glad I got four hats these past two years, which are still like new. Was wanting to add to my collection in different colors, but won’t.

Please, NorthFace bring back the original. It had hundreds of 5 star reviews, so why ruin a good thing. Why didn’t NorthFace simply increase the price vs coming out with this redesign???.

I feel like I must get in here to say that this is by far the best hat I have ever owned. It fits fantastic since I got a small head and insane quality. Used it when I went white water rafting, hiking, etc, and just super amazing.

It even got washed in the machine by accident and the form, color is still exactly the same. I will be buying another one right now! hope this helps in everyone’s decision-making. Oh and North Face people if you guys are seeing this good job on the product, and keep this hat on the market forever.

First and foremost, this hat fits my head. Almost perfectly! Most adjustable hats end up with the fabric bunching in the back when adjusted to a small head. I dislike that. The adjustable part in this hat has an added elastic piece to it which helps to stretch and provide a good fit for any shape without bunching.

I wore it out in 90 degree heat and I felt it breathed exceptionally well. Lightweight and good colors. I got the goblin blue color and it’s just what I wanted. Ordering another!.

I bought this for my teenage son and he’s not taken it off his head since he opened the parcel last week. It’s beautifully made and fitted to perfection. The fabric is excellent quality and the lining is beautiful.

Given the amount he’s wearing it, I am sure we will need another and I will be buying here again.

*Chefs kiss* As someone who is thin and petite I often have to assess whether I’m wearing an item, or if the item is wearing me. Having a 59cm head, admiring such a large hat felt like I was asking for disappointment, yet I insisted on examining customer photos for four months.

This hat is as big and beautiful as it looks in the photos, and I couldn’t possibly feel more confident wearing it. The high crown paired with the cattleman’s crease and upturned brim elevates this accessory from being just a hat to a fashion statement.

Although the color came as a surprise to me, it is absplutly perfect. The tan color paired with a pink undertone makes the hat even more unique. All future hats are going to be compared to the excitement and confidence this hat makes me feel when I wear it.

I absolutely adore my Zephyr Rancher in Brown! I get so many compliments on it! It looks especially cute with a hand band and feather! (I was able to buy it on one of the limited edition releases and it came with a super cute rope and hand band and feather.

) I also like that I can wear it alone without the hat band and it looks just as stylish! The sizing was spot on. I have especially appreciated the AMAZING customer service that Gigipip offers! They are very attentive and respond quickly.

I was curious how a northface hat would compare to similar brands. I have to order flex fit hats to fit my large head and this hat did not disappoint. If you enjoy flex fit hats this is a great find.
