The Panasonic ER-GB96-K is a highly portable, easy to use razor. Out of the box, accessories are sparse, due to the unique height-adjusting dial featured on this razor. There are three different height guides and one detail guide that come with it.

When using small drops, the lubricant it comes with should last a very, very long time. My beard is quite coarse and curly, and this product handled it easily. I never felt a single hair get snagged or tugged on, at any length setting I tried.

It’s light, with little vibration, and it’s very quiet. Extremely easy to delicately maneuver, for whatever style of beard you wish to have. The only thing I dislike about it is the carrying case. It’s really only big enough to fit the razor and a single guide.

It would be fine for traveling, but it’s just a bit annoying that you can’t store all the accessories in it, if, like me, trimming is more of a monthly than daily or weekly occasion. The battery will likely last the duration of any shorter trips you take it on, and it can also be used while plugged in, which is something a lot of rechargeable devices of many types miss out on, for some reason.

In all, I think this is an excellent option for anyone looking to keep a short to medium length beard trimmed and tidy.

This Panasonic beard trimmer should have most every length of beard covered. It comes with four attachments that include a detail trimming attachment and three comb attachments that allow for a total of 58 trimming lengths.

Panasonic is not kidding when they say fine tuning with the quick adjust dial and the three comb attachments that range from. 5mm to 30mm. The quality of the trimmer appears to be quite good with a comfortable feel and nice grip.

In use, my husband was very satisfied with the performance of the trimmer and felt that the motor was quiet compared to other trimmers he has used. Panasonic indicates that this trimmer uses a Japanese blade technology and the results of a fast, precise trim seem to show their effectiveness.

Additional options that are nice are the ability to trim wet or dry hair, washable blades and a waterproof body, ability to use corded or cordless, and a charge that lasts up to 50 minutes. Given the ability to charge in an hour I’d guess that most will find the cordless option to be preferred, but it’s nice to have the ability to use while charging should the need come up.

The charge status lamp (LED display) is helpful since it indicates remaining battery power in cordless use and progress while charging the battery. The price is a bit higher than what we’ve paid for other trimmers, but I think the design, quality and performance justify it.

For those who change beard lengths you can’t beat the flexibility this trimmer offers. My husband’s one suggestion was that he’d like to see the storage case increase in size as it won’t hold everything.

Maybe two different sizes would be a nice addition at this price point; one for storage of all accessories and one for travel?.

I’ve been on the hunt for a long time for a good beard trimmer. I did what a lot of beard-wearing folks did at the beginning of the pandemic. I stopped grooming! It was the perfect time to let it grow without worrying about regular maintenance and scraggly rogue hairs.

There comes a time, however, where you have to clean up the ends and edges to maintain a healthy beard. The trimmers I’ve used up to that point were largely intended for folks with shorter facial hair, maybe under a half inch long in most places.

This makes it difficult for guys with slightly longer beards, as the combs that typically come with such trimmers are inadequate for maintaining more than a “close” beard. Panasonic’s washable trimmer provides 3 combs for lengths up to almost 1.

25 inches, and the onboard dial provides the ability to dial in that trim to 20 lengths per comb. There is also a precision trimmer attachment for close up work. As my beard gets longer, I don’t like “free-hand” trimming–I like the ability to rely on a comb, and the large comb works well for me.

The precision dial on the body of the trimmer gives me security that pushing too hard on the comb won’t result in “slipping” to a shorter setting. I like the overall design of the trimmer. It’s a bit chunky, but not overly heavy and feels good in the hand.

The way that the blades connect to the body minimize points of ingress for hairs, which makes brushing out the trimmer a lot easier. It can also be run under water to help with washing. The travel bag is a bit small and cheap.

There’s enough space for one comb (attached to the trimmer) and the detail head, but that’s about it. I’ve paid at most $50 for trimmers in the past, and for the most part I’ve been happy with them. This trimmer retails at $84.

When I first got these clippers and tried them out, I thought they weren’t even cutting. All of a sudden, I saw a big clump of hair fall to the floor! These things are so smooth, you don’t even feel them cutting.

They seem to have plenty of power and a long cutting time (3 hours). The digital readout is nice. tells you how much charge is left. I’ve used other big name clippers (Wahl, Babylos/Forfex, Andis, etc.

), and this rivals them easily in craftsmanship, quality and ease of use. The only drawback, if any, is they’re a little weighty. I know they have to be to provide the battery power, so I’ll live with it.

Having cut my hair for over 20 years using products from W**l and C**air, I was blown away by these clippers. Plenty of power, and I just finally had to charge them up after having them for over 6 months.

Was afraid my wife killed them when she plugged into 120V, but it was all fine; they still work and charge (with the proper cord and voltage).

It ok, nit as smooth as the other reviews made it seem. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 3. As a barber, it’s not smooth enough and gets hot after 30mins

Girlfriend got me this trimmer as an early Father’s Day gift and I was very pleased with the way it looked. I’ve tried many trimmers overtime nothing really look precisely like this and I’ve never heard of supreme trimmer.

I was very surprised with the quality and to come see the price it’s super affordable it will be replacing my Phillips device and probably others. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice looking trimmer that works higher than expected.

This face hair trimmer from Philips Norelco is a pretty nice deal for the price. In the box youll get the trimmer, 3 ft long charging cord, storage bag, three different blade heads, and seven different sized guards.

The storage bag is kind of an afterthought and is a cheap feeling material with a plastic zip bag style zip top. Its doubtful the bag will hold up to lots of traveling. The white grease that comes dobbed on the heads can also easily get all over the other accessories once you put it all in the bag (see attached pic).

Assuming over time that grease will end up being gone and no longer lubricate the trimmer properly. The lack of needing blade oil is great, although it makes one wonder how long the trimmer will last.

A minor confusing point to the buyer is the item is listed (even on the actual packaging) as the MG5750/60. Upon opening the package I found out I had the MG5750, not the 60. The only difference I can see via the manual is that the 60 has 15 minutes more runtime.

So I guess Norelco put a bigger battery in one of them and decided it wasnt worth telling the buyer which one they get. So I guess its random chance? Strange. The guards have printed sizes in millimeters which are quite difficult to read.

The user also has to translate to the normal guard sizes for trimmers by looking at the manual. The sizes are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 16 mm, which translates to ½, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 normal guard sizes roughly.

Make for sure you don’t accidentally think you’re putting standard #5 on when in fact it’s 5mm! I personally normally use a 6 or 8 for a longer beard, so if you have a longer beard this isnt the trimmer for you.

A quick search showed that larger guards are not available separately either, nor do the higher model number Norelco face trimmers (the 5000 or 7000 series) have larger ones either. Theres no indicator that the trimmer is charging or that its fully charged, the manual just says it takes 8 hours to fully charge.

So if youre out of juice youre not trimming your face for a while. The trimmer does operate with the cord plugged in but its unclear if it will do so on a dead battery. A standard USB-C or something might have been nice to have over the barrel jack.

Overall this trimmer performs great for the price and has the appropriate accessories for most face trimming needs.

This is a great little hair trim kit that seems well made with lots of trim accessories including ear/nose hair trimmer, that all work great. I normally provide 5 stars for products that have few or no flaws as this trimmer has, but I’m going to be very critical going forward for poor product packaging.

The packaging on this product has the typical bubble-plastic envelope that only serves one purpose; for on-shelf marketing/display. Getting to the product requires aggressive cutting and hacking through this dangerous (I don’t know how an elderly person would get into this without possibly slicing into themselves) and non-recyclable plastic bubble.

Once in, the shredded composite of plastic and cardboard gets tossed and all the pieces that came with the trimmer have no home, so you have to use another package from somewhere to keep it all together.

If we don’t start complaining about this waste to manufacturers, nothing will be done about it. The government should really ban products that have this type of packaging. In retrospect, I should not have bought the product because of the packaging.

I was pretty happy when Newegg offered this as an eggxpert review in my inbox. I had been struggling along with my old norelco whose battery no longer worked and whose motor was getting weaker each time I used it despite being plugged into the wall.

I was very close to buying a new one and this was offered so, perfect! Or so I thought. Although for the money, it’s hard to complain about it, there are still somethings they could do to make it a better value.

More guard sizes, better charging port style, imperial sizing on guards, led indicator lights for operation/charging status/battery status, and maybe better waterproofing. All of those can’t be corrected for the cost of this item, but some of them could and still maintain this price-point.

It’s hard not to recommend it on sheer price alone. It’s rechargeable for an extremely reasonable cost. So though I would recommend it, I personally won’t be using it as my daily trimmer. I would say it’s just decent, nothing more, nothing less.

As a middle aged man I have tried many brands of trimmers. Hands down, Panasonic is the best and this trimmer does not disappoint. They cut the closest, they last the longest, and are ergonomically designed.

Great at what it does. I have some pretty gnarly hairs that grow from my nose and it just cleaves right through. Definitely use a rechargeable or lithium AA for that extra bit of chooch to get through the nose weeds.

Product worked fine for about an month or two, then started slowing down. Finally stopped working. Replaced the battery, Worked for two uses, and now won’t start. Done replacing batteries.

Not bad for the cost. Regulator body is make of sintered metal. Tried to put a better quality quick disconnect on and the body broke off. Replaced it with an older one in my shop. Dont have enough hours on it to give a performance review.

Well see how it performs after a few months.

Good Small Compressor! Took about 10 minutes to mount wheels and handle, and ready to work! Not too noisy. Holds pressure well. If you need a smaller sized yet powerful (150 psi) compressor, this is a nice little unit!.

I was sceptical about this as the suctions can be rubbish on other products, but this one has a super strong suction and a great price.

Great all in one trimmer! It charged fast and attachments clipped on and off easily. No snagging or pulling of hair and the results were great. Price is fantastic and it works significantly better than my previous corded model of a different brand.

The variety of attachments makes it super easy to get the hair trimmed right without going over it a ton of times. It’s also quiet and cleanup was simple and fast. Wish I would have purchased this sooner!.

Initial box opening and inspections went well. Seems well made. Kind of heavy but not bad. Feels solid. Battery came at 100% and it came with an extra battery. That was a bonus as I never read anything about that.

If it fails I would be suprised but we shall see.

The good thing about this trimmer is that it comes with plenty of guards and it has a nice led to tell you when the battery is getting low. It also has a plastic blade to help reduce the damage you may get from nicks shaving in uneven surfaces.

But for me the plastic blades do not cut close enough when it comes to shaving my head in the shower. So I use this one for other areas while I have another water resistant one with metal blades that I use for my head.

This trimmer not only has a vacuum feature but it also has a quick cleaning feature that allows water to run through the trimmer to easily facilitate cleaning. I do recommend to read the instructions that come with this nose hair trimmer since there’s a bit more going on with this device then your typical throw away trimmer.

As for cutting ability it’s like a little lawnmower for your nose. It just trims and sucks away the hair without a glitch. The size of this trimmer is on the bigger side but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

After all how often does anyone use a nose hair trimmer? Once a month or maybe once every other week? I also have the less expensive Panasonic ER430 which I’ve had for five years. It’s been flawless and has kept it’s blades sharp all this time.

I oil the blades every time I clean the unit which is every other use. The ER430 isn’t water resistant like this trimmer is so I have to take it apart to clean it up. However this trimmer it’s also recommend to take it apart so all the parts dry faster.

As for trimming ability the ER430 is also a fine product. But this trimmer with it’s higher voltage motor is just more powerful and a bit more convenient. As usual Panasonic has delivered a great grooming product.

Purchased & used for about 1 month (& I am not a compensated reviewer). So far, simply the best nose hair trimmer I’ve owned, & I’ve tried many different brands / models. Most are badly designed, in my opinion.

A high speed motor on this model allows for very effective, fast & clean nose hair cutting. Simple as that. The ‘vacuum’ feature captures cut hairs & is a plus too. This Panasonic model has a quality ‘feel’ / build to it which is a noticeable improvement over some others.

Don’t even bother looking at other models, just get this one & you’ll be happy!.

I bought this unit to replace its predecessor. Like the original, the new trimmer performs well, is quick to use and is easy to clean. I do hope the new unit is more durable. The original died after five years.

Given the price and the fact that it runs on batteries, five years may be considered reasonable life-expectancy. I was still willing to buy the latest model (the replacement model for my first trimmer) because I was pleased with the hair cutting performance of the original.

Ive tried several thru the years that would work okay. This one is Exceptional. Easy to hold and maneuver around my body. And trims great. Highly recommend.

Product is light weight and easy to use. I have used it with and without the groin guard. Both work as explained and no nicks, cuts or shaver burn. Have not use other hair cutting attachments but intend to try them out shortly.

I use it daily to sharpen the edges of my mustache and sideburns.

I like the fact that it is made out of quality materials, it gives you a wide range of trim and shave options to choose from, it is rechargeable, and I also very much like the fact that the razor is able to adapt to virtually any contour of the face, which is very neat.

I typically style my facial hair in a variety of ways, all of which can be handled by this kit, (it even shows you what it can help with on the back of the packaging, which helps the consumer out a lot, in my opinion).

Seems to me like this kit will last me a significantly long time simply due to how well it is constructed, which prevents any machinery from overheating, (which actually became a problem with a previous brand I used), not to mention the fact that other kits just don’t offer as much options to choose from when it comes to choosing a facial hair style.

I was aware of the Braun brand prior to trying out this item, but I was not aware of this particular item, (and I am very glad that I was introduced to it). Due to my experience using this particular item, I will absolutely consider the Braun brand in future purchases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] The Braun Beard Trimmer BT5260 is so much better than the other electric trimmer I’ve been using! My other brand trimmer tends to pull my facial hair as it’s cutting and this one does not! It also doesn’t get hot like my other one and leave my neck red.

I love how the trimmer head comes off and can be fully rinsed out. There’s no way you could do that with others as it would pretty much ruin them. I didn’t know this trimmer existed prior to getting to test it out, and i will definitely buy this when the one i have dies! Now i don’t typically grow my beard out, but it has attachments that slide right on and off, no snapping required, which always made me nervous on other models because I’ve broken the trim heads before.

With these attachments, you can simply clean up your beard if it’s long and ready for a trim. I had the wife use it on my head with the attachment, but it cuts very short! So it may not be for everyone when i comes to cutting your head hair.

Overall, i would recommend this trimmer to anyone who doesn’t use a razor and shave gel, and would rather just trim their facial hair!.

I’m always on the hunt for different beard trimmers and it’s been difficult to find a decent one. Mainly because I like my beard thick and full instead of thin and with a close shave. Most beard timers I’ve used in the past do not have a long size.

This Braun trimmer comes with sizes up to 20 mm with two different attachments. This is PERFECT for me since I like it longer than 10 mm which most previous ones I’ve used seem to max out on. It has a dial knob so you can actually do half sizes giving you like 40 different lengths.

I love how it’s wireless and you can wash it easily with water afterwards. I shave in the shower so water resistant is very important to me. It charges quick and seems to last a while as well. It’s not the best for body hair, but it’s not advertised for that so it didn’t surprise me.

The set came with a very nice and durable razor with two 4 blade attachments that I gave to my wife. She prefers men’s razors over women’s and I don’t use them. So a win-win for both of us.

I’ve been trimming my own hair for thirty plus years, needed a new trimmer so bought this as Braun should stand for quality. No it doesn’t with this model. It hacked at my hair so badly I gave up and just shaved the lot off! Refund next thing to sort.

Advice? Buy something else.

Very well designed. Although advertised primarily as a beard trimmer it copes with shortening hair at the sides and back of the head. To do this, it is best to have someone operate it for you; my wife does mine! Longer hair needs to be shortened progressively, which means going over the same area more than once, each time on a shorter setting.

If you need a quick completely shaved head, this is probably not for you. , although, given time, it will do the job. Once charged, it goes for a long time, easily enough for a good trim. The length of hair left on the head is very easily controlled.

I decided on a Braun product as I already had a braun series 7 electric razor and was impressed by it. I am happy with this purchase.

Comes with an foreign 2 point plug which wasn’t shown on front picture where others are so pretty useless with a adapter. Bought another different one half the price and comes with the correct plug and fixings.

I have cut my own hair for over 10 years. This is the third clipper I have purchased during that time. It’s the first one made by Remington. I read horror stories of some clippers, “. Pulling the hair out, not cutting it”.

I want my clipper to be light weight. This one is small and light weight. I have cut my hair two times with it so far. It cuts very smoothly and fast. It is easy to hold. It is slightly smaller than most clippers.

The blade easy detaches for cleaning. I don’t have anything negative to say about this product. I think it is well made, does a great job, and well worth the money.

I recently tried Wahls Manscaper to keep my chest, arms, legs and back nice and shaven during the end of summer when the days feel hotter. I first saw the product online and was underwhelmed at the packaging thinking to myself it’s like every other product I’ve seen already.

I have been cutting my husbands hair ever since we started dating and it was finally time to buy new clippers. I looked online and these were rated as the best overall without having to spend $$$, they are probably the worst clippers I have ever used.

My husband has hair more on the finer side but is usually easy to get a good cut. Not with these, I used them twice, and even after the first use, I noticed how many hairs it missed and how uneven it cut, even with guards on.

I am now having to buy new ones less than 2 months later. Don’t waste your money.

Worked really well until on day it got extremely noisy. Tried to use the adjustment screw on the side to quiet it down, and then I realized that the guts fell out. The lower blade portion of the clipper, the part that moves back and forth, was sitting in the bag with the guards.

That’s not supposed to happen. I took the two screws that hold the top blade on and put the guts/lower blade back in place, but the razor is loud. Like you need earplugs loud. If you use the adjustment screw on the side, you can make it quieter, but then it does not cut your hair.

I really don’t know what happened-all I did was use it to shave my head 3 times, and it totally fell apart on me and died. After three months, I have a dead trimmer-it just fell apart.

I just use the main trimmer for basic shaves a couple times a week. Replacing my last one that lasted about 5 years. I’m ok with just knocking some hair off every few days and don’t worry too much about razor shaving.

Surprised the included plastic clothes protection apron doesn’t have holes in it so remember to ditch it it you have children as it’s a suffocation hazard. All the accessories are too much for me but good if your trying to do trims for a start up haircut gig.
