20 Best Hammock Stands For Eno (2023 Updated)

Bought this used from rei which was nice cause I saved some money. The system works wonderfully and is easy to set up. I took it on a month long road trip and it was wonderful as I only sleep in hammocks.

I’m often frustrated because of the lack of tree options or because in many national parks they will not allow you to wrap the straps around the trees. My 2 big complaints are the weight and the way the bag to store stuff is designed.

The pockets need to be completely separate otherwise the poles get trapped and it’s hard to zip the top and also pull them out later. The lining also started to rip out too which was frustrating. I think the pole design is great but the bag design is not.

After being completely shut down from hammock camping in a park with rules against tying anything to trees, I tried this out of pure curiosity and was blown away. After a quick setup in the living room, this became the envy of the whole family and the new preferred guest bed option for my small apartment.

Very fast, easy setup, and sturdy enough to provide peace of mind given how light it is. Can’t wait to see how a fly and bug net will fare hooked up to it.

When I first saw this on REI, I thought the poles were flimsy like tent poles. They are huge. I’ve set this hammock up in high winds and wasn’t blown over. I’ve used it multiple times in temperatures of 12 degrees Fahrenheit (with the optional tent).

I love this. In fact, my wife ended up wanting one so I bought it for her as well. See my other review with the optional tent for more info.

Last longer review was denied due to colorful language, squares. Its great the best one yet. Held off because of cost wish I pulled the trigger earlier. I have a few stands and a tons of hammocks, I have a problem, but I love them this stand is the best.

I can’ wait to get home and relax in it. easy setup even by yourself. Box is really heavy but you pay for quality. especially if you plan to buy the super nest hammock, which is huge and comfy also worth it!!!.

Just received and put together. Heavy and seems pretty sturdy. Advertised as 168 inches, which is 14ft. Tip to tip it is about 1/2 inch short of 15ft 6 inches, which is 186 inches. The specs are incorrect and it does not fit the space I had planned.

Worthless pile of garbage to me now.

Absolutely love this hammock stand. This summer, I wake up every morning and watch the sunrise in the hammock and watch the bees and the butterflies in the garden while drinking my morning coffee. My boyfriend and I sit in the hammock together at night to read before it gets too dark, or to look at the stars once it is.

I was so excited to get this hammock stand. We had to cut down one of my hammock trees this past summer, so I was looking for something that didn’t require trees. Since everyone in our family has either an ENO SingleNest or ENO Doublenest hammock, I thought this ENO Solopod would be perfectly spaced to work with them.

especially since ENO said in their specs that it would work with either. Unfortunately, for comfort, you want to be lying in your hammock horizontally – not in a U shape. Because the hanging hooks are too close together, the only way for me to get in a horizontal straight line was to lie at a complete diagonal across the width of the hammock which means my underquilt wouldn’t work well with it.

Living in Northern Wisconsin, my underquilt is used almost as often as my hammock. You also end up being really close to the ground. For those wanting to know if their hammock will work, the spacing from the end of each hook where your hammock attaches is 8’10” with no one in the hammock and about 8’5″ with someone in it.

If you look at ENO wall mount systems, they recommend using them on walls 9’4″ to 10′ apart, and yet this stand-alone stand is much closer together. I’ve never used the wall mount hooks, but I’m now wondering if walls further apart would be better for comfort as well.

I’m going to try the Grand Truck Hangout Hammock Stand next, and if that doesn’t work, I’ll probably just build my own out of treated wood so I can customize all dimensions. I would have thought a company such as ENO would have made sure all their products worked well together or would have specified if they didn’t.

This is a great product, especially if you don’t have the perfect distance of trees to hang up a hammock. I tried this product out at a yoga festival before buying and fell in love with the secure feeling this stand provides.

I’ve had this for a year now, and it’s one of my favorite items I own. I bought the double hammock from ENO and it fits great (don’t know anything about the single style, but I would assume that works too).

Overall this is a great product, just note if you leave it out in the rain the inside will rust and collect water, and then when you go to take it apart the rust water comes gushing out-so just be a responsible person unlike myself.

Also unless you are super strong you might need another person to help set up and take down, it is very simple to put together, but the stand is a bit heavy. I would def recommend and purchase again.

First off: this stand is very expensive. I was willing to spend the money for a good portable Hammock stand, but for this price I’d like to have something that isn’t failing after 2. 5 years. Overall it has been pretty good.

It holds well, breaks down well, it is lightweight. The issue has always been this: when I first got it, I was shocked at how loosely everything fit together. Why they made the bars have such large clearances between each other when being assembled is beyond me.

It felt like a weird and shoddy engineering oversight for an otherwise nice stand. Well, after a few years, the large clearances mixed with the lackluster mechanism for the retaining tabs/knobs have led to one of my hammock stand legs repeatedly snaking out of its hole, and two people have had the stand collapse on them while in use.

It’s irritating because it feels like an issue that isn’t related to wear and tear — it just shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. Not super pleased.

I travel a lot and find myself spending a lot of time in desert areas- and as much as I enjoy sagebrush, it’s not conducive to hanging a hammock. So I started browsing for a stand. Everything was too flimsy, too bulky, not travel friendly, or designed poorly.

A review popped up for the Swiftlet stand and it sounded great! But “Almost $300 for a hammock stand?? Heck no”, close tab. I kept coming back to it though, and eventually made the purchase. And it’s been worth every penny.

The swiftlet is designed efficiently, simply, and is very portable. It’s sturdy enough to withstand being thrown around in the truck bed but is still easy to assemble/disassemble/pack around. I love being able to put it in chair mode if I’m in a smaller space or want to sit upright.

And it has enough length with the long bar to sleep in, which was a concern with other stands (I’m 6′). The included carrying case is great as well. AND Kammock just released a cup holder for it which I’ve just ordered as well (super stoked)! Going on two years now and I’ve used it almost every day.

I stumbled upon the Swiftlet while researching more comfortable and compact chair options while camping. We tested out a “luxury recliner camp chair”, but I wasn’t impressed, especially since it was a one-trick pony and was almost the same price as the Swiftlet.

Once we found the Swiftlet, I wanted it right away, but my husband is not an impulse buyer like I am. He did some research, watched some videos, and ultimately, bit the bullet and made the purchase. It was the best decision we made to add this to our camping gear! I am petite and very lazy, but the Swiftlet is so easy for me to set up.

Paired with the Roo Double, it’s perfect for our family. My husband isn’t much of a sitter, but it’s nice to know he can comfortably sit with me and our baby in the Swiftlet when he feels the need. I love that there are options for configurations, and that it is compact and easy to travel with, but still sturdy.

It is a nice replacement for the bulky zero gravity chairs we used to lug around.

This is a very well made item and I think it will last a long time. The powder coating seems durable which is important to prevent rust. I’m a big guy, not fat but tall and muscular and I was worried it may not hold my weight, but it does very well.

I don’t feel nervous to move around in my hammock which kind of defeats the purpose. I use this to camp when I am using a tent due to having my daughter with me. It fits in my half of the tent (10×7) just barely.

Here is where the negatives come in. To truly get a proper hammock hang for a good diagnol lay, I have to hang it as loose as possible which, because of the arm design, leaves me rubbing the bottom bar, also the wing nuts rub on the straps coming from my hammock.

I think it would be better if the bottom bar was longer and the arms were at more of an upright angle. One other con is that the tubing does not fit tightly so there is a fair amount of play when you lay down in the hammock.

Once you get used to this and account for it though, it works fine. All in all I’m pretty picky about my gear, and I am happy with this purchase. Paired with an eno doublenest and a snugpak peapod I sleep reeeeeeeaaalllllly well!.

Affordable, nice enough looking. I like that it is adjustable and rolls. I don’t think it is as sturdy as I’d like where the ends meet the base. There is movement when you swing or get in and out. Can’t speak to durability as we haven’t had it that long.

It is under a covered patio. Has not been drenched but has been sprayed a bit from rain and no rust so far. We like it a lot despite the small faults. Very comfortable. Would still recommend.

For an average Asian person like me six feet tall and one hundred thirty pounds, this stand is perfect for length, weight, and width. I purchased this without the hammock, I made the hammock myself with my own fabric.

I can turn the screw backward as in the picture if my hammock is too long or forward if my hammock is shorter. It’s very easy assembly with 5 pieces of heavy metal. The width of bottom metals are wide enough to swing which I was worry before purchasing.

The U-shape at top bars are very convenient to hold the longer stretched hammocks. It comes with an extra screw after I finish the assembly. I think its extra screw was used for swinging string if this screw could be tied somewhere at the 4 rearmost corners of the bottom metals, then it is perfect stand.

The fact that I can not find any extra hole to tie that extra screw for a string that I can pull to swing the hammock while laying inside the hammock. It’s a minor issue since I can tie a string at the bottom intersection of the metal bars then I can pull the string to swing the hammock too.

Generally it’s a perfect stand for me. These heavy metals come with a good quality carrying bag. The bag is made just enough room so it’s a little hard to arrange those metals well inside. If the bag is made a little bigger thenthe zipper is easier to be closed.

I purchased this stand recently in hopes that it would allow me to hammock camp even when there are no trees in sight. I also have a Kammok Swiflet which at 15 lbs is a lot more portable but its design shortens a double hammock somewhat, and it doesn’t really have anywhere to attach a bug net or tarp to.

The Grand Trunk stand was a breeze to assemble with no need to reference the included instructions, and very stable. It allowed me to hang the hammock at full length, creating a perfect hang with zero hassle.

I attached the tarp and bug net to some nearby tree branches for extra clearance but I could have easily attached them to the ends of the stand with sufficient overhead room. This stand is coming on all of my car camping trips from now on!.

This es exactly what I needed. The problem I saw with the Kammock brand was it shortens your hammock lengh. That would be fine for sitting but I wanted something for sleeping in all night. I used this and it worked with my ENO rain tarp.

The only caution with this stand is your but is quite close to the ground. When using an under quilt I have to connect to the higher loops so it doesn’t touch the ground. It has worked great for camping.

The stand is very sturdy while remaining portable. Used while camping and it was a great experience. Assembles in seconds and accommodates many hammock sizes with the included straps. Highly recommended!.

I purchased this hammock stand because it said that it could be used for hammocks up to 14 feet long, which is what I needed. After I put it together I went to put my 14 foot hammock on it. They gave instructions to loop it through the small circle at the point of the topmost point of the stand and hook it on the crossbar hook.

While that did allow the hammock to be installed, it caused the center ropes to be loose so that it became more of a sack than a hammock. Also the pop up buttons that secure the bottom rails are not very secure.

While this stand my be perfectly fine for a shorter hammock (which is why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1 or 2), do NOT order this for the longer hammocks. I am very disappointed as this was part of a gift to my daughter and I will now have to buy a different stand.

The item arrived earlier than expected – great! I like it a lot, but have only had it up for 2 days. Some negatives: The box was crushed at the top and sloppily wrapped in a lot of cheap tape. The company should consider re-boxing or asking their supplier to use better quality shipping materials.

Fortunately, all the small parts were enclosed in a small box inside the larger box, so I was relieved about that. One of the tubes/poles that make up the hammock was defective – out of shape and difficult to put in-place.

I knew that the part could be bent a little to fit; that a sledge-hammer would allow it to fit regardless of the defect. Had I not asked a capable man to assist me in the assembly (I am a widow living alone), this review would have been 1-star and the hammock base – and hammock – would be on it’s way back.

We had a cheaper smaller hammock stand that was starting to rust after being in the elements a few years. After looking for a strong sturdy hammock that would comfortably hold our two person hammock, we found this one.

Assembly was easy, I did need a second person for a couple things, but it was easy to do. Our two person hammock fits perfectly. It comes with parts that allow you to lower the hammock if needed. I believe this is a hammock stand that is going to last my family for years.

Well designed, sturdy, and adaptable to various size hammocks. Easy assembly, but not as rust resistant at welds as are the pipes. Surface rust started at lower welds after just a couple of nights in the yard.

Honestly, wasn’t very difficult to correct, but looks like I’ll be chasing this problem frequently to prevent more serious corrosion. But for the price, good product!.

This thing is a heavy beast. Quick and easy to put together, sturdy, and it feels very stable in use. I took it out of the package inside and hauled the pieces outside over about three or four trips.

The directions are pretty good. I am using it with one of those cheap fabric hammocks that come in a bag, and it is just glorious.

Fits perfectly on our patio!!! Love the rounded ends, no more bumping into the pole” sticking out. Love this design. Had to re-tie our hammock to make it shorter to get the perfect fit but it was worth it.

It’s easy to put together and works great! We haven’t had the issue with squeaking at all, but maybe that happens with age? It’s perfect for an eno hammock or the like with no straps needed. It’s pretty light weight so good for moving around (sun/shade).

Only reason it’s a 4 star instead of 5 is if you got crazy you could maybe flip it bc it is fairly light. But works great for us!.

It’s sturdy enough to hold the hammock. The one thing I really do not like about it is that it squeaks a lot even if you’re slightly swinging in the hammock. It can be very annoying if you’re trying to relax on the hammock.

We tried a 10 ft stand (same brand) and the hammock sunk to the ground (I weigh less than 200 lbs) so we tried this one. The website says it holds 10-15 ft hammocks. The fine print, after you open the box, advises that you have to buy accessories to fit anything smaller than 15 ft.

Sold separately. Cost unknown. We couldn’t stretch our hammock to fit. You can buy a hammock with a stand for less than the price of this stand. We returned the product.

Really good quality metal. Easy to put together. Everything fit very well. Good powder coat. I didn’t keep it because it was too huge for my balcony. I didn’t really think it through when I purchased it.

But it was easy enough for an old lady like me to assemble it. However it was pretty heavy and I needed help to and from the car.

There are two sizes available in which the employees of Canadian tire forgot to mention, as a result I took home the wrong size for my hammock and when I tried to return it they refused a return because the box was open , long story short … they exchanged it for the 10 ft one and refunded the difference.

This frame is weaker and not as sturdy compared to the bigger one. But it does the job and so far so good.

This stand is actually bronze in color – the only part that is black are the plastic caps. Simply assembly, no tools required. Easy to break down and set back up – which is a huge benefit for me living in a state where we have a snowy winter.

It comes with attached S-hooks and a separate S-hook chain so you can adjust the length/height of your hammock. I bought the Linen Striped Pillow Top Hammock – Black/White – Threshold™ and hooked it directly to the S-hooks, so the chain was not needed.

This says it fits 12-13ft hammocks and this Threshold hammock measured 10. 5ft laying flat, but when hung it was able to stretch and hangs perfectly without touching the ground, and without needing the included chain.

Not sure how sturdy it will be in strong winds on our rooftop deck – if its an issue I’ll put some weight/sandbags at the base to secure it if needed.

The photo shows two chains but it only comes with one. The plastic pieces for the legs were damaged. Plus side – It is easy to assemble and the finish is good. The weight limit for this stand is 275lbs.

My hammock stand arrived in good condition, but I could tell that the box had been opened before. There was a small scratch on one of the bars. Nonetheless, I put it together and you can’t tell. Easy assembly.

the quality of the metal is good, the design is good, all the necessary hardware?. not so much. one of the stands was completely missing the spring loaded snap pieces. we had to stick random bolts into the holes to secure that part of the hammock stand.

Works well so far have used it for a month at the time of writing. Very easy to assemble. Hasnt collapsed under it’s own weight. The arms do shift a little when you put weight on them which could be concerning for some.

But weve had 2 adults and a child in the hammock and the stand is fine.

My daughter saved her money to buy a hammock, but all our local stores were sold out of stands. I was thrilled when we found one on QVC. We read the description and made sure it was the right size. It would have saved me a lot of time and tears from my daughter had the description told us S hooks and chains are required but not sold with.

Or hey! Here is an idea how about add $10 to the price and include the S hooks and chains with purchase! Very disappointed that a company that spends so much time “selling” would not include crucial information like this.

Basically no hammock fits on this stand without the S hooks and chain kit.

Have had this stand for several weeks now with regular use. Bought it for primarily indoor use at home and to take to relatives/friends for extended stays. That said I have been sleeping lounging in it regularly.

Solid build quality. Easy to assemble; only 6 bolts to tighten. Stable. Adequate length when fully extended. I’m 6’2″. The only thing that initially gave me pause are the plastic hooks, but they have held strong.

I’m 203lbs. In conclusion I’ll stand by this but I’d rather just hang with it.

Not pleased with the heavy industrial appearance this hammock stand. The placement of it is in my backyard with a background of bamboo. The contrast between the green organic and the heavy cold grey inorganic metal is too jarring for these artist eyes.

I was so sure it was what I wanted and needed that I paid the asking price without question. Boo boo.

I’m very pleased with my purchase. What was said in the blog was so true. I fall asleep quicker and get up in the morning feeling great— not stiff and aching. The stand was easy to set up. It’s hard not to go back for a nap! It’s all I hoped for after researching hammocks for about a year.

The hammock stand which is metal appears to be very well built.

I assemble products all the time. These are by far the worst instructions I’ve ever come across. I get better instructions in broken English on products coming from China. Can’t review the product because I haven’t put it together yet, but the instruction sheet is awful, the website is useless, there’s a busy signal at the phone number, and the other website & phone number offer nothing either.

Online search came up with pdf of same useless instructions. 5 pieces of steel, plus hardware, & no identification of which piece goes where. I’m an intelligent woman, so I’ll figure it out with trial & error, but I’m very frustrated that something this simple-seeming could be made so difficult.

Many, many years ago, we were on a family trip to Pawleys Island. I was young, and I just remember that it was hot as blazes! Luckily, we stopped into your shop, and all took turns swinging in your hammocks.

My grandmother bought one of your hammocks to give to my parents, who really did not have a place to hang it, so they kept it in storage. Last summer, I am helping them to clean out their storage, and my mom gifts this to me.

We ship it from Upstate SC, to Western NY and buy a hammock stand for it. 30 years later: its a perfect fit! Thank you all – Vernon and Kate Huff (gifted by A. V. and Kate Huff), via Margaret Huff, deceased.

I bought a P. I hammock for a friend’s birthday a couple years ago. Hanging it from a couple of trees at her place was less than satisfactory. This stand is a big improvement! The pipe is heavy gauge and the welds are well done.

The powder coating has some scratches, thin spots and a few other imperfections. The stand had a rough trip getting here, to judge from the packaging, so that might account for some of the scratches.

Overall, quite satisfied!.

Before purchasing the hammock STAND, I purchased what was displayed in the store and on your website as a hammock and a stand. I made the purchase in the store and arranged to have it delivered 160 miles away as a gift.

I WAS NOT INFORMED THAT THE HAMMOCK PURCHASE DID NOT INCLUDE THE STAND—I WAS NOT ASKED IF I WANTED TO PURCHASE A STAND. I was told simply that it would be delivered free. At $259, an expensive hammock, it was reasonable for me to presume that the stand was included, JUST AS IT WAS DISPLAYED.

Some days later, in a conversation with the gift recipient, I asked how they liked the hammock. I was told that they didn’t have two trees or other means to support it yet. I asked, “It didn’t include a stand!?” I was told it did not.

Embarrassed, I looked again at your website and the hammock clearly was hanging in a stand, just as it was in the store, creating the clear impression that it would be part of the purchase—and no one even hinted to me that it was not.

I then had to order the stand for another $194, including $15 for delivery and handling. In total, I had spent nearly $500 for a hammock. You were right in your cute advertising deception presumption: I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED A $500 HAMMOCK.

Moreover, this experience will chill any interest I might have in future L. L. Bean purchases. Your website does not indicate with any importance at all that the stand is not included. One must read well down into the ad, under “Additional Features,” to see that a stand is sold separately.

How do you include the absence of a critical part of a product as an “Additional Feature?” By definition, it would be more accurately and honestly listed under a heading of “Critical Missing Feature.

” Worse, in the store, there was no hint that the stand was not included. So why did I rate the product “poor?” Because it’s not worth $500 and the accompanying embarrassment and hassle, including this “review.

Item arrived quickly. All pieces and easy directions. I had it together in 10 minutes. Issue- the arms that hold the hammock are very wobbly. The connection pieces don’t have a tight hold together. For weight up to 350lbs, it seems like it could bend out of shape.

Assembles and disassembles within seconds. Easy to use, easily transportable. Been using for almost a year now without issue. Looks stylish as well, functions great.

Bought to replace a wooden one which quickly rotted and collapsed under weight. This is a good product: robust, adjustable, strong but light. Would buy again.

Love it, the DD modular hammock fits this great. Have slept out in it with no worries. I weight over 19 stone and 6ft it held my weight. Was concermed about the plastic ends but weight is transferred down which makes it strong.

Exactly as described and my existing hammock fit nicely on the frame. Delivery took a few days longer than promised but that wasn’t really an issue. Large and sturdy would recommend.
